Deuteronomy 32

Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.

Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?

Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

For the Lord‘s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

12 So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;

14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

19 And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.

20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.

24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.

25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.

26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the Lord hath not done all this.

28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.

29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?

31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?

35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

36 For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,

38 Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.

39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.

43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.

44 And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.

45 And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:

46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

48 And the Lord spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,

49 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:

50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

52 Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.

  1. This chapter starts with listening and not breaking faith (unfaithful) throughout the journey, because your ending (your possession) will be a result of your beginning.

Verses 45-47 AMP “When Moses had finished speaking all these words to all [the people of] Israel, he said to them, “Take to heart all the words of warning which I am speaking to you today; and you shall command your children to observe them carefully—to do all the words of this law. For it is not an empty or trivial matter for you; indeed it is your [very] life. By [honoring and obeying] this word you will live long in the land, which you are crossing the Jordan to possess.” Choose life.

Isaiah 26:3-4 AMP “You will keep in [a]perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both [b]inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. “Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].” Jesus my Rock.

  2. 7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

9 For the Lord‘s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

We turn living for God into such a routine of repetition that eventually leads us to a state of boredom, taking the Joy out of living for God! We then grow spiritually fat and soon forget the things of God. Lord, may I never forget the old ways of generations past, that have given their lives for the Kingdom!

  3. 48 And the Lord spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,

Even through all the battles and victories for the Lord that led Moses and the children out Egypt was still a just God. There could have been many times that the Lord could have destroyed the children because of their disobedience, but because of Moses pleading before God he did not. Even with the disobedience before God, Moses was able to see the promise and was allowed to view it from upon the mount and God allowed him to be close to it when he died. He already had his place picked out and all the business was done.

Even through our times when we mess up, we can still find mercy from God to bring us back to the course that we must travel. One thing is for sure, the wrath of God rains on the just and unjust alike. We still have to accept consequences of our disobedience in the end. We have to find a place to rebuild our altars and make sure we are giving our best in our offerings so that we can please God.

  4. 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
19 And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

That rock is Jesus Matthew 21:42
Jesus is and will always be the rock I we can not seek him get to know him but that does not change the fact that He is the rock, the King of Kong’s. The people did not know him or want to seek him so the lord said I will hid my face from them and see what will happen to them.
He already knew what was going to happen but it was for the people. Because they trusted in other gods to save them to provide for them so God said I will step back and let there god do it and they will see who the real God is.

Today I don’t want God to have to step back from my life because I am trusting other Gods. I don’t want to tempt the Lord. We must stay focused and seeking him every day.

  5. 30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?
31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

There’s no God like our God! The deeper you fall in love with God and grow closer to him the more you begin to understand his ways and why they’re above everyone else’s ways. The more you obey his statutes and listen and trust him the more you start to understand my God keep you from certain things to protect you not to deprive you. We are so much more blessed and we understand sometimes and having that blind Faith is what Harry’s s two different dimensions with God. There’s no god like my God

  6. Seek ye FIRST THE Kingdom Of God . Not gods but GOD as in there’s only 1 GOD and his name is JESUS.
The LORD giveth and taketh away. Don’t let what God gave to you as a blessing get to your head. Stay humble and stay away from false gods. Like allah, Mohammad, buddah, these are false gods . When the name JESUS is mentioned demons trimble Satan runs away and even the wind and waves obey him. We are a twisted generation that needs to go back to our first love. We need to fall back in love with JESUS.

  7. 46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

The word of God should become our life. We should live, breathe and eat it. When we surround ourselves with his word, miracles can happen. In order to see and experience great things, we must make the word of God our life. We cannot stray away from it if we want to make it to heaven. With God at the forefront of our life, anything can happen.

  8. he added: “Take to heart all the words of warning I have given you today. Pass them on as a command to your children so they will obey every word of these instructions. These instructions are not empty words—they are your life! By obeying them you will enjoy a long life in the land you will occupy when you cross the Jordan River.”
    Deuteronomy 32:46‭-‬47 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/deu.32.46-47.NLT

Reading the Bible isn’t about “storytime” and we don’t dress up on Sundays or Wednesdays to “play church”. The Word of God and the instruction of our man of God is to be applied to everyday life. It is the structure to live by. God PROMISES a blessed life if we seek His Kingdom first.

  9. 37. And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,

    38. Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.

    39. See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

When you get in trouble with God, those other gods that you worshiped and trusted in can’t do anything for you. He is God alone and He can mock them with impunity.

    Psalm 86:
    8. Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

    9. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

    10. For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

  10. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    GIVE OUR CHILDREN

46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

The greatest responsibility of a parent is to teach our children the ways of GOD and how to LIVE in HIS Kingdom. Our Father and Creator of all things is deeply interested in HIS children walking in the VICTORY and PROMISES ordained by HIM.

In this passage GOD goes to great lengths to explain the value of OBEDIENCE and the pain of DISOBEDIENCE. GOD then places strong emphasis on teaching these to our children.

In fact there is a key word for parenting here in this passage. “COMMAND” your children to OBSERVE and DO. As parents we carry an important responsibility to our GOD and our Children. There are many parents who simply suggest to their children and hope they obey. This principal is taught and practiced very early in the Childs life for the greatest benefit. Children are deceived when parents fail to command and correct them. GOD reveals what HE will do to those that do not obey HIM and as parents we should teach our children that there are consequences for disobedience.

It is the will of GOD for parents to COMMAND and CORRECT their children. In doing so we teach them that there is pain in disobedience and this is a great spiritual revelation and principal.

Begin at HOME. This passage illustrates clearly to the family. LIVE – GIVE JESUS.

LIVE the WORDS of GOD and GIVE them to our children to LIVE also.

Deu 32:51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

Moses musta been sad. He had led these folks through the wilderness out of slavery and had poured himself 100% into these folks and now he could not go into the Promised Land. How many preachers will get to the other side of eternity only see the promised land but unable to enter? Lord help us to get the message of obedience out to everyone.

  12. 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
What a beautiful description of our God!!! When you fall in love with Jesus and He becomes your ALL, you can’t help but shout His love, share His Love, and give His Love!!! He is my One and Only, my First Love JESUS!!! Be intentional today, reach out to someone, and let them know Jesus Loves them!!

  13. Deut.32:7 [Amp] Remember that days of old; consider the years of many generations. Ask your father and he will show you, your elders, and they will show you, your elders, and they will tell you. I remember my old pastor William Fielding and Fran Fielding what they taught me in there church about God. They always taught me to stay in church no matter what. Live and Love Jesus with all your heart. Set my mind and heart on him. Repent , Read his word and study and grow. Bless the elders you can learn alot things you didn’t even know. And now I have a Wonderful Pastor that teaches us how to grow in Jesus. So let’s grow in Jesus together as one. ” Halaula Praise God. Thank you Jesus for for all the people that are coming to church to be Born Again. To Grow in Jesus!

  14. “But Israel soon became fat and unruly; the people grew heavy, plump, and stuffed! Then they abandoned the God who had made them; they made light of the Rock of their salvation.
    Deuteronomy 32:15 NLT

We must gaurd ourselves from getting spiritually fat. We can get to the point of be complacent and view serving Him a routine. We must take the approach of always being hungry and seek Him desperately.

  16. Deuteronomy 32
47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

    Not Just Idle Words
Life is found in the Word of God . So many times we don’t even hear what is being said by people around us let alone the man of God that has prepared the words God has given him. We sometime begin to tune our without realizing it and everything sounds like Blah, blah ,blah. We clap we say Amen as a ritual.
We read the word and sometimes we are finished and we have no idea what we just read . We are in such a hurry . If life is in the Word we must thoroughly eat the word understanding what is being preached and applying it. There it is again you may read this blog and go right into blah blah blah syndrome. Listen the next time someone speaks or you are sitting church or you are reading the word of God . Does it become blah blah blah let me get finished or is a life moment . Life is breath. God breathed on man with inspiration to write the words ,

Not just idle words but words filled with Life !

    John 10:10
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

    John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    Live Jesus Give Jesus

  17. 49 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:

50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

51 Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

52 Yet thou shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.

Obedience is so important to God that all that Moses had been through with the Lord, and all that he had accomplished with the Lord, still his disobedience at the rock caused him to see the land but not enter the land.

We must keep on the straight and narrow pathway. Obedience is better than sacrifice. I would hate to get to judgment and the Lord say “look over into the heavens” you can see it, but you cannot enter because you were disobedient. God help me.

  18. Living for God is a daily gift. Its never boring or repetitive because there are always souls in need and that is our mission.

  19. 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

God sees our ending from the beginning and knows our end without him. He tells Israel their end, that they will rebel against him when they are well established in the land. We can’t become complacent when we are blessed of God. He is the God of judgement and even Moses is judged even though he is the man of God for the people. We need him more and more the longer we live for him and see the day of his coming approaching.

  20. I Love To Worship The Lord

    Deut. 32:4 (Faithfulness)
As an attribute of God, “faithfulness” expresses the total dependability of God’s character and His utter commitment to keeping all His promises.

    Deut. 32:6 (God as Father)
The added words “your Creator,” remind us that in the O.T. God is viewed as Father in a limited sense. He is Father in the sense of Originator, the One who gives existence. Only in the N.T. is the more personal sense of the Father found.

  21. ““The Lord saw this and drew back, provoked to anger by his own sons and daughters. He said, ‘I will abandon them; then see what becomes of them. For they are a twisted generation, children without integrity.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When God’s people forsake Him, He withdraws the intimacy of His presence. At first, this is sometimes seen as a relief, because the conviction of sin is not so great. But then the darkness and desperation set in.
When we hit rock bottom but still don’t listen to God’s call to repentance, God then sends His hand of correction, and allows calamity to bring the attention of His people back upon Him. Sometime Gods has to used methods to bring us back to him. Just like a father corrects his children, God also has to correct us. Not because He doesn’t love us, but because He loves us so much that he must call out our attention.

  22. ““The Lord saw this and drew back, provoked to anger by his own sons and daughters. He said, ‘I will abandon them; then see what becomes of them. For they are a twisted generation, children without integrity. They have roused my jealousy by worshiping things that are not God; they have provoked my anger with their useless idols. Now I will rouse their jealousy through people who are not even a people; I will provoke their anger through the foolish Gentiles. For my anger blazes forth like fire and burns to the depths of the grave. It devours the earth and all its crops and ignites the foundations of the mountains. I will heap disasters upon them and shoot them down with my arrows. I will weaken them with famine, burning fever, and deadly disease. I will send the fangs of wild beasts and poisonous snakes that glide in the dust. Outside, the sword will bring death, and inside, terror will strike both young men and young women, both infants and the aged. I would have annihilated them, wiping out even the memory of them. But I feared the taunt of Israel’s enemy, who might misunderstand and say, “Our own power has triumphed! The Lord had nothing to do with this!”’”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:19-27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When God’s people forsake Him, He withdraws the intimacy of His presence. At first, this is sometimes seen as a relief, because the conviction of sin is not so great. But then the darkness and desperation set in.

  23. he added: “Take to heart all the words of warning I have given you today. Pass them on as a command to your children so they will obey every word of these instructions. These instructions are not empty words—they are your life! By obeying them you will enjoy a long life in the land you will occupy when you cross the Jordan River.”
    Deuteronomy 32:46‭-‬47 NLT

“These instructions are not empty words – they are your life!” Obey the Word of God and teach it to generations to come!

  24. 10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye
This verse remind me of how the Lord called me and turned my life around.
    Reminds me of this song.

When I Think about the Lord,
How He saved me, how He raised me,
How He filled me, with the Holy Ghost.
How He healed me, to the uttermost.

When I Think about the Lord,
How He picked me up and turned me around,
How He placed my feet on solid ground

    It makes me wanna shout,
    Hallelujah,
    Thank you JESUS,
LORD, your worthy, of all the glory, and all the honor,
    And all the praise…

  25. Deuteronomy 32:45-47 (The Living Bible Paraphrased)
    45) When Moses and Joshua had recited all the words of this song to the people,
    46) Moses made these comments: Meditate upon all the laws I have given you today, and pass them on to your children.
    47) These laws are not mere words – they are your life! Through obeying them you will live long, plentiful lives in the land you are going to possess across the Jordan River.

“These laws are not mere words – they are your life!”
The Law, which is God’s Word, is not mere words, or as other versions say, “idle or empty words,” BUT it is our life. We Read It, we Meditate On It, we Keep It, we Hide It In Our Heart, we Do It, we Speak It, we Stand On It, we Live By It. God’s Word is Life to us. We need to Pass It On to our children (and to others we come into contact with). We must LIVE JESUS (the Word), so that we can GIVE JESUS (the Word).

Even Jesus said to his disciples in St. John 6:63, “… the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

  26. 10 The Lord found them in an empty desert where the wind was blowing. He was careful about them and he loved them. He did not let anyone hurt them, because they were so valuable to him.
11 He was like a large bird. A bird teaches its young birds to fly. The large bird flies below them and catches them. It carries them on its back. They do not fall. The Lord also was very careful about the Israelites and they were safe.
    Deuteronomy 32:11 EASY
    https://bible.com/bible/2079/deu.32.11.EASY
The Lord our God has taken us in his arms, We are his children. He watches over us all the time. The Lord our God is always here for us watching over us making ng sure we are safe, protected. He has taken us under his wing and hold is tight and makes sure we don’t let go. The Lord our God is always here for us and never leave our side.

  27. 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
the god we serve is a truthful, faithful and righteous God and we will love him in all our paths.

  28. 16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

The people sacrificed themselves to devils not the Lord. They made him jealous made him angry. Trying to make them unhappy, But God wanted / wants us to know even being provoked you can still be happy.

  29. 12 So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.
Well it seems picture perfect for someone in distress or in need of Gods Favour. God really just wants relationship with you and if you cant give him that I wouldn’t expect too much. Though I was in the world 3 almost 4 years ago I was being groomed behind the scenes. Little did I know I had a praying momma at church little did I know I had a fasting momma, a strong woman of God with relationship with God praying for me. It wasn’t until I confessed with my lips that I wanted to live for God before it was manifested. God has such an amazing way of preparing someone for his kingdom. It was like a light switch folks, that same weekend I was partying I was drinking and smoking but when GOD GOT AHOLD OF ME oh boy watch out cause I went to work and began to testify I began my very OWN relationship with God and he led me where I am today. To say I didn’t stumble to say I didn’t fall would be a lie but what I did do was kept looking forward I kept looking to the heavens and seeking him diligently and He made a way EVERY SINGLE TIME! So give yourself to him and don’t get tied up in false prophets and idol worshipping because God just wants something simple from you and that’s time.. time to pray time to read time to blog and time to fast..beOne with God love him seek him and ask nothing more than to dwell in his presence.

  30. God always gives a choice. It amazes me how many people went against our Lord. Today we have choices to do God’s will or be in the world. God loves us and wants us happy. We shouldn’t provoke our Lord. We must continue to worship Jesus and follow His commandments.

  31. 1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

3 Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

YES!!! HOLY BOLDNESS… I WILL SPEAK AND YOU WILL LISTEN, YEAH!!! AMEN!!!!

  32. For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.

29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

We are a nation that was founded upon the counsel of God. The word of God built this nation yet as the years progress we are falling further and further away from our foundation. We must get back to the basics and seek God first so that we do not reap a sinners reward.

  33. “I will praise the name of the Lord, and his people will tell of his greatness. “The Lord is your mighty defender, perfect and just in all his ways; Your God is faithful and true; he does what is right and fair.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:3-4‬ ‭GNT‬‬

In all that you do give thanks unto god. Praise him through the good praise him through the bad. Never forget that If god be for you who can be against you. God is always fighting for you!

  34. 17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

People that would read this and then say that they would never be that person or do something like that, and yet they are a slave to certain things in the world and sacrificing to devils. Sacrificing is not only “human sacrificing”, it could mean multiple things today. Maybe sacrificing our time to devils or other gods when we give more time to the distractions we are sacrificing to that entity rather than God himself.

  35. “Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Remembering our past, our testimony, what God has done in our lives isn’t for the sake of remembering the “good ole days” but to recognize where we fell and who delivered us from whatever challenge we faced (it’s always JESUS by the way). Time and Time again God has shown us that He will never fail or forsake us and that we can put our trust in Him. I thank God for making a way of escape for us. I pray we always remember the power in our testimony!

  36. “Where now are those gods, who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their offerings? Let those gods arise and help you! Let them provide you with shelter! Look now; I myself am he! There is no other god but me! I am the one who kills and gives life; I am the one who wounds and heals; no one can be rescued from my powerful hand!”
In this scripture Jesus tells us the false gods that we now idolize he asks where are they now. The Lord then says let your god provide for you, let them shelter you, let them supply your needs. the Lord saying don’t you realize That he is God the only one true God that created you, the one that supply ALL your needs, the one that provides for your shelter. He is the one that can heal all sickness and disease, and he is the one that rises the dead to wake and there no one like him and there is none false idols that cannot rescue by there own might for they are fake god. But Jesus is the only one that can rescue you with his mighty hand!.
    Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:38-39‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  37. 46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

Moses exhorted for the to take heed and obey all the Words of God written on the law. And he is one to talk with a great example for he himself is the one that has experience on the consequences of disobeying a command from God. For Moses, it cost him going I to the promised land. He saw it but did not go in. Now he can testify that there is definitely life and prolonged life and blessing on obeying and doing the Word.

  38. 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Who is the Rock of our salvation…..Whose work is perfect, for all His ways are just. Truly, He is a God of faithfulness Who is without injustice, and He is righteous and upright in all His ways. Thank You God for You are our Rock of salvation, our firm Anchor and our gracious Provider. We praise You and glorify Your holy name, You are faithful and just in all Your ways. You are righteous and true in all You do amen!!

  39. “The Lord is a mighty rock, and he never does wrong. God can always be trusted to bring justice.”(‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:4‬ ‭CEV‬‬)

The Lord our God is unstoppable for he can never be shaken or be moved for he is perfect in all his ways. God is always faithful and there’s no evil within him for he is fair and true to all that love him.

  40. “He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Through barrenness and desolation God kept his people. He kept them with a miracle. He loved them through the complaints of the wilderness and kept them safe.

  41. 3I will proclaim the name of the LORD; how glorious is our God!

Always speak his name. Don’t be ashamed of his name, Jesus. If someone asks, speak his name with confidence and encouragement them to seek Jesus.

  42. My doctrine shall drop as the rain

    Deuteronomy 32:2 KJV
[2] My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

    Deuteronomy 7:7 KJV
[7] The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

    Matthew 22:9-14 KJV
[9] Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. [10] So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. [11] And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: [12] And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. [13] Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. [14] For many are called, but few are chosen.

  43. Deuteronomy 32:46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.

    Love the Lord
Deuteronomy 11:19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

  44. “”You and Aaron disobeyed me in front of the Israelites. It happened at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You did not honor me among the Israelites as the holy God. So you will see the land. But you will see it only from far away. You will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.””
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:51-52‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

The tragedy of disobedience. Instead of entering into the land of promise he could only view it from a far. It’s one decision away from blessings or tragedy.

  45. “How could one man chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the Lord had given them up? For their rock is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:30-31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It’s so easy to get worried and anxious when the enemy begins to go to war with you but we always need to remember that God is on our side. There is nothing too Big or too great that God can’t handle so when I enemy is literally shaking in his boots then what do we have to be afraid of?? If God be for us, who am be against is??!

  46. 39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

The tradition of adopting idols or false gods into there worship was a constant problem.

One of the ways that this happen was thru marriage. God commanded them to not marry any one outside there culture. This string warning came because God knew that, the pagan would win the heart of the Israelite and they would easily abandon there faith.

It was the most subtle way to drive a people away from there God. It’s the little things God keeps us from that can guard the biggest parts of our faith!

  47. Though Moses will not be allowed to cross the Jordan and enter the Promised Land, he can view the land of Canaan. That is the beautiful thing about the Lord. He can give you visions and promises and let them only see them but we will not get to live them. Don’t dismay but keep praying and believing that it will happen. I believe many of us are here because our ancestors prayed for us. I am first generation Pentecostal and I praise God for having a generation before me praying for me and watering the plow with prayers and fasting. We must do the same for those that have no connection to God, we know that He will use us to being those to Him. In Jesus Name!!
