Ephesians 1

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

  1. Verses 11-12 MSG “It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.” Same verses NLT “Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God,[c] for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.” Sometimes we may not see the big picture; but, trust in the Lord for He already has everything in place for His plan/will to take place.

  2. ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭
    “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”

    Great God of wonders! All thy ways Display thine attributes divine; But the bright glories of thy grace Above thine other wonders shine; Who is a pard’ning God like thee? Or who has grace so rich and free?

  3. Christ also brought you the truth, which is the good news about how you can be saved. You put your faith in Christ and were given the promised Holy Spirit to show you belong to God. The Spirit also makes us sure we will be given what God has stored up for his people. Then we will be set free, and God will be honored and praised. I ask the glorious Father and God of our Lord Jesus Christ to give you his Spirit. The Spirit will make you wise and let you understand what it means to know God.
    Ephesians 1:13‭-‬14‭, ‬17 CEV

    Thank you Jesus!!! I am adopted by you and sealed with The Holy Spirit!! The things of this world cam bring or give me life and a hope of eternal life with you💖 i have found life, and have found it more abundantly in you!!!
    All glory and honor unto you!!!!

  4. Many believers struggle to make ends meet and seek to be blessed in this world, but they can be assured from verse 2 that their blessing await them once they cross the vail. We should remain thankful of the written word, which verse 18 shows us that the Lord has revealed his mysteries to enlighten are understanding.

  5. 13. And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.

    14. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him. NLT

    With all the ‘self-identification’ going on these days, where anyone can claim to be anything they’re not, it’s good to know that we don’t have to self-identify, we have been God-identified as Children of the King!

  6. 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: (KJV)

    4Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (NLT)

    Scripture telling us that even before the world was made God love us that we ought to be without sin or blame. We find that in verse 6

    6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

    We find that when the God of glory began to manifest us from the dust of the world he already wanted us to be perfect like him. But with the introduction of sin with man, he God became the next best thing. He became the sacrificial lamb that allowed us to become free of sin and behold his in merited favor of grace. And on top of grace he showed us mercy. He also gave us a place to approach to find more grace in everything that encounter whether good or bad. I am going to praise him not because I need to be made but because he first loved me and he allowed me to have grace that is abundantly a fresh each morning. Seek first the kingdom and we will find grace.

    I live the kingdom!!!

  7. 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

    We have been blessed with the knowledge an opportunity to draw closer to God everyday and it is become our responsibility to share this truth with other people. It is the cure to the most deadliest of diseases which every man faces and it should be used wisely at every opportunity to spread the word about. It’s part of being in the kingdom of God is sharing the gospel which is the very true nature of God

  8. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

  9. “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    I am a child of God
    It is God’s purpose, will, or predestination that we become his child because his glory and grace shine though our lives. He planned for us to be his children. (Those who are lost and go to hell were not planned to be many, that is why he’ll has to be enlarged, it wasn’t the plan). We should be coming to him and our friends and families too. The reason he had to adopt us is because we are from this world (born in sin and shaken in iniquity) but his blood paid the price not only for our freedom, but also for our adoption.

    When a child is adopted the parents or responsible party have to sign over all legal rights. They are no longer in charge. Satan has only the influence you allow. Also, here in earth adopted children have more legal rights than birth children.

  10. Ephesians 1
    15-19 That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks. But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!

    Serving God should not be filled with frustration. The ability to lead is not about beating down an individual but lifting them up. Paul equips both leaders and followers in this letter. Paul continues to encourage. He is teaching how to stay close to God. His letters are consistent and filled with advice. If he had had a cell phone it would have been blowing up continuously with communication.
    How encourageing he continues to admonish we should know Jesus in a way that we ourself could focus and hear God just as he did. When we grasp the true love that God has His love . The energy cannot come from any where or anyone else but Christ Himself. So as we wait for replies of encouragement from the natural side of life from peers from leadership remember what Paul is teaching here. Take in what God has done for your life. How He turned it around . People will fail but God is always right there empowering you to continue. Wait upon God stay plugged in to this wonderful power source . Keep up your faith seek ways that you know will keep your spiritual strength in check. My mind goes to a baby who when first is born had to have a bottle held for him. Then before you know it he is holding the bottle himself then before you know it he is now drinking from a glass and soon will eat on his own. We are like this when we first come to Christ. God offers such a beautiful meal and as you grow in Christ you must choose to eat to take in the nourishment through the word through prayer through sharing your testimony with others . Simple . Fellowship in the house of God encourageing one another building up the temple and knowing the strength that God has placed in you.
    How beautiful again I must repeat the scriptures

    Ephesians 1:
    grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!

  11. iLove the Kingdom

    17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
    18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
    19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power

    The context of this verse comes from verse:16 where Paul declares the church was in his prayers. Then he continues with the prayer in verses 17,18, and 19. Paul is wanting the church to be enlightened and understand what God has for his people. God wants us to understand our calling and also the power (in God) that we possess. Jesus, open our hearts and let us get this revelation.

  12. 18-19 I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! (MSG)

    We are called and filled and I pray God gives us all clear direction and vision as we seek First His Kingdom!

  13. By His Love

    4 Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.

    I don’t think there’s any word in the English language that’s been stripped of its true meaning than the word love. Due to the entertainment and social media industries, we tend to use the word interchangeably in the same way we now refer to food, music, art, whatever. I believe the problem we face is not that people ignore God’s love; rather, people separate His love from His other attributes. We cannot choose to ignore God’s sovereignty, holiness, or justice. “But my God is love”—as if God’s love is incompatible with justice, sovereignty, or holiness.

    A god stripped of justice, holiness, sovereignty, and the rest is a statue, trinket or figurine. We must be careful not to substitute The God with a god that better fits our feeble attempt to mold His love into our lives. Rather, we need to mold our lives into The Gods design for our lives. As verse 4 states; “to be made whole and holy by his love”. His love contains all the attributes of God.

    He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Duet 32:4

  14. Ephesians 1: 22-23 (Amp) And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [ a headship exercised throughout the church]. [23] Which is His body , the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [ for in the body lives the full measure of Him, Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself. [ Ps.8:6] You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; feet. Let’s all get a revelation and be inlighted by his word and to seek him first . In Jesus name.

  15. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
    4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
    5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

    He knew me before I ever knew him and he had a plan for my life that he was waiting on to happen…the same for us all. It is his will that we come to him, learn his ways, serve him and make heaven our home. He knows what he can do in each of our lives to bring holiness and happiness and waits on us to be willing and submitted. Once we are, he waits on us to reach to another so they can receive their inheritance too. It’s not his will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

  16. 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

    11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

    12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. J.soliz

  18. AMP – To the [a]saints (God’s people) [b]who are at Ephesus and are faithful and loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

    3 [c]Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ, 4 just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight

    Purpose Driven – to be driven by God’s purpose not our own. Each day we have to wake up and choose what is our purpose today, what would God have me to do. Seeking Him to find that daily purpose brings real meaning and joy to our lives. Life becomes routine and mundane just going through the motions of daily life, but fulfilling His purpose each day in us brings about a feeling that is indescribable.

    My desire in seeking FIRST the KINGDOM is to find His purpose/will each day and accomplish it. SEEK ye FIRST the KINGDOM of GOD, and all these things shall be added unto you.

  19. That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks.
    Ephesians 1:15‭-‬19 MSG

    No Coffee Necessary
    Paul says that when we have a laser focus on Jesus and abide in and by His Will it grants is an intelligence and discernment that is unmatched by the world. Endless energy and boundless strength. Why? How? Because when we focus on Jesus all that we are and all that we get is from Jesus. Our prayer and seeking of Him, reading His Word, working in His Kingdom, loving others, putting none before God. These things open up channels for us to do mighty things in His name.

  20. 17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

    18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

    This is something that I pray before our church services. We need the word of God to fall on good ground within the lives that come. It’s important that each life in the service receive revelation and walk in the wisdom of the word that they received.

  21. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
    Ephesians 1:3 NLT

    I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,
    Ephesians 1:16 NLT

    First, Paul gives us a list of the blessings available to us through our Lord Jesus Christ:
    * Unity with Christ
    * The love of God
    * The predestined calling of the church
    * The means to be holy and without fault
    * Adoption as sons of God (the Wuest Expanded Translation says He “marked us out to be placed as adult sons.” This is important because children, though heirs, had only the rights of a servant. Adult sons, however, have the full authority, power, and resources of the inheritance.)
    * Grace
    * Acceptance
    * Redemption
    * Forgiveness of sins
    * Wisdom and understanding
    * The knowledge of His will and Gospel of salvation for the Gentiles as well as the Jews
    * An everlasting spiritual inheritance, as guaranteed by the down payment of the Holy Ghost

    Then, Paul prays that God will give his readers the following:
    * The spirit of wisdom and revelation (insight to grow [NLT]) in the knowledge of God
    * The enlightening of the understanding (the perception of the mind [HCSB]) to know the hope of our calling and the riches of our inheritance (the NLT says, “that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.”)
    * The understanding of the exceeding (immeasurable) greatness of God’s power to us-ward, the same power that raised Christ from the dead and put all things under His feet (God has extended that great power toward us.)

    So, Paul first tells us what God has given us; then, he prays that we will have an understanding of those gifts. This is because until we truly understand who we are and what we have, we will live beneath our means and potential. As Pastor said last night, to fulfill the appointed will of God (the expected end) for us, we need to seek the face of God. We must acquire a complete understanding of who He is and who we are in Him. For, the use of every spiritual resource is available to us once we become enlightened to the power and purpose of our calling as the adult sons of God.

    • Sorry for the long discourse, but I can’t get past this idea of sonship and inheritance, and how it plays out in the parable of the prodigal son.

      The younger brother knew he had come of age to inherit. He understood his rights of sonship and his authority as an heir. He knew he had the right to claim and to use his inheritance. So he demanded it, and it was given to him without argument. Though he squandered it, it didn’t change the fact that he knew who he was and what he had.

      On the other hand, the elder son never grasped what he had simply by right of sonship. He spent his life working and toiling for his inheritance. He had no compassion toward his fallen brother and it appears no gratitude toward his father. Instead of being grateful for all he had, he complains about the father’s treatment of him. The father’s response was “all I have is yours.”

      This son was so busy laboring for what he already had that he completely missed out on the benefits of sonship. He worked and worked and worked for the right to one day receive an inheritance that was right then already his. He knew that the father had great substance, but he never understood that he had the right to use and enjoy all that the father had provided. Like this son, we need to stop trying to earn or to be worthy of the inheritance that we hope to one day receive (not of works, lest any man should boast) and start putting it to use right now for the Kingdom of God.

      May God enlighten our understanding that we might truly know who we are, what we have, and what we ought to be doing with it; and may He give us a paradigm shift into the boldness of sonship, in Jesus name.

  22. 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

    5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

    6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

    God chose us, predestinated us, saved us, accepted us, and separated us, all out of His love for us. So we should live for Him out of our love for Him. If we dress holy but it does not come from our love for Him then it is just a front we are putting on. If we appear to be living righteously but it does not come out of a love for Him, then it’s really just a show we are putting on. When we praise and worship Him, it should be coming out of place of love and not obligation.

    Living holy and righteous is how we put our love into action, but only if it’s coming out of the sincerity of our heart.

    God’s love is what set the foundation for us to live for Him. We should build on that foundation with our love.

    • “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.”
      ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  23. “And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.”
    ‭‭-Ephesians‬ ‭1:22-23 ESV

    We, the church, are the body of Jesus Christ. Anything that comes against us is under our feet and we have victory!

  24. 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

    23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

    God wants us to give all of our praise. Thank you Jesus.

  25. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    THE BLESSED LIFE

    3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

    Most children are BLESSED with the benefits of their home; meaning family residence their caregivers. An encouragement for me in life, has been regardless of challenging the times may have been for me, I could always find someone that had a worse situation or set of circumstances. This fact has been frequent motivation for thanksgiving. Growing up in a lower income community allowed me to see what life is like to operate in the parameters of restrictions of resources and time with loved ones. Being raised in a single parent home, my mother would be required to work between 2 and 4 evenings per week, meaning that my sister and I didn’t get much time with her. We did our best with what we had. We understood that her limited income was a challenge in itself to spread food on the table, clothes on our back and a roof over our head. We learned to be thankful and content.

    I remember visiting some friends houses, whose parents were both employed with professional positions and living in new homes with game rooms. It was challenging for me to relate to how they lived.

    A similar condition can happen Spiritually in the House of GOD. JESUS calls us out of the world of darkness and iniquity to LIVE in HIS Kingdom and serve in HIS House and for many it is challenging to grasp how we can live above reproach and spiritually victorious.

    However, the apostle pens words of clarity for us regarding the promises and provision of our Lord and Savior JESUS

    He has BLESSED us

    BLESSED – 2127. eulogeo; to speak well of, i.e. (religiously) to bless (thank or invoke a benediction upon, prosper): — bless, praise.

    with

    SPIRITUAL – 4152. pneumatikos; non-carnal, i.e. (humanly) ethereal (as opposed to gross), or (daemoniacally) a spirit (concretely), or (divinely) supernatural, regenerate, religious: — spiritual.

    BLESSINGS – 2129. eulogia; from the same as 2127; fine speaking, i.e. elegance of language; commendation (“eulogy”), i.e. (reverentially) adoration; religiously, benediction; by implication, consecration; by extension, benefit or largess: — blessing (a matter of) bounty (x -tifully), fair speech.

    in

    HEAVENLY PLACES – 2032. epouranios; above the sky: — celestial, (in) heaven(-ly), high.

    in

    CHRIST – 5547. Christos; from 5548; anointed, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus: — Christ.

    In other words as I SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM of GOD. I am BLESSED with supernatural resources to benefit and assist my efforts for HIS Kingdom. This is THE BLESSED LIFE possessing the Favor and Power of GOD.

  26. Ephesians 1:12-14 (nlt)
    12) God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.
    13) And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.
    14) The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

    God, I PRAISE and GLORIFY You for letting me hear the Truth, for saving me, for filling me with the gift of the Holy Ghost, and for making me Your own.

  27. 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

    Do you listen to God’s voice? Understand the hope of His calling? It’s important to be in prayer seeking God’s will.

  28. I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.
    Ephesians 1:16‭-‬20 NLT

    Paul’s burden for the churches he started or visited is evidenced by his constant praying for them. He prayed these three things for them:
    1. To give them spiritual wisdom and insight to know God better
    2. (I like the KJV explanation) That we would know the hope of our calling and how valuable our inheritance from God is
    3. That we know how great His power is toward us

    We should pray this way for all God’s people as well.

  29. 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of glory of His inheritance in the saints , and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.

  30. 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

    5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

    6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

  31. 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
    5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
    6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
    7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

    We are predestined to be with God. It is a matter , however, of us making the decision to be either Him. Since the beginning, we were suppose to be with God, yet when the fall of man happened, it severed our connection. But the reconnection is through the blood of Christ ,when it was shed for you and I on the cross. Redeemed by the blood and predestined to be with Him. All that we may be as one in His Kingdom.

  32. I Love To Worship The Lord
    vs-6
    Now all praise to God for his wonderful kindness to us and his favor that he has poured out upon us because we belong to him

  33. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
    We must always be thanking God.
    I believe Paul was acknowledging and thanking the God of glory but then taking it a step further that he is the Father and the Christ. John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
    It is one thing to acknowledge that he is the true God but to acknowledge that he his father takes it belong just God but a father takes care and leads provides. Always be thankful and trust Jesus Christ for he is good.

  34. Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

    21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

    22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

    23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

  35. Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

    NIV
    he[b] predestined us for adoption to sonship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—

    Gods plan was to adopt me. He knew I was going to have a void, a void that only He could fill. Yet without any grieve or excuse He did it with pleasure. He embraces us and blesses us as His children. I was an orphan but despite it all His mercy,grace, and kindness rescued me. He gave it all for us, so we could have salvation. Made me reflect….Do I find pleasure in what He tells me to do? Do I put my sacrifice in Him completely? Do I seek daily to do His will?!? As a child of God, I could say I don’t deserve nothing but because of His grace I am here!!! Because of His grace I am part of POFW, the place that God brought us to to change our lives for the best!!! Thank You Jesus!!! I can’t be ungrateful for what I don’t have but appreciate every blessing that God has given me.

  36. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
    Ephesians 1:13 NKJV

    The Word is what should lead people to God. The Word should be able to create trust enough to bring down walls and barriers.

  37. Ephesians 1
    1b) to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
    2) Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

  38. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

    5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

    6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. God I love you change me Amen
