Deuteronomy 33

And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.

Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.

And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.

And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.

And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;

Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.

10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.

11 Bless, Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.

12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.

13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,

14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,

15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,

16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.

17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

18 And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.

19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.

20 And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.

21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.

22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion’s whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.

23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.

24 And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.

25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.

26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.

27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.

29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

  1. The arm of the Lord

27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

The arm of the Lord does two significantly different things here. The first is a refuge that we hide under but the second is desolations for the enemy. God is wonderful to his people with the same hand he is terrible to his enemies. You can either hide underneath his mercy or be crushed by his judgment. I choose mercy

  2. 3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.

5 And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.

7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.

  3. Verse 29 NLT “How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!” This verse reminded me of what was preached last night, where he spoke about Romans 8:31 NLT “What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

Psalm 91:9-16 NLT says “If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”

  4. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Through all that Moses has accomplished through obedience, he gives a blessing upon each tribe of Israel and describes it how God had his hand upon them. I find that all that they have done to go from captivity to blessings in the promised land, God’s arm was mesh too short not to help them over come every obstacle. He provided means for them every step of the way to Canaan.

The best of the scripture here, is that not only was the blessing for that moment, but for the generations to come. To know that God is our refuge and strength, his everlasting arms of love are placed around us, and the protect is from any enemy. Is name is excellent and we need to lift praises for the blessings that are bestowed upon us. We have to trust that he will not leave us nor forsake us through it all.

  5. 29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

Happy am I, The salvation of the Lord is upon my head and upon my home and upon my people.

  6. 28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.

29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

    Psalms 91:4
He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

    Psalms 91:2
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.

I remember being a child and being scared of thunderstorms. I knew that I could always call out to my parents and they always make me feel safe. I’m so thankful that is always there to shield in times of trials and opposition.

“Without Him I could do nothing
    Without Him I’d surely fail
Without Him I would be drifting
Like a ship without a sail

Without Him I would be dying
    Without Him I’d be enslaved
Without Him life would be worthless
But with Jesus thank God I’m saved

    Oh Jesus, oh Jesus
    Do you know Him today
    Please don’t turn Him away
    Oh Jesus, oh Jesus
Without Him how lost I would be
Without Him how lost I would be”

  7. 26. There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor.

    27. The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’

    29. How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs! NLT

Who is like You Lord in all the earth
No one can compare to Your great worth
    Worthy of all praise
    Matchless is Your Name
I’ll sing a song of Your great Name

    Forever I will praise You
I will lift my hands and praise You
For there is nobody like You
No one else deserves the praise like You do

  8. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
When you stay in his arms your comforted, stay within his word and you’ll have the strength to fight. His word gives you an eternal fire to fight anything.

  9. 3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

Jesus loves us so much that he came and died and rose again that we could be saved.

  10. Deut.33 : 26-27 [Amp] There is none like God, O Jeshurum [ Israel] , Who rides through the heavens to help and in His majestic glory through the skies.
The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He drove the enemy before you and thrust them out, saying, Destory !
Prov.17: 10 [Amp] The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [ consistently] righteous man [ upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [ above evil] and strong. Without Jesus in our lives we are nothing! Thank you Jesus for the blood. He did for us, Now it is time for us to do the same for him. I love Jesus and everything about him. I will praise and worship him and love him.

  11. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Eternal God = eternal victory. I will praise thee Oh Lord with my whole heart!

  12. 16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.

Blessings will always follow those who are faithful to God. Even though it is not without trials the favor of God will always be upon his children. Out of all the children of Israel Joseph seem to always have the right attitude regardless of the situation. You don’t ever read about him being angry or jealous but rather open to wherever God took him

  13. 4. Oh, how you love the people, all his holy ones are palmed in your left hand. They sit at your feet, honoring your teaching… MSG

As James states in chapter 1; are we doers or only hearers of the Word (teachings)? We are a very privileged people at POFW. We have some of the best Godly teachers on Earth. Hearing without doing, is like looking at your face in a mirror and then walking away and forgetting what you look like. Doing means that you see yourself in the work of His Kingdom and then you live yourself into that vision. You look into that mirror, and you do what you see.

It’s not the old saying “What would Jesus do?” It is more than that. It’s, “What would I do, if I were full of Jesus?” How will we give Jesus if we are doers of the Word and live Jesus?

  14. Deuteronomy 33
    New Living Translation
The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’

The enemy is under my feet!
We are mighty warriors equipped for battle.
As we walk throughout the enemy’s territory this week we must know and declare that God is our refuge and strength. In the midst of our weakness God becomes stronger. Moses reminded each tribe of the blessings that were being bestowed upon them. Jesus is our refuge ,our shelter ,our strength when there is no one else He is always ready to listen . When no one else understands or even knows where you have truly been and where God has brought you from they will not grasp what is taking place as you march into the enemy’s camp of your mind and completely surrender all to God as He becomes your refuge. What’s the deal ? The enemy is being remind and destroyed as we run into the safest place there is ! The arms of God. I think of the twelve tribes of Israel mentioned here. The blessings and the curses. The reminder of their delivery from the enemy . There must have been a lot of emotional baggage that had to be loosed . The loss of those who rebelled , those with unbelief and doubt . Yet Moses once again declares and speaks to each tribe and the affirmation the enemy is defeated and God is the refuge! His parting proclamation I’m sure in hopes his words would linger in their minds forever! Yes God’s arms are right here driving out the enemy He is our refuge and strength!

  15. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

God is our refuge. In him we can find safety from the things the enemy throws our way. The verse says he shall thrust out the enemy. We have no need to fear when God is with us. In him we find shelter and strength.

  16. iLove Jesus
This is the final moments of Blessings from Moses before his death.
6″ Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.” Even though Reuben was cursed earlier in Genesis, here Moses blesses the tribe. Now, even though Moses blesses everyone it must be really sad to know of Israels true backsliding right around the corner. (God had already shown him their future idol worship)

  17. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Refuge – a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble.
    something providing shelter.

    His everlasting arms represent strength.

When this world attacks, He gives us a place of safety.

When we are weak, He is our strength!

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  18. 26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

My GOD is just and faithful

  19. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    GIVE A BLESSING

1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.

Human nature tends to highlight and even focus on the negative things of life. However, I believe that there is a mental place, a mindset that could propel the Apostolic Church in the last days. Lets focus on the things that are a Blessing.

Moses life was not perfect, he knew he was not able to possess the promise land. However as we read in this passage, Moses chose rather to speak a BLESSING of the children of Israel.

I am challenged to practice this powerful Kingdom Building opportunity. Bless someone each day with the Blessings of the LORD that HE has Blessed me with. Knowledge, Wisdom, Grace, Peace, Finances, Faith, Hope, Love, Joy.

  20. 29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

He is our shield and sword, protector and savior, there is no one blessed like the people of the mighty God. Though the enemy comes in like a flood, he raises up a standard against his attack. The word of God is powerful and sharper than a two edged sword and we must use in battle. Thank you Lord for our many blessings and protection from the storms of life.

  21. “Happy and blessed are you, O Israel;
Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord,
    The Shield of your help,
And the Sword of your majesty!
Your enemies will cringe before you,
And you will tread on their high places [tramping down their idolatrous altars].”

Moses gave each tribe a blessing before his life came to an end. How great a leader is that? Knowing that your time is close, yet wanting to encourage and strength the people that you have led through the wilderness to their promise land.

How much God loves His people that He would take the time to send a word of encouragement. It doesn’t matter what test/trial we go through, we can always find encouraging word in His Word to lift us up and strengthen us. Too many times people don’t take the time to read the Word, they just seek for someone to speak to them when God is wanting to speak to us Himself.

  22. 26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

There is none like our God!! Higher than a king, or a priest, or a president! There is no one else that is like Him! There is no one else that can compare to Him! With Him we are safe and covered always, He shall push away our enemies and destroy them!!

29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

This verse could easily be an Anthem!! There should be a song wrote with these lyrics!! We are a happy people, because who is like us!! We are happy and saved by our Lord!! He is our help and He is excellent!! Enemies will be caught in their own lies and will have to take the high road!! FOR WE ARE A HAPPY PEOPLE!!!

  23. Moses gets to impart a blessing upon each tribe of Israel before they leave. It’s bittersweet because he has lead them a large part of his life. He has to trust that God will be with them as the enter the promised land. The Lord already knows that they will soon fall into idolatry. The last time Moses wasn’t by their side they made a golden calf. They have been warned, but they will also be blessed. With great blessings come much responsibility.

  24. I Love To Worship The Lord

Moses is about to take his last, long journey up Mt. Nebo to glimpse the Promised Land and die. But first, as the spiritual father of Israel, Moses pronounces a blessing on the 12 tribes. In that time, such a blessing had special legal and prophetic significance. Moses’ blessing takes the form of praise, prayers, predictions, and commands for each tribe.

  25. Deuteronomy 33:26-29 (NLT)
    26) There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor.
    27) The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, Destroy them!
    28) So Israel will live in safety, prosperous Jacob in security, in a land of grain and new wine, while the heavens drop down dew.
    29) How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!

“There is no one like the God of Israel.”
“There is no one like our God!”
GOD will help us. HE is our refuge. HIS everlasting arms are under us to support us and protect us. HE drives out our enemy and gives us the Power to Destroy them. We live in safety and security. We are so Blessed. HE has saved us. HE is our shield and sword. He gives us Power to Stomp, Stomp, Stomp, Stomp on the devil.

  26. Deuteronomio 33:26-29

  27. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say Destroy them.

The Lord God wants to love and protect us!!

    Hallelujah!!

    Praise Him always!!

  28. How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the Lord ? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!”
    Deuteronomy 33:29 NLT

When the enemy tries to put you down and strike fear in you.. Remember that we are children of an Almighty God. He is our protector our provider, our shield and when we face an enemy they will cringe and flee.

  29. Deuteronomy 33:1
And this is the blessing wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. Deu 33:2 And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them Deu 33:3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words. Since Jesus Christ’s birth had not happened as of yet, God used Moses to help direct the Israelite’s toward righteousness. God spoke thru Moses to help the people. He often uses people to help direct us to the truth, as our Pastor Watts and Gwen Watts. I again thank all of the wonderful P. O. F. W. people that do so much to help us on the way to being Godly.

  30. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

He is our refuge! Nobody can measure up. He is ALL we need.
And its a beautiful thing when you have personal testimonies of what the Lord has done.

  31. The Lord became king in Israel — when the leaders of the people assembled, when the tribes of Israel gathered as one.”
    Deuteronomy 33:5 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/deu.33.5.NLT

this verse is very powerful. It speaks of the power of what happens whenever God’s people joined together in unity and Harmony. Great and Mighty things can happen whenever we are all on the same page and we are fighting for the same cause we are pushing back the darkness of this world and we are advancing the kingdom of God together. It says right here that God becomes our King when we are in unity. that’s why some things just don’t seem to go as smoothly or work out as well whenever there are issues inside of the body of Christ but oh what would happen if we turn to each other, we forgive each other, we embrace and love each other and become a United Force. then I believe the spirit of God would be unrestricted in these last days and His glory would shine and go forth in abundance and in a power like we’ve never seen before. I pray for unity, Harmony, and perfect health in the body of Christ in these last days. In Jesus name

  32. 26 There is no one like the God of Israel.
He rides across the heavens to help you,
across the skies in majestic splendor.
27 The eternal God is your refuge,
and his everlasting arms are under you.
    He drives out the enemy before you;
    he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’

In His arms is where I want to be because in His arms is where we find His compassion, protection and mercy. This text is truly beautiful, simply knowing that I can turn to God in such a way and He will not only refuge me, He destroys the enemy. It brings me so much peace and helps me realize how much God really loves us. In His arms is where we find His compassion, protection and mercy. It’s beautiful to know that we can turn to God to find this refuge. There is no safer place to be than within the powerful, yet gentle arms of our Lord and Savior.

  33. 27 The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’ 28 So Israel will live in safety, prosperous Jacob in security, in a land of grain and new wine, while the heavens drop down dew.29 How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!”

‭In this scripture Moses reminds the Israelites of the goodness of the Lord your God. He tells the Israelite that he is our refuge and that he is the everlasting father, and when we cry out to the Lord he will hear our cries and will crush our enemies under our feet. Moses says to the Israelites how bless are you for you have been save by God and been bless by him, he is your protector and he is your sword. the Lord gives us victory over our enemies and we stomp on devil, the Lord does this because he loves his people and will guide them to righteousness in Jesus name!
    Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:27-29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  34. 27 He is the God who has always been alive. He is the safe place where you can hide. And his strong arms are always under you, to hold you. He will send away your enemies in front of you. He says to you, “Destroy them!”
    Deuteronomy 33:27 EASY

The Lord our God is always there for us he will never leave our side. He is our father he holds us in his arms when we need to be held, he listens to us when we need to talk. The Lord our God is always there for us. Live GIVE JESUS!

  35. 26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.

27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

There is no one in this world like our God. He will always be our forever Lord thy God! His arms are forever he will protect us, help us with our struggles, heal our minds. Remember god will protect us all from all evil, remember we need to follow his commandments and love him because he loves us with every single piece of him.

What an awesome way to face our days he is mighty in every way. He is our strength Moses then tells Israel they can even stomp the enemy’s back that they will cringe before them. Well news flash were gods people adopted by the blood so that goes for us as well. YOU have authority to stomp the enemy’s back so lets act like it in Jesus name.

  37. “Joseph: “Blessed by GOD be his land: The best fresh dew from high heaven, and fountains springing from the depths; The best radiance streaming from the sun and the best the moon has to offer; Beauty pouring off the tops of the mountains and the best from the everlasting hills; The best of Earth’s exuberant gifts, the smile of the Burning-Bush Dweller. All this on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the consecrated one among his brothers. In splendor he’s like a firstborn bull, his horns the horns of a wild ox; He’ll gore the nations with those horns, push them all to the ends of the Earth. Ephraim by the ten thousands will do this, Manasseh by the thousands will do this.””
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:13-17‬ ‭MSG‬‬

  38. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

God is home our father and will open up to his arm to us when we call on the name of Jesus. God will far and hight to help us and cast the devil out!

  39. 27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Moses last blessing to the Israelites and a reminder of what a shield of protection they have on their side. Which is the same shield of protection we have today! We obtain the most highest refuge any mankind can have. The Lord’s everlasting arms will protect us from our enemies and destroy them before us. Such a beautiful and graceful love of God we have. Thank you Jesus for your great love and protection.

  40. Put God FIRST

    Deuteronomy 33:20 KJV
[20] And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.

    Deuteronomy 33:24 KJV
[24] And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.

    Exodus 19:10,14,17 KJV
[10] And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

[14] And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

[17] And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

    Luke 7:46 KJV
[46] My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

  41. 7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.

The Lord will always hear the voice of praise. God has a special place and will always come to his aid.

  42. With his death nearing, Moses gathered many of the Israelites and noted that he would be blessing the various tribes. Actually, it would be the Lord who would be blessing the tribes but He would be doing it through Moses whom the Lord had recently spoke to. He mentioned those hearing these words should bow in reverence to the Lord and heed what is being said.

    Blessings to the Tribes
Judah is mentioned and praised. It is pointed out that he defends the good cause. Levi is mentioned and it is said that while he rejected members of his own family, he was quick to maintain his strong covenant with God. He also always offered burnt offerings. As a result, his name is to be honored. As for Benjamin, it is stated the Lord will always have love for Benjamin for the deeds he had done.

The land of Joseph was to be blessed in a special manner. The land would always have very good harvests and the people living in these lands would greatly benefit from living in this region. Praise for Zebulun was offered and the bounty of the sea and the land would be available for his peopl

  43. 26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.

    Amen!!!

  44. Like for Moses was coming to a end. He knew he would not see the promised Land but that did not mean he couldn’t speak blessings over the people. Let us learn from his actions. Let us be willing to bless others even when our moment to shine is coming
    To the end.

  45. “This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave to the people of Israel before his death:”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It amazes me that Moises would look out for his people so much that he couldn’t leave with out a blessing from the Lord.
God will never leave us with out blessing us even though we don’t deserve it at times. But His love for us is greater than anything in this world.

    Be Bless In JESUS NAME!!!
“‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’”
    ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭6:24-26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  46. 11 Bless, Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.

  47. 7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.

“Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah….and be thou an help to him from his enemies.”

Our praise to God will lead us to victory.
Those who come against a praiser will surely fail.

  48. None had such a God as Israel. There is no people like God people. Never were people so well seated and sheltered. Those who make God their habitation, shall have all the comforts and benefits of a habitation in him, Ps 91:1.
Our God is awesome, there is no God like Jehovah and his name is JESUS.

  49. 22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion’s whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.
24 And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be
acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.

Each people had their own specific blessing. Why is it today, we try to do exactly what The Word tells us not to do, comparing ourselves amongst ourselves, desiring our brothers’ blessings, and not being thankful for our own blessings. Jesus has blessed each of us specifically just as He had Moses bless each tribe specifically.

  50. Deuteronomy 33:26,27 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

Jeremiah 10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou are great, and I name is great in might.

Psalm 90:1 LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

  51. “Israel, how happy you are! There is no one like you, a nation saved by the Lord. The Lord himself is your shield and your sword, to defend you and give you victory. Your enemies will come begging for mercy, and you will trample them down.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:29‬ ‭GNT‬‬

There is nothing like being on the winning side of the team. God has our back! Thankful that god is our protector and has our backs.

  52. ““There is no one like the God of Israel. He rides across the heavens to help you, across the skies in majestic splendor. The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:26-27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If God be for us who can be against us. We have the King of kings and Lord of lords who protects and Defends. And who can compare to our Great God? We win!

  53. “Your strongholds will be iron and bronze, And as your days are, so will your strength, your rest and security be.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:25‬ ‭AMP‬‬

We find power in Him, we find peace in Him, and we find comfort in Him. No matter the stronghold or weapon that comes against us, we always have access to the King who fights for us. I thank God for being a faithful God, never failing never forsaking. I pray we stand boldly in Him, putting on the full armor of God.

  54. 6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.

7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.

And this is the blessing of Judah!!! This is the blessing of praise….when we praise the Lord with our voice and our hands it shall be a weapon for the enemy!! When we are praising God no matter the circumstance we are on the winning side. The enemy might see you down and defeated but your going to say NO DEVIL!!! for my Lord is on my side and if he is with me who can be against me!!!

“For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” Deut. 20:4

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Rom. 8:31

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Josh. 1:9

“Through You we will push back our adversaries; Through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us.” Ps. 44:5

  55. “Gad: “Blessed is he who makes Gad large. Gad roams like a lion, tears off an arm, rips open a skull. He took one look and grabbed the best place for himself, the portion just made for someone in charge. He took his place at the head, carried out GOD ’s right ways and his rules for life in Israel.””
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:20-21‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Like a boss! Know what you want and be willing to take it and make it happen.

  56. “Moses said this about the tribe of Judah: “O Lord, hear the cry of Judah and bring them together as a people. Give them strength to defend their cause; help them against their enemies!””
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭33:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Hear the cry and bring unity. Wow. We heard on Sunday about how to overcome our pain. Part of that is to cry out and worship God. Then God inhabits the praises of his people. And then when we are praising for victory, God and ants us to be one. When we are unified and lift him high then we can go great things because of the unity.

  57. 3 Indeed, he loves his people; all his holy ones are in his hands. They follow in his steps and accept his teaching.

Yes, God loves everyone, its up to each one of us to love him back. God will treat us all like a loving father, but are we willing to do the same. If you love God, and develop a relationship with him, we’ll be willing to follow in his steps.
