Job 5

Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?

For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.

I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.

His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them.

Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.

Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;

Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:

11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.

12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

14 They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.

15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.

16 So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.

17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.

19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.

21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.

22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

23 For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.

24 And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.

25 Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.

26 Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in in his season.

27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.

  1. Verses 8-9 MSG “If I were in your shoes, I’d go straight to God, I’d throw myself on the mercy of God. After all, he’s famous for great and unexpected acts; there’s no end to his surprises.” Same verses CEV “Job, if I were you, I would ask God for help. His miracles are marvelous, more than we can count.” It is an awesome understanding, when we know who to call upon.

Verses 17-19 MSG “So, what a blessing when God steps in and corrects you! Mind you, don’t despise the discipline of Almighty God! True, he wounds, but he also dresses the wound; the same hand that hurts you, heals you. From one disaster after another he delivers you; no matter what the calamity, the evil can’t touch you—.” Same verses CEV “Consider yourself fortunate if God All-Powerful chooses to correct you. He may cause injury and pain, but he will bandage and heal your cuts and bruises. God will protect you from harm, no matter how often trouble may strike.” Embrace whatever you are in and know that God has something very special for you.

  2. FIRST THE KINGDOM
SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD

8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

Where do we turn FIRST in times of trouble? Who do we go to FIRST in times of trouble? Who do we blame FIRST in times of trouble? Who do we submit our hopes and future to FIRST in times of trouble?

If JESUS in not the answer to each of these questions, then it is most likely that we are not seeking FIRST The Kingdom of GOD. The advice and instructions given here are TRUTH. The motive may be questionable as to why the advice is given, but the counsel is solid.

    The benefits are greater!

    Seek GOD FIRST!

    JESUS does GREAT Things!
JESUS is unsearchable! (No one can stop HIM)
    JESUS does MARVELOUS Things!
    JESUS does MULTIPLE Things!

The BENEFITS of seeking FIRST the Kingdom of GOD are far greater than the benefits of any other source of help or assistance. Family, friends, government, foundations; they all have their benefits but none can offer and deliver on the level of JESUS!

  3. 8. I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

    9. Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

    Where do I go
    When the storms of life
    Are threatening?
    Who do I turn to
When those winds of sorrow blow?
    And is there a refuge
    In the time of tribulation?

    I go to the rock
    I know He’s able
    I go to the rock

I go to the rock of my salvation
    I go to the stone
    That the builders rejected
    I run to the mountain
And the mountain stands by me

    When the Earth all around
    Is sinking sand
On Christ, the solid rock I stand
    When I need a shelter,
    When I need a friend,
    I go to the rock

  4. “But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin. For though he wounds, he also bandages. He strikes, but his hands also heal.
    Job 5:17-18 NLT

Here again are some powerful truths but based on the accusation that Job is suffering the discipline of God because he sinned. Yet, because we know the behind the scenes story that Job is suffering because he was righteous!
However, God does correct those He loves. He is able to bind up our wounds both physical and emotional problems. There is nothing too hard for the Lord. He is also our Deliverer! He can deliver us from any situation and give us peace!
From six disasters he will rescue you; even in the seventh, he will keep you from evil. He will save you from death in time of famine, from the power of the sword in time of war. You will be safe from slander and have no fear when destruction comes. You will laugh at destruction and famine; wild animals will not terrify you. You will be at peace with the stones of the field, and its wild animals will be at peace with you. You will know that your home is safe. When you survey your possessions, nothing will be missing.
    Job 5:19‭-‬24 NLT

  5. Is there one thing I dislike is being accused of something I didn’t do!!!! Here Job it’s being accused of being a sinner. In his friends mind he had to had done something horrible to be punished in such way. They came to cheer him up, to lift up his spirits but I think in the middle of it all they forgot! The comfort they were supposed to give is minimal, and finished blaming him again. Job has lost all he loved that’s what hurts the most because material things come and go but tomlose one’s children hurts the most! Going through sickness is tolerable but the pain of not seeing our sweet child has no end. The hope that we have is the resurrection, and we live in great expectations waiting for His return.

  6. Job 5-8-9 [Amp] As, for me I would seek God and inquire of and require Him and to His would I commit my cause. [9] Who does great things and unsearchable, marvelous things without number. I agree with my pastor, Seek the Seek the Kingdom First and you And other things in your life will fall in place. He is our provider, protecter and Deliever.and miracle worker. We all have needs in our life Jesus does great things ! The more that you seek him and you shall find him. Make a joyful noise to the Lord. We need him..

  7. 7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

In this day in age with technology everybody is a critic and seems to have the best advice for other people. It may seem like it’s great intellect but it’s really just a shallow general word that people use to sound wise or more Superior over other people. We need to be careful who we let speak into our life despite their intentions or how flattery their words may seem. We need to look for if it lines up with the word of God and if it edifies us as a whole. It’s not about the word being able to build us up or tear us down but it is whether it is biblically applicable and constructive

  8. 6 Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

Not everyone gets to be like Job, tested because of his faithfulness. Most of us bring troubles upon ourselves, and then pray for help. Even when we are told by Jesus what to do, we seek a second opinion.

Remember obedience is better than sacrifice. Although man in born into sin, and shapen into iniquity, we do have the choice, as to how we respond to the tests that come at us, instead of grabbing a pile and throwing it into the fan that is blowing in our faces.

Remember attitudes count too. if we pass a test, but do so with the wrong attitude, we didn’t pass, and will most likely see that test again.

  9. 1 Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?

The church is responsible to reach out for the souls of the lost and many have stated that the church is not able to do what it has done in the past. We have to make sure our mind frame is to reach all that we can. We have to reach out and assure those we are reaching that the church is a place of compassion and love. That there is refuge in the house of God and that it’s a place that they can bring there burdens and lay them on the altar. We have to allow them a way to trust us and learn through us how a dependency on God is important to live a fruitful and blessed life.

Seeking first the kingdom will assure them and the church that God will hear our cries and he will bless them that seek his face.

    2 chronicles 7:14
14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

    I live the kingdom!

  10. 6 Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;
7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

Born into sin, and shapen into iniquity, we must keep the right attitudes as we strive to pass the tests that come our way, or we will most likely see them again.

  11. “So, what a blessing when God steps in and corrects you! Mind you, don’t despise the discipline of Almighty God! True, he wounds, but he also dresses the wound; the same hand that hurts you, heals you. From one disaster after another he delivers you; no matter what the calamity, the evil can’t touch you—
    Job 5:17‭-‬19 MSG
    https://bible.com/bible/97/job.5.17-19.MSG

When I have to correct my children I have one child who likes to get mad at me because of the discipline she received. I have to stop her “No ma’am, I love you so I had to correct you. You can’t get mad at me for something you did.” Then a hug or prayer is in order.

God is the same way. He corrects us but never without the loving hand to follow. He wounds, but He dresses.

  12. Eliphaz is telling job that he will be In peace with everything that has attacked him and the worse will happen to the foolish man and the silly man.

  13. 8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

The all seeing eye of the Lord who has the very hair of our head numbered, I believe knew that Job was going to fall to complaining about the situation, and yet he allowed him to question what was happening, without answering.

God owes us no explanation. He is God, He created us, formed us in His image, and at any time can terminate our life. Will everything always be easy? No. There will be difficult times, tests and temptations. Without such things, we would not formed and shaped in character.

Job’s friend is telling him what he would do if he were in his situation. It’s easy for us to say what we would do if in a particular situation, but when it comes down to it, only God knows what we really would do.

  14. Job 5:2-10 For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one. Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword. At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth. For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin. Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.

  15. 17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.

Just as a father corrects his child out of love; so does God correct those whom He loves.

He doesn’t seek to leave us hurting or broken, but He corrects to get us to the path that leads to Him. And just as He corrects out of love, He heals us out of love .

“My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  16. 19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

So we not serve an awesome God? Is He not faithful to save us? Who are we to think that God owes us anything? I serve Him, because he saved my soul from being damned to Hell. I seek after His Kingdom first ,because it is an honor and privilage to do so. We could live in a country that murders Christians because they read the Bible. But thanks be to God that we live in a nation that is still allow us to read the Word of God without hesitations.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God
    How is your altar

  17. He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

14 They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.

15 But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.

16 So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.

  18. Job 5

Broken down ….help us to build up.

    1 Thessalonians 5:11
    Verse Concepts
Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.

  19. 17 “Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

How much easier “said than done” this is. We all desire to love the opportunity to better ourselves, and to grow into the men and women of God that we have been called to be.

Yet, I’m learning the older I get it still doesn’t get any easier to take discipline. It’s still a choice to fight our own thoughts and will, to submit to those in authority over us.

Although, how much smoother it is to accept correction and grow from it with the power of the Holy Ghost and the Love of Jesus Christ guiding and directing us.

Relationship with Christ through the discipline and correction will not only ensure we get to where we need to be, but it will smooth the correction all together!

  20. 7 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:
“happy is the man whom God correcteth:” We should be happy when we are corrected. When Pastor calls us out or guides us away from what we are doing, we should be happy. Because he loves us, he cares.

18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
God mends is when we are broken and bandages us up when we are sick.

19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
I can attest with firsthand experience that, “In famine he shall redeem thee from death:” a few years back we both lost our jobs and were out of work for 6 months, when the economy crashed. We were living off of our life savings and 401k for a while and then when that was gone and there was nothing left. We made it. We never were out on the street, we never went hungry, He took care of us in our famine. He is great and mighty and will always take care of His children.

  21. “Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭5:17-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It is not fun to go through trials. The thing that his friend is saying is that if God is correcting you, he can also bring you out. God can restore. God can heal. God can exceed Andy expectation that we we many have as to his provisions and protection for us.

  22. “But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin.
    Job 5:17‭ NLT

“Behold, how happy and fortunate is the man whom God reproves, So do not despise or reject the discipline of the Almighty [subjecting you to trial and suffering].
    JOB 5:17 AMP

And you have forgotten the divine word of encouragement which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, do not make light of the discipline of the Lord, And do not lose heart and give up when you are corrected by Him ; For the Lord disciplines and corrects those whom He loves, And He punishes every son whom He receives and welcomes [to His heart].” You must submit to [correction for the purpose of] discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? Now if you are exempt from correction and without discipline, in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate children and not sons [at all]. For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems sad and painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness [right standing with God and a lifestyle and attitude that seeks conformity to God’s will and purpose].
    HEBREWS 12:5‭-‬8‭, ‬11‭ AMP

    My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
    James 1:2 KJV

We think joy is dependent upon our circumstances, but this is not true. Joy is dependent on our attitude and viewpoint, on how we see things and what we choose to be grateful for.

We can choose to believe the above verses and be grateful for suffering (because it proves that God loves us, considers us His children, and is working to build character and righteousness in our lives). Or, we can believe the lies of the devil (who tells us that suffering proves God has abandoned us) and get bitter. The circumstances are the same either way, but the resulting joy or bitterness is up to us.

It is the joy of a child to be trained and disciplined by loving parents. A parent who doesn’t care enough to correct, doesn’t love enough to protect. However, since God is love, we should expect and appreciate His discipline.

The same sun that melts the butter, hardens the clay. If we don’t learn to respond to the trials of this life with gratitude and joy, then our hearts will become hardened, like that dried-out clay. However, if we receive with joy those things that don’t look like love but really are, we can keep our hearts soft and draw ever closer to our loving Father.

  23. 7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

10 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:

11 To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.

12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth:
therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

When we submit ourselves to God, He will always provide a way of escape from our
adversaries. But He also will chastise us when we need correction.

May the fire on my altar never burn out … Day and night,,night and day!

  24. “Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal.
    Job 5:17‭-‬18 NIV

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.

    Revelation 3:19 NIV

  26. 5:27 Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; hear it, and know thou it for thy good.
    —— … and thou know it….
You , you search for the scriptures
    You read
    You seek
    You wait for the revelation
Yes it’s good to go to Pastor for advice, but FIRST step is for you, me seek the Lord, talk to him about it then ask and wait for a confirmation.

  27. I came to this blog page today with two other verses in mind but I couldn’t stand clear of the unction of the Holy Ghost knocking at the doorway to my heart. As I was finishing up Job Chapter 5 I find myself be pricked about listening to counsel and making it applicable in our everyday lives.

Often times more so now than ever, we hear many great words from the Lord. We hear many words of advice, encouragement, words of counsel to apply to our everyday lives. But it’s in one ear and out the other or it’s in one ear and just stays in that ear it doesn’t get any further. Today if we could take the counsel that’s given to us for free and apply it in our lives, in our ministries, in our homes….we wouldn’t run into nearly as much chaos. Let’s receive and apply counsel in our lives!

““We have studied life and found all this to be true. Listen to my counsel, and apply it to yourself.””
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭5:27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  28. 27 We have studied life and found all this to be true. Listen to my counsel, and apply it to yourself. ‭(NLT‬‬)

We all have life experiences that we have learned from, whether it was the hard way or the easy way. We can learn from each other, especially our elders and our leaders. Heed their words and obey their counsel.

  29. “Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When God corrects you can be assured that He loves them. He sees value in that person and wants to bring out the best in them.

“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭1:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said, “My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline, and don’t give up when he corrects you. For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.” As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn’t we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever? For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God’s discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:5-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  30. iLove the Kingdom
““If I were you, I would go to God and present my case to him.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If you could imagine for a moment… these folks are giving Job some advise and are assuming he needs to go to prayer and then God will deliver him. How many times do we tell people the same thing. “Well if I were you I would do such and such and yeah, you need to just pray about it…”

Conclusion: we really need to be cautious when we give people advice because assuming we know what they need could be totally wrong. Always send information through the pastor and pray for him to make good decisions.

  31. 18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.
19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.
20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.
Just simply call on his name and he will deliver you. Those that are his children can simply look up to Zion, and find rest. from war. from famine, from a time of trouble… he will provide a way out just call on him. Jesus

“I call your name Lord you reply
    You bring your kingdom
    To stand by my side
Giver of life All that I need
Father your everything that is precious to me
There is no one like you Lord in all the earth”

  32. 6 Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;

7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
Job understood that there was a deeper meaning to his affiction . It was from this foundation he held firm unto his faith, which is an admonishment to us in keeping our faith.

  33. 1“Cry for help, but will anyone answer you?
Which of the angelsa will help you?

Who will hear your prayers? Your cries for help? Your friends, relatives or coworkers will listen your concerns but will they help. Some may but most won’t. But God will hear, listen and will help.

  34. 17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.

19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

Hebrews 12:5-11 King James Version (KJV)
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

God is my Father, if he didnt love me he wouldnt correct me. But do I love him enough to accept his correction, and learn and grow from it? It all comes down to Nora because God always does his part!

    FIRST THE KINGDOM

  35. Job 5:1 (NLT)
“Cry for help, but will anyone answer you? Which of the angels will help you?”

Question – Cry for help, but will anyone answer you?
Answer – Yes, and His name is JESUS.
JESUS is the one we can “Cry out to” and “Call upon” when we need help or are in trouble, and He will hear us and help us.

Psalms 18:6, “In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.”
Psalms 34:6, “This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Psalms 34:17, “The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
Psalms 50:15, “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee…”
Psalms 91:15, “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him,…”
Psalms 120:1, “IN my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

  36. 7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

  37. 17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

To correct a child will teach them to grow upon the right path. To allow a child to go without discipline with spoil them. The same is for us, it doesn’t matter what upbringing we come from we still need correction. We cannot t despise his chastening because it is what will make us stronger.

  38. God blesses the faithful
Job 5:25-27 Thou shalt know also that thy seed (descendants) shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth. Thou shalt come to thy grave in a full age, like as a shock of corn cometh in his season. Lo this, we have searched it, so it is; heart it, and know thou it for thy good.

Psalm 112:2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Proverbs 9:11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
Psalm 111:2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

  39. 17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.

Why do parents correct their children? The children may not understand its a force of moving away from the wrong path to the right. If mistakes weren’t corrected then we would end up with total chaos and devastation. Total destruction. But Gif loves that cannot allow that we destroy ourselves so he corrects us. No one likes, the flesh doesn’t like it but later our soul will appreciate it. Happy perhaps not while is going on but the latter rudely will be happy.

  40. ”Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:”

Correction should be a moment if happiness. He could have allowed us to die in our sins but He loved us enough to correct us.

  41. The Lord is always with his children and when they seek him, and put their trust In him, He will be their counsel. “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” (Matthew‬ ‭22:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

  42. “Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If you’re acting a fool and God hasn’t attempted to correct you, you better do a check-up from the neck up and get yourself straightened out because if God is letting you be then you have more trouble and more hard times headed your way because of your stubbornness.

  43. I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
    Job 5:8‭-‬10 KJV

God is so awesome; people just don’t realize how peaceful their lives would be with God in their life. He is the creator and my counselor. Jesus I thank you for being who are and never changing.

  44. 7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
8 I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

In trouble, we plead our case to God who is our help. He can shed his light on it and reveal our mistakes, sins, or plight and is the one who will turn things around and straighten it or us out.
