Pray that God will preserve and protect us and fulfill every promise that He has spoken. “And, behold, Iam with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land;for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of” (Genesis 28:15).

1 Timothy 1

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;

19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

  1. AMP – 3 As I urged you when I was on my way to Macedonia, stay on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain individuals not to teach any different doctrines, 4 nor to pay attention to legends (fables, myths) and endless genealogies, which give rise to useless speculation and meaningless arguments rather than advancing God’s program of instruction which is grounded in faith [and requires surrendering the entire self to God in absolute trust and confidence]. 5 But the goal of our instruction is love [which springs] from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6 Some individuals have wandered away from these things into empty arguments and useless discussions, 7 wanting to be teachers of the Law [of Moses], even though they do not understand the terms they use or the subjects about which they make [such] confident declarations.

    To know someone has erred in the gospel, you must know the Word of God. God’s word will lead and guide into all truth. Likewise it will correct, provide wisdom, give direction and dispel deception.

    Many times people come up with their own ideals, taken partly from the word of God and the rest from their flesh and it leads them into deeper deception. We must take the whole word of God, not partially, not just what pleases us, but take all of it and it will keep us from going astray.

  2. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    MINISTRY 101

    12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

    True Apostolic Ministry is a privilege. It is an opportunity to serve others as we continue serving GOD. True Apostolic Ministry is not something that we just decide to do or choose to get involved in.

    True Apostolic Ministry only happens when we are “Put in the Ministry by JESUS” and “Sent in Ministry by our Spiritual Authority”. Yes we can do ministry anywhere and everywhere and we should, however to assume the oversight and responsibility without being sent is proud move against the will and plan of GOD.

    JESUS enables us, as we are FAITHFUL to HIM and HIS plan and purpose, when JESUS sees our FAITHFULNESS then HE puts us into “THE” Ministry.

    From a heart of Thanksgiving, and a Faithful testimony lets serve the LORD and allow HIM to put us in a position to reach the lost and minister to others.

  3. 7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

    8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

    9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

    This scripture really puts a dent in the case of those who believe we dont have to live by the law of God and that we are simply saved by grace and we dont have to change the way we live in order to live for God. If that were the case why is the scripture encouraging us to be teachers of the law? For it says the law is good if we use it lawfully.

    What I interrupt from that is if we turn around from our sinful nature, we can ask for forgiveness of the sins we do commit because we will still commit sin no matter how hard we try not to. But if we abuse the law, if we continue to willfully sin and then ask God for forgiveness, God will know our forgiveness is not sincere and are taking advantage of his grace he has given us. I for one for do not want to do this. I love Jesus too much to want to take advantage of the grace he has given me for my own pleasure. But I want to follow him and do what I can to make sure I’m going down the right path with him.

  4. Christ Jesus our Lord treated me with undeserved grace and has greatly blessed my life with faith and love just like his own. “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.” This saying is true, and it can be trusted. I was the worst sinner of all! But since I was worse than anyone else, God had mercy on me and let me be an example of the endless patience of Christ Jesus. He did this so that others would put their faith in Christ and have eternal life.
    1 Timothy 1:14‭-‬16 CEV

    Unconstitutional love given to me. God never condemned me in my sins. Instead he embraced me in all of my failures and showed me that their is hope, there is life, there is healing, there is peace, there is joy, Jesus Christ is more than i ever expected ❤
    He brought life into a sinner like me destined for hell….but mercy had a different plan for my soul!
    Why not share this gospel with the lost? They are in need of salvation just as i am!!

    (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
    2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV

    Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord G od , “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”

  5. Verse 12 NLT “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him,”. A divine appointment….the Lord will give you what you need in order to carry it out.

    Verses 16 NLT “But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.” We all have a testimony or something that someone else may be able to relate to. If you allow yourself to be used by God as Paul did, others may come to know our eternal King.

    I love Paul’s humility in this passage, he could have added aid it in a different way, but he knows the place that God brought him from, he knows that what happened on that road was very deep, because God had to do something extraordinary to get his attention, he had to take the one thing that he needed most, as long as we can see what we are doing, where we are going we can resist, but to take his sight I’m sure was a as shock, it left him vulnerable, and he had to rely on the help of others, he had tdd o still go to the place that God wanted him to go, and do exactly what God wanted him to do, he had to trust the very people that he ppl persecuted, and I’m positive it’s their Submission and obedience to Jesus, that was noted by Paul, and made an impact on him, as influential as he was as a sinner, he was as a preacher, as tightly as he held on to traditional things and rejected christianity, his conversion made him cling even more to Jesus and reject his traditions. he never forgot the person he became, But was thankful and forever praising God and giving him Glory for the Man that he became! Have I forgotten where I’ve come from? Does my praise, my Worship come from a place of GRATITUDE OR REPITIION!

  7. 5. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    6. From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

    7. Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

    swerve
    /swərv/
    verb
    1. change or cause to change direction abruptly.

    We’ve all seen people swerve in life – one minute they’re going this way, then all of a sudden we see them going that way (or no longer see them at all). These sudden and severe changes only indicate that they are the ones in control and didn’t know what was ahead in time to safely navigate around it.
    When we trust God enough to allow Him to drive, He knows everything that will be in our path, always navigates us around or through the obstacles, and will never steer us off a cliff.
    I know it’s cliche and I can hardly stand the song for some reason, but…
    ”Jesus, take the wheel!”

  8. Allow God to Use you in whatever way possible
    Grace, mercy, Love

    1 TIMOTHY 1:1-19 NLT
    This letter is from Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, appointed by the command of God our Savior and Christ Jesus, who gives us hope. I am writing to Timothy, my true son in the faith. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord give you grace, mercy, and peace. When I left for Macedonia, I urged you to stay there in Ephesus and stop those whose teaching is contrary to the truth. Don’t let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees. These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God. The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith. But some people have missed this whole point. They have turned away from these things and spend their time in meaningless discussions. They want to be known as teachers of the law of Moses, but they don’t know what they are talking about, even though they speak so confidently. We know that the law is good when used correctly. For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders. The law is for people who are sexually immoral, or who practice homosexuality, or are slave traders, liars, promise breakers, or who do anything else that contradicts the wholesome teaching that comes from the glorious Good News entrusted to me by our blessed God. I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength to do his work. He considered me trustworthy and appointed me to serve him, even though I used to blaspheme the name of Christ. In my insolence, I persecuted his people. But God had mercy on me because I did it in ignorance and unbelief. Oh, how generous and gracious our Lord was! He filled me with the faith and love that come from Christ Jesus. This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen. Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the prophetic words spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles. Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.
    1 Timothy 1:1‭-‬19 NLT

  9. 1 Timothy 1

    ontrary to sound doctrine;

    11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

    12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

    The glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. How important to know the word . Not just reading the word but studying. Taking time to understand what is truly written. God has given to us a mandate that after the Holy Ghost has come upon us that we would be witnesses to teaching and preaching with the power He has put upon us. Know the word study be attentive to thevteaching and preaching. That’s not enough you have to know it fir yourself. God has given the commandment to go into the world with the gospel. It’s time we use the spiritual authority placed in us by Jesus Christ. Simple yet a privilege we should never take lightly. I’m amazed at people who say they are called of God yet they are doing what God commanded. If we can reach just one and that one reach another with just the greatest story ever told The Gospel. Don’t stray from the truth don’t look fir an easy way to share the Gospel. Just speak what it is. Paul admonished and taught Timothy so that he would know how to lead. It’s time to hear the word and apply it to our lives so that we too can be assured not to waver from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Spiritual Authority sanction from God Approval by those who watch for our souls and the souls of others. God’s order of anointing. Yes all goes back to submission to God and the spiritual authority that leads us.
    I am not ashamed of the Gospel and thanking God Daily for His Word

  10. 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
    16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

    Nevermind our righteous we think we have become I believe it is important that we never forget who we were before Christ to make us continually grateful for the saving grace of God. Understanding that in humility allows us to continue to live under the grace of God. Our righteousness is only obtained through the mercy of Christ

  11. 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

    His grace is sufficient; His love is overwhelming and more than enough to restore and sustain us. What a great way to share your testimony: I may have done this and this, or God has kept me from this and that, but thanks be to God, His grace was exceeding abundant and saw fit to save me!

  12. 1 Timothy 1:12 ( Amp) I give thanks to Him Who has granted me [ the needed strength and made me able [ for this] , Christ Jesus our Lord, Because He has judged and counted me to [ this stewardship of] the ministry.]16] But I obtained mercy for the reason that in me, as the foremost
    [ of sinners], Jesus Christ might show fourth and display all His perfect long – suffering and patience for an example to [ encourage] those who would thereafter believe on Him for [ the gaining of eternal life. We need to share our testimony to others just like Paul did. So that others will come to Jesus as Saviour. First the Kingdom.

  13. Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.
    1 Timothy 1:19 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/1ti.1.19.NLT

    God gave us a conscience as a guide. With conscience and the Holy Ghost we have tools to help us navigate through life. Add in the Word, an anointed Pastor and pastor’s wife, and a loving church and you’ve got mighty weapons in your arsenal to help you through the trials of life.

  14. 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

    Let’s be Christ like and reach for the Lost. Every day that’s my goal. To reach someone about Jesus. I wanna share to them what Gods doing in my life and so many others. This is impact. So let’s go impact

  15. iLove the Kingdom
    “Red and Yellow Black and White”

    4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

    Back in the day, (Paul’s day) folks liked to trace their family tree back to see their “heritage”. Look how the Message breaks down this scripture. ‘On my way to the province of Macedonia, I advised you to stay in Ephesus. “…apparently some people have been introducing fantasy stories and fanciful family trees that digress into silliness instead of pulling the people back into the center, deepening faith and obedience.” 1 Timothy 1:4

    The only heritage worth tracing back is the path to the cross. Jesus died for every nationality, language, tribe, and tongue. If we truly wanted to trace back our heritage, we would all find true unity and oneness…literally oneness because we all came from Adam. Every last one of us, whether we are red, yellow, black, or white we are all from the one man Adam and we are all precious in His sight. Boom!

  16. 1 Timothy 1:18-19 (msg)
    18) I’m passing this work on to you, my son Timothy. The prophetic word that was directed to you prepared us for this. All those prayers are coming together now so you will do this well, fearless in your struggle, keeping a firm grip on your faith and on yourself. After all, this is a fight we’re in.
    19) There are some, you know, who by relaxing their grip and thinking anything goes have made a thorough mess of their faith.

    So many Christians today have made a thorough mess of their faith by relaxing their grip and thinking anything goes.
    Paul is reminding Timothy that this is a fight we’re in and to keep a firm (strong, solid) grip on his faith and in his walk with God.

    As we live in a world today where “anything’s okay, anything goes,” we must remember we are in a fight. We must keep a firm, strong, and solid grip on our faith and in our walk with God.

    2 Timothy 4:7 Paul says, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

    Fight a good fight, stay on course, keep the faith!

  17. 3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

    4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

    Don’t question his plan, just take the steps and don’t listen to those around you that preach the word from the world. Stay faithful to Jesus Christ and serve with faith trying to reach those that don’t know the truth. I’m blessed to have had my sister there and help guide me back to Jesus Christ. I love my church family and grateful for each person.

  18. 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

    13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

    14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

    Many people wait to be faithful. We tell ourselves, “I’ll be faithful when I’m in such and such a position.” That’s nonsense. We should be faithful right where we are at – our faithfulness is shown in the small things.

  19. Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. Hymenaeus and Alexander are two examples. I threw them out and handed them over to Satan so they might learn not to blaspheme God.
    1 Timothy 1:19‭-‬20 NLT

    Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
    1 Timothy 4:1‭-‬2 KJV

    Dictionary. Com defines conscience as:
    1. the inner sense of what is right or wrong in one’s conduct or motives, impelling one toward right action:
    2. the complex of ethical and moral principles that controls or inhibits the actions or thoughts of an individual.

    Conscience is that God-given voice inside our head that leads us to do right and warns us we are doing wrong. Conscience is dulled when we walk after the flesh and fine-tuned when we walk in the Spirit. It is an innate ability to sense what is right before God. It is a gift that keeps us within the bounds of God’s law even when we don’t know God’s law.

    However, each time we violate our conscience, it is like laying a hot iron on the skin: initially it hurts, but eventually scar tissue creates a hardness that no longer feels the pain. Living in habitual sin creates a deafness to the Spirit that makes it impossible for you to walk by faith. Thus, you become shipwrecked, reprobate, unable to discern between right and wrong.

    It is impossible to profitably argue with a person who has a seared conscience. The only hope is that the consequences of their sin will cause enough sorrow to bring about repentance.

  20. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
    1 Timothy 1:17 KJV

    God, or the Father, is an invisible Spirit that fills all time, space, and eternity. He is from everlasting to everlasting. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. But wait—so is Jesus!! Jesus is described as the image of the invisible God and the express image of His person. That is why Jesus said to Philip, “He that hath seen me, hath seen the Father.”

  21. 7 They want to be known as teachers of the law of Moses, but they don’t know what they are talking about, even though they speak so confidently.

    Many go to school to receive a degree in theology, cause want to know more of the bible. They may know much about the history of the bible, and some like to let you know they do.

    I know someone who wants to be preached by someone with a degree in theology vs someone with no degree. I told him, I rather had a man of God anointed by God to preach to me. He wasn’t to thrill about my answer. A Godly man led by the Spirit will out preach a man with a degree anytime.

  22. 15This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. 16But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. 17All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen. (NLT)

    From the foundation of the world, God had a plan to step down from the throne of Glory, clothed in flesh and blood, to become a great sacrifice for all mankind. He paid a ransom that no man or women could ever pay. Sinners were we as we were sharpened by iniquity and born into sin. We have received the glory of grace and a mercy that we could not even deserve. I find that every morning this love for a wretched soul such as I is so overwhelming that I get to be in his grace every step I take. As we are filled with the power of the Holy Ghost we must not forget how important it is that Jesus called us to be witnesses for him. That is why prayer, fasting, reading the word, and seeking first the kingdom of God is imperative to our walk with Him. If through faith and obedience, we can win the lost of this world before the trumpet sounds.

    He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the all sufficient one. He is Jehovah-Jirah my provider.

    I love the Kingdom!

  23. 13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

    14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

    When I think of who I used to be and where I am now it’s by the grace of God. My parents were new to church and first generation they were getting to know God and what living for Him was all about. I will confess I didn’t have a clear understanding other than you have to go to church because that’s what you’re supposed to do. When I had fallen away from church and started living in and of the world did I finally get a revelation. Sin had taken me to places I thought I’d never go and do things that I thought I’d never do. But by His grace I’ve overcome those things. I’m not ashamed just stronger and wiser. God can transform the worst sinner and make him one of His own apostles. I am thankful for God’s grace and covering. I don’t have to live with the image of old me at my back but look forward to God’s image of me that in front of me and follow the path He has directed me to go. I think of all the things I used to carry that I’ve gladly laid down and the new things of God I’ve picked up to carry with me and realize how blessed I am. Sometimes we have to go back to that first experience and put ourselves back in check of what we do have instead of what we don’t have.

  24. 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

    The message and purpose never changed. Jesus came to this earth to save sinners. This morning we are on outreach with the same purpose, to save sinners. It is a simple message. Let us go do the will of him that started this work.

  25. 20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
    And, I Cor 5:5 “deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord [a]Jesus.”

    “Deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.”The destruction of the flesh is a remedial procedure, the design of which is for the man’s salvation.There is no redemptive value in mere death!A man put to death hardly has the opportunity for reformation.

    The expression “deliver such a one unto Satan” is the equivalent of “put away the wicked man from among yourselves” (v. 13).It is a biblical idiom for the severing of Christian fellowship.It represents a dramatic expression of the literal formula, “have no company with” (v. 9), or the more specific admonition “with such a one do not even eat” (v. 11), i.e., refrain from ordinary social fraternization with such a one (cf. 2 Thes. 3:6).

    One must note that Hymenaeus and Alexander had been “delivered unto Satan” in order that “they might be taught not to blaspheme” (1 Tim. 1:20).If the “deliverance” was death, how does the subsequent clause make any sense?It was not anticipated that these gentleman would be doing post-mortem blasphemy!

    What then, is the meaning of that ambiguous phrase, “for the destruction of the flesh”?The sense almost certainly is this: Turn the man over to Satan (i.e., back into the world community of debauchery), that he may reap the consequences of his rebellion (whatever physical and/or emotional disadvantages that might involve), along with distressing estrangement from a warm, loving association with the church.Under such circumstances of distress, if there were a remnant of conscience remaining, the rogue brother might well learn to “destroy” his baser, “fleshly” urges, and thus be reclaimed for the Savior’s cause.”
    Commentary found in Christian Courier by Wayne Jackson

  26. 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
    5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    Is the Kingdom first in our lives?

    What are you learning? Is it for “personal groweth?” Is it so you can get that one up, on someone? What about learning about how to become an influencer for the Kingdom? What about seeking God in the scriptures of His Word?
    We must be so cautious to not get caught up in the self pursuit of life, because this life will pass away, and we are eternal beings. Meaning that our first focus should be the Kingdom and growing on it, then all these things will be added. God will bless those who put his kingdom first.

  27. 19 Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.

    When I hear the word cling, I think of the word attached. You don’t want to let go no matter what. We can’t let go of our faith in God because we will loose to much. Loosing faith is loosing hope, trust, believe, a miracle, a healing, a change, your family coming to God, etc. We loose to much when we loose faith. I know we are all carnal and sometimes it’s hard to see in the spiritual but this is when our faith must increase the most and realize that God is faithful. He has never left me and has always come through at the perfect time. Like Bro. Godwin said on Wednesday we are all given a measure of faith and with that faith that we have I what will help us get us out. Cling to your faith!!!!!

  28. 8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

    Yes the law is good. Not to be taken lightly tho, nor to be twisted and modified to fit ones own personal gratification. It’s common among a lot of christians to peach but not practice or to give a certain perception of what the law says or means. Words coming out of their mouths but not really knowing what they’re talking about.

    Study your word and practice more then you preach.

  29. 1 de Timoteo 1:12-17 Nunca debemos olvidar de donde Dios nos sacó, que Cristo Jesús vino al mundo para salvar a los pecadores de los cuales yo soy el primero , a él sea el honor y la gloria por siempre

  30. Be Faithful!

    12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

    If we want to be used by God in THE Ministry, we must FIRST show ourselves faithful.

    Faithful in attending services.
    Faithful with our tithes and offerings.
    Faithful in worship.
    Faithful in prayer.
    Faithful in reading His Word.

    ““He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much.”
    ‭‭LUKE‬ ‭16:10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

    “For he was faithful to God, who appointed him, just as Moses served faithfully when he was entrusted with God’s entire house.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    “I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your ordinances before me.”
    ‭‭PSALM‬ ‭119:30‬ ‭AMP‬‬

  31. 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

    13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

    14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

    What I’m hearing in this is that we are to put away things of the world and focus on the things of the Kingdom. The more we remove ourselves from the world; the more we can focus on God and the glory of His Kingdom. Thank you Jesus for Your Kingdom.

  32. Oh, how generous and gracious our Lord was! He filled me with the faith and love that come from Christ Jesus. This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. (‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭14-15‬ NLT)

    God knows I was nothing he knew that I was dead in sin. That I didn’t want nothing to do with him. But he gave me one MORE chance and saved me raised me. CLEANSED ME Now I have dedicated my life to his works. Cause he is full of mercy and so willingly to save at their worst.

  33. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    There is only one God !!

  34. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
    6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
    7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

    I ah e heard many people teach one thing and within a short time totally negate their teachings, by teaching something directly opposite of what they had previously taught. As we study the Word, we must pray about what we speak, that we not be made liars. The Word is TRUTH. If we fail to teach with understanding, we only muddy the waters.

  35. 8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully

    Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill it (Mat 5:17). By Jesus’ teaching we should acknowledge that living a righteous and holy life is evident when we walk with him. We don’t have to be told stealing is wrong because someone close in relationship to God would never consider it. To set laws for those who follow holiness would seem unnecessary. Laws where developed for those who need boundaries because they live in an unholy mindset. Those who chose to life by the law will be judged by it. It’s better to simply live for Jesus where his grace abounds.

    Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

  36. 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

    Don’t listen to this world and what the world says. don’t listen to the unholiness of this world.

  37. “The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.(‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:5‬ NLT)

    In this verse God is telling us that he loves each one of his children so unconditionally. He wants to see his people be filled with his love and his Holy Spirit and also to whole heartedly seek him.

  38. 3Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    Loving from a pure heart is the beginning and ending of all things. When we love people we will lead them to God. When we love we live for Him without limits. Our faith goes beyond the boundaries fear tries to place us in. When we learn to love we learn to live. The word for 2019 is LOVE!

  39. We must not be afraid to teach this gospel. Jesus died for sins that we might have eternal life. When we tell someone else about Jesus, we give them a fighting chance against the enemy.

  40. “This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. Amen.”
    ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:15-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    The Lord is so merciful and kind that he would save the worst of sinners! And turn something so wrong and make it right. Only God can do something so amazing. He deserves all the honor and glory!

  41. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    God wants us to be genuine and Faithful, love God with all of your heart and soul.

  42. 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

    It’s a matter of Love. When you truly love it shows becuase the intentions are different. It’s no longer if there can be anything for you but rather how can I serve or give. There is is joy that ovetakes to know you are loving God’s way.

  43. 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

    13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

    This is the reason why it’s wrong to be judge mental upon new believers. Most have grown up in the world, with no church influence or teaching. So there understanding of what is right and what is wrong is skewed.

    We on the other hand that have had the blessing to be raised within the church, do not have the luxury of falling under this protection. That is why it will be worse for those that know and understand and willing turn there backs on the gospel of Jesus.

  44. 3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

    4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do

    Everything we hear must line up with the Word of God.

  45. “As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.”
    ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Be serious and on purpose about what you teach. Stick to the Bible. There are people who don’t, and they don’t lead people the right way. Fables and fair tales sound nice, but they don’t save people. The only things that saves is the amazing power of God.
