Psalm 31

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.

For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LordGod of truth.

I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the Lord.

I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.

10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

14 But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.

15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.

17 Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

21 Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

God of All My Days Song by Casting Crowns

I came to You with my heart in pieces
And found the God with healing in His hands
I turned to You, put everything behind me
And found the God who makes all things new
I looked to You, drowning in my questions
And found the God who holds all wisdom
And I trusted You and stepped out on the ocean
You caught my hand among the waves
‘Cause You’re the God of all my days
    Each step I take
    You make a way
And I will give You all my praise
My seasons change, You stay the same
You’re the God of all my days
I ran from You, I wandered in the shadows
And found a God who relentlessly pursues
I hid from You, haunted by my failure
And found the God whose grace still covers me
I fell on You when I was at my weakest
And found the God, the lifter of my head
    And I’ve worshiped You
And felt You right beside me
You’re the reason that I sing
‘Cause You’re the God of all my days
    Each step I take
    You make a way
And I will give You all my praise
My seasons change, You stay the same
You’re the God of all my days
In my worry, God You are my stillness
In my searching, God You are my answers
In my blindness, God You are my vision
In my bondage, God You are my freedom
In my weakness, God You are my power
You’re the reason that I sing
‘Cause You’re the God of all my days
    Each step I take
    You make a way
And I will give You all my praise
My seasons change, You stay the same
You’re the God of all my days
In my blindness, God You are my vision
And in my bondage, God You are my freedom
    All my days

  4. 3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

We’ve all had times in our lives whenever we feel like nothing is going right for us and then a miracle comes along and reminds us that whatever we may go through in life God is leading and guiding our footsteps to the calling and destiny he has appointed for us; and with that we should never be afraid to walk through life because the word tells us that we have a friend who walks with us and will carry us whenever we get weary no matter the struggle or battle.

  5. Proverbs 16:1,9
[1]We can make our own plans,
but the lord gives the right answer.
    [9]We can make our plans,
but the lord determines our steps.
Whenever we make plans about anything. We should take it to the Lord in prayer

  6. Verses 23-24 MSG “Love God, all you saints; God takes care of all who stay close to him, But he pays back in full those arrogant enough to go it alone. Be brave. Be strong. Don’t give up. Expect God to get here soon.” Stay close to Jesus and remain in Him.

John 15:7-11 AMP “If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples. I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy may be made full and complete and overflowing.” Wow….”Eat This Book”.

  7. Ps. 31: 4:5 [ amp] Draw me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me. For you are My Stength, and my Stronghold.
[5] Into Your hands I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth and faitfulfulness.
Acts 7:59] [amp] And while they were stoning Stephen , he prayed, Lord Jesus, receive and accept and welcome my spirit!
I have been redeemed ! Wow how powerful !

  8. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

I hope that while here on this earth, I can say that with all sincerity let me never be ashamed of my walk with God. I hope that I never let this world dictate how I serve the Lord and his kingdom. I want to be like Paul and be bold to state I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation.

I hope that I continually have the praise of God in my mouth. Let be live as the example that God has called me to be. That I may reach out at every opportunity to help others find God and hopefully be saved eternally within the kingdom of God. Let me
Live Jesus to give Jesus even when I don’t feel like it. It is not time to sleep or slumber. It’s time for the church to continue to push forward.

  9. 23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

God takes care of his people. Our trust and faith should be in him.

All I got to say is …
O LOVE The LORD, All YE His Saints…!!
O Taste And See That The LORD Is Good:… “EAT THIS BOOK”
There are lots of good things in the BIBLE (His Word) that will keep us Spiritually Strong and Healthy! They will cause us to be Overcomers through our Faith, More than Conquerors through Him that loves us, and Victorious!

Thank You JESUS for your Word. I will EAT IT Everyday!!

  11. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.

3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LordGod of truth.

Psalms are songs but what a beautiful prayer!!!! There is something about calling out to God no matter the situation nor the circumstances once you cry out to God with a sincere heart, He will come down and be all over your situation. He has a way of turning things around and making it very obvious that it was Him who did it. To be able to count on God in ALL. For Him to be Your ALL IN ALL. Oh what a sweet Blessing!!! I Love You Jesus!!!!

  12. 13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
14 But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.

But I trust. 3 powerful words that change from fear to faith. David acknowledges that there are many people after his life and people that want him to die. He goes to his God and tells him about the people and slandering voices he hears and knows of the plot to kill him. Can you imagine how scared for his life he was? I’ve been worried about what people were going to say or do to me on multiple occasions but I knew they weren’t going to kill me. They were upset with me for a variety of reasons but I knew my life was not at stake. I can only imagine how fearful David was knowing that people wanted to take his life after he’d been anointed king but David utters the phrase “but I trust” the game changing words that go from fear the faith. If the church can only learn to transfer the fear of this world to the faith in Christ we would really know how safe we are

  13. God’s Goodness
Oh how great is that goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me me his marvelous kindness in a strong city.
    Psalm 31:19-21

Romans 11:22 Behold there for the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity ; but toward thee goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

Psalm 17:7 Shew thy marvellous loving kindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

God is marvelous!!! We put our trust in Jesus!!! He is good and all the time He is good!!

  14. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

Call on the Lord to guide you. Trust in Him always. Let His will be done in your life.

  15. Psalms 31:15
My times are in your hands……

Oh David thank you for sharing the depth of your soul. From fear to triumphant faith ,disappointment to jubilee. The ups and the downs. You were anointed to be a king you were chosen by God yet dealt with every emotion imaginable. How beautiful the words . ….“my times are in your hands..”. God does know . God does care . He holds every second of our life right in His Hands.

    Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

    He holds it all !
In You Oh Lord I Put My Trust !

  16. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Psa 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Reading the Bible in Chronological order opens up a lot of things. Let’s not forget when this Psalm was written in David’s life before we judge how “depressed” it might sound. This was during the time that he was running for his life. Not only that, but if you remember previous chapters of Samuel, you will remember several people “snitching” on his whereabouts. David felt like a complete fugitive on the run and he was leader over 600 plus men at the time. How easy is it to hide 600 folks along with yourself.

After all that, David still pens this beautiful scripture, Psa 31:24 “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”

    WOW

  17. I hate those who worship worthless idols. I trust in the Lord .
    Psalms 31:6 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.31.6.NLT

There are so many things that we can find to distract us in this time of isolation. But I’ve noticed that when the distractions increase so does the God call us for us to come closer and deeper into His Presence.

  18. O love the Lord , all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord .
    Psalms 31:23‭-‬24 KJV

  19. David was calling on the Lord to deliver him in verses 1 -5. In verse 6 he transitioned to idol worship because he wanted to show the contraction of the two. Verse 5…Into thine hand I commit my spirit…

Commit = appoint, look after, care for, entrust, deposit

In Luke 23:46 Jesus cried out….into thy hands I commend my spirit…those were the last words he spoke.

Commend = to place beside or near or set before. To deposit, to intrust, commit to one’s charge

Deposit = can be used as a noun or a verb. A verb indicates action.
Noun – put it down. A sum of money placed or kept in a bank account, usually to gain interest.
Verb – put or set down in a specific place. Store or entrust with someone for safe keeping.

For David to be delivered knew he must give up his will and entrust it to God. When we put our will and our idols in front of God he cannot guide or direct us because our deposit is invalid.

  20. 23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lordpreserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

First I want to thank Pastor for the word Eat this Book! The word of God is so vital to us now and in coming days. Vs 24 lifts us up and reminds us to be of good courage. Some folks may not be in a bind during this pandemic while others might be, and the word of God helps us each one with whatever we are dealing with. As we read about David we see the life of the anointed king wasn’t fair! He ran, he hid, he was tempted to kill Saul and on & on, and each time he cries out to God. What an example for us today.

  21. God’s word is so good. It spells out our emotions and feelings so well. I have comfort in God so much. He knows exactly what each one of us needs.

  22. 5 I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, LORD, for you are a faithful God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind and in spirit. God is faithful, so you should be faithful. God will protect and guide you. Always be on the alert of the enemy, God will keep from being trapped by the enemy. He is your rock and fortress.

  23. 15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

Thank you Lord for loving and protecting me, even knowing all of my faults and failures, I am never far from your mercy!

  24. 7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities.

As long as we live for Jesus and have a relationship with him. He will protect us he will guide us whatever it may be. We must keep our eyes on him and not fear for he is in control.

  25. In this chapter I learned that David wrote it. David was trying to get Jesus on his side. He wrote this talking about his journey of life, and how great and mighty he was. I also got out of this chapter is when the world turns on you go to God. When you need comfort, God will help you. God is always there got us no matter what. He will never leave our side. We have to be strong enough to stick on to Jesus forever!!!

  26. Go to Jesus when there is a problem he will help you
If you believe that’s will help you and if you don’t believe him he will not help you

  27. I learned That This Man Nobody like He Went to Jesus that’s a the only person like him. Then I learned that if
No one likes you Just go to Jesus.

  28. 31:24. Beautiful chapter. But verse 24 got my attention, also because this one word:: Let your heart take courage
    Be of good courage…
God had already reminded us on chapter 27 the same thing.
    To be of good courage….
31:24 be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
    ———
So that is it!!! Let us be of good courage!!!! No matter what.
No matter what we see, or hear, or experience, no matter what, let us run to the Lord. For in Him we have everything
David encouraged Himself in the Lord, and I am too.
    Blessed be His name.

  29. 21 Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

“The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.”
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  30. ‘I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.’
    Psalms 31:7

When you’re getting to know someone, you tend to keep the embracing things and bad habits to yourself. Trying to put your best foot forward.

But with Jesus, He literally already knows it all. You can’t front Him or deceive Him.
He knows what you do that others would think is absolutely disgusting, and He Still Loves YOU. He hear’s the ugly thinking that you would never utter to anyone, and He Still Loves YOU. He even see’s what you do when you think no one is watching, and and He Still Loves YOU.

He Loves each of us with an unfailing love. I couldn’t help but think of the song Reckless Love…It’s overwhelming, never-ending, reckless Love of God.

“Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God”

  31. Exhortation of the afficted
David appeals to God who is and been his refuge. He feels his danger intensely but continues to trust in God. Having goodness. David exhorts all his saints to love and trust God

  32. “But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Lord you are my hiding place. My place of refuge in times of trouble. I put my confidence in you my God!

“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  33. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    BLAME WHO?

9 Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

In times of trouble it is common, convenient and arrogant to BLAME someone else. We learn from David here how to accept responsibility for our actions and speak to the heart of GOD. Considering the time frame of this Psalm, we concur that David is still dealing with the conviction on his heart for trimming the garment of King Saul.

David first identifies his current condition. Not many people struggle with this part. If you don’t believe me just ask someone how they are doing. Most people go straight to everything that is wrong in their life. The challenge comes in when it comes time to take responsibility for the current state of affairs. If there is trouble then it must be someones fault but BLAME WHO?

The devil is the usual culprit or in times such as we are in now, GOD is the BLAME for all this mess. But look at the approach of the repented heart of David. He is in trouble, with WHO? With GOD because he disrespected Saul in the cave, David has wept, he has run for his life, he has become weary and weak, but WHY?

In verse 10 David announces the BLAME WHO. “because of mine iniquity”. David accepts responsibility for his current state of trouble, weariness and weakness. Yes I know that David has been the hunted for a season now. But David identified an iniquity in his heart that could not be revealed unto he was placed in the situation.

Instead of launching a chess match of BLAME WHO for WHAT, David accepts responsibility for the entire patch of trouble. We learn here the value of transparency and the grace of GOD in humility and repentance.

BUT, Thank GOD it doesn’t end there.

23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

LOVE the LORD = Keep HIS commandments
Be FAITHFUL = Preservation and protection
    Be COURAGEOUS = Strength
    HOPE = Future Blessings

Don’t be fearful, accept responsibility for your actions, attitude and aspirations. Love the Lord, be faithful, courageous and hopeful and the Blessings of the LORD will be upon you.

  34. David is showing his human side in this chapter. He is recounting this woes of being a hunted man, feeling alone, wondering why vengeance hasn’t come to Saul, and yet he starts the chapter and ends the chapter with praise to the Lord regardless.

It is okay to tell God how we are really feeling. That is part of relationship, but then we must clear those thoughts. How many times have I gone through something and I think to myself why me? So so is sinning against you God and it appears that they are doing just fine, and I’m going through this?????
Then I have to get my mind back on the “God track” and recognize that this was sent to me for a reason – learn my lesson, be thankful for the storm, and get through it. God knows what He’s doing, He sees things that I don’t see, and obviously knows how to get us to what we need to be and unfortunately sometimes that calls for hard times in our lives. But we can be rest assured that He will preserve us if we remain faithful through it all.

23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

  35. faith is one of our strongest parts of our being, so if we strengthen our faith, God will strengthen our hearts and our mind.

  36. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.

3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

  37. David stated that he we in distress but didn’t blame God for his situation. When a trial comes along I know that the devil can’t wait for us to blame God.
This minute I am going through a trial and waiting to see if I have to go to the hospital. It’s not God’s fault. I keep thinking of a song that says “when you walk through a storm hold your head up high and don’t be afraid of the dark, at the end of a storm is a golden sky as a sweet mellow song of a lark etc… Knowing that God is on our side is what we all need to know.

  38. O Lord , I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, fyou do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me; rescue me quickly. Be my rock of protection, a fortress where I will be safe. You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. Pull me from the trap my enemies set for me, for I find protection in you alone. I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, Lord , for you are a faithful God. I hate those who worship worthless idols. I trust in the Lord . My enemies conspire against me, plotting to take my life. But I am trusting you, O Lord , saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me. Don’t let me be disgraced, O Lord , for I call out to you for help. Let the wicked be disgraced; let them lie silent in the grave. Silence their lying lips— those proud and arrogant lips that accuse the godly. How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues. Praise the Lord , for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack. In panic I cried out, “I am cut off from the Lord !” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help. Love the Lord , all you godly ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to him, but he harshly punishes the arrogant. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the

  39. But I trusted in thee, O Lord : I said, Thou art my God. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord .
    Psalms 31:14‭, ‬24 KJV
The Lord goes before me I know if I put my trust in the Lord and believe that he will do it that all things are working for the my good
I also believe there no strengthen like God strength so many times we find ourselves trying to do things without God we want our way but i’ve learn over these pass months that if you get God in your corner and let him take control JESUS is the bestest friend and he will always have your back but you have to let him in

  40. “I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, Lord, for you are a faithful God. I hate those who worship worthless idols. I trust in the Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:5-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

David’s surrender and submission to God didn’t produce misery – he was happy and joyful. Much of this was because his heart overflowed with gratitude, thankful for all God had done for him.

  41. In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

Looking and listening to people that are afraid of what’s going on right now.(Covid-19) Afraid of everything. But knowing who MY GOD is, puts my soul at ease. Being afraid of what is going on right now, Rather being afraid of life without Jesus . That would make me very afraid . We need to spread the Word to each and everyone we come in contact with. God is Not Dead!! Miracle Worker!!Promise Keeper!! Light in the darkness!!! Alpha and Omega!!! The One True Healer!!!

  42. “I hate those who pay regard to vain (empty, worthless) idols; But I trust in the LORD [and rely on Him with unwavering confidence].

But as for me, I trust [confidently] in You and Your greatness, O LORD; I said, “You are my God.””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:6, 14‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Despite all that David had gone through – from King Saul trying to take his life to being shunned by those he knew – he was still confident in putting his trust in the Lord. David said You are my God. I pray we say that with confidence wherever we go, whatever we may face. You are my God PERIOD!

My money may be a little funny right now but hey, You are my God PERIOD. My health might not be the greatest but STILL You are my God PERIOD. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring but YOU ARE MY GOD PERIOD

  43. “In my alarm I said, “I am cut off from your sight!” Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We’ve all felt like at some point in our life we were too far for God to hear our cry. But it doesn’t matter how hard you fall, or far you fall, when we call out to God he will by there to pick us up so we can keep on pursuing him.

  44. 23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

When I was in High School we made jam. From what I can remember jam goes into the jar hot 🔥 or because if not it will mold. Throughout the word of God we see scripture about God preserving us. If we take the concept of jam and apply it here we see that he preserves those that are on fire for Him. He’s not looking to preserve cold faithfulness or worn out saints.

We used glass because glass can stand against the heat and is easy to sterilize to be use again. Plastic will not stand against the heat and it can absorb products into itself making it unsteril. God is Strategic when it some to preserving the faithful. He insures that the element that is uphoolding us will not infect us with any outward product or . Inward substance. These elements will not effect us in any way. Let us be preserved by Him but it comes at the price if being faithful to Him.

  45. 23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

  46. “But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me. Don’t let me be disgraced, O Lord, for I call out to you for help. Let the wicked be disgraced; let them lie silent in the grave. Silence their lying lips— those proud and arrogant lips that accuse the godly.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:14-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In our trouble times we have to trust that God is in control.
If we believe that all our troubles are in God’s hand, we shall be expecting great things from our heavenly Father. When we get into a difficulty we shall say, I am now going to see the wonders of God, and to learn again how surely he delivers them that trust in him.

  47. Praise the Lord , for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack. In panic I cried out, “I am cut off from the Lord !” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help.
    Psalms 31:21‭-‬22 NLT

In times when our faith is weak and the trials of this world get the best of us. We feel alone and the anxiety is overwhelming, all we have to do is call on His Name. He will answer in due time because His Love is everlasting.

  48. Praise the lord, my eyes are beginning to see and understand the Bible more and more as I begin to spend more time reading it. At first it was difficult to learn and understand, like learning a new language, however I could not walk as a child at first, but the more I practiced the better I got. I am thankful for his grace and patience for it is through his mercy, that I am able to walk stronger with him and in him every day. Thank you lord for all that I am and all that you will have me become. I am your humble servant and I shall preach and sing your praises. Hallelujah!

  49. BUT I TRUST IN THE LORD, with a happy heart.

    Psalm 31:3 KJV
[3] For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

[24] Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord .

    Luke 10:19 KJV
[19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

    Acts 1:8 KJV
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

  50. “O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. (Psalms 31:1 NLT)

The Lord is always an on time God. He’s a trustworthy God to depend on. He’s the lifter of our heads and the voice of encouragement that brings peace to the noise.

  51. 22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

God loves us so much that he is willing to forgive us and help us when us call his name! We should repent and become pure like Him but if we don’t love Him and become wicked he will humble us. If we walk with God courageous and faithful heart he will make us stronger and closer with Him.

  52. “But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:14-15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

These Scriptures means that, we as The People of God should have confidence like David did and trust The Lord our God in our futures. And God will make a table in front of our enemies and we must decrease so He can increase

  53. 3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

In God we have a firm foundation with Him we can face this world with no fear. For God is our rock and fortress. Nor rain or storm can shaken us. He covers us with His wings. What a mighty God we serve! I pray that our foundation is Jesus and that we let go of anything that hinders us from God being our rock. So we can face this world in triumph in the middle of the storm!

  54. 5. Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

    Luke 23:46
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

There comes a time when you just have to say, “Lord, I give it all to you; everything – it’s all in Your hands now.” He’s standing by, waiting on you to realize that He can work it out if you will just let Him.

    Isaiah 43:13 KJVS
Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

  55. 3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

The Lord our rock we are safe and steady with him. There is no reason for us to be afraid because the Lord is always protecting us from our enemies and of evil, he helps us fight every single one of our battles, the Lord is our home and protection. We need to thank the Lord everyday worship and praise him more than ever and put all our trust in him.

  56. 1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

Trusting God when everything is going great is one thing, but when everything isn’t going just right, that’s when we need to trust Him, trust His process, He knows what He’s doing!

  57. 15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.

My times are in thy hand… to have that confidence in God is to live without fear of man. Knowing that the Lord had your life in his hands and it is his call to make when it’s your time to go. As long as you live under his commands then you can trust in this that he will protect you and taken care of you.

  58. “How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. You hide them in the shelter of your presence, safe from those who conspire against them. You shelter them in your presence, far from accusing tongues.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let me eat this word of encouragement O lord, for you are the palm tree in my heart that will forever stay firm and strong, you sheltered me in times of troubling you cover my ears when the wicked speaks nothing but lies. You put all you people above all high were no evil can strike, you comfort me from all harm and I rejoice for there is no like you O God let consume this word in Jesus name.

  59. 3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

God is my strength and my rock. When the enemy tries to come against me, God is my protector. As long as the Lord is on my side, I have nothing to fear. It is he who gives me the strength I need to press onward.

  60. 23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

The God we serve and trust in, will, by that trust, will protect you from evil. Put your trust in Him and He will guide you in dangerous times. He will also, supply of all your wants. They that hope in the Lord have reason to be of good courage, and to be strengthened in Him.

  61. 14 But I trust in you, Lord ; I say, “You are my God.”

15 My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.

    Psalms 31:14‭-‬15 NIV

  62. In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the Lord.

    7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

  63. 22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

This reminds me of children at times. They get in a rough spot and go cry about how no one loves them or everyone is against them. They are so distraught in their pitiful sobbing but we the parents are right outside the door just waiting for the right time to walk back in and tell them it’s going to be alright. It may have to come behind a shut up or string rebuke but we will let know and understand our love for them. This is the love of the Father. Sometimes he just has to wait on us to shut up so he can remind us of his love. He’s a good good father.

  64. 3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LordGod of truth.

Hes gonna pull you out so dont you worry about a thing. i love the trials we face because i know im being sharpened and tuned up for something greater to come and even help someone else get through something that might be struggling with something similar. God will use you if you let him,

  65. 14 But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.
15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.

By putting all of our trust in God we are not only letting Him know our trust, and the world know our trust, but we are also letting ourselves know that we trust in Him. Everything is in and controlled by His hand. By trusting Him and asking for His protection, we put our minds at ease with the greatest power. We just hope for a smile from Him on ourselves.

23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

    Be of good courage

  66. 23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

There is wonderful reward when we live for Him! He has been so gracious and faithful to us all and kept us through the hardest of times. If we are faithful in return, there’s no doubt in my mind, like this scripture says, He will preserve us and strengthen us!

  67. “For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭31:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God is his rock. He is a foundation on which everything else is built. He is strength. He is great and mighty. He is stability.

  68. Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.
    Psalm 31:23-24

David begins this Psalm with a plea from God, and ends with praise to God. David cried out to the Lord again and again for help, and then praises Him, many times even before the answer comes. Did God truly hear his prayers? Did God come to his aid? Of course He did, again and again we read David’s Psalms of praise in God who never forsook him. Let us too remember to do as David did…..”Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
