Hebrews 10

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

  1. Verses 19-21 MSG “So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body.” These verses reminded me of what Rev. Morgan spoke about last night, where the path is cleared for God’s glory to flow as we breakforth in Jesus name.

Verses 24-25 ERV “We should think about each other to see how we can encourage each other to show love and do good works. We must not quit meeting together, as some are doing. No, we need to keep on encouraging each other. This becomes more and more important as you see the Day getting closer.” These verses reminded me of what we learned in Sunday School yesterday, as we should minister to (serve/care and attend to the needs of) one another.

Verse 39 ERV “But we are not those who turn back and are lost. No, we are the people who have faith and are saved.” As the song says “I can’t stop praising His name and I won’t turn back now”.

  2. 39. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Now is not the time, nor are we the people to draw back, but now is the time, and we are the people to not only Break Through, but also to Break Forth!

  3. Steadfast in the faith with patience , doing what God wants us to do … Break Forth full of Faith

    Hebrews 10:32-36, 39

Remember the days when you first learned the truth. You had a hard struggle with much suffering, but you continued strong. Sometimes people said hateful things to you and mistreated you in public. And sometimes you helped others who were being treated that same way. Yes, you helped them in prison and shared in their suffering. And you were still happy when everything you owned was taken away from you. You continued to be happy, because you knew that you had something much better—something that would continue forever. So don’t lose the courage that you had in the past. Your courage will be rewarded richly. You must be patient. After you have done what God wants, you will get what he promised you. But we are not those who turn back and are lost. No, we are the people who have faith and are saved.

God will forgive us, but how many times. We are His people and He is our one true living God. As a people we tend to pull God out of His toy chest when something bad happens and we want to pretty much blame somebody. I know I’ve been guilty of that one. I would get so mad at God for taking my family; then I would have to step back and ask why. It was their time; we don’t know the hour in which our flesh will be called back to the earth. I felt a lot of times that I had to recompense myself to Jesus. Now that I have fully entered into His gates and am becoming stronger in Christ Jesus. The recompense is becoming less. There are still cloudy days, but God is working them through me. As Rev. Morgan said last not. We have the breakthrough; now it is time to BREAK FORTH!! Thank you Jesus for receiving me into your house and cleansing this wretched soul.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

  5. Remember those early days after you first saw the light? Those were the hard times! Kicked around in public, targets of every kind of abuse—some days it was you, other days your friends. If some friends went to prison, you stuck by them. If some enemies broke in and seized your goods, you let them go with a smile, knowing they couldn’t touch your real treasure. Nothing they did bothered you, nothing set you back. So don’t throw it all away now. You were sure of yourselves then. It’s still a sure thing! But you need to stick it out, staying with God’s plan so you’ll be there for the promised completion. It won’t be long now, he’s on the way; he’ll show up most any minute. But anyone who is right with me thrives on loyal trust; if he cuts and runs, I won’t be very happy. But we’re not quitters who lose out. Oh, no! We’ll stay with it and survive, trusting all the way.

Ok, this Just left a red mark, because I was just slapped by the word 😄, This has always been my mentality to run, God would start to do a work in my life and what would happen, It could be the smallest of things, and I’m out, that dont just apply to my spiritual life, my whole life was a marathon! I want to be a survivor, I want to be like a goat:
The feet of mountain goats maintain traction when climbing using cloven hooves with a hard outer shell and soft, flexible inner pads, as well as slip-stopping dewclaws.

    Psalm 18:33
He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places.
I cant be satisfied with where I am now! I have to keep striving, stay the course, this isn’t the time to look back, to give up, it’s no time to be defeated, it’s no time to get discouraged, it’s time to let go of the carnal thoughts and desires and grab ahold to the things of God, love the things he loves! Do his work!
Souls, Souls, Souls, that’s kingdom work!

  6. 23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. (NLT)

It’s time for breaking forth – let’s encourage one another to continue in boldness and proclaim His Word!

  7. Hebrews 10 :12-13 (Amp) Where this One [ Christ] after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins
[ that shall avail for all time, say down at the right hand of God. [13] Then to wait until His enemies should be made a stood beneath His feet.
[Ps. 110:1 ] The Lord [ God] says to My Lord [ The Messiah] , Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool. Jesus said to him , You have stated [ the fact] . More than that, I tell you; You will in the future see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Almighty and coming on the clouds of the clouds of the sky. I saw in the night visions, and behold, on the clouds of Heaven came One like a Son a man , and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him.Daniel spirit was grieved and anxious within me; and the visions of my head alarmed and agitated me. Now that we have had a break through , Now it time to go fourth ! Keep on serving God. Go !

  8. 35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

We can have confidence in the hope of salvation, if we are following God’s will for our lives and obeying his Word.

  9. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins

There isn’t enough rules I can follow or sacrifice we can make, there’s nothing in this physical world that we can do to bring us closer to God. Sacrifices in the old testament atonement for sin watch as they were about obedience and pushing the send forward the Christ to come. The only thing that’s going to draw us closer to God is our obedience to his word and our communication with him.

  10. Hebrews 10

9-21 So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body.

    SIMPLY JESUS THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

22-25 So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.

Thank you for unity and a place where love is expressed. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen so much love like I seen last night. Years of hurt doubt rejection all brought before the throne of God. Unity brought a spontaneous victory. A body of believers persevered in worship to break forth and send the intruder of darkness back to where he belonged. Unity in worship unity in perseverance unity helping others unity in travail.
Oh what an army of love.

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
    1 Thessalonians 5:11 | ESV

Colossians 3:14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

  11. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

I need you, and you need me.

We need each other, to help one another. We cannot do this alone. Yes, God is the one who saved us, however he also gave us a great gift, each other. A Kingdom is not made up of one or two people, but it is many towns and villages and great cities. How can we say we like to be alone,if we are apart of His Kingdom ? For His Kingdom to be established we must have a love for one another, and for the Lost to receive them into the Kingdom. Together we will stand shoulder to shoulder, hand and hand, to stand firm on the Words of God. First the Kingdom

  12. From this chapter I learned that we have to bring our sacrifices and offerings to the Lord. If we make a pledge to pay our tithes of pay offering we should do them, beacause it is for a very good cause. Whenever you bring you tithes and offering to him it puts a big smile on his face, beacause he know as that you respect the church and the things that you pledge for. So day let’s not forget to step out of all of the worldly things and just give God a little time. Go reach for more believers POFW😁😁😁

  13. So Much More

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

It is not enough fo runs to go and to have good church. We want to have good church and baste in the Holy Ghost as often as it is possible but it is not even the beginning of what God wants for us. There is so much more to do and to experience. I thought that I would never feel joy and fulfillment as much as I did when I received the Holy Ghost myself until I saw that there was even more and so much more than my initial experience. There is nothing that compares with receiving the Holy Ghost for the first time but the closest second that you will find is helping someone else to receive it and watching their life change. This is the so much more that this scripture is talking about. It is right to come to church and believe together but it is not all we have to do. There are so many more just in our city that need Jesus. There is so much more to do.

  14. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

The greatest thing that a Christian can have is Faith! There are going to be times while living for God, when there may not seem to be faith available, but we have to activate it and push forth with the presence of God. The scripture tells us that we are all dealt a measure of faith and we need faith to please God. Sometimes when the going gets tough we need to begin to obey the word. Sometimes when we don’t have enough faith we need to be obedient. It will help when our faith falls short.

The second greatest thing we possess is the ability to gather together with like-minded believers to lift up the precious name of Jesus. When we pray for one another and encourage those that need to be encouraged, preach the word of God, it will help activate our faith no matter what we are going through. I’m thankful God brought my family and I to such a great church and to have a pastor and church family to help build my faith. That is why it is very important to come to church.

Praise God! Hallelujah to the blessed name of Jesus.

    I love the Kingdom!

  15. iLove the Kingdom in Action
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

I just got a revelation as I read this verse. Now, y’all don’t be afraid of the word “revelation”. The word simply means the light came on.

Islam came onto the world scene around 600AD by a poor merchant boy by the name of Mohammad. Mohammad took parts of the Jewish Bible and adopted many of it’s laws and regulations and started forcing them onto his converts to his new religion. For example, the rituals of washing and cleaning were adopted into Islam. Also, the Jewish dietary law (such as not eating pork) was adopted. The revelation comes here however…Islam does not have a religious system of animal sacrifice set in place. In the Koran, it speaks of sacrifice, but never commands animal sacrifice. the Bible states that it is not possible that the blood of animals could take away our sins…We have Jesus! But what does Islam have… They have the spirit of Cain. This is the revelation of why. Cain shed the blood of Abel because God required blood. Cain might have thought that the blood of Abel would be the “perfect” sacrifice to God. He did it in spite. This is the same spirit that Islam works in. The Koran does not mandate animal sacrifice but it does encourage the “sacrifice” of oneself to “kill” the infidels. This in the mind of Islam gives them God’s atonement for their sins just as Cain thought it force God’s hand of atonement for himself.

    Conclusion:
It is impossible for ANYTHING other then the blood of Jesus to take away sin.

  16. 26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27 There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.

Jesus help those who have heard and not obeyed. That is the beauty from God because He gave us the liberty to choose what we wanted. We can’t blame Him for what happens to us because His Word is very clear on what and what not to do. He has given us the power to take back what the devil stole from us. His Word is very clear and no excuse to burn in hell, Jesus is all about love and having a relationship with him not a set of rules or punishment.

  17. “Remember those early days after you first saw the light? Those were the hard times! Kicked around in public, targets of every kind of abuse—some days it was you, other days your friends. ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:32-39‬ ‭MSG‬‬
The first church didn’t put value on the goods of this world. Their real treasure was untouchable. The same must be for the church of today. Nothing in this world is worth losing out with God.

  18. “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The reason we can stand strong is because He who promised is faithful. It is far better to trust in His faithfulness instead of ours!

  19. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    BREAK FORTH

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

The SPIRIT of GOD has challenged us to Keep Moving Forward. Seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD is Mission to accomplish for this year. While some are progressing well, others are falling away. Because seeking is a commitment that becomes a “PASSION” or a “DUTY”. To SEEK FIRST The Kingdom is either a “Priviledge” or a “Problem”.

We are grated greater insight here into the heart of GOD in regard to progress in HIS Kingdom. On Sunday Night we were challenged to Break Through to Break Forth. Today we read that the apostle speaking on behalf of the The KING declares that “his soul has NO pleasure in those who “draw back”

Draw Back – 5288. hypostello; to withhold under (out of sight), i.e. (reflexively) to cower or shrink, (figuratively) to conceal (reserve): — draw (keep) back, shun, withdraw.

The 2 words “draw back” are the one Greek word “hypostello” and indicates a cowardice attitude and a retreat mindset. Both oppose the advancing verb of SEEK. Lets GO! Find someone to pray with and for and bring them to the house of GOD.

How do we maintain this quest to seek?

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

KINGDOM PATIENCE for the PROMISE. We must Trust JESUS and those in authority over us.

  20. 36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

This endurance we have need of is built only through the testing and trying of our faith.

The most difficult and discouraging trials are the ones where we are to follow God’s Will with our promise no where in sight. But our faithfulness during this time will attest to our obedience, submission and the level of our spiritual maturity.

We will be the ones who endure on and receive the promises of God! We not draw back, we will not fall into our old life of past sin. But we will break forth!

  21. 3 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Steadfastness is a christian characteristic that should always be apart of our lives. It not only grounds us in the faith but it also aids us in grounding others. As others see us doing the will of God it will provoke them o good words. As we see the good in others it is important that we encourage and uplift them.

  22. “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:35-36‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Our trust and faithfulness to God will bring great rewards. Everything we do for the Lord it will have rewards in heaven.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
    Colossians 3:23-24 | NIV

  23. Hebrews 10:22-23, 35, & 38-39
    22) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
    23) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised).

    35) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

    38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
    39) But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Now is not the time to “draw back” from God, but it is the time to “draw near” to Him.
Now is not the time to “waver” in your faith or “cast away” your confidence in God, but it is the time to “hold fast” to the profession of our faith. For we are of them that “believe” to the saving of the soul.

    So…
    Draw Near to God
    Hold Fast to your Faith
    Be Confident in God
“For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (vs.37).

  24. 35 So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! 36 Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

Isn’t it amazing how the Word of God will give you exactly what you need, at the exact time you need it.

    “Patient Enurance”

“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;” Romans 12:12

  25. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

Jesus paid the ultimate price, no longer do we need to sacrifice animals for our sins. Jesus was the lamb that was slain and The lion of Judah. When Jesus came down to this earth and sacrifice himself We made it easier for us to find forgiveness no longer having to sacrifice animals. God has given us a whole set of armor, That is at our fingertips. We need to have a sound mind clean heart and a pure spirit.

  26. AMP = A New and Living Way
19 Therefore, [c]believers, since we have confidence and full freedom to enter the Holy Place [the place where God dwells] by [means of] the blood of Jesus, 20 by this new and living way which He initiated and opened for us through the veil [as in the Holy of Holies], that is, through His flesh, 21 and since we have a great and wonderful Priest [Who rules] over the house of God, 22 let us approach [God] with a true and sincere heart in unqualified assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; 24 and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, 25 not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.

Our freedom and liberty in the spiritual things was purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. I have heard many people who have walked away from the separation unto God say they are now free and liberated. However, true liberation comes when we are washed by his blood and we have full access to His Kingdom for whatever we have need of.

Let’s not be fooled or fall into deception to think that there is liberty outside of Jesus. It may be pleasurable for a season, but then cometh the judgement.

I want to take full advantage of the freedom and liberty I have to walk in the spirit and become more and more like Jesus Christ everyday.

  27. “For by that one offering he forever made perfect those WHO ARE BEING made holy…

“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will CONTINUE to do God’s will. THEN you will receive all that he has promised…

“But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. WE ARE THE FAITHFUL ONES, whose souls will be saved.”
    Hebrews 10:14‭, ‬36‭-‬36‭, ‬39 NLT

The KJV says in verse 14 that “He hath perfected forever them that ARE sanctified,” but the NLT says, “… those who ARE BEING made holy.” This second translation is closer to the literal Greek which translates the verb as “being sanctified.” This verb, “hagiázō” (Strong’s #37), means ” to hallow…to sanctify…to withdraw from fellowship with the world by first gaining fellowship with God.”

In verse 14, “hagiázō” is written as a present passive particle, meaning that the subject of the verb is receiving the continuous action of being made holy. In contrast, “perfected forever” is in the perfect indicative case. It is an assertion of fact that has already been completed but has continuing results.

In other words, Jesus has completed forever His part of making us holy and acceptable before God, but the process of sanctification is ongoing in us. Jesus, once and for all time, paid the price for our sins, but we were not immediately and for all time declared holy. Rather, the sanctification process began in us through the new birth and continues in us until we receive the promise of salvation (through death or rapture), HAVING DONE THE WILL OF GOD AND HAVING ENDURED UNTO THE END.

If we turn back, however, we trample under foot the blood of Christ, negating and denouncing both the price paid for, and the ongoing process of, our sanctification. Therefore, “there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain [sure, undisputed] fearful looking for of judgment,” (vss 26-27).

Simply put, Christ’s sacrifice purchased for us the opportunity and the responsibility of being made holy. Our part is to first accept the opportunity (through participation in the new birth), and then to accept the responsibility (through faithful participation in our ongoing sanctification). Yes, Jesus paid it all, but unless we apply it and remain faithful to it, we have believed in vain.

“Now, I am making known to you, brethren, the good news…, which also you took to yourselves, in which also you have taken a stand, through which you ARE BEING SAVED, …assuming that you are holding it fast unless you believed in vain…,” (1 Cor. 15:1-2 Wuest Expanded Translation).

“…He is Lord of Lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
    Revelation 17:14 KJV

  28. “…No matter how many sacrifices were offered year after year, they never added up to a complete solution. If they had, the worshipers would have gone merrily on their way, no longer dragged down by their sins. But instead of removing awareness of sin, when those animal sacrifices were repeated over and over they actually heightened awareness and guilt….”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:2‬-3 ‭MSG‬‬

Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice, giving mankind an opportunity to turn away from sin and never look back. But many of us even after being baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit still allow the devil to throw our past in our face making us feel guilty and unworthy of God’s promises for our life. Just remember, the only reason you should be looking back is to give thanks to God for pulling us out of a pit of death!

  29. “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.”

    -Hebrews 10:26-27 KJV

When one willingly sins, they willingly partner with the adversary of God. Such partnership will bring a terrible judgement and fiery indignation. Don’t be deceived, sin is evil no matter how pleasing it may look and will lead you to an eternal destruction.

  30. As the Scriptures say, “God is coming soon! It won’t be very long. The people God accepts will live because of their faith. But he isn’t pleased with anyone who turns back.” We are not like those people who turn back and get destroyed. We will keep on having faith until we are saved.
    Hebrews 10:37‭-‬39

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
    Philippians 3:13‭-‬14 KJV

  31. the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

    21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

    32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

We must not forsake the assembling of ourselves because we Draw strength from one another and from the preaching of the word comes forth faith

  32. “It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.’(‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:8‬ ‭NLT)

See Abraham trusted God with all his heart and soul and mind he had no doubt inside of him so he obeyed. When God called Abraham

  33. to leave everything behind and let go of everyone of his possessions. He had to step out in faith and leave home go to another land that he had no clue but he stand on what God told him what he was going to give him as his inheritance.

  34. Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
    Hebrews 10:23‭-‬25 NLT

Iron sharpens iron. It is in this last days that we need to keep each other’s fire burning exhorting and encouraging one another. We need to look out after each other for we are all part of the body. Let our conversations and the meditation of our hearts be for profit.

  35. “But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins year after year. For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said to God, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer.”
    ‭‭

The blood of bulls and lambs cannot take away suns that is why Jesus came into the world

  36. 34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Yes we need to be humble but we need to be confident in Jesus because he has given us power to pray over the sick, cast out demons and do works in his name.

  37. let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
    Hebrews 10:22 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/heb.10.22.NLT

The mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is so sweet and precious. It is something that we don’t deserve and something we could never do for ourselves. Thank you Jesus for forgiving me and washing away all of my sins. I bless you Lord

  38. Vs-18
Now when sins have once been forgiven and forgotten there is no need to offer more sacrifices to get rid of them
Tjis reminds us that under the New Covenant sins is forgiven once truly. Forgiven no more sacrifice is required

  39. 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

We cannot please God without faith. To live by faith means we must learn how to use it daily. Little faith can become great faith. If someone draws back, to loose faith or become doubtful of God, then they displease him. This is why we much hold fast, and fight the good fight of faith. When everyone around us may think it’s impossible we lean on the power of our God.

  40. We need more Perseverance

So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭35-36‬ NLT)

Let it drive you. Seeking and doing the work of God should be from your and you should have a want to while doing it. You should want more then you want to breathe. Cause you know the reward after you know others won’t experience it. Work work work. Not stop nor never give up

  42. Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering ; for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

    God is so good

  43. 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

We know we have to be faithful to God’s house because it is part of His plan for our growth especially during these last days. Yet, verse 24 gives us other reasons for going to church: to consider one another-the more you see someone the more you will consider them, think about them and hopefully pray for them. To provoke unto love and good works. The church gives us more opportunity to build relationships (love) and to get involved in some form of ministry (good works). The word provoke in Strong’s Bible concordance means incitement to good. The word incite means to stir, encourage, or urge on; stimulate or prompt to action so let’s keep encouraging and prompting each other to be not weary in well doing…for in due season, we shall reap!

  44. Christ died for our sins. The enemy wants you to believe that you can’t be free, but whom the son set free is free indeed. Don’t be bothered with what the devil wants you to believe, be encouraged because our God has already defeated him.

  45. “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!”(Hebrews‬ ‭10:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

This verse encourages us not to give up on our faith. We need to remind ourselves how far Gods favor has brought us in order to build up our confidence and trust in the Lord. We should keep pushing forward and remember at the end of the race there will be our reward.

  46. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

If it wasn’t for the blood of Jesus we wouldn’t be where we are today as a church. Today we should really examine our sacrifices, are they what Gods expecting from us? Probably not? It has to be a genuinel sacrifice one that is difficult to give. It can still never be more than what Christ gave us but still give him a piece of you because he gave you ALL of him.

  47. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

HALELUJAH!!! FOR THE BLOOD THAT WASHES WHITE AS SNOW!!!
I would have no more goats if I had to sacrifice for all my sins……..

  48. 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

I love reading passages about how sacrifices have changed from the Old Testament to the New Testament. And verses such as verse 11 “. . . the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins”. Explaining why we have changed from sacrificing animals to God becoming the ultimate sacrifice.

34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

  49. 32 Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ.j Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. 33 Sometimes you were exposed to public ridicule and were beaten, and sometimes you helped others who were suffering the same things.

Yes remember when you first received the holy spirit. That fire and desire you had to learn, to serve and to give in the Kingdom of God. Now, what has happened to that passion? The fire has dwindled. We, and I need to find that passion again, and restart that fire, build it hot and big.

  50. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

    16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Now that these laws are written in our hearts and minds we can feel the conviction of our sins and repent for them. He places our inequities before us and then gives us the power to over come them. Not only that we can be completely forgiven and they disappear. Say whaaat? It’s pretty awesome

  51. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
