Numbers 28

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the Lord; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.

The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;

And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.

It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord.

And the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the Lord for a drink offering.

And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:

10 This is the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

11 And in the beginnings of your months ye shall offer a burnt offering unto the Lord; two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot;

12 And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;

13 And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord.

14 And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.

15 And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto the Lord shall be offered, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

16 And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the Lord.

17 And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.

18 In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein:

19 But ye shall offer a sacrifice made by fire for a burnt offering unto the Lord; two young bullocks, and one ram, and seven lambs of the first year: they shall be unto you without blemish:

20 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil: three tenth deals shall ye offer for a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram;

21 A several tenth deal shalt thou offer for every lamb, throughout the seven lambs:

22 And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.

23 Ye shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.

24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

25 And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

26 Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the Lord, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

27 But ye shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the Lord; two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first year;

28 And their meat offering of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto one bullock, two tenth deals unto one ram,

29 A several tenth deal unto one lamb, throughout the seven lambs;

30 And one kid of the goats, to make an atonement for you.

31 Ye shall offer them beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, (they shall be unto you without blemish) and their drink offerings.

  1. 24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

    25 And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

    26 Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the Lord, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

    27 But ye shall offer the burnt offering for a sweet savour unto the Lord; two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of the first year;

    29 A several tenth deal unto one lamb, throughout the seven lambs;

    30 And one kid of the goats, to make an atonement for you.

    31 Ye shall offer them beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, (they shall be unto you without blemish) and their drink offerings.

    May the fire never burn it
    Day and Night, night and day
    May it be a continual sweet savour unto the Lord.

  2. There must be a continual offering unto the LORD day and night. No scraps of your day. But the firstfruits. For He is the great I AM, The Holy One…. why offer anything less?

    He is wonderful! Praise him and bring an offering into his temple. Worship the Lord , majestic and holy.
    1 Chronicles 16:29 CEV

  3. A daily offering Is a Life Committed to the Lord.

    2 Timothy‬ ‭1:14‬
    “That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.”
    ‭‭

  4. This whole chapter talks about the different sacrifices in the CEV: Regular Daily Sacrifices, The Sacrifice on the Sabbath, The Sacrifices on the First Day of the Month, The Sacrifices during Passover and the Festival of Thin Bread, and The Sacrifices during the Harvest Festival. This reminded me of what we spoke about in Sunday School last week: The ultimate sacrifice for the sins of the people….Jesus. Jesus was born with the express purpose of sacrificing Himself for our sins, that we could have eternal salvation. There is no greater love than the love Jesus showed us when He paid the ultimate price at Calvary.

  5. 6. It is a CONTINUAL burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord.

    10. This is the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the CONTINUAL burnt offering, and his drink offering.

    23. Ye shall offer these beside the burnt offering in the morning, which is for a CONTINUAL burnt offering.

    31. Ye shall offer them beside the CONTINUAL burnt offering, and his meat offering, (they shall be unto you without blemish) and their drink offerings.

    Hebrews 13:15
    By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God CONTINUALly, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

    Psalm 34:1
    I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall CONTINUALly be in my mouth.

  6. Numbers 28:2 [ Amp] Command the Israelites saying, My offering, My Food for My offering, My Food for My offerings made by fire, My sweet and soothing order to Me as its proper time.
    Ps 55 :16 -17 [Amp] As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord will save me.
    [ 17] Evening and morning and at noon will I utterly complaint and moan and sign. And he will hear my voice. Daily commenting ourselves to Lord
    Our sarfice of worship and praise and honer our Lord.

  7. Give these instructions to the people of Israel: The offerings you present as special gifts are a pleasing aroma to me; they are my food. See to it that they are brought at the appointed times and offered according to my instructions.
    Numbers 28:2 NLT

    Specific instructions for His offerings. He deserves the best and He expects our obedience. Everyday Lord, we will offer to You our very best!

  8. “Present a special burnt offering on that day as a pleasing aroma to the Lord. It will consist of two young bulls, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs.

    Prepare these special burnt offerings, along with their liquid offerings, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its accompanying grain offering. Be sure that all the animals you sacrifice have no defects.”
    ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭28:27, 31‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    When we give give an offering to the Lord it has to be our best. This part is what call GIVING Jesus, no one can out give the man himself. Although we could give our all, we could give our best. There really is no excuses let’s read a little about giving.

    “Then a poor widow came and dropped in two small coins. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she had to live on.””
    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭12:42-44‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    https://www.bible.com/116/mrk.12.42-44.nlt

    When you give your all like this you’re really showing Jesus who you trust!

  9. There is a sacrifice for every day! Mostly for when we sin. Aren’t you glad that Jesus was our last sacrifice and that the only sacrifice God ask of us is a sacrifice of Praise!!! A sacrifice of Praise it’s easy because He is Worthy and He is so Good to Us. He deserves IT ALL!! Let’s continue to Pray, Fast, and PRAISE HIM ABOVE ALL !! All 3 are a Praise to our God Jesus Christ amen 🙏🏻

  10. The instructions for the daily, sabbath, and monthly offerings were clear spoken from God to Moses. This was exactly given to them to follow so that all the children would have a holy convocation for the spirit of the Lord to visit them. With the Passover and the Feast of weeks to honor the things of God. They were getting back to the basics of offerings and feasts to be in obedience to God.

    How often when we first come to God, we learn what we need to do things right and give honor to the Lord, but as we grow older in the spirit, we tend to slack in what we do. Sometimes we have to be reminded that if it had not been for the Lord, we would be lost in sin and sorrow. We would not have been bought by his blood and sacrifice on the hill called Golgotha. Everything we do has purpose in the kingdom of God. We have to make sure we follow the commandments of God. Most of all give honor in the highest to the king of kings and the lord of lords. We have to live Jesus just like the they did in their offerings and feasts. We have to live Jesus to be able to give Jesus to those that need to be saved from themselves and their sins. That is our ultimate purpose in this last day.

  11. 18 In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein

    According to the definition:
    Holy:
    dedicated or consecrated to God or a religious purpose; sacred
    Convocation:
    1. Alarge formal assembly of people.
    2. The action of calling people together for a large formal assembly

    No matter how much work we do and how much we seek to accomplish we should all seek to have a dedicated time together of rejoicing. During this season of the year that is meant to celebrate the birth of our Lord it should be a time as We gather with our families and congregations at church that we just celebrate the things that God has done for us. While we may not be under the law it is something that I truly believe God still honors and calls us to do. The New testament tells us to forsake not the assembling of ourselves, welcome and against to be holy as he is Holy.

  12. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
    2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.
    3 And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the Lord; two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
    4 The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;
    5 And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.
    6 It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord.
    7 And the drink offering thereof shall be the fourth part of an hin for the one lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the Lord for a drink offering.
    8 And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even: as the meat offering of the morning, and as the drink offering thereof, thou shalt offer it, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

    God left his instructions for all of us to follow. Everyday Israel was commanded to bring a male lamb to the LORD each morning and each evening. Everyday began and ended with this sacrifice and expression of devotion to the LORD. This reminds me that it is proper to begin and end our day with an affirmation of trust to God………..
    Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:17

  13. Holy Convocation
    17-22 “For seven days, eat only unraised bread: Begin the first day in holy worship; don’t do any regular work that day.

    25 “Conclude the seventh day in holy worship; don’t do any regular work on that day.

    How far away we have gone from the reality to lay aside everything and truly worship God. A n entire day devoted to reading the word resting laying aside everything for just one day . A Holy Convocation!
    Coming together in worship laying aside the duties of regular work.
    My mind went to as a child a church we would travel to after our own worship service. It was Sunday the day of rest no regular work was to be done. Everything laid out the night before the meal prepared for Sunday already. We would load up the dinner and head to The Holy Convocation. The afternoon meal and worship with friends . We did not worry about the time nor work left undone. The day was completely set aside for worship. Sometimes if not headed to another worship then we would rest at home before the evening service. Believe it or not stores used to be closed on Sunday.
    It was a time of stopping the everyday work. We too the church have allowed time to control us tasks undone to take precedence when God is calling us just step away from the ordinary work and have a Holy Convocation……..worship and rest in the presence of God. Oh how I long for those good ole days. God help us to draw closer to you daily in our service and worship to You. Meetings can wait dishes and laundry phone calls Facebook movies and games what type of Holy Convocation would we truly have could it be the one where 3000 souls will be filled ? For just one day do no regular work . What a challenge for the world we live in.
    Holy Convocation Even the sacred has become a duty it should not be so .
    I believe the birth of Jesus proves exactly what was meant as a Holy Convocation O Holy Night Solent Night . The shepherds the wise men Mary Joseph the animals the angels all stopped their regular work at the birth of Jesus . What a Holy Convocation.
    So if I’m to Live Give Jesus I must take time for my offering of self to be still step away from regular work for the Holy Convocation.
    I pray as the time draws closer to Jesus coming we forget not to truly worship Him Christ the Lord….

  14. 4 The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even;

    5 And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.

    6 It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord.

    Praise Him in the morning.

    “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭5:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    “But unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭88:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Praise Him in the evening.

    “When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭63:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭141:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Praise Him at ALL times.

    “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭55:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  15. We must follow specific instructions from the Lord and man of God.

    Also in the day of the first fruits, when you bring a new meat of offering unto the Lord, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

    Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
    2:14 But Peter, standing up with 11, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearten to my words:

    Exodus 23:16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours , which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of in gathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

  16. iLove Jesus
    Num 28:5 And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.

    One of the most memorial services that pastor preached was the service that he beat and ground up the olive seed. The beaten oil brings the anointing. Most folk want to be anointed but they don’t want to be beaten. Most folk want good kids but they don’t want to go to the woodshed. Most folk want a good marriage but they don’t want to beat the devil out, most folk want money, but they don’t want to break a sweat.

    The beaten oil of the Holy Ghost comes when we beat this flesh into subjection.

  17. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    HIS OFFERING

    2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

    GENEROSITY is a heart condition. Generous people tend to have the attitude and approach of giving to need, cause and commitment. Giving of Time, Talent and Treasure seem to be equal and consistent.

    The LORD gives a “command” here in regard to HIS offering. One fact that stick out in my mind is that the TITHE is the LORDs

    Leviticus 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.

    Here we read that the offering is the LORD’S. Selfish people seem to be quick to skim off of the LORDS favor and Blessing, while GENEROUS people simply obey, sacrifice and give what the LORD says or prompts.

    GENEROUS people GIVE more often from their own GENEROSITY rather than from the voice of the LORD. GENEROUS people usually have their Tithe and offering ready to give, and give it joyfully and willingly to the LORD.

    iPray JESUS baptize our hearts with the gift of GENEROSITY. When we commit to pledges and giving, we are demonstrating our GENEROSITY and HIS OFFERING is from the heart and not the head.

    Be GENEROUS

  19. 31 Ye shall offer them beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, (they shall be unto you without blemish) and their drink offerings.

    This tells me God is looking for a daily relationship with him. Not a sloppy one. He wants a continual burnt offering which demonstrates our consistent submission and obedience. For our offering to be without spot or blemish means we should give our best. God doesn’t give us half-hearted old moldy healings and miracles. No he wants what is best for us and wouldn’t give his children any less. How could we cut him short?

  20. Numbers 28:3-4 (MSG)
    “Tell them, This is the Fire-Gift that you are to present to God: two healthy yearlings lambs each day as a regular Whole-Burnt-Offering. Sacrifice one lamb in the morning, the other in the evening.”

    Day and Night
    Night and Day
    May the FIRE on my altar never burn out
    Make me a house of PRAYER

  21. In today’s chapter we find various offerings and the instructions and for offering them, some monthly, some daily, some twice a daily.

    Our lives should be a continual offering unto the Lord – a daily sacrifice, continually unto the Lord.

    Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

  22. ♥️ sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in a their due season

    [13] And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord .

    22 And one goat for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you.

    Proverbs 6:31 KJV
    [31] But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.

    Luke 6:10 KJV
    [10] And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

  23. God had strict instructions on what sacrifices the Israelites needed to bring.
    25″Conclude the seventh day in holy worship; don’t do any work on that day.”
    Also we are to remember to keep the sabbath day holy. We must follow Gods rules and have rest on Sundays. Our lifes are so busy that it is easy to NOT observe the request of our Lord but we must try. We can psycological reboot by having rest. Otherwise my brain gets too fogged up. God knows what we need!

  24. God has strict instruction on what the Israelites need to bring as sacrifices. “25 Conclude the seventh day in holy worship; don’t do any work on that day.” Remember the sabbath and keep it holy. In todays hustle and bustle world we must challenge ourselves to keep the sabbath holy. God knows what we need. Personally this day helps me to clear my head and refocus. Other wise I end up with too much confusion. I reboot my self on Sunday!!

  25. Our sacrifices to the Lord should be daily, He left specifications on a daily basis to be followed. We should be obedient to his specifications and maintain our fire burning. He deserves the best from us everyday. I pray that our fire is continually burning and our sacrifices are the highest excellence to our King!

  26. 6 It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord.

    We are to bring our praise and worship daily to the Lord, offering him not only tithes, but offerings.

  27. Números 28 :1-8
    “Habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo: Manda a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Mi ofrenda, mi pan con mis ofrendas encendidas en olor grato a mí, guardaréis, ofreciéndomelo a su tiempo. Y les dirás: Esta es la ofrenda encendida que ofrecerán a Jehová: dos corderos sin tacha de un año, cada día, será el holocausto continuo. Un cordero ofrece más por la mañana, y el otro cordero ofrece más la caída de la tarde; y la décima parte de un efa de flor de harina, amasada con un cuarto de un hin de aceite de olivas machacadas, en ofrenda. Es holocausto continuo, que fue ordenado en el monte Sinaí para olor grato, ofrenda encendida a Jehová. Y su libación, la cuarta parte de un hin con cada cordero; derramarás libación de vino superior ante Jehová en el santuario. Y ofrecerás el segundo cordero a la caída de la tarde”

    ” “Cada día, será el holocausto continuo ”
    Israel fue ordenado de traer un cordero al Señor cada mañana y cada tarde. Cada día comenzaba y terminaba con esta declaración de la necesidad de expiación por sacrificio y expresión de devoción al Señor.

    * “Ofrecerás por la mañana”
    Ofrecerás el segundo cordero a la caída de la tarde: Esto nos recuerda qué es comenzar y terminar nuestro día con una declaración de confianza en la expiación de Dios y la expresión de nuestra devoción a Él.

    * Debemos buscar al Señor todo el tiempo: Tarde y mañana ya medio día . Oraré y clamaré, y él oirá mi voz.

  28. 24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

    25 And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

    26 Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the Lord, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

  29. God decides to lay out some rules for offerings and for how the Israelites can go about celebrating him throughout the year. How kind.
    God gives a bunch of guidelines for the kinds of offerings you can bring him every day. Lambs? Grain? Drinks? It’s all good. As long as it gives off a “pleasing odor.” (But really, does burning lamb smell that great?)
    He also has more details for offerings on the Sabbath. Also, info on monthly offerings, which happen during the New Moon. No word on what offerings God likes most at twilight, during an eclipse, or while breaking dawn.
    Then, God fills us in on what to do for Passover. Eat unleavened bread for seven days. Don’t work on the first and last day. Oh, and offerings. Lots and lots of offerings.
    How about Shavuot? More days off work (sweet!) and more super smelling burnt offerings. This whole celebrating the Lord thing is turning out pretty great!

  30. “Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Command the Israelites and say to them, ‘You shall be careful to present at its appointed time [during the year] My offering, My food for My offerings by fire as a sweet and soothing aroma to Me.’ You shall say to the people, ‘This is the offering by fire which you shall present to the LORD every day: two male lambs one year old without blemish as a continual burnt offering.”
    ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭28:1-3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

    The Lord is interested in daily communication and interaction. He looks forward to the time set aside for Him. He also looks forward to the sweet aroma that our prayers offer to him. Have you made room for two today?

  31. 1The LORD said to Moses, 2“Give these instructions to the people of Israel: The offerings you present as special gifts are a pleasing aroma to me; they are my food. See to it that they are brought at the appointed times and offered according to my instructions.

    What ever you offer to God, it pleases him. If you give faithfully and joyfully, God will accept it. Don’t give just cause you have to.

  32. 24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord: it shall be offered beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

    Our daily sacrifices, this goes beyond our personal prayer time. Its the sacrifice of our flesh it the dying to Christ daily. The sweet savour of our praises. We die daily we put up our burnt offering we lay sins, anxiety, depression, sickness, heartache, worries, whatever it is we burn it to fuel our fire. Finally we take on the blood and know that we are covered.

  33. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

    Treat the burnt offerings as time that you set aside for you and God. You wake up with him so seek him, you lay down to rest and your last words should be thanking God for the day. This time you set aside should be your time to reset with God and also resting your eyes on what’s important.

  34. 2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

    Offering is from the Lord. For God so loved the world that He gave… there is no reason why we should not bring an offering to the house of God. He daily fill is with benefits it should come natural to want to give back to Him.

  35. 2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

    Why is it a burt offering ? In these days they believed that when you would set anything On fire it would transform it into the spirit realm. Once it went through the fire it could be partake of those in the spirit realm. It was a way of transferring. Ancient Kong’s were not buried they were burt on beds of kindling and sent down the river or into the ocean to meet with God again. This was recognized by the pagans and other religions alike. Now our offering still goes through the fire to be presented to God. It is the fire of the Holy Ghost. It is the spiritual transfer method to get anything through this life into the next.
