Hebrews 9

Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Reading these scriptures, I find myself thinking that with the high priest Jesus, he created a more perfect tabernacle as he was clothed in flesh and full of the glory of God, it was no longer a covenant under the law but a new covenant under grace which was sanctioned by the spilling of precious blood on a hill called Calvary. How much more it would have been it we still needed a man as a high priest to sacrifice for the remission of our sins every year. Jesus cancelled that task by utilizing his blood that spilled for the remission of our sins.

    Revelations 7:14 states-
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

    Revelations 12:11 states-
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

There many things that can give us hope but there is only one thing in this world that can bring us through every trial, temptations, and all tribulations is the promise of eternal life that Jesus gave us by shedding his blood for me and taking away every sin. We know there could be no remission without the shedding of Blood. Nothing but the blood of Jesus can save me and wash me clean.

I am reminded of this old song:

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
    Come to us, Lord
You reward those who earnestly, diligently seek You
I wanna see Your face, I wanna know Your way
    Come to us, Lord
We want You more than this life
More than our way Your way is higher
    Your thoughts are higher
    We surrender here tonight
What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
    Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
    No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
    Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
    No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

    I live the kingdom!

  2. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
    Hebrews 9:22‭, ‬28 KJV

There is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood

REMISSION: forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty

They had to make a sacrifice once a year for the atonement of their sins, and Aaron had to and then they had to do two goats one for shed the Blood another called a scape goat and through out the rest of the year a0 sacrifice for clensing because they may have needs, but you cant approach God filthy so they had to make a clensing offering to be able to make their request known!
I think the same rings true for us, we have to be mindful of our condition when we approach the Lord! The first Goat is our repentance, and God forgives us and the scape goat is Baptism in Jesus’s Name and the in filling of the Holy Ghost, we are so blessed that God saw fit to redeem us with his own blood! Thank you Jesus for Atonement, our day of atonement is everyday all day, since we live under Grace, and Mercy.

  3. With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.
    Hebrews 9:12‭-‬14 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/heb.9.12-14.NLT

There has been a misconception that the people of the old testament sacrificed constantly to atone for their sins. Not true as a matter of fact they had a biblical ritual: day of atonement. This is a permanent law for you, to purify the people of Israel from their sins, making them right with the Lord once each year.” Moses followed all these instructions exactly as the Lord had commanded him. Lev. 16:34 so when God speaks to us about sacrifice today; what am I willing to sacrifice for the glory of God. What can I sacrifice 🤔: well there’s time, monetary things; it just all depends on what God asks me to sacrifice. He is going to take care of all my needs if I would just !!LISTEN!! to Him. Things are different now: I want to be in the presence of God. I enjoy now seeking after God. Do I want more yes; do I know how to get more: of course. So what is stopping me 🤔: that would only be one thing: me. Why do I have a hard time following after God. It’s my stinking flesh. What do I need to do: for one pray daily for God to guide me. So my biggest issue is time. There are 24hrs in a day; what am I doing that I can’t even give God 30 minutes a day. Hello; this is your flesh calling. What I need to do is put my flesh on permanent hold. I’m sorry flesh; I can’t come play right now. I’m busy doing things for the Kingdom of God: leave a message and I’ll get back to you possibly never. This is how I have to treat myself when it comes to God. Thank you Jesus for giving me a mind to seek after you.

  4. Verses 25-28 CEV “Christ did not have to offer himself many times. He wasn’t like a high priest who goes into the most holy place each year to offer the blood of an animal. If he had offered himself every year, he would have suffered many times since the creation of the world. But instead, near the end of time he offered himself once and for all, so that he could be a sacrifice that does away with sin. We die only once, and then we are judged. So Christ died only once to take away the sins of many people. But when he comes again, it will not be to take away sin. He will come to save everyone who is waiting for him.”

1 John 2:2 AMP “And He [that same Jesus] is the propitiation for our sins [the atoning sacrifice that holds back the wrath of God that would otherwise be directed at us because of our sinful nature—our worldliness, our lifestyle]; and not for ours alone, but also for [the sins of all believers throughout] the whole world.”

1 Peter 3:18 AMP “For indeed Christ died for sins once for all, the Just and Righteous for the unjust and unrighteous [the Innocent for the guilty] so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;”.

  5. 7. But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

    11. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

    12. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

The high priests could only go once a year, sacrifice something else, and push ahead their own sins and the sins of others for one year…
Jesus only had to go one time to sacrifice Himself, who did no sin, and wash away our sins forever, becoming our High Priest eternally!

    28. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and UNTO THEM THAT LOOK FOR HIM shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

    Luke 21:28
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

  6. 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Jesus became our lamp, our sacrifice to be offered up for a payment of sins. The lamp’s the priest were offering had to be done over and over again but when Jesus steps on the scene he only offered once. One time and sins are washed away.
It only times a simple prayer of forgiveness for God to clean our minds and hearts to start the walk of life.
Jesus has given us a way to everlasting life. A life of freedom from sin and regret but it is up to us to partake of it.
There is a old saying you can take a horse to water but you cant not make him drink the water. The same with us Jesus has given us life but we have to be willing to drink of his cup to give it. I can’t just stand there saying okay I’m here Lord fill me give me life if I’m not willing to ask for forgiveness and turn from a life of sin.
This should be a daily routine to go before God and ask to be cleansed to be filled with the Holy Ghost. It should be the first thing we do when we wake up and the last thing we do before we end other day. Is God I need you.

  7. 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation

No matter how long we are in church this message must never become old to us. That we were all on our way to a fiery hell and it took the pure Love of Christ to take our sinful ways and redeem us. This is the Pinnacle that we must always stand on for the very foundation that we live. We hear this message thousands of times but it never loses its power or its meaning.

  8. So Christ died only once to take away the sins of many people. But when he comes again, it will not be to take away sin. He will come to save everyone who is waiting for him.
    Hebrews 9:28 CEV

It is only through the sacrifice of Jesus do i have hope of eternal life with Him, and there will be no other!! Today i live and have life more abundantly ❤
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
    Leviticus 17:11 KJV

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

We understand that the blood of JESUS is applied to our lives at Baptism (total immersion in water) in JESUS name. The signification and application of this blood is what cleanses us wholly and completely from sin.

When we REPENT (turn away from and forsake) sin, then the Blood of JESUS cleanses us from the filth of that sin, every negative residue of the sin is purged from even our conscience or thoughts.

Remember the Blood of JESUS! Speak the Blood of JESUS!

  10. so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

Jesus name! I pray for this region to be brought to a place where they know the time is growing short and the light in this world will grow dim. Our window to reach souls grows smaller. People may want healings and deliverances but they NEED SALVATION!! GOD PUT A FIRE IN US TO REACH THE LOST OF THIS DYING WORLD!!!!

  11. Hebrews 9
    11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Every piece of furniture in the tabernacle is applicable to our life today.
From the brazen alter of sacrifice ,repentance ,laver of water washing away of sins , baptism……through Jesus Christ sacrifice now we can experience the precious Holy of Holiest. He became the greatest sacrifice so that we could be saved .
He poured out His precious blood to redeem us.
I do not want to ever take His presence, His power fir granted. I think we forget how privileged we truly are to be able to come into the presence of God. We go through the motions of a church service . We attend every meeting every prayer service every Sunday school lesson yet miss the depth of being able to come into the presence of God. Oh what a Saviour who gave so we could live and have His love and strength in the midst of a sin stricken world. We are privileged to know truth and experience the power of the Holy Ghost.
    Seeking first the Fathers Kingdom
The price was paid so we could be free.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

    In My Father’s Kingdom

    This bread is My body
    Broken for you
This cup is My blood of the covenant
    Poured out for you
I will not drink of the fruit of this vine
Until I drink it a new with you
    In my Father’s Kingdom
    In my Father’s Kingdom

  12. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

    The Blood of Jesus Christ.

If we ever lose sight and knowledge that it was the Blood of Jesus that washed away our sins, we are lost. Thank God for the Blood. He thought you and I are worth saving. He own creation, made in the image of Him. The spotless lamb sacrificed himself for me, a sinner. Thank you Jesus for what you did at Calvary.

  13. “so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We need to be eagerly waiting for God and also to tell as many people about the gospel of salvation, like in the days of Noah, the time is near and we must tell the world that Jesus is coming soon.

    1 Corinthians 1:7
So that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

    Matthew 24:42-44
Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

  14. iLove the Kingdom in Action
We are the temple of God. Just like the Old Testament pattern of the Temple, so too is our body. The Holiest of Holies represent the most holy place. That would be our spirit. We must remove the veil from our hearts and allow the Savior come inside our hearts. The holy place where the shewbread and candlestick are located is our mind. How do we have our minds enlightened? By reading the Word. The outer court is our bodies. This is where the lavor to wash is and also the altar of sacrifice is located. We must be baptized and we must make this flesh sacrifice in order to allow the High Priest enter into our lives.

  15. 9:28 so Christ was once offered. To bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation

  16. Hebrews 9 : 2-3 (Amp) For a tabernacle ( tent) was erected , in the outer division or compartment of which were the lampstand and the showbread set forth. [ This portion is called the Holy Place. [3] But [ inside] beyond the second curtain or veil, [ there stood another] tabernacle [ division] known as the Holy of Holies. [ Exod.26:31] And make a veil of blue, purple, scarlet [ stiff] and fine twinned linen, skillfully worked with cherubim on it. You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold hooks on four sockets of silver. Outside the veil of the Testmony [ between the Holy and the Most Holy Place in the Tent Meeting. The Lord is our lamp , He is the Light of the World. We need to build a Altar of repentance and prayer to reach this world. What is it Lord that can do for you today !

  17. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

I’m thankful for the blood of Jesus, without it we would have no hope. In the old testament blood was sprinkled on the door post to protect those inside the house when the angel of death visited. Later blood was used as the priest entered the holy place it was sprinkled for the remission of the people, but had to repeated every year.

Thankfully now, because of the sacrifice that Jesus made at Calvary, His blood is applied to our lives at water baptism in Jesus Name. His blood is our lifeline. Without it, we would not have the hope of everlasting life.

I must not take for granted the opportunity Jesus gave to me by applying His blood to my life, cleansing me from all unrighteous, by which I am made righteous in him.

  18. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
    Hebrews 9:28 KJV

…He will come again…to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.
    Hebrews 9:28 NLT

…so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    1 Corinthians 1:7 HCSB

For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people, instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
    Titus 2:11‭-‬13 HCSB

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
    2 Timothy 4:8 KJV

People who are waiting for Him live differently. They don’t put their hope in earthly things. They are not spiritually lazy or aloof. They stop procrastinating and start preparing for the Kingdom to come.

Priorities are different. Holiness becomes more important than happiness. Souls are more important than super bowls and promotions and bigger toys.

He is only coming back for those who are looking for Him, eagerly waiting and expecting Him. Waiting means we are preparing ourselves and others for that day. It means that we are coveting earnestly the best gifts so that we can bring more people to Him. It means we are denying ungodliness and living righteously at all times.

Does that describe me? If not, I need to do something about it right now.

  19. In the case of a will it is necessary to prove that the person who made it has died, for a will means nothing while the person who made it is alive; it comes into effect only after his death.
    Hebrews 9:16‭-‬17 GNB

God’s will was written and the shedding of Christ blood says that we inherit it. Because Christ was the living God we are able to inherit his perfect will through Christ. So..” thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven” could also mean his testament/last wishes for us is the inheritance of heaven.

Thy – in this case it refers to God
Will- 1.the thing that one desires or ordains.
2.a legal document containing instructions as to what should be done with one’s money and property after one’s death.
    Be- 1.exist
    2.occur; take place
    Done- 1.no longer happening, finished

So… God’s will exist or takes place when Christ died for us on the cross when he was finished. Talking in a sense of his human life that was taken. But even Christ decreed it is finished before he died. So he signed the document of our inharitence.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
    John 19:30 KJV

  20. 17 The will goes into effect only after the person’s death. While the person who made it is still alive, the will cannot be put into effect. NLT

There are some things that must die before the benefit can take place.
Paul said I DIE DAILY. First, if you want anything to happen, repent, allow your flesh to die to allow your spirit to reign in your life.

  21. 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

So I looked at this and wondered to myself for a minute, what does this verse mean by dead works? If you’re dead you are definitely not working so that is not what it means. I believe dead works refers to spiritually dead works. Works that are not lifting up the kingdom, works that are glorifying the world and not Jesus. That doesnt mean dont think about your job, you need to do that. But dont think about tasks that Jesus doesnt want you to do or are distracting you away from the work of God. Anything that is distracting you away from Jesus needs to be put away because you dont need it in your life.

  22. I Love To Worship The Lord
CLEANSED FROM ACTS THAT LEAD TO DEATH
    (9:14)
The O.T. sacrifices worked externally. Christs sacrifice works internally. With a cleansed consciences we are no longer bound by guilt to our past. We are no longer overwhelmed with a sense of our inadequacy. Our past sins are gone and we are released to serve God.
Never question whether Jesus did enough

  23. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Thank God for the Blood!! His blood shed was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and for His Kingdom to come!

  24. The great four walls of your heart.

    11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Is it easier to build a building or to build a man? I am in construction and have been all my life. It has become fairly simple for me to build almost anything out of wood. It took many years of loyalty and practice to understand and to do with excellence but now it is good. Because we can build excellent buildings and structures with our hands, God is not impressed with it because he made the hands that build the buildings. God delivered his Spirit unto mans Hearst because it is impossible for us to do. Only God himself can write on your heart. Now what does impress God is when we allow him to use us to move men’s hearts toward him. It is impossible for us but with God anything is possible. So this unseen tabernacle that God chooses to reside is not made in a perfect sanctuary or great collusion rather in an imperfect mans heart. This is why we have to have not only his spirit in our hearts but also his word. Because if you have the spirit without the word you will be all velocity with no direction and if you have the word without the sport it you are all dorection and no velocity. So this tabernacle is layer out upon our hearts and all the peices are there. We just have to know the word to know how to use it.

  25. How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
    Hebrews 9:14 KJV
Jesus is son of God and son of man. He was fully God and fully man. Here we see His humanity in that He shed blood as the Christ or anointed one and His Divinity in that He offered that precious blood through the eternal Spirit of God!!! Hear O Israel the Lord our God is ONE!

  26. Hebrews 9:28 (kjv), “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
Hebrews 9:28 (cev), “So Christ died only once to take away the sins of many people. But when he comes again, it will not be to take away sin. He will come to save everyone who is waiting for him.”

Jesus has already come to offer Himself as a sacrifice for our sins. The second time He comes, He will come to save those who are waiting for Him, and we will glad and rejoice in His salvation.
Isaiah 25:8-9 says, “8) He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. 9) And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our GOD; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

  27. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

All too often , we allow ourselves to forget the great price that Jesus paid that we might have a chance to spend eternity with him. We must lead others in living a holy lifestyle, and a repentant life, seeking His Kingdom first.

  28. Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

    • God had ordinances of divine service and a wonderful sanctuary, there was a tabernacle the first and the bread which is called the sanctuary

  29. 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Scripture teaches that every person is guilty of sin (Ro 3:23) and that the price that must be paid for sin is death (Ro 6:23). Under the old covenant of the law, animal sacrifices were made to God to fulfill this requirement (Lev 17:11). Blood was shed for the atonement of sins. Yet, although sacrifices were made daily, it was impossible to maintain a clean slate with God. No animal sacrifice could ever pay the total price. Through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, a new covenant has been made between God and mankind (Lk 22:20). Under this new covenant blood is still required for the atonement of sins, but the blood is that of the Son of God. Through his death and resurrection, Christ paid completely for our transgressions – now and forever- making it possible for us to come to God with clean consciences and enter into relationship with him (Heb 9:14,Ro 8:1-4).

  30. 10 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

There is power in the blood. It holds the power to have us cleanse us and lead us to Him.

  31. “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We need to live by faith and the measure of faith God has given us. Faith can get us a long ways but we also need to put faith with action. We can have faith but with no action it doesn’t help us much. Love and faith in action can make a difference!

  32. “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.”(Psalms‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭NLT)

Knowing the name of Jesus will change your life because when you trust in him there’s no shadow he won’t light up or mountain in your life he won’t climb up he’s coming after us. God will never desert his people or leave us in the middle of a storm when we search for him with all our hearts there’s no wall he won’t kick down or lie he won’t tear down he’s coming us.

  33. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Thank god for his sacrifice on the cross. His self-less love towards us was displayed so that we can enter boldly into his throne of grace.

  34. “so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.”
    ‭‭

  35. “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:22, 28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Oh the precious blood of Jesus. It is greater and more powerful than anything I can imagine. It is the reason we are saved. It covers our sins and washes us clean. It is greater than any sin we could ever commit or problem we can ever face. Thank you Jesus for the blood!

  36. “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
I am so grateful for the Ultimate sacrifice that was made. God robed himself in the flesh and became the lamb sacrificed for all the world. Thankful that I have been redeemed!

  37. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

We will all be judged for every action we did. It is God that paid the price that we do not have to suffer. He is our redeemer but also He is our judge.

  38. “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we live by faith we walk by faith. Walking by faith means remission of sin. Walking by faith means gathering together in a simile of saints. Walking by faith means desiring not sin. It means having compassion. It means not turning back to the things that were before. It means loving your neighbor.

  39. 27And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, 28so also Christ died once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

We died once, and so did Jesus. Our physical bodies died, but our soul lives on. Their won’t be a second chance to be able to repent, so live for God and wait patiently for his return.
