Job 34

Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?

Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

10 Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?

14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

16 If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

17 Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?

18 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?

19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.

25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

26 He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

  1. 21. For God watches how people live; he sees everything they do.

    22. No darkness is thick enough to hide the wicked from his eyes. NLT

Like Bro Parker preached last night,
    “Sin cannot be disguised”.

  2. “All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Dust to dust
Day by day in the temporal body living this temporal life doing temporal work and temporal things to enjoy we often find ourselves focused on those things rather than the kingdom. If we just bless the lost with the gospel then Jesus will take care of the rest. If we just seek ye first the kingdom and his RIGHTEOUSNESS then all these things shall be added unto you. That’s the Bible folks plain as day clear as crystal. Jesus wants to bless you but what are we doing for Jesus. Bless you all in Jesus name.

  3. “Listen to me, you who have understanding. Everyone knows that God doesn’t sin! The Almighty can do no wrong. He repays people according to their deeds. He treats people as they deserve. Truly, God will not do wrong. The Almighty will not twist justice. “For God watches how people live; he sees everything they do. No darkness is thick enough to hide the wicked from his eyes. We don’t set the time when we will come before God in judgment. He brings the mighty to ruin without asking anyone, and he sets up others in their place.
    Job 34:10‭-‬12‭, ‬21‭-‬24 NLT

Its always worth it surrending to God and obeying him

  4. Job 34:21 [ Amp] For [ God’s ] eye’s are upon the ways of a man, and He sees all his steps.
[Ps.34:15] The eyes of the Lord are toward the
[ uncompromising] righteous and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears , and delivers them out of all their distress and trouble . The Lord loves everyone, You can’t hide from the Lord. He see’s and every word you say . I bless you in the name of Jesus.

  5. 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

There is no where to hide. When you think that you’re getting away with something or no one knows what you’re doing outside of and away from church you’re wrong. God is always watching and sees everything you do. What you do that’s “hidden” will come to light. Often in a way that’s damaging to yourself. Sometimes you get to that point of “burn out” and have lost that passion you once had for God and you still show up to church and go through your “routine “ and have completely checked out mentally and emotionally from the service and are thinking on what you’re going to be doing once it’s over. Sometimes it can be that hidden sin and you think that you’ve got it covered up pretty well and no one will take notice but God shows people things and some are able to test your spirit and both tell all. Don’t get wrapped up in old things you’ve turned away from or new things that distract you. Put on that armor of God and be guarded. Die daily and put that flesh in submission. Be blessed and remember God is always watching.

  6. Job said, ‘The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.’ So let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.
    Job 34:3‭-‬4 NLT

We must guard our hearts and our minds. The best way to do that is to filter what we hear and what we know by the Word of God.

  7. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    JUST AND FAITHFUL

12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

GOD is JUST and FAITHFUL and therefore the nature of HIS Kingdom is likewise. GOD knows that we have need and has promised to supply all our need according to HIS riches in Glory.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

GOD is HOLY and PURE so that we are not concerned about HIS judgements toward. GOD is Gracious, Merciful, Kind, Patient, Long-suffering, Gracious, Loving, Forgiving, Forbearing, Righteous, Just and HOLY. We should TRUST HIM to do RIGHT and that HIS judgement will be RIGHTEOUS and according to our actions.

GOD is JUST AND FAITHFUL. Worthy to be TRUSTED. In everything we do today, let us Seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD.

    He loved God ………
He had not sinned to cause all the csksmythstvead going on in his life

I’ve written and erased multiple times this morning .

Even at the death of my child someone asked. What sin caused this tragedy? It was not sun it was God’s will….,why do we look for sin in someone else why nit look for the good ? People are looking for something to help them we the people of God can lead them to kniwbthst no matter dgstbggd situation of life God is there. 9. WATCH YOUR TONGUE:
Job, you deserve the maximum penalty for the wicked way you have talked. For you have added rebellion to your sin; you show no respect, and you speak many angry words against God.”
    Job 34:36‭-‬37 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.34.36-37.NLT

So as I was reading this chapter it floored me that Elihu was speaking against Job at the end. This is where we need to be careful as the children of God. We can call ourselves Christian’s, but are we acting as Christians. I have seen people argue before walking through the doors of a church. I’ve heard them cuss straight out of service. People have even cut others down right out of service. So as truth talkers and walkers we must be very careful when speaking; what we say and do can bring someone to God or it can turn them away from God. I’m sure that Elihu had all the right intentions when he was speaking, but at the end he pretty much turned from Job. We are not here to cast judgement. There is only one judge and we will stand before Him. Thank you Jesus for being my tongue and voice.

This guy right here, he said he held his peace, he should still hold it! Here is another one who is bashing Job, and he is out right accusing him just going hard, Its a hard situation when you know your innocent and nobody wants to beleive in you! But it dont matter about anyone but God, Your spouse, and Pastor. Someone told me the other day, that the safest person is the one off to themselves, not involved, but I say even then, if you show a little potential then you a target for backlash, because the ones that been there the longest tend to get comfortable, and they gonna talk, and do whatever it takes to get you discouraged, and then be happy when you quit, but like bro parker said, that “oh, are you ok” in the streets you know who your enemy is, in the house of God it shouldnt be like that, but people are people, just like in the days of Job, he thought he had friends, but when he needed compassion, all he had was accusers, and irritating haters! It’s ok Bro Job God knows the truth! Lord help me to not be an accuser or a deceiver, guard my heard, because I dont want to hurt myself or anyone by my words!

  11. 12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
    14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

Job started out with the same mindset that he would not charge God foolishly just because bad things were happening to him, but as time progressed and things got worse he begin to question God and his authority. Patience is one of the hardest trials to face because any man can endure a hard time for a short time but it takes patience to endure something devastating for a long period of time. What happened to job was that his patients began to wear thin and he lost sight of what keep him going in the beginning. He understood that God cannot make a mistake and can do as he chooses and it will be righteous

  12. AMP – 21 “For God’s eyes are on the ways of a man,
And He sees all his steps.

There is no where to run and hide that God does not see what we do. His all seeing eye is ever watching. Job felt rejected, alone and like God had forsaken him because of His silence. Yet God was there, listening to every where he spoke, even those words in anger. Job was operating in his human spirit, his humanity was ruling instead of his spiritual man.

We too become like Job many times in our lives. When we have not prayed, fasted enough, our carnal nature rises up and we start to operate in the humanistic side (flesh.) We must not judge job harshly, because in the written words of his story, we can find ourselves sometimes.

I’m thankful for the mercy and grace of the Lord that weeds through the hurtful things we say at times when we don’t understand, loves us anyway, and still brings us through to victory. His mercy and love goes beyond what we could imagine, and reaches down into our heart to pull us out.

This is how I believe God thinks about me…..

Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me
You have been so, so good to me
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me
You have been so, so kind to me

Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah

When I was Your foe, still Your love fought for me
You have been so, so good to me
When I felt no worth, You paid it all for me
You have been so, so kind to me

And oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
And I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God, yeah

There’s no shadow You won’t light up
    Mountain You won’t climb up
    Coming after me
There’s no wall You won’t kick down
    Lie You won’t tear down
    Coming after me

  13. 23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

God does not temp us or allow temptation so as to cause us to come into condemnation, or that we are not able to overcome it if we will.

1Cor 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

  14. 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

God sees not just the wrong we do, but he sees everything. He sees the attitude when things don’t go right and if we give him glory when they go wonderful! I love Sis Watts comment this morning and the song she used to show how God loves us and pursues us even when we choose the wrong action or path. He died for us and desires our love, communion and worship. He is so worthy of all my praise!

  15. iLove the Kingdom of Light
Wow ya’ll, the light came on…yep sometimes that happens with Jesus being the Master Electrician and us yielding to the Blueprint. Check out scripture #3 , “For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.”

That’s it! That’s why those who aren’t square business about their spiritual diet are quick to believe lies. Think about lies as being food items like Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream, or chocolate cake, deep fried donuts, or suga pie honey bun dump cake. Even if you know these things will wreak your diet, we want to eat them any how. The Word says the ear “trieth” words… This is why most folks will accept lies over the truth. Most time lies are what folks would rather hear. The truth sometimes is like eating broccoli and turnip greens. You know its good for you, but its just not that fun having an ice cream cone filled with two Brussel Spouts

  16. 10 Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
    14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

If God says it’s done, then it’s done. God is in control, and if says that He will do something, then He will. We must seek after His will for our lives, and know where He wants us at. As we are about to begin 40 Days, my prayer is that I seek and gain a deeper revelation of who God is, and what He can do. I must seek after His Kingdom. I must seek after it First.

  17. “…Our chickens always come home to roost..
He has his eyes on every man and woman. He doesn’t miss a trick. There is no night dark enough, no shadow deep enough, to hide those who do evil. “…Nobody gets by with anything…
“So why don’t you simply confess to God? Say, ‘I sinned, but I’ll sin no more. Teach me to see what I still don’t see. Whatever evil I’ve done, I’ll do it no more…'”
    Job 34:10‭-‬15‭, ‬21‭-‬28‭, ‬31‭-‬33 MSG

“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”
    Proverbs 15:3 KJV

“…behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.”
    Numbers 32:23 KJV

“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.”
    Luke 12:2‭-‬3 KJV

Like Bro. Parker preached, sin is deceitful, but noone is more deceived by it than ourselves. We minimize and justify in order to continue in sin. We convince ourselves that noone will be hurt, that what they don’t know won’t hurt them, and that noone will find out. We listen to the lies that what we are doing is really nothing, that it’s not affecting our judgment or our spirituality. We even tell ourselves that we can sin knowingly and purposefully and then repent afterward.

Hebrews warns us of this kind of thinking:
“Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”
    Hebrews 3:2‭, ‬12‭-‬13 KJV

Rather than keep up our elaborate ruses and duplicity, why don’t we simply repent as Elihu suggests above? Why don’t we repent of the sins we know we are committing and then ask God to reveal to us the sins we’ve even hidden from ourselves.

    Like David, we should pray:
“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
    Psalms 139:23‭-‬24 KJV

Often, we don’t do this because we like our ways and don’t want to be convicted of them. Thus, we pretend to be godly when we are not. However, as O. S. Hawkins puts it, “the fruit of a tree always reveals the health of its root system.” When we ground ourselves in sin, we produce little fruit; and that which is produced is corrupted by selfish-ambition, vanity, and pride. We work, not for the love of the Kingdom, but to be seen of other men. We pray to be heard. We give to be admired. We labor to be promoted…
Sin paints all our motives with selfish intentions.

We need to listen to the counsel of James: “Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
    James 4:6‭-‬8‭, ‬10 KJV

  18. 23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

This life, and our sin is more than anyone of us can handle. God chose to lay our burdens on the back of his Son so that we do not have to bear them (sin) not the ebb and flow of life or the maturing process of growing in God. We must be careful with the theory that God won’t let us break under whatever pressure is upon us. I believe people miss-read 1 Corinthians 10:13, which says, “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

This escape clause deals with temptation, not uncomfortable situations and burdens. No one likes pain. No one likes suffering. No one likes to be uncomfortable in any way. But, all these things are part of the Christian life. Romans 8:17 “Now if we are children, then we are heirs–heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Philippians 3:10 “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings”.

Being a Christian is a call to carry a certain cross described in Mathew 126:24. I believe the majority of Christians are stressed with escaping the cross. We are more concerned with being safe and comfortable. Therefore, it is easy and almost natural for us to expect God to deliver us from our burdens and thorns in the flesh. But, deliverance may not be God’s plan for us, and we must be, like Paul, prepared to accept it.

  19. We don’t set the time when we will come before God in judgment.

“Must God tailor his justice to your demands? But you have rejected him! The choice is yours, not mine. Go ahead, share your wisdom with us.
    Job 34:23‭, ‬33 NLT

God set up His statutes and commandments. It’s our responsibility to follow them and hang them around us. Everything we do needs to be weighed or how to we know the impact we’re making, whether good or bad? It’s just like raising children. You have to set the rules and boundaries so they know what their limits are. They can grow and Thrive and flourish within the safety of those boundaries. The same goes for us God gives us these statutes and commands as a safety net or boundary. We flourish Within its walls but as soon as we step out that’s when we allow chaos in. The boundaries are in place for a reason they cannot be negotiated or compromised. His judgment, his Justice, cannot be tailored to our own desires. His law and his word is established in heaven.

  20. 9 For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

Many times we find Job show how much frustration with God and while talking and others listening. We find in this chapter Elihu reiterating exactly what was stated by Job. He caught my attention with verse 9 when he states it profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God. I find that is the most common attitude among those that do not have a relationship with God. The world tells us that we are wasting our time seeking God. We are nothing more and nothing less because God is not real. I hear these things constantly when witnessing to those that ask about why I serve God.

    Deuteronomy 10:12 states-
And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

This is the same God asking us the same thing yet when we serve God and seek his kingdom we get the full benefits from God to be blessed and to be prosperous in this world among the nonbelievers.

    Mark 12:30 states
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

If we keep his commandments the we will not go wrong. Seeking him first is what the church needs to get back to. We need more of God.

    I love the Kingdom!

  21. Job 34:21-22 (nlt)
    21) For God watches how people live; he sees everything we do.
    22) No darkness is thick enough to hide the wicked from his eyes.

Isaiah 29:15 (nlt) says, “What sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the LORD. Who do their evil deeds in the dark! The LORD can’t see us, they say. He doesn’t know what’s going on!”

God is always watching us. There is nothing we can hide from Him, and there’s no place we can hide from Him. He knows everywhere we go; He knows everything we’re doing; and He even knows everything we’re thinking.

Oh Yes my friend, GOD IS WATCHING!!

  22. 25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.
    26 He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

To turn away from God, is a very dangerous thing. I have been able to see in myself, until I repented, and in others, still needing to repent, the damage and chaos that comes.

  23. “If God were to take back his spirit and withdraw his breath, all life would cease, and humanity would turn again to dust.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:14-15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We can’t do anything without God, so why try to live life without Him? All of our success and opportunities we have in this life are not there just because of our hard work but because of His grace. It is true that many have accomplished much without God, but just imagine how much they could do for the kingdom of they surrendered?

Let’s put God first! Let’s make HIM our FIRST priority!

  24. 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings

Nothing man does is hidden from the eyes of God.

And that simple fact alone, proves how gracious, just and forgiving He is.

He sees every mistake, every bad attitude and everything we willingly partake in. Yet still loves us more than anyone else could ever think of loving us.
And many times we take that for granted.

Think about it like this; if Jesus was physically standing in front of you, would you continue in that sin?

  25. Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

There is a fine line between knowledge and wisdom. Everyone can have knowledge but not everyone have wisdom.knowledge is something learned while wisdom is applied knowledge on ones life

  26. He repays people according to their deeds. He treats people as they deserve.
    Job 34:11 NLT
Once again Job’s friends are basing their whole argument on a faulty premise;. They believe Job sinned and deserves this punishment because “He repays people according to their deeds.”. Yet, Scripture says, He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
    Psalms 103:10 KJV
Thank God, He does not treat us as we deserve. He treats us BETTER than we deserve. It’s called GRACE!

  27. 19He doesn’t care how great a person may be,
and he pays no more attention to the rich than to the poor. He made them all.

God doesn’t look at what you have, or if you’re rich/poor. He sees your heart and mind. He wants to see your commitment in serving him.

  28. People will try, but there is no way to hide from God’s presence. He is an all seeing God and all powerful. This is why no weapon formed against us shall prosper.

  29. “How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus made each one of us. We are all unique and of the same precious value to him. Too often we put limitations, expectations, and projections of what we should be based on the world around us. We need to stop and think about our creator and why we were created more often so we can a

  30. 34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

We should be careful not to judge others. If we truly dont know it’s best to keep our opinions to ourselves. With the same measure that we judge it will be measured back to us.

  31. Verses 21-22 AMP “For God’s eyes are on the ways of a man, And He sees all his steps. “There is no darkness nor deep shadow Where the evildoers may hide themselves.” God knows all things and sees all things as He created all things.

Jeremiah 23:24 NLT “Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?” says the Lord.”

Psalm 139:1-12 NLT “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave,[a] you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.”

  32. Job speaks without knowledge, his words are without wisdom:
This, according to Elihu, was the common opinion of the men of understanding and the wise men who looked at Job’s situation. They all agreed that he had no real wisdom or knowledge in his situation.
Oh, that Job were tried to the utmost, because his answers are like those of wicked men:…Young Elihu thought that Job had not suffered enough. He thought that a little more suffering (tried to the utmost) might bring Job to repentance.

  33. “So let’s choose for ourselves what is right. Let’s learn together what is good.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:4‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

When the Kingdom comes First it is God that lets us know what is right and what is good. It is in our daily relationship with God that we learn his ways. When we seek First His Kingdom it becomes our classroom.

  34. Job34:31-32

    31) Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

    32) That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

God is faithful and just to forgive.

  35. 2 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

I statement we can all live by and be assured that God cannot do wicked! Nor can He pervert judgement! Our God is more than enough, He is just, mighty, and fair. He cannot be evil or wrong and cannot cast judgement wrongly. If you get a verdict you don’t like, it’s not that it’s not fair. It’s that you did wrong!!

  36. He repays everyone for what they have done; he brings on them what their conduct deserves.
    Job 34:11 NIV

We have to answer for everything that we do. God is just in his ways and does not do anything without a cause. He gives and takes away. He sees the work you do and in everything you do he sees the intention. He tests our hearts our minds and our will, to build us up not to tear us down. This is why it is so important to keep our alters built up stirty and strong. Because when we feel like we are not enough or when we feel like everything is against us, we can us our alters as a resting place, a comfort zone, and a place to lift our spirits.
