Job 11

Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?

Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

10 If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?

11 For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

12 For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass’s colt.

13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

14 If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

15 For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

16 Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:

17 And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.

18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.

  1. 6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
    7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

    I’m very careful about who I let speak into my life. Because even if a person has valid points about what they are saying if they’re using it to tear me down that is not from God. Jobs friends although they were right about the righteousness of God they were using it to tear him down and to condemn him. I believe we can learn something from everyone. We will either learn what we want or what we do not want how we emulate something or to avoid it.

  2. 7. Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty?

    8. Such knowledge is higher than the heavens – and who are you? It is deeper than the underworld – what do you know?

    9. It is broader than the earth and wider than the sea. NLT

    Carnal man can never understand God, only to those with God’s Spirit within them can even begin to know Him and how He works.

    1 Corinthians 2:
    11. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

    12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

    13. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

    14. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

    15. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

    16. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. KJV

  3. ““If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer! Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:13-14‬ ‭NLT

    Another call to the altar.
    Zophar, the Naamathite is on a roll. Job here on his death bed and this guy is going off on him. Doesn’t seem very nice but his response to Job could be a response to all of us today. It’s the start of the day for most of us and it should start with our hands lifted up in prayer. He says “get rid of your sins” so I believe I’m gonna repent and get this day going in the name of the Lord!

  4. Job 11
    18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

    19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

    Even Job”s third friend starts out as if Job had committed some great sin. Job was already hurting and yes he had just spilt his guts to God in the previous chapter. An old cliche “With friends like that who needs enemies “. Sometimes we think we have the correct answer for someone and sometimes they just need someone to reach out and hold their hand. Or just the question @are you ok “? Would be of help. Thankfully by the end of this chapter Zophar gives a bit of encouragement to Job.

    I’m sure Job had already been searching his heart diligently looking inside for some answers . I’m so glad we have a God who knows the depth of our heart when the bottom falls completely out from beneath you.
    I want to say thank you to three friends whether you read this blog or not. Thank you my 3 friends who created an atmosphere of worship for a group of singles last night that needed encouragement and uplifting . God used you mightily. I’m thankful for friends who know how to in get in touch with the Almighty and stir up strength in times of disappointment or life in general. Thank you God for your love and grace unmerited favor You give. Wisdom only comes through much sorrow so help me all of us to learn and gain daily knowledge from You and Allie it to turn into deeper wisdom as we seek You . In Jesus name.

    Ecclesiastes 1:18
    New International Version
    For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.

  5. Job 11-13-14 [Amp] If you set your heart alright and stretch out your hands to [ God].
    [14] If you put sin out of your hand and far away from you and let not evil dwell in your tents. Then can you life up your face to him without stain of sin, and unshamed] ; Yes, you shall be steadfast and secure; You shall not fear. Job’s fourth speech he grows sarcastic at there cutting words and ask them to let him alone. Eliphaz second speech, His sarcasm becomes bitter . They become excited and angry, Job’s eye’s flash. Repenting is very important to our Lord. We should love one another and forgive one another. Don’t complain or let anger affect you ! In Jesus name.

  6. “If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer! Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you. Then your face will brighten with innocence. You will be strong and free of fear. You will forget your misery; it will be like water flowing away. Your life will be brighter than the noonday. Even darkness will be as bright as morning. Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help.
    Job 11:13‭-‬19 NLT

    The results of simply having relationship with Him is wonderful. Not only are we encouraged but other as well by the light that we shine.

  7. FORGIVENESS!!!! The freedom that comes from repentance is monumental! It’s life changing! It’s earth shaking! He says even the darkness will be bright as morning! It’s not just to please God. It’s to enrich and improve every aspect of our lives. God never does something for only one reason. Repentance is a turning, it’s a separation, it’s a paradigm shift. It’s a game changer. And I wonder if there is something that changes and shifts in the brain because when we truly repent and we turn away from those sinful things it changes the way we think. I am so thankful for my God. He’s a Paradigm Shifter and a Game Changer. My God is a forgiving God and He is Great, Mighty, Merciful and oh so Loving. Thank You, Jesus!!!!

  8. “Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:18-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    Give your sins to God and renew your hope and faith. God will give you peace.

  9. Verses 7-9 AMP “Can you discover the depths of God? Can you [by searching] discover the limits of the Almighty [ascend to His heights, extend to His widths, and comprehend His infinite perfection]? “His wisdom is as high as the heights of heaven. What can you do? It is deeper than Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead). What can you know? “It is longer in measure [and scope] than the earth,
    And broader than the sea.” These verses send me back to the old Sunday School song “Deep and Wide”. My God is all that and so much more. I can imagine Job just listening to Zophar and thinking “tell me something I don’t already know”.

  10. Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified? Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed? For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
    Job 11:2‭-‬4 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/job.11.2-4.KJV

    I know what it means to have someone accuse you for nothing. They dont beleive you didnt do anything to deserve the thing you may be going through, it’s hard for them to think that maybe God allowed this to happen, it’s useless to try to convince them otherwise!
    So in situations like that, ya just say God knows what he is doing, my innocence will speak for itself, and trust in God, but friends can be hars and in some cases, your enemy might show you more compassion!

    It seems awfully funny how people don’t get it. If they would just open their heart to God; how He could change the situation they’re in. I could’ve have got mad at God for what I’m going tgrough; instead I opened my heart and began to praise God for the season. Even in my short comings. Things do happen in God’s timing. It is how I handle myself in the storm. He knows what to do and when to make a move in my life. Yeah I’ve been through some pretty rough storms and did I prepare for them; no. Did I correct myself through them; yes. Through prayer and the word: yes I have got back on the path. Is there still a long road to go; OH YEA! My life is getting better and stronger with each day as I allow God to do what He does in my life. I can rest upon that. Thank you Jesus for brightening up my life and removing the darkness from me.

    • If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

      I read this verse and caught up my attention with joy, this friend knew iThe Joy of been forgiven, the joy of salvation. He was preaching about of the beautiful gift of repentance and the magnificent feeling of been forgiven and be free of spots. The experience of no fear of seen God face to face. Which is the real experience of Salvation. I was just rejoicing in the word for freedom!

  12. iLove the Kingdom in Action
    2 Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified? 3 Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

    Do y’all see what’s going on here…This feller Zophar is basically calling Job a lier. Wow, while this little feller is correct in the content of his speech he is not correct in applying it to Job. The reason we can make this statement is at the end of the book of Job we find God very upset with these friends of Job. If we are going to use the Word of God to try to help someone, we must be careful not to twist it and apply it out of context to someone.

  13. ““Do you think you can explain the mystery of God? Do you think you can diagram God Almighty? God is far higher than you can imagine, far deeper than you can comprehend, Stretching farther than earth’s horizons, far wider than the endless ocean. If he happens along, throws you in jail then hauls you into court, can you do anything about it? He sees through vain pretensions, spots evil a long way off— no one pulls the wool over his eyes! Hollow men, hollow women, will wise up about the same time mules learn to talk.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:7-12‬ ‭MSG‬‬

  14. 17 And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.

    18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

  15. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    REPENTANCE

    13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
    14 If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
    15 For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
    16 Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:

    Our First MOVE toward GOD of REPENTANCE indicates to HIM that WE NEED A MOVE in our lives.

    It begins with a change of Heart, what we seek and desire will become what we possess. (FIRST THE KINGDOM)
    Stretch out our hands, when we make ourselves available to serve HIM. (FIRST THE KINGDOM)
    Seperate ourselves from the world, put it far away from us. Live for GOD within the lifestyle of Holiness. (FIRST THE KINGDOM)
    Lift up our head in PRAISE. (FIRST THE KINGDOM)

    The PEACE of GOD will cause us to forget misery to live in peace and hope.

    THIS IS A MOVE

  16. “Yet if you devote your heart to him
    and stretch out your hands to him,
    14 if you put away the sin that is in your hand
    and allow no evil to dwell in your tent,
    15 then, free of fault, you will lift up your face;

    Amen! When we focus only on Him and give everything to Him he cleanses us. When we are clean we are free of guilt, free from chains, free from bounds, free of torment, etc. We need to let Jesus cleanse us and remove everything that needs to be removed even if it means passing through the fire. Just because we pass through the fire doesn’t mean that we are weak but that He is strengthening us for what is yet to come. We might be going through the fire but at the end of that fire we are cleansed and pure.

  17. “You claim, ‘My beliefs are pure,’ and ‘I am clean in the sight of God.’ If only God would speak; if only he would tell you what he thinks! If only he would tell you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom is not a simple matter. Listen! God is doubtless punishing you far less than you deserve!”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:4-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    It is in our best interest to keep our mouths shut if we did not fully comprehend the whole situation. There may be some truths in what the friends are saying but it should be applied to someone who is doing wrong. It does not apply to Job.

    “Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut. The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless. The words of the godly encourage many, but fools are destroyed by their lack of common sense.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:19-21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  18. ““Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty? Such knowledge is higher than the heavens— and who are you? It is deeper than the underworld — what do you know? It is broader than the earth and wider than the sea.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:7-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    If God was to reveal everything about Himslef at once, our minds would not be able to contain it. God is far too vast to be confined to our minds or our way of thinking.

    Therefore we can never get “too much” or “enough” Jesus. In order to truly know Him and grow in wisdom and knowledge, we must continually be in His word and on our faces seeking Him!

  19. 13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

    I like how the NLT adds at the end of the verse; “13 “If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!”.

    In prayer. How are you going to prepare your heart? In prayer.

    I couldn’t help but hear the chorus to a song “prayer changes things, prayer changes people”. Through our altars, through our prayers, there will be an undeniable move of God in our lives.

  20. 5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

    6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

    7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

    Oh that God would speak to us and that he would show wisdom against us. Many times that when we seek God, we find that he is always speaking to us. There are so many things that crave our attention that usually take precedence over the voice of God. I find that all to often we do not recognize his voice. When we get back to our first love and the first fire of when we first got filled by God’s spirit, we sometimes begin to hear his voice again. We desperately need a move toward him and away from the rest of the world. The only way we are going to find the perfection of God is a constant seeking and feeling after him.

    The scripture tells us in Isaiah:

    Isaiah 55:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
    6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
    7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

    This is the only way to find his perfection.

    Psalms states it this way-
    Psalm 34:8 New International Version (NIV)
    8 Taste and see that the Lord is good;
    blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
    It is time to get back to the basics and let’s have a genuine move of the Holy Ghost!

    I love the Kingdom!

  21. 4 For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

    5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

    6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

    7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

    Be careful who you listen to. Those who say their words are pure. If it doesn’t align with God’s word then know it does not align with GOD. But a lot of these so called pure people will use scripture out of context or wrongfully against you. Try the spirit by the spirit.

  22. Repentance and Forgiveness, keep building your Altar everyday.

    Job 11:13 If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

    God will forgive your sins upon confessions and repentance just like Job.

  23. 18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
    19 Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
    20 But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.

    Be secure in knowing who God is. Be secure in knowing where your help comes from. Be secure in knowing the God loves you and died for you. Be secure and know that Jesus is Lord. Be secure that we win and we are blessed. Be secure in knowing that if God be for us, who can be against us?

    Seek ye First the Kingdom
    How is your altar

  24. …Should this kind of loose talk be permitted? Job, do you think you can carry on like this and we’ll say nothing? That we’ll let you rail and mock and not step in? …How I wish God would give you a piece of his mind, tell you what’s what! …But you can be sure of this, you haven’t gotten half of what you deserve.
    Job 11:1‭-‬6 MSG

    Oh to be righteous enough to point the finger at another man and say, “You’ve gotten far less than you deserve!” How we delight in seeing ourselves as better than our fellow man. How adept we become at dismissing our own sins while pointing out those of our brother. How vainly do we declare ourselves to be our brother’s judge rather than his keeper!

    But, “…There is none righteous, no, not one,” (Romans 3:10). “…We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…,” (Isaiah 64:6a). If it were not for the righteousness of Christ, we would all be without hope in this life and in the next.

    The truth is WE ALL RECEIVE FAR LESS JUDGMENT THAN WE DESERVE. God didn’t save us and bless us because we were good, “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…,” (Titus 3:5 KJV). “For I know that in me…dwelleth no good thing…but sin dwelleth in me…,” (Romans 7:18-20).

    So, if we can’t be good enough to earn, or even keep, our own salvation apart from the mercy of God, why do we find it so easy to condemn other men? “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked,” (Jeremiah 17:9a). We should not listen to it when it declares us righteous and our brother a sinner. “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall,”(Proverbs 16:18). Rather, we should see ourselves as Paul saw himself: “For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I’m not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way that I…[fill in with your own sin],” (1 Corinthians 15:9 NLT).

    We can never forget that we are indebted to the mercy of Jesus Christ. All that we are has been purchased by His blood. Any good that we do has been by the power of His Spirit within us. We are clothed in His righteousness, not our own. Our debt is to love our brother as we have been loved, with mercy and compassion.

    Only those who misguidedly trust in their own self-righteousness see themselves as worthy enough to judge another. The day always comes when that righteousness is stripped away, the eyes are opened to our own wickedness, and we plead before God not to give us what our sins deserve. THANK GOD FOR THE BLOOD!

  25. MSG – Reach Out to God
    13-20 “Still, if you set your heart on God
    and reach out to him,
    If you scrub your hands of sin
    and refuse to entertain evil in your home,
    You’ll be able to face the world unashamed
    and keep a firm grip on life, guiltless and fearless.
    You’ll forget your troubles;
    they’ll be like old, faded photographs.
    Your world will be washed in sunshine,
    every shadow dispersed by dayspring.
    Full of hope, you’ll relax, confident again;
    you’ll look around, sit back, and take it easy.
    Expansive, without a care in the world,
    you’ll be hunted out by many for your blessing.
    But the wicked will see none of this.
    They’re headed down a dead-end road
    with nothing to look forward to—nothing.”

    Why is it so hard when we’re going through a trial that we forget God? Sometimes we are just like the Israelites forget what God just did for us last week, or yesterday, or last year and so we don’t have the faith fo believe that He can bring us through the current storm.

    My prayer is the our faith is consistent, steadfast and always able to hear the word of the Lord in our spirit telling us to reach out to Him, He’s not far away, and He still hears and answers.

    I have this confidence because
    I’ve seen the faithfulness of God
    The still inside the storm, the promise of the shore
    I trust the power of Your word
    Enough to seek Your Kingdom first
    Beyond the barren place, beyond the ocean waves

    When I walk through the waters, I won’t be overcome
    When I go through the rivers, I will not be drowned
    My God will make a way, so I am not afraid

    You keep the promises You make
    There isn’t one that is delayed
    So I will not lose heart, here, I will lift my arms
    And start to sing into the night
    My praise will call the sun to rise
    Declare the battle won, declare that it is done

    When I walk through the waters, I won’t be overcome
    When I go through the rivers, I will not be drowned
    My God will make a way, so I am not afraid

  26. Job 11:13-14 (nlt)
    13) If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer!
    14) Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you.

    This is a good way to start everyday. Preparing our heart, lifting up our hands to Him in surrender, and getting rid of sin in our life.

    How’s your altar?

  27. 5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

    6 And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

    7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

  28. If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

    Before we can ever reach a city,before we can ever reach a town.we must surrender it all to God. We have to clean out or minds and our house for a tabernacle with wickedness can not reach but separate and destroy. But a tabernacle full of Jesus can bring together and create and reach nations, states,cites, and towns.

  29. “If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer! Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you. Then your face will brighten with innocence. You will be strong and free of fear.
    Job 11:13‭-‬15 NLT
    If Only…, If only we could solve life’s difficult problems with simple answers. Sometimes it is a simple repentance and change of heart that can start the process of healing and restoration but we are not God to know the exact state of someone’s heart. Most of the time, people get into trouble through many bad decisions and to undo it will definitely take God and many good decisions on their part. Repentance is always a step in the right direction but we cannot over simplify people’s problems with pat answers that do not consider the depth of the problem. Sin is like a web that entangles it’s victims, all parts of their being and those who are associated with them. It has far reaching effects but where sin abounds, grace does MUCH MORE ABOUND!

  30. 11-5
    Lets remember that God is sole judge and arbiter. Paul says Let us stop passing judgment on one another and James warns against setting ourselves up as judges even when we have the Law as guide

  31. We must put away sin and anything connected to it. God has called us to be holy. Only way we’re going to be holy is if we can get to a point where we can hear from God. God will give you strength in your time of need.

  32. “Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty? They are higher than the heavens above—what can you do? They are deeper than the depths below—what can you know? Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.
    Job 11:7‭-‬9 NIV

    Hes power is immeasurable. He is greater then anyone or anything you could ever imagine. We serve a mighty mighty God. There is nothing he cant do. Hallelujah!
    I kept reading this chapter throughout the day and all i wanted to do was praise his greatness. Because he is the alpha and omega the beginning and the end. He is love he is life he is the light the most high the king of kings and the lord of lords.

  33. It is very dangererous to assume someone’s fault just because something bad is happening to them. Bad things happen to good people all the time. We don’t have an answer as to why. In Jobs case it was proving his devotion to the Lord. We cannot point the finger when we see someone going through something. We just need to keep them in prayers and know that God is God and he knows all. Be a friend not an accuser.

    • Easy to say when you are n ot the one going through it. I I know that the parable that Jesus gave about the Shepard going after the one sheep and leaving the 99 for that one was criticized. But what if you were that one he went after?

  34. 14 If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.

    Are temples were meant for Jesus to dwell inside of them. We need to put away the wickedness that attempts to do dwell at our tabernacle. Our lives are meant to be lived for God. Jesus name

  35. But oh, that God would speak, And open His lips against you, That He would show you the secrets of wisdom! For they would double your prudence. Know therefore that God exacts from you Less than your iniquity deserves.
    Job 11:5‭-‬6 NKJV

    We should be careful not to jump to conclusion and wrongfully judge or accuse some one. Its better to listen more than we speak. God is the one that knows all things so why not go to him and ask.

  36. “Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    faith and hope mutually assist each other; faith is the substance of things hoped for, and hope of better and future things on a good foundation encourages faith and confidence.

  37. 14 If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
    I feel as though so many church are on the other end of the spectrum from this verse. Lord, give our churches the heart to see the mistakes and turn away from them. Rather than moving iniquity far away they gossip and let it dwell amoung them.

    18 And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.

  38. “Now it was the turn of Zophar from Naamath: “What a flood of words! Shouldn’t we put a stop to it? Should this kind of loose talk be permitted? Job, do you think you can carry on like this and we’ll say nothing? That we’ll let you rail and mock and not step in?”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:1-63 ‭MSG‬‬

    True friends right there! We all need real people in our life that will set us straight when we’ve lost our sanity and start acting foolishly. Unfortunately, some of us would flip out if we were ever called out and spoken to like that. Don’t be so quick to turn away correction, embrace it, learn from it and apply it as necessary.

  39. “Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Talk it’s often very hard on people. We should learn to be silent. People turn always understand what we say what we mean. It’s better to be quiet then to argue.

  40. 7“Can you solve the mysteries of God?
    Can you discover everything about the Almighty?

    Many have tried to solve the miracles of the Bible. Some try to solve if there is a God, and who created man. If it’s not proven by science then it can’t be true. They will try to understand and accept scientific theories, but won’t accept the Bible.

    All it takes is faith to accept the Bible. Simple and easy. One day, in heaven God will tell us the mysteries of the Bible.

  41. And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

    7 Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

    8 It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

    9 The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

    10 If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?

    11 For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
