Job 3

After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

And Job spake, and said,

Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.

Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.

Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.

Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:

10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother’s womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.

11 Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

12 Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

14 With kings and counsellors of the earth, which build desolate places for themselves;

15 Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver:

16 Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light.

17 There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.

18 There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.

19 The small and great are there; and the servant is free from his master.

20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

22 Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?

23 Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?

24 For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.

25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

  1. For sighing has become my daily food; my groans pour out like water. What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil.”
    Job 3:24‭-‬26 NIV

Nobody likes a complainer but Job had alot to moan and groan about. He curses the day he was born and now is in a depression. This is when we need to pray harder and keeppushing through. When we star to come down on ourselves its when we start letting life get to us instead of God.

  2. “Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?”d
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He rather be dead Or never been born Then curse God .WOW!

  3. 20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

    21 Which long for death, but it cometh not; and dig for it more than for hid treasures;

22 Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?

How many times in our life have we faced misery of trials and tribulations and simply wanted to die? Job has began his struggle with the process of losing everything that was in his life. The materialistic items that he lost caused some bitterness and hatred rise from inside him. But he would not curse God. I can only imagine the pain that be described in this scripture because dealing with death and having to comfort people, trials and tribulations will cause a human to do and say things that they would not normally say or do. The stress of the situation will be so overcoming that we sometimes don’t remember what we say.

But even through turmoil the process of Job we as Christians need to take note on how we should act. We are human and guided by emotions, but we can not say or do things that can not be undone. Remember the tests that we go through are only tests that will bring some of the greatest testimonies and how we can be a great witness unto God. That’s why it is simple, seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all the things we need will be added unto us.

Tests bring testimonies, and trials bring victories!

    I love the Kingdom!

  4. Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

6 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.

7 Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.

8 Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.

9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:

  5. 3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.
4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

This is where he started to slip. Job had kept everything to himself, and refused to curse God but this what’s his main fallacy. He began to regret the day of his birth because his troubles were so great. this is where he began to feel sorry for himself rather than keeping his eyes focused on God. As soon as we take her eyes off God focus on our troubles and the way we believe things should be we lose sight and what’s most important. . I don’t know a single person that would not have felt this way given the circumstances that he was in. If he was one of the most righteous men then surely we would not be far off in feeling the same way. What we can take away from this story is where we can personally avoid this first step. By staying focused

  6. In reading this chapter, Job poses a lot of questions in the run through of what he is going through. It reminds of when a child asks; but, “why” and for every answer there is another “why”. We may not always fully understand “why” we are going through something or “why” this is happening or happened; but, we must fully trust the Lord and let him lead us in IT, through IT and out of IT. God’s got this!

Psalm 55:22 AMP “Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).”

1 Peter 5:7 AMP “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”

  7. The idea of cursing God didn’t even occur to Job. He was committed to God. There was no way whatsoever he was gonna turn his back on the Lord. That’s where we have to stand, we can’t turn our backs on our commitments. When there’s noncommittal in one person it won’t take long to rub off on someone else. This is why we must be cautious who were letting influence our everyday lives. This is why accountability is important because no one can do it alone. We have to squash noncommittal before it attempts to devour.

  8. For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.
    Job 3:24‭-‬26 KJV

As Job’s trial is just beginning; somewhere another is being tested as well. God knows what he’s doing. He knows when we need the trials and tests. You see Job was a very faithful and devout man. Even though he was put through hell and cursed his birth. Not one time did a bad word come out against God. That is the problem today; people are so fast to blame God for what’s happening in their life. What we should be doing is glorifying God for that trial. No matter what we always come out stronger and mightier than before. It is all in how you approach the situation: let’s see; I can curse all that is going on and give up or I can praise and push through. Which would I chose; I’ll take a giant helping of push through, please. God can and will guide us through as long as we seek Him always. Thank you Jesus for guiding me through my trials.

  9. I cannot eat for sighing; my groans pour out like water. What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true. I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.”
    Job 3:24‭-‬26 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.3.24-26.NLT

I think Job is in grief, and he probably dont understand what is going on! He woke up and was praising God, and giving sacrifice life was good, and then….I dont snow what happened, he probably begins to examine himself and try to see where he fell short! It’s hard to be in a situation that you dont have a clue of how you got there! I’ve been there before, and it was hard to find the strength, because it seemed like grief consumed me, but I finally stop looking for peace and strength, and allowed God to give me his strength, a nd peace. God is a gentleman he dont force us to be happy, Armstrong, but he gives us the tools to, and if we sont use them when we need to that is on us! Thank you Jesus for unexplainable peace, and that strength that helps me stand when I cant on my own!

    FIRST THE KINGDOM

  10. 6. As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.

We’ve all had days we wish we could just erase as if they had never happened. What I’m wondering is why he doesn’t just curse the day everything fell apart instead of the day he was born, where his whole life would be erased?

  11. Job 3: 18-19 [Amp] There the [ captive] prisoners rest together; they hear not the taskmaster’s voice.
[19] The small and the great are there, and the servant is free from His master.
[Jer.20:14-18] Cursed be the day on which I was born! Let not the day on which my mother bore me be blessed! Cursed be the man who brought the tidings to my father, saying , A son is born to you! Making him very glad. And let the man be like the cities which the Lord overthrew, and did not relent. Let him hear the [ war] cry in the morning and the shouting of alarm at noon.Because he did not slay me in the womb, so that my mother might have been my grace, and her womb always great. Why did I come out of the womb to see labor and sorrow that my days should be consumed in shame? There was alot of guestions that Job had. Sometimes you don’t understand why things happen in your life. Because of disobeintant to the Lord it will happen. Repent , Repent, and give it to Jesus. There no other God but Jesus.

  12. 3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

6 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.

Despite the fact he had lost pretty much everything and despite the fact he was depressed about what happened to the point he wanted to die, he didn’t blame God for what happened to him. Dont blame God for the mess you are in, he is just looking to see if you still love him or not

  13. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

2 And Job spake, and said,

3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.

4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.

5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.

Job cursed his day but he didn’t curse God. He lost himself in his grief and turmoil. Through all of his suffering as his sanity seemed to unravel he still had the foundation of his relationship with God to keep his mind from losing himself in complete insanity. I believe God held his mind and protected the fibers of his being from being frayed and unraveling completely. If he had not already had his relationship with God established, this catastrophe would have consumed him and he probably would have lost his mind. Sometimes in the darkness of the storm God holds us together so we don’t fall apart. He hold our minds so we don’t lose it, our hearts so they’re not torn to pieces…and if we let him…our spirits from being wounded. Remember…when Job comes out of this he’s better than he ever was. God held him.

  14. 11 Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

12 Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?

13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

The pain of losing a child is overwhelming. It feels like they have cut you so deep that the pain does not stop. I can’t imagine losing all your children in one moment. Job in his pain doesn’t want to curse God so he directs all of his frustration to himself and begins asking questions that have no answer. Only God knows but it’s hard to hear His voice when we are having a monologue. Some questions are left unanswered but that’s when Faith and Trust comes in. We need to TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL OUR HEART no matter what!

  15. Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
    Job 3:11 KJV

I could never imagine the pain Job felt after losing what i think he loved the most(children). Deep as the pain may had been, His love for GOD is greater! He showed his faithfulness toward GOD through it all.
Our season in life may want to cause us to throw in the towel, in this journey called life…when I look back at His faithfulness and love towards me, how can I?

but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.
    2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 AMP

  16. Job 3
What’s the point of life when it doesn’t make sense,
when God blocks all the roads to meaning?

    I Have A Testimony
Job verbalized what is in his heart Many times people hide their pain so deeply feeling shame to admit their true feelings. It’s called repression. If there ever was anyone we can truly “let our hair down with” it is God. I have found that the more I allow myself to be real with God and people the more He can be glorified. It’s ok to feel discouraged. It’s ok to have a moment of frustration. It’s what we do next the matters the most. What do we do with discouraging moments? What about frustrating situations. This is where true relationships with God and hopefully with some one you can trust has to come into your life. If we the body of Christ wow it just came to me the body of Christ we are His voice we are His hands we are His ears . Why can’t we just take a moment to listen to the heart of someone hurting.
Too busy with our own problems. Too busy being busy. …….desperate people are going to show up
atbthe most inopportune time. Are we willing to lay aside the agenda Jesus did…….if we are the body Christ why aren’t our hands reaching , our ears listening If I am too busy then I have missed God’s will to go out into the world. Job was hurting Job was righteous he had to just say how he was feeling
Will we judge him for being real. We should actually thank him for it.

We must let this world know the test God has seen us through which had become our testimonies.

    I Have A Testimony
    II Corinthians 1:3-8
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. 6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7 And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. 8 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself.

  17. 1After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

When all hope is lost, we feel that there is no where to turn too. But remember that God is always with you no matter what. He has never left you, and he will always love you. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God everyday, and gain strength from His Word.

    How is your altar
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  18. ““Let the day of my birth be erased, and the night I was conceived. Let that day be turned to darkness. Let it be lost even to God on high, and let no light shine on it. Let the darkness and utter gloom claim that day for its own. Let a black cloud overshadow it, and let the darkness terrify it. Let that night be blotted off the calendar, never again to be counted among the days of the year, never again to appear among the months. Let that night be childless. Let it have no joy. Let those who are experts at cursing— whose cursing could rouse Leviathan — curse that day. Let its morning stars remain dark. Let it hope for light, but in vain; may it never see the morning light. Curse that day for failing to shut my mother’s womb, for letting me be born to see all this trouble.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:3-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Job here is despising the day of his birth and wishing that this day could be wiped off the calendar of history. Job does not curse God here or anywhere else in the Book of Job; but here he makes his strongest statements against God and especially against the wisdom and plan of God.

  19. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

Everything was taken away from Job but he still didn’t curse God. When things happen to us we assume we did something wrong and we are being punished. However even when we are doing everything right we are the first ones satan will come after.

  20. Job has saddened me and touched my heart. I have felt what he is going through, but as long as we stay close to God, he will heal our brokenness.
    Amen

  21. 3:11 why sided I not from the womb? Why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
    ——
    Why, why,why…..
To many whys. But the word says that Job never sinned again not God.
He had many whys, until one Day, God decided to speak and things changed.
So I guess we can have the whys but get over it, know that God is in control of ALL THINGS.
    My trust is the Lord!!!!!
    Hallelujah 🙌🙌🎈🎈

  22. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

This chapter begins the battle in Job’s mind. He begins to question everything; except the faithfulness of God.

satan was confident that he could push Job to curse God. He cursed the day of his birth; but still, he did not even come close to cursing God.

    “I have this confidence because
I’ve seen the faithfulness of God
The still inside the storm, the promise of the shore
I trust the power of Your word
Enough to seek Your Kingdom first
Beyond the barren place, beyond the ocean waves
When I walk through the waters, I won’t be overcome
When I go through the rivers, I will not be drowned
My God will make a way, so I am not afraid
You keep the promises You make
There isn’t one that is delayed
So I will not lose heart, here, I will lift my arms
And start to sing into the night
My praise will call the sun to rise
Declare the battle won, declare that it is done
When I walk through the waters, I won’t be overcome
When I go through the rivers, I will not be drowned
My God will make a way, so I am not afraid
When I am in the fire, I will not feel the flame
I’ll stand before the giant, declaring victory
My God will make a way, so I am not afraid
Before me, behind me, always beside me
No shadow, no valley, where You won’t find me
    No, I am not afraid
Before me, behind me, always beside me
No shadow, no valley, where You won’t find me
    No, I am not afraid
    I am not afraid“

  23. 20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;

Recently heard that light works best in darkness. When trouble comes, let God be the light to guide you through and on out!

  24. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    THE PEACE OF COVERING

25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

Job had great confidence in GOD. His words here are obviously from a broken heart and a wounded spirited man. His lifestyle was accustomed to the FAVOR and PROTECTION of the covering of GOD. He lived as a man under authority. Which means he was covered or protected by an authority greater than him.

I believe this to be “the THING” which Job greatly feared. That he would live his life without the covering of GOD. I don’t believe that Job was a fear monger that was expecting to lose everything. Therefore Job must have been referring to the covering, protection and peace of GOD over his life.

Unfortunately I lived 22 years of my life outside of the covering of GOD and as I recall it was quite fearful and dreadful. I choose to live under the covering of the GRACE and PEACE of GOD.

The THING that I fear most is 1 single minute outside of THE PEACE OF COVERING.

JESUS, I pray you guide me every second to remain under the covering of your Grace and Mercy.

  25. 9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day: I think this means that whenever we go to do something and we still do it so we feel so much brokenness and we just say how bout I just shutup and u say why was I even born why was I made to be here so we have to show God how much we love him by doing his will and just loving him we have to no matter how hard it hurts we have to love him and know that he loves and we just need him in our lives so that we can have everlasting life we need the holy ghost we need to be baptized in Jesus name and we have to repent no matter how hard it is.

  26. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

where so you find your rest? there has to come a time where a believer has to know where there absolute source of power comes from. some people find rest is drugs and alcohol. but i choose to find rest in Jesus.

  27. After reading Job 3, I really can’t wait for church tonight…

Job 3:10-15 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother’s womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes. Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly? Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck? For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest, With kings and counsellors of the earth, which built desolate places for themselves; Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver: Or as an hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light.

  28. Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.
    Job 3:3 KJV
Job opens his mouth, curses the day he was born, and pours out his misery. Jesus said out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Job’s heart is full of anger, despair and depression. His first words after the initial loss were those of worship. Initially he blessed God but after a time of mourning, he could not shake off the negative thoughts he was having and then just spewed them out. This is the time Job needs true friends to help him through his pain because we understand that is the pain speaking. After going through all of that suffering, he is going to need to vent. Hopefully, we will find an understanding and compassionate ear when our time comes to vent over our tragedies. Thank God for a compassionate God and Pastor that we can talk to in our times of suffering. We are truly blessed!

  29. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

Job endured continued to give thanks, continually, rather than cursing God. I’m sure at times Job was overwhelmed and felt like giving up but he chose to praise God instead of being foolish!

Lord, make me a House of Prayer…. Day & Night!

  30. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

Job was not going to curse God for what he was going thru, yet with his tongue he grumbled a d complained that he was ever born which in essence is telling God that He doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Recently I heard of a pastor challenging his church to a 7 day challenge. They could not complain about anything for 7 days. If they complained they had to start their 7 days over. How would we do with that challenge? Are we like Job and maybe not curse God for what we are going thru but gripe and complain about everything?

Perhaps had Job never opened his mouth with a complaint his trial wouldn’t have lasted as long.

The power of life and death are in the tongue….,

  31. ““Instead of bread I get groans for my supper, then leave the table and vomit my anguish. The worst of my fears has come true, what I’ve dreaded most has happened. My repose is shattered, my peace destroyed. No rest for me, ever—death has invaded life.””
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:24-26‬ ‭MSG‬‬

His fears were made real. The things he was living through were extremely horrible (that’s a drastic understatement). When I think of things in our world today that might compare I can only think of tragedies that are caused by humans. That gives someone to blame, someone to focus anger on. In this case, there was no one to blame. It just happened. Raw emotion. Overwhelming emotion. Still, he did not curse God.

  32. Why is light given to one burdened with grief, and life to those whose existence is bitter, who wait for death, but it does not come, and search for it more than for hidden treasure,
    Job 3:20‭-‬21 HCSB

Job is overwhelmed by his grief and wishing he could just die. He is hoping when he lays his head down at night that he won’t see the sun rise again in the morning. Yet, there the light is, morning after morning; he can’t seem to escape it. New light shines as though there is still hope in existence.

    And so there is…

As long as the sun keeps rising on your problems, there’s hope for a turnaround. A change can come. Sickness can flee. A womb can be filled with new life. Joy can follow sorrow.

As long as the Light keeps shining, there is hope. God is still in control. We must look at each new day as a promise that God is not finished writing our story. He can still work things together for good. There may yet be a happy ending.

So, what shall I do with today? While the pain lingers and the hope is obscured?

    The Psalmist answers:
“Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth. Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side. I will also praise Thee with the psaltery, even Thy truth, O my God: unto Thee will I sing with the harp, O Thou Holy One of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto Thee; and my soul, which Thou hast redeemed. My tongue also shall talk of Thy righteousness all the day long…”
    Psalm 71:20-24a KJV

He acknowledged his pain, but spoke hope and praise anyway. He prayed and sang and praised his way through, until the better day came.

    Paul similarly instructs:
“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
    1 Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 KJV

  33. Job was filled with sorrow that it plagued him and he cursed the day he was born. Because he thought there was no reason for him to be born if God was gonna do this to him.

  34. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came

Trouble came. It comes to us all and we may not like it but it came regardless. We reach to God daily, yet trouble finds a way and doesn’t care who we are. But we can take comfort in knowing Job’s story, that God let the hedges down around him as a test because he knew Job’s heart and was confident in him to endure this trial. If we can see past the trouble and see that God is confident in us when our troubles hit, we can see and know he will make a way through it all for us…and be with us as we endure till the end.

  35. Job 3:25-26 (NLT)
    25) What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true.
    26) I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.

Yes, we are all going to face some sort of tribulation (great trouble or suffering) in our lifetime, and we may feel that there is no peace or no rest to us.
BUT we must remember to keep our mind on JESUS and put our TRUST in HIM, “For even in the midst of our tribulation (trouble and suffering), we can have PEACE in JESUS.” We can experience HIS PEACE.

St. John 16:33 says, “These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have PEACE. In the world ye shall have tribulation (great trouble and suffering): but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

    Isaiah 26:3-4 says…
    3) Thou wilt keep him in PERFECT PEACE whose mind is stayed on thee: because he TRUSTETH in thee.
    4) TRUST ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting STRENGTH.

Thank You JESUS that YOU are the PRINCE OF PEACE and my STRENGTH!!

  36. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Many of us have fears, yet we are not called to live in fear. We are however called to WALK in THE LIGHT. The Light is Jesus. He is Love, and perfect love cast out all fear. We are to fear The Lord.

I knew a man who, one of his greatest fears was to loose his children, or to see them suffering. Another fear of his was to have a long drawn out death, with many years of severe health issues. He died in good shape, with a full release to return to work, of a heart attack leaving his wife and kids behind.

We don’t know what tomorrow brings, other than another day, if The Lord tarries. So, with Jesus in charge, let’s walk boldly, proclaiming His goodness to others, and watch as He uses us to reach this region.

  37. So the big question here that Job is asking is “what is the point of living if all this turmoil is going to take place?” We often hear people argue that if there truly is a God that exists then why would he allow terrible things to happen to good people. Job found favor in God, he feared him, he followed his ways, he was a righteous man and therefor God knew he could count on him when worse came to worse which is why he allowed the devil to put so much pressure on him. There is light at the end of the tunnel, it may rough, it may be rocky, it may be a little shaky but just know there is a point to what you’re going through and if you just hang on a little longer you’ll begin to see the big picture.

  38. Job 3:11-19
It is our wisdom and duty to make the best of that which is , be it living or dying; and so to live to the Lord, and die to the Lord, as in both to be his.

Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord: and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lords.

  39. iLove the Kingdom
🤦‍♂️Sorry guys, I haven’t really gone to bed since yesterday 😂 so I forgot to write another blog for today…

Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
I guess ole Job didn’t want a surprise 🥳 birthday party. Job went through severe issues that would have tested anyone of us to the core. We should not think it was too serious for him to curse the day of his birth.

  40. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.
25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

Sometimes it takes a whole lot to keep it together. I always say “Everyday is a good day. . . Some are more frustrating, but every day is a good day!” I truly believe that — The day is what you make it! But then sometimes we have to overly bad days and we loose it. Everything builds up, and builds up, and builds up until one day you’ve had enough and you say something you can’t take back. Lord, help us today to keep our wrong thoughts to ourselves and to spare our tongues.

  41. This ia one of the unanswerable questions that make trust in God and act of faith Why. God permits you or me to suffer is not a answer in this life

  42. 2 And Job spake, and said,

And this is where he messed up. This is where we mess up, when we open our mouths and speak. It’s not a good idea to read chapter 3 if you’re feeling down. Cuz you’ll be telling Job, “AMEN, brother Job, preach!”

Its so easy to relate to Job when everything isn’t going your way. Sometimes I feel God lets us go through these seasons, so we can understand those around us that are struggling with these kind of internal issues.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure (2513-katharos) in heart: for they shall see God.
Jesus says, Blessed are those that have a catheter (device to extract impurities to avoid infection) in there heart. When something like offense, gossip, trouble, anxiety, etc comes, it will side straight out.

Jesus help me keep a pure heart!

  43. 26 I have no peace, no quietness. I have no rest; only trouble comes.

This is how we all feel during times of trouble. We have no hope, we lose faith and feel helpless. But with God, we should never feel like this no matter what. We should give thanks and rejoice daily, and don’t allow our troubles to condemn God.

  44. 11 Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?

I cannot imagine the immense amount of pain Job may feeling at this moment. Life is filled with series of pain and joy. Job may be in the dumps right now and cursing the very day of his birth here, but his faithfulness will result in double blessing. Job has so many questions of why? Really wouldn’t we all want to know? The endurance that Job exhibits should be an example to us. Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

  45. 1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.

Jesus does not want us to curse but to bless, if we bless in the bad we can be blessed In the good. God is a blessings God and a holy God who wants us to prosper and be in good health. We need to bless and not curse for we will be blessed

  46. Job went through a lot. Even when we’re going through, God is still with us. It may seem like we’re all alone, but his spirit is ever present. When we allow God to speak to us, he will give us the direction we need when we get into trouble.

  47. “At last Job spoke, and he cursed the day of his birth.

“Let the day of my birth be erased, and the night I was conceived. Let that day be turned to darkness. Let it be lost even to God on high, and let no light shine on it. Let the darkness and utter gloom claim that day for its own. Let a black cloud overshadow it, and let the darkness terrify it. Let that night be blotted off the calendar, never again to be counted among the days of the year, never again to appear among the months.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭3:1, 3-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The days of mourning being now over, and no hopes appearing of Job’s amendment, but his afflictions rather increasing, he bursts into a severe lamentation; he wishes he had never existed, or that his death had immediately followed his birth; life under such a load of calamity appearing to him the greatest affliction. Undoubtedly Satan, who had been permitted to bring the fore-mentioned calamities upon him, and to torment his body so dreadfully, had also obtained liberty to assault his mind with various and powerful temptations. This he now does with the utmost violence, injecting hard thoughts of God, as being severe, unjust, and his enemy; that he might shake his confidence and hope, and produce that horror and dismay, which might issue in his cursing God.
Satan will use what ever it takes for us to go against God. But we must stand in faith and trust him God that no matter what… HE HAS OUR BACK!

  48. “Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul;“

When a person is living a life of misery it is so easy to lose their way. Yet God give us light in the middle of our misery that He May lead us. He has a path for us and He will light the way.

On our was life with also sometimes bring bitter movement and in those moments He gives us life. Light and Life is all in Him we just have to be willing to submit to Him.

  49. 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came.

Fear has torment. It is lack if trust, by definition an emotion caused by the “belief” that someone or something is dangerous or likely to cause pain or threat. Ironically, its belief on the evil. Why is it so much easier to believe the bad stuff than believe it have faith for the Good? It all depends on your relationship with Him. His word says that he did not give us the spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind. For that one attack we have 3 counter attacks! Power, Love and Sound mind and it all comes by His Spirit. The only way to overcome this torment, this fear is by His perfect Love being poured out in us, His Holy Spirit.

  50. “After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.”
    ‭‭JOB‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Ever been so frustrated with the trials life has brought that you curse the day of your birth?

Job has. And honestly, so have I.

Thankfully, WE ALL now have direct access to Jesus and can pray for guidance and peace. I remember a season I was in a while back, I was going through some rough things and the only thing that helped me from COMPLETELY LOSING my mind was the word of God.

As long as you’re human, you will always have hardships. The only way to get through them is through prayer and consistently feeding your spirit His word.

Remember, nothing is too hard for God! With Him, we can overcome ANYTHING!

  51. “I am not at ease, nor am I quiet, And I am not at rest, and yet trouble still comes [upon me].””
    ‭‭JOB‬ ‭3:26‬ ‭AMP‬‬
There is a place of refuge. There is a place of refresh and that place is found in His Word. It will revive your weary soul.

“My earthly life clings to the dust; Revive and refresh me according to Your word.”
    ‭‭PSALMS‬ ‭119:25‬ ‭AMP‬‬
