Job 34

Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?

Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

10 Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?

14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

16 If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

17 Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?

18 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?

19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.

25 Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

26 He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

29 When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

33 Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

  1. 13 God is not partial to princes
and does not favor the rich over the poor,
for they are all the work of His hands.

I am so thankful for a Pastor that has a heart for outreach. There is a statement that my pastor back home said you, if you will love the unloveable, God will send you the loveable. God is a just and righteous God, whom shall we fear!

  2. 36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

I feel for Job, for I too get angry when I am accused for something I didn’t do. His friends all had pointed the finger at him, so I understand Jobs indignation. Yes, all men are sinners, and yes, we are all born of iniquity; but Job has been through hell on earth and not one offered some kind affection. It must be so terrible to find yourself in that pain and only have a few “friends” that continually condemned you. It is in those terrible situations that you know who your real friends are. Yes, the young man want to lead him to repentance but through shame and condemnation. Let us remember that worst were some of us, and when we lead others to repentance, it should be done with love and through example. Let your life be a testimony of the truth, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

  3. You cant question God we are just humans he is the almighty. GOD talks to us and sonetimes we don’t hear it. God knows what we are going through. He sees it and he cares . He’s just waiting for us to say . LORD I NEED YOU I CAN’T MAKE IT WITHOUT YOU.

  4. Job said, ‘The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.’
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We all have certain foods we don’t like or certain ways we like to eat them. Some are super picky and some will eat most anything. Comparing that to the words we hear, I wonder why we tend not to be as picky..? It’s ok to filter out and set a guard to ignore salty and bitter words. That filter is the Word of God and we need to guard what we allow into our spirit.

  5. Verses 13-15 MSG “He’s the one who runs the earth! He cradles the whole world in his hand! If he decided to hold his breath, every man, woman, and child would die for lack of air.” This reminded me of the song “We Will Believe”:

He still has the whole world in His hands.
He is still the beginning and the end.
He still got the sparrow as it flies
You and I are still the apple of His eye.
    Still we will believe
We will believe the report of the Lord
We will trust in Him; worship in one accord
    He’s marvelous in power
Always strong in the midnight hour
We will believe the report of the Lord
We will trust in Him; worship in one accord
    He’s marvelous in power
Always strong in the midnight hour
Now is the time for the divine favor of the Lord.

  6. 14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

If God wished such a thing, and should set his heart upon it, he could easily cut off the whole race. He has power to do it, and no one can deny him the right. Man has no claim to life, but he who gave it has a right to withdraw it, and the race is absolutely dependent on this infinite Sovereign. Being such a Sovereign, therefore, and having such a right, man cannot complain of his Maker as unjust, if he is called to pass through trials.

that it is rather an argument from the absolute sovereignty or power of the Almighty, implying that man had no right to complain of the divine dealings in the loss of health, property, or friends; for if he chose he might sweep away the whole race, and leave the earth desolate.

From the exerts of the commentaries above, Elihu states that Job would not have a right to speak anything toward God, if God so chooses to with draw himself from mankind and take life away. We would simply go back to the dust from whence we came. Ecclesiastes states there is a Season for everything and only God can control our destiny. But it does state in Ecclesiastes does state in 3:12-15

12I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. 13And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. 14I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. 15That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

What ever time we spend on this earth we have to labour for God in order to enjoy his blessings. If we seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, when he calls us before his throne of judgement, then there shall be no complaints for God has all control. Heed the voice that calls us to labour for his kingdom.

  7. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    RIGHTEOUS GOD

10 Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

GOD is Faithful, Just and Holy. Man strives to be Faithful, Just and Holy. GOD is our example of RIGHTEOUSNESS. As Elihu declares here of GOD.

It is possible and even probable that man will fail in RIGHTEOUSNESS. But not for GOD. We are made in the image and likeness of GOD, therefore we should seek for and desire to live RIGHTEOUS, because GOD is.

We live for GOD in the confidence of HIS Righteousness. We live Holy because HE is HOLY. Man will disappoint us, but GOD will never fail. Our FAITH and confidence is in HIM. We cannot trust every word of man, but we can trust every word of GOD.

Follow GOD and see, seek GOD and find, trust GOD and experience.

  8. 10. Listen to me, you who have understanding. Everyone knows that God doesn’t sin! The Almighty can do no wrong.

    12. Truly, God will not do wrong. The Almighty will not twist justice. NLT

We make mistakes because of poor judgment, lack of information, and many other reasons. God, with His infinite wisdom and pure and Holy nature, isn’t subject to such human tendencies; therefore, He doesn’t make mistakes.

Rule #1: God is always right.
    Rule # 2: see rule # 1.

  9. 19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

God loves all of his people no matter rich, or poor. We need to treat everyone equally for we all are the children of God.

  10. 19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

God loves all of his people no matter rich, or poor. We need to treat everyone equally for we all are the children of God.

  11. Job 34: 21 [Amp] For [ God’s] eyes are upon the ways of man, and He sees all his steps.
God don’t miss nothing he see’s everything we do.
[Ps.34:15 ] The eyes of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
[ Prov. 5:21] For the ways of man are directly before the eyes of the Lord, and He [ Who would have us live soberly , chastely, and godly] carefully weighs all man’s goings. The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch upon the evil and the good. Nothing hidden from God he knows all. The Lord is my Strength, and my Stronghold, and my Refuge and my Shield.

  12. Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men. For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
    Job 34:35‭-‬37 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/job.34.35-37.KJV

I dont understand why would you feel is ok to cast your Judgment on Job, I need the relationship that Job had with God, the problem is , you sont really know what the problem is so your grasping at straws, it must be inconceivable to think that maybe everything isnt always that your a sinner, When I read the part that Jobs friends saw him afraid Nd came to him, I assumed that they were going to pray with him! What a difference some prayer would have made, how uplifting Job would have felt. I think that they are acting like everything is fine Nd they may or may not be going through some stuff and Job is already going through so why not take it out on him! God help us, that we dont discourage anyone due to our discouragement!
    FIRST THE KINGDOM
When friends let you down….GOD IS GOOD

  13. 11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

Job was never being arrogant though he was being accused of it it was his mine said that was trying to justify what was coming against him rather than trying to understand it. But this part of the chapter is what gets me because if God gave every man according to our ways what we deserve what all be in trouble. Nobody deserves Mercy and nobody camp obtain Grace, these are provided by God through his love.

  14. “If God is silent, what’s that to you? If he turns his face away, what can you do about it? But whether silent or hidden, he’s there, ruling, so that those who hate God won’t take over and ruin people’s lives.
    Job 34:29‭-‬30 MSG
    https://bible.com/bible/97/job.34.29-30.MSG

Even when we can’t see or feel God, He’s there for us. He never abandons or fails us. He’s always with us.

  15. Job
    “All right-thinking people say—
and the wise who have listened to me concur—
    ‘Job is an ignoramus.
    He talks utter nonsense.’
Job, you need to be pushed to the wall and called to account
for wickedly talking back to God the way you have.
    You’ve compounded your original sin
    by rebelling against God’s discipline,
Defiantly shaking your fist at God,
piling up indictments against the Almighty One.”

Why are these friends so ignorant? Do they not believe that Job knew who God was and that he knew it was only by the grace of God that he could be saved . Job was being tested . Have we forgotten the first chapters ? So typical sometimes we fail to realize that pain goes deep. We sometimes lose the weakened because of judgement. Can we ? Will we? Arise above our human thoughts and encourage and lift up and exemplify by our own testimonies of how God has seen us through times we utterly could not understand. Can we love and lead with the heart of Jesus Christ? We have all fallen been wounded made mistakes are we able to share our own weaknesses so those beaten down or wounded will know they do have a chance of going trough of getting through of survival. God has seen many of us through some of the toughest ugliness. Yes we have all sinned because we are born into sin we must daily repent for sins we may not have recognized but we can live righteous through the blood of Jesus
Job’s friends continued to judge without any cause.
God Himself said Have you considered my servant Job . I’m amazed how quickly people can make such such a quick judgement…
The innocent trying to do the best they can but one little word spoken untimely can cause so much confusion and lack of confidence they have been trying to achieve.
We as Christians must reflect God’s love.. Not in condoning sin but leading and loving.

Proverbs 25:11-13 King James Version (KJV)
11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Father guard my mouth that I speak only what You want spoken. Yes I know that will be a challenge but nothing is too big for You.

  16. 32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

    Repentance

When we fall down, we must get up. Thank you Jesus that we can come to him and ask for forgiveness and turn away from the sins of this world. When we seek after His Kingdom, that becomes more important. So seek ye first the Kingdom of God.

  17. 31“Why don’t people say to God, ‘I have sinned, but I will sin no more’?

Why don’t people admit they have sinned? It’s called pride, or even being ashamed. It’s always hard to admit you have done wrong. It takes courage to admit you are wrong, you have failed, or sinned. But once you do, the weight of guilt is lifted, and you’re free. God will forgive you.

  18. 21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

Out of all of Elihu’s speech, these words are true about God. There is no place to hide our sin from God, he sees the god and the bad we may do. And while Job May have not have understood my God allowed this trial come, we know today that he tries us and tests us, even allows us to go through the Fire so we can come forth as pure gold.

  19. 34:12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will. The Almighty pervert judgement.
    ——
Better be carefully to come against God when we are goi g through trouble. He is mighty, He is righteous. He knows it all , He knows the beginning and the end.
Keep believing, keep praising, keep moving on, ….. for His ways are perfect.

  20. It is impossible for God to anything evil and wicked, but bad things are still going to happen. God makes us pay for what we have done no more, and no less. If God decided to hold his breath every man and women would die. God is working behind the scenes as we know it. We should just confess to God of all of our sins. Job is going through a really rough time right now, but you know we serve a great and mighty God, so when life is unfair GOD IS GOOD!!!

  21. Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

3 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

5 For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

  22. Oh my thinking people say Joe he talks Autre nonsense job you need to be pushed to the wall and called to account for wickedly talking back to God the way you how did your original sin by rebelling
When life is unfair God is good.

  23. 18 Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?

Do not be ungodly thou the art of wicked 🤔🤔

  24. ““Listen to me, you who have understanding. Everyone knows that God doesn’t sin! The Almighty can do no wrong. He repays people according to their deeds. He treats people as they deserve. Truly, God will not do wrong. The Almighty will not twist justice.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:10-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Man can try to figure out the ways of God but in the end will find it’s impossible. Just when you think you have it figured out He does a new thing. For His ways are not like ours and His thoughts are above ours.

  25. Job 34:3, “For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tastes meat.”
Job 12:11, “Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?”

Try means – to test something to see if it is suitable or useful or if it works.

Just like when we eat food, either we will like it and eat it, or we will reject it and spit it out because it tasted bad.
The same should be true of words we hear. When we are being spoken to, we should test the words we hear to see if they are suitable or useful and something we can receive, or reject them because they harmful and bad for us.
Are the words we hear bringing life or death?
    Are they true or false?
Are they building up or tearing down?
Are they encouraging and strengthening or accusing?

Oh be careful little ear what you hear!

  26. “Job said, ‘The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.’ So let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    What are you listening to?

When food has went bad (spoiled/rotten) it only takes one taste of it to figure it out.

The same with hearing. Whether it be music or words that are being spoken, it only takes a few seconds to figure out if it’s bad for us.

Do you continue to eat the spoiled food? No, so why would we continue to listen to that which we know is bad for our spirit?

  27. KJV 32 – That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

    AMP 32 – Teach me what I do not see [in regard to how I have sinned];
If I have done wrong (injustice, unrighteousness),
I will not do it again’?

31-33 “So why don’t you simply confess to God?
Say, ‘I sinned, but I’ll sin no more.
Teach me to see what I still don’t see.
Whatever evil I’ve done, I’ll do it no more.’
Just because you refuse to live on God’s terms,
do you think he should start living on yours?
You choose. I can’t do it for you.
    Tell me what you decide.

The Lord is looking for a “teachable” spirit in all of us. If we will allow Him, He will teach us all things through the power of the Holy Ghost.

KJV Psalm 25:4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.

  28. iLove the Kingdom
Job 34:3  For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

Wow, this is a powerful statement in many ways. First thing is this, when you talk to someone the other person is constantly judging your words…yep, just like when you sit down at Cooper’s BBQ and your mouth tastes that meat up in there! Your taste buds can pick up and judge between good brisket (like what we serve on Western Day) and not so good mushy chopped beef sandwiches like they serve next to Ridgemar Mall at Cowtown BBQ.

Tell the truth in love and wisdom and season your words with salt. Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

  29. Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
    Job 34:12 KJV
Job’s friends have all taken this faulty premise: Job’s sufferings and trouble was caused by his sins. Jesus had to dispel this kind of thinking among his disciples:
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
    John 9:1‭-‬3 KJV
The disciples assumed somebody’s sins caused the blindness but Jesus lets them know there’s something greater at work here, this is for the Glory of God! So it is often the case with us , we go through difficult times in order to manifest the works of God in our lives.
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
    1 Peter 5:10 KJV

  30. 35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.
36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

Someone is always watching your actions!! Whether you handle it with grace and wisdom or whether you decide to speak without knowledge or wisdom; there will always be someone watching and waiting for your reactions. Waiting to evaluate you and how you handle what life and God threw at you. How will you decide to react? With knowledge and wisdom? Or will you choose to speak with negative connotations and stupidity??

  31. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.
    Job 34:36 KJV

We should always be wary of our own spirits when our desire is to see other men face judgment. The Spirit of Jesus in us should lead us to desire to see all men repent. We should mourn the sin of others and intercede for them, rather than proudly pronounce judgment over them. Consider the following story in Luke:

“And [Jesus] sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for Him. And they did not receive Him, because His face was as though He would go to Jerusalem. And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But He turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
    Luke 9:52‭-‬56 KJV

Elihu wanted Job condemned because he felt Job had dishonored God. However, God wanted Job restored and brought closer. (He has no wounded pride, only a broken heart.) It is not His will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Let us consider what spirit we are of when we judge our brother and adjust it to match our Lord’s.

  32. 2 Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

God is always here for us no matter what sitiuation we are in we just have to submit ourselves to him. When we dont know what to do and we dont know what to start just open your ear to god and he will provide knowledge.

  33. Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

2 Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

3 For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

5 For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

6 Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

we are the ones who put ourselves in bondage

  34. 4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

We actually do have a choice!!! A choice to live in sin, rebellion or to live a righteous life!!! But Job did the latter nothing he did was in sin or rebellion. Critical people always will be critical and judgmental…… regardless ,LOVE IS THE ANSWER, SHOW JESUS EVERYTIME!!! we need to be careful….. a woman cut me off on the road and I was quick to want to honk at her but quickly GOD said NO!!! I then in an instant realized that I was looking wrong!!! We never know what someone is going through so just LOVE!!! NEVER FORGETTING THAT WE ARE NOT EXEMPT!!!! I love you JESUS!!!

  35. 22 There is no darkness or shadow where sinners can hide themselves. 23 For God does not need to set a time for man to go before Him and be judged.

We may leave here anytime and be judged by God, so why try to run and hide from our sins when we can repent and turn away so we can walk with Him and not be worried about when He’s coming.

  36. Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

  37. There is no darkness dark enough to hide a sinner from God.
    Job 34:22 GNB
    https://bible.com/bible/296/job.34.22.GNB

No matter the cover or front we try to put up, he sees. Besides the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Confess dont hide because if you think your going to stop doing what ever your doing on your own its not posible. Its your will that started it in the first place. So why depend on that will that failed you. Depend on his will and you will recover.

  38. “Truly, God will not do wrong. The Almighty will not twist justice.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It can be easy in the naive mindset to believe that God is some mean King, when life isn’t going your way.

Yet we have to remember even when it’s not going the way we want, God is still the True King that will do not wrong and would never twist justice to harm us but to mold us into something for the Kingdom of God!

  39. 32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

There are 2 types of people, the humble, and the proud.

37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

A humble teachable person, will go farther, and accomplish more than a proud person, who is always in trouble for rebelling. When Jesus is looking for someone to use, guess who He can use faster, and uses more often.

Lucifer allowed pride to well in him, and he lost his place.

Next time you are faced with a challenge, ask humbly for answers, He is just and will answer.

  40. NO HAY ORDEN SIN DIOS
*Todo está regido bajo leyes que mantienen un orden*

    * Job 34:13-15

  41. ““For God watches how people live; he sees everything they do. No darkness is thick enough to hide the wicked from his eyes. We don’t set the time when we will come before God in judgment. He brings the mighty to ruin without asking anyone, and he sets up others in their place. He knows what they do, and in the night he overturns and destroys them. He strikes them down because they are wicked, doing it openly for all to see. For they turned away from following him. They have no respect for any of his ways. They cause the poor to cry out, catching God’s attention. He hears the cries of the needy. But if he chooses to remain quiet, who can criticize him? When he hides his face, no one can find him, whether an individual or a nation. He prevents the godless from ruling so they cannot be a snare to the people.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:21-30‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Elihu continued on the theme of God’s perfect justice. Here, he emphasized the idea that nothing man does is hidden from the eyes of God.

  42. Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

  43. Exodus 8:10 (KJV)
And he said, To morrow. And he said, [Be it] according to thy word: that thou mayest know that [there is] none like unto the LORD our God.

    Luke 12:28 (KJV)
If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more [will he clothe] you, O ye of little faith?

  44. “Job said, ‘The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.’”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭34:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I see two analogies in this verse but both have me thinking of eve and the forbidden fruit. She was deceived by the voice she heard with her…ears…then ate the fruit out of curiosity and deception. Job took it all the way back to the beginning. The basic principle had to be something God revealed to him. What jobs saying is your ears are gonna hear what it wants to hear just like you’re gonna swallow what taste good. It’s all how we discern our surroundings. When I pray I pray “God let me HEAR with your EARS let me SEE with your EYES” and from there I feel like everything I take in has to filter through that first in Jesus name!

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God

I feel Job knew this but he kept Searching his heart waiting for tomorrow and listening to all the wrong people talking to his life.

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

This person is amazing, I’m happy that he has wisdom and is bold in God

Job 34:1 Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

  46. We all know that God is good and He will not do wickedness. Things will happen in life and we must understand that it doesn’t give us the right to blame Him. Everything happens for a purpose and sometimes the things that happen will hurt us but no matter what God is still good.

  47. Job said, ‘The ear tests the words it hears just as the mouth distinguishes between foods.’ So let us discern for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.
    Job 34:3‭-‬4 NLT

What are you saying?? If we really pay attention to what people say. It truly is what they really mean. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

  48. Job 34:10 Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness ; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

Psalm 92:15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

God shows Mercy as He Wills
Romans 9:14 What show we say then? Is there and righteousness with God? God for bid. Certainly not!

  49. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.
    Job 34:21 KJV
True!! The only one being hurt( back slidden) is the one trying to hide and continue to live According to their own way.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
    Galatians 6:7

  50. 24 No one can catch it off guard or put a ring in its nose and lead it away.

Dont let no one catch you off guard. When someone asks you “why do you live for God”, be ready to answer. Others are looking at how you serve God, they make judgement of you. So always be in a serving attitude, yet show your Fruit of the Spirit, so others will know you serve God.
