Exodus 11

And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.

And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

  1. Pharaoh had already experienced three strike outs as it was and still refused to let God’s people go. As scripture reads this was all within God’s plan as we read last chapter verses 1-2 AMP “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants [making them determined and unresponsive], so that I may exhibit My signs [of divine power] [a]among them, and that you may recount and explain in the hearing of your son, and your grandson, what I have done [repeatedly] to make a mockery of the Egyptians—My signs [of divine power] which I have done among them—so that you may know [without any doubt] and recognize [clearly] that I am the Lord.”

  2. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

God said that this was going to be the last thing that he was going to do to Pharaoh and this time there would be no doubt that the children of Israel would be thrust from the land of Egypt. Even God stated that sometimes the worst is always coming and at this point it was the last thing that God was doing because of all the plagues, Pharaoh would not change his heart and let Israel go.

How many times that we have lived for God and the worst thing happens to us to get our attention to wake up or change our ways toward the kingdom of God. It always takes dire circumstances to get us to look up and know that sometimes when it is the worst we’ve ever seen, that God is the only one to be able to pull us out of the miry clay and put our foot upon the rock to stay. See when we have sought the kingdom of God first, then our senses are keen to the will of God and we no longer are in control. We have to let go and let God do his will. We have to look up to the hills whence comets our help. Remember God is the almighty, the everlasting father, the great I AM. There is none beside him.

  3. 9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

One way or another, God will get your attention! It’s amazing how God gave Pharaoh every opportunity to let the Children of Israel go in peace and not bring a curse upon the land and people of Egypt. Thank you, Lord for grace and mercy!

  4. 1 “And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.”

This is it one more time this was the one that was gonna break the camels back .

10 “And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.”

But the lower hardened pharaohs heart . The Almighty God is in control not pharaoh.

  5. 4 And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

Not listening to God can be very destructive. There is always a reason for what he is doing. We may not see it now, but if we follow his word and obey we will see the seed that has been planted be fruitful.

  6. 11:9 And the Lord said unto Moises, Pharaoh silla not not hearten unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
    ——
Just like God is preparing Moses to hear a No ! from Pharaoh again.—
What God did last night in service was nothing but speaking LIIFE through Pastor.
    ——
    God told Moses to go.
God is telling us to GO too. Go!
Go face life knowing that the Almighty is on our side.
    Hallelujah 🙌🙌🙌🙌

  7. 3. And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

So many of God’s people live as if they’re embarrassed because of who they are, when it should be the exact opposite. –

    1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

To borrow Pastor’s sermon title from last night, when we realize “Who we are in the Kingdom of God” and see that we are the ones God has anointed, the ones with power and dominion in Jesus name, we’ll see that we have no reason to be hanging our heads or consider ourselves second-class citizens, but we can be like Moses and have favor in the sight of those around us.

  8. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

Called, chosen, and separate. God loves His people and if we are faithful, He will keep us, cover us, and protect us. Stay faithful in your relationship with God and He will guide you exactly where you need go.

  9. Exodus 11: 9’10 [Amp] Then the Lord said to Moses Pharaoh will not listen to you, that My wonders and miracles may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
[10] Moses and Aaron did all these wonders and miracles the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s stubborn heart and he did not let the Israelites go out of his land. But after thy hardness and impenitent heart tresurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of righteous judgement of God. The all mighty God is in control not Pharaoh is not. One way or the other God is going to get your attention. Praise God.

  10. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

There is a special covering the Lord has placed over his children, that any person who comes against a man a woman of God shall be dealt with. That doesn’t make us any more special the next person but it is who we belong to that merits such covering. I don’t think that it means that we should walk around trying to curse anybody who we don’t like but it does mean that we are protected. It is who we belong to not who we are

  11. His said to pharaoh that this was his last plegue, and pharaoh still did not let his people go. What happened was all of the first born sons died. From the biggest cow to the smallest person. We want to always listen to God and be obedient to his word! GO FORTH IN HIS NAME POFW!!😁

  12. Exodus 11

1 And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.

3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

  13. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

There’s always been a separation between the world and the people of God. This separation is not because we the people created it but God “put a difference between the Egyptians (the world) and Israel (the chosen) what God has joined together we have no right to try and recreate. We are to love the people hate the sin and lead them into the Kingdom.

  14. So in Exodus 11 verses 1-3 it talks about pharaoh and Moses and they should hence forth and they should speak to the person and every man and women should borrow the jewels and Jesus gave the jewels to the egyptians

  15. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

“Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.”
    ‭‭Malachi‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You can be a man/woman of this world or a man/woman of God.

A man/woman of this world will seek to please self. A man/woman of God will seek to please Christ.

Everybody is serving something or someone. Whatever you serve, you become like. So those that serve Christ are becoming loving, kind, good, compassionate, holy and righteous.

The Lord has put a difference between those who are His people and those who are not.

There is a difference, a big difference. And those that choose well are blessed and favored by God.

Let’s do our part in helping others choose well!

  16. iLove the Kingdom

The Lord gave the command and then the Lord gave favor. I’ve heard, “The Lord’s Will, the Lord’s bill” and this fits that statement here. God told them what to do and when they did it, the favor of God opened the blessing.

God told POFW to go on Outreach last night. If we all will do it, we will receive the favor of the Lord. So many times God speaks, we say “Wow, that was a great service” then we sleep in during outreach. If the children of Israel would have slept in and not borrowed from the Egyptians we would still today be preaching about it thinking in our minds, “I would have just listened to Moses the man of God”.

Each of us have a chance to listen to the man of God. Will we say, “Good Service” or will we get into service?

  17. 2Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.
3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.
4 And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

The voice of God in your life.

Wow. I am so thankful for the Move of God in our service lastnight. Not only did, we have a move of the Spirit, but also there were many that received clearity and blessings. I just want to say thank you Pastor, for following the leading of God.
Not only do we hear from God though His Word, and thats the easiest way, but we also hear the voice of God via our Pastor. His passion is to reach out to people, by means of lifestyle and of speaking the Word of God, by being a conduit of the Spirit.

We would be wise to seek aftrr God’s Kingdom first, because it just makes life easier. When we get direction for the day ahead, and know what the scriptures say, we can then build a day of the foundation on the Word of God. We will litterally have God speak to us before our day truly begins.
    So

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  18. And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
    Exodus 11:5‭-‬6 KJV

What Pharaoh brought on the Hebrews was returned to him in a worse way. What you sow you shall also reap. Our actions weather positive or negative not only effect the world around us but will come back to us normally in multiplication. Thank you God for keeping your hands on us. Thank you God for your amazing presence last night. You are such a wonderful and awesome God!

  19. Exodus 11
4–7 Then Moses confronted Pharaoh: “God’s Message: ‘At midnight I will go through Egypt and every firstborn child in Egypt will die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl working at her hand mill. Also the firstborn of animals. Widespread wailing will erupt all over the country, lament such as has never been and never will be again. But against the Israelites—man, woman, or animal—there won’t be so much as a dog’s bark, so that you’ll know that God makes a clear distinction between Egypt and Israel.’

God makes a clear distinction between Egypt and Israel…….
    11 Corinthians 6:17
Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”

It is a strange thing when people believe they can mingle with the world and it’s entertaining places that are not conducive to a Godly life. How can we
even entertain the thoughts of mixing with a group of people on dance floor at a bar in the midst of every evil thought and into regard to Gods commandments. We are in this world and can reach the list without going in to places that are totally disrespectful of God’s Word. God says be separate

    Ephesians 2:2
in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

I’ve heard people say well I’m not drinking or I’m not dancing with anyone but my wife. If God says He makes a distinction we surly cannot live a life being conformed to this world. Pharaoh again has his heart hardened. Not even a warning of an impending death warrant was going to change his mind . It is sad when men lead their own families right into a death trap. God is getting ready to pour out wrath upon this world and we must be different we must be separated from it. God help us to stay closer to You than ever and to lead our families daily
closer to You and not this world. It’s time that we take a stand against this world we are mighty in battle. We are warriors we must continue to unite and be obedient as the Israelites were in the Conan of Moses. We will find favor as we stand firm in our true belief of a real God .

    Distinction ….
excellence that sets someone or something apart from others.

Malachi 3:18 (CEBA) You will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between those serving God and those not serving him.

What will it take . God’s warning was not enough . All over our world there are warnings posted they are for our protection and safety. God’s warnings are through out the Bible we cannot ignore them. There is a reason there is purpose.

    Revelations 18::4
    Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “‘Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

  20. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

Being separate from the world is a blessing!!!!! God keeps us separate for a reason to protect us!!!! I don’t mind being different in a world of clones!!!

  21. But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
    Exodus 11:5‭-‬7 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/exo.11.5-7.KJV

It is so sad to me that It has come to this, if Pharoh would have just let them go, Hes done so many signs and wonders, plagues, and all to show the people of egypt that God is exactly who he says he is! He can make the Honey pot sweet, or turn it rancid, but Pharoh doesn’t get it. He still wants to control a people that doesn’t belong to him! He still wants to call the shots, and everytime God throws out something more devastating than the next! so the calm before the storm, he gets Moses to do wonders, and he still dont get the big picture. Gods done with it, hes ready to be worshipped and his children able to make sacrifices in his name, so Pharoh better wise up. God never loses! He always does what he says!

    First the Kingdom
when life is uncertain God is Good

  22. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    GODS FAVOR

3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

The word “favour” in the original Hebrew language is chen and it means pleasant, excellent, precious, elegance, grace and acceptance. Someone once said that “Favor isn’t FAIR”. This may be true from the eyes of the unbeliever. But as believers we understand a little better through the Grace of GOD and we are favored because of GODs Grace and that we are HIS.

Who We Are In The Kingdom of GOD Part 2 could go right here.

Because we are HIS we are Blessed above our labor, we are protected beyond our boundries, we have provision more than our necessities. When GOD gives direction to move we may as well accept that we will have GODS FAVOR when we OBEY. We should daily be seeking the “voice of the LORD” to know which way to go and which one to choose. May JESUS grant us today HIS FAVOR as GO out and COME in to opportunities and transactions.

I speak today the Favor of GOD over The POFW and we will walk in GODS favor today as we Impact our city for JESUS.

    iRepent
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  23. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

That ye may know how the Lord seperates the Egyptians and Israel. There is a difference between how our life was living for the world rather then for God. Its the manner of how we see the world and how and what we receive\take from it. The Lord goes before us in every battle. Just as he did in this situation. He will show our enemy the magnitude of his wrath. His spirit makes us stand out and above our enemy.

  24. 9 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that My wonders (miracles) may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.” 10 Moses and Aaron did all these wonders (miracles) before Pharaoh; yet the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the Israelites go out of his land.

Again we see the hardening of Pharoah’s heart, but for a purpose. Too many times we despise the test and trials, but God always has a plan. He sees all and knows and knows our end from the beginning, after all He formed us in our mothers womb. The test may not always be for us, but for someone else to see the hand of God working in us, which encourages them or leads them to the place God can work in their life.

Through every test and trial we can be assured that we are not alone. He is always with us!

  25. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

When the Lord wants there to be a difference between his people and the people around us-of the world-we will do well to be separate and Holy unto him. We have a heavenly home we are looking for and the way is strait or confining, it is a narrow path because it is the Lord’s ways. The ways of this world wont get us there. We must strive to enter in that strait gate.

  26. “But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭11:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord has always desired for the children of God to be separated from the children of darkness. We are called to be Holy. In 1 Peter 1:16 we are to be Holy for He is holy.
The word holy in the Greek means sacred (physically, pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially, consecrated):–(most) holy (one, thing), saint. The children of God are not from this world. We are from the Kingdom and we must live out the Kingdom lifestyle.

  27. 2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.
3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

God gave the children of Israel favor in the sight of the Egyptians. He had given them Goshen some time back, but now as they have became slaves to the Egyptians and their country Egypt God gives them favor. A slave gets favor from those around him to where they gave them their gold and silver. That’s not a normal occurrence. God has given us that same favor. Do we choose to walk in that light or do we choose to ignore the blessing put upon us? In this scripture God tells them to speak in the ears of all the people. Man ask from his neighbors and women from her neighbors. Sometimes the blessings don’t just fall in our laps but you have to ask to receive them. What will you choose?

3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

Moses was even recognized as great in the land. This man killed someone, ran away, cane back totally different, had a stutter and walked with a staff. But yet in the sight of the people of Egypt, and pharaoh’s servants he was recognized as great! That is a true calling, ministry, and anointing.

  28. “Then Moses said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘At midnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt, and all the firstborn in the land [the pride, hope, and joy] of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the hand-mill, and all the firstborn of cattle as well. There shall be a great cry [of heartache and sorrow] throughout the land of Egypt, such as has never been before and such as shall never be again. But not even a dog will threaten any of the Israelites, whether man or animal, so that you may know [without any doubt] and acknowledge how the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.’ All these servants of yours will come down to me and bow down before me, saying, ‘Get out, you and all the people who follow you.’ After that I will leave.” And he left Pharaoh in the heat of anger.”
    ‭‭EXODUS‬ ‭11:4-8‬ ‭AMP‬‬
Despite the great calamity to come, God would grant the Egyptians the ability to see the situation as it really was: the fault of their own Pharaoh, not the fault of Moses or the children of Israel.

  29. Despite the great tragedy to come, God will allow the Egyptians the ability to see the situation as it really was: the fault of their own Pharaoh, not the fault of Moses or the children of Israel. This was worse news to Pharaoh. Some leaders don’t mind misfortune if they can blame it on someone else. Here, God promised that Pharaoh himself would bear the blame. An unprecedented outpouring of grief but among the Israelites there would be such tranquility on that evening that no a dog would have occasion to bark.

In those days, everyone had gods. There were gods for crops, rain, sunshine, etc. The Egyptians have gods, and the Israelites have a God. What is the difference? God’s demonstration of power over the deities of Egypt, showed that there was a difference.

  30. 3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

Moses was already known by the Egyptian people as the son (adopted) of a princess. It was a noble position, so his return after betrayal was pretty much only welcomed by his (adoptive) brother Ramses the new Pharaoh. Moses must have always felt like the misfit and for good reason. He was educated by the most sophisticated teachers the Egyptians knew, wore their expensive clothes and had lavish surroundings. All of that could not fill the whole where his people and his God belonged. What he learned in the palace was going to prove valuable in the Lord’s will. God guided his steps from the basket in the Nile to this very moment. The favor the Lord is shone upon Moses and the Hebrews from the servants of Pharaoh and the Egyptian people.

God can turn anything around for Hs glory. The very people that may have despised us can welcome us with goods and favor. The sight of people is directed by their perception. The mind is a place where God can give revelation and also harden hearts as he did to Pharaoh. This is why we must stay under our covering and a willing vessel to be used to see it come to pass.

    salmos 91:7

  32. Exodus 11:7, “But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.”

There has always been and always will be a difference between the people of the world (Egyptians) and the children of God (Israel).
The world is full of sin, perverseness, and ungodliness, but we, as the children of God, live a separated life, a life of holiness and righteousness before God.

  33. “So the Lord made the Egyptians greatly respect the Israelites, and everyone, including the king’s officials, considered Moses an important leader.(‭‭Exodus‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭CEV‬‬)

We can always rely on the Lord by putting our trust and faith in him to come through for us. He will never let his children down or leave them to be captivate by the hand of the enemy forever.

  34. Wow this is the power the powerfull God we serve, he will make r enemies beg us to leave, cause they can’t stand the power of God, as if that was not enough God will not let us leave empty handed

T he Bible says that not only is nobody going to oppose the departure of the Israelites from Egypt, but they will beg them to leave …
(Exodus 11: 8) And all these your servants shall come down to me, and bowed down before me they shall say: Go away, you and all the people that are under you; and after this I will leave …

In the end, it was going to be clear that Israel’s freedom was not due to “the goodness” of Pharaoh that set them free, but was the powerful hand of Jehovah.
(Exodus 11: 9-10) And Jehovah said to Moses, Pharaoh will not hear you, so that my wonders may multiply in the land of Egypt. And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; For Jehovah had hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and did not send the children of Israel out of his country.

THEY WILL NOT GET OUT WITH EMPTY HANDS
Also from that day of the burning bush, God announced that the Israelites would not leave Egypt empty-handed.
(Exodus 3: 19-22) But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go except by a strong hand. But I will extend my hand, and I will hurt Egypt with all my wonders that I will do to him, and then he will let you go. And I will give this people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians, so that when you leave, you will not go empty-handed; but each woman will ask her neighbor and her guest silver jewelry, gold jewelry, and clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters; and you will strip Egypt.

Perhaps the Israelites would not have cared to leave empty-handed in order to be free; but the Lord wanted to do justice, and the Israelites received just compensation for all the years they worked as slaves for the Pharaoh. An interesting detail is that the Israelites were to ask for these gifts from the Egyptians.
(Exodus 11: 2-3) Now speak to the people, and let each one ask his neighbor, and each one to his neighbor, silver and gold jewelry. And Jehovah gave grace to the people in the eyes of the Egyptians. Moses was also considered a great man in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the eyes of the people.

The open heart to give them these goods contrasts with the hard heart to let them go. The Lord was going to give grace, but the Israelites had to ask for it. On the other hand, this delivery of goods was not only an act of labor justice, but God had already contemplated that that would serve them for the construction of the Tabernacle in the middle of the desert.

  35. 9Now the LORD had told Moses earlier, “Pharaoh will not listen to you, but then I will do even more mighty miracles in the land of Egypt.” 10Moses and Aaron performed these miracles in Pharaoh’s presence, but the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he wouldn’t let the Israelites leave the country.

Even though Pharaoh knew his firstborn was at stake, he refused to let the Israelites leave. Most fathers would not have gamble with their sons/daughters. I would have given Moses what ever he wanted, but to let my son live.

  36. 6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lorddoth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

We should be able to see a difference between us and the rest of the world, and the world should see a difference between us and them. If they can’t see a difference you are living in the wrong part of Egypt! And you will miss out on the blessing God has for you in the land of Goshen.

  37. 3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

God will give favor in the presence of your enemies. They may not understand what is going on when God is in control. Sometimes as Christians we worry too much. I remember years ago, my grandmother preached a sermon, “Stop Worrying and Start Praying.” That message has stuck with me until this day. When I come to hard stop, instead of worrying myself out of it, I start praying. We can get through a lot of situations if we would just go before the Lord. If we are ever going to tell the world about Jesus and convince them they need the Holy Ghost and need to be baptized in Jesus name, we need to know how to pray. Prayer is changes things.

  38. When the heart is hard the ears still see.

Exodus 11:2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.

Psalms 141:8 (KJV) But mine eyes [are] unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

Say it; The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Proverbs 18:10-12 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle. A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

  39. And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

4 And Moses said, Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

  40. 9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

  41. Prideful destruction

The methodical display of power that God demonstrates here is undeniable. It began with a stick and a serpent but the magicians replicated it. Now we have been through the frogs, locust, darkness and now death. But not just death, a specific death that was widespread and on purpose. This could only be the one true God that could do such a thing. The build up that God creates here is infallible proof of his deity but Pharaoh still won’t listen. How deep is the pride when you will sacrifice your own family just to prove a point? I’ve seen people walk out on church just to prove a point and now their families are lost or “dead” spiritually. This kind of blinding pride is the most deadly of all. This is a often used device of the enemy. The build up of hardships on a life continues to build pride on top of pride that ultimately leads to spiritual blindness that will totally destroy what you love. Let us be careful to cast down imaginations and ungodly pride as soon as we recognize it and pray everyday that our minds be behind the hedge of protection of the blood of Jesus.. Let us guard our hearts when we go through situations and trouble that we never lose sight of Gods grace and provision. Although it’s tough right now, look at what he has already brought me through. I know I’ll make it through this one. To sum it up… Pharaoh went through crazy tough times but instead of leading him to God he refused to submit and it lead to the death of his son. Nothing in this world is worth the death of my son! I will submit.

  42. But not even a dog will threaten any of the Israelites, whether man or animal, so that you may know [without any doubt] and acknowledge how the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.’
    EXODUS 11:7 AMP

We are not like the world. We should not participate or try to look like, for the Lord himself makes a distinction. Be holy, let your own testimony be read of men in how you live your life. You may be the only bible some great to read. The book of Acts is still being written by blood bought, Jesus name baptized, and Holy Ghost filled believers. Be separate, be church to to someone.

  43. 3 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

Even though the world around us doesn’t believe like we do, because of Jesus, they hold high respect for us, when we guard our testimonies.

The Word says we are the light of the world. It also says that we are epistles read of all men. With these two verses we understand that they are watching our every move, and listening to our every word, waiting for us to slip, so they don’t feel so convicted ab

  44. But not even a dog will threaten any of the Israelites, whether man or animal, so that you may know [without any doubt] and acknowledge how the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.’
    EXODUS 11:7 AMP

To be under the shadow of the Almighty!

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
    Psalms 91:7 KJV
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
    Psalms 37:25 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
    Proverbs 3:5 KJV

God has shown us over and over again how Mighty He is and that He takes care of his own. Whether physically, mentally or emotionally, God always provides!

  45. “But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal.’ Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭11:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Soooo many people always ask, “Why do y’all do this? Why do y’all do that? Y’all have so many rules….” God made sure people would be able to see the difference between the Egyptians and the Israelites. You were born to be set apart, to be free, to be noticed by God.

  46. This time when he goes he tells him that things will change. The Egyptians are giving their tings to the Israelites. I think that part of the reason Pharaoh had such a hard time letting them go was because God wanted to use the Egyptians to bless the Israelites more by the things they took from Egypt.
