Leviticus 6

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

11 And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

14 And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, before the altar.

15 And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the Lord.

16 And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

17 It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.

18 All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the Lord made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.

19 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

20 This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the Lord in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

21 In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the Lord.

22 And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the Lord; it shall be wholly burnt.

23 For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

24 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

25 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord: it is most holy.

26 The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

27 Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

28 But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

29 All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

30 And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.

  1. 2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour

6 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest

The sin offering was required when a person transgressed a commandment as a confession that death is the only true recompense for sin. It must, as with all other offerings, be slain by the offerer and its blood taken by the priest and sprinkled on the altar, representing one’s own lifeblood being poured out to God.

It’s purpose is to bring the person back into fellowship with God on the basis of a true confession followed by His forgiveness. The sin offering highlighted the fact that sin alienates the Israelite from the covenant and that to approach God one must be free from sin. This ultimately spoke of Messiah looking forward.

A burnt offering speaks of a person’s dedication and requires the entire beast to be burned. It is unusual in that the animal is dismembered and the intestines cleaned before everything but the skin is consumed by fire. This, in contrast to the sin offering, is an offering of service to Yahweh, symbolising the dedication of one’s entire self—not just one’s body—but one’s mind, heart and inner strength also. Like the sin offering (which may precede it) the lifeblood of the animal representing the sinner’s own blood is sprinkled on the altar as a reminder that one’s life is required as payment for sin before one can serve God faithfully. So to be a servant of God one must die and be reborn through God’s forgiveness

  2. 2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

We sometimes forget that GOD IS THE ALL SEEING!!! When we see a “NO TRESPASSING SIGN”we most likely stay away especially if we don’t want problems or sometimes even to death…. what ever our reaction is in the physical should also be in the spirit or better yet IT IS WHAT IT IS!!! If we go through that trespassing sign physically then most likely when we see that spiritual NO TRESPASSING SIGN, we will go full force right into why because, we do not love JESUS enough……I NEED MORE OF YOU O LORD!!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!

  3. Meanwhile, the fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must never go out. Each morning the priest will add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering on it. He will then burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.

  5. 2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

3 Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

Dont lie. Always be honest even if they dont like what you have to say. Honesty is the best option always.

  6. Verse 2 AMP “When anyone sins and acts unfaithfully against the Lord by deceiving his neighbor (companion, associate) in regard to a deposit or a security entrusted to him, or through robbery, or if he has extorted from his neighbor,”. Deceit:(of a person) cause (someone) to believe something that is not true, typically in order to gain some personal advantage. Deception, we heard about this Sunday night….stay away from anything or anyone who is leading you down this path!

Verses 8-13 MSG “God spoke to Moses: “Command Aaron and his sons. Tell them, These are the instructions for the Whole-Burnt-Offering. Leave the Whole-Burnt-Offering on the Altar hearth through the night until morning, with the fire kept burning on the Altar. Then dress in your linen clothes with linen underwear next to your body. Remove the ashes remaining from the Whole-Burnt-Offering and place them beside the Altar. Then change clothes and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place. Meanwhile keep the fire on the Altar burning; it must not go out. Replenish the wood for the fire every morning, arrange the Whole-Burnt-Offering on it, and burn the fat of the Peace-Offering on top of it all. Keep the fire burning on the Altar continuously. It must not go out.” Day and Night, Night and Day….let the fire at your altar, never burn out.

  7. 7 And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

There is one thing that I’m very thankful for and that is we can come unto the altar without having to have a priest to make atonement for us. We are able to boldly approach the throne of God and obtain mercy in the time of need and he will allow us to render our sacrifices unto him personally. We have opportunity to do unto God through the meeting at the altar in which we must have the fresh fire and not allowing it to go out.

No matter where we go and what we do, we have to build a new altar. We can not allow some one else’s altar to work for us. It would be like us offering a strange sacrifice unto God. It would be like offering up someone else’s praise. We have to make our mind up whether we are going to worship and live for God or we will worship and live for the world. We can not serve two masters. That is why we have to have fresh fire.

May the fire on my altar never go out. Day and night, night and day! God make me a house of prayer.

  8. In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the Lord . And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the Lord ; it shall be wholly burnt. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord : it is most holy.

Even the priest has a certain offering they have to present to God, Pastor has his relationship he has to have. he has to give his sacrifices too. God has them there for a reason, and with that position has so much responsibility. Aaron and his sons had so much responsibility, they were responsible for the operation of the Tabernacle, and there was no time for them to slack, that fire had to burn as long as that tabernacle was standing, and as Long as God was dwelling on the Tabernacle, They were in his service.

    First the Kingdom
Keep the Fire Burning…God is Good

  9. Keep the fire on

    Scripture: Leviticus 6: 8-13

Shows the importance of maintaining our fervent spiritual life before God.

This story i read git my atention:
Some time ago in New York City, a lady decided to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The museum was exhibiting the paintings of the French artist Monet. One of the most famous paintings of this painter is that of a boat with its image reflected on the water, like a mirror. This woman was watching the painting carefully and was convinced that something was wrong with that painting. She approached a security guard and then the museum manager and expressed their concern. Both told him that there was nothing wrong with that painting, it was authentic, and that he should not expect to become an art expert in a single day.

Frustrated, the woman left the museum and went to a bookstore, where she bought a book of Monet’s paintings, which included the work in question. With the book in hand, he returned to the Museum and compared the book with the painting. Then he called the art critic of the New York Times, and together they announced by the media that for a period of almost 4 months, in front of thousands of visitors and numerous art critics, the painting of the boat on the water was hung upside down. It took a woman with passion to make a difference.

What does that have to do with this story with leviticus 6 ?
We live immersed in a culture where something seems to go wrong. When we compare what we see in the Word of God with what we see in the world, things seem to be the other way around. Sin is exalted, justice is ridiculed. And we are told that everything is fine.

What is necessary to do to correct the ship of the moral decay of our society today? It takes men and women, like many of you, to have passion for Christ.

the third book of the OT: Leviticus. Reading a few verses in ch 6.
Look at verse 8 “Jehovah spoke to Moses still, saying: Send Aaron and his sons, and say to them, This is the law of the holocaust: the holocaust will be on the fire burning on the altar all night, until the morning; the fire of the altar will burn in him. ”Now let’s jump to v. 12, please “and the fire burning on the altar will not go out, but the priest will put firewood on it every morning, and arrange the burnt offering on it, and burn on it the thicknesses of the peace sacrifices. The fire will burn continuously on the altar; It won’t go out

  10. Leviticus 8:36 So Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.

Thank God for a Pastor who leads us, he has been set apart for God’s service, he chooses to live and lead . I will follow in his footsteps.

The failure of a leader usually results in consequences far more grave that the fall of a non-leader; On the day Aaron failed, about 3000 men of the people fell(died) exodus 32:28).When leaders fall, followers also paythe price.
One who is truly serving God must be ready to hear His word, to undertake His work, and to move at His command.

  11. 7 And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

8 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

9 Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

  12. So in Leviticus Chapter 6 verses 7-9 it telling me that the Priest had forgiven him for what he hath done and for trespassing then Jesus Commanded Aaron and the Sons to do a Burnt Offering upon the Altar all day and night and by morning the fire was still burning then the Priest put up Fresh Linen Garments then they took up the ashes which the Burnt Offering Consumed on the Altar

  13. Leviticus 6 : 12 -13 [Amp] And the fire upon the altar shall be burning on it; it shall not be allowed to go out. The priest shall burn wood on it every morning and lay the burnt offering in order upon it and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. [13] The fire shall be burning continually upon the altar; it shall not to go out. Don’t let the fire of the Holy Ghost ever go out. Keep building your altar were ever you go. Kingdom First .

  14. 25. Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord: it is most holy.

    26. The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

    27. Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

Whatever touched the offering that was Holy became Holy also – let’s apply that to our lives every day; instead of letting the world bring us down and make us like them, let’s be strong enough that we bring them up as we strive to be more like Him.

  15. What Is Sacrifice?

The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out. All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy. And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.
    Leviticus 6:13‭, ‬29‭-‬30 KJV

What does it truly mean to sacrifice to God? Give up that which is pleasing to you. Give all that you have of the first fruit and of your increase. We must come before God with that true sacrificial heart of giving and not because we need to; rather because we want to please God and show Him that we love living for the Kingdom. This is how it is meant to be for us. God knows our hearts when it comes to giving of ourselves. It doesn’t mean just money; it can be of time and talent. Giving will increase you as well as show God that you have really turned from your sin. Lord lead me today in giving of my offering to show myself pleased in Your eyes and may the alter of my fire never go out. Thank you Jesus.

  16. Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭6:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So many ”do’s.” And in the midst of them a huge DON’T. Do not let the fire go out, ever. Lead us Lord and let us daily continue in prayer to never let our fire go out.

  17. Oh wow! When I was Catholic on Wednesday after Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) was done Is called Ash Wednesday and I just learn why. You see Mardi Gras begins Jan 6 with the celebration of the 3 wisemen and last until Fat Tuesday (this year is February 25) in which people are allowed to indulge as much as they want because when lent begins sacrifices begin. After reading this chapter I realize why then they go to church offer their sacrifice which consist of a promise of fasting something until Easter. The ash then is a symbol of that sacrifice (the last Sacrificial Lamb) . I did that for years without knowing it’s meaning when I asked I was told because that’s how it is. I wonder if any of them realize the truth of that symbol. Our Sweet SACRIFICIAL LAMB THAT GAVE EVERY DROP OF HIS BLOOD SO WE COULD BE FREE. JESUS CHRIST OUR GOD!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!

  18. “The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.”

Prayer, it’s the key for the morning and the lock at night.

We gotta keep the fire burning and not stop. Pastor just talked about keeping the oil in our lamps and don’t be foolish well step one DONT let the Fire on The Altar burn out. Last night I dreamt my little 40 days of fire candle had went out. Before I even read the blog this morning I walked into my study and looked at my 40 days of fire candle and seen how dim it was so I changed the battery and I got to praying. The fire on our altars can easily go out if we don’t maintain it. But one thing I learned about fire growing up with a wood stove was you stoke it up at night before bed and you stoke it up before you go to school or work. When you get you gonna have some hot coals. So that’s our lock and key PRAYER.

    Let’s get the fire hot!

  19. “But the offering for sin may not be eaten if its blood was brought into the Tabernacle as an offering for purification in the Holy Place. It must be completely burned with fire.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭6:30
With the grace of God we don’t have to do all This no more. He gave his life as the sacrifice. So that we wouldn’t have to worry about blood sacrifices. He became it. Thank you Jesus for your grace

  20. I am having a problem posting so here we go again hope this time it post. I was raised Catholic and all my life Mardi Gras was celebrated. It began on January 6, which is 3 wisemen day and ended with Fat Tuesday (this year falls in February 25. During this time people are encouraged to indulge as much as they want; then on that Wednesday they go to church and get ash put on their foreheads. I never understood until now. That ash is a symbol of sacrifice. You see they are taught that they must sacrifice something during lent. That ashes symbolizes their sacrifice. The Last Sacrifice was JESUS CHRIST. Our Sacrificial Lamb that shed ALL of His Precious Blood so we may live. Every time I asked why we did that I was told because we do. I wonder if they even know. Be very careful not to do things just to do them.
Col 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. People do things in church out of habit, because this is what we do every Sunday. They become stagnant and anything that becomes stagnant stinks. OUR SACRIFICIAL LAMB DIED FOR OUR SINS. He was the last offering done for yours and mine sins. That’s what that ash that they put on their forehead means. So when you see them ask if they know what that means and why they do it? To cleanse themselves of the sins they committed during the indulgence before Fat Tuesday. A reminder of HIS DEATH!

  21. 13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

The fire of the Holy Ghost in our lives should never go out.

  22. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

I will never forget the first time I read the scripture and how it stuck out to me. The fire on the altar shall never go out, it shall be ever-burning. The only way for a fire to keep going if something is constantly being burned. If we are not sacrificing our flesh, then our passion can easily die. But if we remind ourselves what we are doing and why we are doing it then that altar always has a sacrifice and it shall be ever-burning.

  23. iLove the Kingdom
Thank You Jesus for taking on the sins of the world. These Levites worked hard for sure. It was a bloody and messy job these fellers had leading these Hebrews to the promised land. Thank the Lord we don’t have to do all these things anymore. We ourselves need to be the sacrifice. We bring praise and worship, we sacrifice time, talent, and treasure…not goats, lambs, and sheep.

  24. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

Coming to God as a living sacrifice is not a quick in and out. But it is continually giving ourselves to Him.

May the fire on my altar never go out!

  25. Leviticus 6
13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

As I was scrolling down I was amazed at all the wood that had already been gathered this morning . Posting a bit later than normal. If you have taken notice the atmosphere is shifting. As we pile more and more wood upon the altar the fire can never burn out. We must stay alert we must kindle daily the fire of the altar to keep it burning. Results are occurring people in need spiritually are going to start calling you and we just have the ability to speak to pray to lead them to the altar of fire that never burns out.

I received a call this week from a daughter of a friend she said mom says “please come pray with her please come preach the word to her the cry of an 80 year old woman lying in a hospital. As I was speaking in tongues in prayer she was praying and then she asked again about the Holy Ghost again about the speaking in tongues.
Sacrifice Altar Prepared Equipped Endued with the Power the necessity of Revival wherever we go.

We must allow the fire of our altar the flow of the Holy Ghost to burn where ever we find God leading us. Desperate souls are waiting to see if we really believe what we say we do. I must not be afraid or ashamed timid or intimidated by the fire upon my altar. It’s there . May the fire on my altar never burn out.
    In Jesus name.

  26. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    KEEP THE FIRE BURNING

12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

As priests of our homes it is our calling to KEEP THE FIRE BURNING on the altar of our homes and even on the altar of our lives. It is the priests/pastors responsibility to keep the wood coming and to lay out the order of the sacrifice.

I pray today is a reminder to us of our 40 Days of FIRE from back in May-June as we fast and pray for GOD to Bless our labor and preparation with HIS harvest of souls. We are believing for 1200 people in attendance and that will be a record attendance. But more importantly we are believing for at least 50 people to be filled with the Holy Ghost and at least 10 people to be baptized in the name of JESUS this week at The POFW.

If we together will KEEP THE FIRE BURNING on our personal altar then Sunday will be a HARVEST for JESUS. For the first 13 years we focused on getting the crowd to attend and we broke attendance records every year except one. However last year there was a SHIFT in the atmosphere of Western Day. When we came together to PRAY and GOD fell like FIRE on Saturday Night prayer. JESUS revealed to us what HE desires to do with this event.

Thank you for a day of Prayer and Fasting for this life changing and eternity altering opportunity to Impact Lives to Change the World beginning in Fort Worth. We do not know who will attend and that is really of no significance, but we MUST make sure there is FIRE on The ALTAR that will not burn out.

Thank you all for believing, supporting and serving. Blessings on you and yours.

  27. Leviticus 7:1
[1] Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.

[4] And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:
[30] His own hands shall bring the offerings of the Lord made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the Lord .
[36] Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

    *Jude 1:19-23 KJV
[19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. [20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, [21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. [22] And of some have compassion, making a difference: [23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

  28. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

It is our responsibility to bring a sacrifice offering to the altar everyday. How we do that is by offering God the first of our day. This supplies our altar with the wood/oil needed to keep the fire of His Spirit burning In us all day/all night long.

  29. “Meanwhile, the fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must never go out. Each morning the priest will add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering on it. He will then burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭6:12-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The priests responsibly was every morning to add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering. The fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times and never go out. We are called to be the loyal priesthood. And more that is our responsibility. Each morning we must add fresh wood to the fire!

  30. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

14 And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, before the altar.

It is a necessity to keep the fire on our altar burning AT ALL TIMES…. Fire burns out Anything that is not of God in our lives and purifies us! Thank you Lord for your blood and fire!

  31. 12. Meanwhile keep the fire on the Altar burning; it must not go out. Replenish the wood for the fire every morning…

I try really hard to make the blog my first thing to do every day. It is truly a struggle. I want the tithe of my day to be in the Lord’s presence, but I generally allow my work to take over. Overnight fires and catastrophes seem to take priority. Of course, I have reasons (excuses) and they are valid demands of my time. However, each day starts a new battle for my time and attention.

Either way, no matter where we find ourselves, we must not neglect our daily time with the Lord. We cannot allow the fire of our alter to go out.

  32. Leviticus 6:13, “The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.”

How often have we sung, talked, and blogged about this, “The fire on our altar should never burn out. It should always be burning.” Day and Night, Night and Day.

The only way we are going to KEEP the “fire on our altar burning” (the Fire of the Holy Ghost in our life) Day and Night, Night and Day is …
    KEEP Praying
    KEEP Fasting
    KEEP Reading God’s Word
    KEEP Going To Church
    KEEP Living For God

  33. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
    2 If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;
3 Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:
4 Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,
5 Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
6 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:
7 And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

Though all the instances relate to our neighbour, yet it is called a trespass against the Lord. Though the person injured be mean, and even despicable, yet the injury reflects upon that God who has made the command of loving our neighbour next to that of loving himself. Human laws make a difference as to punishments; but all methods of doing wrong to others, are alike violations of the Divine law, even keeping what is found, when the owner can be discovered. Frauds are generally accompanied with lies, often with false oaths. If the offender would escape the vengeance of God, he must make ample restitution, according to his power, and seek forgiveness by faith in that one Offering which taketh away the sin of the world. The trespasses here mentioned, still are trespasses against the law of Christ, which insists as much upon justice and truth, as the law of nature, or the law of Moses.

  34. 12 Meanwhile, the fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must never go out. Each morning the priest will add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering on it. He will then burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. 13 Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.

Let the fire in my alter never burn out! The importance of talking to God from the moment we open our eyes. If it weren’t for Him we wouldn’t be able to do anything. With just a command our bodies can freeze and die but the same way He Can open the eyes, heal sickness, heal the broken wounds, heal hearts, and anything!! My God can do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!!! Don’t let go of your relationship with God for anything else. It’s not worth it!!

  35. 13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

Don’t forget to place God first in your life. Don’t miss prayer or reading and memorizing His word. We need it to keep the fire going. Without it, we’re spiritually dead and cold. “It shall NEVER go out.” Staying connected with God helps us find His will for our lives and it gives us strength in times of trials and temptations. We NEED His fire.

  36. “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Give Aaron and his sons the following instructions regarding the burnt offering. The burnt offering must be left on top of the altar until the next morning, and the fire on the altar must be kept burning all night. In the morning, after the priest on duty has put on his official linen clothing and linen undergarments, he must clean out the ashes of the burnt offering and put them beside the altar. Then he must take off these garments, change back into his regular clothes, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is ceremonially clean. Meanwhile, the fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must never go out. Each morning the priest will add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering on it. He will then burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. Remember, the fire must be kept burning on the altar at all times. It must never go out.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭6:8-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The long-burning character of the burnt offering is an appropriate illustration of the work of giving ourselves completely to God.

  37. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

14 And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, before the altar.
Because nobody is perfect God already had it thought out on sacrifices.
The New Testament makes a similar statement in light of the New Covenant, found in 1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But we have to turn away from any bad habits, in order for us to be able to keep growing in Jesus. We can’t keep committing the same sin over and over then expect for God to keep moving mountains in our life. He will be the last to judge us but also show us an everlasting love, so why would we want keep dragging ourselves though the mud?

  38. 13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

We must not let the fire of the altar go out. We must keep it burning. The enemy will try to get you to let the fire die out, but this should not be so with the children of God. When we keep our fire lit, we can do great things in God. Our strength is renewed with the fire of God.

  39. 13The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

May the Fire of My Altar never go out. Make us a house of prayer and let the fire of the Holy Ghost come done.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  40. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

First the Kingdom. The fire upon the altar shall never be put out. And here we see a great practice to keep it burning. In the morning. So first out on some Word and some prayer every morning that your fire will be continually burning. So in the morning, first add some fuel to the fire. At night add some fuel to the fire.

  41. 28 But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

    Y’all wash y’alls dishes! 😆

Our burnt offering was to give ourselves and the peace offering was to make us whole. Confessing and praising continually adds wood to the fire. Our peace offering adds to us what we lack and the fat drippings is the fuel. Through faith we are able to completely surrender and be made fat…..
Proof that faith makes you fat

He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat.
    Proverbs 28:25 KJV

  42. I don’t have any specific scripture for this chapter, but something I get from this chapter is that God is very specific in his way he wants things done. God has set a plan for salvation and wants people to receive the Holy Ghost and be baptized. I’ve learned not to question God and how he has set things in place. My God knows what to do and what he has done!

  43. 13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

Day and Night and Night and Day, make me a house of praise. May the fire on my altar never go out, make me a house of prayer.

20 This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the Lord in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

Not only does it mentioning giving ten percent, but it also mentions bringing half of that ten percent in the morning and bringing at night. Our Pastor feeds us with the word, it is our job to ensure pastor is fed as well.

  44. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

We have the duty to do what it takes daily to keep our fire burning. Its such a beautiful thing to be that close to God, to have a personal relationship with Him! To make it out daily bread.
Thank you Jesus for the Fire!

  45. “Give Aaron and his sons the following instructions regarding the burnt offering. The burnt offering must be left on top of the altar until the next morning, and the fire on the altar must be kept burning all night.
    Leviticus 6:9 NLT

The need for daily prayer is crucial in the life of a believer. It will make or break someone’s Salvation and Spiritual walk. It is not only our main line to Jesus, but our LIFELINE as well! Hallelujah! Thank you, God for allowing us access to Your Splendid Throne Room. We exhalt You, Oh God! You are our Mighty King!!

  46. Meanwhile, the fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must never go out. Each morning the priest will add fresh wood to the fire and arrange the burnt offering on it. He will then burn the fat of the peace offerings on it.
    Leviticus 6:12 NLT

The only way to keep the fire burning is by adding fresh fuel to it. That is fresh word, prayer, praise, worship and consecration. He will provide the anointing.

  47. 13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

The way we pray and praise is defiantly fire to our altar but what about our sacrifices. We have an opportunity coming up to sacrifice some time talent and treasure. Our alter should be glowing hot the next couple of days for sure. We are praying for a God harvest like never before and we are going to put the sacrifice on that fire with our hard work and money. God is going to bless this! Western Day is going to ignite a holy party in the heavens!

  48. 12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

What a great reminder of First Fire. The candle was a reminder to keep the fire that is within us burning. To be intentional about our relationship with God by keeping Coals on the altar.

  49. 13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

The principle behind this, never let the HG fire burn out!

If we treat our infilled body’s like we do our gas tanks, then most people just put enough to get them going again.

Just put $20 in it! Are we satisfied with but barley enough, when God wants to pour out abundantly. Do we get a taste or do we want him to over flow?

The FIRE on my alter will never go out!

  50. 5 or anything obtained by swearing falsely. You must make restitution by paying the full price plus an additional 20 percent to the person you have harmed. On the same day you must present a guilt offering. 6 As a guilt offering to the LORD, you must bring to the priest your own ram with no defects, or you may buy one of equal value.

Yes, payback is very tough. If you get caught, you gotta pay an additional 20% interest charge, wow. Better to go ask for help when needed, and you’ll be surprised how blessed you’ll be.

  51. “And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar. And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭6:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You can’t be holy when your dealing with sin. Not even someone else’s sin. You ha e to put off the holiness that God God called you out of.
