Deuteronomy 24

When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;

Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.

No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man’s life to pledge.

If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.

Remember what the Lord thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt.

10 When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

11 Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.

12 And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:

13 In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the Lord thy God.

14 Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the Lord, and it be sin unto thee.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

20 When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

21 When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

22 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

  1. 19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

Don’t forget the poor. Always be of service. Never forget where He brought you out of, you too were a sinner, and now you have received His Grace and Mercy, give the same grace and mercy that God has given you. Give them JESUS!

  2. 10When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge. 11Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee. 12And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge: 13In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

As the Lord has blessed us, we in turn ought to be a blessing to others. The grace and mercy of God that is shown to us, should be the same that we show to others in need. When you lend your neighbor while in need , we should do it without expecting anything in turn. I find when I give without expectation the the blessing of God is bestowed upon me. We should not be a person that is going to miss that which we lend because if we do then don’t lend it. It will make for a awkward situation, for the Lord will give back in plenty for your sacrifice. It is always better to give than to receive. That is what living Jesus is all about. So that we can give Jesus when every opportunity arises.

  3. Verse 19 CEV “If you forget to bring in a stack of harvested grain, don’t go back in the field to get it. Leave it for the poor, including foreigners, orphans, and widows, and the Lord will make you successful in everything you do.” Psalm 146:5-9 CEV says “The Lord God of Jacob blesses everyone who trusts him and depends on him. God made heaven and earth; he created the sea and everything else. God always keeps his word. He gives justice to the poor and food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free and heals blind eyes. He gives a helping hand to everyone who falls. The Lord loves good people and looks after strangers. He defends the rights of orphans and widows, but destroys the wicked.” Always remember how the Lord has blessed you and how you can be a blessing.

  4. 18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

20 When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widows

22 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

God is called all of us out of our own Egypt so it’s not enough that he is just blessed our souls in abundance. It’s not enough that we’ve been delivered for the bowels of darkness. Even more so we have the responsibility to take care of those that are in bondage we’re going through a tough time. We may not be under the law of the Israelites according to Galatians God’s principles of taking care of those in need has not changed. We The Church must be the church

  5. Deuteronomy 24

When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it.(X) Leave it for the foreigner,(Y) the fatherless and the widow,(Z) so that the Lord your God may bless(AA) you in all the work of your hands. 20 When you beat the olives from your trees, do not go over the branches a second time.(AB) Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow. 21 When you harvest the grapes in your vineyard, do not go over the vines again. Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow. 22 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt. That is why I command you to do this.(AC)

Remember you were a slave in Egypt.
Why did God liken the fatherless widow and foreigners as a slave. Life situations can make one feel as if they have been enslaved . You find yourself in a situation due to circumstances that have befallen you. Foreigners in a land they have no clue sometimes what to expect. Without a father leaves one many times in a hopeless situation when making some major decisions and being a widow without any resources can be a devastated crisis. Look around there are multitudes of people whom fell into these categories. The message from Wednesday night comes to my mind fragments of people waiting to be nourished. We take a look at these scriptures and we say What is God really expecting of me? How do we treat people. We come and eat spiritually from the table of God will we not share that which has been provided. Emotional support reassurance and most of all spiritual encouragement to those around us. Are we truly using the power of the Holy Ghost to bring healing and restoration to those who may feel isolated due to their situations. We can each contribute something to our community by Living and Giving Jesus Is this not the theme for this year . Will I be willing to contribute something to someone .
I pray so . I’ve been the recipient of blessings and so thankful . I had become widowed fatherless and found myself in a foreigner land of life I felt hopeless yet there have been so many who blessed me and encouraged me during the difficult transition I found my own self in. I personally say thank you . I have found that when we give God returns back so much .
I must take what God has taught me through these trying times and share the love with others that are hurting. What about the foreigners coming into America into our neighborhoods will we shun them and be skeptical about them. What about when you are making plans to get together with someone will you not invite them because they may not have the funds to go out ? What about the lonely can we not share just a bit of our own time with them ? These scriptures are more deeper than monetary means. Everyone of us have something we can give as we live Jesus. It’s not about me but about Him . I’ve lived in both sides and I pray that I’ve learned and am using the lessons I’m still learning in this university of Life and I pray that the love that God has so graciously poured out on me can be shared with someone .
Live Jesus Give Jesus. What more is there really bro living ?

    Live Jesus Give Jesus
    Matthew 25:31-40
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, “I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (NIV)

  6. God has given us laws to deal with each other in this life. Things would be much better if mankind even today would follow these rules.

  7. 17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

Simply put… The meaning of hospitality:
the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.

Countless times it is mentioned in the Bible about how we ought to prefer our brethren over ourselves and put the needs of other first. Simply put… LIVE JESUS – GIVE JESUS

  8. Deuteronomy 24:19-22
    19) When thou cuttest down thine harvest in the field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
    20) When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
    21) When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
    22) And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

When we remember where the Lord brought us from (and how in desperate need we were) and how blessed we are today, it will help us to be more loving and compassionate towards those in need (such as the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow).
So today, reach out and help someone in need and be a blessing, and the Lord will bless you in return.

    LIVE JESUS – GIVE JESUS

  9. “ When you reap your harvest in your field and have forgotten a sheaf [of grain] in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the stranger, for the orphan, and for the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
    Deuteronomy 24:19 AMP

The LORD always provides for everyone, whether rich or poor. He knows the need of His children. You need to trust Him at His word. Thankful that we are a church that often gives unto our community. Never stop giving into His Kingdom! The LORD uses what you faithfully give weekly into missions(our city). You may think bread and milk isn’t enough… but it is to child that is hungry!! French toast goes along way.
And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
    Philippians 4:19 AMP

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
    Psalms 37:25 KJV

  10. Deut. 24 :18 -19 [Amp] But you shall [ earnestly] remember that you were a slave in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you from there therefore I command you to do this.
When you get yourself in a mess, Jesus is the only one that can get you out . Jesus will always be here for you . I glad I am his child. We are reap what we sow. Let’s Go to reach this city Pofw.

  11. 14 Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:
15 At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the Lord, and it be sin unto thee.
16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

We must be truthful and just to others for they depend on it. Now days it has become so easy to lie, cheat and rob others blessings. Sadly to many out in the world is a normal thing to do! But we as children of the Living God must always keep this scriptures to our hearts. We must be loving and just to the poor, widow and orphan for their father is the creator of the world Jesus! Surely we do not want the wrath of the Lord in our lives. I pray that we remember and help those who are in need, for it brings blessings to our lives.

  12. 19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

20 When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

God provided for the poor and needy who ever they were. They were able to follow the reapers and glean from the fields like we read in Ruth. Israel was to remember they were slaves once, poor and needy. When we help the church give to our community we should also remember when we were in the same boat-poor and needy and without the rich blessings of God, whether it was spiritual, emotional or financial.

  13. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    JESUS I’LL NEVER FORGET

18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

We used to sing a hymn in church “JESUS I’ll never forget what you’ve done for me, JESUS I’ll never forget how you set me free. JESUS I’ll never forget how you Brought me out, JESUS I’ll never forget no never”.

The principal of this song has inspired and guided me as a Leader. After 31 years, I can still remember the bondage that I lived in, before JESUS. I pledge to JESUS that I’ll never forget how HE brought me out. So unworthy, so undeserving, so ignorant, so arrogant, so mean, but so hungry and broken.

To LIVE JESUS is not a ONE Time decision, but a LIFESTYLE choice. I remember making an EASY decision to LIVE HARD for JESUS.

I am not suggesting to always think or talk about your life before JESUS. But, we should always remember the liberty and freedom that came to us when we were set free from the bondage of the sins that had us bound.

Choose to remember FREEDOM not bondage.

The principal here is that GOD instructs us to assist people who may be under heavy burden. Widows and Fatherless will always have the heart of GOD. We are wise to Bless them, protect them and help them.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

The correlation is this. When looking to assist those that are helpless or limited, GOD advised us to remember the feeling of bondage that we felt when we could not Worship HIM in Freedom or LIVE HIM in Liberty and that we are in a position to assist people in such a way.

  14. 8 “Be careful during an outbreak of leprosy, that you diligently observe and do according to all that the Levitical priests teach you; just as I have commanded them, so you shall be careful to do. 9 Remember [with thoughtful concern] what the Lord your God did to Miriam on the road as you came out of Egypt.

Strict guidelines were given to them regarding someone with lepoarsy – that person was put outside the camp for 7 days, and brought back for the priest to judge, and depending on the outcome he was either cleansed and a sacrifice offered for this cleansing, or he was placed outside the camp again, tested for another 7 days and then either pronounced cleaned or unclean and lived outside the gates of the Israelites.

Leporsy was definitely recognizable and brought to the priest as soon as it manifest itself. Many times we deal with situations in our lives that can become leporsy to us spiritually. If we just continue to sweep them under the rug so to speak, they will eventually manifest much bigger than necessary. Had we dealt with them when we first recognized something was a miss, we could save ourselves and those around us much heartache.

When something does not go as we plan, and we have the question rise in our mind why did God allow this to happen? Or why did God not spare us from this? Or why did God not answer my prayer? This plants a seed in our spirit that would cause us to begin to doubt the reality of God, his love for us. If we don’t take it to the altar and allow God to give us peace about it, those doubts will begin to manifest in everything we do. This is they sly way the enemy comes into our lives. We must deal with it as soon as we begin to feel something amiss. There are many things I would love to answers for – but I have to trust God even though I don’t understand that He knows what best. He doesn’t owe me anything and as much as I would like to have seen the situations end up differently, He is God.

I can’t afford for a spirit of leporsy – be it sin, doubt, fear to rule my life. I must be cleansed so I must drag myself carnal self to an altar and spend time there until He washes over me anew with fresh oil, pouring into my wounds so that healing can take place. Otherwise I’ll not only lose my walk with God, but it could effect those that follow me as well.

  15. 24:13 in any case thou shall deliver the pledge again, when the sun goers down, that he may sleep I. His own raiment
And bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the Lord thy God.
    ——
Again God looks at the heart.
A child of God should always. Be willing. Yet the flesh get in the way, we ought to do things because our love for God.
That should move us to do the things God wants us to do.

  16. iLove Jesus

As I was reading this I thought of the harvesting machines of the average American farm. We have machines that stripe everything and you better not go on the farm trying to collect the left overs cause they consider that stealing. Well, thank goodness we still have a government who helps the poor just like the laws of God declare we are suppose to.

  17. 16“Parents must not be put to death for the sins of their children, nor children for the sins of their parents. Those deserving to die must be put to death for their own crimes.

This shows each individual is responsible for the choices they make. Everyone has to choose between right and wrong, and we all know the difference. Each person will be judged for their sins.

  18. 12 And if a man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:

13 In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

    Hallelujah!!

    Praise the Lord God Almighty!!!

  19. 16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Dont let your past or connections to family that are not living for God hold you back today. You are not the same as the person who is addicted to drugs or alcohol or the relative that is prison. You may share the same DNA but you control which path you want to choose, how you were raised doesnt decide how your path goes. What you do today in the here and now decides what path you will be on.

  20. 18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

We should always remember that at one time and point in our lives we were bonded in sin and ours souls were lost and dying, but because of the grace of god and the blood he shed we are now free and it is up to us to spend the truth and our testimonies to the lost and dying of the world.

  21. 9 Remember what the Lord thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt.

Remember what the Lord thy God did unto Miriam,…. Who was stricken with leprosy for speaking against Moses, and was shut up seven days; and they are reminded of this instance, partly to warn them against entertaining evil suspicions, and surmises of persons in power and authority, and speaking evil of them; and partly to expect that punishment would certainly be inflicted on them, should they be guilty of the same crime; nor should they think it hard, either to be smitten with leprosy, or to be shut up for it; since Miriam, a prophetess, and the sister of Moses, was so used; and that when

by the way, after that ye were come out of Egypt: when upon their journey, and were retarded in it, and obliged to stay at least seven days before they could proceed on in it; see Numbers 12:14.

But the LORD replied, “Miriam would be disgraced for seven days if her father had punished her by spitting in her face. So make her stay outside the camp for seven days, before coming back.”
We must be careful with leprosy, being with leprosy was that you were to be out of camp for seven days then after seven days, you were to present your self before the priest. They were the only ones to make sure you were clean. This means that Jesus is the highest priest that can make you clean, it’s His blood that cleanse us from Leprosy. Leprosy is what separates us from the glory of God. Thanks be to JESUS for His blood. That he shed in the cross for all of us.

  22. 1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

    3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;

4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

  23. 22 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

God has set us free and all He asks in return is that we obey His word.
When we obey God’s word we demonstrate that we fear, love, and honor Jesus.

  24. “Always remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God redeemed you from your slavery. That is why I have given you this command.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬
This Scripture means that, we were once slaves to sin and we were saved in the Name of Jesus from the bondages of our sins by repenting, filled with the Holy Ghost, And Baptized in The Name of Jesus, And changing our lifestyle to Jesus.

  25. 18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

We should remember that at one time in life we were in sin and shame but the Lord our God came into our lives and rescued us and if we spread the word of God he can save like he did with us.

  26. 10 When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

Always we need to lend a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in need! My hands can never be full of all the mess in this nasty world! As a man of God and a church goer. I will be ready to help my brothers and sisters and I need and want my friends to be ready to help me.

  27. In the prophecy says to do not sacrifice yourself or your kids sacrifice them for you

Remember what the Lord thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt.

  28. 17 Do not deprive the foreigner or the fatherless of justice, or take the cloak of the widow as a pledge.
18 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you from there. That is why I command you to do this.

Do not forget what the Lord our God has done for us, The situations he had taken us out of. All the great things he has done for us. Has protected us from evil and any harm people have tried to do. He has saved us from many things and we need to always remember that . We need to acknowledge and thank God for everything he has done for us . At times we tend to forget everything that the Lord out God has done for us. But, we should always thank God and obey what he commands us to do. Live Give Jesus!

  29. 17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

All of this I’ve read and more, are concerning matters of justice. We are to be dignified people, and God’s welfare plan for the Israelites was that the Israelites were to love each other in the same way God loved them. This is the same way our God calls us to live today. We need to Love like He Loves.
Remember your Redemption, and Believe in His blessings!!

  30. 19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
if you think on how you can bless the others around you god will surely bless you.

  31. 17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

We must always deal with others remembering how much God has blessed and forgiven us.

  32. 17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:
18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands

Do not Jude people by what they have and what they did because God is working on them just like you and me.God is father of all and never Jude our brothers and sisters

  33. 18 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God redeemed you from there. That is why I command you to do this.

19 When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

It meant that we would be a remembrance of a slavery that we were saved from God and will forever. Be saved always when we follow God and listen to him.

  34. Deuteronomy 24:16
The father’s shall not be put to death for the children, and the children shall not be put to death for the father’s; every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
So often people have been put in the category of their families. You can’t help if you were born in a sinful family. It is up to each individual to choose God’s will or to go in the worldly way of sin. God always gives you a chance to choose right from wrong.

  35. What I got out of this chapter is that we should be holy at all times. We as Christians have to follow God’s word as said. We have to be obedient to our parents and elders. We have to keep our eyes on God at all times! We always have to seek his kingdom fist at all times. We have to understand his word and obey it in order to get to heaven. What Hod’s word says, we as his people should follow his word. OBEY AND FOLLOW HIS WORD POFW!!!😁

  36. Amen
    Deuteronomy 24:19 KJV
[19] When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

  37. “Always remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God redeemed you from your slavery. That is why I have given you this command.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Never forget where Gods brought you out of. That’s how I continue to keep going forward because I’m easily reminded where Hod brought me from when I hear of someone struggling with addiction or when someone wants to find the easy way out. The truth is the only easy way is to love for Jesus full throttle and never even think about returning to your past. The only time your past should be brought up is if you’re sharing and glorifying God for bringing you out!

  38. 14 Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

God sees the need to treat everyone with respect no matter what their status is in life. We should not look down on someone just because they might not be as well off as you. When we show respect to others no matter where they come from, God honors that.

  39. 16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Just as we cannot reap the reward of another’s persons sin, we cannot reap eternal life because of another persons righteousness. Please do not get me wrong we can learn from and gain wisdom from others sins and other righteousness but in return we would have to apply the learned knowledge to reap anything. We will receive blessing based off of our own actions. Is it possible to reap a little blessing just because your around someone that’s being blessed? The answer is Yes! But that doesn’t guarantee you a life of blessings it’s just means you may reap these if its of others for a season not a lifetime and certainly not for eternity.

  40. 18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

19 When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

Always remember where you came from. Once you were in a bind, bondage, held captive by a situation. In all the things that you collect let the extra be for the stranger the orphan and the widow. In doing this God will bless your hand in all your works.

  41. 4These nations did not welcome you with food and water when you came out of Egypt. Instead, they hired Balaam son of Beor from Pethor in distant Aram-naharaim to curse you.
5But the Lord your God refused to listen to Balaam. He turned the intended curse into a blessing because the Lord your God loves you. 6As long as you live, you must never promote the welfare and prosperity of the Ammonites or Moabites.

This scripture mean that the enemies will never welcome you in everywhere you walk but he will try to destroy you in everything and the enemy will try to curse you so that you will curse God, but the Lord tells us that he won’t let us be cursed by our enemies no matter what because the Lord tells us that he loves us and as long as we live we must never give the enemy praise or put him first for the Lord our God forbids us from praising the enemy.

  42. Deuteronomy 24

1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

  43. “A newly married man must not be drafted into the army or be given any other official responsibilities. He must be free to spend one year at home, bringing happiness to the wife he has married.
    Deuteronomy 24:5 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/deu.24.5.NLT

I’m thankful for a God who protects and cherishes the home. Establishing foundations in the home is so crucial for the beginning stages of a new life.

  44. 17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

Remember that you were once lost but God saved you. God doesn’t judge us so why should we judge those that don’t know him. Instead we need to welcome them with open arms and show them the love of Christ. You know that saying “do unto others as you would want them to do unto you”. Be a positive example of Christ not a negative one!

  45. “When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge. Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s something we teach children, bust as adults we sometimes become impatient. When you borrow wait and let the other person bring whatever to you. Don’t go into the space or house and take what you think j is yours.

  46. The fragments

21 When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

22 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

Bro Godwin preached a beautiful message about the fragments on Wednesday night. I’m just borrowing the title because these fragments are different. When we live for God and serve in the Kingdom it is really easy to get overzealous and round up all the harvest to ourselves when there are those that are looking for an opportunity but don’t have the know how or the field that some do. It’s easy to take the harvest and look back and say we did the Lords work. But we cannot forget that part of the harvest are those laboring beside it even behind us. Some of those fragments need the the ones that have been in this for a while to leave something important for maybe the ones without the clout to do. Leaving a little glory to be chased by those maybe just starting their ministry. Leave a little fragment maybe even enough to make something out of. If not those coming up behind you will continue to be discouraged and hungry.

  47. “And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Don’t be stingy with Jesus. We should be willing to pray for or love on someone if we see they are hurting and we should be able to rejoice with them when we see how God has blessed them. He died on the cross so that salvation could be extended to ANYBODY. Therefore we should forget what God has delivered has delivered us from so we can reach a world that is broken. The fragments are what is important. I thank God for all the situations He has delivered us from as well as the weapons He has blocked for us, whether we knew about them or not. I pray we always remember our testimony is powerful because it shows how God continues to do miracles, signs, and wonders even today!

  48. 16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions wether they be good or evil. The one who commits a trespass shall pay the consequences. The same goes with salvation. It is an individual thing that each person must work at. It takes a true relationship with God. Nor the father will be saved by the son or the son because of the father, but all must work at their relationship with the Lord.

  49. “When you make a loan of any kind to your neighbor, do not go into their house to get what is offered to you as a pledge. Stay outside and let the neighbor to whom you are making the loan bring the pledge out to you.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭24:10-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Let your yes be yes and your no be no. When lending to people be like Chik-fil-a and do it with pleasure, not because you know you’ll be paid back but purely out of the kindness of your heart. We should be able to be there for each other purely out of love and without expectation of payment.

  50. Always remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God redeemed you from your slavery. That is why I have given you this command.
    Deuteronomy 24:18 NLT

Remember where the Lord brought you from. He is our deliverer and redeemer, the God who shows mercy and grace; and because of this, He is worthy of our praise and submission. We will obey as you command Lord.

  51. 22 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

Never could i forget from where GOD has brought me out!!! GOD IS SOO GOOD TO ME!!!

    “Rescue Story”

    There I was empty-handed
Crying out from the pit of my despair
There You were in the shadows
Holding out Your hand You met me there

And now where would I be without You?
    Where would I be, Jesus?

You were the voice in the desert
Calling me out in the dead of night
    Fighting my battles for me
    You are my rescue story
Lifted me up from the ashes
Carried my soul from death to life
Bringing me from glory to glory
    You are my rescue story

    You are, You are
    You are my rescue story
    You are, You are

    You were writing the pages
    Before I had a name
    Before I needed grace, oh
    Singing songs of redemption
‘Cause every time I ran away
You were louder than my shame

And now where would I be without You?
    Where would I be, Jesus?

You were the voice in the desert
Calling me out in the dead of night
    Fighting my battles for me
    You are my rescue story
Lifted me up from the ashes
Carried my soul from death to life
Bringing me from glory to glory
    You are my rescue story

You never gave up on me
You never gave up on me
    You are my testimony, ooh…
You never gave up on me
You never gave up on me
    You are my testimony, ooh…
You never gave up on me
Oh, You never gave up on me
    Oh, this is my testimony

Oh, You were the voice in the desert
Calling me out in the dead of night
    Fighting my battles for me
    You are my rescue story
Lifted me up from the ashes
Carried my soul from death to life
Bringing me from glory to glory
‘Cause You are my rescue story

You are, You are (You are my rescue story)
Oh, You never gave up on me, never gave up on me
    You are, You are
Yeah, You are my rescue story

HE NEVER GAVE UP ON ME!!! HALELUJAH!!! THE PRAYERS OF THE ONES THAT HAVE RECEIVED OR LOST THEIR REWARD ARE STILL GOING TO COME TO PASS!!! GOD IS FAITHFUL!!! THEIR PRAYERS STILL FILL THIS ATMOSPHERE!!! WE ARE BLESSED!!! LET’S FILL THE ATMOSPHERE WITH AS MUCH PRAYER AS WE CAN, OUR CHILDREN AND OUR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN, AND THEIR CHILDREN NEED OUR PRAYERS!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

  52. I legitimately did not know what to post. With the talk of divorce, judgements between siblings, pledges to siblings etc.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:

All we can say is everyone will be accountable for their own sins and decisions. Father’s cannot be put to death for their children and children cannot be put to death for the fathers. We are all accountable for our own sin. And when the judgement day comes, it will be just that. Watch yourself and keep clean and keep his commandments. You end goal and outcome is only set by yourself. There will be no one else to blame.
