Deuteronomy 34

And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.

And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

  1. Lord let us not just see the kingdom but also let us enter the kingdom . The saddest part of this was moses only saw the kingdom he didn’t enter the kingdom. I don’t just wanna see the kingdom i also want to enter the kingdom. I pray we all have that desire.

  2. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

What a glorious day that will be when I see my lord face to face. He might’ve just seen and not enter the promised land but God said I knew him face to face.

  3. 9. And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

What could God do through us, if we all allowed the gifts of the Spirit to work freely?

    1 Timothy 4:14
Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

  4. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

Wow, the only prophet that knew God Face to face! !! To think of all the wonders and miracle Moises got to see and do in God’s Mighty Name. A humble man, that fear God, and was not a man of words. God step in and before he knew, he was leading his brothers and sisters into freedom. It had to be hard to be on the top of the mountain as God showed him all the beautiful land He promised them and then be told but you can’t go in it. It would be like living a righteous life, getting all the way to the pearly gates and being told sorry you can’t enter to heaven because you were not baptized in Jesus Name and DONT have the gift of the Holy Ghost. That will happened to a lot of people because although they’re God fearing and righteous, they have not had the revelation of One God, One Faith, One Baptism. That is the main reason that we need to Go and spread the Good News Salvation is Here, Today, Now and we will do it SERVING!!!! SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY and that will open the doors to teach them and Give them JESUS!

  5. Deut. 34:7-8 [Amp] Moses was 120 years old when he died; his eye was not dim nor his natural force abated.
[8] And the Israelites wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
Wow being a 120 years old a man of faith and a servant of the Lord.
When God give you a purpose and a promise you shall receive it. My prayer today that we receive your knowledge and guildness through your word. I’m Jesus name.

  6. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Study his word, and look at the way he can use you in others life. Follow his ways, everything leads to a dead end.

  7. Now Joshua son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him, doing just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
    Deuteronomy 34:9 NLT

Obedient to the plan God had, Joshua had the opportunity to lead God’s people into their promise. Something you would’ve never thought possible is always possible with God if we are faithful and obedient to His Word.

  8. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

The anointing trickledown to Joshua. So amazing to see the will of God still being performed. One death wasn’t gonna stop what needed to be done. Moses a mighty man of God took it as far as he could, like today we still have mighty men leading people out of Egypt. They’re leading people out of sin and GIANT revivals are being held and miracles signs and wonders are being performed. Those man pass on to be with the Lord but revival continues why? Because it’s Gods will, it’s his promise “I will pour out my spirit on all flesh” so don’t ever get the big head thinking God can’t do something without you. Just be humble and thank him for using you to be a part of something great. It’s a God thing not a man thing

  9. 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day
7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

What an honor to have that done. While Moses’s desire was to enter the promised Land due to his disobedience God only allowed him to see it but in return has he died the Lord buried him to where no man knew. God is going to be graceful and merciful but still follow through with his judgments. I understand that Moses’s desire to enter into the promised Land it was denied and thus Gods punishment for his disobedience but the exchange he got far outweigh that. He is the only man that God has ever buried. Even though God will fulfill his chastisement sometimes he will still bless us through that.

  10. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

That should be our goal every day to know the Lord face to face.
Even through all the failures and set back Moses still knew the Lord. That tells when the devil comes and says you done missed up God don’t want you just remember Moses missed up a lot and did not get to go into the promise land because he did not obey the Lord. But the Lord still knew him.
So no matter what what yesterday the day before or today remember if we are still alive there is still time to know the Lord and get right with him.

  11. 9And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.

The great thing about Moses dying was that there would not be a prophet raised up in Israel like Moses that knew God gave to face. But the second greatest thing about Moses dying was that he had passed his mantle unto Joshua as commanded by God. Joshua was anointed by Moses and given charge by God. There were going to be some big shoes to fill for Joshua but he still had God.

Many times we get saddened by the spirit of transition and the children of Israel were sad, but they could rejoice in knowing that they were crossing over into the promise of God. A promise that was 40 years in the making. Joshua was going to do as the Lord commanded him to do because he had charge. To be full of the spirit of wisdom because Moses laid his hands upon Joshua. He was the leader God chose.
When God’s anointing is placed upon you, you can not take the anointing for granted. For we are not worthy of it or even the grace that we are able to partake in afresh every morning.

  12. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

This a great goal to shoot for. For God to know us face to face. We don’t minister for money or fame. We minister so that others may know him and power of his resurrection. In order to be lifted in Jesus, we must do what his word has commanded us to do. Our relationship with God is important. It is the most valuable relationship you can have.

  13. iLove the Kingdom
And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Filled with the spirit of Wisdom. We all need to be filled with the spirit of Wisdom. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Every single day we ought to pray for Wisdom to lead and us. You can have the Spirit of God and not be operating in Wisdom. Wisdom will help you escape every temptation that comes your way.

  14. 7 Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever.

The Lord our God gives us life, He strengthens us ,and He build us to be a strong warriors of Christ. In the 120 years that Moses lived, Lord gave Moses the power to teach the gospel of the Lord. He shared the word and with great power Moses perform great terrifying acts in which all Israel saw. In those years the Lord maintained Moses with good eyesight and a strong body.

7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

This story could have gone very different but because of disobedience and God kept his word, Moses only got to see the promise land.
God’s will, will happen with or without me or you, but i would sure hate to miss out because of disobedience.
I want to be part of the miracles, signs and wonders that 2020 will bring!

  17. Deuteronomy 34
    Moses appointment with God.
7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.

One appointment I want to be thoroughly prepared for …..

Hebrews 9:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

  18. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Joshua and Nun’s son we’re filled with the spirit of wisdom. When Moses died he gave his mantel to Joshua from God and that there would be no l e else in the world like Moses. *follow the lords commandments*

  19. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

    The passing of the mantle.

Because of his obedience and willingness to follow the Will of God, as Moses laid his hand on Joshua, the mantle was passed down and Joshua led the people into the promise land.

    Your obedience determines your anointing.

  20. 4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.

6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Following God’s commandments is not a chore, it leads to life eternal. Moses may have missed out on entering the Promiseland in the physical sense, but what a beautiful reward was waiting for him in Glory!

  21. Obedience to God is always the best quality. Moses obviously had a man of obedience or he could not have passed his mantle to him. God’s plan always the best!

I am intrigued today by the thought of the death of Moses. Moses the servant of the LORD. Moses the prophet of GOD. Moses the Friend of GOD. Moses the Miracle vessel. Moses the man with a concealed and secret tomb. This Great man of GOD died before his time.

Consider, the Bible says Moses was strong and still possessed strong vision. I believe Moses had to die so that Israel could possess the land. This being the result of ONE carnal decision to allow his frustrated flesh drove him to override the command of GOD.

GOD chose rather to send Israel into mourning over the man they fathers hated and take Moses than to leave Israel wondering longer so that Moses could live. Moses eyes were not dim like Isaac, Israel but he was strong enough to continue to lead, but GOD was ready to fulfill HIS promise to the people and Moses had been disqualified by GOD already for disobedience.

May we learn from this that GOD will move anyone to fulfill HIS promise. Also that our OBEDIENCE to GOD is more valuable than Face to Face meetings, Unique Miracles and Clear and Powerful prophesies.

  23. The people of Israel mourned for Moses on the plains of Moab for thirty days, until the customary period of mourning was over.
    Deuteronomy 34:8 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/deu.34.8.NLT

We end up getting swept up into the issues of life and we don’t allow ourselves the needed time to grieve for those we’ve lost. I think that’s why grief is such an underlying monster for people who are trying to live their lives. If we could push everything aside as much as we can and allow ourselves to unravel and process our grief we would be healthier emotionally.

  24. 8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

Thirty day was the usual time of mourning for persons of high place and eminence. It is a debt owing to the surviving honour of deceased worthies, to follow them with our tears, as those who loved and valued them, are sensible of the loss of them, and humbled for the sins which have provoked God to deprive us of them.
But we must do everything in our power to go into the promise Land. That’s why is important to me to serve him with all of my heart, soul and might.

  25. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Joshua has trained at the feet of Moses and had been given the wisdom needed to lead the people into their promise. Moses had appointed and anointed him.

Who are we training to raise up and lead in our ministries? My prayer today has been for the 80% that are not leading in ministries will step up and get involved to take some responsibility off the 20% that are carrying the load.

  26. 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

Is this saying that God himself buried Moses?? That is so stinking cool. I never realized that when reading this passage. Mind completely blown! I can’t wait to teach this in Wednesday Warriors. They will think it’s cool too.

7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

This is also very interesting. Moses did not die of old age or because he was diseased or messed up. He passed because it was in God’s time. God said that Moses time was over and done and so he passed.

10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

This amazes me in that, Moses spoke to God face to face. We knew this from our readings. Yet this generation that we’ve been reading about had the hardest time with backsliding, flip-flopping, indecisiveness, following instructions, or whatever else you want to call in. They praised and worshiped the Lord and then they are worshiping a golden calf, they repent and then fall into more trouble again. They were constantly struggling with listening and following authority, yet their authority was one of the greatest pastor’s/authority figures in the Bible. He spoke with God face to face. If we are not careful we can take for granted being in one of the greatest churches of our time. We could grow accustomed to being lead by one of the greatest authority figures of our time and be indecisive ourselves. Do not take for granted what God has given us and where he has placed us. We all have a place and a purpose under this great leadership and in Fort Worth! God has placed us all here for a purpose. Please, do not take for granted this great leadership. Take it from someone who has been in different shoes.

  27. 6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

God graciously showed Moses the promised land even though he could not go into it. It is amazing how He also buried Moses in an undisclosed place. Truth is that no one needs to know where its site is. The love God has for us so beautiful and compassionate.

  28. God knew exactly how to form our body to work accordingly. (My feelings)
I look at something I want then I reach for it with my hand, why didn’t my hand already pick it up?
Because that’s not Gods design. 30 days or 40 days it’s our choice

  29. 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

What a life….. to have gone through his whole life and being used of GOD but wasn’t allowed into the promised land…..
We should fight so that we don’t end up with all of our life to be lived in vain!!!

Wow JESUS , Help me JESUS!!!

  30. 7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.

Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.

Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

The Lord is our spiritual strength. Every time I get refilled I feel the weight lifted off and complete peace inside of me. We can’t do things without him don’t matter what it is. We can’t even wake up with Him allowing it. Let the Lord fill you daily!!!

  31. Deuteronomy 34:5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of God.
34:9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.
34:10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face
34:11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land

Moses knew the Lord face to face! There has been no prophet like him. God was ready for the Israelite’s to go to the promised land and since Moses had been disobedient he could not go to there so was buried in an undisclosed place NOT in the promised land. God made sure someone was still there to guide the Israelite’s as they had been weak to go back and forth with our Lord. Joshua was there to lead the people. Moses did as God commanded and laid hands on Joshua and God filled him with the Holy Spirit.

  32. 34:10 And there arose not a prophet since Israel like unto Moses, , whom the Lord knew face to face.
    ——
Yet , his life on earth could have been longer, reason we know why……
But he left us with a smile on our face knowing that he walked with God artillería his death, and got to know him in a very special unforgettable way.

  33. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LIRD knew face to face,

11 In all the signs and wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

12 And in all that mighty land, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

    Moses was obedient to God.

    Hallelujah!!

    Praise the Lord God Almighty!!!!

  34. I Love To Worship The Lord

    (The Promised Land)
Though Moses wanted to enter that land himself, he must have taken great comfort from the knowledge that soon the people he had led and loved would enter and possess it.

  35. “Then Moses went up to Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab and climbed Pisgah Peak, which is across from Jericho. And the Lord showed him the whole land, from Gilead as far as Dan; all the land of Naphtali; the land of Ephraim and Manasseh; all the land of Judah, extending to the Mediterranean Sea; the Negev; the Jordan Valley with Jericho—the city of palms—as far as Zoar.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:1-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This was God’s sweet grace to Moses. Though he could not set foot in the Promised Land, God allowed him to see it. Thank God for Grace!

  36. Deuteronomio 34:1-3

  37. Deuteronomy 34:4 & 11-12
    4) And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see
it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

    11) In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
    12) And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

How sad to think, that Moses the servant of the LORD (vs.5), who did signs and wonders, who led the children of Israel through the wilderness, who prayed and stood in the gap for the people of God, could not enter the Promised Land because of 1 act of Disobedience (when he struck the rock at the waters of Meribah- Kadesh).

This made me think of the scriptures found in St. Matt. 7:21-23 where Jesus said…
    21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in they name? and in they name have cast out devils? and in they name done many wonderful works? 23) And the will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

No matter how God may use us, it may take only 1 act of sin, iniquity, disobedience, unbelief, unforgiveness, etc… (for we are not saved by works) to keep us out of the Promised Land – the Kindom of Heaven.
This is why we must Repent of our sins everyday, Pray, Read His Word, Obey His Word, Do His Will not our own, Love the Lord with All our heart, soul, mind, and strength, Believe, have Faith, LIVE JESUS & GIVE JESUS, etc… so that we can enter our Promised Land – the Kingdom of Heaven

  38. “Then Moses went up to Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab and climbed Pisgah Peak, which is across from Jericho. And the Lord showed him the whole land, from Gilead as far as Dan; all the land of Naphtali; the land of Ephraim and Manasseh; all the land of Judah, extending to the Mediterranean Sea;”
    ‭‭

Just because Moses disobey Jesus he was not able to live in the promise land

  39. Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever.
    Deuteronomy 34:7 NLT

No matter how old or where we find ourselves in life. We must always stay strong and keep God’s vision.

  40. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.
if you can grow your relationship with god it can grow to unimaginable ways.

  41. It was talking about how Moses died. He died at the age of 120! It just felt good when I heard that . I want to be like Moses and stay strong in what Jesus tells me.

  42. “So Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the land of Moab, just as the Lord had said.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Moses was a true servant of the Lord, and even do he didn’t go into the promised land, he got to see it with his own eyes.
If we are to be a true servant of the Lord, we must see with God’s eyes, love like God Loves us, live like God lived in this world, give like God given for His people.
We often say it, and it sounds humble to say it, but it is more difficult to really live it. To be satisfied with simply being the servant of the LORD is a precious thing indeed, for when the Master is glorified, the servants are satisfied.

LIVE . GIVE . JESUS this alone should be our way to be servants of the Lord.

  43. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

Moses is gone now the mantle is passed to Joshua. The people respectful yielded to the wisdom that was passed on to him as he did as the Lord commanded him to do. Let us understand that that the wisdom of God will lead us but it will also cause others to be lead by us.

Moses walked in wisdom as he learned from Moses. Wisdom is the application of knowledge. I believe great leaders learn from leaders that have gone before them.

  44. In this chapter it talked about Moses. It talked about, how Moses did all of these good deeds for God. Moses also was the one with the staff trying to get Gods people back from Pharaoh. Moses died at the age of 120. Moses was a very good man of God. We want to have the amazing attitude and spirit that Moses had.

  45. 4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

Moses had walked closely with God.
He was an amazing leader, but I wonder if he ever stopped and looked at all of the choices he made some good, some not so good. Did he ever wonder what example he was leaving behind?¿ I want to think yes he did because what leader doesn’t think about the example their making. Reading about Moses and the people of Israel we know that Moses actions led to the consequence of not being allowed to go into the promised land. I stop and look at my life now and wonder about the choices I have made and the choices that are to be made I the future. For every choice has a consequence. We too can be remembered by being remembered as a living example of Christ. Although Moses didn’t enter the promised land a bigger reward awaited him for being a devoted follower of God. It was his faithfulness and persistent effort that help lead God’s people and there was no other leader like Moses…..There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.
    Deuteronomy 34:10

  46. 1 Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo. He went from the valley of Moab to the top of Mount Pisgah, across from the River Jordan. There, the Lord showed him the whole country, from Gilead to Dan.
    Deuteronomy 34:1 EASY

I should always obey what God has asked us to do, we should always o ey what God commands us to do. We need to be careful and listen to what God ask us to do, if not we won’t be able to enter the kingdom of God that’s why it’s so important for us to listen and obey the Lord our God .

  47. Deuteronomy 34

And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan, 2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea, … 5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.

  48. 4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

So do you really think he got the raw end of the deal? He gets to go be with God!!!

This made me think of why he didn’t get go into the promise land. It made me think of my obedience and my relationship with Jesus. I thought about how much i really do effect Gods promise and how long I continue to wonder in one spot before i excell. Obedience is key in most anything if we want to succeed or progress. In board games there are certain rules to reach a certain goal. While driving there are directions that have to be followed to get to your destination. Work there are rules that must be obeyed in order to continue to earn a paycheck. There is a level of effort to sustain those progressions in life. I as thinking about the effort that i put into progressing in the kingdom. I thought about the far greater gain in the kingdom, in my spirit, and in my relationship with Christ.

  49. Great or small

No matter how great or small you are in the plan of God, his plan is not contingent upon you. Moses was a patriarch and a great man of faith and miracles. But God had to move him aside so that the Kingdom could advance. Let us not get so big headed that we think God can’t do it without us.

  50. 5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.

According to the Word of the Lord. It will always come to pass and will accomplish that which was set out to. Two things being fulfilled according as God has said. First he had finally taken the children of Israel to where the promised land was. Then Moses dies just as the Lord had mentioned. He got to see the land but now God in. God will not take back His word. Whatever he says he will do, he will. It had been a while now since Moses had disobeyed God. Yet God still did not change his mind. HE is a God that fulfills and keeps his Word. It may take a little sometimes but he does not forget. Y

  51. “Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.” And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in Moab, as the Lord had said.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:4-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Some promises aren’t for you, there for those after you, but regardless be content knowing that God will stay true to any promises he makes.

  52. “There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.”(‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:10 NLT)

One of the most beautiful life experiences to have is knowing you are a child of God. Also knowing that we have the opportunity to speak to the Lord and seek his face ever day we wake up.

  53. 4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.

What a tragedy, to endure for a blessing, to see it, and not get to enjoy any of it!

  54. Verse 9 MSG “Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. The People of Israel listened obediently to him and did the same as when God had commanded Moses.” Moses had passed the mantle to Joshua and he was filled with the spirit of wisdom. The People of Israel listened obediently to him as they knew he was now going to bring them into their promise. Trust in the Lord and never do anything in haste, as the outcome of such ignorance can keep you from your promise.

  55. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,

11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

  56. “There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face. The Lord sent him to perform all the miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land. With mighty power, Moses performed terrifying acts in the sight of all Israel.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭34:10-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What a testimony to be know as the one who knew the Lord face to face. And to be used of God in miracles signs and wonders in the exodus of Egypt.

  57. 9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

It’s important we stay close and learn from the man of God. The wisdom they pass down to us will help us lead others to Christ.

  58. 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

What a mighty man of God they had. He knew their rebellious hearts and yet pleaded their cause to God when he was judging them becuase he loved this people. We are blessed with a great shepherd who loves us and prays for us knowing our weaknesses and failures. I’m thankful for my Pastor.

[Blog read yesterday but no internet to blog]

  59. 4Then the LORD said to Moses, “This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have now allowed you to see it with your own eyes, but you will not enter the land.”

Yes, God keeps his promises. You will be blessed but you may never see them. For example; if you teach your children about God, they will follow God. You may pass away, but at least you know that your future generations will continue to serve God.
