Job 1

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

13 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house:

14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:

15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house:

19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

  1. The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord , “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
    Job 1:7 NIV
    https://bible.com/bible/111/job.1.7.NIV

Satan walks among us. Picking and pulling at will looking for someone to have there guard down. If we are not strong in our faith we could very well fall into his grasp. God has hand on us but if we let our guard down and let our faith in him become belittled by trials and tribulation. Then we can be brought completely down. Keep your faith and full volume keep it beyond your comfort, because you never know when it will be tested and you never know when your life will become uncomfortable.

  2. Job 1:1 MSG “Job was a man who lived in Uz. He was honest inside and out, a man of his word, who was totally devoted to God and hated evil with a passion.” Devoted: very loving or loyal (faithful, true, staunch, steadfast, constant, committed, dedicated, devout). Job throughout what happened in this chapter, stayed devoted as the last verse 22 says “Not once through all this did Job sin; not once did he blame God”.

  3. “In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I can’t even imagine the emotions Job had going through the loss of his children. This is only the beginning of all his testings. Notice after the fact his children died he did not curse God or even curse the devil. All Job did was fall down and worship the Lord. That tells me there’s something about worship and being thankful for the relationship with God alone. Job worshipped because he was a man that walked in integrity it’s all he’s ever known. Why worship and praise God for the good and not the bad.
Practice integrity it really is one of the few things that takes awhile to build but takes but a second to ruin.

  4. Proverbs 24
10 If you falter in a time of trouble,
    how small is your strength!

God knew that Job was righteous and was faithful.

Troubles will come to try to destroy you. The only hope I have ever found was running straight into the arms of Jesus. Whether I was laying flat on a hard wooden floor with s puddle of tears or standing in a mountain top screaming at the top of my lungs. From hiding in a closet to be alone in the midst of a chaotic family situation to a bathroom in an airport! Deep calls to deep. The only way is to stay close to Him allow His peace to envelop You. The day my girl was killed I was at the church when I received the news both my kids were dead! It was just one of them though my beautiful girl !
I ran to the altar and stood there with tears streaming down . My face I knew that God was right there . A long night ahead of us at the hospital with our son who had also been injured but was saved from dying .The next morning was Sunday after her death I recall walking into the church and all I wanted was for someone to just start singing so I could get into the presence of God Praise pushes back darkness and when traumatic situations come we must praise Him . Oh but His presence saturation eases the pain and His love surrounds like nothing else. There is no God like our God. Darkness painful questions.
Each phase of my life has had questions as I’m sure each individual s life stories also have. We may question and even become angry during some of the rough times but we must stay close stay in His presence . He may have kept us from worser situations. We need one another this is why Unity is so important. Many waters cannot quench love.
Oh precious is His promises I pray Lord You will hold us in the deepest of painful situations. In Jesus name…..

    Presence of Jehovah
    n the presence of Jehovah
    God Almighty Prince of Peace
    Troubles vanish hearts are mended
In the presence of the King
    In and out of situations
    That tug-a-war at me
    All day long I struggle
    For answers that I need
Then I come into His presence
    All my questions become clear
    And for a sacred moment
    No doubt can interfere
Through His love the Lord provided
A place for us to rest
A place to find the answers
    In hours of distress
    There is never any reason
    To give up in despair
Just slip away and breathe His name
He will surely meet you there

  5. There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!” Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord !” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.
    Job 1:1‭, ‬11‭-‬11‭, ‬20‭-‬22 NLT
Job had every thing stripped from him job lost everything thought it all job stay focused on God Job didn’t blame God but he worship him

  6. 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

God holds all of us accountable, Satan isnt even among the sons of God, but God still holds him accountable for what he does!
How much more are we accountable to God, first, then the Man of God that was put in my life for a reason, Accoutability is huge in my walk, because I never cared about it before! But now I do, I cant just do what I want, I cant just do Nora! It’s not easy, accountability gets ride of my I do what I want without consequence mentality! Jesus help me to be and stay accountable to you everyday!

    FIRST THE KINGDOM

  7. 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

There is an indication here that the angels are walking up to heaven and then back down, meaning they are among us working everyday. They go get their instructions from the Lord and they come back down on Earth. Angels are among us everywhere we go and have been designated for certain things. What we need to be aware of is how protected we are from day one. Even when disaster hits we are still surrounded by angels that are protecting us because the Lord is always watching us.

  8. 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

A persons first reaction to tragedy often reveals His heart. Worship was Job’s FIRST reaction.

He knew everything he had was only because of God and no matter the situation, good or bad, it had to pass through the hands of God before it could touch him.

Many people today refuse to praise God unless He does what they want. But our worship should never be based off our circumstances!

“He gives and takes away, still my heart will choose to say; blessed be the Name!”

  9. And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. 10. Bad things haopen to good people! It rains on the just and the unjust the same way. Some are trials, some are test, some are situations that we ourselves get into it. All in all it is our FAITH in God’s power and grace that get us through. No matter what this world throws at you REMEMBER WE CAN DO ALL THROUGH CHRIST!!!!

  11. iLove the Kingdom in Chronological Order

Some of y’all might be wondering why we jumped into the book of Job, well we are reading the Bible in the order of events that they happened in. Job stepped onto the planet right after the flood. The following is a cool article I found, check it out

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job.” (Job 1:1)

Uz was a son of Aram and a grandson of Shem (Genesis 10:22-23). Shem’s first son, Arphaxad, was born two years after the Flood, and his remaining sons would have been born in some reasonable sequence thereafter, probably around 36 years apart (Genesis 11:10-26). It is unlikely that Aram, Uz’s father, was born past the first century after the Flood. The events at Babel took place during the fifth generation (the generation of Peleg), and Uz would have been alive then.

The land of Uz is later associated with the territory of Edom (Lamentations 4:21), which is near the area southeast of the Dead Sea, toward the upper reaches of the Sinai Peninsula, east of Egypt and just north of the Red Sea. Although that area is not very pleasant now, at the time of Abraham it was “well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar” (Genesis 13:10). Quite likely, this was one of the more beautiful spots that was safely away from the rule of Nimrod and farther away from the climate shifts that were leading to the coming Ice Age.

We must guard against seeing the message in the light of our own experience, education, and entertainment. When we read that Job had vast herds of “camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household” (Job 1:3), our first reaction is to reject that as pure exaggeration since we “know” that that whole area is desert and could not possibly support that kind of lifestyle. Perhaps we need to “let God be true, but every man a liar” when we approach the words of Scripture (Romans 3:4). HMM III

  12. 20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

I worship the Lord in all things. This is one of the greatest testimonies to say that through all things that you worshipped God. How often have I failes to do this? Yet, i can say that through some of my hardest times, when i worshipped the One True Living God, that i received strength and peace. As we step into a new dimension we must remember to worship God in all things, just as we seek First His Kingdom.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God
    How is your altar
    Worship through it all

  13. “Then Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head [in mourning for the children], and he fell to the ground and worshiped [God].”
    ‭‭JOB‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭AMP‬‬

There’s no condition in this scripture: “I will bless the LORD at ALL times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” ‭‭PSALMS‬ ‭34:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬. As I read this chapter it’s obvious that Job loved his kids and prayed for them often. And although this was very difficult to go through he didn’t sway in his beliefs and the ability in who God was. No matter what you’re going through or if it’s not like you planned, Worship Him! He is still God! So the situation didn’t end like you wanted, He’s still God! So it looks like you’re right in the middle of the storm, He’s still God! So he didn’t answer your prayers like you profess to others, does that make Him less of God? NO, HE IS STILL GOD! So worship Him. Trust in His plan for your life. Stop asking why me? Or great what else can go wrong? Just Worship Him and trust in His plan for your life. He will carry your through this situation.

  14. 6One day the angels a came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan b also came with them. 7The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”

Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.” (NIV)

Isn’t it quite funny when everything that God has done and prepared after the flood to restore the order of men to himself. But even the old adversary can’t even keep his nose out of the business of his former brethren of the angelic host. Even though he went from glory to depths of hell, God some how allowed Satan to be able to come in like the other angelic host. It is rather peculiar that Satan falsely presented himself before God as one of the angels to give account. But as we know Satan wasn’t there to give account for the good, but only the bad he was wanting to do.

I find that when God allows his children to do things in their life, he will allow you to take control just like having the ability to choose, we can choose to listen to his voice or not. We can look at the situations that are dealt to us either as tests or as obstacles. Both we have to to have the ability to face either one to see if we are honing to be encouraged or discouraged. Satan will lay snares to discourage us within our relationship with God so that we would want to walk away. But only the strong and healthy in spirit will look at the tests and say I can walk through this. They would also look at the obstacles state that these are merely temporary changes in our paths, guess what, God is still with you. As long as we do not turn back it’s ok to go through, go over, go around, and even go under these obstacles to continue through the tests of life. No matter the storm that rages we have to hold fast to the faith that God is only as close as the mentioning of his name and he will cover us through the fight.

Paul stated in 2 Corinthians 2:11
11Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

This is how Satan thinks he can cause us to curse God but trying to do everything in his power to get an advantage on us. The only advantage is he tries to use our past against us. That’s under the blood of Jesus. He have to start using his future against him.

    I love the Kingdom!

  15. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    KINGDOM RESPONSE

21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Our carnal flesh is the source of chaos in our spirit. Job had opportunity to be offended at GOD. Job had opportunity to blame GOD. Job had opportunity to question the love of GOD.

Job, however chose to RESPOND the only Spiritually logical way. Understanding that everything belongs to GOD already and that GOD has allowed us to experience and partake in HIS Kingdom through HIS blessings is very important to our KINGDOM RESPONSE.

Understanding that we have NOTHING without GOD is a key deterrent of pride. When GOD really owns everything we then can TRUST HIM COMPLETELY.

Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Job fully understood that all belongs to GOD and chose to not blame or charge GOD foolishly, seeing that he didn’t know what GOD was doing. May the GOD of Glory reveal to us HIS power and might to us that we not foolishly blame HIM for calamities and hardships.

  16. 10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

What happens when we fear the Lord: we are protected and we are blessed. Satan literally has to have permission to mess with us. Get your head up and walk in confidence knowing you’re a child of the King of Kong’s!

  17. 20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

  18. “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth forever”. I Chronicles 16:34 KJV

What great character Job had… And trust! Everyday of my life, I am so thankful for God’s grace and favor in my life.

  19. 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Even in the midst of tragedy we have to be careful with what we say. God is The Giver of all life. And it takes a lot of strength even in Him to praise Him in the valley in the circumstance in the darkness.

  20. Job1:5,
And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burned offerings according. To the Numbers of them all: for Job said, May be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts. This did Job continually.
    ——-
    …… this did Job continually.
His love, his desire to you oh Lord. His trust, his reverence to the God of Israel.

  21. 5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

The best thing parents can do for their children whether they are grown or still in the home is to pray for them daily. Daily bring them up before the Lord to save them.

  22. 5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Although Jobs children were all married and had families of their own, he still had the responsibility of being the priest over them, therefore daily he sacrificed before them unto God for sins that he thought they may have committed.

The act of repentance and sacrifice must be always present in our lives. We never outgrow this aspect of Christian living.

  23. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. This touched me in a way that saying if I’m bad their will be consequences waiting for me just like if I be good I will be thanked or rewards for me in the future so that I can help my family and friends. Because it’s a lot easier if I do it gods way.

  24. Then Satan answered the Lord , and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
    Job 1:9 KJV

Our enemy is stuck on this question. When he’s not asking it to God, he’s asking it to us with a slight adjustment in inflection:
Are you trusting God for nothing?
Where has your trust gotten you?

Then he throws one trial after another into our lives as if to prove the point. It’s not enough that you’ve lost your livelihood, now you’re losing loved ones, too. It’s not enough that your kids are backslid, now you have a chronic disease as well. He knows we can deal with the little disappointments of life; but he’s pretty confident that, if he can overwhelm us, we will curse God and die.

Will we? Life will make sure we find out. We must determine that Calvary was enough. If we lose everything here, Calvary was still enough. God purchased our salvation. He owes us nothing more. He has already been faithful. All our trust in Him is sure because of what He has already done. We cannot allow our faith to be worn out or shaken because life sometimes overwhelms. We must stand firm with Job:
“…Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
    Job 1:21 KJV

“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High…”
    Daniel 7:21‭, ‬25

“Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”
    Hebrews 12:26‭-‬27 KJV

  25. 1 ¶ Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed

12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.
13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.

    >>>Abram just threw her under the bus, to bad he didn’t know this scripture
    Matthew 14:
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

The thing is Abram let his heart talk him out of remembering what the LORD had told him in verse 3
    Matthew 14:
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid

    I need to remember this
    Exodus 23:22 (KJV)
22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

  26. 5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil.

We must remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

  27. Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

I Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you

I Timothy 6:7 for we brought nothing into this world, and we cannot take anything out of the world

  28. “There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. He had seven sons and three daughters. He owned 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, and 500 female donkeys. He also had many servants. He was, in fact, the richest person in that entire area. Job’s sons would take turns preparing feasts in their homes, and they would also invite their three sisters to celebrate with them. When these celebrations ended—sometimes after several days—Job would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭1:1-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  29. There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
    Job 1:1 KJV
Job feared God, he had a deep reverence and respect for God. You can also see this respect for God’s word in the way he prayed for his kids.

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
    Job 1:5 KJV

Job’s actions speak volumes about his fear of the Lord and His commands. He is also displaying a healthy fear of God’s eternal judgment. It reminds me of the time in the Air Force when we received word a general was coming to the base. Everyone went into shake factor and tried to get everything looking its best. Even the officers would shave off their moustaches to ensure they were in regulation. A healthy fear of God would do us all good!

These are just a few of the benefits and references to the fear of the Lord!
Job also eschewed (which means to flee from) evil. God’s Word tells us it’s not enough to just love God but there must also be a hatred for evil. We are told to avoid the appearance of evil.
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
    1 Thessalonians 5:22 KJV

Ye that love the Lord , hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
    Psalms 97:10 KJV

Glory to God, it pays to fear Him and flee from evil!

  30. 1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
2 And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

I never realized that in many things job had a perfect ten.
    7 sons + 3 daughters = 10 children
    7,000 sheep + 3,000 camels = 10,000
    500 oxen + 500 she asses = 1,000
“. . . and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.”

  31. Job 1:20, “The Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped.”

No matter what we may go through or be faced with in this life, we must always remember to WORSHIP the Lord.

  32. 20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

Being a Worshiper is gonna cost you…
It didnt say that he did not react or showed no emotions to his loss. It didnt day that he acted like nothing happened and praised and went on with super human faith. What it does say is that he rent his mantle, shaved his head, and fell upon the ground. Yet while he was there the last thing Job did… he worshiped. Many could ask but what about all he had and much more valuable, what about his sons and daughters? Well it comes only with deep intimate relationship with God that we understand Him fully and understand His Word. His Word tells me the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof and them that dwell there in. Yes it hurts but even our lives belong to Him. His sons and daughters belong to Him, all his possessions belong to Him. The air that we breathe, belong to Him. And it is for the privilege, and God’s trust in us that we are allowed to get stewards over it. I’m pretty sure even though Job was hurting, yet He understood that it all belongs to God, and thus he said, the Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. This, in my opinion is one of the greatest tests; when God brags on you. The end of it all, is he Worthy. When there is nothing left, yet you still have Everything in Him. Sometimes the praise is a sacrifice, the best thing you can bring to the altar is a broken and contrite heart and lay it beside Him and day I worship you…

  33. 6 One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the LORD, and the Accuser, Satan,b came with them. 7“Where have you come from?” the LORD asked Satan. Satan answered the LORD, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”

This goes to show, the enemy is looking for the week. One can easily become the target if you don’t have the Holy Spirit within you. You have to stand guard against the enemy. The Holy Spirit will alert you when trouble comes.

  34. 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

When we go and look what is really going on in this scripture we realize we control our decisions and the Enemy is held back by the hand of the Lord. Our lives are in the hands of Jesus and it gives us security in his word and love.

  35. 20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Job is still praising God after all that has happened. Job didn’t loose sight of what God has planned for him.

  36. 10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

Satan thought he knew what would break Job down and it did but it brought him to his knees to praise God. I fail daily to realize that God has blessed me even in the samllest things. I need to praise for everything even when I don’t want to. I want less of my desire and more of his ways. Thank you God for continually working in my life.

  37. Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship.

He fell to worship, not to complain but to WORSHIP! Every time I read this chapter makes me think of everything I have and how God covered me and my family and blessed me beyond anything. Everything that I have is because of Him!! As trials, tests, grief, sadness, joy, blessings, etc come our way we shall always WORSHIP Him. Worship Him in the good and the bad. Even though it might seem a “bad” situation, God is still there by our side. The enemy could do anything he wanted but he still couldn’t do anything to Job. The enemy is just after our souls and wants us to curse God, but in those bad times we need to remember what Job did and worshipped Him!!! He is worthy of my EVERYTHING!!! Thank you Jesus!!

  38. 20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

After Job lost his wealth, health, and family (all but his wife), he still fell down worshipped God and blessed his Name. He was in an immense amount of grief and knew were to find his comfort. We can learn from this to turn to Jesus when all seems lost or falling apart. He will never leave not forsake us.

  39. 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

Many times we get kingdoms mixed, and short Jesus the credit He is to.

  40. “There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We need to fear God and stay away from evil.
We are surrounded by evil all around the world, in this trip we have seen all kinds of things and we really live in the end of days. You probably asking yourself well what kind of places we are getting ourselves into… right… the sad part is we see evil in restaurants, hotel, parks, people are lost in sin. We must keep our lives out of sin and fear God, wherever we go we can be surrounded by sin and evil situations but we must remain righteous before the Lord at all cost. NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS WORTH LOOSING OUR SALVATION!!!

  41. 7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

What I thought of when I read these verses is that, what is the enemy and God saying about you in the spiritual realm? Is God bragging on you? I would imagine God would want to brag on all of us but he may have to say “I dont know them” if someone isn’t repenting, praying to and talking to God and obeying his word. If you are bringing souls to the kingdom, he may be bragging on the fruit you are growing.

On the opposite end, what is the enemy saying about you? Is he even talking about you at all? Is he not impressed by you? Or is he scared of your praise, soul winning, and living of life away from this word? Is he trying to take shots at you because you are taking away from him? I believe we all should have a goal to be taking away as much from the enemy and bringing it into the kingdom of Jesus.

  42. 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Job realized He came into this world with nothing and cannot take anything from this world with Him. When we entered into the Kingdom of God we came in with nothing. Not sure about you but I had no peace and no hope. Even in my lowest moment in my walk with God has been greater than any moment I could try to live outside of the Kingdom. If I ever chose to leave the Kingdom I am choosing to leave all that the Kingdom has for me behind because I cannot take the favor of the Kingdom outside of the Kingdom.

We cannot charge God for the foolishness that is around when we decide speak or act in a manor that is outside of His Kingdom Character, we cannot complain when we refuse to be under Kingdom Authority, and We we cannot kick and scream when we choose to live outside of Kingdom Submission.

  43. “His sons used to take turns hosting parties in their homes, always inviting their three sisters to join them in their merrymaking. When the parties were over, Job would get up early in the morning and sacrifice a burnt offering for each of his children, thinking, “Maybe one of them sinned by defying God inwardly.” Job made a habit of this sacrificial atonement, just in case they’d sinned.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭1:4-5‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Job was always there to clean up whatever mess his children made. As a new parent I know it’s probably easier to say this than to actually do but we have to stop coming up behind our children and cleaning up theirs mess. At some point we need to step back and allow them to evaluate a situation, how/when/if they’re going to serve God. My mother has always taught me to pray for my children daily, even way before we started to grow our little family. Pray that they have a passion and desire to serve God and really know him so later in life we don’t feel like we need to come behind them spiritually and start cleaning up their nesses.

  44. Job 1: 20 [Amp] Then Job arose and rent his robe and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worship. I will bow to God and worship him all the days of my life.

  45. 12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
Satan may ave permission to test you. you may think about just giving up and letting it happen. but he cant take your salvation from you. legit just fight that fight.
