Leviticus 19

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, ye shall offer it at your own will.

It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.

Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the Lord: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.

11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord.

15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord.

17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.

19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

20 And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

21 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.

22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the Lord for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the Lord withal.

25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the Lord your God.

26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.

29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.

31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord.

33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the Lord.

    Proverbs 16:31-32 KJV
[31] The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness. [32] He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

    Exodus 16:14,33 KJV
[14] And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. [33] And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the Lord , to be kept for your generations.

    Isaiah 46:4-13 KJV
[4] And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you : I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you . [5] To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like? [6] They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship. [7] They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble. [8] Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors. [9] Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, [10] Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: [11] Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it , I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it , I will also do it. [12] Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness: [13] I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

    Ephesians 4:32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

    1 Peter 3:8
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

    1 John 3:23
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

In a world full of hatred and confusion, it is still the greatest commandment to LOVE God and LOVE one another. Help me to love others as Christ.

    • Truly well spoken . My prayer as well to love others as Christ does. Seeing through His eyes and see within the soul the pain that is reflecting from them and know that we have been given a true gift to share . Even in our own times of sorrow. His love shines through. Thank you for the reminder .

  3. 2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.
3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God

This is almost the purpose of man. To walk with God and to be holy as he is Holy. To understand each statute has a purpose, every law that was given is all directed to this. Being holy it’s just about walking upright lie. Of course we understand that God does not expect us to be perfect (one without mistakes) but does require us to be perfected (crafted and matured). We are to walk uprightly and to listen to the Holy Ghost got us inside of us that we may be crafted in his image and holiness

  4. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

It is required that Israel be a holy people, because the God of Israel is a holy God. Their being distinguished from all other people by peculiar laws and customs was intended to teach them a real separation from the world and the flesh, and an entire devotedness to God. And this is now the law of Christ (the Lord bring every thought within us into obedience to it!) You shall be holy, for I am holy. We are the followers of the holy Jesus, and therefore must be, according to our capacity, consecrated to God’s honour, and conformed to his nature and will. Israel was sanctified by the types and shadows, but we are sanctified by the truth, or substance of all those shadows, John 17:17,Titus 2:14.

    1Pet 1:15-16: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

    1 Peter 2:9-10 states-
9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

We have been blessed to be the people of the living God. During this particular chapter, God has reminded Moses to speak again to the children of Israel to remind them of the commandment that were to be honored and followed. Just like today we are to be the separate and come out from among the world. We can not allow anything to tarnish our love for God and to corrupt our relationship. We have to heed every word of God and obey it. It is better to listen and obey than to live wreck less and not do what is commanded. We have to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. He will honor our obedience.

  5. 14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the Lord.

I once was teaching a bible study about speaking in tongues and someone told me that I shouldn’t put a stumbling block in front of him. My response was that I needed to teach the truth because if not I would be responsible for his soul. I continue my bible study letting them know that they must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. It is our responsibility to tell the truth to everyone!!!! Let it be the blind (in spirit), the deaf, or anyone else!!!! You can go around not caring if they know the truth or not. You must GO AND TELL EVERYONE ABOUT TRUE SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST!!

  6. Leviticus 19
33 “‘When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. 34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God

    Matthew 28
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    Revelation 7:9
9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

America is filled with every nation . Fort Worth is filled with every nation. POFW is being filled with a multitude of nations and people from every walk of life. We are admonished to be mindful of them. Not to mistreat them . They are coming they are already here . Will we help them lead them encourage them Love then as our self?

“‘Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the Lord.

17 “‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt.

18 “‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.

Matters of the heart . We pray unity we outwardly display what looks grand but where is our heart. Do we truly seek after God’s will . This chapter is filled with a multitude of commandments. Easily read yet the trueness can only be revealed in our own life and heart within. Are we truly being holy as God asks us to be.
Thank God for His grace and mercy we all fall short of the righteousness of God. To worship Him is To live for Him . Obedience comes from something than just following a set of rules it all goes back to
1 Corinthians 13. I can do a lot sacrifice til there is nothing left to sacrifice but without love it is all in vain. So all said again daily searching daily allowing God to search us daily seeking His will . Father help the choices I make please You for in the end it is all that matters. These scriptures Lord your mandates of loving and not mistreating others goes deep. I pray that my actions and heart is filled with your love

    You are holy God .

19 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: ‘Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.

  7. Have you ever been scared to be rescued because you didn’t know where you’re going to go from there…….Or have you ever been rich and lost everything, so now you’re poor and afraid to become rich because of what you may lose…
God never said (I am the Lord your God in the good times)
Sometimes letting go of fear feels like a sacrifice..Psalm 139:1 KJV O Lord , thou hast searched me, and known me .

[4] Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.
🎯5] And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord , ye shall offer it at your own will.
💛 9] And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.
    Leviticus 19:10 KJV
💛10] And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.

    Isaiah 28:13 KJV
[13] But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

    Psalm 139:1-24 KJV
[1] O Lord , thou hast searched me, and known me . [2] Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. [3] Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. [4] For there is not a word in my tongue, but , lo, O Lord , thou knowest it altogether. [5] Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. [6] Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. [7] Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? [8] If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there . [9] If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; [10] Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. [11] If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. [12] Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee . [13] For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. [14] I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. [15] My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. [16] Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. [17] How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! [18] If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. [19] Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. [20] For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. [21] Do not I hate them, O Lord , that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? [22] I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. [23] Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: [24] And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

  8. Leviticus 19:4, “Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.”

    “What Do We Know”
1 Corinthians 8:4 says, “… we know that an idol is NOTHING in the world, and that there is none other GOD but ONE.” His name is JESUS!

So Thankful that I Know JESUS!
He’s the ONE true living God
He’s the ONE true living God
He’s the ONE true living God
    He reigns
    He’s an Awesome God

  9. 4. Do not put your trust in idols or make metal images of gods for yourselves. I am the LORD your God. NLT

Anything you worship, and anything or anyone you trust more than God becomes an idol. What an insult to God to give credit to something He created for something He did.

    Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. KJV

  10. “You must be careful to keep all of my decrees and regulations by putting them into practice. I am the Lord .”

They didn’t have the privelage of God dwelling in them to guide them. That’s why the statutes were so important. That’s why Jesus said he didn’t come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.

  11. 32“Stand up in the presence of the elderly, and show respect for the aged. Fear your God. I am the LORD.

Lack of respect for elders of the church, home and at work. I see more of it from the younger generation, youth and adults, on how they speak to elders. Even if the elder is wrong, don’t disrespect them by speaking harshly to them. Learn self-control and walk away. Be patient and kind to your elders!

  12. 2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.
3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.
4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

A brief abstract to the chapter of what God desires. Because He is God, we shall do these things and much more; He’s worthy of our time and commitment!

  13. iLove the Kingdom
Lev 19:23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
Lev 19:24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.

We’ve been in this new building 3 years going into the 4th year. I believe in the forth year we shall eat the fruit of the land y’all. We need to praise the Lord, God is gonna circumcise this land, the power of sin will be broken and souls shall be saved. Whaaaahhhhoooo

  14. “Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight, or volume. Your scales and weights must be accurate. Your containers for measuring dry materials or liquids must be accurate. I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt. “You must be careful to keep all of my decrees and regulations by putting them into practice. I am the Lord .”

We must be careful in how we approach those that are seeking after God. Who are we to judge the people; I know that I have made judgements before. I’m not the judge of man: I use to judge according to the lifestyle I lived. I have learned that it’s not my place to do that. God judges accordingly. We must keep His statutes and commandments if we are to see the Kingdom and eternal life. Thank you Jesus for bringing me out of judging others. What an awesome God we serve. Keep my lengths and weights in balance always.

  16. FIRST THE KINGDOM
    INTEGRITY

35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the Lord.

    The NLT reads:

35 “Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight, or volume. 36 Your scales and weights must be accurate. Your containers for measuring dry materials or liquids must be accurate.[g] I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 “You must be careful to keep all of my decrees and regulations by putting them into practice. I am the Lord.”

INTEGRITY comes to mind when I read this passage. But what exactly is INTEGRITY?

INTEGRITY – 1 : firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values : INCORRUPTIBILITY
    2 : an unimpaired condition : SOUNDNESS
3 : the quality or state of being complete or undivided : COMPLETENESS

Simply put INTEGRITY is doing the RIGHT thing ALL the Time and in EVERY Situation. INTEGRITY is doing the RIGHT and HONEST thing when no one is watching or can discern dishonesty.

INTEGRITY is a RIGHT spirit, and sincerity before GOD and HIS people.

  17. 19:14 thou shall not cursed the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the bling, but shall fear the Lord, I am the Lord.
    —-_
God bless every single blind and deaf person that have visited POFW. And I know that the body will also be blessed as we welcome them every time with such a spirit and right hearts.
God bless Jeff!!! For we believe the word we have spoken
Pastor declares it almost on every service. In Jesus name.

  18. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

This principle is how I believe Jesus wants us to treat guest that come into our worship service. We should receive them gladly regardless of race, creed or color. Jesus died for all alike. We are all just sinners saved by grace and we must never forget where Jesus brought us from, so that we give others the grace needed.

  19. 9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.

11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

We know from the book of Ruth that the poor would glean the fields for their food. God provided for those who were in need but they had to gather it themselves. He also teaches us to deal honestly with others as in vs 35-36- an honest weight! Be respectful to the elderly and so much more here in dealing in love with others following God as he commands.

  20. Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the Lord your God.

  21. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

One of the things I LOVE about my church is this. We don’t see color we just see people and love everyone that comes. The diversity at POFW is so beautiful and you don’t see it everywhere.

  22. Leviticus 19:19 ►
“ My statutes you will keep. You will not support two different kinds of your cattle; you will not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor will you wear a dress with a mixture of two kinds of material.
    Comment from Matthew Henry
19: 1-37 laws. – There are some ceremonial precepts in this chapter, but most of these precepts are binding on us, since they are the explanations of the ten commandments. Israel is required to be a holy people, because the God of Israel is a holy God, see. 2. Teach a real separation from the world and the flesh, and complete devotion to God. This is now the law of Christ; May the Lord bring all thoughts to obedience within us to him! Children must be obedient to their parents, see. 3. The fear required here includes in reverence and esteem, respect and obedience to the outside, attention in their favor and to make them easy. Only God must be worshiped, see. 4. Turn not from the true God to the false, from the God who will make you holy and happy, to those who deceive you, and you will do forever miserable. Turn on not your eyes to them, much less your heart.

  23. Let us eat

6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.

This is why Pastor is always preaching to us to get in the word of God daily. It is our daily bread. Mama ruined after the first day. This word is for us daily and will keep us daily. We should eat while it is available to us because there is a day coming that it will not be available. We should do that bible study again “ Eat this Word” it is essential to live as a Christian. Let us eat.

  24. We must not be part takers in works of iniquity. We must take part in that which is holy. Holiness is the way to get to heaven. If we can’t live holy then we won’t gain access to the kingdom. Every time we sin, it pulls us further away from God. the further away from God you are the easier it is for the enemy to snatch you up. It’s past time for us to grab a hold of God’s word and hold on to it for dear life. It does matter who and what you surround yourself with. The right choices will give you access into the kingdom of heaven.

  25. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

This is the way we are to live people. Love them the way God desires for us to love them, like they are our people. It’s easy to love those you’ve labored with grew up with and have laughed with yet God is taking us to a new level of love. Living people even when we do not know them. God them because He loves them.

  26. 2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

This may seem like a list of the to do’s and not to do’s to be holy. I’m sure they know what the word holy means. He wants to make it very clear for all to understand Gods definition. He knows some will try to find loopholes in this list but those who seek him will respect the boundaries he’s setting. Some boundaries are meant to keep things out and others to keep things in. God wants us to be like him, as children following our Father. Keeping his statues means we love him and our submission shows we trust him. After all, He is our ultimate example of holiness.

  27. And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
    Leviticus 19:33‭-‬34 KJV

This is what I love about our church, we have Guests not strangers or visitors, we treat all our first time guest with with love and compassion, we greet each one like we have known them all our life! And they are only guests for so long, because they come to a point where they are becoming apart of! That’s what made us fall in Love with POFW, the love that you feel, and if they sont feel love from us, then they need to check themselves! Because we show every guest a great first time experience at POFW!

    First the Kingdom
    No strangers here…GOD IS GOOD

  28. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

Many times people look at the what they cannot do, before they come to church, and they neglect to see that the submission that the Bible teaches, is for us to do it to show Jesus we love him.

  29. Verse 11 MSG “Don’t steal. “Don’t lie. “Don’t deceive anyone.” Don’t try and take something that does not belong to you. Don’t lie or do things to try and cover up your true motive (God sees it, anyway). Don’t deliberately deceive anyone and beware of wolves in sheeps clothing. Matthew 7:15 VOICE “Along the way, watch out for false prophets. They will come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath that quaint and innocent wool, they are hungry wolves.” We heard about this very thing tonight in service. Be alert and do not get caught in their webb of lies.

  30. In this section of scriptures Jesus continually reminds us that he is our God. There is a reason for that. If we don’t fully focus on him then we will begin to place other things in his place of importance in our lives.

  31. And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.
    Leviticus 19:10 KJV

Even the Lord cares for the stranger and poor and provides for them. How much more will He not provide for His children.

  32. Leviticus 19:33,34 Treat Strangers Kindly, the only way we will win our community, love on Bus children all ages.

And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not mistreat him. But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: Iam the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 24:17,18 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge: But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

    Never oppress the stranger

  33. ‘Now when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings (grain left after reaping) of your harvest. And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather its fallen grapes; you shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am the Lord your God.
    LEVITICUS 19:9‭-‬10 AMP

My harvest isn’t just for me but for those around me as well. When the church is blessed, the saints are blessed. And when the saints are blessed, others get caught up in the blessing as well. The same can be said if what we sow isn’t good. If the saints aren’t right, the reapping won’t be positive, and those around us, regardless of whether they are in the church or not, will be affected too.

I pray we sow on good ground and continue to prepare us for the great harvest!!
