Genesis 36

Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

And Bashemath Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;

And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.

And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:

10 These are the names of Esau’s sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.

11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau’s wife.

13 And these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau’s wife.

14 And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

15 These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,

16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau’s son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau’s wife.

18 And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau’s wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.

19 These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their dukes.

20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,

21 And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

22 And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan’s sister was Timna.

23 And the children of Shobal were these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.

24 And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

25 And the children of Anah were these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

26 And these are the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

27 The children of Ezer are these; Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.

28 The children of Dishan are these; Uz, and Aran.

29 These are the dukes that came of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,

30 Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.

31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

32 And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

33 And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.

35 And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

37 And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

38 And Saul died, and Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

39 And Baalhanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

40 And these are the names of the dukes that came of Esau, according to their families, after their places, by their names; duke Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,

41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these be the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: he is Esau the father of the Edomites.

  1. God’s interest in all of the people and not simply his covenant family is clearly demonstrated in this chapter. With this perspective one can understand that God sought bless all of the people, which had been confirmed in Genesis 12:1 when blessings were confered to ” all of the families of the earth”.
Futhermore the list of family progression in the generation of Esau laid the foundation of the generations of Jacob. This development of the family tree shows us how Jesus’s lineage develope from a latter branch of the family tree.
Moreover, one can gleen that Esau’s intermarriage with the Canaanites joined them togeather. The fact that marriage between tribes pulls togeather opposing qualities into a compromise shows us the reason God refused the Israelites any foreign marriages.

  2. 2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

If we remember correctly Esau marry them out of resentment and as an act of disobedience to Isaac who told them that he did not want them to take a wife that was out of the covenant. But God has always counted everyone and although he married out, he listed all his descendants. Isaac had heard some of the problems that Abraham had with Ishmael’s mother. It is because of that we have two strong nations fighting for the right to occupy Israel. Two nations both descendants of Abraham claiming the same land, and people still say that their actions affect only them. Wake up, what you do today can affect the nations of tomorrow!!!!

  3. 6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

He packed everything he was ready to go , he had enough Off that please and of those people .

    A.L.M.A.S.

  4. Verses 6-8 CEV “Esau took his children and wives, his relatives and servants, his animals and possessions he had gotten while in Canaan, and moved far from Jacob. He did this because the land was too crowded and could not support him and his brother with their flocks and herds. That’s why Esau made his home in the hill country of Seir.” I found it interesting that it was Esau to be the one to move without incident, fight or complaint after recognizing the issue. This shows how God’s promise to Jacob came to pass.

  5. 31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

“Before there reigned any king over the children of israel” for humans a king could be replaced by greed, for power, or for fame, but we only have 1 King and he is the King of kings, Lord of lords. He is God almighty, Jesus, and he is alive and well. Hallelujah

  6. 1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
    2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;

As I read throughout this chapter, I kept waiting to read past just the lineage of Esau. But that never happened. The whole chapter was his lineage, sons, daughters, wives, etc. it says in the verse above that he took his wives from the daughters of Canaan. And yet we don’t hear of any blessings as Jacob/Israel had and he was never renamed as Jacob was to Israel. So many people says it’s just because he gave his birthright away. However, I believe it’s that, also with the addition that he married Canaan women out of rebellion against his father, as it said a few chapters ago. I believe this chapter tells us his detailed lineage so that you can see the affects of giving away God’s promises and/or blessings in your life and the repercussions of rebellion.

  7. 1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
    2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
3 And Bashemath Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth.
    4 And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;

If you ever wonder if whether or not you matter are you ever curious I think that you don’t. If there are times that you begin to doubt yourself and you don’t know God really cares about you this chapter alone can debunk that. God took the time to have Moses write down a generation of individuals that we’re not of the promised generation. They mattered enough to God to be written down in a book for everybody to read. We must stop falling into the lies that we don’t matter or we can’t make a difference because God has his hand in his eyes upon every single child on the face of the Earth. You matter simply because God made You

  8. Genesis 36: 6-7 [Amp] Now Esau took his wives, his sons , his daughters, and all the members of his household, his cattle , all his beasts, and all his possessions which he had obtained in the land of Canaan, he went into a land away from His brother Jacob.
[7] For their great flocks and herds and possessions [ which they had collected] made it impossible for them to dwell together; the land on which they were strangers could not support them because of their livestock. Esau had so many families and property. The descendants of Esau lived in an area of the Dead Sea called Edom. There no fighting or arguing among these brothers. This shows that God promise was for Jacob. Thank you Jesus .

  9. “Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock and all his other animals and all the goods he had acquired in Canaan, and moved to a land some distance from his brother Jacob. Their possessions were too great for them to remain together; the land where they were staying could not support them both because of their livestock.”
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭36:6-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s important to know when it’s time for you to move on in life and sometimes that requires separating yourself from certain people. What would have happened had Esau not seen the necessity to pack up and move away? Would it have been another epic family feud? Would Esau had allowed himself to be deceived by his brother yet again? I think Esau thought it wasn’t worth finding out, it was better to leave things as they were and peacefully walk away. We should take a lesson from Esau and learn when it’s time to keep moving forward, somethings are not worth sticking around for.

  10. Timna, the concubine of Esau’s son Eliphaz, gave birth to a son named Amalek. These are the descendants of Esau’s wife Adah.
    Genesis 36:12 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/gen.36.12.NLT

Esau was a descendant of Abraham therefore God was going to bless him because his word does not return void. He may not have been blessed as Jacob was but he was still blessed. But by staying away from the ways of the Lord our children can be deterred into ungodly lifestyles. Amalek became the amalekites, a enemy to Israel.

  11. “There was not enough land to support them both because of all the livestock and possessions they had acquired.”
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭36:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jacob was wise to be obedient and Esau knew how to work hard. With a combination like that, the land was not enough for the two of them. They had to expand their region. If we can learn to put our strengths together, come together in unity, revival will cause us to expand!

  12. Put up your dukes

The duke in this time was put into place as a military leader. The duke would be like a general in the army to dispatch garrisons of troops. The first thing that Esau taught these guys was how to fight for what they beloved in. He quickly put into place a system of defense against his enemies. Esau wasn’t wasting any time defenseless against the adversary. It makes me wonder this morning, what is our plan or strategic planning of defense against our adversary. If you don’t read your bible every morning before you go to work or school you have no battle plan. You are defenseless. Where do we receive our matching orders every day? So the strategy each day should be to receive our orders from above. We have to keep our dukes up!

  13. Esau could have went back to his families land and took a wife as Jacob did but in his anger and spite towards his parents for the deception of Jacob and the missed blessing if inheritance he took a wife from the canaanites. Therefore his entire family was born and raised in that culture, a culture born out of anger and bitterness.

Our actions effect generations to come. If our relationship with God is not first then it stands to reason we will raise our families with the same priorities. If we have have little God in our lives the next generation will have even less and just a couple generations away will have no God.

Place Jesus at the top of your list. Seek His Kingdom first and all these things shall be added unto you.

  14. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    ABUNDANT OVERFLOW

6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.
7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

There are reasons for separation as we learn here. The physical land could not sustain the Blessings of GOD. I believe this is the place that JESUS will bring HIS church to in the last days.

Following the great reunion of Jacob and Esau, we learn that both had ABUNDANT OVERFLOW and the deep rooted bitterness over the years was for naught. Both brothers were BLESSED ABUNDANTLY.

The fact that the land could not keep up with the grazing livestock, reveals the wisdom of GROWTH. I believe this to be an example and illustration for days to come. The POFW will arrive at this place of abundance where we do not have enough property to house the people and we will be ready to plant other churches in the region. Lets pray for the Wisdom of GOD in this area that we will follow HIS plan and experience HIS Kingdom Advancement and Increase.

Begin to speak this into the region of Fort Worth. “I speak ABUNDANT OVERFLOW” in the region of Fort Worth, TX and I speak WISDOM to the Leaders of The POFW to know how, when and where to multiply locations for The Kingdom of GOD. In JESUS name.

  15. iLove the Kingdom
I found it so interesting the Bible informed us several times in this chapter that Esau was Edom. In fact, this fact is mentioned in the following verses, 1, 8, 9, and 43. It has to be very important for us to understand that Esau became the father of the nation of the Edomites…and it was so important that I thought it might be important to know who the Edomites were today. Yep, a little research finds that modern day Jordan (along with Petra being Mount Seir) is the ancient land of Edom…and surprisingly enough…there are a lot of red headed folks over yonder (Esau was red).

Just as Esau left Jacob in peace here in scripture, so today is Esau still at peace with Israel and according to the book of Revelation will remain at peace with Israel.

Jordan is one of the only Islamic nations in the world who have a peace treaty with Israel. And there we have it y’all…the twin brothers living side by side even to this day…

  16. 1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
    2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
3 And Bashemath Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

Although we dont hear much about Esau in the Bible. It is 8mportant to know where we come from, and what your heritage is. When we are born again into the Kingdom of God, we gain the heritage of it. And when we seek after the Kingdom of God, more things of that heritage will be revealed. So seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  17. Genesis 36:1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.

Who is Edom- that name perpetuated the remembrance of the foolish bargain he made when he sold his birth-right for that red pottage.

Don’t make any foolish bargains for this world!

Abundant overflow is coming per Pastor statement above.

  18. For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:

10 These are the names of Esau’s sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.

  19. “And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob. For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.”
    ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭36:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
    https://www.bible.com/1/gen.36.6-7.kjv

    Expansion! No one left behind!
It’s time to take a brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, cousins, aunts, uncles, pawpaw,Mawmaw….and so on and bring them or lead them into Lords presence. Shouldn’t be too hard to do right? It’s time for expansion KINGDOM EXPANSION. Though this is an everyday goal (to reach others for the kingdom of heaven is at hand) it’s time we reach within the walls of our very own bloodline and pull those closer to Christ!

  20. Genesis 36
    Reconciled with many blessings.
The promise given to Abraham is being fulfilled throughout this chapter.
Two brothers blessed reunited now living with a peace agreement between them .
God is a God of multiplication unity harmony.

  21. 6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

In this chapter we actually see the prosperity of Esau. It states that Esau is Edom. We know from the beginning Esau was not loved and blessed initially by God because he sold his birth rite and blessing to Jacob. But this chapter represents the fact Esau was the son of Isaac, and that the lineage of Abraham was going to be blessed by God and the fulfilling of the covenant was going to happen regardless of the circumstances. We see in verses 6 & 7 that Esau was blessed greatly and that he removed himself from Canaan because together with Jacob the land would not be able to support both people.

We find that within the covenant to Abraham, God promises that he would be the father of many nations and when Rebekah consulted God, it was stated in verse 23 of Genesis 25:

    Genesis 25:23
23And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

This was a fulfillment to that scripture when Esau moved to Mount Seir and became Edom. Even though we may think that God should have never blessed Esau, it is in God’s nature not to lie. He upholds every promise and every word every time regardless of our circumstances.

Remember when we seek first the kingdom of God we will be blessed in his time.

  22. 43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these be the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession: he is Esau the father of the Edomites.

There are good Edomites and there are bad Edomites. In first Kings 18:3 says Obadiah an Edomite save the lives of the prophets who King Ahab of Israel was trying to kill. There will always be war between iso descendants and Jacobs descendants because of the birth right .

  23. 6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.
7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

Esau was blessed with the goods of the world and had no quarrel with his brother. They had put their differences behind them and moved on. Jacob moved on into the promises of God while Esau moved on with the abundance of wealth of the world. I pray to move on into the promises and blessings of God plus receive the abundant blessings of God of the wealth of the world! My God owns the cattle of a thousand hills and We can have both when we serve the King of Kings! We must seek His wisdom with the wealth of this world because riches can deceive your heart and mind! I pray abundant overflow in the region of Ft Worth and for POFW! Give wisdom to our Pastor and leaders to move in these blessings.

  24. Genesis 36:24 (KJV)
And these [are] the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this [was that] Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.

It was not to be yoked with the ox (Deuteronomy 22:10); for the distinctions which God has fixed in nature are to be observed; humanity would forbid animals of such different size and strength being yoked together.

  25. 8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

9 And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:

We see every generation after Esau in this chapter. Every name of a father and son is written down here. Seems to me like Jesus enjoys keeping track of things. With this in mind, it reminds me of the importance in keeping track of every guest that comes to church, every bible study, and every cent given during offering. It will help us calculate our growth and where we need improvement in our spiritual lives.

  26. 9 These are the dukes that came of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,

30 Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.

31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

  27. And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.

They separated and the generations grew and grew. As a believer we separated our selves from the things of this world. However we encounter souls all around us daily which gives us an opportunity to grow His Kingdom. We have an opportunity to reach those that are lost and confused. We are the connection that they need for them to know Jesus!! His Kingdom is going to GROW in Jesus Name!!!

  28. …Well after all Esau is mentioned and it tells us about his family and generations…
Everyone is important to God. God does not want men to perish…. men chooses their own destination.
    God gives salvation 🙌

  29. vs.6
This chapter allows us to see that God..takes account of very detaile….God commands separation we must come out of that which is worldly and unclean.
God’s requirements are clear, but HE has left the choice for relationship to mankind….it up to us.

  30. Yesterday we read about the children of Jacob. (Israel)
Today we are reading about the children of Esau. (Edom)

2 nations and 2 manner of people.
When the Lord spoke to Rebekah, he said, “Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels;…” (Gen. 25:23)

  31. 7 There was not enough land to support them both because of all the livestock and possessions they had acquired.

They both were obedient to God, and were blessed beyond measure. They gave, and received more than they could handle. So much, that Esau had to move to make room for his blessings. Have a giving heart, and see the blessings come.

  32. 7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.
    Genesis 13:15-16
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.
And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

    Acts 3:25
Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

We still have this same promise today, if we would just trust in him and do his will and not our own we could have anything we need according to his riches in glory.

  33. 31 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

God also said or promised to Abraham that He would bless Ishmael and make of him a great nation and that 12 princes would come out of him.
If God can keep a word to something that was not his plan or will, would he not keep his promise and words to the Children of promise, the children of God? Think about it? If God said it, it will happen!

  34. 36: 1-43 Esau and his descendas

The records in this chapter show God’s faithfulness to his promise to Abraham. Esau is here called Edom, the name that keeps the memory of his selling his birthright for a plate of lentils. Esau continued the same profane despiser of heavenly things.
In outward prosperity and honor, the children of the covenant are often behind, and those who are outside the covenant lay the beginning. We can assume that a test for Israel’s faith of God, to hear of the pomp and power of the kings of Edom, while they were bond-slaves in Egypt; but those who seek great things from God, must be content to wait for them; God’s time is the best moment. Monte Seir is called the land of his possession. Canaan was at this time only the land of promise. Seir was in the possession of the Edomites. The children of this world have their all in their hands, and nothing in hope, Lu 16:25; while the children of God have their all in hope, and almost nothing in hand. But, well looked at, it cannot be better compared to having Canaan in the promise, than Mount Seir in possession

  36. 2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
3 And Bashemath Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

All that fuss, and leaving, knowing not to make the daughters of Canaan his wife, and he did. How many times are we warned, and because of PRIDE, we still do?

Pride is what caused Lucifer to fall. Pride will cause more harm than a person is willing to take. Pride comes before the fall… could the fall be falling out of church?

  37. Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom. Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite; And Bashemath Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
    Genesis 36:1‭-‬3 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/gen.36.1-3.KJV

I guess it was standard to wife more than one woman, and Esau for so.eone who got the blessing is doing well for himself, it really seems that him and Jacob are fixing their relationship!

    First the KINGDOM
when life is unsure…God is good!

  38. For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.
    Genesis 36:7 KJV

Although Esau was grief strucken in the beginning about getting cheated out of his blessing by Israel, in the end God blessed both of their family lines to expand and multiply.

  39. And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob. For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.”

    Overflow of blessing!!!
THE BEST IS YET TO COME

  40. 7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.

What a blessing it is to have so much that it’s time to expand into more territory. The cattle the riches and the children all mean growth and growth means expansion. In the process of expanding some many have to part was but all in all you have favor. So stay connected to the king that he may enlarge your territory.

  41. Everybody is important to Jesus. We were created in his image. He loves us. Thank you Jesus. You are worthy of praise. Allelujah. I love you Jesus

  42. All of the people mentioned……GOD made sure their names would be jotted down and mentioned multiple times in HIS WORD!!! nobody is exempt from GOD’S LOVE AND MERCY!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  43. 2 Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite

I believe God does things for a reason even when we don’t understand them at first. Essau gave away his birthright to his clever brother Jacob, but good thing he did. He didn’t respect the position that the first born carried. They knew they weren’t supposed to marry outside their people. However Essau does whatever he wants, without caring of the consequences of his sin.
