Job 18

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?

He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?

Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.

10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.

12 His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.

13 It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.

14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

15 It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.

16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

19 He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.

20 They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.

21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

  2. 2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.
3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?

Brother Morgan was just speaking last night about wisdom. The book of Proverbs covers the issue of dealing with fools who refuse to listen to you. Sometimes it’s better to be quiet becausewhen someone has it stuck in their head about something and they refuse to let it go it does not matter what evidence is provided or the lack thereof they are not just going to listen. Sometimes it’s just best to be silent rather than argue

  3. 7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

9 The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.

10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.
    Job18:7-11

God gives us the strength and wisdom to overcome all. All we need is faith in God and believe he can give us the wisdom to overcome our obstacles.

  4. 18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

Without Jesus a person is living in darkness.

  5. 5. Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

    6. The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

Since this is true for the wicked, the opposite should be true for the righteous…

    ‭‭Job‬ ‭18:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    Keep the light on!

It’s our job to keep the light on and lead others out of darkness. All around us there are people looking and searching for an answer of curiosity. So many people are need of people that will allow God to use them.
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
It’s our job to be the light that guides their feet.
Let’s turn the brightness up on the lantern folks and get it going.

  8. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    ETERNAL LIGHT

5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

For the Christian believer, eternity is our goal and prize. We learn from this scripture that whatever tainted light that the wicked may experience will be put out. it may appear at times that the wicked prosper as we suffer, but we are wise to remember this eternal absolute.

The light of the wicked shall be put out and his spark will not shine.

March on Christian soldier, live for GOD, do the right thing, let the Light of JESUS shine through you and HIS Light will overshadow the light of the wicked.

2Thessalonians 3:13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

  9. Be careful what comes out of your mouth when your brother is going through a battle!!! You can go through life with a holier than thou mentality and you can’t get to heaven that way either.

Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

1 Cor 8:9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

We may consider ourselves Saints but you can turn into an accuser with a slip of the tongue. Let the LOVE OF CHRIST be in you and treat others with that love, guide them with the truth in LOVE, so they become hungry for Christ!!!! We don’t have the qualifications to be judges for we aren’t perfect, even Paul said “I die daily”. We fall and we get up. Hold out a loving hand to your brother/sister in need not a sharp double side sword of the tongue! JESUS IS LOVE!!!! GIVE LOVE. Giving love is not giving approval of their sin but to love them regardless of it!

  10. 21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3

The wicked have no hope because the Word of God has already been established before the foundation of the Earth. Jesus came, died, and prepared a place for the righteous and the wicked will have their part in the lake of fire. There is no ”Prepared Place” with Him for the wicked. I want to prepare and be ready for when the bridegroom comes I’m with Him. 😉

  11. “The lamp of a wicked man is snuffed out; the flame of his fire stops burning. The light in his tent becomes dark; the lamp beside him goes out.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭18:5-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“…the lamp beside him goes out.” To me this means that the lamps of those that choose to socialize and hang out with the wicked man will also go out. Remember when hanging out with those that do not believe the same as you, you will either influence them or they will influence you and if you’re not strong enough in your own walk with God then the latter will probably take place.

  12. Job 18:5-10 MSG
The lamp of a wicked man is snuffed out; the flame of his fire stops burning. The light in his tent becomes dark ; the lamp beside him goes out. The vigor of his step is weakened; his own schemes throw him down. His feet thrust him into a net; he wanders into its mesh. A trap seizes him by the heel; a snare holds him fast. A noose is hidden for him on the ground; a trap lies in his path.

The rest of Bildad’s discourse is entirely taken up in an elegant description of the miserable condition of a wicked man, In which there is a great deal of a certain truth, and which will be of excellent use if duly considered— that a sinful condition is a sad condition, and iniquity will be men’s ruin if they do not repent of it.

Proverbs 13:9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

Proverbs 24:20 For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

  13. 21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

This is the world that we are living in. We have to be the church that is the light in this dark world. We have to be the voice to this dying souls that are consumed by the iniquity and turmoil. We have to be the church that seeks the kingdom first and then follows the voice of God. I find that will open the opportunities for us to have a great harvest.

  14. 5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

Our Pastor does everything he can to make sure we are not fall into the category of the wicked. He always pushes us to never let the spark of our fire go out and not shine. May the fire on my altar never go out. Day and night, night and day. When you have a church family helping and a Pastor always trying to protect you, what excuse do we have??

7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

Only our own steps would push us out or away by our own counsel. When you decide that you don’t need Pastor’s guidance and you don’t need the church family’s support, that is when we are cast down. When we feel we can do things on our own without the love and support of others. In our own counsel is where we struggle to keep our walk with God.

  15. 17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the Lord shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace. They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the Lord.
Thus saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land. And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The Lord liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people. But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the Lord.
    Jeremiah 12:12-17 KJV

It’s hard to sit by and watch those that continually go against the Word of. God. But if we will put our blinders on and run the race which God has called us to do, He WILL according to HIS WORD will separate and remove the tares.

“Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 13:36-43 KJV

“May the fire on my altar never burn out!”

  16. Job 18 Message

Their flame dies down and is extinguished.
    Their house goes dark—
every lamp in the place goes out.
    Their strong strides weaken, falter;
they stumble into their own traps.
    They get all tangled up
    in their own red tape,
Their feet are grabbed and caught,
    their necks in a noose.
They trip on ropes they’ve hidden,
and fall into pits they’ve dug themselves.
Terrors come at them from all sides.
    They run helter-skelter

    Their flame dies down
    First mistake
There is no light left . As I read this passage I can see someone groping in the darkness for matches to relight their candle. They’ve even ran out of matches to light the candle there’s no light anywhere left for them. How sadly they stumble in their own traps . The things that needed to be removed destroyed now they are again tangled up in them. Grasping groping for satisfying self gratification from relationships to relationships from one dependency to another to finally life has become helter skeltor . We may point fingers at everyone else when in reality God is wanting us to take a closer look at our own self. We have the greatest privilege given to me through truth of God’s Word. I can’t misplace my matches ( Praise Word Worship Love Faith the list is endless) if I allow animosity envy bitterness etc to snuff out my flame destroy every match available! I’m as lost as the worse sinner ever good be. I must take a closer look into self my self….I must keep fresh matches fresh sacrifices available if we the Church allow our flames light to go out how can we help anyone. We can’t . We can hide for so long . We can’t allow anything anyone to trip us up. God is our strength we must use what He has given us we have all the elements needed to keep light in our life . Attitude Against the Enemy not against one another. Resisting the fiery darts of the adversary. Sometimes the darts are blankets of water trying to quench the fire burning within us oh but how wonderful God is Fire All By Himself Lord Set Me Afire for Your Kingdom!

    In Jesus name.
Philippians 3:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

  17. 21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

It seems that the opportunity to sin is around every corner. Thank you Jesus, that we are saved by you. Sin is a choice. You have to choose to do it. As I was reading this, my thoughts go back to what Bro. Michael Morgan preached to us last night about wisdom. In how when we have wisdom from on high, we cant use the excuse, the devil made me do it. No, because you had a choice to make.

To my younger friends, this is why it is so important for us to seek after God’s Kingdom first. Because when we do it helps us make the right decisions in life. I promise you it does. The problem in our culture is people would rather make a new sub category of sexuality or a new vine, or a new challenge. I pray you dont fall into the hole that the enemy has placed. There are new challenges in life each day, but if you will just hold on and trust God. I promise He will see you through it and help you. Seek you first the Kingdom of God.

  18. iLove the Kingdom
Job 18:16  His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

Wow Job’s friends were giving him the beat down. Just in this verse alone, they are hinting at the fact that Job is cut off from the body. John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

What the friend is really saying is that Job had been cut off and now he is about to be burned. You know, we might better let God do the pruning and stop trying to help God cut folks off.

  19. 5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

There may be times where my light may be barley shining to me. i need to know that i must ask god for wisdom and really want it to make my light shine brighter than before. Whether it be god testing my faith or satan trying to pry me from god i just want my light to keep shining brighter as god fuels my shine.

  20. How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?

4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?

5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

  21. How long will it take me to talk In tongues when I go to the platform? It does not take very long once you get the power of the Holy Ghost with you you will start speaking into tongues.
Jesus had anger but he got through it and shall earth be forsaken for the rock removed
Yes Jesus Light shall not be put out and the fire shall always be lit

  22. The light rises.

We have to keep the light burning. What is a man if he stands for nothing. We stand for truth. Stand for the gospel. If your light does then surely you will stand for nothing. I don’t want to stand for nothing. Jesus let the gospel convict my heart so much that I long to tell somebody about it.

  23. MSG – How monotonous these word games are getting!
Get serious! We need to get down to business.
Why do you treat your friends like slow-witted animals?
You look down on us as if we don’t know anything.
Why are you working yourself up like this?
Do you want the world redesigned to suit you?
Should reality be suspended to accommodate you?

The world is full of self righteous people (and there are even some in the church) who feel like God owes them, everyone owes them and the entire world revolves around them. What a mind set. Everything in life is done to suit their needs.

As children of God we must keep our mind clear and pure of such thoughts. It should all be about the Kingdom. I know it’s challenging when things don’t go as we plan them out, or even as we feel the plan God has given us don’t work out like we had in our mind, but our attitude in life is very important. If we took the negative spin on everything in life, we would be most miserable, just as Job is displaying at the moment. This sends mixed messages to the people around us. Who would want to live a life for the Lord, if this negativity is our life?

Regeneration of our mind on a daily basis should keep our minds clear of negativity and focused on God.

    Titus 3:5
    Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

If we keep the flame of His Spirit hot in our lives, our minds will be pure and we will avoid such negative attitudes.

  24. 5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

Our light should always be shining!! And if it’s not, then there must be a reason *raise eyebrow*. Stay filled with the Holy Ghost and let your light burn bright!

  25. 21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

One thing is to say that we go to church and another completely different thing is to be the church!!! To say we know GOD and not walk in HIS statutes is obvious to the people that we are not saying the truth. To know GOD is to be able to bless those that curse us and have done us harm……..I know my DADDY HALELUJAH!!! What a privilege

  26. 5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

I see a problem here with his argument that Bildad. He is saying the light of the wicked will be put out like they have a light. But if they are wicked, would they have a light? Jesus says that his followers are the light of the world, the enemy or the wicked one is the darkness.

But that is how the enemy works, he leads us to believe there is some “light” in being ungodly. That you dont have to live a godly life all the time. You dont have to be so radical. You dont have to worry about if it’s a sin or not, you’re just having a little fun.

Dont let the enemy let you believe there is light or goodness outside of believing in Jesus, that’s the first step in going into backsliding.

  27. The confident stride of the wicked will be shortened. Their own schemes will be their downfall.
    Job 18:7 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.18.7.NLT

Let the wicked fall into their own nets, but let me escape.
    Psalms 141:10

Sooner or later the schemes of the enemy unravel, usually exposing them or catching them in their own traps. Jesus is the LIGHT, not only to show us the way, but to also reveal what is done in the darkness. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

  28. Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.
    Job 18:21 KJV
There’s only one problem with Bildads entire response to Job, he is speaking to him as if he is wicked and doesn’t know God. Neither of these applied to Job. God described Job as one who was in good and right standing with Him:
And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
    Job 1:8 KJV

  29. His roots below dry up, and his branches above wither away.
    Job 18:16 HCSB

Bildad is describing a wicked man, but this verse better describes a backslider to me. The backsider was once a fruitful tree planted by the rivers of living water, but little by little he moved away from those waters. He stopped praying. He stopped reading the Word. He stopped going to church and living a holy life; and as he moved, his roots began to dry up.

For a while, he maintained a semblance of fruit and greenery, but eventually everything above ground began to wither as well. No new fruit appeared. The leaves fell off. The branches dried out until the tree seemed dead.

    All is not lost, however:
“For there is hope of a tree…that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground; Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.”
    Job 14:7‭-‬9

Thankfully, God is faithful even when we are not. If the backsider will turn again toward the water, he can be revivPed. He can produce buds and blossoms and, finally, new fruit. Life can be restored and growth can once again be experienced—IF he moves back to the water.

We have a river that never runs dry, but it is our responsibility to stay planted close enough to that river to allow our roots to drink from it. Our roots are those devotional things which we do to stay close to God: prayer, fasting, Bible reading and study, submission and obedience, church attendance, and fellowshipping other believers.

If we keep the roots strong, the branches will be strong also. Therefore, if our fruit is waning, the problem is most lively in our roots. We need to return to the water and let revival take place.

  30. 21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

Misery describes the place where the wicked will be without God. But we strive to enter into God’s rest, through that strait gate. With God for us, we can avoid the misery outlined here.

  31. 6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

  32. Bildad answered and said that Job was in the place of the wicked and this is where that he does not know God.

  33. He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place? Job 18:4: If we tear ourselves in anger we will tear our alter and God will not like that and the everlasting father will take up people who have been good to him.

  34. Job 18:5, “Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.”

    Psalms 139:23-24 says…
    23) Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
    24) And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

I pray the Fire On My Altar Never Burns Out!

  35. 4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?

We all have one thing in common yet that varies so rapidly from one person to the next; emotions. Some have better control than others, and some like to pretend they have no emotions. Yet we all have them.

When we choose to live our “Life First and Kingdom second”, we have the delusion that when we’re upset the whole world should know about it and getting vengeance becomes a priority. Then all rational thinking becomes non-existent.

The word says we should anger and sin not. There are going to be times even when living First the Kingdom, we are going to become upset. And it’s how we handle the anger that demonstrates who we truly have first in our lives.

Instead of choosing to tear one’s self, rather give it back to our Heavenly Father. Allow Him to be your comfort. Choosing to Seek First The Kingdom through it all; our actions and emotions.

  36. ““Indeed, the light of the wicked will be put out, And the flame of his fire will not shine.”
    ‭‭JOB‬ ‭18:5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Live righteously and your light will continue to shine. Turn to sin and live in wickedness and it will burn out.

“The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine”

  37. 18:14 His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.
    ——-
Part of this chapter it really shows us the real true picture of the wicked man…. the rebellion proud that trusted in him only and does not acknowledge God’s authority .and sovereignty.
It’s not fun, it’s not fun at all. Yes, on the outside it looks like they are winning, but on the inside there is no peace,no peace.never will….

  38. ““Terrors surround the wicked and trouble them at every step. Hunger depletes their strength, and calamity waits for them to stumble. Disease eats their skin; death devours their limbs. They are torn from the security of their homes and are brought down to the king of terrors. The homes of the wicked will burn down; burning sulfur rains on their houses. Their roots will dry up, and their branches will wither.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭18:11-16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  39. 17 All memory of their existence will fade from the earth; no one will remember their names. 18 They will be thrust from light into darkness, driven from the world.

True statement, people will forget the unrighteous. People have nothing to say about an unrighteous person. But if you lived a righteous life, and obedient life, and had a blessed life, people will remember you. Your name will continue to be spoken after you pass. Everyone will know you lived a great life, and will mention your name without hesitation.

  40. 16 His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

  41. 5. yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out l, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
    6. the light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

  42. 10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

11 Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.

We must always be spiritual observant of the path that we walk everyday because the enemy will always try his best to snare you with fear, temptations, and etc. we should always battle fear with the wisdom of know that God is on our side and shouldn’t worry.

  43. Then Bildad the Shuhite replied: “How long before you stop talking? Speak sense if you want us to answer! “Surely the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. The sparks of their fire will not glow.
    Job 18:1‭-‬2‭, ‬5 NLT

We see here Bildad going off talking about the wicked. He describes all that happens to such. However, how does he know that Job was wicked? Are we also too quick to judge the people? I asked myself. We truly don’t know like God would know. How do you know a person? The Word tells us by their fruits we shall know them. Ok but do we judge the immediate outcome of catastrophic actions or do we see throughout someone’s life what walk they have been having? Faithfulness is a proof to many. What do people constantly say about someone? At all times we should apply wisdom and not be so quick to judge a person’s situation.

  44. ““Surely the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. The sparks of their fire will not glow. The light in their tent will grow dark. The lamp hanging above them will be quenched.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭18:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
God is light and we are children of light. We must be producers of light. Strange fire will be snuffed out. Those who offer up strange fire will it will not glow. God does not honor strange fire. Do not bring things to God that will be rejected or allow those who produce strange fire entice you into following them. Use the discernment that the Holy Ghost gives you to see the truth and not fooled by a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Guard yourself.

  45. In this chapter what I got out of this is what our personalities are when we have an off day. When we have an off day we usually don’t act like we normally do, but that does not give us the right to walk around grumpy all day! We just have to put a smile on our face because God creates us to tell his people about his amazing word!! PUT A SMILE ON YOIR FACE POFW!!!😁😁😁

  46. Job 18

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

    Do not reject God 😄😄😄😄

  47. Job 18

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

    Do not reject God 😄😄😄😄

  48. Good friends are not always easy to find. Someone who will be there for you and know how to get a prayer through for you. Someone who is not afraid to take on the enemy and shout the name of Jesus. Good friends don’t mind binding together and tearing down strong holds.

  49. 7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.
8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

    Sowing and Reaping

My dad used to tell be to be careful, that I hadn’t lived my life yet. Many times we make rash judgments, and later find ourselves in the same or similar situations. We speak these things into existence with our words. We have the option as to what we want to say.

    I AM BLESSED

  50. “Surely the light of the wicked will be snuffed out.
The sparks of their fire will not glow.
    6
The light in their tent will grow dark.
The lamp hanging above them will be quenched.

The fire on my alter shall never burn out!!! We must be the light of this world, the change, the hope, the shining light that Jesus has given us to share with other. We cant let our fire get dimmed but always be shinning bright. It been awesome to see how when you change the batteries on our candles its like a spark when you renew the battery. This is what I imagine with the HG, when we renew ourselves daily its a new spark that we are shinning bright in front of this world. Letting everyone know what we are the light of this world and that Jesus is alive!!!

  51. Verses 5-6 CEV “The lamps of sinful people soon are snuffed out, leaving their tents dark.” Same verses AMP “Indeed, the light of the wicked will be put out, And the flame of his fire will not shine. “The light will be dark in his tent, And his lamp beside him will be put out.” Let the light/fire at your altar never burn out! Let the Lord be your light that guides your path.

  52. Job 18:5-13 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way. Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet. His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side. It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength. He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

    Revelation 20:2
“And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

    Revelation 20:3
“And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season

  53. 18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
19 He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.
20 They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.
21 Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

I am thankful that my parents taught me at a young age what a friend should be and if they speak I’ll about you that they are not a real friend.

I only experience a fake friend once, but there are many youth today that have many fake friends, that dont understand what a real friend is. How they are to uplift and not break down.

I believe that God not only allowed these situations to go to Job to show the devil but to also show job that his friends are not who they say they are.

  54. 5 “Here’s the rule: The light of the wicked is put out. Their flame dies down and is extinguished.

Make sure your light is burning for the right flame! Everyone has a passion but the lost burn for the world and our light needs to reflect and shine for him! One day this world will die away but his light, our light, will shine for him and always be burning bright!

  55. “Then Bildad the Shuhite replied: “How long before you stop talking? Speak sense if you want us to answer! Do you think we are mere animals? Do you think we are stupid? You may tear out your hair in anger, but will that destroy the earth? Will it make the rocks tremble?”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭18:1-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Bildad had before given Job good advice and encouragement; here he used nothing but rebukes, and declared his ruin. And he concluded that Job shut out the providence of God from the management of human affairs, because he would not admit himself to be wicked.
