Job 39

Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?

They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.

He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.

The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.

Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

13 Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her’s: her labour is in vain without fear;

17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

18 What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.

19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?

20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.

21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.

22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.

23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.

24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.

25 He saith among the trumpets, Ha, ha; and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.

26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?

27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.

29 From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.

30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

  2. God is ALL POWERFUL, OMNIPRESENT, and OMNIPOTENT!!! He wants Job to make sure he knows that!!! He uses animals as examples for they’re created below men. Men was given dominion over them. So if God is paying attention to all the details of the life of an animal how much more is He paying attention to little insignificant me!!!! Oh HOW GREAT AND MIGHTY ID MY GOD!!!! JESUS IS HIS NAME!!!

  3. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    THE EAGLE

27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

Who commands the EAGLE? The EAGLE is the symbol and emblem of Liberty, Freedom and Power. GOD lists the scores of nature that HE controls, commands and comforts, notable the most intriguing is the EAGLE.

Its nature and uniqueness are unmatched. Yet GOD commands them. Consider the ways of man that we would be similar. Like the eagle, ready to soar at HIS command. Get READY POFW, JESUS is about to give the command to SOAR for HIS Kingdom. We must seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD.

  5. 1. Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

    5. Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

    9. Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

    13. Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

    19. Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?

    27. Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

-In other words, when you can speak these creatures into being and set life in motion with just your voice, then we may have something to discuss.

    Genesis 1:
    20. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

    21. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

    24. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

    25. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

  6. 39:25 He daughter Amon the trumpets, Ha, Ha andHe smells the victory battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
    ——-
Abba Father let us this day wear the shield of faith in such a way.. . Saints let’s smell, And declaire victory because this was giving to us way back. I hear the sound of Victory.

  7. 28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.

    What’s your rock?
One said it to be the God of the rock of his salvation
“The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.”
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22:47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Another had provision from the rock
“Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭17:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Another seen the as a deliverer.
“And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;”
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The rock was also used to sacrifice.
“And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The rock was used for foundation.
“He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Last and most important He is the ROCK
“And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    JESUS is our salvation
    JESUS is the provider
    JESUS is the deliverer
    JESUS was the ultimate sacrifice
JESUS is the only foundation we can stand on and not have it crumble before us.

Get your Rock and keep it!

  8. Job 28-29 [Amp] On the cliff he dwells and remains securely, upon the point of the rock and the stronghold. [29] From there he spies out the prey; and his eyes see it afar off. The eagle make her nest on the cliff and protects your young. Then the eagle will remain there until she will hunt for food to feed your young. The eagle is symbol of freedom and power and liberty. God will give you freedom to hear his voice and his commands and do he will. Get ready to roar out for Ft.Worth.

  9. 26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?

The God that gave the hawk the wisdom to fly south in the winter is the same God that face us the wisdom to choose a life living for HIS kingdom.

This song has been in my spirit the last several days. When we give the Lord the reverence and respect He deserves, everything else will fade away

Hands up, hearts open, wide as the sky
We lift You high, we lift You high
Hands up, hearts open, wide as we cry
God, we lift Your name high
Hands up, hearts open, wide as the sky
We lift You high, we lift You high
Hands up, hearts open, wide as we cry
God, we lift Your name high

    [Verse]
Let all the other names fade away
Let all the other names fade away
    Until there’s only You
Let all the other names fade away
    Jesus, take Your place
    Jesus, take Your place
Let all the other names fade away
Let all the other names fade away
    Until there’s only You
Let all the other names fade away
    Jesus, take Your place
    Jesus, take Your place

  10. The very God who gave the hawk the wisdom to fly south, created us to praise Him. We ere created to live, respect and reverence Him.

This song has been in my heart all week:

Hands up, hearts open, wide as the sky
We lift You high, we lift You high
Hands up, hearts open, wide as we cry
God, we lift Your name high
Hands up, hearts open, wide as the sky
We lift You high, we lift You high
Hands up, hearts open, wide as we cry
God, we lift Your name high

    [Verse]
Let all the other names fade away
Let all the other names fade away
    Until there’s only You
Let all the other names fade away
    Jesus, take Your place
    Jesus, take Your place
Let all the other names fade away
Let all the other names fade away
    Until there’s only You
Let all the other names fade away
    Jesus, take Your place
    Jesus, take Your place

  11. 9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

The Unicorn referenced here is thought to be like the early rhino. With that thought, Who would trust a over sized rhino to plow his field, or carry his seed to the barn? How would you try to keep such an animal?

Here God is getting Job’s attention. Many times I have to think, “What does Jesus have to do to get my attention?”

  12. iLove the Kingdom

In this chapter we find many principles from nature that describes the creative power of God Almighty. From these principles, God describes his own nature as the One who gave these creatures their special abilities. If we could only see ourselves in this equation. We are made in the very image of God and should walk according thereof.

  13. God is letting job know that he is the one and only God. Telling him that he sees all and knows all. He commands animals, and gives them wisdom. He can also take wisdom away from them. God is good all the time.

  14. “It laughs at fear and is unafraid. It does not run from the sword.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭39:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

HA HA HA HA!! If you’re on the winning team, there’s no reason to fear because God is fighting for you! Claim your victory and rejoice!

  15. 28 It lives on the cliffs, making its home on a distant, rocky crag. 29 From there it hunts its prey, keeping watch with piercing eyes.

Yes, the enemy is watching you from high above. It sees what you are doing. So does God, watching from high above. God sees your every move, every prayer, every trial your going through, every sorrow, sees your joy, sees your peace, etc. So remember eyes are upon you daily, whether its the enemy or God.

  16. 26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?
27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

What can we do on our own? Nothing. Where have we gained any knowledge except by God? Nowhere. Every strength we have and all we are able to do and know, is by God. He has made us very powerful creatures and has blessed us with Dominion over the earth. Something we should always keep in the forefront of our minds is the acknowledgement that it is but the Lord has given us.

  17. 5 “Who has let the wild donkey go free? Who has taken off the ropes which held the fast donkey?

11 Will you trust in him because he is very strong, and leave your work to him?

Don’t trust a donkey more than you would trust God.

  18. 26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?

27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

Job was powerless to explain the eagle, much less command it.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Even with dominion over every creature, we still do not have the power to control nor sustain them; that is still in the hands of God.

If we cannot control them, how could we expect to control the mysteries of life? That too is all in the hands of God.

  19. “Will the wild ox consent to being tamed? Will it spend the night in your stall? Can you hitch a wild ox to a plow? Will it plow a field for you? Given its strength, can you trust it? Can you leave and trust the ox to do your work? Can you rely on it to bring home your grain and deliver it to your threshing floor?
    Job 39:9‭-‬12 NLT

The Lord developed the ox to be trained, but only with a light yoke to help guide him and the instruction of his master can he truly be of use. An ox cannot be left to his own devises or he will retract back into a wild mentality and can be more harm than good.

When we lay down the heavy toke of burden from this life and take His yoke upon us we are geared with the guidance needed to face this world. He is there as our Master, instructing and counseling is each step of the way. Thank you, Jesus.

  20. 14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

Where are you leaving your things? These applies to earthly matters as well as spiritual. The Lord has blessed us with gifts and materialistic things and it will only last as long as we care for it. Same goes for the gifts and talents we have been blessed with. Even so much more for the new babes in the Kingdom.

Are we leaving them in places that they may be crushed in situations or that a wild beast may destroy them?

I pray we not only that we Seek Ye FIRST the Kingdom, but for direction for the things we are taking care of!

  21. 6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.

7 He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.

8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.

9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

  22. ““The ostrich flaps her wings grandly, but they are no match for the feathers of the stork. She lays her eggs on top of the earth, letting them be warmed in the dust. She doesn’t worry that a foot might crush them or a wild animal might destroy them. She is harsh toward her young, as if they were not her own. She doesn’t care if they die. For God has deprived her of wisdom. He has given her no understanding.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭39:13-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God deprived animals of wisdom and understanding but He did not deprive you of it. We are blessed beyond measure and need to realize that we have the opportunity to gain wisdom and the knowledge to understand some of us need to start acting like we have one or the other or both. Be blessed today

  23. In this chapter he talks to job about how he knows what the animals are doing things and he bows how there gonna do it where and when and this is another reminder that god knows what he doing and what you are

  24. There has to be order in God’s kingdom. We cannot just do what we think is right, but we must do right according to God’s word. It is in following his word that brings us out of tough situations. We must do what we can to throw aside self and put God first.

  25. Job 39 GNB

14The ostrich leaves her eggs on the ground

for the heat in the soil to warm them.

15She is unaware that a foot may crush them

or a wild animal break them.

16She acts as if the eggs were not hers,

and is unconcerned that her efforts were wasted.

17It was I who made her foolish

and did not give her wisdom.

18But when she begins to run,

she can laugh at any horse and rider.

“When ostriches sense danger, they temporarily abandon their eggs or chicks.

Does this imply that an ostrich lack mother instincts?

    By no means.

Actually, the seeming neglect of the ostrich works for its preservation.

Those eggs carelessly left outside a nest are sometimes needed to feed new chicks.

When an ostrich abandons its eggs or chicks, this is mean’t to distract enemies.

Sometimes ostriches display amazing bravery when doing this. ‘

I questioned why would God have put this instinct into the ostrich until I took a look at an explanation.

After reading it I was marveled at God s sovereign authority and His wisdom. As Job has asked so many questions through out this chapter just God speaking about nature life itself gives us such a clear understanding. We ask so many questions when going through the trials of life . Yet there is a reason a purpose. We would question the ostrich and even judge that she had abandoned for her own benefit but in reality it was for their protection. God even called it foolish but there was a reason . Then the strength He gave her legs to run stronger than a horse ! I have contemplated the many trials of life but have found that each brings me to a place where I’ve never been before.
God has never left me He is carefully watching but He continues to equip with strength. Are we too being protected when we feel God is not near? Is it His way of causing us to draw closer to Him . Is this His way of distracting the enemy from us. His ways are a mystery but His Love is the key to solve it.

How Great is Our God !
    He has a plan
We are in His hands !

  26. 14-15 She lays her eggs on the ground and lets them warm in the sand, unmindful that a foot may crush them, that some wild animal may trample them.
22 It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; it does not shy away from the sword.
24 In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground; it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
26 “Does the hawk take flight by your wisdom and spread its wings toward the south?

Don’t be an ostrich, so careless about new souls coming and to go do you’re own thing. We must be as a hawk and take Gods wisdom, to let go of our will to let him take control of the direction he has us to go. We must also stand strong and not fear the battle that lies ahead because we already have the victory with God in our side! And when that trumpet sounds we can only wait as no one will be able to stand still as our God comes!

  27. 22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.

  28. 27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?
28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.
29 From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.
30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.

“Was it through your know-how that the hawk learned to fly, soaring effortlessly on thermal updrafts? Did you command the eagle’s flight, and teach her to build her nest in the heights, Perfectly at home on the high cliff face, invulnerable on pinnacle and crag? From her perch she searches for prey, spies it at a great distance. Her young gorge themselves on carrion; wherever there’s a roadkill, you’ll see her circling.”
    Job 39:26‭-‬30 MSG

Always remember who is truly in control and who cammands the earth and all the creatures!

  29. ““Is it your wisdom that makes the hawk soar and spread its wings toward the south? Is it at your command that the eagle rises to the heights to make its nest?”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭39:26-27

Still God is challenging Job on his wisdom and his ignorant questions. Is it your wisdom? Your so smart with your question answer mine!?

  30. 13Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?
14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,
15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
    16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her’s: her labour is in vain without fear;
17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

    Crushing your blessing.

We all at one point in time have had blessings. And it is unfortnate how some crush the blessing under themselves. We are pregnant with a blessing and we give birth to it to allow God to work it. However we can crush it under our feet when we say look what I did, and see what i have created. And when the enemy cones to try to destroy it, it causes confusion and chaos to where if we are not careful we will destroy our very blessing, or some may even hide their face in the sand to “get away” from the danger. Dont kill your own blessing, out of fear and confusion. Stand firm over your blessing, protect it, and fight for it. Stay focused on the task at hand. Stay true to yourself and to God. Seek after His Kingdom, because all that are in it are safe.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  31. 27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

The symbol of the eagle is of hope and strength in Christianity. But in Islam it represents warlike ferocity, nobility, and dominion. We are looking at the power of God when looking at the eagle. I am reminded that scripture tells us that in Isaiah 40:31 –

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I am reminded of a story that I read about an eagle fighting the snake-

The Eagle does not fight the snake on the ground.

It picks it up into the sky and changes the battle ground, and then it releases the snake into the sky.

The snake has no stamina, no power and no balance in the air. It is useless, weak and vulnerable unlike on the ground where it is powerful wise and deadly.

Take your fight into the spiritual realm by praying and when you are in the spiritual realm God takes over your battles.

Don’t fight the enemy in his comfort zone, change the battle grounds like the Eagle and let God take charge through your earnest prayer.

You’ll be assured of clean victory.

We must be prepared for the battle to face every enemy that is, and will come against the church in this last days.

    I love the kingdom!

  32. 6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.

In the midst of your wilderness, in the midst of the the barren fields God can move and God can multiply in the midst of it.

  33. 1 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

  34. 26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?

27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?

28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.

  35. “Its young gulp down blood. Where there’s a carcass, there you’ll find it.””
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭39:30‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    https://www.bible.com/116/job.39.30.nlt

Jesus! I pray that you would keep me away from the Carcass of sin. Jesus I need you to revive me within so I don’t stink. In our lives we can either sin and stink or do the work of God and live right. We need the blood of Jesus to be poured over our lives.

  36. God is the one who created everything and the almighty he is the one and the only one and for no one to compare him to anything else.

  37. 7 He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.

8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.

Don’t let other peoples bad attitude mess up your spirit.

The donkey ignored the city , therefore the people and attitudes within didn’t affect him.

Outreach is important but you have to protect your mind and your spirit, while still understanding what people are going through. We have to walk a tightrope of being in the world but not of the world, while still understanding what the people of the world are going through. The donkey only worries for his own condition, which puts us in a unique position. We get to help in the process of pulling people from the “city” to the position of the donkey and eventually they get to help with the same, if they so choose.

  38. 9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

12 Wilt thou believe him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy barn?

13 Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

Only God can command the animals.

  39. Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off. Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she.
    Job 39:27‭-‬30 KJV

These are facts only the Creator would know about His creation. Now, we can Google such things and learn from other men’s years of study but God knows it all and can rattle it off without having to look it up. I looked up how eagles build their nests in cliffs of the rock or the tallest of trees and how they can see a small rabbit from 3miles away and that they sometimes eat dead things. If the Creator knows so much about His creation, doesn’t it make sense that the best way to live for mankind can be found in His instruction manual, the Bible???

  40. ”Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?”

There are so many great things about eagles but the fact that their place of rest is high. We must remember that God is our place of rest. We must look on high to Him in all times of need.

  41. God continues with the questions to answerJobs ignorance continues to prove that ignorance can put you in bad positions in life

11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

  42. 22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.

There is no reason for us to be scared of anything that comes our way, beacuse when we have god we have power over satan and any other evil that may atttempt to mislead us. We should Rejoice that god is willing to help us and clear us from our sins.

  43. Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?

3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

4 Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

This is talking to me and is getting in my mind because it is God who made all the animals do what they did. So what got this in my mind was that, if he can get those animals to do things for his kingdom then he can get us to do things in his presents.

  44. 28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place.

We have to obey our mother and father as it says in the Bible and as God tells us to and if we do he is going to help us even more than what we wanted cuz God is our king and he can bless us Mightly and gracefully cuz God is the king of Kings and the Lord of Lord’s.

  45. 1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?

3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

4 Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.

7 He scorneth the multitude of the city, neither regardeth he the crying of the driver.

8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.

9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?

    16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her’s: her labour is in vain without fear;

29 From thence she seeketh the prey, and her has placed us where he wants us eyes behold afar off.

30 Her young ones also suck up blood: and where the slain are, there is she

God has put us where he wants us and he knows what he is doing

  46. We know him today through his word and through the testimonies of what he has done for us and others. Paul wrote it this way in Romans 11:34-36 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counseller? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

  47. 14 Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,
15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.
    16 She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not her’s: her labour is in vain without fear;

Sounds like he is talking about the generations now a days that leave their children in harm’s way!!! Her labour is in vain UNTIL she meets JESUS!!! WE NEED MORE OF JESUS IN THIS WORLD!!! I NEED MORE OF YOU JESUS!!! LORD lead us to them. In JESUS NAME!!!

  48. They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

4 Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwellings.

  49. “Do you give the horse its strength
or clothe its neck with a flowing mane?

Who are we to question God? When we can’t even answer or comprehend what He does. Our brains sometimes don’t capture how truly BIG God is till you take a step back, analyze, read these chapters and all I can say is WOW! I sure do serve a mighty God. No matter the problem, God is by our side and knows every thing we are feeling and need. No matter the storm He is there!!!

  50. “Do you know when the wild goats give birth? Have you watched as deer are born in the wild? Do you know how many months they carry their young? Are you aware of the time of their delivery?
For God has deprived her of wisdom. He has given her no understanding.
    Job 39:1‭-‬2‭, 17 NLT

I feel like God is very politely saying, “Do you know how stupid you sound questioning Me?”

It is God who gives wisdom or withholds it; we only have what wisdom He allows. Yet, we often act as though He can’t run our lives without our input and instructions. I don’t know how many times I’ve cried out in frustrated prayer, saying, “God, You need to…!”

How ridiculous to think that I know what The Almighty needs to do or even what the best overall solution is to any problem I might face. How much better it would be for me to simply give thanks and trust in Him.

Don’t I know that He is good? Don’t I realize by now that He will never leave or forsake me? Why do I keep questioning and resisting, keep trying to force this life of mine into the mold that I have designed for it? Then, when the mold shatters and everything spills out in an ooey-gooey mess all over the place, I want to act as if He somehow let me down.

How much more peace there is in trusting Him, in allowing life to follow the plan He designed. Now… if I could only wrap my head around that and keep silent when I don’t understand…

  51. ““Do you know when the wild goats give birth? Have you watched as deer are born in the wild? Do you know how many months they carry their young? Are you aware of the time of their delivery? They crouch down to give birth to their young and deliver their offspring.

“The ostrich flaps her wings grandly, but they are no match for the feathers of the stork. She lays her eggs on top of the earth, letting them be warmed in the dust. She doesn’t worry that a foot might crush them or a wild animal might destroy them. She is harsh toward her young, as if they were not her own. She doesn’t care if they die. For God has deprived her of wisdom. He has given her no understanding. But whenever she jumps up to run, she passes the swiftest horse with its rider.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭39:1-3, 13-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Here, God reminded Job that God is the dispenser of wisdom; He gives or withholds as pleases Him.

  52. Job 39:27-28 (ESV)
    27) Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up and makes his nest on high?
    28) On the ROCK he dwells and makes his home, on the rocky crag and STRONGHOLD.

    2 Samuel 22:2-3 (ESV)
    2) He said, the LORD is my ROCK and my fortress and my deliverer,
    3) My God, my ROCK, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my STRONGHOLD and my refuge, my savior;…

JESUS is our ROCK and STRONGHOLD and soooo much more!
On CHRIST the SOLID ROCK I STAND, all other ground is sinking sand.

  53. JOB 39

  54. “She lays her eggs on top of the earth, letting them be warmed in the dust. She doesn’t worry that a foot might crush them or a wild animal might destroy them. She is harsh toward her young, as if they were not her own. She doesn’t care if they die. For God has deprived her of wisdom. He has given her no understanding.”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭39:14-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Lord, I need wisdom and understanding. I must be a disciple maker. Give me wisdom and understanding to care for the harvest you have sent to us, that we may fulfill the Great Commission.

  55. i think god is still talking to job about the nature of the world and asks if he can even control all of this.

  56. 26 hawks fly by with wisdom and try to eat the eggs she had made but she didn’t care about her eggs so she didn’t care about nothing only about God.

  57. Was it you, Job, who made horses so strong and gave them their flowing manes? Did you make them leap like locusts and frighten people with their snorting? They eagerly paw the ground in the valley; they rush into battle with all their strength. They do not know the meaning of fear, and no sword can turn them back. The weapons which their riders carry rattle and flash in the sun. Trembling with excitement, the horses race ahead; when the trumpet blows, they can’t stand still. At each blast of the trumpet they snort; they can smell a battle before they get near, and they hear the officers shouting commands.
    Job 39:19‭-‬25 GNB

  58. Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
    Job 39:19 KJV

There is no one like Jesus. No one before him, no one above him, and no one beside him.

    Lord, we declare
    Who can compare?
    Who would even dare?
‘Cause there is no one like You
There is no one like You
-Who is Like the Lord by Israel & New Breed

  59. 1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?

3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.

4 Their young ones are in good liking, they grow up with corn; they go forth, and return not unto them.

5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?

And God saw it was good…

In this chapter, God continues to describe all he does and has created. This reminded me of Genesis in the beginning of creation. After he had created something; “and God saw that it was good…” sometimes we dont understand all that God is doing or allowing in our lives. Situations seem to not make any sense. Yet in the midst of it l He is doing something. And God saw that it was good?? You may ask as you are going through it, but what you cant see is the end result what it is creating in you. We must remember that our thoughts are not his thoughts. And we may underestimate ourselves and our strengths and our worth. Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for good to those who love God, thoe who have been called according to his purpose. And God saw that it was good. He is creating something out of your situation and soon enough you will see it.

  60. In this chapter, there were so many examples of different things that we could apply into our lives. Sometimes you may see someone struggling and you just want to shack them or say what is wrong with you; but, instead of assuming what the problem may be…..pray for them. God created ALL things and he knows what they need. Watch your step and ask God to use you, give you the words and give you the wisdom to help them.

  61. God knows what he’s doing and he shows that in this chapter and he knows more than anyone whether you want to think that or not god has powers over you and has mercy

  62. 9 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib?
10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

So was there an actual unicorn at one time. Is it just extinct now or maybe it’s not the same idea we think of what a unicorn is but maybe something totally different. Maybe it’s not a horse with a horn but maybe a different animal?? He asks these questions about a unicorn but, it’s not something we could answer because we don’t know what he’s talking about. A question I will ask in Heaven, along with what is gopher wood.
