Leviticus 9

And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.

And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the Lord will appear unto you.

And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the Lord commanded.

Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

10 But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the Lord commanded Moses.

11 And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.

12 And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.

13 And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

14 And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.

15 And he brought the people’s offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

16 And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.

17 And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

18 He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,

19 And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:

20 And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

21 And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the Lord; as Moses commanded.

22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

  1. 5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

It is imperative that we follow the Lord’s instruction and submit ourselves to His will. We should submit ourselves to our Pastor, so that the blessings will flow down to us.

  2. 24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

The Fire of the Holy Ghost!!! I don’t know why people get a little nervous about how we react with the Holy Ghost it seems to me it has been happening that same way for centuries. My God is worth of the highest, loudest Praise, and if we fall in our faces is because of reverence to His Majesty!!! The Lord Reigns forever more!

  3. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people. 24 and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it , they shouted and fell to their faces.

  4. This chapter is captioned “The Priests Go to Work”. It is our time too, to “Go to Work” for the the Lord’s kingdom this weekend. It is our ministry, it is our privilege to be able to participate in the things God is directing us in as a church. We must never tire nor waver; but, keep pushing to W (work) O (on) R (receiving) K (knowledge). We must retain our teachable spirit at all times and continue to Go and Grow……….harvest time! First The Kingdom.

  5. 4 Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the Lord; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the Lord will appear unto you.

5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

Once we follow the instruction we were givin every thing runs smoothly. Especially for Western Day, if everyone is one accord and listen to one another everything will be fine.

  6. “And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.”

Prepared to serve to receive my blessing!
The sacrifice these people had to offer was all sent up before the Lord. The people brought the sacrifice, Aaron and Moses took care of the rest of it. The Lord obviously seen it fit to consume or the fire wouldn’t have devoured the offering. Let’s bring our best attitudes, our best work ethics, our best cowboy look we got and let’s do this for the lost. Western day is not for us it’s for the people! Pastor already said he would bless us and the word says after that blessing the glory of the Lord shall come on us. So let’s go in Jesus name.

  7. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people. I can literally hear the shouting a great shout, silence, and fall on their faces, there wasn’t no carpet, they fell on their faces to the ground. And then the rumble of praises, and the crying, the lamenting, the joy, the shouts of HALLELUJAH, God didnt have no dead service, especially when the tribe of Judah was in the house. God showed his Glory. his fire, he accepted the burnt offerings because of their obedience, the children brought everything they were instructed to, and Aaron and his son did the service in the order that was supposed to! GOD is so good, and he works in our obedience. Thank you Jesus there’s more to it than being baptized and getting the Holy Ghost, we have to live our lives in obedience to Jesus. Thank you for your word this Morning.

    First the Kingdom
    All Consuming Fire…God Is Good

  8. 5. And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

20.And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

    23. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

    24. And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

The congregation did their part and the priests did their part, so God did His part. When we work in obedience and unity, God honors our efforts and will show up and show out. This weekend will be a prime example!

  9. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    THE GLORY OF THE LORD

23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.
24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

As we seek FIRST The KINGDOM of GOD, HE will reveal to us when and if we make HIM FIRST. The Glory of the LORD will appear unto all the people. We have been Blessed and privileged to witness and be partakers of this wonderful promise on many occasions.

It is GODs pleasure to reveal HIS Glory to HIS People. When our OBEDIENCE and our SACRIFICE are acceptable in HIS sight The Glory of GOD will be revealed to us then we will SHOUT and WORSHIP HIM.

I pray that it is our earnest desire to Seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD and that HIS Glory will be revealed to all the people that attend every Sunday at The POFW. Especially this Sunday, seeing that it is the biggest Sunday of the year for us.

Lev 9:23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
Lev 9:24 And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

Wow, as I was reading this last part the revelation hit me like a lightning bolt! It was like “BOOM”. What we have been reading about is Moses following the plan of God. When he followed Gods plan there was fire that fell from heaven and the people shouted. God blesses those who follow the plan. What churches does the fire fall? Those who teach sound doctrine. The plan of salvation. Pastor said the churches that are most Apostolic are the churches that teach doctrine. The proof is found here in this chapter. Moses followed the plan of salvation and the fire fell and the people shouted.

  11. 6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

We have been given instruction, we have continued in prayer, we are uniting our work and expectations – all towards Western Day. Now the day is soon here when the glory of the Lord will appear to His people! “Reveal Your glory! We want Your glory!”

  12. 7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the Lord commanded.

When I first got in church I saw a banner the said ” everyone a minister” I remember thinking to myself that was God calling me to be a minister. Little did I know the sacrifices that would need to be made for me to carry that honor but it is always been implanted in my mind that we all have our duties to God and that is a part of the ministry. preaching on the platform is just a part of one of those things. But in all that we do the Bible tells us to do it as if we were doing it unto the Lord. That is what ministers to God. Whenever we are servicing ourselves and sacrificing our flesh for God’s will to be done

  13. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

We are not told what Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle to do, Leviticus 9:23. Some of the Jewish writers say, “They went in to pray for the appearance of the divine glory;” most probably they went in that Moses might instruct Aaron how to do the service that was to be done there–burn incense, light the lamps, set the show-bread, etc., that he might instruct his sons in it. But, when they came out, they both joined in blessing the people, who stood expecting the promised appearance of the divine glory; and it was now (when Moses and Aaron concurred in praying) that they had what they waited for. Note, God’s manifestations of himself, of his glory and grace, are commonly given in answer to prayer. When Christ was praying the heavens were opened, Luke 3:21. The glory of God appeared, not while the sacrifices were in offering, but when the priests prayed (as 2 Chronicles 5:13), when they praised God, which intimates that the prayers and praises of God’s spiritual priests are more pleasing to God than all burnt-offerings and sacrifices.

When we as ministers of the Gospel come together and seek first the kingdom of God, we find that will birth unity among the congregation and we will see the glory of God come down among us and bless the congregation. It is imperative to find that unity that will bring a chosen people together. We are on borrowed tome to do the mission that God called us to do. We have to find those that are lost but wanting something more than this world can offer.

Unity brings promise and promise brings power!

  14. 3 And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

if you give you will be blessed in a mighty way give more than 10 persent

  15. 7 Moses said to Aaron, “Come to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and the people; sacrifice the offering that is for the people and make atonement for them, as the Lord has commanded.” NIV

Sacrifice takes action. “come to the altar” another translation states “go to the altar”. You have to first MOVE to make a sacrifice.

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

  16. Leviticus 9
23 Moses and Aaron then went into the tent of meeting. When they came out, they blessed the people; and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.
24 Fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.

Fire came from the presence of the Lord after Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle NIV says into the tent of meeting .

We have and still are going into the tent of meeting daily into the presence of God . We the people of God now have that privilege to enter before God .All because of Jesus Christ we can now experience the Glory of God!

The presence of the Lord is here

  18. Leviticus Chapter 9 verses 1-4 is talking about is Moses passed on the eighth day then Aaron took a young calf for a burnt offering then the children of Israel got to take a calf for a burnt offering to without blemish then the bullock sacrificed a meat offering that was mingled with Oil

  19. 9:24 we all want to see, feel, experience God’s glory.

  20. 6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

Without following the Lord’s commandments and getting closer to him, we cannot see his glory.

  21. God will be glorified
Leviticus 10:3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

The Whole nation was called to be holy. A clear translation would be, “among those who approach Me I will show Myself holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored. “. Any disobedience to God’s commands detracted from His glory! Those who begin to approach God must know that He is “separate from everyone else” and must approach Him on His terms. Even in a time of great calamity, the priest of the Lord must set an example to the nation of strict obedience to the will of God : and ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle…… and lest ye die( v.7)
Nothing must be allowed to interfere with the work of the ministry.

Isaiah 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go you out from thence, touch no unclean thing, go ye our of the mist of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord.

Ezekiel 20:41 I will except you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherin ye have been scattered ; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And you should know that I am the Lord, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.

  22. 24 Fire blazed forth from the LORD’s presence and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When the people saw this, they shouted with joy and fell face down on the ground.

Lets have this same atmosphere on Western Day. Lets show our apostolic ways, come in shouting and praising God. Others will see this and they too will join in praising God.

  23. Leviticus 9:5 & 24
    5) And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.
    24) And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they SHOUTED, and fell on their faces.

Once again, we see all the congregation at the tabernacle (at church).
Verse 24 is a good verse for all those who don’t like to SHOUT at church (or won’t when asked to), that it’s okay to SHOUT at church.

    SHOUT Yes!
    SHOUT Holy!
    SHOUT Glory!
    SHOUT Hallelujah!
    SHOUT JESUS!

  24. Then Moses said to Aaron, “Come to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering to purify yourself and the people. Then present the offerings of the people to purify them, making them right with the Lord , just as he has commanded.” Fire blazed forth from the Lord ’s presence and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When the people saw this, they shouted with joy and fell face down on the ground.
    Leviticus 9:7‭, ‬24 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/lev.9.7-24.NLT

Thy kingdom come , thy will be done . In Jesus name “Let me hear from you today”

  25. 22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

After the priests and people obeyed all the instructions from Moses, God confirmed his word to the people by consuming their sacrifices himself. In case there was any doubt in the people’s minds that what they were doing was futile, God shows up and backs up everything Moses and Aaron did. This makes me reflect on what God has in store for the church at Saturday night prayer. We have labored toward a harvest in our community and I believe God has something special to confirm we are in his will.

  26. 5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

The fire always falls when there has been a true sacrifice offered. There obedience to the instruction of Moses, brought the glory of God to them. They were in such reverence and awe that they shouted and then fell on their faces in worship.

When we offer God a true sacrifice of repentance, or a true sacrifice of praise it will endear His presence and glory to us. It should take us to the same state that it did the Israelites, shouts of joy and then true bowed down in reverence on our faces worship.

  27. 7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the Lord commanded.

8 Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

9 And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

10 But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the Lord commanded Moses thank you Jesus

  28. 24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

Such seemingly tedious work to us can actually have great spiritual reward if done out of obedience. To have the Hand of God over us as we go into the trials, struggles and battles of life is too precious to gamble with. Our obedience is tested everyday in who God has called us to be, that obedience is rewarded far above any sacrifice we could make. Some times just doing what were told pays off. Hahaha. But notice through all the rituals God has commanded what does He do…….? He answers by FIRE! my question is what may have gone stagnant in our lives because we’re waiting on God to move but he gave us instruction first and we’re not being obedient? Some times God won’t answer until we prove our obedience and work by our faith in Him.

  29. Leviticus 9 –
    More Sanctification of Priests

    A. Introduction: God calls Aaron a minister.

    1. (1) Moses calls Aaron and his sons.
    On the eighth day, Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

    2. (2) Offerings for Aaron.
And he said to Aaron, Take a calf for atonement from the cow, and a ram for a burnt offering, without fault, and offer them before the Lord.

    2. (7) Aaron begins to minister to the people.

    3. (8-14) Aaron offers a sacrifice for his own sin, along with a holocaust.
Then Aaron approached the altar and slaughtered the calf of the atonement that was for him.

    4. (15-21) Aaron offers a sacrifice from the people.

    5. (22-24) God blesses Israel with a demonstration of His glory.
Then Aaron raised his hands to the people and blessed him; and after making the atonement, the holocaust and the peace sacrifice descended.

  30. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their

The presence or the fire of Lord will always appear where the people are working together in unity and in obedience. And when His presence shows up, it will cause lives to fall on their faces in reverence to Him!

I believe Western Day will be a testament to this!

  31. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.
24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
    Leviticus 9:23-24

God proved His presence by sending the fire. The priests were there, the offering was there, the Tabernacle was there, and the nation was there, but it was all incomplete without the fire from God.
The Bible gives us seven examples of where God showed acceptance of a sacrifice with fire from heaven.
    Abel in Genesis 4:4
    Aaron in Leviticus 9:24
    Gideon in Judges 6:21
    Manoah in Judges 13:19-23
    David in 1 Chronicles 21:28
    Solomon in 2 Chronicles 7:1
    Elijah in 1 Kings 18:38

Fire was often associated with God’s presence and work.
“For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

John the Baptist promised Jesus would come with a baptism with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Holy Spirit manifested His presence on the day of Pentecost by tongues of fire
“And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:49‬ ‭KJV‬

Though this consecration ceremony has a spiritual application to us, we obviously were not literally consecrated to the priesthood through this ceremony. Yet our priesthood is real and after the pattern of the priesthood of Jesus, who never went through such a ceremony. The priesthood of Jesus was based on an oath, as in Hebrews 7:21-22

“(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:21-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This Western Day God will also show His Presence with Fire 🔥 of the Holy Ghost.

  32. 22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

Moses and Aaron blessed the people with their offerings and sacrifices. Just as Pastor blesses our offerings as we give to ministers and evangelists. Once our Pastor has blessed us His glory will appear. We can then see the blessings of the outcome.

24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

God consumes our sacrifice. As many chapters as we have talked about sacrifice and the importance of sacrifice do Not let anyone tell you that sacrifice is not important. God consumes our sacrifice. Just as when we give or make vows in a service, we can feel and see the glory and we shout and fall on our faces around the altar. This is yet another example of living in His presence.

  33. LAS PRIMERAS OFRENDAS DE ARÓN POR EL Y POR EL PUEBLO. – LEVITICO 9:1-2

  34. 3 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

    Exodus 24:17
17 And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

    2 Corinthians 3:18
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The glory of the Lord is so awesome that they had to hide their eyes from the sight of it because it was like devouring fire, but they knew what it could do and how awesome it was and that they couldn’t deny it, and when we are filled with the Holy Ghost we should have the same glory in our lives and it should shine for all to see that people around us know that we have something they want and need. That is how we become a lighthouse for people around us and they are drawn in.

  35. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

  36. 7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the Lord commanded.

Aaron has to seek atonement for himself first then for the people. Obviously Aaron was not perfect and needed atonement also. We cannot help anyone else until we atone for ourselves first.

  37. 22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

Only by blood was sin forgivin, to surrender to his will is to sacrafice your own, and only by his love and peace are we made whole and are able to have Christ, his spirit abides in us. Surround us. We can sing his praises because we will forever be in his glory!!!

  38. We must be obedient, humble ourselves, and sacrifice to the will of God and his kingdom.

  39. 22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

The fire came down. Their obedience to the things the Lord commanded resulted in that the Lord had respect unto the offering came and consumed it.
Yet out of all this, what stood out the most was that position which Aaron now held. Yes this is the same Aaron which built a golden calf in the wilderness and caused the people of Israel to sin greatly. This is the same which brought shame and and his own hands made something abominable before the Lord. But God, who is rich in mercy. God can use anyone who truly repents and turns to Him. Yes we all make mistakes some are bigger than others, yet we serve the same God. All he needs to work with is a willing and obedient heart.

  40. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.

24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

They were blessed and the glory of the Lord made a stong presence!!!!
Same today because God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow!!!!!

  41. 6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.
7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the Lord commanded.

Thank God for the Blood. When we look at all that they had to do before they were able to see what Alvarado had to offer.

  42. “And Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do so that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.” Then Moses said to Aaron, “Come to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering to purify yourself and the people. Then present the offerings of the people to purify them, making them right with the Lord, just as he has commanded.””
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭9:6-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“Fire blazed forth from the Lord’s presence and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When the people saw this, they shouted with joy and fell face down on the ground.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭9:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Obedience is that way to see the Glory of the Lord. When Aaron was obedient that’s when the fire fell and it was followed by joy and true worship.

  43. 6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you.

Directions…..GOD IS SO MERCIFUL AND FAITHFUL!!! Some arent interested in the glory…… obedience is better than sacrifice!!!

  44. Process

[14] And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.
[21] And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the Lord ; as Moses commanded.
[23] And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.
[24] And there came a fire out from before the Lord , and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

    “”Matthew 15:17-18,31 KJV
[17] Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? [18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. [31] Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
