Romans 15

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

17 I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.

18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:

21 But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

22 For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you.

23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;

24 Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.

25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.

27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

28 When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.

29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

  1. 5. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

    6. That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    -Protect the Unity-

    Philippians 2:2
    Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

  2. Verses 1-2 MSG “Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?” For we are building up the temple for the Lord, together.

    1 Corinthians 1:10 AMP “But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith].”

    Ephesians 4:32 AMP “Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave [a]you.”

  3. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

    The Word brings us hope. Through reading the word we learn. The more we dive into the word the more hope and comfort we are given.

    “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬
    “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
    “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
    Hope is our anchor and it comes from the Word as well as The Holy Ghost. I trust in the Lord with all of my heart and thank Him for the hope He has given me through His Word.

  4. To me this scripture is admonishing us to be conscious of how unbelievers perceive the church. First and foremost we must be unified as a church body and realize that we we need to encourage those that have been not established with strong falth. When we retain this perspective this allows us to remember where God has brought us from, and it gives us hope and joy in our current relationship with him. This mindset also keeps us in tune with the needs of the new Christians.
    Allowing us to bear the burdens of others and not seeking to please our ourself is in effect pleasing the Lord.

  5. Now we who are strong [in our convictions and faith] ought to [patiently] put up with the weaknesses of those who are not strong, and not just please ourselves. Let each one of us [make it a practice to] please his neighbor for his good, to build him up spiritually.

    An acronym that i heard years ago was;

    J – Jesus first
    O – Others second
    Y – yourself last.
    In all reality when you do this, it truly does bring joy to oneself! It is what i believe. It is a sacrifice allowing you to put aside your agenda and meeting the needs of those who are weak. One day you may need that help in return.

    S.O.U.L.S

    S – serving
    O – others
    U – until(the)
    L- lost(are)
    S – saved

    Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
    Matthew 22:37‭-‬39 KJV

  6. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
    2 Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification.
    3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

    What’s the point of strength if it is used for nothing or even self-glory? what purpose does it serve to be strong in the Lord if it isn’t being used properly? Those that have an understanding of the word, and have experience of the mercy of God are also burdened with the opportunity to use that for the glory of God by helping others. The strength that we obtain with the favor of the Lord is to be used for His purpose. Jesus was full of power and knowledge and as he walked the earth it was used to reach the hurting people.

  7. Romans 15: 9-10- 11[ Amp] And [ also in order] that Gentiles ( nations) mighty glorify God for his mercy
    [ not covenanted] to them. As it is written, Therefore I will praise You among the Gentiles and sing praises to Your name. [10] Again it is , Rejoice
    ( exult) O Gentiles, along with His [ own] people;
    [ Deut.32:43] Rejoice [ with] His people, O you nations, for He avenges the blood of his servants, and vengeance He inflicts on His foes and clears guilt from the land of His people.[ Psalm 18:49] Therefore will I give thanks and extol You, O Lord, among the , and sing praises to Your Name. The Lord is my Rock, My Fortress, and My Deliever, and My Strength and my Shield and my Saviour. Lord I will shout out in triumph in victory. May lives be full with victory and your love. And Give you all praises and glory. I bless this nation in Jesus Christ.

  8. Romans 15

    1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

    Will we stop whatever we are doing to save a life. I’m so glad someone did for me.

    Proverbs 25:11
    11 A word fitly spoken
    is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.

  9. Paul declares something here that we should always remember. ‘Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.’ The Holy Ghost is given to us for our strength! If we continue to believe on him, there should be a natural joy, a peace in our lives that is beyond understanding, because it endures despite the situations around us in life that we may be going through.

    The Holy Ghost is the earnest of our inheritance. That means we know of what is to come by what we receive with the Holy Ghost! We know the is peace in heaven because we experience it down here! We know there is great joy in heaven because God has allowed us to experience it down here! God does not leave us hopeless down here, he allows us to be a strong light of his truth down here!

    We understand heaven will be oh so much greater, but we continue to believe because he has given us a sampling of what is to come down here. The palmist declares I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. That’s why Paul could say and we should say, Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Not just sometime in the distant future, but right down here, right now and always!

  10. 23 But now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
    24 Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.
    25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

    GOD’S WILL TRUMPS ALL of our desires and the beginning, middle and end of HIS will for us is ALWAYS BETTER than anything we could ever conjure up!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  11. “Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?”

    That’s exactly what Jesus did. He didn’t make it easy for himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded right in and helped out. “I took on the troubles of the troubled,” is the way Scripture puts it. Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it’s written for us. God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever he will do next. May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Then we’ll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony in a stunning anthem to the God and Father of our Master Jesus!”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:1-6 MSG

    This is such a beautiful example of O.I. We have to help others get to the places that we are at and continue to excel in Jesus. This is how the church grows. This is how there is unity. We have to help everyone.

  12. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
    3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
    4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
    5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

    Lord Jesus thank you for your word of Truth that it may work patience and knowledge in me.

  13. 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Ghost.

  14. 13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (NLT)

    Fill us up God until we overflow!! You are our one desire, you are the one we take hope in, the one we put our trust in, the one who fills us and sanctifies us!

  15. The Evangelist

    20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:

    In evangelism you are not going for the saved, you are reaching for the lost. You are not preaching to the choir, you are preaching to sinners. This is why Western Day and others like it are so important. We have the opportunity on those days to really be evangelists, to reach the lost on a bigger scale. We have h opportunity everyday to do the work of an evangelist in our work, schools, coffee shops and grocery stores. We just have to step out and do it. Paul says the he would not build on another mans foundation this means he will lay his own foundation in Jesus. There are many scriptures about foundations and Jesus being the rock but as a builder I really understand this. If you build upon anything other than the rock, your structure will fail.

    Jesus my rock!

  16. “We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    These scriptures scream unity and submission to one another. The main theme of this chapter is to love one another and treat each other with respect. Don’t do something just because it’s ok for you but think of those around you

  17. My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else. I have been following the plan spoken of in the Scriptures, where it says, “Those who have never been told about him will see, and those who have never heard of him will understand.”
    Romans 15:20‭-‬21 NLT

    800000 people in the city of Fort Worth. 1.9 million at people in Tarrant County alone. there is a need in this place for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And it is our job to give it to them. so many people do not know that they have a God that loves them and has died for them. This is why when we pray the armor that we pray to be prepared in the Readiness of the Gospel, ready to share it wherever we go. Let’s go in faith in Jesus name!

  18. THY KINGDOM COME
    KINGDOM UNITED

    1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
    6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

    This passage teaches us the desire of JESUS is to uphold UNITY in HIS Church. If we approach our service in the Kingdom every day with a servant mindset, we will no doubt accomplish and fulfill the will of our Lord JESUS.

    The apostle is again approaching the problem and disunifying challenge of judgement and division in the church. We are repeatedly throughout the WORD of GOD instructed to lay aside self will and make strong efforts to unify in every area possible. Again teaching us the principal power of the Kingdom of GOD is attained through UNITY a unified effort. Thus the charge in verse 1 is not to avoid the weak, but to strengthen them, encourage them to live for GOD and keep the FAITH.

    Separation and division within the church is the only factor that can hinder its progress in Impacting Lives with the Gospel of JESUS. Lets seek for ways to strengthen and not isolate, build up and not tear down, serve others and not ourselves. Striving toward ONE Mind and ONE Mouth to Glorify and “Make Some NOISE” about and for JESUS.

    For some reason I thought about Sunday when we recognized Vetrans and Pastor spoke about Vetrans of faith, Cornellious was a veteran of Faith, Pastor told our Vetrans in our Church thank you for their service because if the fact that their fighting, their service is the reason we can praise the God of our life with liberty, and gladness and Joy, it’s because of Cornellious and others like him, that prayed and praised God even though he was a Gentile, even though he might not make it in, And God accepted his offering and praise and made it possible for Him and his whole family to be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost! Yes as Gentiles we need to praise him, it’s not because we have the right, but it’s because we have the privledge, because with out Jesus honoring the praises, and prayers, and obedience of that one Gentile, we may not have hope, and still be lost! But God saw something in us that he loved, and he made us heirs! Thank you Jesus for seeing in me what I or others don’t and help me to see in others what you see!

  20. Strive together in Prayer

    30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
    31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
    32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
    33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

    It’s one thing to war alone and a whole new ballpark when you have others willing to war with you. I truly believe and we have seen that God responds greatly to unity. When we are willing to unify in prayer fervently, God not only fills the gaps but he also responds greatly.

    Paul on his way to fulfill a call of God, knew that he would need the fervent prayers of others to join with him and his faith. He was not ashamed to ask for their prayers and they were willing to help. Notice he was specific in his request. I also love how he points out that after it’s all said and done, pray that I come back with joy and together we will be refreshed. He gave out but he also knew that he would need to be refreshed after it was all said and done.

    May each of us be willing to pray for one another, give of ourselves for KINGDOM purpose, and find joy in the times of refreshing.

  21. 1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

    2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

    This scripture screams to us to prefer our brethren before our selves. If we could lend a helping hand to those in need without asking something in return then I feel Jesus will bless us exponentially. We have to continue steadfast in the unity that our pastor is preaching and use the unifies body of Christ to build the kingdom of God bigger and bigger as we reach those that are hurting and need to be saved in this end time that we have left. We must love and not judge, we must be that light in the darkness!

    I love the Kingdom!

  22. 30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

    31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

    Strive together – Come together in agreement, agree on the same thing, working towards the same goal ……. This is what Paul is asking of his brethren, pray for him, coming together in agreement that he those he is trying to reach with the gospel will accept what he is saying, and he will be delivered from those who doubt.

    We as a family at POFW should all be striving together for the same thing – impacting lives to change the world. We must become fervent about reaching our region with the gospel. Time is short, we must work while it is day and be about the business of the Kingdom.

    Let’s strive together for the common goal – as a team!

  23. We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves. We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. For even Christ didn’t live to please himself…May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. Remember that Christ came as a servant…
    Romans 15:1‭-‬3‭, ‬5‭-‬8 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.15.1-8.NLT

    Paul is nothing if not thorough and consistent. He is again saying pretty much the same thing: prefer one another. The key to unity and harmony is to put God and others first—to live unselfishly, considering the body as a whole to be more important than self. We must take on the mind of a servant if we are to be like Christ. When we have the desire and commitment to live in this way, God gives us the patience and encouragement we need to accept one another.

  24. 10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
    11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
    12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
    13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost

    Praise God we have an advocate, even Jesus, who has made a way for us to know Him in the power of the Holy Ghost!

  25. May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
    Romans 15:5 NLT

    Paul is continuing the thought from Chapter 14 that we need to work in harmony. The strong carry the load for the weak. Harmony would be especially critical for the converted Roman Jews to get along with the new Gentile converts. He uses Old Testament Scriptures to point out how the Gentiles would be included in the church and to encourage them to accept the Gentiles into the body and to live in harmony with them.

  26. Romans 15:5-6
    5) Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
    6) That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    “Ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God”
    Let’s Make Some Noise About JESUS!!

  27. 1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

    2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

    3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

    All too often “Christians” are found tearing each other down instead of building one another up. But to truly be Christian means to be Christ-like. And Jesus is the ultimate example of putting others before Himself.

    To have a genuine concern for those who are weak means we will attempt to lead them out of their weaknesses and into their strengths.

    It is a simple call from God to put other before ourselves, yet we find it so challenging at times. But what I have learned is the more I build others up, the more I find myself being built up.

  28. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

    Jesus has been very patient with us! Why can’t we be patient with new believers? It’s important to remember we’re not the ones that are going to change them, only God can do that. Our job is to love them, guide them in scripture, and encourage them.

  29. 13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

    This life is temporal, God is eternal. Completely putting our trust in Him, gives us the joy,peace and strength to make it through this life until we can be with Him forever more

  30. “That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Gods will for you to approach people with joy, that’s a fruit of the Spirit ya know? We reach the world like this, with good fruits of the Spirit. People are more curious why you’re so happy when you talk to them with joy.
    Some situations are harder to stay “fruitful” in but we gotta keep this in mind because as a leader someone is always watching, and someone following us sees us act out then they’re gonna think it’s okay for them to do the same.

  31. UNITY

    5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
    6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Being likeminded=Unity
    With one mind and one mouth=Unity

    The secret is Unity. When there is unity, many things can be accomplished. An Army can conquer, a symphony can harmonize, and Kingdom can stand, and a people can be one. When we have unity we are unstoppable. We are the children of the most high God, so we must work to have unity.

  32. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

    4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

    5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

  33. 30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

    31 That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;

    32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.

    33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

    The prayers of those who actually care about you, really do help!

  34. Josiah: 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
    We are meant to understand God’s word. It is from the Word that we get Doctrine which is what we believe in. So, let us GO STUDY THE WORD to better understand the doctrine!

  35. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

    The OT is not void because of the NT but fulfilled because of the blood of Jesus. When sin was introduced to the world through Adam and Eve, it took many generations, 14 from Abraham to David, and 14 from the exile of Babylon to Jesus. They’re a total of 28 generations of life lessons of obedience, faith, love, grace and mercy that all reveal the need for our Savior Jesus. Each person mentioned in the Bible was a living breathing soul, not just and name on a page of a book. They had wants, needs and doubts. They had to learn to overcome situations, fears, and temptations. Each prophet, judge and king can teach us from their experiences and take comfort with the hope that lies in a relationship with Jesus.

  36. “God is the one who makes us patient and cheerful. I pray that he will help you live at peace with each other, as you follow Christ.”(Romans‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭CEV‬‬)

    If we stay faithful with patience He will take notice and deliver us from our situation. Jesus is looking for someone who will praise and worship him like it’s already happened.

  37. Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit.
    Romans 15:30 NLT

    We ought to pray and encourage one another. Even the Apostle Paul sought the prayers of the brethren. No one is a superhuman much less superhero. We all go through seasons in life and all are in need at times. It is a great way to show God’s love to pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ.

  38. When the body of Christ is unified, great things can be accomplished. The enemy loves when he sees division because it weakens us. Being unified gives us power over the things of this world. Don’t allow the things of this world to bring you down. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

  39. 13
    Now the God of hope fill
    you with all joy and peace
    in believing, that ye may
    abound in hope, through
    the power of the Holy Ghost.

  40. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    Romans 15:5‭-‬6 NIV

    Even though we are all different the kingdom of God can only expand and work if we all are united in one mind and one accord. God gets all the glory when we are together.

  41. We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
    Romans 15:1‭-‬3 KJV

    As I read this it reminded me of the days that I was bullied. I felt like the weak, but then a young boy entered into my life and taught me to stand up for myself. It was at that point that I learned; it’s not always about you or me. Sometimes we have to let go and guide others to safety. Lord help me to be that guide for someone seeking your light.

  42. We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.

    Many are going to be weak in seasons of thier life, but the those that are strong in the Lord must lift them up. We must encourage them and let them know we all have weaknesses but through Jesus Christ is the way we will receive our victory! Without God none of us can be strong spiritually. As leaders we must pray without ceasing. We might not see our prayers answered yet but know that God is working. We know that he is able to restore and strengthen the weak. As those souls go through trials, we must be there for them. We must pray for them and feed them spiritually.

    The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. John 21:17

  43. 30 Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit.

    Pray for evangelists, missionaries and those who travel around the world spreading the Word of God. Pray they continue to have patience, peace and joy during their travels. Bless each one of them physically, spiritually and financially.
