Galatians 5

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

  1. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

The holy Sprint in us live out the new life by the power of the same Sprint.the law never could give life ,and was never intended to be the Christian’s rule of life .

    A.L.M.A.S.

  2. Verse 1 MSG “Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.” Same verse ERV “We have freedom now, because Christ made us free. So stand strong in that freedom. Don’t go back into slavery again.” We must walk by the Spirit as verses 4-5 NLT state “For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us.”

Verses 25-26 MSG “Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original.” Same verses VOICE “Now since we have chosen to walk with the Spirit, let’s keep each step in perfect sync with God’s Spirit. This will happen when we set aside our self-interests and work together to create true community instead of a culture consumed by provocation, pride, and envy.”

  3. 16. So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

    24. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.

    25. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. NLT

  4. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law

The entire summation of the word of God can be seen in there few verses. Follow the Spirit of the living God inside of you. Being led of the spirit is what keeps us on track and closer to Christ. We no longer have to live by the set of rules meant to keep his children pure but rather we can follow and draw near Christ allow him to lead us to Holiness

  5. Galatians 5
What wonderful promises given here. We can leave the old life of this world and be given something totally opposite. Cultivating the promises given called the fruit of the spirit. They can grow if we allow the fertilizer of the Spirit of God to operate within our life . Old to new . Darkness to Light .
And then summed up by this scripture.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

    LOVE . LOve made a way……………

  6. Galatians 6 : 22-23 (Amp) But the fruit of the Holy Spirit [ the work which His presence within accomplishes) is love, joy, gladness, peace, patience, an even temper, for-bearance, kindness, goodness , ( benevolence), faithfulness.
[23] Gentleness ( meekness, humility,) self- control [ self restraint, continence], Against such things there is no law [ that can bring a charge].For the desires of the flesh are opposed to the Holy Spirit. And the desires of the Holy Spirit are opposed to the fleshly desires. Lord help us be better Christian’s. And be more like you everyday of our lives. I want more of you!

  7. “I’ll say it again. If you are trying to find favor with God by being circumcised, you must obey every regulation in the whole law of Moses. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.”
    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This is the same concept of “once saved always saved”. It’s our job to show people the truth on this, pull out your bible and pull up John 3:5, 3:6.
To me I would feel so selfish if there’s a hungry soul standing right in front of me and I had the answers. Let’s take advantage of the time of the year when people are accepting the word of God more than often due to the season. Let’s share truth, one God, one faith, one baptism.
Let’s Go put the Kingdom first in Jesus name today.

  8. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

The one thing that we as believers have to make sure of, is that we have to choose whom we are going to serve. Scripture tells us that if we walk after the flesh then we are going to reap sin and if we walk after the spirit we will reap righteousness. We are going to have to choose what is most important to us. We will not be able to serve the flesh and serve God. No man will not be able to serve two masters. I choose Jesus!!!!!

I Kings 18 states the prophet Elijah talking to the children of Israel-

21And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word

We have been halt between trying to serve God and serving the world. Remember that the creator is very jealous of the creation. In order to be successful in this world is to put first the kingdom and all the things we need will be given to us. First the kingdom will be our purpose in the coming months to keep having revival.

    I love the Kingdom!!!

  9. The proof is in the pudding?

I don’t exactly know what that means but ….

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

As believers we are careful to do as we preach and walk as we talk. The example of what we actually do is essential to the new believer. Not only to the new believer but also to our children and family members that are watching us and evaluating the truth through our walk. No one comes to the father unless the spirt draws him…. this means if we are not walking in the spirit our testimony is void. The reach of our evangelism is cut off and we are useless to the Kingdom. Walking in the spirit and guarding your testimony will position you for a revival first in yourself and when you link up with others doing the same the multiplication of His Kingdom begins.

    First the Kingdom in me

  10. 8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.

9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

  11. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

    What are you feeding?

This could seem like an odd question, but I heard something recently, and I don’t remember the exact words but it was something along the lines of, “The more you feed into something, the more it will come after you, but if you starve it, it will eventually leave you alone.”

My point is, if we entertain the things of the flesh, we will be continually feeding into the flesh and it will soon be what is controlling us. But it goes both ways, if we starve the flesh and do the works of the Spirit, we will be feeding into the Spirit and therefore be led by the Spirit.

    So what are you feeding?

“For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  12. iLove the Kingdom

3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

This is what makes following parts of the Old Testament law dangerous. The Word encourages us to be free from the bondage of the Old Testament rules and regulations. ‘Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days’ Colossians 2:14.

This included the law that folks had to be circumcised. It also included the Jewish dietary law. (Folks, that’s why you are able to put pork on your fork). Paul is encouraging the Gentile believers to continue in faith and to not listen to the Jewish sect of believers who are trying to put them in bondage through the teaching of the law of Moses.

  13. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

It’s one or the other. Just like you can only serve one master, you can only walk one side of the fence. Walk in the Spirit, eyes on the Kingdom, heart set on Him and winning the lost.

  14. Deny ourselfs , and take up his cross, by the holy spirit we can overcome what flesh desires .. Our sinful nature. With sufficient Grace Faith we have confidence in our God
16 This i say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

  16. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    KEEP RUNNING WITH JESUS

7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

When I was younger, there was a popular phrase around here that we heard that would identify our affinities or groups that we associated with. The phrase was “they run with the ropers (cowboys) or they run with the nerds (bookworms) also there several other groups, but you get the idea. I pray that it can be said of us today that “they run with JESUS”.

I believe this to be theme of this letter; with statements such as verse 7 and also verse:

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

We all know we must walk before we can run. It seems as if the apostle is identifying the source of hindrance here. If we live in and walk in the SPIRIT, it is revealed as we “Seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD”.

Seeking FIRST The Kingdom of GOD means that no-one can hinder because we are led by the Holy Spirit of GOD.

The apostle gives us a gauge of our walk to examine ourselves and the dynamic contrast reveals who we run with:

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Works of flesh vs Fruit of SPIRIT

Our attitude and actions reveal to GOD, self and others who we “run with”.

KEEP RUNNING WITH JESUS and no one can hinder (slow, impede, obstruct or stop) you.

  17. 19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,

Once while teaching preschool a child had brought me an apple, not sure why other than the kindness of their heart. As the morning continued another child noticed the apple, and was quite intrigued. I mentioned to leave the apple alone and return to his center. It took multiple reminders to leave the apple alone. When getting ready for lunch, I picked up the apple and noticed a bite out of it.

The child that was so intrigued, although adorable was missing his front two teeth. The bite on the apple was missing the front two teeth in the bite as well. I called the child over and asked if he had taken a bite out of the apple, he denies it. I show him the missing front teeth in the bite match his missing front teeth. He laughs and says well yeah maybe.

I as the teacher looking at the apple knew without a doubt in my mind which child had taken a bite. The results were clear.

I believe that God looks at us the same way, as we are His children. When we look intrigued to sin, touch sin, and desire it, the results are very clear.

We can’t deny it, and we can’t hide it.

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness

The results are clear regardless, we can desire the sinful nature or the Holy Spirit. Our fruits will be evidence of what we desire.

  18. 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

We have been liberated from sin-the world-type of Babylon, yet it is so easy for some to pick back up things that they enjoyed in the world We are clearly instructed to flee the very appearance of evil.

It becomes a dangerous situation when we go back to things of the world 1) it’s like throwing Gods grace and mercy back at Him. 2) it’s telling Him that Calvary was for not and that although He gave the ultimate sacrifice that we can live the easy way without any boundaries and everything will be ok.

I don’t believe that will work. The Bible clearly instructs is to come out from the world and be separate. Separation can not happen without letting some things behind.

What in this world is worth losing our soul over?

  19. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

“But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” Romans 7:23

We live in the body of flesh and will have to daily decide whether the flesh of the Spirit will rule us. The flesh naturally wants the things of this world-carnal desires but the Spirit in us desires the things of Heaven and must use our minds to decide which road to go down…the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. We must have a made up mind as to what rules us each day so beginning our day with the word (blog) and with prayer is the best start to overcome this flesh.

  20. Galatians 5:13-14 (voice)
    13) Brothers and sisters, God has called you to freedom! Hear the call, and do not spoil this gift by using your liberty to engage in what your flesh desires; instead, use it to serve each other as Jesus taught through love.
    14) For the whole law comes down to this one instruction: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

This freedom and liberty that we have from God is not to be used for fleshly desires, but to be used to serve others through love.

  21. For [if we are] in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but only faith activated and expressed and working through love.

For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another. For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].”
    GALATIANS 5:6‭, ‬13‭-‬14 AMP

Jesus set us free from attempting to earn righteousness by fulfilling the rules and regulations of the law. Notwithstanding, He wrote the Spirit of the law of righteousness on our hearts when He baptized us with His Spirit: “…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us,” (Romans 5:5 KJV). Now, we are expected to live by and manifest that love.

Our old life was dominated by the works of the flesh, which centered around self. Our new life, if indeed we are truly His disciples, should be centered around loving God by loving others. “If a man say, I love God, and hateth [worketh against] his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” (1 John 4:20 KJV). The Message Bible puts verses 20-21 this way:
“If anyone boasts, “I love God,” and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won’t love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can’t see? The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God includes loving people. You’ve got to love both.”

When we live by the Law of Love, we manifest faith, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance, peace, etc. However, when we live by the law of selfishness, we manifest fornication, adultery, hatred, drunkenness, strife, etc., without regard to how our actions work against the good of others. Thus, how we live reveals who we love. We cannot love God if we live with a callous disregard for others.

Finally, faith works by love. Simply put, we don’t have saving faith if we are not expressing God’s love. Love gives us the faith to witness, to lay hands on the sick, to face persecution, to speak the truth, to endure suffering, to give sacrificially, and so much more. Love puts the joy in serving others. Love crucifies the flesh, with the affections and lusts thereof. When we have love, we don’t need to live by the law, because love, itself, fulfills all law and reflects the glory of the God who saved us.

“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:”
    1 Timothy 1:5 KJV

  22. Paul’s words here are a clear path to success in our walk with God. ‘This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.’

Most people would expect to end up where they’re being led to, yet so many want to make it to heaven and still be led by the desires of their flesh. Paul agrees with the rest of biblical testimony when he declares these are contrary to one another. That’s why we need the be led of the Spirit! It is the truth that sets us free and his spirit will lead us and guide us into all truth. It will never lead us astray and will even provide us the strength we need to stay on the path we desire despite the weakness of our flesh. All we have to do is faithfully follow in the footsteps of his spirit and be in the habit of doing so every day! In Jesus name!

  23. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

We must be team players. We are all on the same road going towards Heaven. Let’s help one another and not against each other. If we will have his kingdom first then our relationships will become second and that’s the flow of the Spirit.

  24. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Everything we do should be for the glory of God and not ourselves. With some being competitive is in our nature,”flesh”, and some try to one-up others but that’s not why we do what we do for church and ministry! We are to be humble and share the gospel and glorify the works God is doing! We are vessels and are able to do great things because God has given us that gift for our obedience. Do not be jealous or envious of a fellow brother or sister because they did something and did it well! They have put in the work are are reaping the benefits of the seeds they have sown! They put their faith and hands to work! “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Again we are to uplift and encourage one another, develop and enhance one another not be jealous or envious! Sometimes we gotta check ourselves and give praise to where it is due. First The Kingdom! We are the body and work as one, one part can’t function correctly without you and what you bring to the body! Be blessed and encouraged and a Big THANK YOU to all the time and work every one puts into our body here at POFW!

  25. 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

  26. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Amen the only one that made us free is Jesus Christ. Jesus you have restored me and made me new for that I am thankful!!! I wouldn’t be who I am now if it wasn’t for you Jesus!!!

  27. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
to walk in the spirit it isn’t meaning you are walking eyes closed and just floating in air but it is walking after the thing of God.
what are you chasing or after? because if you are thinking on God and his word you will go after righteousness but if you are thinking bad thoughts listening to music that isn’t good it will turn your mind to evil and what you hear will become your actions if you don’t clean it out.
when we walk in the spirit we walk and act differently than other people.
we must ask our self how am I acting? is it lining up to Gods word or this world. when we line it up to his word and we are focused on doing right we wont fulfill the lust of the flesh.

  28. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

  29. [Gal 5:16-17 NLT] 16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

The struggle is real- the struggle between flesh and Spirit is a constant battle! These two natures oppose each other so they cannot coexist! When we give in to the flesh, the following happens: [Gal 5:19-21 NLT] 19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Yet, the rewards of being led by God are 9 fold. One Spirit produces 9 fruits or benefits. [Gal 5:22-23 NLT] 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

  30. nd they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

  31. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Our actions should portray a Holy Christian who is separated from things of this world and it’s sin, but is dedicated to the things of God and walks in the Spirit.

  32. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

It’s a matter of love. However one cannot love if we first not find Love himself God. We must love him.first for this also we are commanded and then love ourselves then others.

I’m reminded of how the Word says to the church in ephesus that you have left your First Love. The first love must be that which belongs to God. First Him is the order of life then every single thing follows.

  33. 25 Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives.

We know the walk in his spirit and the way to talk about his word but the different is knowing and doing it in our lives. We are all Gods children but the thing that separates us from this world is his spirit in us and the path we take to reach him more than this world. The detail God has put in our lives is the detail we need to put in our walk with him.

  34. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

If we all loved our neighbor as ourself we would be able to reach the harvest, God help us walk in the Spirit daily I pray.

  35. “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”
    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Free
Yes we are free, but that freedom is not to do what we want. We aren’t just to become lovers of self and seek after self promotion. We are to be free from sin and death. We are to be free to love Christ and to show his love. We must ensure that while we live out our freedom we are still considering whose kingdom it will build before seeking after what we want.

  36. For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.
    Galatians 5:13 NLT

To be free of the almost oppressive stance of the old law where Paul likens it to being in bondage. That’s what CHRIST has done. He has freed us to live a lifestyle that can glorify Him, but without the scrutiny of such harsh rules. He has called us to walk in the Spirit and live a life of love. What a great exchange.

  37. 16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

With the Holy Spirit within you, you’ll want to do good at all times. Your behavior and actions will show, and others will notice something different about you. Your sinful nature will go away, and you won’t even realize it.

  38. “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.”
    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:13-15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God has called us to be like Him. He was selfless and looking out for others best interest. Kingdom minded people are selfless and serve others. Working together to accomplish one mission.

  39. 6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

That is why the great of these is charity. Because faith works by Love. A car works by gas, if there be no gas, how could it work? I would assume the same applies to faith. So may charity grow and increase in me.

  40. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
I love you god you are awesome and great

  41. 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

It’s kind of funny to me how we gauge or judge people by their sin. The way I see it, lying is the same as being envious is the same as murdering someone.
