Leviticus 15

And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.

Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.

And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

And what saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue shall be unclean.

10 And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

11 And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

12 And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

13 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

14 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:

15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord for his issue.

16 And if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

17 And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.

18 The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.

19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.

20 And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.

21 And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

22 And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

23 And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.

24 And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.

25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.

26 Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.

27 And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

28 But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.

29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

30 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the Lord for the issue of her uncleanness.

31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

32 This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;

33 And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.

  1. Can you imagine the responsibility that the priests took on themselves to go in before the Holy Place and place a sacrifice before the Lord for someone else’s sin? Once again, I’m thankful that I have full access to the altar of God.

  2. 6 And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
7 And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even

Whoa!!! Wow!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! Imagine if we were under the law…. how many times and how many people would need tio shower from cleaning the sanctuary, oh wait imagine how long it would take!!! Hospitality what!!! Not that i am perfect by any means but who could we hug? There would be d.o much time wasted without THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!! THANK YOU DADDY FOR YOUR BLOOD ON CALVARY!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

  3. 31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

Thank you God for your mercy and patience .

  4. Verse 31 MSG “You are responsible for keeping the People of Israel separate from that which makes them ritually unclean, lest they die in their unclean condition by defiling my Dwelling which is among them.” Same verse NIV “‘You must keep the Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place,[b] which is among them.’” Same verse ERV “So you must warn the Israelites about being unclean. If you don’t warn the people, they might make my Holy Tent unclean. And then they would have to die!”

We must take on this responsibility of separating ourselves from being unclean (not only from bodily discharges; but, our lives). We must warn others of the things that are unclean (this world) and show them what can make them whole again…..the blood of Jesus. We must also remember to stay focused on the Lord and don’t look back as Lot’s wife did, for nothing in the past is worth losing your soul.

  5. 30 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the Lord for the issue of her uncleanness.
31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

Thank God for Calvary! All I can think of is this song that thanks God for the blood, bc it washes white as snow. The blood of Christ purifies us ceremoniously and keeps us near his side. We are beyond blessed not to be considered unclean and no longer under the law.

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
    Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
    No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

  6. 19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.

20 And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.

21 And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

After reading this all I could think was about the woman with the issue of blood. 12 years she has been considered unclean. For 12 years she must of lived alienated from everyone. Can you imagine the fear she must of felt going outside her safe zone into a crowd in that manner and was it the issue of uncleanliness that made JESUS so aware of her touch? Her joy must of been static when she could go home and love on everyone after washing and waiting until the evening. Thanks to Jesus she can hug, love, laugh, and enjoy her family and friends without any fears or condemnations.

Luke 8: 43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

  7. This is how you will guard the people of Israel from ceremonial uncleanness. Otherwise they would die, for their impurity would defile my Tabernacle that stands among them.
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭15:31‬ ‭NLT‬‬

His Holy Place is to remain holy and separated from all uncleanliness. As the temple of God ourselves, I believe He would expect the same sanctification. We must remain holy so He has a place within us to dwell.

    1 Corinthians 6:
    19. Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,

  9. Leviticus 15:31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

I Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God,him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

  10. This chapter is symbolic of the fact that sinners should be washed in order to be clean. Our uncleaness is known as sin, and our cleaning comes by being washed in the blood of Jesus as symbolized by water baptism.

  11. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

Can you imagine the need for one under the law to be clean. Through every issue of life God spoke to Moses and Aaron about cleansing the unclean issues. He states the amount of time that person man or woman has to be separated from everyone else.

What time if we were still under the law and not under grace, how often we would be unclean by touching others that we have prayed for in the sanctuary and how many times we would have to cleanse ourselves according to what God had spoken in this chapter.

Thank God that we have been ultimately cleaned and washed by the blood of the Lamb. That blood that has washed us whiter than snow. Just imagine the filthiest of sinners and we have to pray that they would allow God to wash them and clean them to rid the uncleanliness. I have found that when we go to the altar each time seeking first the kingdom of God, we get that refreshing that we need for our souls to be clean everyday. Let the glory of God transform you when you seek his face.

  12. Leviticus 15
31 “You are responsible for keeping the People of Israel separate from that which makes them ritually unclean, lest they die in their unclean condition by defiling my Dwelling which is among them.

And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, Be saved from this perverse generation.

Great responsibility lies upon the Pastor of a congregation. His responsibility is to lead us to Heaven. Our responsibility is to adhere to what he is teaching for us to get there.

  13. It is important to watch what you do and where you go. God gave specific instructions on what to do and what not to do. With instructions so plain, it still amazes me how many people have trouble understanding the things that God is against. If we are to get to heaven, we need to follow the instructions God has already laid out. There are no shortcuts when going to heaven.

  14. A time of separation for being clean is important. When this was given the people were talking about being separate in the physical. There are also times where people need to be separate in the spiritual. If someone has a bad spirit and it has an issue that runs out of it, it would be a good time for them to be separate for a week. I’m not saying for them not to come to church, but when you do come, try to refrain from interaction -especially about the issue- as your issue could infect others around you if you share it. It’s important to keep praising God and going to heartbreak word with those in the kingdom as your healing is waiting for you I. His presence.

  15. Leviticus 15

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

3 And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.

4 Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.

  16. 31 thus shall ye separate the children of Israel, from their uncleanness that they die not in their uncleanness whe the defile my tabernacle that is among them.
    ——-

We are this Tabernacle now, we are His Temple now.
Let us be a clean temple where He can dwell. And that we may perceive his presence all the time.

  17. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    DONT TOUCH IT

10 And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

Holiness is a very important discipline of the christian lifestyle. We learn through these Levitical laws the impotance to GOD of Holiness. Being separate or set apart from.

The will of GOD is that we do not touch the unclean. The Apostle Paul clarifies even to the New Testament church:

2Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

We should be very prayerful about what we engage in, participate with and associate ourselves with.

Well…you know what, I reckon we all have issues. I can imagine the priests (the righteous ones) walking around on eggshells trying to keep every rule and every statute in order to keep clean. I can also imagine the not so righteous priests trying to “appear” to be righteous in men’s sight by trying to appear to be “clean”. Regardless, this law was ordained of God for one reason…to reveal to everyone how impossible it was to “remain clean” of oneself. You might say, “What do you mean?” Paul describes the law’s purpose was to prove we couldn’t keep it so that we would know we always needed redemption. In other words, God knew it would be impossible to stay 100% clean 100% of the time. The law was there to prove we needed God’s redemption. This is what is so compelling about the parable of the good Samaritan. The priests walked by on the other side of the road in order to stay “clean”. If they touched the beaten man, they would be ritually unclean. But the Samaritan chose to love the inquired man and help him regardless of becoming unclean or not.

If the priests would have understood the purpose of the law, they would have helped the fallen man beat by thieves. Yes they would have been unclean till even, but their hearts would have been pure at least. Not only that, but it wouldn’t be long till they came across something else that would have made them unclean again anyway.

We all have issues, we all need Jesus

  19. “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean. And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness. Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.”

When reading this and then thinking in comparison to sin. It’s so much alike. Sin will ultimately root to pride but the extension of pride are used through fleshy desires. Like list, greed, anger, etc. I read that when these things begin to take over your flesh is being controlled by these things. It’s spirits of this world, those particular things can be contagious to others, especially empty vessels that’s why it’s important to stay full of the Holy Ghost especially when our flesh is weak, so like states of sleep deprivation or just being tired in general or drained from working. During those times we have to be spiritually strong and filled with Holy Ghost key is prayer in the morning and the lock is prayer at night. Your secured through relationship with Christ.

  20. Leviticus 15:31 [ Amp] Thus you separate the Israelites from their uncleanness lest they die in their uncleanness by defiling My tabernacle that is in the midst of them. We all need spiritual cleaning for souls to stay holy and clean. To do this we must repent everyday and be fed by word of the Lord. Nothing but the blood of Jesus washes away our sins. God salvation and his healing is waiting for you! Keep on believing and trusting in him. Keep praising him through bad times and good times. Thank you Jesus for grace and mercy.

  21. There is no good thing in our flesh!

5 And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

The definition of carnality is trying to do a spiritual thing in your flesh. The Bible tells us to walk in the spirit and take on the nature of Christ and to abide in Him as He is in the father. So when we call ourselves Christian yet we are walking in the flesh we are unclean. Very thing we touch sit on or do is considered unclean and anyone that touched us or the things we’ve touch or participate with us in a fleshly way is unclean.

So we must be careful to daily walk in the spirit and allow the spirit of God to flow through us and not direct others into a unclean life. The great thing is that we have him living inside us so He is directing our steps we just have to allow Him to lead and be obedient enough to follow.

  22. 27 And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

The laws of clean and unclean were tedious and many, but can you imagine if they were not instructed to wash up, to bathe? Disiease would be prevelant. They had very specific instructions to go by for every possible situation. While we all should bathe daily 😊, I am thankful that Jesus has fulfilled the law. I’m thankful that by his stripes we were healed. Someone once said cleanliness is next to godliness and I can see that in this chapter.

  23. 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
3 And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.

An issue in our flesh, in these times it meant something different, but the parallel makes so much sense. When we have an “issue in our flesh”, whether it be an issue with someone else that has done us wrong, an gossiping issue, a holiness issue(longing and wanting to be like the world), etc. it is a problem that we need to take care of. Because as this passage states . . . . it makes us unclean. Any issue of the flesh results in a person being unclean.

4 Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.

So much so that everything that person touches is unclean. Again, this makes sense because as you have a issue with someone that did you wrong, you then proceed to have a bad attitude and carry yourself negatively — UNCLEAN. As you have a issue with someone and gossip about different things, you not only are talking negatively about people but you are spreading that negativity and decent to those you gossip to — UNCLEAN. When you have a holiness issue and are longing and wanting to be like the world, so you dress differently, wear makeup or jewelry, you are going against what the Bible says — UNCLEAN. Any issue of the flesh results in a person being unclean.

Be an example, cleanse yourself of the issues of the flesh. Don’t be labeled unclean. Stay clean. Use the soap!!

  24. 31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

Participating in sin just doesn’t effect one person. You may be the one unclean with sin, but it effects those around you; your family, your coworkers, your neighbors.

What we do and how we do it so important because there are people watching our lives. When we decide to do things our own way, and make choices not aligning with the Kingdom of God, it may be the very thing that causes someone who has been watching you and deciding to follow Jesus Christ, change their mind.

We must separate ourselves from the very appearance of evil.

  25. 31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

As leaders, we put borders and rules in place to ensure we don’t fall into sin.

I was reminded of a sermon I had once heard as a teenager, he preached about the second most important decision of your life.

He used Proverbs 7:8-9 “Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:”

He preached that the man took the road to that lead to her house. Which leads him to explain why must we take the paths that make life harder? Paths that ultimately lead to death and destruction, rather placing caution in your life to keep you a safe distance from death. So that when you trip, you don’t immediately fall into death, but in a place of growth.

So even though there are times we are asked to refrain from doing certain things or go to certain places, that may not be sin or wrong, remember it could be to place guardrails in your life to give you an opportunity to fall into growth vs death.

  26. 31“This is how you will guard the people of Israel from ceremonial uncleanness. Otherwise they would die, for their impurity would defile my Tabernacle that stands among them.

Wow, what a chapter! Bottom line, keep your personal hygiene maintained. Be clean and smell good at all times.Spiritually stay clean, by prayer, worship, and reading the Word.

  27. LEVITICO 15: 31-33

  28. 31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

    32 This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;

33 And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.

To remain “clean” of sin in the world we live in today, we have to live a life of separation. We have to abide in Jesus.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
    ‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:7-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  29. Leviticus 15:4-7
4)Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
    5) And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
    6) And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
    7) And he that toucheth the flesh on him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.

Its amazing how clean you can feel, but once you touch something that is “unclean” and get a spot on you, how dirty you feel.
The “clean” person couldn’t touch anything that the “unclean” person lied on, sat on, or even touch the “unclean” person’s flesh for they would be considered “unclean.”

I suppose that’s why we are told in 2 Cor. 6:17, “… touch not the unclean thing;…” and in James 1:27, “… keep himself unspotted from the world,” because we are clean and holy before God, and once we touch things of this world, we get a spot on us, and we become “unclean” in the eyes of God.

Remember Ephesians 5:27, “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, no having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

  30. Leviticus 15:
This chapter has to do with physical impurities. The purpose of these regulations is in the ver. 31, “Thus you shall turn away the children of Israel from their impurities, that they may not die for their impurities because they have defiled my tabernacle that is among them.”

    B. The chapter deals with excretions that result from diseases of procreation organs and even their normal function.

    C. The main point of this chapter, as also in chapters 11-14, is that everything that God calls “unclean” was to be treated in the manner explained in these instructions, and all regulations prescribed by God were to be diligently practiced to avoid filth as much as possible and cleanse it when it was too late to avoid it.

15: 3-12 – The person who had semen flow was unclean and contaminated the bed,

any seat occupied by him, and whoever touches his bed, etc.

15: 13-15 – The purification of it, and the sacrifices it should offer.

15:16, 17 – “When the man had semen emission …” The “semen flow” (ver. 2) was a disease, but “semen emission” was not.

15:18 – “And when a man lies with a woman and has semen emission …” This text explains other texts: Ex. 19:15; 1 Sam. 21: 5, 6; 2 Sam. 11: 4. The sexual act did not contaminate, but the “emission of semen”.

15: 19-30 – The impurity of the woman with blood flow. Compare Mat. 9: 20-22. Touching Jesus would have contaminated him according to this law, but Jesus’ divine power healed him of his illness. The extent of contamination is seen in verses. 20-23. Compare verses. 4-10

15:33 – “and for those who suffer from their habit” , the normal monthly function of the female body. The chapter deals with both normal and abnormal functions

  31. You cannot do the things of God with the power of the flesh it’s unclean…

[11] And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even. [12] And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

    **Mark 5:25-28 KJV
[25] And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, [26] And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, [27] When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. [28] For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

  32. This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith; And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.
    Leviticus 15:32‭-‬33 KJV

Basically anything that comes out of the body is due to an issue, if you have an oozing sore its oozing fo a reason. and it may be infected, back then they didnt know the difference so I beleive all of this is to keep chaos at bay, God is a God of order. As far as the flowers, they didnt have the resources women do now, so it probably just was a messy situation, and God set them apart during that time as to not let them be shame, and it’s good that they had to cleanse themself and the seven days after was more likely to make sure they were finished. And not to mention pain comes along with it for most women.

    First the Kingdom
when it’s time to sit down…God is Good

  33. 32 This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;

33 And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.

Do as the law states; that is the law of God. Now however to be unclean before God is not good. We want to be clean and pure before the almighty. Am I, no. I keep tripping myself up. I know what needs to be done, but I don’t do it. Why; that is a good question. I need to step back and remember where I came from; do I want that lifestyle again. What did I gain from it; um zero. I want to be pure and clean before the Great I Am. WAKE UP!!!!!; how are you going to Heaven when you can’t be obedient to the simplest of tasks that God gives you. Lord help me today to live according to your word and be obedient to it. Cleanse me today.

  34. 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

The only blood that is clean is Jesus blood that was shed for you and me. But not only was it blood but water came out of Him. So if He were to live under the law, he would have been unclean. It took a clean man to take away the uncleaness by dying and becoming the quintessential of uncleaness because he took all that was unclean.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God

  35. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.

Repeatedly we are seeing the same theme, God speaks to the man Of God about the people he is overseeing. Why then do so many “churches “ teach such division in having anyone who “feels” something, interrupt the man of God to share their two cents?

  36. 31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

Do not defile the temple of God. We learn from the new testament that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and also to present our bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto the Lord which is our reasonable service.

We read here about the law for them that have an issue of flow and how to wash from their uncleanness.

In proverbs we learn to keep our hearts with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.
The way to keep our temples clean is to keep our hearts clean. And how do we do that?

The psalmist puts it this way:

Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Psalms 119:9

  37. Life watch.

We read all the precautions that were taken to ensure that the people stayed clean and free from sickness. Every minister was in life watch. We have to use this same attitude with our walk with God. We have to keep watch not only over ourselves but over our church family.

  38. 31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.

God wants us to separated from the unclean .

  39. ““ ‘Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, and anything he sits on will be unclean. Anyone who touches his bed must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening. Whoever sits on anything that the man with a discharge sat on must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭15:4-6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

When I read this section it reminded me of the story of King Midas and how everything he touched turned to gold. He had no absolute control of it, he could t choose what would be gold and what wouldn’t. He couldn’t make it stop for anything.

This is the same way with a disease, anything that would come near it and touch it turned into cold.

If we allow people with the same type of attitude to go around touching unclean things those spirits and attitudes will follow and if left unattended will lead to a very long small death.

  40. 16 And if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

Long before…thousands of years before…the idea of microscopes and microorganisms and many of their devastating fruits were discovered, God gave commandments, safeguards. Unfortunately, man disobeyed and continues to disobey them.

The safeguards that God put in place concerning the seed of copulation such as body bathing, garment washing and quarantine were all designed to break the chain of infection.

For those that say the Bible shouldn’t be literally, your obeying Gods commands and don’t even know it!
