Job 12

And Job answered and said,

No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.

Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?

10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

11 Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?

12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

13 With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

14 Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.

15 Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.

16 With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

17 He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.

18 He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.

19 He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.

20 He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.

21 He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.

22 He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.

23 He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.

24 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.

25 They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.

  1. Verse 13 MSG “True wisdom and real power belong to God; from him we learn how to live, and also what to live for.” 1 John 5:18-21 “We know that none of the God-begotten makes a practice of sin—fatal sin. The God-begotten are also the God-protected. The Evil One can’t lay a hand on them. We know that we are held firm by God; it’s only the people of the world who continue in the grip of the Evil One. And we know that the Son of God came so we could recognize and understand the truth of God—what a gift!—and we are living in the Truth itself, in God’s Son, Jesus Christ. This Jesus is both True God and Real Life. Dear children, be on guard against all clever facsimiles.”

Verse 16 MSG “Strength and success belong to God; both deceived and deceiver must answer to him.” Proverbs 16:3 AMP says “Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].”

  2. “For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭12:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are all God’s creations. Everything is His and we are in His hands. So why is it so hard to give things to Him that are already His? All of our cares and worries are His but we have to understand that we need to give those to Him. Tithing, praise, worship, ourselves, all His we just have to make up our minds to give everything freely and be willing.

  3. “He removes the royal robe of kings. They are led away with ropes around their waist. He leads priests away, stripped of status; he overthrows those with long years in power. He silences the trusted adviser and removes the insight of the elders. He pours disgrace upon princes and disarms the strong. “He uncovers mysteries hidden in darkness; he brings light to the deepest gloom. He builds up nations, and he destroys them. He expands nations, and he abandons them. He strips kings of understanding and leaves them wandering in a pathless wasteland.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭12:18-24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He has all power in His hand!
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. There’s not one thing on this earth God can’t take from a person and completely flip the script in their lives.all power ya been stripped from all these examples and I believe it’s to remind us just how powerful he really is. Never forget the power of God. Jobs been mocked for crying unto the Lord but he hasn’t stopped yet, our attitudes should be the same. Don’t quit crying out unto the Lord.

  4. 7. Just ask the animals, and they will teach you. Ask the birds of the sky, and they will tell you.

    8. Speak to the earth, and it will instruct you. Let the fish in the sea speak to you.

    9. For they all know that my disaster has come from the hand of the LORD.

    10. For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being.

So the animals, the birds, the earth and the fish all know that God is in control and that He gives and takes away life, but so many ‘enlightened’ people still want to deny it and claim that we all just happen to be here…

It’s going to be embarrassing for those people when they realize that the birds (yes, those poor little critters that will crash into the same window pane over and over for hours at a time) were smarter than they were!

  5. 12:22 He discoverers deep things out of darkness, and bringers out to light the shadow of death.
    ———
God will do it. God will play games and cover corrupt things……

  6. But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.
    Job 12:13 NLT

There’s no one better to go to, to talk to, to receive wisdom from than Jesus Christ! He should be our number one go-to person in times of distress and needed counsel.

  7. Job 12 :23-24 [Amp] He makes nations great , and He destroys them; He enlarges nations [ and then straitens and shrinks them again], and leads them
[ away capative] . He takes away understanding from the leaders of the people of the land and of the earth, and causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no path. Job’s Eighth Speech. He protests his Righteousness. The expression, ” Word’s of God’s mouth this indicates that Job’s day there were Writings which were recognized as God’s word. But only with God are prefect wisdom and true understanding and the knowledge that we need. To be more like him everyday. Praise God.

  8. 7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?

We have so much to learn in life their lessons from every person and everything around us that we can learn to take you apply the principles. God has given us many manifestations to b students of that are all around us if we will just open up our eyes and begin to study them.

  9. The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods. Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old.

    Lead with Your Speech

In this day as we go out to reach the lost the more concrete and souled out we are for Jesus Christ the more people will take note. There are hungry people looking for answers. There are dying people in need of life. There are sick people in need of healing. There are poor people in need of provision. We have the answers for them! The answer is Jesus Christ. We don’t have to know exactly what to say, but Jesus will guide our steps. We are leading people with the conversation of our lifestyle and by the words of our mouth either to Jesus or away from Him. They are testing our words to see what is good. In Jesus name they may just take a bite! God I thank You for helping us be wise in our conversations and to always be about Your business. In Jesus name!

  10. iLove the Kingdom
23 He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.

God is in control over the nations of this world. He lifts up nations and throws down nations. There are a lot of people out there that accuse the founding fathers of the United States saying they took the land of North America wrongfully. The truth of the matter is, every nation that has ever existed has “taken” land by force at one time or another…and this includes the nation of Israel. Don’t let the teachers of this world fool you, God is the one who builds up and tears down.

Act 17:26 From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries.
Act 17:27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us.

  11. “No doubt you are the [only wise] people [in the world], And wisdom will die with you! But I have intelligence and understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know such things as these [of God’s wisdom and might]?
    JOB 12:2‭-‬3 AMP
    https://bible.com/bible/1588/job.12.2-3.AMP

People when we are down think that we lost it, they think we lost our ability to think and function! Just because we are in the midst of the storm doesn’t mean we are incapable of handling our life, or lost all common sense. The Storm makes us Stronger and makes us develop a prayer life like non other! God knows our situation and he knows what he allows us, he dont take away our abilities to function, but people assume that we are weak because they might focus on the wrong thing if the shoe was on the other foot, so they automatically assume we are too.

  12. For the life of every living thing is in his hand, and the breath of every human being.
    Job 12:10 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.12.10.NLT

I know that God can remove me at any given moment. I also know that He will put my life to the test. There have been times that He has done so; not to discourage or tear me down. He did it to strengthen me, but in my mind of course that is not what happened. Man, can the enemy flood this carnal mind in a hurry. Have I passed every trial that God has put before me. Yea, after several times of going through it. Where will I be when God finally removes me from this flesh; what will I hear. That is where I need to get my strength in God built up. I don’t want to hear; get away from me worker of iniquity. We/I want to hear my good and faithful servant. Thank you Jesus for this word today and for opening my eyes.

  13. Job 12 message

    13 “True wisdom and real power belong to God;
from him we learn how to live,
and also what to live for.

Job informed his friends he knew where try Wisdom comes from.

If I’ve learned anything in my life it is I don’t know everything and if I want to I can learn something new every day! Job informed his friend that his wisdom could not supersede God’s .
Job put his friends in their place.

Job 12:2 “No doubt but ye [are] the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

Good intentions can back fire if God is not given the glory. I have know some great men and women with wisdom yet so true you cannot go to the grave and dig them up to seek wisdom from me. We can only hope that we recall their words of advice. So Job’s reminder although seems a bit sarcastically given only God’s wisdom is eternal.
Job’s friends were not the ones who had just lost everything ! I’m sure they meant well but until we have walked in some else’s shoes we cannot really know. And there again each shoe confirms to that person’s foot. No I do not know how you feel I can only tell you how I felt during a similar situation. Bottom line again only God and His infinite wisdom and love will remain.

We as children of God can have the power and peace that will go beyond any earthly counseling for God is the ultimate Counsel. In thee Oh Lord will I put my trust. I will not lean into my understanding. Your wisdom daily in Jesus name.

  14. No matter what happens around us or to us, we must remember that God is in control and has our best interest at heart.

  15. In Job 12:7-25 Job believes in God’s omnipotence, too, though here he emphasizes its destructive capacity.

Job 12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

  16. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    THE KING

9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

In every unfavorable circumstance, sticky situation and trying time, we are wise to remember that JESUS is the ONE who has HIS hand in it and HE is the breath that we call life.

Encountering every trial with this knowledge brings the gifts of PEACE and HOPE regardless of the outward circumstances. I am equipped and empowered by the WORD of GOD to Encourage myself in the LORD.

Through the promises of THE KING I am HIS and I can do ALL Things through Christ JESUS who strengthens me. We live with a clear reminder in this life of the fact of if JESUS was finished with me then I would not be here.

THE KING whose hand is in EVERY THING and whose breath is in ALL mankind.

  17. “To God belong wisdom and power;
    counsel and understanding are his.

Amen despite of what your trial might be. We have to fall back on His Word and understand that He is in control of it all. There is no problem to small or problem to big that can stop God from being God. In order for our faith to increase we must never stop reading His Word. Now all we have to do is push play and have it playing constantly. Never underestimate the power of God! His word is powerful and able to move mountains.

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”Romans 10:17

  18. I thank God for His mighty hand on my life. I’ve lived my life in the past according to what i thought was a way of living. But GOD has kept me! For He is the alpha and omega of my being!!!

  19. 3 But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
4 I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
5 He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

Joe Had wisdom think it not strange that the trials that you go through or if you overcome you will also have wisdom to help others who are going through what you went through. God is the God of Love but he also wants us to grow in his wisdom.

  20. 10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

From the beginning of time for man kind, we were created in the image of God. We were simply clay on the potter’s wheel that was molded and shapened. It was not until Genesis 2 when he made man.

    Genesis 2:7
7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

We have to understand that everything including us were made by Him. We are not our own, during every trial and temptation we are still in the palm of his hands.

    John 1:1-5 states this-
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

We are his and he is ours, but we can not lose sight of God because of the troubles that we have. We have him as a refuge to run into and be safe. We have to learn to lean on him to trust him no matter what.

    I live the kingdom!

  21. “But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. What he destroys cannot be rebuilt. When he puts someone in prison, there is no escape. If he holds back the rain, the earth becomes a desert. If he releases the waters, they flood the earth. Yes, “But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. What he destroys cannot be rebuilt. When he puts someone in prison, there is no escape. If he holds back the rain, the earth becomes a desert. If he releases the waters, they flood the earth. Yes, strength and wisdom are his; deceivers and deceived are both in his power.
    Job 12:13‭-‬16

Job understood that true wisdom and power comes from God . Job also understood that god give but also take away

  22. 16 With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

We truly serve an awesome God. He is anything that we will ever need or want. He is the answer to life, and all that is in it.
We must seek after him and his Kingdom.
    How is your altar

  23. HE REVEALS MYSTERIES FROM THE DARKNESS…
    Job 12:22a HCSB

…HE BRINGS LIGHT TO THE DEEPEST GLOOM.
    Job 12:22b NLT

…EVEN THE NIGHT SHALL BE LIGHT ABOUT ME
    Psalms 139:11b KJV

We often sleep with nightlights because we don’t like the darkness. There is something frightening about what we cannot see. Seeing gives us the illusion of controlling, and we are not nearly as afraid of what we can control.

Similarly, we don’t like the night seasons in our lives. We want to see and control the future, and night seasons strip away that control. They remind us that all we’ve depended upon can be gone in an instant.

We flounder in the night, stumbling over emotions, thoughts, temptations we thought we had long ago crucified but now discover were only held in check. It’s the darkness that brings to light our fears, that reveals our true dependencies, that illuminates our well hidden sinful self.

But that’s not all, in the darkness is where we find God, where we see Him like we’ve never seen Him before. The night brings to light the hidden depths of His great love for us. It is in the gloom where we discover that we are held, forgiven, accepted even in our imperfections. It’s where we gain the will to release all control to a loving Creator who has never been in the dark.

We discover there that His light shines brightest in darkness, and then, somehow, the night season becomes our friend. By His grace, we emerge from our blindness with a better understanding of our need and of His willingness to supply, of our failure and of His redemptive power. Somehow, He reveals mysteries from the darkness and brings light to the deepest gloom. Somehow, the God we only thought we knew before became clearer to us when the lights went out.

He makes the night to shine about us with His glory, and only then can we say that we see. We see that control belongs to the One who holds the stars in His hands. We see that we don’t need to see to dwell securely. We see that all we really need to see is Him. He alone is our light, and He is the Light of Life to be shared with all men.

  24. 12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13 With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

He is the Ancient of Days and He is omnipotent or all powerful, omnipresent or everywhere at the same time and omniscient or all knowing. And if we lack knowledge, James 1:15 says we are to ask of God, that gives generously or liberally to all, and without reproach, it shall be given to him. We must turn to him whether in the dark of a trial or in the goodness of a blessing because he has a purpose for them both. Sometimes in a blessing, esp a financial one, there is something just ahead and He is providing you the means to cover that need. So regardless, seek him.

  25. 24 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
25 They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.

This WAS meeee!!! HALELUJAH!!! THANK YOU JESUS FOR SAVING ME, I AM THANKFUL FOR THE CROSS!!! YOU LOVED ME FIRST!!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!! This is why we intercede!!! The are countless persons, loved ones, frienemies and people we have yet to come in contact with, whom are “living” like we did!!!

  26. ““But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He is Counselor! This reminds me of Isaiah 9:6….“And his name shall be called: Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince or Peace.” Counselor in Isa 9:6 means to advise, to deliberate or resolve, devise or guide. Often times we think of a counselor as someone that will give us advice for issues or someone that we can go and talk to you. One thing I never understood or knew that it was part of the meaning was devise. Devise is a verb and it means to form in the mind by new combinations or applications of ideas or principles. This Counselor that we serve can completely invent in each of us a new mindset. No matter what walk of life or past we may have we can come to Jesus Christ the COUNSELOR and our minds can be made whole and changed. Thank you Jesus! Lord, I am in desperate need for a new mindset. Guide me in the direction I should go do you have a my mind changed completely like yours.

  27. 2“You people really know everything, don’t you?
And when you die, wisdom will die with you!

Yes, when you die, you can’t take anything with you. But your laughter, teachings, memories will be left for others to remember you. So pass your wisdom to your family and friends while you can.

  28. MSG- From God We Learn How to Live
    13-25 “True wisdom and real power belong to God;
from him we learn how to live,
and also what to live for.
    If he tears something down, it’s down for good;
if he locks people up, they’re locked up for good.
    If he holds back the rain, there’s a drought;
if he lets it loose, there’s a flood.
    Strength and success belong to God;
both deceived and deceiver must answer to him.
He strips experts of their vaunted credentials,
    exposes judges as witless fools.
He divests kings of their royal garments,
then ties a rag around their waists.
He strips priests of their robes,
and fires high officials from their jobs.
He forces trusted sages to keep silence,
deprives elders of their good sense and wisdom.
He dumps contempt on famous people,
    disarms the strong and mighty.
He shines a spotlight into caves of darkness,
hauls deepest darkness into the noonday sun.
He makes nations rise and then fall,
builds up some and abandons others.
He robs world leaders of their reason,
and sends them off into no-man’s-land.
They grope in the dark without a clue,
    lurching and staggering like drunks.”

Everything we ever need to know I learned in Kindergarten is a saying I’ve heard quite often. I disagree with that statement. Everything I need to know I can learn in the pages and wisdom of the BIBLE.

    The B I B L E yes thats the book for me,
    I stand alone on the word of God, the B I B L E

I must get my face in the book and see what God is saying everyday.

  29. Job 12:9-10
    9) Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
    10) In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

Acts 17:25b says, “… seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;”
Acts 17:28a says, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being;…”

God created all things. “For by him all things were created” (Col. 1:16a). He is the One who gave to all life and breath. It’s in Him that we live, and move, and have our being. He also is the One who giveth and taketh away. Blessed be His name!

  30. “What he destroys cannot be rebuilt. When he puts someone in prison, there is no escape. If he holds back the rain, the earth becomes a desert. If he releases the waters, they flood the earth.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭12:14-15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus is in complete control in what happens in our lives. The seasons we’re in may not always please us, but we can ALWAYS trust Jesus! He has a plan and He will get the glory. He’s turning your story into a testimony! 🙂

  31. 9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?

10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

  32. I Love To Worship The Lord
    (12-3)
Who does not know all these things?
This is really Jobs problem. He already knows the truisms that his friends have expressed and discovers that they do not apply in this case.
Job has been forced to realize that the ways of God are mysterious
When we hurt its important to remember that God is not our adversary He is on our side

  33. “Behold, He tears down, and it cannot be rebuilt; He imprisons a man, and there can be no release. Behold, He restrains the waters, and they dry up; Again, He sends the waters out, and they overwhelm and devastate the earth.”
    ‭‭JOB‬ ‭12:14-15‬ ‭AMP‬‬

He alone can create, and He alone can destroy.
He alone is in control, and He alone reigns over all.

So why are we so hesitant to place control of our life into His hands?

We cannot control everything, but He can.
We do not know everything, but He does.

We must trust that He knows better than we do and surrender our life to Him.

  34. “But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.
    Job 12:13 NLT
Here’s a simple yet powerful truth, true wisdom power understanding and council are found in God. The New Testament companion Scripture to this is:
That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
    Colossians 2:2‭-‬3 KJV
ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Jesus and that’s why we should seek Him!

  35. 6 The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.

Sometimes it feels like like God is picking on you. We are in trouble long enough it makes us think about where our trouble is coming from. It must have been tough for him to look back and not been able to think of something he did wrong to desire what happen.

It shows us that we too can get to that point and not sin against God because we are only human.

  36. In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?
    JOB 12:10 AMP

“Hes got the whole world in his hands hes got the whole wide world in his hands…. ” those are some mighty hands. he dictates every move but we are givin a choice. To follow him or to squander in our own agony and pain. Can we hold on to our faith through our trials of tribulations? Or do we fold and let our misery cause us to cave and give into our flesh?

Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].
    JAMES 1:3 AMP

  37. Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old. “But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.
    Job 12:12‭-‬13 NLT

Who do you go to for advice? Who has influence and can speak into your life? The Lord knows all things and has all wisdom. You find yourself with a difficult situation or hard choice. Go before Him… and ask. The word tells us to acknowledge him in all our ways and He shall direct our paths.

  38. 3 But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

What Job says here is the truth. After all he used to rub shoulders with these men. He poured sweat, blood and tears into serving God, and they knew it. Did they forget all those years? He is not inferior to them, and he is just as knowledgeable and wise. Just because of his current state they look down their nose at him. I wonder if people even realize when this happens in the present day church. Instead we should encourage each other especially when we see people struggling.

  39. 7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

I love how he says “ask the beasts. . . They shall teach thee”, “the fowls. . . They shall tell you”, or “speak to the earth. . . It shall teach thee”, etc. in “connecting” with nature and looking and learning about the environments around us everything speaks His Name and His Glory. It becomes so plain and so obvious of where everything came from and is.

9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?

  40. “And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.(‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

We are victorious because when we are baptized in Jesus Name. Jesus blood is what saved us from the sin of this world and our testimony is what defeats the enemy. When we surround our lives and turn to God we are turning away from our lives and living a holy and righteous life.

  41. Aside from the insight we have on Job, verses 13-25 are a great example of how much we are actually not in in control. It depicts so clearly that “what is” can quickly become “what was” just at the sound of God speaking it into existence. Don’t grow content in what you have or what you are because at the drop of a penny you too could be Job.

  42. ““But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭12:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
    Psalms 16:7

All this also comes from the LORD Almighty, whose plan is wonderful, whose wisdom is magnificent.
    Isaiah 28:29

Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight, I have power.
    Proverbs 8:14

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
    James 1:5

  43. He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

6 The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.

7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:

8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
