Job 8

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;

If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?

12 Whilst it is yet in his greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb.

13 So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish:

14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider’s web.

15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.

16 He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.

17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.

18 If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.

19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.

20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

      4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;

      5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

      If!

If if if . I recall some scripture where Satan came to Jesus after His 40 day fast. With the If’s.

      Matthew 4

4 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness tto be tempted by the devil. 2 And after fasting uforty days and forty nights, he vwas hungry. 3 And wthe tempter came and said to him, “If you are xthe Son of God, command ythese stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But he answered, z“It is written,
a“ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”
5 bThen the devil took him to cthe holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple 6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,
d“ ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’
      and
“ ‘On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.’ ”
7 Jesus said to him, “Again eit is written, f‘You shall not gput the Lord your God to the test.’ ” 8 hAgain, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, iSatan! For jit is written,
k“ ‘You shall worship the Lord your God
and lhim only shall you serve.’ ”

Hebrews 4:15 English Standard Version (ESV)

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

If I had just , if u had not did that , the list is eternally long.? Oh God today cover our minds and hearts to know that You are the strength in the midst of every if. Whether it is self condemnation, friends condemning us family or Satan himself my hope must be in YOU! Search me daily. Renew in me a right spirit. Help me not to judge when others are facing trials. Lord whatever it is you are trying to teach let me learn it in Jesus name.

We are your children and there is no doubt You are the God of Abraham Issac Jacob and Anne Bower. In thee do I trust.

  1. Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

2 How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

    4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;

    5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.

7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

Job spake much to the purpose; but Bildad, like an eager, angry disputant, turns it all off with this, How long wilt thou speak these things? Men’s meaning is not taken aright, and then they are rebuked, as if they were evil-doers. Even in disputes on religion, it is too common to treat others with sharpness, and their arguments with contempt. Bildad’s discourse shows that he had not a favourable opinion of Job’s character. Job owned that God did not pervert judgment; yet it did not therefore follow that his children were cast-aways, or that they did for some great transgression. Extraordinary afflictions are not always the punishment of extraordinary sins, sometimes they are the trials of extraordinary graces: in judging of another’s case, we ought to take the favorable side. Bildad puts Job in hope, that if he were indeed upright, he should yet see a good end of his present troubles. This is God’s way of enriching the souls of his people with graces and comforts. The beginning is small, but the progress is to perfection. Dawning light grows to noon-day.

  2. 14 Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider’s web.

15 He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure.

16 He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.

17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.

    Trust like a spiders web.
But faith like Daniel in the lions den.
See that trust was all positive until something bad happened. All you have to do is keep your faith in the rough times and you’ll see God work it out. That trust was caught it was received and it spreaded but the first hard rain or gust of wind had this persons trust all out of wack that’s where faith comes in. Build our faith with relationship with Christ.

Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice so we could receive your spirit!
    I just thought of this.
Jesus came down to show and be an example by experiencing our everyday things and when he died he gave us the antidote to all the issues.
The Holy Ghost which pricks your heart and shows you right and wrong.(conviction)
    Jesus saved our lives!

  3. 4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
    5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;
6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous

You’re always going to have people that want to criticize your trial and claimed to have all this wisdom for why you’re going through a hard time. You’re always going to deal with individuals who have the “answer” to the problem that you’re facing. What’s more important is that we are just continually seeking God for his wisdom and his solace and not allowing others to speak into our lives that don’t have the best intentions

  4. 7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

I find that no matter where you start serving God, whether having little or having much, you will ultimately prosper by the blessings of God. It seems that when you begin to seek first the kingdom of God there will be kingdom increase. The increase will be beyond your understanding and remember you can never out give God.

    Haggai 2:9 states-
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

    Psalm 115:14
The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

When it comes to our spirit, this is one area The scripture tells us that we have to decrease for God to increase. We will see more blessings of God even when we decrease for the right reasons.

    John 3:30
He must increase, but I must decrease.

    I love the Kingdom!

  5. “But if you pray to God and seek the favor of the Almighty, and if you are pure and live with integrity, he will surely rise up and restore your happy home.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭8:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    What is integrity?
the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.

Job was a man of integrity, he was a righteous man before the eyes of the Lord, that’s why he had favor before the God. We as Christians should cloth ourselves with integrity , have strong morals and uprightness before the Lord to have favor in Him.

  6. Job 8:8,9 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:
(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)
Shall not they teach there, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

Deuteronomy 4:32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

7.Remember the days of old, consider the years and many generations: asked thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

Psalm 144:4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

Psalm 6:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

  7. “But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked. He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the home of the wicked will be destroyed.”
    Job 8:20‭-‬22 NLT

We dont know the mind of God, it’s easy to tell someone to stop complaining, trust God, but if you know that you know you are innocent and your in this mess of a situation and dont know why, it’s easy to complain! But that’s why we serve a merciful God, we dont know how God is dealing with the situation. Thank you Jesus, We should rejoice that God saw in us some strength or uprightness that he can trust us to handle our situation, and allow us to be touched by the idiot enemy! if I faint at every situation I am still at the milk faze, but to get on those knees and pray to the one and only GOD OF MY SOUL! without a second thought! that’s growth and God will work it out!

  8. 8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

What God is saying is to pray to him when you can but never be of the shadows of the wicked. And to go and SEARCH for their father’s.

  9. “But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked. He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.

No matter what I’m going through God will always shine and fill me with His joy. I could be in the midst of a hurricane or the worst twister ever recorded; God will always have me covered. It’s like the family that lost their house, but the Grandmother’s prayer closet stood and protected them. The church that burnt down, but no bible was touched. God knows what He’s doing; I have to slow down and allow God to do His work. How can I have joy if I try to do it my way. It won’t work and the only thing that will come of it is fleshly feelings. Like my job situation; what a storm that turned into, but I can’t worry or allow myself to get depressed over it. Why you might ask; cause from the day the storm started I gave it over to God. I can rejoice in the season I had and now it’s time for a new chapter. Thank you Jesus for all that you have done in my life.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
    Romans 5:3‭-‬4 KJV

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
    Psalms 23:4 KJV

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
    James 1:12 KJV

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
    John 16:33

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

  10. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    HOPE FOR THE HURTING

19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.
20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

We are unsure of the attitude or tone of Bildads response, however we are sure of its TRUTH. Whether or not Bildad spoke as an accuser, antagonist or encourager we know not. But, his words offer HOPE FOR THE HURTING.

    1. The JOY of HIS way – Remain in the Kingdom and will of GOD and JOY will be discovered.
    2. GOD will not cast off or away the Righteous – Maintain Kingdom status or citizenship to remain with the KING.
    3. Neither will he help evil doers – Often we must patiently wait on JESUS to recompense evil doers. However in the end they will not succeed.
    4. Till he fill thy mouth with laughing – HE will turn your sorrows into JOY
    5. Till he fill thy lips with rejoicing – Your words and speech will be of HIS greatness.

Bildad whatever his intent seems to have been prophetic here with his HOPE FOR THE HURTING message. I pray you are encouraged today to face whatever has been dealt you with FAITH and Expectation.

  11. 8:3 Doth God pervert judgement? Or doth the Almighty pervert justice?
No, no no! He does not.
    God is righteous.

  12. 8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

We live in the age of “I know” People know everything a d when someone else tries to share with them wisdom that could prevent heartache in their life, they are not interested in hearing.

I pray that is not the case with Christians. Our forefathers fought many battles and gained much wisdom and we would be wise to search out the elders and ask counsel of them and then follow that counsel.

Don’t be a loaner. See God, seek your Pastors advice and listen to those who have been there

Scripture tells us there’s safety in a multitude of counsel.

  13. 6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

We know Job was pure and upright and his friend just spoke what Job’s end will be! No matter journey, God has an expected end for us…to be with him eternally.

  14. iLove the Kingdom

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?
3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

Do y’all see what’s going on here? Job has defended himself and now Bildad attempts to accuse him. The words and wisdom of Bildad are true, however when the word is spoken towards Job it becomes tainted. This is true when we speak the Word of God towards folks unjustly in accusations toward the innocent. We take on the accusing spirit and the word becomes as the words of Bildad.

  15. Does papyrus grow where there is no marsh? Do reeds flourish without water? While still uncut shoots, they would dry up quicker than any other plant. Such is the destiny of all who forget God…
    Job 8:11‭-‬13 HCSB

Forgetting God is like cutting off your water supply. There are many things are bodies can do without, but water is not one of them. A week for some, 3-4 days for others, without water and we die. We know this, and we intentionally make water an important part of our every day.

What if we realized that we need God just as much as we need water? We would intentionally make Him a part of our every day. We wouldn’t leave home without Him. Like water, however, it is not enough to just have God with you. The water bottle does you no good unless you take the cap off and drink it down. Likewise, saying we are Christians does us no good unless we learn to actually drink deeply of God on a daily basis. Without doing this, we will soon dry up like a reed without water.

  16. 19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.

20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

We should always have a praise on our lips and in our hearts. No matter the situation God is in control. Sometimes we have to be willing to let Him take control and realize we can’t do it on our own. His way is growth and sometimes we need a little pruning so God can grow us. He will give us the joy we need.

  17. Uniquely Different

It makes a difference when you are a Child of God. Some of my clients are not God believers, and so they have a difficult time understanding the blessings of God. We are uniquely different in that, we have a hope and understanding of God. We know if we please him and seek after Him, he will bless us beyond all measure.
How is your alter and are you seeking after his Kingdom First. Because it matters

  18. 10But those who came before us will teach you.
They will teach you the wisdom of old.

Yes, children depend on their parents to teach them the things of life. We as parents, as we mature must teach our kids about God, and how to endure life. Hopefully we have learned from our mistakes and pass on to our kids, the right thing to do.

  19. Job 8:20-21
    20) Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
    21) Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

If we stay Faithful to God during our times of trials, testings, and troubles, He will fill us once again with Laughter, Rejoicing, Gladness, Singing, and Joy.

Ps. 31:11, “Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.”
Ps. 126:2a, “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing…”
Ps. 126:5, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

  20. “But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked. He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the home of the wicked will be destroyed.”
    Job 8:20‭-‬22 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.8.20-22.NLT

God will not allow someone who truly followed his Commandments at heart to suffer with out justice.

  21. The same happens to all who forget God. The hopes of the godless evaporate. Their confidence hangs by a thread. They are leaning on a spider’s web. They cling to their home for security, but it won’t last. They try to hold it tight, but it will not endure.
    Job 8:13‭-‬15 NLT
Although Job’s friends’ advice may not have been the best there were still some truths that they spoke. These verses are true when applied to the ungodly. It’s true that there’s nothing lasting or worthwhile in a life without God. It’s also true that a life without God is a life without hope for eternal life. Yet, It was wrong for Bildad to accuse Job’s children of being the cause of his troubles: Your children must have sinned against him, so their punishment was well deserved.
    Job 8:4 NLT
We are blessed to have hope and stability in this life and the one to come. We should leave the judging part up to God when it comes to why people suffer.

  22. Job 20-21 [Amp] Behold , as surely as God will never uphold wrongdoers, He will never cast away a blameless man. [21] He will yet fill your mouth with laughter [Job] and your lips with joyful shouting . Zopher’s second speech , Assuming Job’s Wickedness he lay’s himself out to portray the the deplorable fate in store for the wicked. Job’s Seventh Speech. Agreeing that, in the end, the Wicked suffer, he insists that they are often prosperous. Through all trails and tribulations and through all tests we need to stay faithful.

  23. and if you are pure and live with integrity, he will surely rise up and restore your happy home. “But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked. He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the home of the wicked will be destroyed.”
    Job 8:6‭, ‬20‭-‬22 NLT

Trust in the Lord with all thy soul and heart, in Jesus Name

  24. 7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

Have you ever bought a small bookshelf from the store, that you thought would be a simple thing to put together. Everything included, all the pieces, instructions, and even the little tool to put it together?

Recently, I was assisting a friend put a crib together and all the pieces were there plus some. Something that we thought would be a quick simple put together, had turned into quite a project since there was extra pieces, missing pieces, and lack of instructions.

How many times have we been in the same scenario with God? We’ve added our own pieces to the project, cause it just looked to small. We’ve removed some vital pieces and to top it all off we never look at the instruction manual?

What may seem small and inadequate the beginning, God has still called and chosen it for the season of life you are in. Don’t misuse, rebuke, or ignore the small. Read the instruction manual; the word of God, allow it to lead your life that you too will be able to greatly increase.

  25. I Love To Worship The Lord
    The former generations
    (8-8)
Bildad invokes tradition as authority for his views. If a teaching was accepted by the ancients it must be correct. Our standard must be Scripture itself not what others have said about it.

  26. 8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)

10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?

  27. When the enemy starts to whisper in your ear it’s gonna Soujd convincing at first whatever he has to say, but when you decern what he has to say and what his cake is made up of the Enemy is nasty and don’t taste no good. But Jesus is any cake you love and the best of it!

  28. Verses 8-10 ERV “Ask those who are now old. Find out what their ancestors learned. It seems as though we were born yesterday. We are too young to know anything. Our days on earth are very short, like a shadow. Maybe the old people can tell you something. Maybe they will teach you what they learned.” If they only knew what I know now is what comes to mind when I think about those younger years. I recently read a sign at a church that said “A setback” is a “set up” for a “comeback”.

  29. But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty, if you are pure and upright, even now he will rouse himself on your behalf and restore you to your prosperous state. Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.
    Job 8:5‭-‬7 NIV
    https://bible.com/bible/111/job.8.5-7.NIV

Another reason to die daily. If you make your plea to God, “Lord forgive me for any thing that i have said or anything i have done, knowingly or unknowingly, that does not glorify you.” Approuching God with all humility in the beginning and he will glorify you in your future. God will rises on our behalf when we pray and repent God renews and restores us with his Holy spirit.

  30. From these chapters I learned that we are a church of leaders and we always should respect that fact. We will be good examples to the others that walk into our church. Don’t be the one who pulls us away from reaching souls just because you had a bad day. If you had a bad day just pray to God and put a smile on your face. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 REACH THE LOST POFW!!

  31. Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

God gives the righteous enough room to go through the process of suffering yet loves the enough to not allow it to destroy them but build them. He will bless though that Bless them and He will take vengeance on those that hurt the righteous.

  32. “Ask the former generation and find out what their ancestors learned, for we were born only yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow. Will they not instruct you and tell you? Will they not bring forth words from their understanding?”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭8:8-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If we could just tap into the wisdom that the generation before us has we would save ourselves so much grief and heartache. The elders of the church are not there just to fill a seat, they serve a purpose, that purpose is to share the wisdom they hav acquired with those that will stop for two seconds and speak with them.

  33. 20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

God will never leave us if we follow his commandments and believe in His Word.

  34. 2 How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?
3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

Sometimes we just need that friend that’ll come and help snap us back together. Job had that friend that said enough is enough. He asked how much longer was he going to wallow in this self pity?

0 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

He also goes on to explain that God is for us. That he will give us the peace we need . He will give a reason to laugh. The friend explains how it may be time to snap out of it and join reality. We all need that one close friend.

  35. But those who came before us will teach you. They will teach you the wisdom of old.
    Job 8:10 NLT

Can you posses a teachable spirit? Even when you are older, and adult can you still be corrected, directed and guided by those who are wiser or older. We must always approach God with the knowledge that it is Him that knows all things and he can use anyone to teach us. There is never an age where you have learned it all.

Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding; For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law.

  36. Job: 19-22 19 Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.

20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:

21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.

22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

While reading this chapter, it appears that Bilad continued to scold Job for his “un-repented” sin. Bilad had his own idea of what was happening.

Truthfully it was only speculation, and quite honestly was wrong in his assessment.

To truly express that particular feeling that Job must have felt is rather devastating, not only going through darkest moment in his life, but having somebody whisper in your ear erroneous ideas or concepts is rather draining. He lost everything he had and now his friends reproach him because they thought he had commit some type of sin.

IF we are not careful there are times that the enemy can come in and play with our minds, we are to understand the purpose for all situations in our life and do our best to be sensitive to God’s spirit in everything.

For everything there is a season, and also I believe a reason for each event or situation in our life.

Can we truly understand the purpose of God in our lives? I’ve always asked myself how much of “me” gets in the way of God. I feel that only God knows what he does, my steps are ordered of him. I cannot charge God for a situation that I am going through.

Only he knows what’s best for me. Few friends you will have in this life, and if lucky if you have just “1” friend consider yourself blessed.

We can only suspend our trust in God, voices will come to torment the mind in dark hours. But God said “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. We may not understand the cause and situation we face be we do have a promise!

Job was going through all of this, and those “friends” did not actually know the real reason why God was doing this.

IT was so that God could show himself, it was for the glory of God in my opinion.

Those “Friends?” How can these friends speak to Job this way? A just man, a perfect man, a man with a pure heart towards God. How can this be? With what audacity could they possibly do this? A perfect man! Nothing to be charged against him!

Pardon me, but this slightly reminds me of how our accuser will come and try to torment our minds as we endeavor to draw near to God, as we pursue in our walk with Jesus Christ. May we contend in the faith ignoring all negative thoughts and may we be aware of the enemy’s devices.

  37. How long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be like a strong wind?

3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice?

    4 If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;

    5 If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

6 If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.
