2 Corinthians 5

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

  1. In the ERV version verses 11-21 are captioned “Helping People Become God’s Friends”. The end of verses 16-20 MSG says “….God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.” As the song says:

Who am I that You are mindful of me
That You hear me when I call
Is it true that You are thinking of me
How You love me it’s amazing

I am a friend of God
I am a friend of God
I am a friend of God
    He calls me friend

    God Almighty, Lord of Glory
    You have called me friend

    He calls me friend
    He calls me friend…

  3. That keeps us vigilant, you can be sure. It’s no light thing to know that we’ll all one day stand in that place of Judgment. That’s why we work urgently with everyone we meet to get them ready to face God. God alone knows how well we do this, but I hope you realize how much and deeply we care. We’re not saying this to make ourselves look good to you. We just thought it would make you feel good, proud even, that we’re on your side and not just nice to your face as so many people are. If I acted crazy, I did it for God; if I acted overly serious, I did it for you. Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do. Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.
    2 Corinthians 5:11‭-‬14 MSG

Our city, our mission! A.L.M.A.S/S.O.U.L.S it’s what it is all about. ‘First The KINGDOM .’

  4. 16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

A sign that you are getting closer to Christ is that you are consistently putting aside ways you were acostomed to to for me habits that are in the character of Christ. Being renewed everyday means to constantly be putting away ways that gratify your flesh that take away from the glory of God. Everyday we need to set aside our flesh and pick up our cross

  5. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 [Amp] Therefore if any person is [ ingrafted] in Christ ( the Messiah) he is a new creation ( a new creature altogether) ; the old
[ previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come ! [18]
But all things are from God, Who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to Himself [ received us into favor, Brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [ that by the Word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him. Being born again makes you feel good inside about yourself. Your past sins are forgiven and forgot. Thank Lord for restoring me and saving me.

  6. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Paul reminds us through these scripture that this world is not our home. For we desire to be in the presence of the glory of God. For when we pass from this body of flesh we shall return back to the one who created us. In that moment we will stand before him in the beauty of his glory for eternity. But as Christians on this earth we will be judged for the things we have, have not, or even should have done. For every word spoken or unspoken we will be judged. I’m longing for him to say welll done thy good and faithful servant enter in.

This is our ultimate destiny if we put first the Kingdom!

    I love the Kingdom!

  7. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Thank you Jesus that we are made righteous through the blood that you shed on the cross. Without you we are nothing and can’t do nothing.

  8. 14 Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.
15 He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. (NLT)

Well what a good point: if we believe Christ died for us then we should also believe that we must die to our old selves. We must die daily and crucify this flesh – choose to walk in the Spirit, choose First the Kingdom!

  9. iLove the Kingdom
We will all be judged one day in the very near future. Verse 10 declares, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

There will be no escape from judgement. God will not show respect of persons but will judge righteously. Notice the next verse, 11 “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”

This is New Testament word here and it describes the “terror of the Lord”. We need to realize that God will not be gentle on the day of judgement, but it will be a “terror” to be in His Presence. Wow.

  10. “For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When it’s Gods time there is no wrong time.
Gods time is the right time and whenever that may be that time will be now and that’s the right time because it’s Gods time.
So being sensitive to the Spirit God might lead you to someone or even bring someone to you. Take advantage of that because God is USING you for their RIGHT NOW time with God. That’s an honor and a privilege. Rejoice with them in the Lord and be glad. The Bible says blessed is those feet who shares the Gospel. So go be blessed today with those Longdom walking shoes!

  11. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation

A believer transforms into likeness of Christ living a life of holiness.

  12. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    NEW

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

In life when we make a purchase or investment in clothes, cars, houses or any other product for use, we appreciate the newness of the product, whether shiny, or efficient, or modern. Something new, usually receives preferred treatment or special recognition. Then after a season, the clothes get worn, the car is spotted with dents and scratches, the door squeaks or the paint is marked on the new house and eventually it becomes used or worn.

However as I read this verse, it is not a simple ONE Time occurrence.

If any man be “IN CHRIST”, he is a new creature:

Speaking to us that as long as I remain “IN CHRIST” I remain NEW. My life is NEW perpetually, HIS promises are NEW repeatedly, I never become old, worn or unproductive. I am a NEW creature: never worn out, never loosing luster or value IN CHRIST.

Seeking FIRST The Kingdom of GOD means that I am seeking FIRST to be “IN CHRIST” and thereby seeking to be a NEW CREATURE at all times.

FIRST THE KINGDOM = I AM A NEW CREATURE

We can be a NEW CREATURE everyday, in every situation.

  13. 11Corinthians 5

16-20 Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.

    What if it is God?
We have to come together if the world sees us in disharmony or holding a grudge as children of God they will not come. They can find that life every where around them. We have to be different we must put aside our feelings we must love.
We must love with a real love. We must reach with a real compassion.
Because He has loved us why can’t we love one another? Why must we hold a grudge? Why can we not forgive? God loved us so much and how many times had He forgiven us .
The real test when you must continue in the work of the Kingdom we have to not judge those He is bringing in to the Kingdom. They will be different they will come with heavy baggage. They may not look good or smell good . There life will be a life of shambles. God help us to see and feel with your heart. If we don’t who will they call when they are in trouble. I’ve been recently reminded to keep pouring into who ever will listen don’t worry what anyone thinks just keep reaching. What if it is God Himself giving us s Test. Think about it the next time toubshy away from some one or do not acknowledge them or even share salvation with them.
    What if it is God?
Help me Lord where I have failed greatly to not be like You. We must love with a love that only You can give us. Father forgive me. In Jesus name

  14. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

We received the best of the trade – Jesus gave His life for us. He experienced the pain of humiliation, and suffering yet He willing laid down His life that we would have the opportunity to life for Him. I imagine in His mind He thought in giving the ultimate sacrifice His people that He created would appreciate what He had done for them, and surely they would choose a relationship with Him. Yet we find so many things to put before that relationship; our jobs, our families, our activities, our money, our possessions.

What a way to thank our King for His sacrifice. I know many times I have done something for people and the thanks and appreciation that I expected was not there and in my mind I think that’s the last time I’m doing something for you. Not God, He still reaches out to us everyday with His grace and mercy. Loving Jesus with all our hearts, giving of ourselves everyday in actively seeking the lost and discipling them, living a holy and righteous life is the best payment we can give to the One who gave everything.

  15. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    Old is now new.

A transformation takes place when we receive the Holy Ghost and make up in our minds to serve God. Old thoughts and feelings are no longer, the Spirit of God shines forth through us. We are alive in Him and Him alone. By His saving power we are renewed to the way that it was as with Adam. We walk with God, we communicate with God, we have a relationship with Him. Wow the power of Love.

  16. “And the One who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment. So, we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight, and we are confident and satisfied to be out of the body and at home with the Lord. Therefore, whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing to Him.”
    2 Corinthians 5:5‭-‬9 HCSB

The Lord gave us His Spirit as a down payment of our promise of eternal life with Him. We can be confident, no matter what we go through in this body, that His promise is true because we have His Spirit alive within us. Moreover, having tasted eternity through His Spirit, we are not afraid of death but are content to die, knowing that we shall be with Him. Because He has delivered us from the fear of death, we can freely do what pleases Him in every situation without regard to the harm that may come to us through the wrath of ungodly men. Through the Holy Ghost, we can have the confidence and power to both live and die for Jesus Christ. The enemy can no longer bend us to his will by threatening us with death.

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
    Hebrews 2:14‭-‬15 KJV

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
    Philippians 1:21 KJV

  17. When we consider the life of consecration we live, those in the world are always asking why we’d choose to do so. Our answer can mirror Paul’s: ‘For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him.’

We don’t live our lives to be accepted by the world but to be pleasing unto him! We truly believe ‘And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ…’ We were lost and he paid the price to truly set us free! We are reconciled unto God and want to remain in his good pleasure in everything we do!

He doesn’t do this so we can just sit back and wait for his glory to appear however. He ‘…hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself… Now then we are ambassadors for Christ’! We’ve been given the opportunity to represent God to the world! Not how we would’ve chosen to live before, but how he would choose us to live that our light would shine in his purity and strength!

  18. 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

To be present in this carnal body is to be absent from the Lord and to be present with the Lord is to be absent from this body. Death to flesh is life everlasting!!! When you know you are right with God the fear of death or any fear has no room. Christ is the reconciliation and only salvation for men kind! Thank you Jesus for your Precious Blood shed for each and every single one of us!!!

  19. And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    2 Corinthians 5:15‭-‬17 KJV

God does t see the world. out, age withered body that we are in, he sees the young spirit, that loves to praise, that loves him and is thankful for all that he does for us! Thank you Jesus for a new life, New Grace , New mercy everyday!

  22. AMBASSADORSHIP:

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. am·bas·sa·dor
    /amˈbasədər/Submit
    noun
    1) an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country.
2)a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity.

As I was reading this Ambassadorship just stuck. We are Gods ambassadors. Why don’t we act that way then. I know for me it has been a spirit of. The fear of rejection has always been a struggle within me. I don’t know why it comes upon me; I do know that we are not given a spirit of fear; however we are given into boldness in Jesus name. Why then do we not go out in the boldness of Christ and act as the Ambassadors that God has made us. There is a NEWNESS of life granted from the ☝️true living God. I thank you Jesus for the NEWNESS of life and showing me that I need to step out in boldness and be that Ambassador for your Kingdom.

I bless you in the name of the Lord.

  23. Because we understand our faithful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others. God knows we are sincere, and I hope you know this, too. 2 Corinthians 5:11 NLT

  24. 2 Corinthians 5:15 & 18-20 (nlt)
    15) He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

    18) And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
    19) For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them.
    20) So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us, We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!

We no longer live for ourselves, but we live for Christ. First His Kingdom!
We are His ambassadors, His representatives.
He has commanded us to GO and teach and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  25. “But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God]. So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].”
    ‭‭2 CORINTHIANS‬ ‭5:18-21‬ ‭AMP‬‬

What a wonderful ministry God has given us. The ministry of reconciliation. By our example, our actions and our choice of words we encourage those around us to become Christian. A Christian must lead at all times. This is our ministry.

  26. 10 Sooner or later we’ll all have to face God, regardless of our conditions. We will appear before Christ and take what’s coming to us as a result of our actions, either good or bad.

Sometimes it seems too easy to forget what we are fighting for. We know that battle is not ours to fight but we get caught up in the moments and fight anyway. We get wounded in a battle that we had no business being in; in the first place. Do we allow our passion to overtake our good judgement or is it our perceived ownership of the gift of salvation we are trying to force on people? Then we blame God for our wounds and battle scars.

Anyone who has ever invited more than 10 people to church has heard excuses. But First seems to always be the root to most reasons. I am excited to learn more about But First The Kingdom.

  27. Thats why the world looks at us different , “I am a friend of God” A new creature . I would like to let every one know the Good news .

  28. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Have you ever had a moment in your life, and you wanted to do something so bad, but you weren’t able to. Only later to find out if you would have done what you originally wanted to do would have ended negatively for you.

As leaders and even followers of Christ, there are some things we refrain from. And we will appear before Him, and be held accountable for all that we did or didn’t do.

When we stand before Him, everything we wanted to do but knew we shouldn’t is going to be known. And are we going to have to answer for choosing to do them anyway, or be grateful we had enough sense to say “no”, and stay on the KINGDOM FIRST path?

“BUT FIRST” before we make a choice we pray, and consider the Lord’s Will and Desire!

  29. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Doesn’t matter how great or awesome we may think that we are, there will come a day where allllll that awesomeness will not help us. But GOD that sees allll things will have the final word on where our eternal destination will be……. so all the shine that we think that we sprinkle becomes dust. Always making sure that any shine comes from and exalts JESUS and not ourselves

  30. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

To be an ambassador, you must completely, without a doubt represent, portray , live what your are presenting to others. There is no room for the self to be shone when you are showing Jesus to ask that will see.

  31. 2Corinthians 5
    17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    21) For he hath made him sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

  32. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Paul again addresses the fact that we will all be judged at the judgment seat of Christ as in ICor 3. [1Co 3:13-14 KJV] 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
Verse 11 uses the Greek word phobos for terror and it is defined as fear, dread or terror. One commentator said it meant because we have been delivered from the terror of the Lord, we persuade men so they can be delivered from the terror of the Lord. One thing is certain, we could all stand a renewing of the fear of the Lord and a passion to persuade men to turn to God!

  33. While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.
    2 Corinthians 5:4‭-‬5 NLT

What a promise! This old body will be exchanged for a new glorious vessel. That’s almost unfathomable. 😍😍 Thank you, Jesus. Not only every aspect of this life, but every aspect of Eternity You thought up and already have planned out.

  34. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

  35. 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
God is a spirit. He never changes but He does reveal different aspects of Himself to mankind. He is our Savior, Creater, Lord, King, Prince Peace, Everlasting Father, and more. God can fulfill many roles but He is still one God. God can manifest or reveal Himself in many ways but He is still one. When the Bible says the Father it is simply a role God played. When it says Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost it is simply the spirit of God. These terms are used interchangable. When the Bible says the Son it is simply a manifestation of God and a role that God was fulfilling. When Jesus was born He was called Immanuel which means God with us. The Bible says Jesus is the image of God. God is spirit and can fulfill roles and manifest Himself but He is still one God.

  36. 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Even though God does not change, it is change that he brings to us. To be made more like him. To constantly grown in knowing Him. To mature. To be new. The old man dies and a new man in Christ is born and the change begins.

  37. 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Jesus died that we may be forgiven of our sins. No amount of animal sacrifices could take the place of the sacrifice Jesus did with shedding his blood for all to be reconciled. He took our place and paid the price for our sins. Sin separates us from him and like the veil torn after his death, he opened our access to him. We can come to him anytime and repent of sin and receive forgiveness.

  38. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him , Verily, verily, I say unto thee,Except a man be born again, , he cannot see the kingdom Vkof God.

  39. “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!(‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Now that we know of the goodness of Jesus, we can come to him and he will receive us with open arms. When we repent of our sins, turn from wickedness and into his marvelous light. It changes us, the light reveals the spots in us that need cleansing. We become new people a new creation in Him. When people see us they should see Jesus in us, instead of who we used to be.

  40. “Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:6-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There are many things that we have to walk through by faith because the eyes deceive. Here in this verse it lends itself to we are always walking by faith because we are not with God and that would be the only way we could walk by sight.

  41. To become new in Christ, you must get rid of the old things. Jesus will give you a new life if you are willing to submit to his word. The life that Christ gives is better than any life we can make for ourselves.

  42. 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

One step is not necessarily considered walking but to take multiple steps is “walking” The cool things about walking is that when doing it you never have more than one foot off the ground at the same time.

    1. Our “walk of faith” is not one moment or opportunity that we stepped into the miraculous but it is a constant stepping into the supernatural as we stay in connection with God. Each time we step out on faith it grows us and enlarges the borders of our mind to believe for even more.

    2. When walking by faith you are never floating in thin air. When stepping one foot is always on the ground while the other foot is in motion. When God tells us to move there is always s foot standing on His Word and the other is moving forward in the direction He has spoken.

  43. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
    II Corinthians 5:17‭-‬19 NKJV

  44. 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

What a perfect verse for backsliders. We speak to them telling them, “God wants you back, come back to him.” We must continue to reach out to everyone, and let them know, God wants them.
