Job 38

Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,

10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?

21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

25 Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

26 To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

27 To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

29 Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

30 The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

34 Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?

36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

37 Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

38 When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

39 Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,

40 When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

41 Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

  1. Verses 1-10 in the CEV are captioned “The Lord Speaks From Out of a Storm”. Job finally hears the voice of the One who really matters and who he has longed to hear from. If we too can weather the storm, not faint and listen closely; we just might be able to hear our answer. We cannot allow our situation, our issues or others for that matter, to speak into our lives, who are not being lead/guided by the Lord.

    Isaiah 28:23 AMP says “Listen and hear my voice; listen carefully and hear my words.”

  2. Job 38:41, “Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.”

    The question is, “Who provideth for the raven his food?”
    My mind goes immediately to St. Matt. 6:26 and St. Luke 12:24.
    St. Matt. 6:26, “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better then they?
    St. Luke 12:24, “Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?”

    God is the one who provideth the raven (the fowls) his food, and if He can do that for them, what will He do for us when we have a need, seeing we are much more better and valuable to God than them?

    St. Matt. 6:33 and St. Luke 12:31 says…
    St. Matt. 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you.”
    St. Luke 12:31, “But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

    God already knows what we have need of. So, if we Seek First the Kingdom of God, He will take care of our needs.
    Put God and His Kingdom 1st in your life, and HE will take care of you.

  3. Do you know the laws of the universe? Can you use them to regulate the earth?

    Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind?

    Creator and King,

    I’m so overwhelmed by Your Greatness. You are so intoxication, and invigorating. You are so mesmerizing. I’m so in love with You!

    A question for all the ages. Who is really in charge of everything that’s going on? If God is really is in charge of all of this then I am certain that no matter how big are storms are no matter how high are mountains are God has the ability to stop the storm and move the mountain. If he doesn’t then there must be a reason why. It is not for us to convince God to stop the rain or crumble the mountain but for us to figure out why it’s there and the purpose God has it in our life. God knows what we are facing each day and knows the end before it begins. God knows what he is doing. That’s enough to have trust in him.

    Learning to be quiet has kept me safe and far from trouble. And i am very thankful when i see the outcome of situations i have no reason being a part of. As trying to add my two cents in is going to change anything (how foolish of me!)

    I rather hear the voice of GOD speaking into my life, than for me to think that my thoughts, actions, and way of living is greater than His voice.

    God Maker of everything so how is it that we think it cool to question God ?

  8. Job 38 -9-10 -11 [Amp] When I made the clouds the garment of it. And thick darkness a swaddling band for it, [10] And marked for it My appointed boundary and set bars and doors. [11] And said, Thus far shall you come and no father ; and here shall your proud waves be stayed?
    [ Ps.89:9] You rule the raging of the sea; when it’s waves arise; You still them. [ Ps 93: 4] The Lord on high is mightier and more glorious than noise of many waters, yes , than the mighty breakers and waves of the sea. The Lord will speak through storms to us. We need to listen to His voice. He knows what we need. Lord make our house prayer .

  9. Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth, to bring an end to the night’s wickedness? As the light approaches, the earth takes shape like clay pressed beneath a seal; it is robed in brilliant colors. The light disturbs the wicked and stops the arm that is raised in violence.

    God is light and as He spoke the world into existence, His light would indefinitely rule. God then created man, also to walk in His light. When sin and darkness came to be, man was then faced to daily choose between light and dark. But we are children of God, we are children of light. We are the light because He is the light. We are the light in this world that disturbs the darkness and shakes the earth, turning this world upside down for His light to shine and is glory to reign.

    Ok So this guy, Elihu was defending God like he was Gods best servant, like they were on One on One basis, But God is like um Job dress yourself and tell me, who is this guy? Alot of times people are so full of what they know and who they know, that they act like their better, But God called Job by name and questioned Job as to who this other guy was.
    Job 36:5 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.

    God dont need nobody to speak on his behalf, and he wouldn’t have spoke and belittled Job the way these three “Friends” have. As soon as God said my name, I would have jumped up and put on my garment and said ok yall thanks for the talk, but now I’m about to get some real advice, counseling. I love you JESUS!

  11. God challenges job , he ask questions that job has to awnser to. Job needs to know he has no right to challenge God. God is God all by himself . He needs no one . But he chose us. We have no right to challenge God. We are talking about a God that can make it snow in Texas in july if he wanted to . Because with God ALL things are possible

    This is where we need to be careful. We are not God and should never proclaim to be God. I have seen shows in the past or movies where an actor has proclaimed to have the same power as God, but I knew then and now that it was just a script they were reading. Still even with reading a script we should not toy with words like this. God is the only one that can say I Am the great I Am. Who am I to even think that I come close to having the power of God. There are some tough desicions that have to be made and who better to know the answer than our Lord Jesus. Even in the day of Job and Elihu; toying with God was not something that you wanted to do. There is nothing here that could begin to give me the power God has. Only God can pass down what power we have. Do you know that He will give us the ability to use His power, but never will He fill us with all His power. Why then do people think that they have the same power as God. That is a power that we’ll never understand and I wouldn’t want all that power. Just use me to serve your Kingdom. Thank you Jesus for another glorious day.

  13. Who is this who darkens counsel
    By words without knowledge?
    Now prepare yourself like a man;
    I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

    We may justly wonder to whom God asked this question. It might have been mainly directed to Elihu, who was the previous speaker, interrupted this word from the LORD, and who claimed to speak for God .
    This has been variously interpreted as applying to Job, or to Elihu. Personally, I believe the reference was to Elihu. Yet we can rightly say that all the characters Job, Eliphaz, Bildad, Zophar, and Elihu – spoke without accurate knowledge of what the reader knows from Job Chapters 1 and 2.
    We shouldn’t think that God expected them to know what they could not know; rather, He expected them to appreciate that there were aspects to the matter known to God but hidden to man, and these aspects made sense of what seemed to make no sense.

    Now prepare yourself like a man:
    Job had previously complained that God was battling against him in a great contest. We might say that Job, without knowing, was really battling against Satan. Now he would indeed wrestle with God, and God challenged him to prepare himself like a man.

    I will question you, and you shall answer Me:

    Job had insisted that God bring answers to him. God turned the matter around and told Job that before He would answer questions for Job, Job had some questions to answer before God.

    The questions God had for Job were simply unanswerable and were meant to show Job that he really had no place to demand answers from God. Yet to see this appearance of God to Job only as a rebuke is a grave mistake. God has now appeared to Job. Job’s greatest agony was that he felt God had abandoned him, and now he knew he was not abandoned. Like any true revelation of God, there were plenty of elements that would make Job feel small before the greatness of God; yet it could not take away from the massive comfort Job felt in simply being once again consciously in the presence of God.
    We might imagine a small smile on the face of Job throughout this questioning, though it did appropriately humble him and bring him to repentance. Yet he smiled as a child who longs for his long-gone father might smile upon his father’s return, even while being corrected – the child smiles because his father is here again.

  14. 1Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind:

    2“Who is this that questions my wisdom
    with such ignorant words?
    3Brace yourself like a man,
    because I have some questions for you,
    and you must answer them. NLT

    Finally the Lord answers Job, but I think it’s in a moment where Job was not really ready for the Lord to talk. The Lord asks the simple question- who is it questioning my wisdom with such ignorant words. Sometimes people will simply talk to be talking and to be heard and not say anything at all. When we speak, especially being commanded by God, we had better be knowledgeable about Him.

    So many times folks will not want to be held accountable for the things said and their actions. Many times when people do things or say things they feel they are exempted from the consequences. We find that Job was put on the spot as God began to ask questions and with the questions coming out of the whirlwind, I’m sure Job was amazed that God had remembered who he was.

    Remember God created us and knows every single hair that is on our heads, how foolish can we be to seem to pull over a quick one on God and think he doesn’t hear or see us. We have to gain knowledgeable and the only way is to seek first the kingdom and his ways to be what Hid desires us to be. I am always amazed by the power of God and all that he will do for us if we keep his word. That is why I’m in love with Him and his kingdom.

  15. Wow, who , woh? Job Jew who he belongs to. Job knew it was God who had all the authority over his life. All though it was the enemy who caused all of this tragedy. Above all it was God, and only God who ruled all .

    There really is something about the night. According to this scripture, the Word of God considers the night a time of wickedness. All throughout the scriptures, you’ll find reference to the night being evil.Joh 9:4 We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.
    Joh 9:5 But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.”

    We are the Light of the World. Where ever we go should bring disruption to the darkness. This is why the world don’t like us. Their deeds are evil and our light manifests those works of darkness. Darkness cannot overcome the Light, the Light always overcomes darkness.

    I’m only a Vessel

    It’s an honor and a privilege to be used by God. First we have to say not my will but thy will be done. When we seek ye first the Kingdom kingdom opportunities arise to put the Kingdom first and to exalt the King. The more and more miraculous we see the more we should be exalting the King among the people. HOSANNA! HOSANNA!
    Don’t let the fire on your altar burn out.

  18. The tour of the art gallery of God himself.

    I heard Mike Williams quote this whole chapter by memory at BOTT one year. When he was announcing this scripture it was like I was in an art gallery and God was taking me on a private tour of his creation. If you have never spent time as an artist you will not understand but if you have spent countless hours on something then stood back and just took it all in what you have just created you can relate to the tour that Job was on here. Gods creation on display. The master creator and illustrator of the universe as a private tour guide to the miraculous gesture of cosmic curtains and furnishings of the sky and land. No one loves His creation more than God. No one appreciates an artists work more than the artist himself.

  19. 3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

    As I read this chapter this morning. I am reminded that God is the author of all things. Who do we think we are, complain ing about this or that? God created it all and is the one that set everything into motion. If we stop and try to analyze what is happening we are then going against the flow of the motion of God, but if we are seeking after Him and the ways of God, then we are in the flow of motion. This is why seek ye first the Kingdom, has to be more than just a nice little saying, or fad. It must become a lifestyle that is with you until you pass away.

    when their young cry out to God
    and wander about in hunger?

    All the glorious and wonderful things that Jesus does and yet we worry? We have to keep it in our minds that He is the reason for everything. Without Him I would’ve woken up, breathe, move, talk, etc. He is the reason I am awake today. He is the reason why I have breathe and saved! Thank you Jesus for everything that you do. Every day that I wake up is a miracle that you have given me. Lord you are so GOOD!!!!

  24. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    THAT COSTLY QUESTION “WHERE ARE YOU”

    4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

    Job has obviously pressed the Lord to the point of response; something happened in Job that his faith and speech faded over the chapters. He now finds himself not fielding the questions of friends but from GOD. As I read verse 4 today, my mind immediately went to the garden of Eden.

    Genesis 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

    Job apparently found himself in a similar position as Adam. Adam blatantly disobeyed, however Job gradually faded into unbelief and contempt of GOD. It is not a favorable outcome when our authority has to ask the question of our location when and where.

    Job was questioned on facts that only GOD can answer. Let this be a sign of how foolish it will be to contend with GOD.

    What happened to Job?

    Job was confident in GOD to rebuke his wife and proclaim to his friends:

    Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

    What happened to Job?

    I believe it was his friends. I glean from this chapter that it does matter who we spend our time with. The repeated negative assault on Job has affected him in ways he never considered. Jobs Faith has now faded to the point of frustration to GOD.

    Consider this a warning in the Holy Ghost today. Evaluate your friends. If they are repeatedly negative either toward you, your Faith, your Church or your Pastor. It is time to push away from them.

    Keep your FAITH and a FIRE on the altar; may it never burn out. Make me a house of prayer. Day and Night and Night and Day.

    The Voice of The Father
    God Speaking with great authority declares His Power to Job. He speaks to him so strongly reminding him where all power comes from. He really scolds him and says it’s time to quit acting like a child and get up and be a man!!
    He tells him it’s time to take a stand and remember power comes from God. Wisdom and knowledge all through God.

    Even Albert Einstein realized there was nothing in himself great

    “A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.” Albert Einstein

    Only through the power of God and His majestic displays of His Hands from the beginning to the end. And to realize His love supersedes across this vast universe.

    It is time to realize we are equipped and can withstand and walk through the enemies territory in Jesus name!!!!!

    “I promise you this, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with POWER” Acts 1:8 “All AUTHORITY has been given to you, now go IN MY AUTHORITY and make disciples of all nations.” – Matthew 28:18

    Who do we think we are?

    When we question God on aspects of our life, we are in reality saying that we know better than He does.

    We question God and seem to think our lives would be better if we were to take control.

    But how would we know more than the all knowing, all seeing God?

    When we stop allowing God to lead us and we take our life into our own hands, life will become hopelessly out of control.

    Don’t be foolish and question God, trust the process, surrender your will for His and allow Him to lead you.

  27. 2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

    Have you ever thought you have reached the end of your rope? There is nothing else that can be done. I have prayed, fasted asked for counsel – there is no relief, no answer and no end in site. To be honest, I then question God. Not to compare myself to Job but it resonates with me that when I have tried everything I know – I question God. Thankfully, He has never answered me this way.

    Job has all but given up on life and has begun to question God who replies by questioning Job’s authority to question God. God’s first words to Job are, “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?”. Like Job, maybe we use too many words to say something we don’t know enough about to be qualified to speak. Maybe we grumble words of disapproval under our breath at people in check-out lines, traffic or coworkers. Sometimes, we speak too many words with too little knowledge – like Job when he questioned God. Let’s try to remember God’s question, “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?”.

  28. 1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

    2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

    3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

    When the Lord tells you to gird up your loins and answer Him, you can know that He has listened to your complaints and gripings and He has had enough.

    Like Pastor was preaching yesterday, there are times that the Spirit of God just rumbles in my being and I know that I better take note and listen, then there are quiet times that He just whispers.

    Sometimes we wonder why God allows people to go so far with running their mouth and He doesn’t do something about them, but we have to understand, sometimes that is us and God spares us and grants us mercy and grace, so we should expect Him to do the same with others.

  29. BRACE YOURSELF LIKE A MAN.

    -The devil stood in line. To ask God.
    -God pointed to his faithful serving job. Have you considered him? He won’t curse me.
    -The devil told God that he would make job curse him in the end.
    -So God knew he wouldn’t. So he gave him permission.

    Job goes through so much pain. He complains. And begins to ask why.

    ““Let the day of my birth be erased, and the night I was conceived. Let that day be turned to darkness. Let it be lost even to God on high, and let no light shine on it.

    “Why wasn’t I born dead? Why didn’t I die as I came from the womb? Why was I laid on my mother’s lap? Why did she nurse me at her breasts? Had I died at birth, I would now be at peace. I would be asleep and at rest. I would rest with the world’s kings and prime ministers, whose great buildings now lie in ruins.”

    *we question God*
    God answers: ““Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much.”
    ‭‭ and he continues…

    -if you know so much. Who measured the earth.
    -who’s angels cheered for joy. As the earth was made
    -who told the sea to only go so far?
    -have you commanded the morning to appear?
    -and caused the dawn to take over?
    -have you seen the gates of death? Do you know where there at?
    -where does the light come from and where does darkness go?
    -can you direct the movement of the stars?
    -CAN YOU STAND UP AND DEMAND PEACE to BE STILL!!?

    We question Gods plans and we judge God by the events that we go through in life. “Why are you doing this!”
    “What have I done!”
    We yell and get angry at God because we think his test is to heavy… but it’s not. God gave the devil permission to test you cause he knew you could take it.

    How can we question the almighty wisdom. We are nothing but he loved us. Everything he does works for our good. To make us better! To bless us in the long run! God is fighting for us! He is not against us.
    -stand strong fall in love with Jesus.
    We have to stand firm and just trust him and not turn from him.

    Who are we to question God.!?
    How can we question his wisdom that created the universe!

  30. Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, “Who is this that darkens counsel [questioning my authority and wisdom] By words without knowledge? …Tell Me, if you know and have understanding.

    In Chapter One, immediately after the catastrophies that fell on Job, we read this commentary:
    In all this Job sinned not, NOR CHARGED GOD FOOLISHLY.
    Job 1:22 KJV

    Then the battle gets more personal: Job’s health and character are attacked. In his sorrow, pain, shame, and anger, Job suddenly begins to make all kinds of charges against God. He accuses God of the following:
    * Of attacking, harassing, and persecuting him (6:4; 16:9; 19:22; 30:21-22);
    * Of making him a target (6:20; 16:12);
    * Of being unforgiving and unmerciful (6:21; 16:13);
    * Of hiding from him, ignoring him, or being unavailable to him (9:16; 13:24; 23:8-9; 30:20);
    * Of battering him without cause (9:17);
    * Of destroying the blameless (9:22);
    * Of mocking the despair of the innocent (9:23);
    * Of destroying man’s hope (14:19; 19:10);
    * Of blindfolding justice or acting unjustly (9:24; 19:7; 21:7-19; 24:1-12; 27:2);
    * And of abandoning His care of him (29:2, 11, 18-19).

    It’s amazing the things that will come out of our mouths when we are weary, sick, distraught, or angry—when SELF is challenged or made to suffer. Like in Job’s case, pride and self-pity can rise up to make all kinds of accusations and demands that we would not ordinarily make:
    “Why is God treating me like this?” (He’s being unfair or unkind.)
    “Why doesn’t He listen to me and answer my prayers?” (He’s being unmerciful.)
    “Where is He when I need Him?” (He’s unjustly and callously ignoring me.)
    “I thought He was supposed to be a good God.” (I have a right to define “good” by my expectations of Him.)
    “Heal me NOW!”
    “Fix my problem NOW!” (Because, if He is “good,” I have a right to make demands of Him.)

    Sometimes we act as if it is God’s primary directive to keep us in our “happy place” 24/7, as if our wish is His command. As long as things are well with us, we’ll quote Scriptures and tell everybody that God is good; but let things not go according to our plans—should God not live up to our expectations of giving us all we think we deserve (health, happiness, peace, prosperity, and dreams come true on Earth)—and suddenly ingratitude and discontent (idolatry) come pouring out almost uncontrollably.

    I wonder, if God did serve us as we desire to be served, how would we ever learn to live unselfishly and sacrificially toward others? How would we ever deny this flesh and face the persecution of the endtimes? How would we even know that it was God on the throne of our hearts at all?

    If truth be told, so long as we get what we desire from God and life, we can content ourselves in the presumption of our righteousness and spirituality. We “dot our i’s and cross our t’s” just like Job did, and we deceive ourselves into thinking that we have no idols.

    It is the love, mercy, and goodness of God that uses trial and affliction to bring the hidden things of the heart to our mouths, so that we may become aware of what we are truly worshipping. God gives us understanding of who He is through what He suffered on our behalf. He, similarly, gives us understanding of who we are when we suffer. Do we bleed love, or bitterness and discontent? Do we cry with intercession or accusation? Is it “Father, forgive them,” or “God, how could You do this to me?” Are we content with the sacrifice He made? Or do we continually expect Him to prove His love with more and more? Are we thankful for His gifts? Or do we demand His blessings?

    If we listen to our mouths in times of trial, we will discover who truly sits on the thrones of our hearts.

  33. 1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
    2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

    When the Lord speaks to you, be ready to answer and make sure you are smart about it and choose your response wisely. I’m guilty of speaking before I think and sometimes it’s good but most of the time can turn out bad. For Job he finally heard the Voice that he’d been waiting for. It’s like a weight lifted when you hear Him speak to you. Remember no matter how far you’ve gone God still loves you and will speak to you. You just have to make yourself available to listen and receive what He has to say to you. Be blessed today.

    God does not like it, in fact He hates it, when man starts confusing God’s order of creation and gender. Next, God also hates homosexuality because He drew the line saying man shall not lay with mankind. Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

  37. 2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

    It must have been annoying for God to hear the lectures filled with words without knowledge. Children have many questions, it’s because their minds are sponges and they absorb everything they take in. God our Creator is reminding Job of who He is, as though a parent reminds a child. Job has been faithful and the revelation he is about to discover will amaze him. In His words we can find encouragement to know just how powerful our God is.

  38. 3 Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them.

    No matter likes getting questioned about anything. You don’t like when your father or mother questioned you about something. You felt terrified cause you knew questions were coming. How much more would one feel, if God is questioning you. At least with your parents, you could provide an answer, even as simple as “I don’t know”. But with God, no answer will be acceptable, cause God already knows your answer!

  39. Gods provision is given to more than just man. He watches us all and also keeps all things in its proper place. Man cannot comprehend all He does at one time. We are able to multitask yet it doesn’t compare to God.

  40. Only our God can do all things. His word is forever established in heaven. By his word the earth was formed and man became a living soul. By him we are more than conquers.

  41. 1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

    2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

    3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

    All through out the previous chapters we see them speak back and forth, Job and his friends. Debating and arguing saying this and that even Job cursing the day he was born… but never cursed God. God now finally speaks. Therefore it seems that the test is over. The trail has ended. God has heard enough. When we take a test the teacher is silent and observes. Then comes comes instructions after. You get your results he comments on yo iui paper and let’s you know you did this well, or you failed on this. When the teacher speaks the test ends. So we too ought to fill ourselves with the book that we may have the answers to questions. Some will be tougher than others but the Word says on John 5:39
    Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

    He will always be attentive to what we say. For out of the abundance of our heart speaks the mouth. If you have joy, your praise will say it. If you have a need or are down your prayer will cry it out unto Him, if you are praising in the middle of the test you mouth will sing it. May we learn from this examples that God will eventually speak and while he doesn’t get in the book and apply the Word into your life that you may find your self passing and not having to repeat a test.

  42. Job 38:1-3 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thou loins like a man for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

    I seek the Lord and seek to hear His voice so that I may have an answer.

    Seek first KINGDOM!
