Deuteronomy 6

Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:

That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,

11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

15 (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.

17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.

18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers.

19 To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.

20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lordour God hath commanded you?

21 Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

22 And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.

24 And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.

  1. And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
    Deuteronomy 6:24 KJV

When there is a reverence for The word of GOD, His word. Then we will know that there is life only in Him and nothing else. Our hope, desires, shall only be Him!

  2. Deuteronomy 6
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

    Impress them upon your children.
Helping them to understand the word of God
Lead guide instruct . Write them on your door frames and gates . Sharing with others that they too may know who Jesus Christ is. Tell it everywhere you go ……Live Jesus Give Jesus.

  3. Moses Reminds Israel of the Commandment and the Warning

The Commandment: The essence of God’s law

Remember the commandment before entering Canaan.

Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the LORD your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the LORD your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you; “a land flowing with milk and honey.”

  4. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

One God, One Faith, One Baptism!!! This is why we are having so many problems because a lot of people has forgotten to teach this to their children! We forgot to talk to them ALL the time about it so they won’t forget. For our God is Good and He always wants the best for us!!! If we want things in our Nation to change let’s bring JESUS to the school, home, work, everywhere!!! Until JESUS is in their heart forever! Give Jesus!!!!

  5. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

The greatest of all the things that we have to do as a child of God, is that we love the Lord with all our heart, with all thy soul and all thy might. This means that I have to love Him above the love of my family and the love of the world. We have to decide whether we are going to live for God or the world. The scripture states we can not serve two masters.
We have a calling to live for God to the point that wa have to keep commandments that he has given us. Living past the point of not being directed by the world.

We have a great opportunity in this end time revival to reach all the lost souls and we have to take advantage of this opportunity. Live Jesus so we can give Jesus

  6. Deuteronomy 6:4,5
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

You can live and give Jesus by keeping His commandments:
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as they self. And he said unto him, thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

  7. 5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

We have two main missions on this Earth. That is to love God get as close to him as we possibly can, and to tell the things that God has done in our lives to our children into other people. God has called us to draw closer to him and to reach people. Go to heaven and bring as many people as you can. We are to be witnesses to every open door that God gives us as we continuously see Christ and love him with all that we have.

  8. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

YES!!! HALELUJAH!!! THIS IS FOR US TO TELL THE WHOLE WORLD that The Lord OUR GOD is ONE LORD, and NOT THREEEEE!!!

  9. iLove Jesus
Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

God requires us to love him with our body, soul, and spirit. This is the reason we must repent, be baptized, and receive the Holy Ghost. Without one of these, we are not fully delivered and we are not fully His. I’m thankful that December 26th 1996 I received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I thank Jesus that every day I must repent and draw closer to him. Other denominations teach that you just have to confess Christ to be saved, but we teach Deuteronomy 6:5 and Acts 2:38.
Repent (love the Lord with all your soul)
Be baptized (Love the with all your might)
Receive the Holy Ghost (Love the Love with all your heart)

  10. 22 And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
God is good! His Mercy endurance forever..

  11. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

  12. Deut.6 : 11-12 [ Amp] And houses full of all good things which you did not fill , and cistern hewn out which you did not hewn , and vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and when you eat and are full.
[12] Then beware lest you forget the Lord. Who brought you out of the land , of Egypt, Out of the house of bondage.
Trails and Tribulations can be hard at times, But Jesus is there with you and he want put you through something that you can’t handle. Thank God for pastor and first Lady that God sent us. That loves us and prays for us. You have to please the Lord not man to make to heaven. Jesus I will never forget what you done for me , And never forget how you brought out. No never !

  13. Deuteronomy 6:2 KJV
[2] That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

[5] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

[15] (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

I feel David was seen as a grasshopper
I feel David feared God and that brought him and others peace .

    1 Samuel 17
[9] If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.

[16] And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.

[22] And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren.

[31] And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.

[33] And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.

[37] David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the Lord be with thee.

[45] Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

[47] And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s , and he will give you into our hands.

[53] And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.
[54] And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.

    Hosea 8:2 KJV
[2] Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.

    Malachi 1:13 KJV
[13] Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it ! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the Lord of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the Lord .

    Hosea 6:1 KJV
[1] Come, and let us return unto the Lord : for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

    Hosea 6:6 KJV
[6] For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

  14. 12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. KJV

12 When you take it all in and settle down, pleased and content, make sure you don’t forget how you got there—God brought you out of slavery in Egypt. MSG

The blessings we don’t know about or the ones we forget are the blessings we won’t enjoy. And if we’re not enjoying all the blessings God has for us right now, there are probably two reasons why you aren’t. Either we don’t know about His blessings and benefits, or we’re forgetting to act on God’s Word concerning them.

Consider a new employee. Most companies provide benefits for employment, paid time off, insurance coverage, etc. We begin our career but forget the benefits. We may take a day off without pay if we forget to claim a PTO day. The same can happen to us.

All too often we forget about the benefits of being a child of God. All of His wonderful benefits belong to us. Everything we have, everything we receive from God, and every benefit given to us by God—has already been provided; we simply need to remember to use these benefits.

  15. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    THE KEY TO VICTORY

4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

    ONE LORD = JESUS

This sounds simple but, there are daily competitors attempting to be god in our lives. Success, money, position, possessions, sports, games, relationships are just a few of the competitors to be GOD.

I call this revelation THE KEY TO VICTORY because it is the COMMAND of the LORD and it is repeated following the 10 Commandments as we know them, with specific instructions.

7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

In our VISION for 2020 we are focused on the principal of LIVE JESUS and GIVE JESUS. This is possible and can be accomplished if and when we Seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD.

Knowing and Living for the ONE GOD JESUS positions us for HIS Favor and Blessings. When we settle in our lives that there is only ONE GOD then we LIVE for this ONE GOD and reject competitors such as listed above. We accomplish LIVE JESUS through verse 5. Love our ONE LORD = JESUS with all we have and we will not have time for any other. This produces Great VICTORY in our lives.

We then extend this VICTORY to generations to come.

    GIVE JESUS

7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

We GIVE JESUS to our children and to those in our house and to all that we have to do with.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  16. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

From the abundance of the heart the mouth speak it. What is in our heart we would tell others but we have to consider that we must day we keep our hearts clean in an effort to tell them Jesus and that our two cents. When the Word of God is in our hearts and not mostly our own words we will speak the Word to our children and in our homes and everywhere we go.

Let us become students of the Word and fall in love with His word so much that we need it more than the next breath of air.

  17. 6:12 then be ware lest forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
    ……….
Moses is talking about everything that the Lord has done for them, ( all his wonders, and acts of mercy..)and also about what’s yet to come….
Be ware lest forget the Lord… No! if We have to let’s write it down, but a grateful heart remembers….. but we if he is saying these things is because God knows that we can forget easily.
    🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  18. These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3 Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.

  19. 2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

Here he mentions that following the Ten Commandments not on will give you longevity and help prolong your life, but it will also help to increase the Children of Israel mightily.

4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

One of the most important scriptures found in our Bibles. The Lord our God is one Lord!! He is not apart of a Trinity of Gods but He is One Lord!!!

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

  20. The Lord did miraculous signs and wonders before our eyes, dealing terrifying blows against Egypt and Pharaoh and all his people. He brought us out of Egypt so he could give us this land he had sworn to give our ancestors. And the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day.
    Deuteronomy 6:22‭-‬24 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/deu.6.22-24.NLT

I tell everyone I can that my life is unrecognizable to what it use to be before God pulled me out of the slavery of addiction. I am a living example of this chapter. I look around and am in awe of God’s work in my life and I’m humbled beyond words because I don’t deserve any of this. I deserve death, he’ll, the grave, eternity in the pit. I don’t deserve this life, but He gave me PURPOSE and PROMISE and saved my children. I bow to You, my King!

  21. 2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

Simple commandments to love the Lord our God with all of our hearts, soul, and might and to keep His Word in our hearts. Beyond obeying these commands for ourselves, we are instructed to teach them to generations to come.

  22. 1 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Moses is warning the people that their first test when they enter the promise land is that they are going to be tempted by blessings they didn’t work for-wells the didn’t dig, houses they didn’t build.

They were warned to keep God first! Don’t get so caught up in the blessing that they forget the blessor! My my – have we been so blessed with material things in this day and age that we have need of nothing including the God who provided?

We must go back to the original commandment –
Hear oh Israel the Lord our God is one and thou shalt love the Lord with all thine heart……..

  23. 20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lordour God hath commanded you?

21 Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

22 And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.

And i will tell my children that he brought us out of a life of depression and anger. Out of a life filled with bondage and abuse. He brought us out of poverty and dispair. He placed us on mountains and showed us love and light. Let us enter into life of peace and comfort. Blessed us with family and friends. HALLELUJAH!!!

  24. the lord commanded us to learn and teach our children the statutes of the lord because we would not be here and alive if it wasn’t for him

  25. 17You must not test the Lord your God as you did when you complained at Massah. You must diligently obey the commands of the Lord your God—all the laws and decrees he has given you.

18Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so all will go well with you. Then you will enter and occupy the good land that the Lord swore to give your ancestors.

We must obey the Lord our God commands us to do and do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight so that we can enter the Lord’s kingdom.
    Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:17-18‬ ‭NLT

  26. Deuteronomy 6:5-6
    5) And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
    6) And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart.

When we LOVE God with all our heart, soul, and might, and when His Word is in our heart, this is when we LIVE JESUS.
And when we LIVE JESUS, we can GIVE JESUS.
Deuteronomy 6:7, “And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

    LIVE GIVE JESUS
We should be talking about JESUS all the time.

  27. 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

I just listened to a message yesterday, and he was talking about Crazy Faith. He made the following comment:

“How do you tell if a person is crazy? The main way I realize that you can tell if someone is crazy, is when they start TALKING. It’s only when they start saying things out of their mouth that it becomes crazy.

Crazy Faith isn’t crazy until you start saying something, until you start TALKING”

In 2020 I pray that we continually TALK about what God is doing and going to do! That we speak the positive more than negative! That from the moment we get our head off that pillow to the moment we lay back down at night, that we are TALKING about JESUS with everyone we meet, to the point that we sound “crazy”.

    Crazy for Jesus.

  28. ““Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one [the only God]! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being]. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be [written] on your heart and mind. You shall teach them diligently to your children [impressing God’s precepts on their minds and penetrating their hearts with His truths] and shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand (forearm), and they shall be used as bands (frontals, frontlets) on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:4-9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This scripture shows the importance of teaching our children the ways of the Lord. It states that we should diligently teach them. So means we should do so with extreme concentration and effort we should instill them to love the Lord with all of their heart, mind and all of their soul.

  29. The Lord did wonderful things for us so that we can be free. So we
would not have to go though the dark and places . Even if we did MANY things bad. We have what we have right now just because of God. So no madder what he loves us till the day and till the day we all go up to heaven !!

  30. 16 Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah.

That reminds me of a time when I was Sharing my testimony with one of my brothers. I was telling him all the wonderful things the Lord been doing with my family. and the miracles that I have seen. and he Laughs at me for the things that I was sharing. he said so if I cut a finger off my hand God will put it back when you pray. I answer yes he can but now you just Tempting God go ahead do it.

  31. Verse 5 AMP “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being].” We must continue to pray for our entire being to be submitted to the Lord, as we recently heard to pray for our minds. In verse 25 AMP it reminds of why “It will be [considered] righteousness for us [that is, right standing with God] if we are careful to observe all this commandment before the Lord our God—just as He has commanded us. LIVE – GIVE JESUS in everything we do.

  32. Deuteronomy 6

4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, The Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, And with all your strength. Have a God blessed day and happy new year.

  33. 1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Do and teach His commandments to our children. So they too can teach their coming generations about How Our Great Mighty God took us out of Egypt! Let’s tell them about God’s wonders and miracles. Let’s never stop teaching our children the Greatness of God. To love God with all of our heart, soul and might. We serve a Mighty God!!

  34. ““These are the commands, decrees, and regulations that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you. You must obey them in the land you are about to enter and occupy, and you and your children and grandchildren must fear the Lord your God as long as you live. If you obey all his decrees and commands, you will enjoy a long life.”
    ‭‭

He was saying don’t go against 10 commandments

He was saying don’t go against 10 commandments

  36. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

  37. Deuetrininio 6: 4-5

  38. 17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers.
Where there is obedience there is blessing!!

  39. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

This is what we need to teach to our kids and in our homes. We are living in a world today where people are trying to find peace in something why not show the love of Jesus. When we teach this to our chuldren and when they arw older they will always remember that Jesus is the only one that can help.

  40. Deuteronomy 6:4>6:7
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down and when thou riset up.

    6:14 >6:15
Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; (For the Lord thy God is a jealous god among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

Our God is a jealous God and we must teach our children right from wrong and keep them in Gods word. We want favor from our Lord. You will not be blessed if you do not follow Gods word. It is vital that our children know and serve God. Thank you Lord for this year!

  41. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
    Deuteronomy 6:5‭-‬7 KJV

God gave a great charge to each of us and it is imperative we pass on these great commandments to the generations to follow. I thank God for His word and guidance and pray we take this mentality into the new year. Let’s live Jesus so we can give Jesus!!

  42. 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

What we know about the Lord our God must be passed to the next generation -we must teach it, example it and expect it from them so they in turn will pass it to their children. Israel has done this for generations and we are blessed by their example.

  43. 2 That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Follow his word and teach your children to learn it and walk by it. God is a jealous God and he is the only one to worship in the name of Jesus.

  44. It is important to always keep Jesus in front of our kids. Talking about him everywhere. At home in the car, or in public. They way our children learn about Jesus is through our relationship with him and how we share him with them.

  45. 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

The children are very important to the spreading of The Gospel. Not only do they need to hear it but they need to see it!!! We are their main examples of what a Godly man or woman should be like. We must live it not only speak it!!!

  46. 10 And it shall be, when the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,

    11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;

12 Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

    14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

15 (For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

Be should be careful not to get drunk on success and lost in the blessings that we forget the God that blesses us. He is a jealous God. And desires our love and attention. We cannot get lost in what he gives us but rather we must get lost in Him and his love, his word, his ways.

  47. God provides it all, just stay in communication with him and read his word. It’s the success that will keep us in his will. Go God in 2020!

  48. 3 Listen closely, Israel, and be careful to obey. Then all will go well with you, and you will have many children in the land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, promised you.

Stay connected with God, and the blessings will be there. Not only for you, but for your children. Teach your children about God, and the blessings will continue for future generations.

  49. “When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:10-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God has so many blessings for you and your family. Blessings you cannot fathom just like the children of Israel, all blessings you didn’t have to work for but the work was done for you!

There’s so many stories like the one Bro Greg Randall shares on Tuesday when God blesses him and his wife with a house they didn’t pay for. We just need to make sure we are in line with Him, have faith and be ready to receive.
