1 Timothy 5

Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

Honour widows that are widows indeed.

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man.

10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;

12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.

16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.

17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.

24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

  1. 5:1
“Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;”

This verse introduces a section on I behavior toward members of the church family among whom I would be working. Being younger and perhaps more aggressive, I might be tempted to become impatient and resentful with some of the older men; hence the admonition that I is not to rebuke an older man sharply , but exhort him as a father . It would be improper for I as a younger man,to assault such a person with verbal blows. There might also be the danger of this young servant of Christ manifesting a overbearing attitude toward the younger men. And so Paul tells me that I to treat the younger men as brothers he is to be just kile one of them and not adopt a domineering attitude toward them.

  2. This chapter talks about the treatment and/or the caring of others (widows, elders, each other) in the church. We should honor and care for them. We don’t have to worry for the Lord is with us and He honors those who honor His word. Galatians 6:2 AMP says “Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love].” Hebrews 6:10 AMP “For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown for His name in ministering to [the needs of] the saints (God’s people), as you do.”

Philippians 4:19 AMP “And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

  3. 14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

  4. Younger women should get married to younger men at 20-30 years old and then they should have 2-3 kids and they should buy a house and give no occasion

  5. 22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

Every time we place our hands on someone to pray for them there is a connection going on underneath the surface. We must be careful not to be quick and putting your hands on other people to pray for them. We must be continuously protected by the whole armor of God that whatever maybe on a person when we pray does not come up on us but that is released into the spiritual realm; and likewise, we should be careful and make sure that our hearts are pure and cleansed so whatever is on us is something of righteousness and can be placed on another person

  6. 4-5 (Amp) But if a widow has children of grandchildren , see to it that are first made to understand that it is their religious duty ( to defray) their natural obligation to ( those at home, and make return to their parents or grandparents
[ for all their care by contributing to their maintenance), for this is accept able in the sight of God. [5] Now [ a women] who is a real widow and is left entirely alone and desolate has fixed her hope on God and preserves in supplication and prayers night and day. Always treat your elders with love and respect. Pray for them and help them when they need you. Treat them with great consideration. I thank God for the elders of our church. Treat older women like mothers and the younger women like sisters, in purity. Love one another and pray for one another.

  7. If a woman who is a believer has relatives who are widows, she must take care of them and not put the responsibility on the church. Then the church can care for the widows who are truly alone.
    1 Timothy 5:16 NLT
We must take care of those who can’t take care of themselves. Whether they are family or not we can work to help fulfill the needs of others. This may be a personal responsibility if it’s our relative family, or us as a church if anyone else be in need. It was the church’s responsibility to feed the hungry and heal the sick, not a government program.

  8. 17. Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

God takes respecting your elders seriously – in today’s reading he commands to give them double honor; in another scripture we read what happened to 42 children who mocked one bald man…

    2 Kings 2:
    23. And he went up from thence unto Beth-el: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

    24. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord . And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

  9. Keeping our selves pure , pleasing God not people
Doing Good deeds in secret until it comes out into fruition in daylight

    1 Timothy 5:17-25 NLT

Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching. For the Scripture says, “You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!” Do not listen to an accusation against an elder unless it is confirmed by two or three witnesses. Those who sin should be reprimanded in front of the whole church; this will serve as a strong warning to others. I solemnly command you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus and the highest angels to obey these instructions without taking sides or showing favoritism to anyone. Never be in a hurry about appointing a church leader. Do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure. Don’t drink only water. You ought to drink a little wine for the sake of your stomach because you are sick so often. Remember, the sins of some people are obvious, leading them to certain judgment. But there are others whose sins will not be revealed until later. In the same way, the good deeds of some people are obvious. And the good deeds done in secret will someday come to light.

  10. 16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.

When someone is our family member that is widowed or on their own and needs help, we should be able to help them instead of relying on other people to help them. So that way the church can focus on people who are truly alone and support those people that need a family.

  11. 1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

Honor the eldes and respect one another – in order to maintain unity in the body, these are key because a division or discord will not allow it/us to appropriately function as the body of Christ.

  12. 14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

Younger ladies play a vital role in advancing the Kingdom of God. As they have children they are adding to the church. When they teach their children to obey and fear God they are adding value to the church and when they respectfully keep themselves from reproach they are adding honor to the church.

What a wonderful opportunity we have to do Kingdom work in our homes and it trains us how to do it outside the home.

  13. The family of God

    1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
3 Honour widows that are widows indeed.

We are family. We are all the children of God, yet we fight amongst ourselves like enemies. Yes there will be disagreements, but we must let those things go. If we are to be the brightest light on the hill, we cannot have anything stand in the way of that.
    First the Kingdom.

  14. iLove the Kingdom

1Timothy 5:3 Take care of any widow who has no one else to care for her. 4But if she has children or grandchildren, their first responsibility is to show godliness at home and repay their parents by taking care of them. This is something that pleases God.

This should give parents great hope. Yep, right here in scripture Jesus got something serious for these young whippersnapper children of ours. It pleases God for our kids to “pay us back”. Yep, all those diapers and eating all my food, it’s all coming back Isaiah and Selah. Boom, it pleases God for you to take care of yer ma and pa! No nursing home for us…we moving in with the kids…ha! Can all the aged folks say amen?

  15. Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
    1 Timothy 5:20‭-‬21 KJV

I think its important to set examples, when new believers come in it’s important for us to give God our all, we should do that anyways, but the point is people dont understand what is going on, they dont understand the significance of raising hour hands to God in total surrender, in total praise, the only know what they see. they are new born believers, and new borns have to be nurtured fed, the same with believers that are always looking for a example of how to live, act. talk. walk. They sometimes get ahold of the wrong example, but correction Is necessary and doing it in front of other believers will let them know not to do that thing that may have been done because consequences are coming, it’s all about being a example for those coming up, and being the best example because you never know who is watching, and mimicking what you are doing!

  16. Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
    1 Timothy 5:1‭-‬2 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/1ti.5.1-2.KJV

We are to treat our elders with respect and trust in what they are teaching us. So what does that mean; even if someone is younger than me. They may very well be an elder in the Kingdom. Also to help raise up those that are young in the Kingdom and new to the word of God. Train them right and the will be a strong warrior for God. This is where I have to be mindful about what I watch and where I get my extra bible studying from. There are programs out there that even though they preach the word; they teach on it wrong. I know that when I’m learning; I want an elder in the Kingdom to be at the ready should I have an questions about what im studying. Thank you Jesus for ordering me this day.

  17. 8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

GOD IS OF ORDER!!! Help us Lord!!!

  18. “Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters. Take care of any widow who has no one else to care for her.”
    ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭5:1-3‬ ‭NLT

I believe these are characteristics and morals we get when we receive the Holy Ghost. I can remember how harsh and careless I use to be but when the Holy Ghost changed my life my heart was full of love and joy giving me good morals and characteristics as a Christian. It’s easy to see someone saying they wanna change and saying the whole once saved always saved thing when they’re already a nice person. If you was to take a harsh person and try that then without the Holy Ghost they’re gonna have some struggles but you know it’s God when it’s a complete Chrysalis and the man or woman does a complete 180. That’s when questions are asked and God can be glorified. Let’s give him the glory today in Jesus name!

  19. 1 Timothy 5:1-2 (nlt)
    1) Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brother.
    2) Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sister.

We must have respect for all members of the church, whether older or younger. We are a family.

  20. 24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

I’m thankful that we have the privilege of repentance. Repentance allows our sins to be forgiven and baptism washes them away (they go before us) rather than arriving at judgement day and our sins following us there to give an account for.

Repentance truly is a gift given to us. We must not abuse it be continuing to sin after revelation has come to us, but turn aside, truly repent and be made clean where withal.

  21. 24-25 The sins of some people are blatant and march them right into court. The sins of others don’t show up until much later. The same with good deeds. Some you see right off, but none are hidden forever.

No matter the sin, no matter the person, no matter the situation. Your sin will always be exposed.

Don’t allow the advisory to trick you into believing “they’ll never find out”. You serve the one true King who knows, is All and sees all.

Numbers 32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.

  22. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    KINGDOM ORDER = UNITY

21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

Again we learn of the importance of UNITY and the challenges we face in creating and maintaining UNITY. People are real and therefore the challenges are real.

UNITY begins with RESPECT. Respect means we all begin on the same level and the ground is neutral. As we continue to seek FIRST THE KINGDOM we will promote UNITY and serve with equality.

This is a charge or a command that we observe before JESUS and the Heavens. Do nothing for special favors… Serve the LORD JESUS with focus and passion.

  23. 24-25 The sins of some people are blatant and march them right into court. The sins of others don’t show up until much later. The same with good deeds. Some you see right off, but none are hidden forever.

Nothing stays hidden especially from God. We might be able to hide things from human but sooner or later the truth always comes out. We have to be in tune with the Spirit in everything that we do. Let’s be watchful of our actions and pray without ceasing. #FirsttheKingdomofGod

  24. 1 Never speak harshly to an older man,a but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. 2 Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.

RESPECT and HONOR! Yes, treat your elders with ultimate respect. No matter if the elder is in the wrong, you continue to show respect at all times. Young men, when you see elders carrying boxes or something, be ready to assist. If you see the need to help, go help.

  25. Whereas she who lives for pleasure and self-indulgence is spiritually dead even while she still lives.
    1 TIMOTHY 5:6 AMP

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. For even Christ pleased not himself…
    Romans 15:1‭-‬3 KJV

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
    Philippians 2:4 KJV

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
    Mark 8:34‭-‬36 KJV

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud…lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
    2 Timothy 3:2‭, ‬4‭-‬5 KJV

Self-indulgence (self-pleasing, living in pleasure, luxury, wastefulness, prodigality [used of the prodigal son]) is not an option; it is the enemy of our souls. Living for self-pleasure is always destructive. It denies the Cross and makes us lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God. It causes disparity in the body of Christ and harm to the Gospel message.

We have a responsibility in Christ to serve others. No matter the age, no matter the gender, we are all expected to put the Kingdom first, to put the needs of others before our own desires for pleasure and ease. We have been called to be servants, soldiers, supporters, caregivers, friends, teachers, preachers, and any other thing that our neighbor (family member, church member, or any other person or lost soul that God leads our way) needs and we have the means to fulfill (so long as their need wasn’t created by their own unrepentant, self-indulgent lifestyle [1 Tim. 5:8, 11-13; 2 Thess. 3:10]).

In short, we are to be Christ-like, laying down our lives and our rights to serve the higher cause…souls. This world may try to teach us that “it’s all about me,” but with God it’s always “service before self.”

  26. 8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Men must be men and work and provide for their families. This means in the spiritual sense as well as the natural.

  27. 24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.
25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

Repent of any sin or wrong doing quickly or as soon as you realize you’ve done wrong. Don’t let a day go by that you do not reflect on it and your actions. Thank God for the blood, for his mercy and grace because we still live in this body of flesh and need Him daily.

  28. This chapter tells about the importance of protecting those in the church. The Goalis to keep them where they are supposed to be. Souls in the kingdom are a precious thing. Let’s keep our focus on helping people stay where they belong.

  29. 17Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well,e especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching. 18For the Scripture says, “You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!”f

19Do not listen to an accusation against an elder unless it is confirmed by two or three witnesses. 20Those who sin should be reprimanded in front of the whole church; this will serve as a strong warning to others. (NLT)

In the time I have been in the church, the very thing to me that carries more weight than most is the importance of elders. They are vital from the newest baby in the church to the oldest. I believe that many of our elders have been push to the background by the younger generation and they do not get the respect that is due for the times that they have battled for the cause of the kingdom. I feel they ought to be revered because of the knowledge and the dedication to the kingdom of God. They are the ones who have given us the younger generations the ability to serve God because of their labor. We need to honor those that have came before us. This also includes any pastor and minister of the gospel that labor from day to day to grow the kingdom of God.

    Romans 13:7 simply states-
7Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

We have to respect those for their hard work and honor them the same. Seeking first the kingdom enables us to lift up the praise that is due to God and lifting up those that have labored for the kingdom.

    I love the Kingdom!

  30. “The sins of some people are conspicuous, leading the way for them into judgment [so that they are clearly not qualified for ministry]; but the sins of others appear later [for they are hidden and follow behind them]. Likewise, good deeds are quite evident, and those which are otherwise cannot be hidden [indefinitely].”
    ‭‭1 TIMOTHY‬ ‭5:24-25‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Sometimes what we see on the outside, really isn’t an accurate picture. With some, it is easy to see where they struggle. Others are better at hiding it. But sin will always be revealed.

We all have areas of our life that we struggle with. But it is only when we are open and honest about it with ourselves and with God, that He can begin to deal with us.

  31. “Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.”
    ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭5:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

One thing I have learn from my parents is to respect and love and care for the older people. I remember with such admiration how my mother cared for my grandmother with such patience and love. It’s sad to see so many young people disrespect them, when we can learn so much from them.

  32. 24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

Even though we do not wair our sins on our shoulders. Some sins are more visible then others. It doesn’t really matter because Jesus sees them and eventually all will be revealed. The point is to admit them and give them to Christ. We all have faults and we all have struggles, how we choose to deal with them is what counts.

  33. The scripture talked about widows, and that they have to believe in God to support themselves, and pray night and day. You also need to have one husband and one wife. If we always believe in Hod he will make us right and holy

  34. After reading this, I caught a very small glimpse of a Pastor’s responsibilities in a church. God has instructions in dealing with widows, those living in sin, men, women, and elders. A Pastor needs to love the Word, study it with all their heart, obey it, and lead their sheep. Without that, there are open doors for all kinds of disorganization, disobedience, and corruption.

  35. 22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

Keep thyself pure. We should make sure we are being led of God at all times not only when praying for others. It may just be that you are praying against something God is allowing to deal with a person’s sin.

  36. Remember, the sins of some people are obvious, leading them to certain judgment. But there are others whose sins will not be revealed until later. In the same way, the good deeds of some people are obvious. And the good deeds done in secret will someday come to light. (‭1 Timothy‬ ‭5‬:‭24-25‬ NLT)

The things we do is no secret. No matter if we do evil or good on purpose. The fruit of our labour will show. And one day we will be judged. Secrets always find ways to the light.

  37. [1Ti 5:17-18 NLT] 17 Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching. 18 For the Scripture says, “You must not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!”

The NLT really makes it plain as to the proper payment of those in ministry. Those who do it well deserve our respect and should be “paid well.” After all, they watch for our souls and that should be very valuable to us!

  38. “Remember, the sins of some people are obvious, leading them to certain judgment. But there are others whose sins will not be revealed until later. In the same way, the good deeds of some people are obvious. And the good deeds done in secret will someday come to light.”(1 Timothy‬ ‭5:24-25‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Some people don’t hide their sinful actions and can be seen plain as day. Others can hide it like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Even satan disguised himself as an angel of light. Those hidden sins will be brought to light. God will judge the heart of man.

  39. 1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

    Respect !!

  40. 5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Those who are self seekers, and search for things of this world to satisfy their desires will come out empty. It’s like having pockets with holes in them. No amount of money or position can ever satisfy the thirst that a soul has for salvation. It’s an alarming place to be, when a soul is too full of the world to hunger for God. It’s a dead end road literally.

It’s possible to have everything of the world and have nothing ..but spiritual death. But, a person who has lost everything, can fill that void with Jesus. If we invite Him to fill us, he is faithful to fill us with spiritual abundance.

  41. 1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

No matter how hard I try, most times I miss it when I try to intreat others, and Jesus not only convicts me for the way I speak to them, but also relates it to me and my walk, to convict me too.

  42. 25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

God is an almighty God. He knows the intention of the heart for God knows everything you can’t hide.

  43. 6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

In search for a “better life” you can find yourself not living at all. Life without God is certain death. The second death is life without Him. The second birth is life with Him. We have to keep our focus. It is ok to do good in the world and be blessed but it has to come second to our real life with Him.

  44. 1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;

Elders are to not be rebuked for a reason they are there to guide and lead us as youth. Elders are men and woman that God has used and trusted and gave them many testimonies through out time and God shows us how to treat his children.

  45. “In the same way, the good deeds of some people are obvious. And the good deeds done in secret will someday come to light.”
    ‭‭

  46. I Timothy 5:8

But if any Provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Everyone should have the attitude “Not without my Family!

I like this: Every day parents and spouses leave their families in the pursuit of success. It’s almost as though they’re driving down the road, and they get pretty far along before they realize they’ve left members of their family behind .The tragedy is that many value their careers, success, or personal happiness more than they do their families. They decide that is too much work to go back, so they just keep driving. But what many are now realizing is that the hope of happiness at the expense of breaking up a family is an illusion. You can’t give up marriage or neglect your children and gain true success. As Nick Stinner asserted more than a decade ago, “When you have a strong family life, you receive the message that you are loved, cared for and important. The positive intake of love, affection, and respect….. gives you inner resources to deal with life more successfully.”

  47. 1 Timothy 5
    1) Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
    2) The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

  48. 22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

Training and wisdom, help avoid incidents when doing alter work. Most in churches people are uncomfortable being touched. God in not restrained by this, as long as there is faith, there can be miracles signs and wonders.

  49. “If anyone fails to provide for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he has denied the faith [by disregarding its precepts] and is worse than an unbeliever [who fulfills his obligation in these matters].”

Thankful for a Heavenly Father who provides for His children. And I’m also thankful to know that God has placed so much importance on the family unit. I pray that we learn to balance our lives.

“Now for the third time I am ready to visit you. I will not burden you [financially], because I do not want what is yours [not your money or your possessions], but you. For children are not responsible to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.”
    ‭‭2 CORINTHIANS‬ ‭12:14‬ ‭AMP‬‬
