2 Corinthians 3

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  1. 18. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. NLT

The more we chase after Jesus, and the closer we get to Him, the more of His glory can shine on us, and we can reflect it back to this dark world. The darker the situation, the more a light stands out.

    Matthew 5:
    14. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

    15. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

    16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. KJV

  2. Verse 3 MSG “Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you. Christ himself wrote it—not with ink, but with God’s living Spirit; not chiseled into stone, but carved into human lives—and we publish it.” Same verse VOICE “You are the living letter of the Anointed One, the Liberating King, nurtured by us and inscribed, not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God—a letter too passionate to be chiseled onto stone tablets, but emblazoned upon the human heart.” We are a walking testimony of God’s love, mercy and grace, as verse 18 MSG says “Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.” Same verse VOICE “Now all of us, with our faces unveiled, reflect the glory of the Lord as if we are mirrors; and so we are being transformed, metamorphosed, into His same image from one radiance of glory to another, just as the Spirit of the Lord accomplishes it.”

  3. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The word liberty in this scripture is used in the same context as the word freedom.

    Freedom is defined as:

the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Or the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.

As a spirit filled, anointed, power filled child of God, we have the ability to come boldly before the throne of God where we can find grace and mercy. There we can illustrate the freedom to worship and praise God without reservation or even hesitation. There in the presence of God nothing should be able to separate us from the love of God. We have to put off anything that takes our freedom from us. Those things that bind us to the world., to doubt and fear, to keep our praise and worship from being our very best

I ponder the very question: What will keep me from enjoying the liberty that is in serving Jesus Christ with all of my heart, my mind, and all my soul?

I say to Jesus I won’t turn back now, I must continue to push further and harder to be in his presence to enjoy the fullness of God. The psalmist David stayed in Psalms 16-

11Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

    I live the kingdom!

  4. 2 Corinthians 3:14-18 (nlt)
    14) But the people’s minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ.
    15) Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand.
    16) But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
    17) For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
    18) So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord – who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

When someone turns to the Lord and believes in Christ, then the veil that has covered their minds and hearts will be removed, and they can understand the truth.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (St. John 8:32).
“Wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

  5. Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

As I was reading John 10:10 kept resounding on my ears
John 10:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
The Old law was so relevant for the Children of Isreal, they had need of guidance, they were rebellious, disrespectful, Idolitors, the law was something that the had to have to bring order to their lives, and not following the commands sometimes would lead to extreme punishment. God changed all that, we don’t walk according to the old law but the bvb we law, but we reverence the old Law because it’s still Gods word, Jesus said he came to fulfill the law! God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. So now we walk by the spirit, and so we have a chance, because instead of immediate punishment. we have grace and mercy and we are given a chance of repentance, and wait for Judgment. The Holy Ghost gives us a newness. a relief from things that were literally checking us from life, he’s literally God manifested in us, Jesus…

  6. 2 Corinthians 3:16 -17 (Amp) But whenever a person turns ( in repentance) to the Lord , the veil is stripped off and taken away. [ 17] Now the Lord is the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty
    ( emancipation) from bondage, freedom).
Isa 61:1-2 ] The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor , and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted , to proclaim liberty to the
( physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound.
[2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [ the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, To comfort all who mourn. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult him, And I will make him a everlasting covenant. Thank you Jesus !

  7. Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts. We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.
    2 Corinthians 3:3‭-‬5 NLT
We are a living testimonial and we should’nt keep it to ourselves but tell everyone

  8. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Paul teaches about the OT covenant law in Galatians that only purposed to lead us to the NT covenant, but yet some people still want to live by the OT to justify righteousness. Righteousness is obtained by obedience to his word only and that is the spiritual liberty that Paul talking about, folling spirit of the Lord it gives us liberty

  9. “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s their fruit. The people they influence, the lives people lead, that is what everyone sees. That is why random people ask you to pray. That is why friends you haven’t heard from come to you asking to reconnect. The Jesus in you shines through and lights up the world around you.

  10. 4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

    5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Without Him Christ Jesus I am nothing. I am dependent. I admit it. Everyday I must depend on Hos love . His Word His Guidance. My dependency is with rewards that will lead me to the Kingdom of God. This world is so dependent upon many superficial elements that are destructive to the body and mind. The peace of God and the transformation that He can only make is what we must share . Yes I’m dependent without Him I could do nothing. I find my hope and strength in Him.

  11. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  12. “The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This morning in prayer God began to show me all the people that believed in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and Jesus name Baptism. There’s a lot….and my heart began to ache and hurt as I thought of some of my family members.
The Bible, the book of life, the book that was wrote by HOLY men of God that was led by the Spirir of God says this. Be ye Holy for I am Holy
“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬ (New Testament)
“Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭20:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ (Old Testament)

That’s two references from both old and new. I want the people to see Gods glory. That’s the glow everyone has when they get the Holy Ghost. But to show Gods glory I must be Holy. When you step out of holiness you’re stepping away from submission, you’re stepping away from authority. When you step out of those things you may not see but you’re stepping IN to rebellion and rebellion is a form of witchcraft and that’s a pathway straight to hell…..they don’t have AC in hell.
My prayer today is that I can show someone this revelation and that it helps them come back to holiness.
    Jesus name.

  13. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  14. God’s desire for his New Testament church is that ‘Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men… written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.’ When his word is within us, it shows in our testimony. People can observe our life and see the expression of God in our daily activities. They see a greater dimension to our walk than can be described by what they otherwise know.

This example gives greater glory to God, ‘And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God’ It is that trust in the face of circumstances that are clearly beyond our control that catches the attention of those looking for something more. They come to take a closer look themselves to see the effect that God can have on their own lives and situations and those epistles continue to be written in yet another life!

  15. iLove the Kingdom

‘But the people’s minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ. Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand.’

    2 Corinthians 3:14-15 NLT
The reason folks can sit in service like a bump on a horned frog is because their minds are covered with a veil that blocks all understanding. Paul would continue to struggle with this issue for the rest of his time here on earth. Notice what he tells the Romans, ‘With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it. My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed—cut off from Christ!—if that would save them. ‘
    Romans 9:1-3

The sad fact of life is that some will never be saved no matter how hard we try. We know it’s the will of God for all to be saved, but some will never allow the veil to be removed so their understanding can be opened.

  16. The First Love

16-18 Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We’re free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.

It is a wonderful thing to reflect on our first’s in life. Our first kiss, our first time to drive, our first time to stay in a hotel, our first airplane ride, etc. More powerful than all of those is the first time we have meeting with Jesus. Not just another prayer service or the first time we speak with a heavenly language. I am referring to the first time we have a meaningful conversation with Jesus. A life altering experience that we may sometimes push to the back of our minds but upon reflection recreates such emotion we crave to recreate the experience.

  17. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    LIBERTY

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

It is frustrating to witness people who hold this promise as they continue to live in bondage. The LORD is that Spirit! The Holy Ghost in us is the promise of Liberty.

Liberty – 1: the quality or state of being free:
a : the power to do as one pleases
b : freedom from physical restraint
c : freedom from arbitrary or despotic (see DESPOT sense 1) control
d : the positive enjoyment of various social, political, or economic rights and privileges
e : the power of choice

Liberty -1657. eleutheria; from 1658; freedom (legitimate or licentious, chiefly moral or ceremonial): — liberty.

Seeking FIRST the Kingdom of GOD initiates the promise of LIBERTY in our lives. Seeking FIRST the Kingdom demonstrates that we choose LIBERTY FIRST. What a beautiful and simple revelation.

Liberty is Freedom and Freedom in from, in and through JESUS.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

The word FREE in John 8:36 and the word LIBERTY in 2 Corinthians 3:17 are from the same root Greek word.

1658. eleutheros; unrestrained (to go at pleasure), i.e. (as a citizen) not a slave (whether freeborn or manumitted), or (genitive case) exempt (from obligation or liability): — free (man, woman), at liberty.

To sum it all up, we do not have to spend any time living in bondage of care, worry or fear. We have these precious promises and we have immediate access to them when we live our lives to “Seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD”.

  18. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.
    2 Corinthians 3:17‭-‬18 HCSB
    https://bible.com/bible/72/2co.3.17-18.HCSB

As I was reading this; I began to think am I the glory of the Lord. What have I done to glorify God. As I was praying at work: I began to wonder why I don’t do this more often. It is to the glory of God that I seek Him in all that I do. I know that if God wasn’t in my life I wouldn’t be where im at today. I thank Jesus for saving me and protecting me from unforeseen accidents, for being my glory when I needed Him to be.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
    John 14:6 HCSB
    https://bible.com/bible/72/jhn.14.6.HCSB

  19. “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:17-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We need more of His Spirit. And as we seek Him first we will find ourselves changing into being more like Him. Lord, I ask if there is any veil over us please remove it so we can see and reflect your glory.

  20. 2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

Men often joke about understand women. A good Woman is a forever evolving creature that is able to not only multitask but also accomplish it all; even under pressure.

With this great task comes the great responsibility of membering to take care of ones self. This scripture says that the epistle was written in the heart but the person was know and read by all men.

As a women I sometimes get so Concentrated on the tasks before me that I neglect the relationships around me. My heart is good my intentions are good. Yet, those around me see me as busy or engaged in other things instead of the soul that is standing in front of me in the moment.

As the church our number one responsibility is to reach souls. We must focus more on the soul than the task. Please do not neglect the task but the soul that is standing in front of us is the real goal not the task.

When people read us they should not read “busy, uninterested, or angry. They should read love for Christ is love. They should read “a place of refuge” They should find direction and peace in their storms. We must take care of ourselves by comparing our lives to the word and being daily transformed by Him to become the Word for others to experience. This life is not just read it’s experienced .

  21. 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Jesus give the life because of the spirit of God! If we just seek FIRST the KINGDOM life is given freely and God wants people to receive his spirit.

  22. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

True liberty is found when we walk in the Spirit. Many times we get bogged down with “life” as we know it. Somehow we must learn that in seeking HIS KINGDOM FIRST we will exoerience a liberty in the spirit world that we have yet seen.

Those that walk after the Spirit will find heaven opportunities each day to truly be the disciple that God created us to be and our lives will be that epistle known and read of all men

  23. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

As we behold the glory of God, we will be transformed.

You will always be able to tell if someone is spending time in His presence by the transformation in their life.

There are many ways to change. As situations come and go, as the world around us is continually changing, we too as a people are ever changing. But the most enduring, lasting transformation comes through spending time in the presence of God.

Yet, it requires something, it requires us beholding. The word behold means to spend time observing. It is only when we daily spend time observing the glory of the Lord that we will see a growth of love, righteousness, peace, and joy in our lives. It is only then that we will transformed into the same image as Him!

“We go from glory to glory to glory
We’ll never be the same, we’ll never be the same
We go from glory to glory to glory
We’re forever changed, forever changed” – Behtel Music: Glory to Glory

  24. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. (NLT)

We can see and reflect His glory. Can – meaning we have the ability. But it’s something we have to tap into, something we have to activate and put into action. Sanctify us Lord and transform us to become holy like unto you, to reflect Your glory!

  25. 2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

    5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

We are observed by the world around us and what do they see? Can they see we lead a holy separate life or do we blend in with the world? I want to be known as Christ like, ready to teach or lead someone to the apostolic doctrine. By seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, our influence will grow and we will be used of God in our families and to our coworkers greater than ever before.

  26. 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

The word of God written by the Blood of Christ in our heart!!!!

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Let’s carry His word in our hearts forever.
Let the work of our hands show what is written in our hearts. Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

  27. It is not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God. He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit produces life.
    2 Corinthians 3:5‭-‬6 HCSB

Many people try to live for God in their own strength by following the letter of the law (or the rules of the church). There are a couple of problems with this.

On the one hand, if you vainly see yourself as successful (or at least as more successful than others) it genders self-righteousness, judgment, criticism, pride, a lack of empathy and compassion, and such the like. All these are the opposite of the Spirit and intent of the law, because they actually hinder one from loving God and/or man. While professing to be holy, the heart becomes black unto death. While busy dotting all the i’s and crossing all the t’s, crossing off your list all that you feel is expected of you, you lose all gratitude for the grace of God and get carried away with religion rather than with relationship.

On the other hand, if you are honest enough to admit that it is impossible to live up to the ideal of the law, but feel you must do so anyway to become worthy enough to be saved, hopelessness and self-loathing can set it. Every day can become a drudgery of trying to be good enough but failing. You may start blaming God (or the church) for requiring more of you than it is possible to give, or you may just give up altogether. People walk away from serving God by the letter of the law every day saying, “I tried religion (or Jesus, or the church), it doesn’t work. If I’m going to hell anyway (or if I can never be good enough anyway), I might as well live like I want right now.”

Both these extremes cause death because they attempt to live holy in the flesh, by the sheer will of man, and not by the grace and Spirit of God. God gave us His Spirit because the flesh cannot be good apart from His intervention and guidance. He gave us grace so that we don’t get discouraged when we come up short. When we learn to walk in the Spirit, relishing in the love of a merciful and gracious God, we are transformed into His likeness and begin to follow the law by nature rather than by self-will. Thus, the letter kills, but the Spirit produces life.

  28. Liberty o how i love that word . putting the KINGDOM first in our lives would do that to you . through His spirit . .. No worrys. He gave us grace so that we don’t get discouraged when we come up short . a sound mind , Love , self dicipline

  29. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

God can set us free from anything. Whether it be fear, doubt, depression, or addiction nothing is impossible for God. He can break every chain and wants to set us free from whatever holds us back from giving Him our all.

  30. 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains uplifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

  31. 13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  32. [2Co 3:11, 14-17 NLT] 11 So if the old way, WHICH HAS BEEN REPLACED, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever! …
I am amazed that so many people turn back to the Old Testament ways of living for God when the Israelites never could get it right. This verse plainly tells us the Old covenant has been replaced! We have been given better promises, a better life, and a better covenant.

14 But the people’s minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ. 15 Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand. 16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

The Spirit brings freedom from the Old Testament laws and ceremonies.

This reminds me of another Scripture: [Rom 8:2 KJV] 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

  33. I Love To Worship The Lord
    (vs-18)
But we Christians have no veil over our faces we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spririt of the Lord works within us we become more more like him.
    WoW!!!!!
From time to time I have Witness to A lot of people at work any where that i go where there is people.
I really have noticed that when i have prayed and in the Spirit God gives me words that flow out my mouth and had a impact to the people i am witness to.
My point being when we as christians are being vs-18 are witnessing is a lot more effective to the people we are witnessing to

  34. But [in fact] their minds were hardened [for they had lost the ability to understand]; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed [only] in Christ. But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil [of blindness] lies over their heart; but whenever a person turns [in repentance and faith] to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom]. And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.
    2 CORINTHIANS 3:14‭-‬18 AMP

    Blind but now I see.

  35. Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face!
    2 Corinthians 3:16‭-‬18 MSG

When we come face to face with our Creator it completely changes us. You cannot be in the presence of God and stay the same.

  36. The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you. Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.
    2 Corinthians 3:2‭-‬3 NLT

We are a walking example. Wherever we go we are a living testimony. Our lives should proclaim Jesus.

  37. 2 Corinthians 3:17,18 Now the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord .

Romans 8:29,30. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son that he might be the firstborn among many brethern

  38. 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

Unfortunately, many people raised in church, are never taught anything but law, and totally miss the part about relationship. Jesus wants to see us follow His commands, but he wants a relationship with us too. There must be a balance, and it is up to us to find and walk in it.

  39. 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

The Word is more than letters written in ink on a page or stories in a book. It’s living and breathing. It’s life speaking to those who will listen, then answer its call to heed its teaching. We should carry the Word of God with us like it’s apart of us, written on the flesh of our hearts.

  40. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

If people are not being delivered at church, where is the Spirit? It takes a unity mind set on praise and worship that attracts the manifestation of the power God.

If the Spirit doesn’t show up, then you have a sociel club and not a On Firez, tongue talking , devil stompin church.

  41. 2 The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you.

MSG 3 1-3 Does it sound like we’re patting ourselves on the back, insisting on our credentials, asserting our authority? Well, we’re not. Neither do we need letters of endorsement, either to you or from you. You yourselves are all the endorsement we need. Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you. Christ himself wrote it—not with ink, but with God’s living Spirit; not chiseled into stone, but carved into human lives—and we publish it.

As time goes, God puts his stamp of approval once we accept him as our savior.

  42. “The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you.”(2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Paul explains to us that Jesus is telling us that we are an walking, breathing example of Christ. We are our own testimonies for “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”(1 John‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

  43. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

We are to be changed into the same image and be what God wants us to be. We should reflect His glory.
