Genesis 30

And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her.

And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in unto her.

And Bilhah conceived, and bare Jacob a son.

And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan.

And Bilhah Rachel’s maid conceived again, and bare Jacob a second son.

And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.

When Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife.

10 And Zilpah Leah’s maid bare Jacob a son.

11 And Leah said, A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad.

12 And Zilpah Leah’s maid bare Jacob a second son.

13 And Leah said, Happy am I, for the daughters will call me blessed: and she called his name Asher.

14 And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son’s mandrakes.

15 And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son’s mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son’s mandrakes.

16 And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son’s mandrakes. And he lay with her that night.

17 And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.

18 And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.

19 And Leah conceived again, and bare Jacob the sixth son.

20 And Leah said, God hath endued me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.

21 And afterwards she bare a daughter, and called her name Dinah.

22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

23 And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:

24 And she called his name Joseph; and said, The Lord shall add to me another son.

25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.

26 Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee.

27 And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake.

28 And he said, Appoint me thy wages, and I will give it.

29 And he said unto him, Thou knowest how I have served thee, and how thy cattle was with me.

30 For it was little which thou hadst before I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the Lord hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?

31 And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock.

32 I will pass through all thy flock to day, removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle, and all the brown cattle among the sheep, and the spotted and speckled among the goats: and of such shall be my hire.

33 So shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my hire before thy face: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be counted stolen with me.

34 And Laban said, Behold, I would it might be according to thy word.

35 And he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand of his sons.

36 And he set three days’ journey betwixt himself and Jacob: and Jacob fed the rest of Laban’s flocks.

37 And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.

38 And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.

39 And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

40 And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban’s cattle.

41 And it came to pass, whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods.

42 But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.

43 And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

  1. 31 And he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will again feed and keep thy flock.

  2. Verse 22 AMP “Then God remembered [the prayers of] Rachel, and God thought of her and opened her womb [so that she would conceive].” God hears our prayers and will answer in his time and in his manner. It may not be when we think it should be; but, my God knows all things and he knows when you really need it not when we want it. In God’s timing he will open that door for your answer to be birthed.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 AMP “be unceasing and persistent in prayer;”.

  3. 27 And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake.

God will bless you for someone else’s purpose. Dont take it for granted a blessing is a blessing and sherish it.

  4. 37 And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.

38 And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.

39 And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

Biologically speaking, it doesnt make sense in the natural how these goats, sheep and cattle were able to conceive different colored offspring based off a different colored red they say, but what it does day is that Jacob spoke the word in faith. He believed what God told him to do a d that his fruit would be multiplied by his act of faith and it was.

Competition bwtween sisters just so that they can feel loved. Their eyes and hearts had other plans when in fact they should’ve been set on God. So much tension I’m sure it was draining and not worth it. God had a plan and he kept working even when they didn’t see it.

The hand of the Lord was upon Jacob the whole time. When walking in obedience the hand will always be on you. It’s all for the Glory of the Lord too. We can not discredit God for giving us wisdom in times such as wisdom Jacob has with breeding all this live stock. That’s God wisdom! That’s God smarts! I often find myself learning things fast but it’s all Jesus and for his glory. It’s so I can glorify him and lift him up amongst the people. We’re here on this green earth to exalt Christ. That should be our everyday goal and watch God move when we lift him up.

  7. Genesis 30 : 22-23 [Amp] Then God remembered Rachel and answered her pleading and made it possible for her pleading and made it possible for her to have children.
[23] And [ now for the first time] she became pregnant and bore a son; and she said, God has taken away my reproach, disgrace, and humiliation. And his name was Joseph. God hears our prayers and answer them in his time and his manner. Thank you Jesus.

  8. In the future, when you check on the animals you have given me as my wages, you’ll see that I have been honest. If you find in my flock any goats without speckles or spots, or any sheep that are not black, you will know that I have stolen them from you.” But that very day Laban went out and removed the male goats that were streaked and spotted, all the female goats that were speckled and spotted or had white patches, and all the black sheep. He placed them in the care of his own sons, Then he placed these peeled branches in the watering troughs where the flocks came to drink, for that was where they mated. Jacob separated those lambs from Laban’s flock. And at mating time he turned the flock to face Laban’s animals that were streaked or black. This is how he built his own flock instead of increasing Laban’s. Whenever the stronger females were ready to mate, Jacob would place the peeled branches in the watering troughs in front of them. Then they would mate in front of the branches. But he didn’t do this with the weaker ones, so the weaker lambs belonged to Laban, and the stronger ones were Jacob’s.

A family full of deception will likely be destroyed. Laban and Jacob can never truly have a good relationship whist they indulge in their own selfish whims. Only through sacrifice, commitment, and selflessness can a relationship blossom and grow.

  9. 8 And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.

39 And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

Jacob is back to his trickery making sure that the offsprings are speckled or brown so his herd grew larger than Laban’s. I guess this is what Matthew 10:16 could be apply: Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Labán tricked him with Leah and got 7 more years of service out of Jacob and Jacob paid him in the same way by getting his wages to increase greatly. We must be extremely careful of the wolves around us for they may look like sheep but they’re howling wolves inside, trying to rare us apart. That’s when the Holy Ghost comes to help us be able to discern what is what. Thank you Jesus for the Holy Ghost!!!

  10. 1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

The urgency in Rachel’s request is the same that we must feel in the church. The first commandment God gave Adam and Eve was to be fruitful and multiply. To Bear children and they continue growing. Rachel knew this was a part of her DNA was to Bear children otherwise she had nothing. The church only exists today to reach for souls. We have no greater mission and no other calling. Everything that we do must revolve around building the church up and multiplying it. The church must be fruitful and multiply. The more we become intimate with God the more we bear the fruit of the Spirit which is what this world is hungry for deep down. The church must cry out give us children or else we die

  11. “When Rachel saw that she was not bearing Jacob any children, she became jealous of her sister. So she said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I’ll die!” Jacob became angry with her and said, “Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?” Then she said, “Here is Bilhah, my servant. Sleep with her so that she can bear children for me and I too can build a family through her.””
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭30:1-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Our human nature tells us to put matters into our own hands when things aren’t going the way we expect them to. We try to fix what we believe is broken. But who are we to intervene? Who are we to step in and “fix” things or move them along? God has a plan, we just need to be patient and allow him to move when he is ready.

It’s our nature to fix what we believe is broken.

What Rachel didn’t take into account was by giving Jacob her servant she was really taking time away from her husband which they could be spending together but instead, Jacob now has to

  12. The very thing that I take from this chapter is simply the blessings of God may take time to come to you. We have to be sure that we don’t limit God and his power in our time and in our surroundings. Rachael was longing for a son and it was quite a while that God opened her womb and she gave birth. Sometimes the hatred and bitterness in our heart that will become evident because it will detour the blessings and the anointing of God. We have to seek him first and allow the timing of God to be in his control and not our.

Our only limitation that God has is the one we put on him. We do not limit God but what we don’t have, we only limit God but what we are not willing to give. Take off the limitations and let God take over.

Seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness!

  13. Genesis 30

1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

2 And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

3 And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her.

  14. 43 And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

Even though he had all the drama, envy and bickering from the wives he still managed to do his job and multiply AND THAT RIGHT THERE HAD TO BE GOD AND ONLY GOD!!! GOD blessed him exceedingly!!!

  15. Genesis 30 verses 1-3
    1. So Rachel saw that Jacob had no children so Rachel said to Jacob Let’s have Kids.
    2. So Rachel and Jacob’s Anger was Kindled Against and In Jesus; House Who has held the Fruit of the Womb.
3.So Bilhah said Behold my Maid that she shall get on her knees and also have Kids

  16. And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son’s mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son’s mandrakes. And Jacob came out of the field in the evening, and Leah went out to meet him, and said, Thou must come in unto me; for surely I have hired thee with my son’s mandrakes. And he lay with her that night. And God hearkened unto Leah, and she conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.

It seems as though Leah and Rachel were competing with one another, Leah knew that Jacob loved Rachel more and she was trying hard to win him over, to the extent of buying him with mandrake which are a plant that help aide in fertility!

  17. Genesis 30
Envy strife deceit bitterness. Sibling rivalry competition distressed marriage. What a terrible way to live. This family was messed up big time. Sound familiar. I do not believe there is a perfect family anywhere. The only perfect family was in the begin with Adam and Eve and God. Then even that ended because of one thing . Choice ! Thus sin entered the world . Yet God in His sovereign ways is so merciful. Right in the midst of chaos he sees the desire of Rachel to have a child and in His mercy He blesses her.
I’ve seen it time after time. God takes what is so messed up and brings a beautiful healing and families are reunited. Quarrels ceases. It’s a beautiful thing to see what God can do in the midst of chaos. This is why He came for redemption to put families back in the rightful order He had ordained. Don’t give up even when you feel life is hopeless and you think your family has no hope. There is a God who wants to bring complete healing. There is nothing too big or too small that God is not able to repair. Perfect no . Harmony yes. We serve an awesome God who hears your hearts cry. Chaos can turn around through the miraculous love and mercy of God. Thank you Jesus for the care you give and prayers answered even in the midst of messes. How good and gracious You are.
We cannot ignore the chaos but bring it to God. Resolving and restoring what can be set in order.

    Ephesians 2:14
    Contemporary English Version
Christ has made peace between Jews and Gentiles, and he has united us by breaking down the wall of hatred that separated us. Christ gave his own body

  18. AMP 2 Then God remembered [the prayers of] Rachel, and God thought of her and opened her womb [so that she would conceive]. 23 So she conceived and gave birth to a son; and she said, “God has taken away my disgrace and humiliation.” 24 She named him Joseph (may He add) and said, “May the Lord add to me another son.”

Never give up on prayers that are prayed but not yet answered. God has perfect timing, and sees all from beginning to end. Just because an answer has not come in what we feel like it’s time, does not mean that God has said no. It could mean that God has said wait.

I’m sure in Rachel’s eyes the waiting and watching of her sister Leah, and the maidservants conceiving, and her inability brought sadness to her, and caused her to think herself unworthy that God would not answer her, but we must remember that God does all things well. He allowed her infertility for a season for a reason, perhaps to mold and shape something within her. Everything God does or doesn’t do has a reason, and we as His creation must remember that all things work together for our good. We may not understand, we may question , and it may be hard emotionally on us in the waiting, but if we will wait for God’s timing, it will work out.

We must not rush God, or take matter into our own hands, or we will end of with “wanna be” promises and not the actual promise/answer from God. Patience is a virtue, and we must practice patience even with God.

  19. 22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

“And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;”
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭8:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.”
    ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭1:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭105:42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It can often seem that God has forgotten us when we don’t get the answer to our prayers when we want them. But we must remember that God has a plan and it will come to pass on His timing and not ours.

I believe there are some prayers being remembered even now.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  20. Finally, God remembered Rachel—he answered her prayer by giving her a son. “God has taken away my disgrace,” she said. “I’ll name the boy Joseph, and I’ll pray that the Lord will give me another son.”
    Genesis 30:22‭-‬24 CEV

When we wholeheartedly wait on the LORD, you’ll find that He is faithful at all times!! We need to learn how to put our emotions aside and not jump the gun. Don’t allow yourself to be caught up with the spirit of jealousy, it will allow your mind to think the craziest things. It also makes you lose your true identity!!
Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
    Philippians 4:6 CEV

  21. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    THE BURDEN OF BARRENESS

1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

My prayer today is that this Kingdom principal and burden will constrain us to consider the lost of our family, friends and city. That each of us will feel the spiritual pull and compell to be burdened to share the glorious gospel of JESUS with those that do not know HIM.

JESUS refers to the New Birth and Born Again as those of us that have been BORN into HIS Kingdom. As we seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD it is natural for us to desire for, seek to and act on adding to The Kingdom of GOD.

This is a type of giving birth to Spiritual children, they receive the breath of GOD but the church is the body that carries them. Lets be intentional today about inviting people to church and introducing them to our King JESUS.

  22. 39 And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

You can’t stop what God’s doing and, unless you sit back and allow someone to, no one can steal your blessings either. Stay faithful and serve obediently and God will surely bless you!

  23. 1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.
2 And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

It is all too common to find jealousy among family members, whether it is sisters or brothers in our family or church! Jealousy is a terrible bitter state of mind to be in and It is no surprise that the word of God addresses it. We need the help of the Lord to overcome it! We must count our OWN blessings and be happy for the blessings of others. The Lord knows what you have need of and will supply all your need according to his riches- pray for other’s needs and he will supply yours.

  24. “When Rachel saw that she conceived no children for Jacob, she envied her sister, and said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I will die.” Then Jacob became furious with Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, who has denied you children?” She said, “Here, take my maid Bilhah and go in to her; and [when the baby comes] she shall deliver it [while sitting] on my knees, so that by her I may also have children [to count as my own].” So she gave him Bilhah her maid as a [ secondary] wife, and Jacob went in to her.”
    ‭‭GENESIS‬ ‭30:1-4

Despite Rachel’s great beauty, she also was near despair. No doubt Leah often said, “If I only had my sister’s beauty and the love of my husband, I would be happy.” No doubt Rachel often said, “If I only had sons like my sister, I would be happy.” Beautiful or plain, we all have our problems.

  25. iLove the Kingdom
    🤦‍♂️
Poor Jacob, just trying to work in the fields and these women fighting for him and his father in law fighting for him. Can’t the poor lil feller just get some peace and quiet. He didn’t ask for all the attention, he’s just minding his own business and those wives of his gives him two more wives. To make a long story short, the priesthood and the messiah will come from the weak eyed girl, but the one who God will use to bring deliverance is from Rachel…

  26. “And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:”
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭30:22-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

My prayer today is that God would remember the POFW. All the prayers written on the walls and ground of the building. The word of Bro Ewing still ring in my ears “You haven’t see nothing yet.” I know God has so much more for POFW! We won’t stop til the whole world knows!

  27. 42 But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban’s, and the stronger Jacob’s.
43 And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

    Holding out for your promise.

God has not forgotten you. He is true to His Word and His Kingdom. Take hold of the promises of God and know that you are His Child. Seek after Him, and obey His Commandments. Seek after His Kingdom and work towards the prize of it. Know that you are not alone and that you are blessed.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  28. 43 And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

Our God is always looking for ways to bless us. When we serve Him and prove our dedication and loyalty to Him he will make our increase greater, abundantly and exceedingly. May the Lord bless the POFW family so that we are increased exceedingly, and had much cattle(food), and maidservants(income), and menservants, and camels (transportation), and asses(determination).

  29. 25 And it came to pass, when Rachel had born Joseph, that Jacob said unto Laban, Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.

This reminds me that even when we allow our flesh to rule over our spirit, if we will acknowledge our disobedience, God can still turn our “mess” into a blessing of we will be obedient

  30. 22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

There are times in our lives when and where we think god has forgotten us and left us but in fact he’ll never leave us nor forsake us. In times like that we must press on through the doubt and continue to praise him no matter what.

  31. 30:6 And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son, therefore called she his name Dan.
    ——
Ok, so she was upset because her sister was having babies and she was not, it says Rachel envied her sister….
    Those are pretty harsh feelings….
Did she desire with all of her heart to bear children at that point? Was she ready for that? I do t know…
But my feeling is: we’d better be careful with what we ask from God in a stubborn state.

  32. 42 But he didn’t do this with the weaker ones, so the weaker lambs belonged to Laban, and the stronger ones were Jacob’s. 43 As a result, Jacob became very wealthy, with large flocks of sheep and goats, female and male servants, and many camels and donkeys.

Through hard work and time, that’s how one can become successful. Nothing will be given to you, you have to go earn it. It won’t be easy, but in the long run it will be very satisfying.

  33. 1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

Instead of Rachel complaining to Jacob, imagine if she would have taken it to Jesus! Praising Him in advance for the son to come!

  34. Genesis 30:1-2 & 22-23a (AMP)
    1) When Rachel saw that she conceived no children for Jacob, she envied her sister, and said to Jacob, Give me children, or else I will die.
    2) Then Jacob became furious with Rachel, and he said, Am I in the place of God, who has denied you children?

    22) Then God remembered (the prayers of) Rachel, and God thought of her and opened her womb (so that she would conceive).
    23) So she conceived and gave birth to a son;…

We are not to put our trust in man, in whom there is no help
    BUT
We are to put our trust in God, and He will bring it to pass.

  35. And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.

When we invest in the kingdom surely shall we nor multiply in the fruits that we sowed.so if sowed discord then we shall receive brokenness.but if we multiplied and sowed unity and prayer then that is what we shall receive.

  36. God is able to take what seems impossible and make it possible. We should never doubt what God is able to do. Let’s take the authority God has given us and push away every devil. For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power love and a sound mind.

  37. 1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

    Galatians 5:26 ESV
Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

  38. 22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

    When God remembers!

When God’s thought or favor focuses in on us and our situation things begin to change. God remembered that her beauty couldn’t cover her pain. She wanted children.

Just because it seems like someone is in a beautiful situation doesn’t mean they do not have a need. Yet when we capture the attention of God He will come through.

  39. Rachel was jealous of her sister, beachside she had more babies than her. One of Rachel’s and Jacobs girl servents she said to be with Job

  40. 1 And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

Again jealousy has set in. Rachel was jealous because her blessing had not come yet. Rachel instead of waiting on God to move she decides to put matters in her own hand. We as Christians are the same way. We see someone else getting blessed and when we aren’t getting blessed we think because things aren’t being done in the right way. We then have to put our sticky fingers in it and cause a mess then become angry with god. Gods timing is not our timing. If we would just learn to take a step back and be patient god will work. Stop putting a timeline on God’s plan for you. Don’t compare your situation with someone else’s. Step back & watch god work.

  41. And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
    Genesis 30:22 KJV

God doesn’t wotk on our time but His.He truly is an ontime God

  42. Genesis 30

vs 1-24 There was such an envy and jealousy between Leah and Rachel, that it became a contest as to who could bear sons to Isaac. Each was willing to sacrifice her handmaiden to become a wife of Isaac in order to bear sons for both of them. Finally Rachel herself conceived, and the strife seemed to subside at the birth of Joseph.

  43. but if the animals were weak, he would not place them there. So the weak animals went to Laban and the strong ones to Jacob. In this way the man grew exceedingly prosperous and came to own large flocks, and female and male servants, and camels and donkeys.
    Genesis 30:42-43

Jacob was smart and got diligent about his business so he started making his wealth increase.

  44. 8 And Rachel said, With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.

    (Israelite Tribe of Naphtali)
Naphtali, one of the 12 tribes that in biblical times constituted the people of Israel who later became the Jewish people. The tribe was named after the younger of two sons born to Jacob and Bilhah, a maidservant of Jacob’s second wife, Rachel. After Joshua led the people of Israel into the Promised Land, he divided the new territory among the 12 tribes, assigning a region northwest of the Sea of Galilee to the tribe of Naphtali.
