Job 33

Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.

12 Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

13 Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:

24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:

26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

29 Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.

32 If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.

33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

  1. 30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living
    The pit of sinfulness, impure thoughts and actions.
    REPENTANCE
    To be enlightened with the light of the living. Jesus is the light of the world

  2. Deu 5:24. And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.

    Job 33:7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
    ~> I feel like Elihu is about to tell Job bitter sweet advice with wisdom and he’s not going to judge Job. Elihu
    is going to pour his heart out in front of those 3 “friends” and it will not be through condemnation just and uncandy coated facts from God to Job about situation.

    Job 33:12 Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

    Job 33:14-16 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
    ~> Visions of the night

    This is what Job said in 7:14 Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:
    ——. —
    Job 33:20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
    ——. —
    Job 33:24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

    Job 33:31-32 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom. If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee. Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.

  3. Why do you accuse God of never answering our complaints? Although God speaks again and again, no one pays attention to what he says.
    Job 33:13‭-‬14 GNB
    https://bible.com/bible/296/job.33.13-14.GNB

    He hears us all the time. He never stops listening, but we do. You can’t hear from God, #1 if you never stop complaining long enough #2 the lack of the spirit or #3 you aint talking to him enough, talking not complainingn. I find that, that one on one time we have with him really opens the ear drum. Just like in a relationship with a friend or a spouse we need that alone time just to soak up eachothers presents and the aspect there of.

  4. “God rescued me from the grave, and now my life is filled with light.’ “Yes, God does these things again and again for people. He rescues them from the grave so they may enjoy the light of life.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭33:28-30‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    Can anybody testify about this right here.
    We all can, we’ve experienced this at least once in our lives. We come into this world in sin losing against the works of death pressing on us as son as we’re born. But thank you Holy Ghost. Because of him we are set free. He pulled us out and brought us through and continues to do it over and over again. All we can do is praise him and give our all because we can’t out give God. Grab your nets folks and let’s go share a testimony!

  5. 27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

    28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
    Job 33:27-28

    God is forgiving. As long as you repent your sins and give your self to God he will baptize you in the Holy ghost. Our God is amazing!

  6. Elihu continues in his “I” series of conversation as he thinks he can teach wisdom in verses 31-33 “Keep listening, Job. Don’t interrupt—I’m not finished yet. But if you think of anything I should know, tell me. There’s nothing I’d like better than to see your name cleared. Meanwhile, keep listening. Don’t distract me with interruptions. I’m going to teach you the basics of wisdom.”

    Proverbs 4:6-7 AMP “Do not [a]turn away from her (Wisdom) and she will guard and protect you; Love her, and she will watch over you. “The beginning of wisdom is: Get [skillful and godly] wisdom [it is preeminent]! And with all your acquiring, get understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation].”

    Proverbs 1:7 AMP “The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of knowledge [its starting point and its essence]; But arrogant [a]fools despise [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction and self-discipline.”

    James 3:17 AMP “But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile].”

    Ecclesiastes 2:26 AMP “For to the person who pleases Him God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who pleases God. This too is vanity and chasing after the wind.”

  7. 31-33. Keep listening, Job. Don’t interrupt-I’m not finished yet. But if you think of anything I should know, tell me. There’s nothing I’d like better than to see your name cleared. Meanwhile, keep listening. Don’t distract me with interruptions. I’m going to teach you the basics of wisdom. MSG

    We could have all the right wisdom to share, but if we present it with the wrong attitude or approach, it won’t be received and we could do more harm than good.

  8. Job 33-29-30 [ Elihu ccomments] Behold, God does all things these things twice, yes, three times, with man. [30] To bring back , his life from the pit [ of destruction], that he may be enlighted with the light of the living. Elihu was telling Job don’t bother me I teaching wisdom. Repentance and being baptize in Jesus is the only way !
    [ Proverbs 1:23 ] If you will turn ( repent) and give need to my reproof , behold, I [ Wisdom] will pour out My Spirit upon you. I will make my words know to you. Amen.

  9. 26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

    27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

    28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

    The blessings of repentance!!!! This young man is very bold. He doesn’t accuse or condemns Job for wrong doing, he gets upset because Job is getting petty with God. He wants Job to know that God does thing out of a fatherly love. That he wants men to experience remorse and repentance. That God chastises men as a father will chastise a child that it’s going the wrong way. Everything God does, He does for our good. Search me oh God that I may correct my ways and come to you on my knees in repentance. Thank you Jesus for your Grace and Mercy!

  10. From the pit to the palace

    “He will redeem his soul from going down to the Pit, And his life shall see the light. “Behold, God works all these things, Twice, in fact, three times with a man, To bring back his soul from the Pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of life.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭33:28-30‬ ‭

    God can dig out the hardest of men. The toughest of guys the most sinful people that have ever loved. He can bring them out to a life of pure joy and peace. Only God can deliver in such a way. You can go from the pit to sitting next to him in righteousness in the palace.

  11. If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee. If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
    Job 33:32‭-‬33 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/job.33.32-33.KJV

    Ok, so as I was reading this, I remember reading the words that God spoke to Job…

    Job 38
    “Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?
    Job 38:2 NKJV
    https://bible.com/bible/114/job.38.2.NKJV

    I read this and had to giggle, who is he that he can teach Job wisdom, God loved Job and Job had wisdom and God knewJob. all these characters dont have a clue who Job is, but God does, their righteousness was in their own eyes. Jobs was in Gods! Lord let me know you in the way that you know Job, let my relationship with you be beyond the fact that you created me. I need to know you! Thank you Jesus for the great and mighty things you are doing in our lives during this season of revival!

    Job 1:8
    Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
    Job 1:8 NKJV
    https://bible.com/bible/114/job.1.8.NKJV

    FIRST THE KINGDOM
    When God allows satan to touch us….GOD IS GOOD

  12. When he prays to God, he will be accepted. And God will receive him with joy and restore him to good standing. He will declare to his friends, ‘I sinned and twisted the truth, but it was not worth it. God rescued me from the grave, and now my life is filled with light.’
    Job 33:26‭-‬28 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/job.33.26-28.NLT

    Here’s how crazy life is: you live a life full of sin. Doing everything that goes against God. Then one day you hear a faint voice; you begin to pray. You ask the Almighty to forgive you of all the things that you have done. It doesn’t matter what it is; God is gracious enough to say you are forgiven; then you get baptized and receive the Holy Ghost. At that moment a shift takes place within you: you begin to realize that all this time you could have had a life that is eternal. I’m grateful for those around me that have not experienced the world as I have; then I’m also thankful for those that have come out of the pits, valleys, and their own wilderness. We all have a story to tell; we all have an awesome testimony. Live life according to God; don’t be afraid to tell the world no. We are the children of God.

  13. 2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
    3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
    4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

    For as long as I can always been intrigued by this part of the book. The youngest holds out and has respect to let everyone talk and then request to speak. He then makes someone of a compelling argument about not premium complaints against God because of his righteousness. He calls out the other three for their ignorance. I never could quite tell whether or not he received the same judgment that his friends did. But I always like the fact that he was so respectful to his elders and waited to speak

  14. First the kingdom in listening to the voice of God

    14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

    15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

    16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

    17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

    18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

    God speaks to us by conscience, by providences, and by ministers; of all these Elihu discourses. There was not then, that we know of, any Divine revelation in writing, though now it is our principal guide. When God designs men’s good, by the convictions and dictates of their own consciences, he opens the heart, and opens the ears, so that conviction finds or forces its way in. While sinners are pursuing evil purposes, and indulging their pride, their souls are hastening to destruction. That which turns men from sin, saves them from hell.

    We find that it is up to each of us to work out our own salvation we can not depend on any one else to help us and do it for us.

    Philippians 2:12-13
    12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

    It is up to each of us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness to hone our ears to the voice of God and our hearts to the convictions of God. Build up the altar and let the fresh fire begin to fall to renew our passion for the things of God and his kingdom.

  15. Job 33:26-30
    26) He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
    27) He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
    28) He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
    29) Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
    30) To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

    He shall pray unto God… If any say, I have sinned… He will deliver…
    “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
    Today, if we will REPENT, God will Forgive, Restore, Deliver, and Redeem us.
    How Is Your Altar Today?

    Thank You JESUS for Your MERCY!!!
    GOD IS GOOD!!!

  16. iLove the Kingdom
    Elihu Rebukes Job

    Here we have this young buck rebuking an elder. He’s basically letting Job know that God does not rebuke you if you are living right. This implies that Job is in the wrong and somehow he got himself into all this trouble. These friends just keep on pushing Job, but job refuses to accept their view of him. We must not accept what people think about us, we must believe what HE says about us.

  17. God’s Greatness
    Job 33:13-28
    Job had a complaining attitude toward his suffering and a hostile attitude toward God.
    God doesn’t have to answer to man (v.13) but he does reveal Himself through dreams and visions (vv15,16), pain and suffering (vv19-22),

    When a man responds favorably to his suffering, God restores him

    v.25-28 His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth: He shall pray unto God, and he will be favorable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and It profited me not; He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

    Jeremiah 9:23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

  18. 3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
    4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

    When we put First the Kingdom of God in our lives, the words of uprightness will come out. We are Holy Ghost filled people, and the words of the Word should be coming out of our mouth. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and people will see and hear the difference in you. Be a light to those around you and shine for Jesus.

  19. 26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
    27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
    28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

    What a mighty testimony we all have through Jesus Christ! He came as the ransom for us so we could cry out to Him and be delivered into the light! We can share our testimony with others to draw them as well, people are looking for the hope we have!

  20. Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words… My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly… Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead…
    Job 33:1‭, ‬3‭‭, ‬6a KJV

    This sounds to me like the pot calling the kettle black. Job has been continually condemned for declaring his own righteousness and wisdom, and now Elihu states that everyone sound listen to him because he is righteous and wise enough to speak on God’s behalf.

    How easy it is to see faults in others and yet to be blind to our own. In truth, we often make hypocrites of ourselves when we judge our brother. We would save ourselves many trials if we would be more consistent in loving our brother and judging our own hearts and actions.

    “But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.”
    Romans 14:10‭-‬13 KJV

    “But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”
    1 Corinthians 11:28‭-‬31 KJV

  21. 27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

    It is never bad to humble ourself before GOD, it is always good to seek GOD, we cannot seek him enough, we can never learn too much. HE IS THE LIVING GOD!!! HE IS ALFA AND OMEGA!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  22. My words come from my upright heart,
    and my lips speak with sincerity what they know.
    The Spirit of God has made me,
    and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
    Refute me if you can.
    Prepare your case against me; take your stand.I am just like you before God;
    I was also pinched off from a piece of clay.
    Fear of me should not terrify you;
    the pressure I exert against you will be light.
    Surely you have spoken in my hearing,
    and I have heard these very words:
    “I am pure, without transgression;
    I am clean and have no guilt.
    But He finds reasons to oppose me;
    He regards me as His enemy.He puts my feet in the stocks; He stands watch over all my paths. But I tell you that you are wrong in this matter, since God is greater than man. Job 33:3-12 HCSB

  23. 27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

    Whem im having a not good day i need to remind myself ive been cleaned and now god is with me wherever i go. God has wash all the weight on my shoulders and that should be just enough for my day to be good and beyond.

  24. Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

    9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

    15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

    This help me with my mind and all the things that I did that wasn’t right with God but now I that I have God I have been changed

  25. 31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
    32 If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
    33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

    Elihu has surely gotten the Lord’s attention with his boast to teach Job wisdom. Wisdom comes from God when we seek it humbly. Had I been standing near this man when he said this, I wound be backing away from him -fearing what the Lord could do. With that said, God wants us to seek Hid wisdom but it does begin with the fear, healthy respect, of God. And I don’t believe that we should rebuke an elder, rather allow God to do it through the Pastor or the preaching.

  26. Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

    2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

    3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

    4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

    5 If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

    6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

    7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

    8 Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

    9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

    10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

    12 Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

    13 Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.

    14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

    15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

    27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

    33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

    why is it so hard for man kind to obey God why does the animals, the plants , and the mountains move when god says move why cant we do the same

  27. For the Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
    Job 33:4 NLT
    God is my Creator, my Source, my Giver of Life and Breath, my Savior, my Friend, Comforter, Guide, Help, Strength, Healer, Deliverer, Counselor, Protector, Provider. He is all these things and more! Yet, He won’t praise for me or force me to obey Him or force me to confess to Him! I must choose to do that and use the breath He gives to praise Him. I must choose to use the life He gives to worship Him!!!
    “To worship Him I live, I live, I live to worship Him!”

  28. “God does all these things to a person— twice, even three times— to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭33:29-30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    God gives us so many chances to turn away from what we’re doing, he makes a way for you to escape but we don’t take it. But then when things worsen we want to cry and ball our eyes out because God isn’t answering your cries. What about those road blocks he tried to put up for you?? Remember when you saw them and you blueprint moving forward because you thought you knew better?? Pay attention to when God is trying to take you out of something, it will save you some heart ache.

  29. 33:27,28 He looked upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not.
    He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
    ——————
    God is a merciful God, he want s your soul to live forevermore, so He is looking, who, who is done with their life?, who is fed up with their life? With their result….
    God is ready to forgive and receive….. and start again

  30. 27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

    28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

    It is so simple all that Jesus wants from us. He just wants us to realize we can’t do it on our own and that we need His help. Then admit that and she will deliver us. Just as a parent sometimes let’s their stubborn child do as they want. So that when they come back crying they learn their lesson and then listen the next time the parent says you shouldn’t do that or these will be the consequences or retaliation. He is our Father.

  31. God’s infinite wisdom was at the creation of everything. He had the planned, and carefully executed it from nothing to everything. His wisdom is beyond measure and sometimes beyond what we could even imagine. Yet, he carefully orchestrated our lives from the first breath to our last. Matthew declares to us that God cares for the very sparrow that falls to the ground, how much the more he cares for his children, our very hairs of our head are numbered.

    So God uses different paths and methods for shaping us to become like Him. Some of us are hard headed and the test takes much longer than expected because of our response. I believe if Job would have humbled himself during this process instead of grumbling and complaining, he would not have suffered nearly as long before restoration came to his life.

    If each of us could adapt this lesson in our lives. Take time to look at the situations we find ourselves in and ask God what is the lesson I need to learn, help me to learn it so that His will is accomplished.

    Suffering is never easy, loss is never easy, but God is in charge and knows the path that we take, our downsittings, our uprisings……He knows it all. The question is do we trust Him?

    Still I will trust You, Still I will follow
    Still I will listen to Your every calling
    And oh the storm it rages on
    And I can’t find my way
    Still I will trust You Lord

  32. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    EQUALLY DUST

    6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

    This revelation and understanding of The Kingdom of GOD is extremely valuable to us. Rising too high on Blessings or Falling too low on Famines. The beauty and power of understanding that we are all “Formed out of the same clay” and EQUALLY DUST.

    The inspration behind this revelation is the fact that I should never think myself above any trial or test and I should never think myself below any favor or blessing. This revelation keeps me balanced; humble and expectant.

    It is dangerous to look at someone else in their trial and believe that it could never happen to me; equally it is futile to look at someone else in their blessing and believe that it could never happen to me.

    We are all formed from the same dust that GOD created at the same time.

  33. Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,

    11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.

  34. 1. Listen to my words, Job; pay attention to what I have to say.

    A simple concept, listen to what is being said. Most we hear the Word, but not listening to be able to apply it to our lives. It goes in one ear and out the other. Let’s pay attention to his Word.

  35. ““But please, Job, hear my speech, And listen to all my words.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭33:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

    A few years ago, as sis. Crokett was teaching she made a statement that has stuck with me. And it was the difference between hearing and listening. She said if you’re just hearing, it’s going in one ear and out the other. But if you’re listening it’s actually being applied.

    We can read the Bible every day, but if we are not applying it; what good is it doing? We can hear every word the preacher speaks, but if we do not take it personally, we will never be changed.

    “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  36. ““Here’s what you said. I heard you say it with my own ears. You said, ‘I’m pure—I’ve done nothing wrong. Believe me, I’m clean—my conscience is clear. But God keeps picking on me; he treats me like I’m his enemy. He’s thrown me in jail; he keeps me under constant surveillance.’”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭33:8-11‬ ‭MSG‬‬

  37. 21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

  38. In this chapter what came to my mind was that even tough that it may seem like we are being punished, just remember that you are a child of God. God has a plan for everyone, so we have to learn patience and watch God do his thing. BE GREATFUL POFW!!😁😁

  39. 1 Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

    Jesus l Pray thee hear my speech and hearken😀😀😀

  40. 33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.

    We keep hearing this word rehearsed in our ears over and over again. “Wisdom” it’s important for us to take heed to it. We are living in a day and age where it is important that we seek it and apply it. Wisdom will help us help others. It will help us help ourselves and it will also help us build a great future. Let us learn to faithfully seek wisdom from God and also carefully discern when to wisely apply the knowledge of the experiences and direction from others to our lives.

  41. 2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

    3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

    4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

  42. For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it. He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds. He whispers in their ears and terrifies them with warnings.
    Job 33:14‭-‬16 NLT

    Many times the Lord will give us a dream and or vision. At times it may be clear and at other not quite so. The point is that we have to pray. He is showing us sometimes for a reason. Until it is clear for you, pray. That is the best thing one can do. Pray over the meaning and situation. God is always speaking to us. Ask Him to confirm it through the Word.

  43. “Look, you and I both belong to God. I, too, was formed from clay.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭33:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    We are all made from the same dirt, molded by the same God and designed for a Kingdom Mind! It’s when we let carnality and things of this world district and alter our mindset that we begin to think we are greater then others.

    Stay in the word of God and keep a Kingdom Mind.

  44. My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

    4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

    5 If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

    6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
