2 Thessalonians 3

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

17 The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

  1. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    UNITY

13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Bishop Jack Cunningham has been speaking these words since we arrived in Thailand this year. UNITY, SUBMISSION, UNITY, SUBMISSION, UNITY. Which echos the words of the apostle here in 2 Thessalonians 3. We just concluded a lunch with the Thai UPCI General Board and again Bishop Cunningham shared this principal. “Submission is not possible until there is disagreement. To walk in agreement does not require submission. However to disagree and still walk for the Good of The Kingdom of GOD is SUBMISSION”

Here the apostle compels us to encourage ourselves in the work of GOD. Why? Because there will be those around us that will not be in agreement with and follow our agreement to labor together. The scripture says to leave them alone, do not make an enemy of them, just leave them alone, and recognize them as a fellow believer. This is the key to PEACE in times of carnal conflict.

Be prayerful about who you allow yourself to be associated with and connected to. At the mention of disobedience or even negative talk of Leadership. There should be an immediate separation from that individual lest their words spoil your FAITH.

SUBMISSION is the active demonstration of Holiness. It is impossible to be HOLY and not SUBMIT to Authority. Resistance, disobedience and rebellion are all sins and therefore makes the offender contaminated by sin and therefore unrighteous and not separate from this world.

To be HOLY is to protect UNITY in the bounds of the WORD of GOD.

  2. 16. Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

No one or no thing can give you real peace like the Lord of PEACE, aka the Prince of PEACE, aka the PEACE Speaker…

    Isaiah 9:
    6. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of PEACE.

    7. Of the increase of his government and PEACE there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Only Jesus can satisfy your soul
And only He can change your heart
    And make you whole;
He’ll give you PEACE you never knew
Sweet love and joy and Heaven too,
For only Jesus can satisfy your soul.

  3. Verse 3 AMP “But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one.” Verse 5 AMP “May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness and patience of Christ.” But the Lord…..will protect you, guard you, direct your heart and as verse 16 AMP says “Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all.” Know Him and you will know peace.

  4. 3:16
“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.”
    ‭‭
This verse has been called “a peaceful close to stormy Eoistle.” In it Paul prays that the suffering saints at Thessalonians may know the peace of the Lord of peace at all times and in every way.

The Christian is not dependent on anything in this world for his serenity. It is based entirely on the person and work of the Lord Jesus. The world cannot give or take it away. But we must appropriate it in all the circumstances of life. “ peas el is not cessation from persecution, but is the calm of heart that come from faith in God and that is independent of circumstances.”

I know that I need the Lord to direct my steps. Should I not allow God to direct me; it’s a long way down those spiral steps. That is a huge fall. I can’t look back: forward is all I see now. Onward and upward they always say. Once you hit the bottom; the only way to go is up with Christ in you. So how do I keep going and doing for the Kingdom; when there is so much the world offers. I have to tell myself: self where do you want to be. Famous in the world or eternal with the everlasting Father. What is more important to my soul. It has taken a while, but I get it now. Tge world only offers vanity and pride; where Jesus offers eternal life and peace in my mind and heart. Thank you Jesus for ordering my steps this very day.

Sometimes the Leaders could do what they need to do in a lazy manor, or they could even make an excuse or two why not to do this or that, because maybe they are tired, and they…Our Leaders at POFW are not like that, they are on top of their Jobs in their leadership from as big as the events to making sure everyone’s name tag is ready for the person on the day they serve, its examples like that, that literally keep POFW running smooth, we all are showing an example to the new believers that walk through those doors, and we dont DC o it to please MAN, ITS ABOUT KINGDOM WORK, those new believers they see what we do, they see How much Pastor and First Lady Work, and the follow suit, it’s all about Kingdom Work, it’s all about what Can I do for you JESUS, because You have done so much for us! And he says NORA LOVEST THOU ME! I DAY YES LORD, HE SAYS FEED MY SHEEP! It’s all about Putting the Kingdom First!

  7. Verse 3-4 Amp Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [ you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [ one].[4] And we have confidence in Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do the things which we suggest and with which we charge you. To know the Lord and do his will he will give you peace.
” First the Kingdom” Because he is the Prince of Peace and the Peace maker. I pray that the Lord will guard you and protect you and keep you safe.

  8. 13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

Such simple words with profound meaning.with the way things are going on in this world it’s just easier to follow the crowd and given. Well doing can be very exhausting most of the time because you’re going against the grain with much resistance. in the book of Galatians it tells us to be weary not in well-doing, because we will reap if we faint not. Paula saying the same thing here that we must stay on track and continue our well doing.

  9. 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Don’t follow the “normality” of the world.

  10. “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.”
    ‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:10-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This can mean so many different things. It could means physical labor. If you don’t work, you don’t earn money you don’t eat. It could mean working in the home. If you don’t work at Cooking you don’t eat. It could mean spiritually. If you don’t work at searching the scriptures you don’t eat.

    I. This day and age it’s extremely important spiritually. We must work at seeking God and consuming the word. We can’t stop or wear ourselves out. We must continue working at seeking after God as we will find him if we don’t stop.

  11. 1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

“The word of the Lord – namely, the gospel – may have free course; literally, may run; that all obstacles to its progress may be removed; that its diffusion may be free and unimpeded; that, like the sun, it may rejoice as a strong man to run his race”

When I read the above statement I thought about when I was in middle school and I ran track. My favorite part were hurdles. It’s one thing to run 50 yards against an opponent and win but a totally different level of accomplishment when hurdles are involved.

I remember once watching a guy run hurdles and he was so fast and graceful it was like he literally just walked right over them and this is what I see when I read this scripture.

While one earth there will always be obstacles to the word of God. Yet, we can pray that God would grow us to the point we walk over each one with ease and grace. Those around us will see it and know it was God.

  12. “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:”
    ‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:1

No matter the position you’re in prayer from anyone is prayer. I’ll receive prayer from anyone and so did Paul and the others. You can never have too much pride to receive prayer. So pray for your leaders they’ll appreciate it!

  13. 1Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

My prayer is that God would have my path cross others who need to hear about him. God direct our foot steps that we may be able to shine your light to someone in need. When the enemy comes against us, give us wisdom and strength to look to you because you are our Father. You have never left us because you love us. Let’s us put your Kingdom First, so that we may have the most impact to those around us. In Jesus name amen.

  14. 13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

Second time now. When we are doing well: obeying His word, staying faithful in our walk, doing His work, then we should have joy, peace, and strength. If you feel weary, its time to evaluate, time to recharge, time to reconnect because God is good, God is love, and His joy is my strength!

  15. 1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

Every time the word of God is preached, truth is spoken. But it is when we add our prayers, that revelation is given.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God has given us a promise that His word would not return void, but just as with many of God’s promisies, we must work towards it by adding our faith and prayers!

This is why it is so important that we cover our pastor in prayers as he preaches in Thailand!

  16. Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you.
    2 Thessalonians 3:1 NLT
It’s important to pray you don’t want to do anything that the Lord has not need you to do
We must keep our brothers and sisters cover by his blood by praying because Temptation can sneak up with no warning

  17. 2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Be not weary in well doing!

The apostle was serious about disassociate yourselves from people that walketh disorderly which means they live a life not in order of the Word of God.

Romans16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them.

Must keep the Unity in our church to have Revival that will impact our COFW

  18. 1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

HALELUJAH!!! WE PRAY FOR OUR PASTOR AND FIRST LADY, THAT THE WORD OF THE LORD MAY HAVE FREE COURSE AND THE LORD BE GLORIFIED
    IN JESUS NAME!!! AMEN!!!

  19. And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received from us. For you know that you ought to imitate us. We were not idle when we were with you.
    2 Thessalonians 3:6‭-‬7 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/2th.3.6-7.NLT

What can we do for the kingdom of God? The eleventh hour is growing closer and none of us can afford to just sit by and watch this world go to hell. There are Eternal consequences for us just sitting and and watching everything go by without us. There is work to be done and souls to be saved. let’s pick up our plows and Advance the kingdom of God

  20. In Jesus Name

    2 THESSALONIANS 2:13-17

As for us, we can’t help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation—a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth. He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. With all these things in mind, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you both in person and by letter. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.

This World will look at us different at times, im just not of it. I want to be able to lead hearts to Christ and allow God to use me in a unique way

  21. “And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both DO AND WILL DO the THINGS WHICH WE COMMAND YOU…

“Now WE COMMAND YOU, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us…

“Now them that are such WE COMMAND AND EXHORT by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread…

“And IF ANY MAN OBEY NOT our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.”
    2 Thessalonians 3:4‭, ‬‬6‭, ‬12‭, ‬14 KJV

There are too many people in this generation, and even in the House of God, bristling against authority, especially the authority of the Pastor. Not many pastors today have the boldness to stand before their congregations and command members to do certain things and not to do others. People would walk out of such a church, calling it a cult and accusing the pastor of being too controlling, overstepping his authority, a megalomaniac, or a narcissist.

Many “Christians” today want to hear ear-tickling, heart-lightening feel-good preaching, but they don’t want to be told what to do, how to act, or how to maintain an appropriate appearance. They want a pastor to serve their needs, but as a friend rather than an authority figure. They want a first-name buddy, and not a spiritual commander; and unfortunately, many pastors have acquiesced to this position.

However, Paul had no qualms about speaking with authority. He commanded preachers and whole congregations as a father commanded his children and as one who had oversight of them. He expected that they would submit to his authority and did not soften his tone in fear of offending anyone. He knew that he stood in God’s authority, and he commanded men and angels alike—expecting obedience. Those who would not be obedient (as in this chapter) were excommunicated from the flock. Paul knew that there is no room in the Kingdom for rebellion. Sadly, though many tout and twist his words, if Paul were alive today, they would not allow him to be their pastor.

As unpopular as this truth might be, honor and submission to authority are not recommendations by God; they are salvation-issue commands. As children under the Old Testament law were stoned to death if they would not obey their parents; as Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and all who stood with them were swallowed up by an earthquake for dishonoring Moses; and as Nadab and Abihu were devoured by fire from heaven for not obeying God’s commands regarding worship, all who resist God-ordained authority will receive unto themselves damnation (see Rom. 13:1-2 below).

There are far too many verses supporting this truth to list them all, but here are a few:

“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.”
    Hebrews 13:17 KJV

And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love…
    1 Thessalonians 5:12‭-‬13 MSG

These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
    Titus 2:15 – 3:1 KJV

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
    Romans 13:1‭-‬2 KJV

  22. 3 Finally, dear brothers and sisters,[a] we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you.

When I was in High Schoool I had several friends that were apostolic but I never had an interest in knowing why they dressed how they dressed. I just saw them as Christians and girls wear skirts only. It wasn’t till my husband taught me the truth and God opened my eyes and I realized I had been living a lie my whole life. It all made sense when Valentin taught me scripture. I was always asking him questions because everything he would teach me went against what I was raised my whole life. Yes it was hard to leave certain things but I realized that if He’s telling us to live a certain way it must be because it’s important. God was calling me right there and I didn’t want to reject Him and me learn the hard way. The Lord knew what plans I had before knowing Him and I thank Him for saving me from that path. We must pray earnestly that the souls would have hunger for Him and that they would open up their eyes when they read the Word of God. Sometimes it’s sad to see how children want more of God than adults. I pray that that fire that children carry for God would never die in Jesus Name!!!!

  23. 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

It looks like when you have too much time on your hands and don’t have work to do whether for pay or in the home, it can lead to talking about everyone else and their business. Perhaps these people in this chapter when to other homes and gossiped and ate at the house they were in and not their own homes. Don’t let your food become the payment for a gossiper. Don’t listen to it by phone or text either because you become involved and will be a busybody too.

  24. iLove the Kingdom
1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

I think we all can agree that sometimes we read through the Word too quickly without catching the true meanings and statements that are being presented. For example, verses 1 and 2 hold some interesting statements. Paul is asking the church to pray for him and his team. Let’s pause there for a moment and think about it. When we think about the Apostle Paul, we might imagine he walked in total authority. Everywhere he went, demons fled and the rivers parted. But here in these two verses, we see the humanity of Paul. He is asking the church for prayer…and not only that, he’s asking help to escape wicked men.

We (just like Paul) should pray for God’s hand of protection each day and not think that just because we are children of God that we will be ok.

  25. 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

The Bible is pretty clear here, he doesnt want us to be lazy. He wants us to work and earn our keep and be able to take care of ourselves.

  26. 11 Thessalonians 3

13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

Weariness becomes a feeling of being depleted. Paul says don’t be weary in your well doing. We cannot allow results of our efforts as we work in the Kingdom to give us a feeling of being depleted . We must continue to sow . Work for the Kingdom. Remember we are all members fittly joined together . Also when weakness tries to overtake you that’s when another member of the body will be stronger than you. This is so why we need one another and think ourselves not higher than each other. One sows , one waters , then a harvest. Why do we assimilate new believers because one person cannot tend to a bunch of babies without getting weary sometimes along the way again the need for one another. How beautiful a picture I watched Wednesday from the keyboard of others ministering to whom I call my babies. I couldn’t pray with them while at the keyboard for alter but I watched as others who have been where they’ve been step right in showing love and concern. What a great body of people for the Kingdom. So Paul admonished don’t grow weary in well doing . When you find yourself in this state of mind don’t stop just know God will bring the breath of fresh air you will need just when you are at that point of weariness. Then in we’ll doinf and working for the Kingdom you will catch your breath and be able to stay tight in the will of God for the Kingdom. A Holy Ghost breath that will fuel you for the next well doing.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

As we wait upon the Lord we will grow stronger.

    In Jesus name.

  27. 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

You are who you spend your time with. Are you influencing your friends or do your friends influence you?

Prov 12:26 The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.

  28. AMP – 13 And as for [the rest of] you, [c]believers, do not grow tired or lose heart in doing good [but continue doing what is right without weakening].

Paul is instructed the churches in this chapter to keep focused, separate yourself from those that walk with you but are undisciplined in their actions, as to not fall into the same path as them.

It’s so easy to lose heart when you see undisciplined people around you that say with their mouth they love God and are christians, yet their actions say something totally different. Thus we are told to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We can not base our relationship with the Lord on what others do or don’t do, otherwise we will lose heart. We must set our guidelines and disciplines based on the Word of God and our relationship with the Lord, and be steadfast, unlovable, unshakeable from them regardless of what others do.

  29. 3But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.b 4And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded you. 5May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ. (NLT)

I am a believer that if we are faithful to God, there is no doubt that God will remain faithful not matter how many times we fail or even feel sorry for ourselves. If we seek first the Kingdom, God will allow us to express the love that is God toward others. If we are keeping our lives right then those we are trying to reach will see Christ in us. We have to possess the love of God to express it to other.

If we endure to the end this race we are running we will be saved through our obedience to the word of God. It is time for the church to remain faithful and true. Again we have to hold to the anchor. Remain faithful.

    I love the kingdom!

  30. 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Just because someone says that they are christians, does not make them one. Be careful of those who you invite into your spiritual life with Christ. I know not all branches of chrisianity are the same, but even the devil used God’s word to tempt Jesus in to jumping off a building.
You are the company you keep.

14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.

15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

  31. Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
    2 Thessalonians 3:1 KJV
    This is a Scriptural prayer we can pray with confidence that God will answer; that God’s Word would have free course and be glorified! The Amplified Bible puts it this way: Finally, brothers and sisters, pray continually for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be honored [triumphantly celebrated and glorified], just as it was with you;

We know the spreading of the Word is key to revival as shown in the book of Acts. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
    Acts 6:7 KJV
Therefore, we should pray for God to open doors for the Word to go forth and be willing to share it wherever and whenever He wants us to. I am rejoicing over an open door God has given me at school to oversee a Bible study group! Glory to God!

  32. 2 Thessalonians 3:1, “FINALLY, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.”

I pray this scripture every service. “That the Word of God may have free course.” I pray that it will run freely, without any hindrances in the church. This is why I also pray against any distractions during church, because distractions causes hindrances, and when people are distracted, they miss hearing the Word that is preached. I also pray for Faith to mixed with the Word that it may be profitable.

This is why we must pray for Pastor or any Preacher that gets behind the pulpit and preaches God’s Word. Pray that the Word of God will have free course, run freely without hindrances, and bind any spirit of distraction or doubt and unbelief, and release Faith that the Word of God will be profitable. Pray that the Word of God will bring Salvation, Healing, Deliverance, Correction, Instruction, etc… because when It does the work It is suppose to do, It will be glorified.

  33. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

This shows that God’s work of establishing and guarding us is done, in part, through His appeal to our will in obeying His word.

  34. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

  35. 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

God cares about the people we’re aroud with inside and outside of church. Not everyone that calls themself a Christian has it in their heart to help others grow in Christ.

  36. It’s funny and it hurts to see people walk away from the covering of a pastor. They get some revelation of church growth. Or they get a bright idea of how doctrine suppose to be.

Then they wonder and look at themselves why they struggle so much. Why they have people walking away from their church. Why people reject their ideas.

6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

  37. “Finally, brothers and sisters, pray continually for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be honored [triumphantly celebrated and glorified], just as it was with you; and [pray] that we will be rescued from perverse and evil men; for not everyone has the faith.”
    ‭‭2 THESSALONIANS‬ ‭3:1-2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I pray that the word of the Lord would spread rapidly throughout the whole world. That all will see the One Truth Living God! That they would turn from their evil ways and serve the Lord with all their hearts.

  38. 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Who is it that you follow? And are they in alignment first with God and with the leadership God has placed over your life? We need to be able to recognize and discern. We must remember that God always puts order for he is not the author of confusion.

  39. 4 And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

May the will of God be upon each of you and bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus.

  40. 2 de tesalonicenses 3:14-15. Pablo enseña de amonestar a los hermanos que andan viviendo desordenadamente , más no tenerlo como enemigos

  41. 5 May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.

Many who don’t believe in God, feel that God let them down. They may ask, what has God done for me? Or God allowed me to suffer a terrible deed. But one day, they will feel God and trust in him. We just have to keep encouraging them to accept Jesus and that he is a God of love.

  42. 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

    So, that explains a lot.

I wish I had paid attention to this scripture before.

  43. “But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.”
    ‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If the Lord is faithful and what does it tell you about us. We need to be faithful in a little and faithful in the large. If God is faithful to us we have to be faithful to him and his kingdom. When you’re a part of the army of the Lord he will keep you from evil from this world from the enemy. Amen.

  44. 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

When we recognize a fellow brother or sister is walking disorderly, it’s best not to become apart of their situation. We can still lift them up in prayer, but recognize that further conflict will only stir up division. So, it may be better to give them their space. We don’t have to explain ourselves to everyone and spread our business or anyone else’s. To withdrawal oneself is biblical, it’s better to keep silent and not to quarrel over foolishness. We should be careful whom we befriend or associate ourselves with, because birds of a feather flock together. The energy should instead be directed to working for the kingdom really, because all this is just distractions trying to trip up the church from operating in unity to reach the lost.

  45. “But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.(‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear that the Lord is faithful is that he’s true hearted to his word. He will strengthen and guard those that obey his word from the evil one.

  46. 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

Don’t be caught up in the mix. I love how the bible calls people out. Busybodies – to busy ones self about needless and useless matters

Many have perfected the art of looking busy. Some carry around things walking in a hurry, so people can thing that they are busy and leave them alone. What things do we occupy ourselves with that are trivial? God has gifted us with spiritual gifts and talents to help expand and support the ministry, and we are to “busy” to help.

When has God ever been to busy to help us? Would it bother us if we had a true emergency and were stood up for no good reason?’

    Think about it
