Job 2

Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.

And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

12 And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

  1. 6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

Even though whenever satan and the enemy thinks they have the upper hand on you and it may feel like you’re on the edge of giving up we’re reminded that we are still in god’s hand and he reminds us that he’ll always have the upper hand over satan, death, hell and the grave.

  2. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Thank you lord for your lessons, blessings, and beyond. Thank you lord for your faith building trials. Never give place to the devil, never give him any credit. Always give God the glory. PRAISE HIM IN THE STORM! God never means to tear us down. Our toubles may be heartbreaking and seem unfair but we must keep our faith. You never know what God is preparing you for.

  3. Do not google boils head to toe unless you really wanna get the imagery of Jobs situation. However I did read up on a few things it’s not just boils you know. There’s severe pain and extremely high fevers involved as well. Job was literally scraping these things off with a broken piece of pottery and still wouldn’t curse God. His heart and mindset was “how could I only thank God for the good and not the bad” and he went on with it. We gotta get on with it folks. Some people curse God after something that doesn’t go their way or if someone hurts their feeling but here God was allowing Satan to do these things to job but job still kept his integrity and we should follow the steps of a righteous man on this beautiful day. Let’s be a witness and a good lead and lead by example to those who have little to none integrity and respect for God.

  4. 11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
12 And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

Not everyone who claims to be your friend, is your friend. Sometimes it is through the fire that we find out who your true friends are, we find out if they’re really for us or if they’re really for themselves. We see who’s there and our lives that benefit from us and the ones that are benefit to us. In all honesty, you don’t need a lot of friends you just need a couple that will stand by your side and truly encourage you when things are at its worst oh, they wont point their fingers nor try to shame you during your desperate times. A true friend will be there to help guide and direct you. Trials will be like a fire that drives the snakes out.

  5. Job 2

1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.

2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

    • Job Chapter 1-3
Chapter 1 verse 1 is trying to say is that Jesus came to present themselves to the lord before satan presented himself before the lord and no Pentecostal Holy Ghost tongue speaking spirit person should believe that Jesus is the man of creation and soul and people should believe in satan but this is a lot of evil in this world because of satan.
2.Jesus said to Satan(Devil)from going to and from the earth to up and down satan is not doing good to people he turning people bad and the only thing that can turn people good is Jesus and the Holy Ghost and if you go to Pentecostal Church and you get baptized your sins of satan are washed away and you are a new person speaking in tongues worshipping Jesus having the Holy Ghost people should not go to Catholic Church because they speak the false Christianity because they talk about icons and false doctrine and whorn so never go to Catholic Church already go to Pentecostal because they speak the truth .
3.And Jesus Took a Job and there is nothing like Jesus on this earth and as a perfect Man can one fear god and dwell evil and can he hold his integrity against satan the devil to destroy him without false cause

  6. Verse 10 MSG “He told her, “You’re talking like an empty-headed fool. We take the good days from God—why not also the bad days?” Most in this situation would not have had the embrace that Job had whether it be good or bad. We must remember in all things to give thanks and praise His mighty name.

Psalm 34:1 AMP “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

  7. Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
    Job 2:9‭-‬10 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/job.2.9-10.KJV

Even those closest to us can try and tear us down. In this case Job’s own wife told him to curse God and die, but guess what? Job wouldn’t do it. His integrity with God was so strong that he was able to stand against his own wife. How is your integrity; could you stand against those closest to you that would have you curse the name of the Lord. Is your walk so strong that you stand amidst the flesh monster and continue to praise God in times if desperation and in the good times. I know that I have a hard time giving my all to God. I’m under construction: I have to allow God to move in my life to show that all is good. Even when I feel down God gets the glory. Don’t allow anyone or anything to pull you from the grace of God; no matter the situation. Thank you Jesus for my confidence in You.

  8. 4. And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

    5. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

    10. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Some people live under the misconception that satan can see into the future. If that were true, he would have been able to see that Job wasn’t going to curse God.
He was wrong about Job, and he’s wrong about you!

  9. And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven. So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

Sometimes you hear of a situation and you dont think of how bad it is! They had no clue what Job was going through, none could understand, how can they understand what it was like to lose everything except your heckling wife! But I know what it’s like that you see how situations in life brought people to a place where they aren’t even recognizable they are so broken, but they felt for Job, they had compassion for Job! We have to find compassion, we have to have it, I cant serve God without it, because the old nora didnt care about nothing or their situations, God had to bring me to a place of change, he had to put me back to default, so I dont let all the infectious poisons ruin the way God is changing me. All the viruses that destroyed my mind and had me thinking, scheming and devising plans to hurt others and myself! Thank you Jesus for setting my mind back to default, back to the way you intended my mind to work!

    FIRST THE KINGDOM

  10. Job 2 : 10 But He said to her, You speak as one of the impious and foolish women would speak ,
What? Shall we accept [ only] good at the hand of God and shall we not accept [ also] misfortune and what is a bad nature? In [ spite of] all this Job did not sin with his lips. You will have good days and you will have bad days. But remember to always give God the Praise and Glory. With my mouth I will shout his name and praise him at all times .

  11. 8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

Because Job offered Sacrifices often, and he loved God, he knew the place where he was to go when he became unclean. The boils made him unclean. Certain ashes from the alter were to be put without the city, for they were unclean. Job sat inn these ashes, in hopes of being as close to God as he could get, because he was desperate for a touch from God. What do we do when we are desperate for a touch from God? Do we fall back on where we know we found Him before? do we willingly stay obedient, even when we are ridiculed? Is our integrity strong enough to keep us holy when no one is around?

  12. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Let it be good or bad come what comes, YOU MUST PRAISE THE LORD!!!! At all times! Once we learn to love and honor God no matter what and NEVER let go of His saving Grace; He will never leave us not forsakes us!

  13. Proverbs 25:25. NIV

is good news from a distant land.
    Proverbs 25:25 Message
Like a cool drink of water when you’re worn out and weary
    is a letter from a long-lost friend.

9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

    This Is Only A Test

Somewhere I’m missing it …..I don’t like to read the book of Job but I’m searching

Could it be The Test is to make us stronger. To see our own areas of weakness. To build up our spiritual muscles?
Preparation for what is to come.

I’m sure Job was hurting especially when the one closet to him wanted him to curse God whom had greatly blessed them. Father I pray that whatever it is You are trying to teach me through these scriptures that I can receive Your Word. I tell others healing comes through walking back through the memories and then allowing God to begin to heal them. It’s painful as the Surgeon works on our hearts but His hands are gentle and caring . Did God want to destroy Job ? Of course not ….help us to realize that God is God and He does want what’s best for us. In our weakness He is made strong .

“Jesus said [in response to Paul’s prayer], ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”

No one wants to appear weak? This is where we come before God I decrease He increases .

Job never allowed sin to enter his lips
Guard me Lord let me hold tightly to you.
The warrior is a child but my God is bigger than any giant. . I can take spiritual authority in Jesus name!

I must share with others why I believe your Word why I believe the power of your Spirit even when they attack with unbelief. On Jesus Christ the firm foundation Ivwill stand !

    Preparation ……
    This Is Only A Test!

  14. 8And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

When in the test, will you still be standing?

As i read this, my thoughts go to when Im being tested. How do respond to it? How do others that are standing aro7nd me see how I handle the situation. Your teatimony is one of the greatest things you have to show others God. In that, what you do, says who you are. I must not allow these things that come up against me to overtake what my testimony is. No matter the trials of life bring, i must stand firm on the Words of God and His Promises. I must seek out Hos Kingdom everyday and recieve my Daily Bread.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God
    How is your altar

  15. 2:3 And the Lord said unto satan , hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth. A perfect and upright man, one that fear WhT God, and eschew Ed evil? And still he holds fast his integrity , although thou movested me against him, to destroy him without. Cause.
This is the second time God asked the enemy the same question.
Yes, we all know the enemy ‘target is to kill to steal and to destroy all humans.
But did the enemy have his eyes on Job? I see that it was God who first mention Job.
    🥴🥴🥴???????????

  16. “One day the members of the heavenly court came again to present themselves before the Lord, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them. “Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.” Then the Lord asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil. And he has maintained his integrity, even though you urged me to harm him without cause.” Satan replied to the Lord, “Skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life. But reach out and take away his health, and he will surely curse you to your face!””
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭2:1-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This shows that both God and Satan understood that the attack could only come to Job because God allowed it.

  17. iLove the Kingdom
“Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and nights. No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I googled “severe boils” and was shocked at what I saw. People are hardly recognizable and this is exactly how Job looked. It is amazing that this man (was was the grandson of Noah’s son) endured the trials that he did. The curious thing however are Jobs friends. They show so much compassion on him at first according to this verse and then soon turn on him and lash at him with their tongues… wow… come on y’all, let’s love each other all the time

  18. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Maintain your integrity! People are gonna come, maybe even those closest to you, and wonder why you’re even doing what you’re doing. Just tell them you love Jesus and trust He’ll work it all out if we remain faithful!

    • Yes!
I do admonish you as a new bride pray for your husband. As he leads ;you may not always understand why he continues when all odds may come against him. Respect him as you would respect God . God first then husband. Encourage lift up but most of all pray!
      My new niece …. Blessings

  19. Job 2:7-10
Job stood the trial , and appeared brightest in the furnace of affliction. There might be risings of corruption in his heart but grace had the upper hand.

v.10 But he said unto her. Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
1:21 And said Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

  20. 9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

Isn’t it funny when everything is going so good the attitudes of people are extremely high and happy. But let something happen that they don’t expect or not ready for, then they automatically want to curse God and ask the million dollar question that everyone always ask- “Why?”

No one takes in account the days of God trying to get people’s attention until he has to use drastic measures. But the response was priceless. Job immediately told his wife, “you are a foolish woman!” To me when the going is good, we have to continually give God glory for all that we have. When the going gets bad, we still need to find the strength to thank God for even the bad times. We have to realize no matter how good or bad it gets, there is nothing in this world that is worth dying for. We have to make a decision to stand for the things of God’s kingdom and seek first his kingdom and all the things that we need will be added to it.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going!
That is we need to get going to God.

    I love the Kingdom!

  21. So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.
    Job 2:13 KJV

We often avoid grieving people because we don’t know what to say to them. I believe this verse can remind us that presence is more important than platitudes. Sometimes we don’t have to say anything at all; we just need to take a hand or put an arm around a shoulder and weep with those who weep.

Even the best of intentions can cause us to say foolish and hurtful things to one who is grieving. Such was the case with Job’s friends. They were friends as long as they grieved with him in silence. However, when they opened their mouths, they became accusers and adversaries.

They came to comfort, but they allowed their own hubris to judge Job’s situation as if they were all-knowing. They tried to fix Job’s problem according to their own wisdom, experience, and viewpoint. Rarely is this effective, and often (as in Job’s case) it does more harm than good. Silent comfort was for them the better strategy by far. Had they remained silent, they would have continued to absorb Job’s grief rather than compound it.

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak…”
    James 1:19 KJV

  22. 9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

We have to understand that it was her children too that they lost. It was also her wealth that was taken away. And though she is looked upon with shame; many people would react the same way she did.

So how did her husband keep his integrity? How did he continue to worship in the midst of great loss? It’s simple; he trusted God.

Her pain is understandable but she was living only by what she could see. She was living based on her circumstances instead of by faith.

We must be honest with ourselves and ask; which am I? Would I be like Job and continue to worship? Or would I be as his wife and lose all hope in God?

    One more statement:
Other than God, Jobs wife is who he counted on most. I’m sure during all this pain and sorrow, he had hoped to have her love and encouragement. How it must have hurt when she turned her back on God.

We must be sure that we are bringing encouragement to those that are counting on us. That we are building their faith and not tearing it down. That we are bringing them joy and not adding to their sorrow.

  23. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    FIRST THE KINGDOM

9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

There are loving kind people that have weak or no faith. There is no doubt that Job loved his wife. They had built a wonderful life together, with children, resources and friends.

But, when the unexplainable happened, the roots of FAITH are exposed. Job had every natural and carnal reason to denounce and curse GOD. In fact if he had been like Adam he would have and we would not be reading his story.

The people that make history are the people that put GOD FIRST even when they do not understand all that GOD is doing, In spite of all that went wrong and all that was against him, job chose to seek FIRST THE KINGDOM of GOD.

There will be times when we are placing GOD FIRST in our lives that we will have to tell the weaker FAITH people that their words are foolish. This did not mean that Job stopped loving his wife. This brethren is called “LEADERSHIP” of the home.

Job knew and recognized that GOD had given him all that he had. Therefore he refused to curse or blame GOD. There may be occasions that life seems more than we can bear. On these occasions we should purpose to Seek FIRST THE KINGDOM of GOD. Not work, or friends, or finances, or fun, or isolation, or pleasure, or the world. Seek FIRST THE KINGDOM.

    ASK

JESUS what HE wants us to do and then GO DO IT. Seeking FIRST THE KINGDOM is putting GOD FIRST in everything.

  24. One day when the angels came to report to God , Satan also showed up. God singled out Satan, saying, “And what have you been up to?” Satan answered God , “Oh, going here and there, checking things out.” Then God said to Satan, “Have you noticed my friend Job? There’s no one quite like him, is there—honest and true to his word, totally devoted to God and hating evil? He still has a firm grip on his integrity! You tried to trick me into destroying him, but it didn’t work.”
    Job 2:1‭-‬3 MSG

Remember God has control over the enemy. Satan had to get permission from God to torment Job. The enemy is real but everything we go through is used to make us stronger in prayer, able to wage war in the Spirit, interceed for others with the heart of God, build up our character, help us overcome situations, etc. God has a Divine Purpose. He can take every situation and use it for good.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Genesis 50:20

  25. “But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I’m reminded of the scripture for every time there is a season.

“A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;” Eph 3:4

God is the Creator of All, He allows the good and the bad. And we should praise and stand in awe for it’s all for our good and His Kingdom!

  26. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

Job could have chosen to curse God after everything he had lost. BUT… He chose to give God thanks instead. I am reminded of Bro. Shatwell’s message, “There will always be a reason”. But Job found a reason to keep serving God and continued to give Him glory and honor.

  27. 13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

Many times you do not have to talk to someone in pain, but just be with them to show them that you care about their situation.

  28. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. I think this means that we have to be faithful to God because he is always there for us even through the tough times so we can go to heaven and get to holy ghost. And if we go to heaven and we get the holy ghost we will be in God kingdom.

  29. 4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

Job was trying to please God by works and not by walking with God. As he goes through trials he becomes closer to god. I know from experience that trails are not meant to distory u but to make you stronger in God.

  30. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

Jobs integrity remained intact at this time. How is our integrity? Do we maintain a Christian attitude when we are being tested? Can we be accused of having a Christ-like attitude at all times? The fruit of the spirit should be evident in us daily.

  31. Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
    Job 2:11 KJV

Job’s friends started out with good intentions. They did the right thing by making time for Job, and they had a clear purpose: to comfort and mourn with him. They also did the right thing by just sitting with him and not saying anything, because sometimes the best thing you can do for a person who is grieving is just to be there for them. Job’s three friends would have done well to just stop there, instead their speech went on to betray him. Initially, they emphasized and had compassion, but after a week of silence, they seemed to lose all of that. We, too, can lose patience with the prolonged sufferings of others. That’s when we need a fresh dose of the Holy Ghost.

  32. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

Satan needs no reason to come against us. He hates us because we are the apple of God’s eye. We may wonder why the Lord allows the test, but he could be preparing us for something worse coming down the road. Hold on to God through it all and he will see us through to the other side of it. I pray we as brothers and sisters in the Lord help one another through these trials, not turn on one another looking for our faults.

  33. 1 ¶ Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
2 And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3 ¶ And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause

    2 Chronicles 16:9 (KJV)
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of [them] whose heart [is] perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
2 Chronicles 20:17 (KJV) Ye shall not [need] to fight in this [battle]: set yourselves, stand ye [still], and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD [will be] with you.

  34. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

I would hope that in our walk with God, if we were looked at to be perfect in the eyes of the Lord, “that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” Then I would hope and pray that my wife and I would be both included as such. Both perfect in his eyes, equally yoked rather than unequally yoked. My prayer today is that we could strife more to be on the same page. That if we were ever in this dilemma that something like this would never happen. One of us seeing the good and the other telling the first to curse God and die! I pray that we as a couple would never come to this point.

  35. 8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

Do you have people around that are gonna lift you up or tear you down? Are the people around you going to bring you closer to Jesus or draw you further away from Jesus? Its important to surround yourself with people that are going to bring you closer to Jesus. And it is especially important to be in marriage with someone that brings you closer. We can see that Job’s wife is doing the exact. Job may have been blameless before God but he wasn’t as good when it comes to picking the right wife, or friends for that matter. Be careful which you let in close

  36. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. I think this means that we have to stay faithful to God no matter if we’re going through tough times or easy times we have to stay faithful to God we can go to heaven with the holy ghost and the baptism of Jesus name so that we can enter his gates with Thanksgiving and we will thank him. He loves us so that we can love him back.

  37. Job was faithful unto God and so because his integrity was great he did not sin with his lips even though he was struck with boils from the sole of his feet to the top of his head.

  38. Then his wife said to him, “Do you still cling to your integrity [and your faith and trust in God, without blaming Him]? Curse God and die!” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the [spiritually] foolish women speaks [ignorant and oblivious to God’s will]. Shall we indeed accept [only] good from God and not [also] accept adversity and disaster?” In [spite of] all this Job did not sin with [words from] his lips.
    JOB 2:9‭-‬10 AMP

What an example to all men and women Job is here.
To see Job standing flat footed, rooted in truth. Job didn’t look to the left nor the right. But he kept his focus on the LORD. I’ve recognized in my relationship with the Lord as I go through seasons in my life, I must TRUST in Him at all times. The bible simply says this:

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.
    James 1:2‭-‬4 MSG

  39. Job 1:22, “In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.”
Job 2:10, “… In all this did not Job sin with his lips.”

Words are easy to use. Death and life are in the power of the tongue… (Prov. 18:21).
Psalms 141:3 says, “Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.”

No matter what I may go through in this life, good or bad, I pray I will always Worship the Lord and give Him the Glory, Honor, and Praise that is due unto His Name.

  40. 6 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life
Even the devil has to ask permission from God

  41. A man will give up everything he has to save his life.”
    ‭‭

  42. But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.

The power of unity at the home. As trials come to everyone’s n home, it’s so important for the couple to be rooted in the Lord for when one is doubting the other is firm in the faith, when one is sad the other will remind them of all the things to rejoice for, when one is depressed the other prays and rebukes the spirit of depression, when one is weak the other one is strong. Being married for 10 years has taught me that my husband and I are a team, we’re not against each other but for each other. Trials and tribulations is what has kept us united more and stronger than ever. It’s so important to support one another and pray for one another. The key is unity! Nothing can knock you out when your home is rooted in the Lord!!

  43. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause
To be considered to be tested by God. for God to say what about the best of the best Jose. Try him, he might bend and get beat up, but he will not break. i pray for a solid faith one thats un breakable

  44. 4Satan replied to the LORD, “Skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life. 5But reach out and take away his health, and he will surely curse you to your face!”

Again, Satan does not give up. He will go after you no matter what. Its like revenge, an eye for an eye. He’s betting that you will eventually give up in worshipping God. So stay strong in God’s Word.

  45. 9 Y díjole su mujer: ¿Aún retienes tu integridad? Maldice a Dios, y muere.

  46. 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

One of my favorite characters in the Bible is David because David does things and he lives for God is a man after Gods own heart and we all know that David made mistakes but he recovered from them. What about Job I wanna be like Job. Job was a blessed man and was a Man if God And I want to be looked at as a man of God a God-fearing man and a worshiper in general. I want God to tell the enemy you see this man right here he will not for sake me because he is committed to me. I will be that man!

  47. 12 And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

I have been through a lot of grief in my life a lot of self inflicted also and felt like giving up so many times but if we only remember greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world and praise him, he will never leave us nor forsake us but see us through to the end in every situation

  48. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

There’s a purpose in all the trials we go through. We may not understand it but we can trust God. He gives and take away. The things He takes away in our lives can hurt but He will be there to heal us and strengthen us.

  49. 11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

There is a way to minister that is not too seen but it is most valued. Sometimes all it takes is an encouraging word, or just plain being there. The important thing is to show God’s love and mercy.

  50. “One day when the angels came to report to GOD, Satan also showed up. GOD singled out Satan, saying, “And what have you been up to?” Satan answered GOD, “Oh, going here and there, checking things out.” Then GOD said to Satan, “Have you noticed my friend Job? There’s no one quite like him, is there—honest and true to his word, totally devoted to God and hating evil? He still has a firm grip on his integrity! You tried to trick me into destroying him, but it didn’t work.””
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭2:1-3‬ ‭MSG‬‬

What an honor to have God speak so highly of someone. And to know someone made of the dust the earth brought so much joy. And a man that stood out to God. WOW!

  51. “And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What a character witness that God would say how great he was.

    escheweth—
    to turn aside, depart
    (Qal)
to turn aside, turn in unto
to depart, depart from way, avoid
    to be removed
    to come to an end
    (Polel) to turn aside
    (Hiphil)
to cause to turn aside, cause to depart, remove, take away, put away, depose
to put aside, leave undone, retract, reject, abolish
(Hophal) to be taken away, be removed

  52. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

  53. Job 2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
Col 2:4 (KJV) — And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.

I feel like Job was and had a true love Of and for God ~> James 1:22 (KJV) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
He tried to make himself deceive himself
    ~~>
Job 6:9-11 Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off! Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One. What is my strength, that I should hope? and what is mine end, that I should prolong my life? Is my strength the strength of stones? or is my flesh of brass?

~>> God created the light and darkness so HE already knows when we are shadowed….

Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
That’s why saten wanted ~>Job 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

    But God already knows EVERYTHING
Job 2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
