Job 3

After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

And Job spake, and said,

Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.

Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.

Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.

Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:

10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother’s womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.

11 Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

12 Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

14 With kings and counsellors of the earth, which build desolate places for themselves;

15 Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver:

16 Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light.

17 There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.

18 There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.

19 The small and great are there; and the servant is free from his master.

20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

22 Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?

23 Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?

24 For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.

25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

  1. 20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

    21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

22 Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?

Like many of us that have gone through the sorrow of pain and torment, the lost of many loved ones and most of all the we have in possessions, the carnal flesh is no longer wanting to have to feel pain. The soul of Job as described in the scripture here states he felt he would be better off dead instead of having to live without his family. I am sure many of us have felt that way many times. Sometimes I am reminded that what does not kill us will only make us stronger.

I am reminded the psalmist declared in chapter 5 of psalms:
5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

But knowing that the arms of god will surround you and keep you in the midst of a trial such as this. We have to remember that pain is temporary. No matter what we have going on in our life please remember what Isaiah penned:
    40:29-31
29He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

    I love the Kingdom!

  2. 3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.
4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it

Job was human after all, even though he refused to curse God and die and still worship is Lord after everything that happened, he could only take so much. It’s understandable for him to feel this way seeing that everybody seemed to have turned their back on him. Sometimes we get a high standard for ourselves that doesn’t allow us to be human and feel grief or displeasure. There is a season and a time for everything and feeling sad during trouble is one of them. It doesn’t make it okay to stay in that mindset but we are allowed a time to mourn and grieve. It’s natural and merely refective to have these feelings at first but what matter is that we don’t stay there and feel sorry for ourselves, that we pick ourselves back up and worship anyhow

  3. For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
    Job 3:24‭-‬25 KJV

Job lived his life like anyone who was safe, he lived everyday for God because he trusted in him, and he lived everyday for his family. he made sure to make sure they was right in their heart as he gave offerings for them because the might have sinned in their heart, so I beleive that he had a feeling something wasnt right, but he went through his day. His grief was great, and he was very sad and in this circumstance some woulda simply laid down and cried and just walked away, but Job even in his hurt, pain, grief never blamed God. I almost feel like he blamed himself! It takes alot of trust and faith to not blame God in this situation. I love the example he gives by still maintaining his integrity.

Oh man, have I had these days. Wake up and just be in that mood where it didn’t matter. Just shut myself up in the darkness and let it be that. Nothing or nobody around; just me with empty thoughts. Yes I have let my mind trick me into darkness before, who’d would have thunk it, Haha. Man the mind can be so treacherous sometimes. I now know why we need to bring it into subjection. If it’s not kept on the Kingdom, man can it just run away from you. Lord I need you to consume my mind and heart with the things concerning your Kingdom and the rest shall be added to me. You know though in all this: yes Job cursed the day, but still never cursed God. How can I get to that point in my life. Oh, wait duh; all I have to do is speak to Jesus daily. Thank you Jesus for this word today.

  5. “There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Can a sinner hear Temptation? Or does he just roll with it?
One preacher once said “temptation is a hellish shriek our ears cannot hear” maybe temptation is barely noticed at all when someone lives in sin because that person is already living comfortable. A prisoner of sin may not always realize what it takes to get their release from the shekels and chains that have them bound. The key to those chains is the word of God. The keys to those shekels is prayer and fasting. It’s our job to save those who cannot hear the voice of the oppressor. We must pray for deaf ears to be unclogged and blind eyes to be opened so that they may all receive truth when we come with the word of our testimony.

  6. 11. Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

If Job had never been born or had died at birth; had he not become the greatest in the east and still remained faithful to God, we wouldn’t have his example to live by or give us hope when things go bad. Everything that happens is not always about us. God can use what happens to us to help other people we may never know. It’s not about me, but about His Kingdom.

  7. Why is life given to those with no future, those God has surrounded with difficulties?
    Job 3:23 NLT

Gods got the grand master plan and he’s got your life held in the palm of His hand. We all must endure trials and difficulties so embrace the moment and rest in peace knowing “my God does all things well!” Rejoice because greater is coming!

  8. “Oh, why give light to those in misery, and life to those who are bitter? They long for death, and it won’t come. They search for death more eagerly than for hidden treasure. They’re filled with joy when they finally die, and rejoice when they find the grave.
    Job 3:20‭-‬22 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.3.20-22.NLT

My God! To want to be taken at any moment because the pain is too great.. We can’t focus on the devastation around us, no matter how great the magnitude. It needs attention but not to wallow in. We have to remember that even in the storms of this life what the psalmist said…

    Psalms 30:5
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

That’s a promise from God!!! Joy comes in the morning! If your going through the darkness of a valley right now just hold on! Your morning is coming!!! Jesus Name!!!

  9. Job 3- 3-4 [Amp] And Job said let the day perish wherein I was born , and the night which announced, There is a man- child conceive.
[4] Let that day be darkness ! May not God above regard it, nor light shine upon it. Here Job became human didn’t even curse God and die. And still worship for all that the things he has been through.
We are human we will make mistakes in our lives. Don’t set around and feel sorry for yourselfs . Just repent and pick up yourselves and dust your feet off, And praise God for all he has done for us. And what he is about to do next. Thank you Jesus.

  11. “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

His greatest fears came true. He had always feared being alone and having his family taken away. In one fell swoop everything was gone. Even though his fears were made true, he still trusted God.

  12. 20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

    21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

Job’s trouble did not come because he had lost faith in God. He felt and feared that God had lost faith in him.

  13. 23 Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?
24 For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.
25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

We all go through things, tabt we do not understand what is happening. This is why we must, must keep His Kingdom First. Our help and trust comes from the Lord. Although we will not understand everything that happens, my faith and hope is in Christ Jesus.

  14. Job 3

20-23 “Why does God bother giving light to the miserable,
why bother keeping bitter people alive,
Those who want in the worst way to die, and can’t,
who can’t imagine anything better than death,
Who count the day of their death and burial
the happiest day of their life?
What’s the point of life when it doesn’t make sense,
when God blocks all the roads to meaning?

At sometime or another the majority of this world has asked this question. I admit I’ve been to the place of these exact feelings. Forgive me if that disappoints you and makes you think less of me. Yet when I lay before Gid with my face to the ground s d not a test left to shed His voice speaks and says He is the one in control . He is the beginning and the end. If I’d never faced the trials of this life I would not know the real meaning of His Strength in my most weakest moments of life. He has been there every time . Yes questions come yes I ask why yes Iyes to all the above. Oh but I know a gentle Savior who cares so much . If we are not faced with adversity how can we truly tell the world THERE IS A GOD WH REALLY WILL GET YOU THROUGH! He is breath Hw is Life He is the reason to Live so others can know Him really know Him …….in Jesus name I pray that each of us will allow God to use us even in the midst of our deepest pains. Jesus is “The Rest of the Story “. Job was afflicted and the story is to encourage not destroy…….

  15. At last Job spoke, and he cursed the day of his birth. I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.”
    Job 3:1‭, ‬26 NLT

Job a man of integrity didn’t curse GOD. But he cursed the day of his birth. Job loved GOD, he had true relationship with the Lord daily!! His life meant nothing to him. Job displayed his true love for the Lord. How many if us can actually show the same? Trials come our way and the first thing people do is throw in the towel and walk away from GOD. We must know how to accept the good with the bad and remind yourself that GOD is still in control of all things. Endure the trials of life…endure until the end❤

  16. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

I believe if we are honest without selves, most of us have all had days that we have cursed. It could have been the day your car broke down, a death of a loved one, the day your parents announced they are getting divorced, the day you were fired, etc. I have had a few days that I would wish I could never have experienced. Each of the examples above are a milestone day in my life. At the time, similar to Job, these days were hell on earth. The following days, weeks and months were of similar anguish. However, looking back now – years later, I can see how they have changed the person I was into the person I am today.

Could I still be the same person I am today having not withstood these trials and hard times? I don’t believe so. Each life-event changes us; some for the better some for the worse. While we can get lost in the battle of the moment and curse our day – we must find within ourselves the knowledge that God has things in control. We may need to endure a hardship for a season as Job is doing. Or it may simply be life; a flat tire, broken washing machine, etc. Either way, praying the peace that passes all understanding when I im in the heat of the battle has always got me through.

  17. “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In chapter 1 we learned that Job loved his children very much. He loved his children so much that he sent up a sacrifice for them daily just to be on the safe side. This is the father that cared for his children and didn’t want to see any evil come to them. This fear was something he spoke out loud. One thing I have learned from this scripture is we must be careful with the words we speak out loud. If we have any fear or things that we dread we must take it to God and him alone. The enemy will take cheap shots anytime and any chance he can get.

“And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  18. 23 Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?

Job could see no good reason for the trials he was facing. But if he could see it through the eyes of God, he would understand that it had purpose behind it.

God was teaching Job to have complete reliance on Him.

He was putting Job in a place where he could soon help others.

God was setting him up to be blessed with more than he ever had before.

Often times when going through difficult situations we can’t seem to understand, we ask the question “why me?”. But if we would look at it through the eyes of faith and trust in Him, we would see that the purpose is greater than the pain.

  19. iLove the Kingdom in Action
25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Job right here confesses his fears have come upon him. What fears? The fear of something happening to his family and himself. Notice Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

We can take some good advice from this passage of scripture. Job 3:25 and Job 1:5 reveal to us that Job “greatly feared” that evil might come upon his house because of sin from his family. Job tried every thing he could to “prevent” evil from coming upon his house but he was unable to prevent it eventually. It still came. This is to all the parents out there who constantly “worry” about something bad happening to lil pookie. This is not saying you shouldn’t do everything in your power to keep your house blessed, but what I’m saying is why worry and have great fear over what “could” happen. Do all you can do and what happens…happens. It’s not Jobs fault his kids passed away. He did his part and deep inside he had a fear of something bad that might happen. The key is, Job did not backslide. I’ve seen it time and time again, when someone passes away folks some reason start backsliding. WHY? This is the reason…Define test.

A test does not make a person pass or fail. A test simply reveals what is in the inside of a person all along. When a pop quiz comes at school and you fail it, it’s not the test’s fault you failed…it’s your fault. When a test in life comes (no matter how hard it might be), if you fail the test it is not the situation’s (or person that hurt you’s) fault, the test only reveals what’s on the inside.

Nothing in this life is able to make a person backslide. Only we can allow ourselves to backslide of our on free will. Please quit with the excuses.

  20. 14 With kings and counsellors of the earth, which build desolate places for themselves;

15 Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver:

  21. 13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

There will be a place of rest for us one day. No matter the troubles that come upon us, we must still seek him first, search for why the test, and then wait upon him. If we don’t pass the test the first time, it will probably come again until his will is done.

  22. What’s the Point of Life
    Job 3:20-23 msg

Why does God bother giving light to the miserable, why bother keeping bitter people alive, those who want in the worst way to die, and can’t, who can’t imagine anything better than death , who count the day of their death and burial the happiest day of their life? What’s the point of life when it doesn’t make sense, when God blocks all the roads to the meaning?

Sufferings may be the very means which are needful to develop the true state of our soul. Such was the case with Job.

  23. May the day I was born perish… If only that day had turned to darkness! … If only darkness had taken that night away! … Why was I not stillborn; why didn’t I die as I came from the womb?
    Job 3:3‭-‬4‭, ‬6‭, ‬11 HCSB

Self-pity that genders a multitude of “if onlys” and “whys” is fruitless, pointless, and self-defeating.
No such speeches ever change current circumstances, and sorrow is never dissipated by a constant rehearsing of “what could have been” and “what should have been.”

We can never allow ourselves to become obsessed with self-pity. THE LAND of ME (continual focus on one’s own feelings) IS A MISERABLE PLACE TO BE. We might go there for brief visits from time to time for self-reflection, improvement, healing, and repentance. However, we should never dwell there overlong, lest we lose sight of the fact that this world is not about me.

Sorrow and grief are a part of life that cannot be ignored. We must face them. We must cry our tears and vent our sorrows, but it is far more productive to do so accepting that we cannot change the past and trusting that God has our future, than to do so wishing that things had been different. For, too many “if onlys” can quickly become accusations against God that may separate us from life-saving faith.

No matter the sorrow, the heartache, the bitter disappointment, we must hold on to God’s Word. He will never leave me, nor forsake me. He will not leave me comfortless. He will not put on me more than I can bear. He will not let the waters overflow me. He WILL come to me. He WILL uphold me with the right hand of His righteousness. He WILL work all things together for the good. He WILL set me upon a rock that is higher than I. And, He WILL wipe away all my tears.

Life is painful, but God is faithful. We cannot allow our sorrow to cloud our view of Him. There is always a bigger plan than our immediate circumstances allow us to see, but if we will focus on Jesus, He will walk us through our valleys and undergird us with His peace. Our sorrows will draw us closer to Him.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
    Psalms 23:4 KJV

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Fear not: for I am with thee…”
    Isaiah 43:2‭, ‬5a KJV

“Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.”
    Psalms 91:14‭-‬15 KJV

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
    Philippians 4:7 KJV

  24. 3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

Just another scripture proving there is life in the womb. In the changing of Jobs picture, he begins to curse the day of his birth and the night he was conceived.

In most cases when a problem arises, we must get to the ROOT, the moment of conception, to solve the issue. Aborting isn’t solving the problem cause the fetus, isn’t the root of the problem, its the step beforehand.

Same in our spiritual life, you will continue to have the consequences from the rooted sin. It isn’t until you fix the root, that the consequences are fixed.

  25. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Fear is as choice – we choose to fear or we choose to not be afraid. To everyone of us is given a measure of faith. We can either use that faith to fuel positive things in our lives, or we can feed our fear (giving faith to fear) and that fear will come to pass.

25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

This is why it is so important that we control our thoughts. We are who we are and what we are by what goes into our mind. We can change who we are and what we are by changing what goes into our mind.

Philippians 4:5 – 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

  26. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    WRONG FIRST

1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

I pondered today how often this has been my FIRST response of the day, or in a situation. I unfortunately found a few. But, they were not my end or my desire.

In my hunger to seek FIRST the Kingdom of GOD. I search for the FIRST mention, action or response. We read here about Job and his FIRST response. After this, SEVEN days of SILENCE. Job lost, misplaced or replaced his PRAISE for a curse.

I will need to preach this!

    What Went Wrong?

    From Sunday Night
    “The Picture Changes”

    Job went from:

Job 2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

    to

Job 3:1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

While Job still did not curse GOD; he cursed what GOD had made.

Understand I am not criticizing, only identifying the response of Job and if I should find myself feeling such grief, how I would, could or should respond.

What I learn from Job is this, when my FIRST response is not a PRAISE to GOD then I paint myself into a confusing and unclear picture. However when I Bless the LORD at all times and HIS praise is continually in my mouth, I have vision, hope and direction.

My assessment of Job is that he suffered the WRONG FIRST. When he opened his mouth, if somehow he could have filled it with the praise of only days earlier.

Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

This response will be the RIGHT FIRST in any situation and prevent us from failing at a WRONG FIRST mention, word or response.

If we fill our heart with PRAISE then will our heart be full also of PRAISE.

  27. Job 3:25-26
“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.”

Find your peace in God’s Word!
There was a time in my life where all I could think about was my troubles. I couldn’t focus on ANYTHING but MY situation. It was so bad I dropped out of college and was close to losing my job. And it was this moment in my life where I started reciting scriptures in my head wherever I went! And such an amazing peace came into my spirit!
Put the word of God in your heart. It will protect you and help you from losing your mind.

  28. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and which I was afraid of is come to me.
    ——-
Yea , he experienced it,and it happened to him …(that one thing He feared ……) and guess what? He went through it, yes, lots and lots of questions to the most High, but never, ever sinned against him. Never cursed God.

  29. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.
2 And Job spake, and said,

We must watch what we say. We can’t curse what God has crates even if we don’t like how it’s going. This is why it’s so important to keep the praise in every time because we don’t want to curse something that God has created. As a parent if I gave my child something that is so valuable to me and give it to them and them think it’s trash I would feel hurt. Before we curse something we have to pause and give Him praise and know that God has a purpose for everyone and everything.

  30. What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true.
    Job 3:25 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.3.25.NLT

Fear not! It seems as though fear is a strong thing that grips the hearts of people. To some it may even seem like those things they always come to pass. Almost, as if fearing it called it to be. God clearly tells us, commands, instructs for us not to fear. Doing a bit of research you can find that there are 365 mentions against not fearing in the bible. For every day of one’s life, we ought not to fear. Fear is the lack of God in our lives. It is the lack of His love. When we know Him and Know we are loved we have rest and trust in Him. His perfect love casts out fear.

  31. “Let the day of my birth be erased, and the night I was conceived. Let that day be turned to darkness. Let it be lost even to God on high, and let no light shine on it.
    Job 3:3‭-‬4 NLT
This is just an indicator of how intense the pain and suffering was for Job. His suffering was so bad, he cursed the day he was born. You never know how you will react to something like this until you go through it yourself. As far as Job knew, he just lost all his kids, all his flocks and wealth and most of his servants. Soon after that, he lost his health so he was definitely in a grief stricken state. We all make poor choices when we are at our worst. Yet, we know God will turn it all around for Job in the end because that’s how big and awesome our God is!

  32. Job 3:25-26
    25) For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
    26) I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

    “Yet trouble came”
Everyone experiences trials, troubles, loss, and grief at some point in their life, but as a child of God, we can experience His PEACE during these times.

Thank You JESUS for “You are our PEACE (Eph. 2:14a).”

  33. In this chapter, Job thought the picture was done, that all the pieces had fallen where they may. He somehow lost his way and cursed the day of his birth. There have been many days, when we too may have found ourselves at our wits end; but, we must learn from Job and his circumstances. God sees the big picture that we cannot. We must learn to trust Him and stay focused on Him. God has a plan and purpose for all things.

  34. “What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true. I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.””
    ‭‭

  35. When reading Job it reminds me that we all go through things. Some things are hard and hurts and others not so much but God is in control.

  36. Trouble will come your way, but don’t allow trouble to keep you from what God wants you to do. Let God lead you to where he would have you to go. Pur aside your own desires so that you can achieve everything God has set in place for you.

  37. The devil had already attacked Job and he started to said “ Even though life is not great he still has trust in the Lord.” Just because Job was having a bad day he still had trust and faith in God. Job always beloved in God throughout all of his situations and trials. Sometimes we should be like God and go to God about our troubles. If we are having a bad day or nothing is going right for us, we should not go to our friends and fight it out, but we should go to God and tell him all about it. You will never know if you are are having a bad grumpy day from just you, or God made your day like that to teach you a lesson. HAVE FAITH IN GOD POFW!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

  38. The Devil took all of Jobs things away from him what if he takes everything away from you .What would you do

  39. Anti Faith.

Worry is the opposite of faith or anit faith.

Job said what he had greatly feared had come upon him. This means he was dwelling on or worrying about something that had not even taken place yet. In these 36 years I’ve been on this earth I have learned a lot of things. There have been many close calls and plenty of should have been the ends, but I’m still here. I have tried to practice something that would do a lot of folks some good and this is it… don’t worry about things you can’t do anything about. If you can change the situation then do it but don’t lose your faith over something that has not even come to pass. Worry is poison to our faith. Worry will blind you from seeing the plans that God has for you. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. I will not worry about what could happen. I am in Gods hands and I’m good with that.

  40. ““Let the day of my birth be erased, and the night I was conceived. Let that day be turned to darkness. Let it be lost even to God on high, and let no light shine on it.(‭‭Job‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

  41. 1After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

2 And Job spake, and said,

3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

6 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.

7 Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.

8 Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.

9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:

10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother’s womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.

11 Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

12 Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

Though we may have bad days and struggle through hard times job shows us that no matter how bad the storm gets and how at time we may feel like we’re walking alone, if we just keep our focus on the God and his will we will make it through the storm because god is in control and he has the master plan.

  42. This world can cause us to lose all hope, but the only true hope comes from belief in Jesus and his word.

  43. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

I cannot say that I understand his pain or can even relate to Job. Yet I can say I have been through a few seasons of wondering why I was ever born. Hurt and broken I questioned my existence. Heart shattered in hundreds of pieces and no one seemed to understand the place I was in.

In these seasons of my life it took the word of God and the spirit of God to pull me through. It’s so easy to speak about healing of ones body when it’s deseased or sick yet often seems tabo to openly speak on healing of a broken spirit, torn emotions, or awful loneliness

I’m so thankful that I serve a God that does not only heal my physical body but He heals every part of me that I am willing to put in His hands. I know what it feels like to be bound by depression and paralyzed by fear. I know what it feel like to be so broken inside yet have to be so strong on the outside in a effort to not crumble under pressure- but God!in the weakest moments of life He becomes my strength it’s ok to not always have it all under control. We must always be willing to allow Him to take control!

  44. “Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it. Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it. As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:4-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When the enemy comes in from all sides it may look like or feel like we don’t want to live anymore but GOD! Jesus has given us every chance to come back from sin and every day he awaits for us to come to him for help every day. We need to long for Life and a life In Jesus!

  45. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Facing our worst fears is painfully hard to do. Job feared God so much that he stood upon righteousness for and the Lord was his foundation. Without the hedge of protection and the attacks of the enemy, Job, is greatly overwhelmed. He asks God to remove the day he was born and rejoicing of his delivery. Some things will feel like too much to bear and maybe we can relate to Job in some ways. He is stronger than he ever imagined and this test will prove self discovery, God discovery, and shut hells mouth.

  46. Seems like job is hopeless, weary and ready to give up…… we as followers of CHRIST, we go through bumps and bruises……. we are so ready to give up and throw in the towel, when we don’t get our way, or maybe someone said something or someone did something to us and oh my the world is ending, but oh we are definitely going to heaven……? A move to check ourselves is def over due…..HALELUJAH!!! THANK YOU DADDY!!!

  47. ““Why did I not perish at birth, and die as I came from the womb?”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s so easy to question why our lives have been spared time and time again, but through your darkest hour remember that God has a purpose for your life. We were meant to live for so much more than what we are currently going through.

  48. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

In this chapter Job finally breaks and speaks out against his life. He wonders his existence and ponders so many “why”s. What was the final breaking point?? His wife leaving him or his friends renting their own clothes and joining him, or the realization of loosing everything and it really sinking in??

  49. 3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

How quickly your flesh can change your attitude. Curse the day i was born, why me, i wish i was never born. Sounds all to familiar. When we face trials that we think are to big and have been persuaded that these things are far to great to handle. Life throws curve balls and beats you down and somtimes it seems like your a target and if you hadnt been born all of this wouldnt have happened. You wouldnt exaist so you wouldnt have to endure all this pain. You come to an understanding that your the problem.

We face as Christians that we e serve god and we do everything we can for God so it makes us untouchable. The truth of the matter is we all face trials of pain and suffering and we all question why me. Any where from the i just go to church on sundays to the most righteous of people face some sort of tribulation but it doesnt go on with out reason.

  50. 26 I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.”

We all may feel like this at some point in life. We ask “why” are bad things happening. You just want the world to end. When tribulations come, we’ve got to stay strong and encourage in God.

  51. With kings and counsellors of the earth, which build desolate places for themselves;

    20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

    21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

  52. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.
2 And Job spake, and said,
3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.
4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

The utterances of Job, the words that he confessed clearly out of frustration are really of essence in these passages of scripture.

After reading these portions, I find it interesting that Job would curse the day he was born, this all because of the valley he was facing, no doubt a dark time.

The confession of his mouth was that he regretted his existence he essentially was indicating he hated the creation that God made, or course referring to himself. He states “let the day parish in which I was born”. Wow, it is astounding, I suppose easy for me to say, the darkness and trail he was facing was devastating too hard to comprehend In my opinion.

But what I like about this passage of scripture, is that it is a reflection of something that Job grew to despise and hate, he thought it not suitable for even God to recognize the day in which he was born.

However, what I see is that God no doubt was beyond thrilled for this day, I would dare say he was ecstatic for he had a faithful servant that truly loved him and was fully submitted to him. I know God must have been happy to express to Satan about this particular servant that was perfect!

My thought on this portion of scriptures – we cannot void the entire process because of a dark moment in trial.

You see I can’t help but think that which is pure and perfect that which is righteous shines brighter in the darkness, bringing up to speed, we are presented with dark trials and valleys, but he who is above is looking at how we are going to represent him!

Will I void his plan? Will I say it is of no value?

But God was confident in his servant, God know already that he was going to remain faithful.

My prayer is that God would grant me the courage and the fortitude to remain a bright light even when all of hell and its evil forces come against me.

I don’t want to void the plan, I don’t want to destroy any type of glory that God may want to reap from my life. May he receive all the glory and honor for all that I am and ever hope to be.

    So let me light shine!

I must shine, I have his word that is quick and powerful

I have his Holy Ghost and power that is fire

I have a God who watches over me – and as mentioned his eyes are like a consuming fire! And he watches me!

    I got to shine!

As the writer said… if his eyes is on the sparrow! I know he watches over!

  53. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

2 And Job spake, and said,

3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

Job had lost everything and knew God could have kept it from happening but still he never cursed God or blamed it on God he never gave up on God he was distraught and kept moving forward

  54. Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.
