Job 32

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.

11 Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

13 Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

14 Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

16 When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

17 I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

19 Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

  1. “I won’t play favorites or try to flatter anyone. For if I tried flattery, my Creator would soon destroy me.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭32:21-22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Even though Elihu’s outburst is towards job he makes a good statement here at the end. “I won’t play favorites or try to flatter anyone.”
When it comes to the word of God we can’t be afraid to share the true Gospel of Christ. Our response should be “if you read YOUR bible you’ll see it says…” the proof is in the puddin folks. Let’s not put icing on the word of God. It says in the book of acts “and they were pricked in their hearts” it’s suppose to get our attention in that manner. Let’s go share this beautiful truth today.

  2. Job 32:6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

—-Job 32:13 Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

Job 32:18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

Job 32:19 Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

Job 32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

Matthew Henry commentary: He justified himself more than God, that is, took more care and pains to clear himself from the imputation of unrighteousness in being thus afflicted than to clear God from the imputation of unrighteousness in afflicting him, as if he were more concerned for his own honour than for God’s whereas he should, in the first place, have justified God and cleared his glory, and then he might well enough have left his own reputation to shift for itself. Note, A gracious heart is jealous for the honour of God, and cannot but be angry when that is neglected or postponed, or when any injury is done it. Nor is it any breach of the law of meekness to be angry at our friends when they are offensive to God. Get thee behind me, Satan, says Christ to Simon. Elihu owned Job to be a good man, and yet would not say as he said when he thought he said amiss: it is too great a compliment to our friends not to tell them of their faults.

  3. Seek The Kingdom- Reverence for the things of God

6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Elihu was speaking in response to Job, when the others would not or simply could not respond to Job’s outcry. I find that when looking at Elihu, there are two things that popped in my mind for those that are in the church and should heed what is being said- Elihu how ever young he was saw that there should be a reverence for the elders of his time, because of their age there should be great wisdom whether good or bad. And second he was allowing those elders to speak before he felt he could speak. We have to allow the generations that come before us in this walk with God to be able to speak to us because of the years of experience and living for God. We have to be a generation that will and can control our tongues and have reverence for the kingdom of God. That can only happen if we seek first the kingdom of God first.

We also must contend with a generation that is more lazy, more demanding, and most of all those that will not want to give sacrificially to gain the blessings and favor of God. It is the most challenging generation yet that the church must contend with. I find that God is allowing some to be challenged to bring forth humility so that these trials and tests can bring unity to the church to reach the lost souls before He blows the trumpet to call His bride away.

We must first submit our selves to the altar first, then we much revere the wisdom of those that have come before us and finally press toward the mark of the high calling of God and push to reap this harvest that God has placed before us.

    I love the Kingdom!

  4. Wow, what an intro stage Elihu sets for himself. The problem lies in verse 10 “AMP “Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I also will give you my opinion [about Job’s situation] and tell you plainly what I think.’ We must be careful when our own stinking “I” thinking gets involved rather than what God is saying. Let the Lord guide you in wisdom.

  5. 21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
    Job 32:21-22

We need to keep in mind who has All power for we are just humans, but threw God, and in the name of Jesus, he will help us.

  6. 10. Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.

    17. I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

This is where a lot of people get in trouble – they make their next move or decision based on their opinion rather than what God said, whether that word comes spoken through their Pastor or written in the Bible.

    1 Corinthians 2:
    4. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

    5. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

  7. Job 32 : 7-8 [Amp] I said, Age should speak, and a multitude of years should teach wisdom ( so let it be heard). [8] But there is [ vital force] a spirit [ of intelligence] in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives men understanding.
[ Prov.2:6] For the Lord give skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Wisdom is capitalized throughout as God designs for living and as a reminder of Christ. The more we read and learn about God is such a great experience. I love Jesus.

  8. So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
    Job 32:1 NKJV
    https://bible.com/bible/114/job.32.1.NKJV

He was righteous, and not just in his eyes, That’s the problem, people always judge by the situation, not by the character. they were grasping at straws, trying to figure out why Job was in the situation he was in! Job was very patient, an I dont beleive i would have been, all the accusations and guessing, nobody truly knowing anything, Job honestly didn’t know why either. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to be in a situation and dont understand how, or why, and then to have people speculate, is hard as well. That’s why we pray first figure it out later!

  9. Job 32

  10. Proverbs 26:24 A hypocrite hides hate behind flattering words. 25 They may sound fine, but don’t believe him, because his heart is filled to the brim with hate. 26 He may disguise his hatred, but everyone will see the evil things he does.
Ecc 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

Poor Job no one believes him. Not the old nor the young. All in all, Job has to sit and listen to all this ignorance. Sometimes all a friend needs is 2 ears to listen and a mouth to stay quiet. No judgement!! Just love and a supporting friend willing to pray for them. Thank you for all my brothers and sisters in the Lord that hold me in an embrace and pray with me when I am in need of encouragement.

  11. The wisdom that experience gives us is no match to he Wisdom God gives. Experience teaches us the natural cause and effect of life’s situation but the wisdom God bring has the supernatural in mind.

Man’s wisdom teaches us thing like if you touch something hot it will burn you. Yet Gods wisdom has a bush can be consumed with fire and not burn.

Let us seek out Godly wisdom in all things.

  12. iLove the King of the Kingdom
Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Here it is yet again y’all, the spirit of Wisdom active and available. Notice the context of the scripture. He is saying, “Great men are not always wise. The word “great” here is defined as royal, powerful, high in rank, and noble. At the beginning of the verse he clarifies that each man has his own spirit. This is the kicker though…The inspiration of the Almighty is what gives the understanding. This is the Hidden Treasure of Wisdom y’all and not everyone finds it.

  13. 20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

God does not care about titles nor does he respect any type of flattery. And our human minds we seem to have a certain amount of respect two persons if they have a title regardless of any of their devotion to said title. God is the one who ultimately rises people up into position. My old pastor used to teach me that you can lead without being in a leadership position. We don’t have to wait to have a title to be able to make a difference in other people’s lives nor do we require it. All we have to do is obey Christ. If a title is necessary then God will bring the right people into our lives to put us in that position but we can still be effective with or without it

  14. 6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Wisdom does not necessarily come from age and experience but wisdom is something that comes from God.

  15. 21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

We must be careful in what we say. To often we allow our tounge to speak before we actually speak. When we seek first the Kingdom. Then what should be coming out is the Kingdom. Life, blessings, Godly teaching. Do not speak just because it sounds good, or its what people want to hear. I thank God for a Pastor in my life that will speak to me strait. I thank God for His Word, that it will speak to me strait. I must seek after the words that are spoken out of love to help me stay true to the Gospel and to myself. For I k ow who I serve.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  16. This is what Elihu, son of Barakel the Buzite, said: “I’m a young man, and you are all old and experienced. That’s why I kept quiet and held back from joining the discussion. I kept thinking, ‘Experience will tell. The longer you live, the wiser you become.’ But I see I was wrong—it’s God’s Spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty One, that makes wise human insight possible. The experts have no corner on wisdom; getting old doesn’t guarantee good sense. So I’ve decided to speak up. Listen well! I’m going to tell you exactly what I think.
    Job 32:6‭-‬10 MSG
    https://bible.com/bible/97/job.32.6-10.MSG

It is the Spirit of God inside a person that grants them wisdom! BOOM!!

  17. “Job’s three friends now fell silent. They were talked out, stymied because Job wouldn’t budge an inch—wouldn’t admit to an ounce of guilt. Then Elihu lost his temper. (Elihu was the son of Barakel the Buzite from the clan of Ram.) He blazed out in anger against Job for pitting his righteousness against God’s. He was also angry with the three friends because they had neither come up with an answer nor proved Job wrong. Elihu had waited with Job while they spoke because they were all older than he. But when he saw that the three other men had exhausted their arguments, he exploded with pent-up anger.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭32:1-5‬ ‭MSG‬‬

We can easily understand how Elihu felt this. Yet what he did not understand was that both Job and God were right. The friends had forced themselves and Job into a false dilemma: either Job is right or God is right. They could not see or understand how both were right.

  18. Job 32
    “I’m a young man,
and you are all old and experienced.
    That’s why I kept quiet
and held back from joining the discussion.
I kept thinking, ‘Experience will tell.
The longer you live, the wiser you become.’
    But I see I was wrong—it’s God’s Spirit in a person.

So true….at a Picnic table one afternoon I recall a young man with the deepest green eyes began to speak. He was a mere 19 years old . As he spoke it was with such wisdom a genuine compassion and so much knowledge of the word. I pondered how could someone my own age be filled with so much wisdom. I watched as the years went by this young man would draw many people to him. They were much older than he some aged by life others by time. Again his deep green eyes would still be filled with the compassion and words of wisdom would flow . All because of one reason and one alone it was God’s Spirit alone. During some of the hardest trials of life this man would set aside a time to still pull up a chair and with those deep green eyes of his still filled with love and compassion though wounded deep inside himself and words of wisdom by the Spirit of God would flow. He never raised his voice nor spoke too harshly for there was an authority that came through him that caught ones attention yes it was by the Spirit of God.
He preached his first revival at the age of 14 his last at 57. If we will lift up the One who has all power giving all glory to Him there is no telling what young men and women of POFW could be doing.
Seeking first the Kingdom. As I sat in the director’s Meeting last night and I could hear the heart cry if our Pastor about the reading of the Word daily. I could feel tension as normal when the word blog was spoken. But that’s not what caught my attention it was the pain of the shepherds voice saying why will we not catch a vision of seeking God through the Word. You see we can speak in tongues every day but where is the fuel the wisdom the depth of having the Spirit from the Word. If we truly want the wisdom of God in our life to be used of God and if we truly believe who Jesus is “ The First The Last The Beginning The End why isn’t He THE FIRST AND THE LAST OF OUR DAY .
Some cannot and will not ever understand. Even Jesus Himself said it at the young age of 12.

Would we have more ammunition against the flesh against this world of deceit . What keeps us excited?
Will the young men and women rise up and speak a word of wisdom to us older . It was the younger who held up the hands of Moses . God just wants willing vessels He has no age limitation.

Recently I received a text it was a young man sending me a sermon he was working on .
Another young man two years ago used to bring me his notes and share what God was giving him. There was excitement in his voice.
Young people GOD is still reaching He wants to use your passion but where has It gone. Has it gotten too caught up in other relationships that have taken precedent over the wooing of God’s call. Young yes but soon too soon your role in life changes will it be hearing the voice of God recognizing it. You may have to say no to many things to set your priorities in order . Yes young person speak a word to the age . You may give them the fresh breath they are needing to get to the finish line. You can be used if God. Just be still and really get to know Him. You might just find what you have been frantically searching for!

    Luke 2
41 Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Festival of the Passover. 42 When he was twelve years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom. 43 After the festival was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. 44 Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends. 45 When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. 46 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47 Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48 When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”

49 “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”[a] 50 But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

  19. 2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

This verse reminded me that there is none righteous -no not one Rom 3:10, Ps 14 & Ps 53…except our God! and our righteousness is as filthy rags before God -Isaiah 64:6. We must not compare ourself with others and instead compare ourself with Jesus alone. He alone was with no sin in the flesh and we as his creations were born in sin and need to fall on, lean on and depend on his mercy and grace at all times.

  20. FIRST THE KINGDOM
MOTIVATION TO SEEK GOD FIRST EVERYDAY

9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

The consideration of man and his innate desire to be great is compelling. However, the natural mind looks at men that are successful and considers them to be great. Great men are considered in in various circles. Wealthy, successful, strong are some of the words that we use and hear in reference to “Great” men.

But, as the WORD of GOD declares here, men can be GREAT and not wise, and just because someone is aged or old does not mean that they have life figured out.

These are the challenges that keep me seeking FIRST THE KINGDOM everyday. I do not desire to grow great with no wisdom, nor old with no understanding. I must seek it daily with JESUS. Seeking for and Subitting to HIS will and way.

This is my MOTIVATION to SEEK GOD FIRST EVERYDAY. What pain and perils could be avoided, what shame and embarrassment could be forfeited, wait gains and glory could be attained. IF we will Seek First The Kingdom of GOD.

  21. 33:21,22 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
    ——-
I like this statement. Like I said it this morning:
Today, yes again today , It’s another day, another opportunity
To choose life or death, flesh or Spirit…..
What He said was good, we’ll see on the next verse what it was…..

  22. “No, I will say my piece. I will speak my mind.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭32:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Oh that we would all have the mind and attitude of Christ. This world would be a better place. This is what being a Christian is all about, being Christ like.

“Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.”
    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:1-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  23. This is what Elihu, son of Barakel the Buzite, said: “I’m a young man, and you are all old and experienced. That’s why I kept quiet and held back from joining the discussion. I kept thinking, ‘Experience will tell. The longer you live, the wiser you become.’ But I see I was wrong—it’s God’s Spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty One, that makes wise human insight possible…”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭32:6-8 ‭MSG‬‬

It’s wise to learn from our elders and respect them by allowing them to be first through such matters; but that doesn’t mean you can’t gain wisdom for yourself. We can still seek wisdom for ourselves. God wants us to seek it and follow it. But at the same time don’t get high and mighty over gaining wisdom, we still need to console the man of God once we feel direction so we can stay covered. God will never lead us wrong as long as we stay submitted.

  24. 17 I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

19 Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

How many times will your words continue to get you into a deeper whole(grave)? It truly does take Wisdom and self control to show/tell you when to speak. We live in a society today where tongues are loose and speak whatever anyone desires to speak no matter if it be wrong and who it hurts(kill)!!
We must be full of the Holy Ghost and led by it before we should even put our two cents in.
Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.
    Proverbs 21:23 KJV

  25. “Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man. For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.”
    Job 32:21‭-‬22 KJV

“The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:”
    Psalms 12:3 KJV

Elihu was right when it came to flattery: the Lord hates it. However, he was only half right. The Lord also hates prideful speech. Elihu reminds me of those who insist on speaking their minds bluntly and boldly. They say they are speaking the truth in love, but usually they are just speaking in pride, saying things that don’t really need to be said or that should have been said in a non-offensive manner. They are tactless, brusque, and condescending and act as if they are doing you a favor by sharing their “good opinions.”

The Word says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
    Ephesians 4:29 KJV

Any speech tainted by pride, filth, falsehood, or insincerity is corrupt communication. If we are not ministering grace, we would do better to be silent. The old saying goes: If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord , my strength, and my redeemer.”
    Psalms 19:14 KJV

“Set a watch, O Lord , before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.”
    Psalms 141:3 KJV

“She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”
    Proverbs 31:26 KJV

  26. 1: Job’s three friends refused to reply further to him because he kept insisting on his innocence. NLT

Have you ever had an encounter with someone and in trying to communicate a difference of opinion, you give up and just walk away.

I pray that we become so fluent in our conversations about Jesus Christ and all He is doing that those around us know that our mind is made up, that there’s no point in trying to make us believe otherwise.

  27. Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
    Job 32:2 KJV
I have 2 verses that came to mind from this one. First, the wrath of man should not be our motivation for any speech or action because:
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
    James 1:20KJV
David’s statement, “Is there not a cause?” is an example of someone aligning himself with God’s wrath because Goliath was defying the armies of Israel. Therefore David’s wrath was protecting God’s honor.

The other Scripture that came to mind was concerning Job’s self righteousness. The wise man said, Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?
    Ecclesiastes 7:16 KJV
The NLT makes it even clearer:
So don’t be too good or too wise! Why destroy yourself?
    Ecclesiastes 7:16 NLT

  28. 1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes

There is a reason Isaiah 64:6 says “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. ”

Gods righteousness cannot be found in us when we exhibit the “self righteous” attitude that we can do no wrong, are always right and always have done it better than others. God despises these attitudes and He will leave us to our own devices until we humble ourselves, repent and exchange our self righteousness for His righteous

  29. 6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

I have felt this way many times before. Trying to keep my peace and not say much because I know I am young compared to the elders or some that are supposed to be in charge. You think that they should have all the answers or they should be able to give good direction because of their tenure. I feel as though I should keep my opinion to myself. However, this isn’t the case. There have been many times that the prior opinions and direction were not logical or even presented correctly. Eligible waited until the they had all spoken their peace. This is the wisdom I pray for as well. To not only overstep, be patient, and to know my place in the presence of the elders.

  30. Prepare your work outside And get it ready for yourself in the field; Afterward build your house and establish a home.
    PROVERBS 24:27 AMP

7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Cleans our spirits through repentance, obey and submit to our King’s will give us a strong foundation for God’s work, to be filled/refilled with the holy spirit and used by God.
Like Elihu, we should learn from our elders, listen to and respect them for their wisdom holds a lot of knowledge that is important for our walk with God.

    I rejoice in my Lord.

  31. Job 32:7-9 (MSG)
I kept thinking, Experience will tell.
The longer you live, the wiser you become.
    But I see I was wrong – it’s God’s Spirit in a person,
the breath of the Almighty One, that makes wise human insight possible.
    The experts have no corner on wisdom;
getting older doesn’t guarantee good sense.

Proverbs 2:6 says, “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

It’s the LORD who gives wisdom. That’s why, if we lack wisdom, we can ask GOD for it.

  32. 9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
Don’t listen to what man has to say , listen to what the Lord has to say.

  33. 17. I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

I need not to rely on my opnion and just listen to what god has told me for if i listen to god and his word im showing faith that i trust in him with my life and more.

  34. 2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

We have to humble our selves for God cause if we don’t we would be so prideful and we are going to be so into this world and he will be angry but God will always love us.

  35. 21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

HALELUJAH!!! This is exactly how we are to be towards GOD’S creation, no one is better than another!!! Just because people may speak wise doesn’t mean their actions will match their speech!!! Asking GOD for wisdom is what we need to do ALWAYS!!!

  36. And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.

instead of standing back when god says something to me i will rejoice in that moment and gladly respond to god.

  37. A quote came to mind when I read this scripture.

    “No truth just compliments”

“I will speak, that I may find relief; I must open my lips and answer. Let me not, I pray, show partiality to anyone; Nor let me flatter any man. For I do not know how to flatter, Else my Maker would soon take me away.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭32:20-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Are we so delicate To other people and not hurting them that we dare not to tell the truth. Jesus have mercy

  38. 8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Everyone, whether young or old, has some sense of the difference between good and evil, we’re born with it. But we can’t stop with just that general knowledge, we need to gain wisdom.

Wisdom is often gained through experience, but when we allow Him control and seek Him FIRST, we won’t have to experience as many tough circumstances to gain wisdom, He will give it to us.

  39. 6 Elihu son of Barakel the Buzite said, “I am young and you are old, so I held back from telling you what I think.

Even back then, Elihu showed respect to his elders. He recognize he was younger and gave way to his elders. Today, you see children and even adults speak over others to get their attention. If we all could show patience and wait your turn to speak, all would go so much better. Lets show the young, when its ok to interrupt a conversation. Don’t allow your own children to interrupt your adult conversation.

  40. 8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

  41. 7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

  42. 21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

  43. Job 32:7,8 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.

  44. 3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

    His three Friends wrath kindled

  45. That if Jesus tells you something, Believe it and share it . Do not believe someone else’s opinion if they are saying that God is wrong or if that’s not the truth, don’t let them make you walk away from the matter stick to your mind and stick to what God told you.

  46. 7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

That is a tough lesson to learn. As we grow our elders are looked up to, and seen as great men, but the fact is that they are only men.
When we have questions, we need to see what the Kingdom handbook says, what the Word of God says. We might have to dig, but it is there, and if we ask for understanding and wisdom, the Holy Ghost will help.

  47. 21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man’s person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

God is not impressed with titles, nor is He a respecter of persons. All are souls. All are worthy for he paid the price for us all. What he is interested with is the condition of your heart.

  48. “I will show no partiality, nor will I flatter anyone;”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭32:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Just like I always say, “tell it like it is!!” There’s no need for fluff, tip toe or beat around the bush, just say it! And on top of that, just take it! You don’t have to say anything right then, soak it in and think on it.

  49. Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

  50. “I’m a young man,
and you are all old and experienced.
    That’s why I kept quiet
and held back from joining the discussion.
I kept thinking, ‘Experience will tell.
The longer you live, the wiser you become.’
    But I see I was wrong—it’s God’s Spirit in a person,
the breath of the Almighty One, that makes wise human insight possible.
    MSG Job 32:6-10

To be respectful isn’t always to stay quiet. As a young adult, whether in church, at home, or in school, I am continuously learning how to address those who may have more tenure than me. Gratefully that’s where my relationship with God chimes in, Gaining wisdom speaks to your growth as a child of God not necessarily how many years you’ve been saved. Also growth is NEVER easy, but needed.

I thank God for the wisdom he has given me and continues to give.
