Psalm 34

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

  1. Verses 13-17 AMP “Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit. Turn away from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous [those with moral courage and spiritual integrity] And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the memory of them from the earth. When the righteous cry [for help], the Lord hears And rescues them from all their distress and troubles.” Through every situation or trial we may be facing, we must refrain from evil and stay away from anything trying to steer us in the wrong direction. Taste (Eat This Book) and see the happiness of those who trust in God, as this chapter is captioned in different versions.

  2. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Psa 34:1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

This Psalms is very famous indeed however, many don’t realize it was written from the experience we read about just a few weeks ago. Some Bibles have the subtitle and some don’t, but I have included it today in this blog. This is when David acted crazy and spittle was on his beard. LOL, David put on a crazy show then penned this Psalm. WOW, gives us reason to believe acting crazy is worshipping the Lord.

  3. Ps. 8-9 [ amp] O taste and see that the Lord [ Our God] is good! Blessed ( happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.
1 Peter 2: 3] Like newborn babies you crave ( thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure ( unadulterated) spiritual milk that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [ completed] salvation.
[3] Since you have[ already] tasted the goodness and kindness of the Lord.
Ps.9] O fear the Lord, you His saints[ revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear.
Stay close to God,I will worship him at all times.
Eat your Book ! I love my church and miss all of yall.

  4. 19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

God never promised that living for Him would be affliction-free, but He said He would never leave nor forsake us.

He never promised that the cross
    Would not get heavy
And the hill would not be
    Hard to climb
    He never offered
    Our victories without fighting
    But He said help
    Would always come in time
    Just remember when you’re standing
    In the valley of decision
And the adversary says give in
Just hold on, our Lord will show up
    And He will take you
    Through the fire again

  5. 1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

If we don’t get anything done in our day…we must not forget to lift up the name of Jesus. We have no more important purpose than to gather and worship his name..there is no greater name than the name of Jesus.

  6. Psalms 34:7
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

In You oh Lord I put my trust. My Shield My Strength My Peace . Thank you for the angels that are all around us…

  7. 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

This reminds me that awesome word that pastor preached “Eat this word” We have to dive into the word and eat it every day to be fed spiritually. I find the human body can go days without food, but the spirit can not go one single minute with the word, anointing, and power of God. We have to place our priority in the kingdom of God. God has to be first above everything else. I find when our spirit is in alignment, then everything physically will be in alignment. Every morning that we are blessed to have we have to start with praising God. Then let everything else fall into place.

    #Havetolovejesus.

  8. 3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Now is the time for the body of Christ to unite. To continually praise His name and reach the lost.

  9. Psalms 34:8, “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

“O Taste And See That The LORD Is Good”
David had put his Trust in the Lord. He had experienced (tasted and seen) for himself that the LORD Is Good. The Lord had delivered him from all his fears and had saved him out of all his troubles.

Yes, I can share many testimonies of God’s Goodness in my own life because I have experienced (tasted and seen) it for myself…. Yes, you can share many testimonies of God’s Goodness in your life because you have experienced (tasted and seen) it for yourself… Yes, we should share our Testimonies…………..
    BUT
Until a person experiences (tastes and sees) for themselves the Goodness of God in their own lives, they will never know how it feels.

So, today, may you put your Trust in God, experience for yourself the Goodness of God in your life, and “Taste And See That The LORD Is Good.”

  10. 9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

All we could ever want and need can be found in Jesus – the only desire I still have is for more of Him! I pray our lives as we live them outside the church walls are glorifying Him, are praising Him, are pleasing Him. When we do all that we can to serve Him, joy will abundantly flow and we will see that He is sufficient to supply all our needs!

  11. 34:1 I will bless the Lord, at all times, and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.🙌👍👍🙌
    —-
I will bless the Lord, when?
    AT ALL TIMES!!!!
we praise and Worship God for who He is. For He is WORTHY!!!
And our praise is based on that , and then for anything else.
It’s easy to praise the Lord when you can see his hand on action, but what about when you’re goi g through something, and all the sudden your praise is gone?
Should and can not be like that.
This is one of my favorites yay!!!
I WILL BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIME, AND HIS PRAISE SHALL
    CONTINUALLY IN MY MOUTH, amen.
    ———
I will bless the Lord at all times🙌🙌
I will bless the Lord at times
    He is good!!
    So goooood
    Real gooood.
Each and everyday of my life.
I’ll bless the Lord, for He is good!!!

  12. 20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

This verse reminds me of one of the sermons David Smith preach last week these bones shall live

  13. 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Hallelujah!!! Our God is so good!! The instructions are clear keep your tongue from speaking evil and speak only truth and peace. Live righteously and no matter what He will ALWAYS hear your cry. Trust in the Lord with ALL YOUR HEART!!! He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you!!! What great word of encouragement God has given us today BE OF GOOD CHEER THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ON YOUR SIDE!!!!!

  14. 15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

    Isaiah 61:1
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,
because the LORD has anointed me
    to bring good news to the poor;
he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound”

Until you have had a broken heart you could never understand the value of being completely whole. I can’t imagine anyone who has never known a broken heart. The world we live in is full of brokenness and we hold the recipe for heart mending. Jesus is the only one who will never leave you with that hurt and disappoint that comes with “conditional”. It’s way past time for us to be that neon sign leading to mender of all things broken.

  15. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

No matter what we go through God promises not to let it break us completely. I’m thankful for a Good that knows how much we can handle to stretch us, help us grow, and remind us how He is with us every step of the way.

  16. As I walk through the valley of the Shadow I shall fear no evil for thou art with me

Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the Lord . Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

  17. 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“In the same way, the tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!

If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart, don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying.”
    ‭‭James‬ ‭3:5-10, 13-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  18. 9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Misplaced Fear – We are instructed in the word of God to have Godly fear, reverence for the Lord.

Matthew 10:28 – And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Too many have “fear” about temporal things, houses, jobs, possessions, but are not caring for their soul in the manner that God would want us too.

Our chapter today tells us to fear the Lord, for there is no want to them that fear him. If we will have the correct type of fear and place in it in the Lord instead of this world and it’s economy, we will have no want.

Psalms 23 reminds us – The Lord is my Shephard, I SHALL NOT WANT!!

  19. Psalm 34:3 KJV
[3] O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

    Psalm 34:10 KJV
[10] The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing .
    Psalm 34:18 KJV
[18] The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

  20. 3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

David was a man full of fear but he sought the Lord and God deliverer him from his fear. So let’s seek God everyday and he will deliver us from fear.

  21. I love my God and I love my church. I will not have fear, fear is faith in the enemy, i definitely have no faith in the enemy!!

  22. I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord ; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord ’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. I prayed to the Lord , and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.

3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

Life is filled with opportunity and adversity. Our response to each occasion is how our lifestyle and reputation are developed. Many years ago, I read this chapter and deemed this passage as my LIFE ATTITUDE and Mission Statement. For over 25 years now I have been Blessed to proclaim this verse in the face of challenge and adversity.

The motivation of this passage is the major reason that I value passionate praise and am not much moved by the slower, methodic songs that are popular today.

When we Bless the LORD at ALL times then HIS Praise shall continually be in our mouth. IT is impossible to complain about my situation while I am Praising GOD for who HE is.

The second part is to encourage others to join with us in the PRAISE party. When we gather to exalt HIS Name JESUS together we are fulfilling together the LIFE ATTITUDE of Gratitude.

  24. believing in a certain faith no one else believes in is far harder than anything else, so we must be careful with our decisions.

  25. “O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:9, 19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Here we see the promise of provision given to all of us. When we fear the Lord, meaning we are in reverence of Him, He will deliver us out of any situation to where we would want for nothing. David even explains to us how we can fear the Lord – by staying away from doing or being evil and refrain from being deceitful. I thank God for His many promises. I pray we continue to embody His righteousness so that we may live and give Jesus.

  26. ‘Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies!’
    Psalms 34:12-13

Your life can be determined by what comes out of your mouth. If you want to have joy and peace. SPEAK Joy and Peace. Yet, at the same time, if you continue to speak drama or discomfort thats what your life will be.

    Proverbs 18:21
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

  27. 1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

It’s hard to pick a verse in this chapter because they are all great. Before David said the Lord delivered him from all his fears, he said magnify, worship the Lord first! It’s hard to fear when you are praising God, telling him how great and awesome he is! Like was said before, if we fear anything, let it be a healthy fear (respect) of the mighty God we serve!

  28. “I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
David won his freedom by a radical display of humility. Lord let me always be humble.

  29. I Love To Worship The Lord
    vs(2-3)
I will boast of all his kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. Let us praise the Lord together and exalt his name.

The part of of vs-2 Let all who are discouraged take heart really Lifted me up

  30. 4 I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.

Have no fear during this pandemic. Continue to live life as normal, but a bit more caution. The Lord will keep sick free, which is a blessing. He will meet your needs too financially during this time. Ask God and he will answer.

  31. Psalm 34

  32. 1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth

  33. Psalms 34
    15. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

    17. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

    18. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

    19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

    22. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

    Hallelujah!!

    Praise the Lord God!

  34. 18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

I believe that God is drawn to the brokenhearted because they have learned the difference between what is real and what is fake. It is sometimes amazing just how a broken heart can push aside the unimportant and concentrate on the most critical and important. Honestly when we allow God to break our hearts He is then able to show us what’s really important in our life. In the midst of all the brokenness He is developing us. You see God is so very close at hand to us the brokenhearted because we have discovered what’s really important in life. He will then use us because we have become better sharpened instruments of healing in His hands.

  35. Praises to the Lord all day long!!!

Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Reminds me of what Pastor just preached….Eat this BOOK! Only way to taste is eat so Eat The BOOK! and you will definitely see that the Lord is good!

Hebrews 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come

I Peter 2:2,3 As newborn Babes, desire to sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

  36. Psalms 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Praise be to our Lord as He never forsakes us. We should praise him in times of trouble and praise him in times of glory! Thank you Jesus!

  37. “The LORD is near to the heartbroken And He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin). Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, But the LORD rescues him from them all.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:18-19‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Thankful that God is near the broken-hearted and those crushed in spirit. Even if it’s our own decisions that have cause our heartache. We maybe facing hard circumstance but we must count it all joy and know that God will rescue us.

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which is taking place to test you [that is, to test the quality of your faith], as though something strange or unusual were happening to you. But insofar as you are sharing Christ’s sufferings, keep on rejoicing, so that when His glory [filled with His radiance and splendor] is revealed, you may rejoice with great joy.”
    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:12-13‬ ‭AMP‬‬

  38. 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

    Psalms 34:18 NIV
    ://psalm.bible/psalm-34-18

Trust in the Lord that he can deliver you from anything, trust what he is doing for you and your family. At times we loose faith and want to give up and ask why these or that happens to you but, just trust in Him that He will deliver you and guide you!

  39. “I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Praise shall continually be in my mouth….
Not in my heart merely, but in my mouth too. Our thankfulness is not to be a silent it needs to be heard.

  40. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

The Lord is always protecting us. We go through many troubles thinking we’re alone, but the truth is is that the Lord is always right there next to you during those times. God is helping you push through those troubles and helping you defeat your enemies. Put all your trust in faith in the Lord give your all to him, for the Lord will never let you down. The Lord can do many wonders in your beautiful life.

  41. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

If we eat the book like we really should everyday we would realize that we have nothing to worry about in life because he has it under control. If anybody should know that by now it should be me. Thank you Jesus for love and mercy.

  42. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.
    Psalms 34:6‭-‬7 NLT

It is when we find ourselves desperate, that we forget everything that is in our power to do. We have no strength, no more resources, no options. The only thing we can do is cry out to Him. This is when God manifest His Glory, when we are empty and have nothing in the tank. GOD shows His power and mercy and answers our cry. He delivers us and protects us reminding us that with out Him we are nothing.

  43. “14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.”

I find this verse to be so beautiful, so strong and powerful. It really speaks to the idea of repentance to me, and what the Lord really wants from us. Simple, elegant, direct, and how we should approach our lives. The more I read, the more I understand and the more I see how wrong I was to live such a selfish life, and how much more I’m thankful that he is such a merciful God. I’ve always been a late bloomer, but I’m thankful he didn’t give up on me. Thank you Jesus, I can’t begin to thank you enough. Hallelujah.

  44. 17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

The righteous cry and God delivers them out of their troubles. We can all do that when we cry out to God he will deliver US

  45. God eye are open to the righteous and his ears are open to them too

That means when you do good god will listen but when you do bad god won’t that’s why when some people say they can’t hear god there probably not doing good in there homes and there personal lives

  46. 4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Fear is a cripple conditions that effects many. It’s one thing to feel fear and another to live in it. We all at some point face felt it but it’s important to know where to turn and that is to Jesus. We should seek him in our darkest moments that he will deliver us and or keep us.

  47. In this chapter it talked about how great God is. He is great and almighty and worthy to be praised. He had saved us and will forgive us of our sin. No matter what you have been though or done God will grind you out of!!!

  48. 22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

This reminds me of the prodigal son when he was in the pig pen and started thinking about how good the servants have it in the Fathers house. You don’t know how good you got it until you don’t got it any more. Jesus loves his servants and his servants are called sons and daughters, taking inheritance in his kingdom.

  49. The lord is good. When times are hard. The lord is good when times are great the lord is good.
No matter what is happening trust in God cause he is good

  50. 7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

The Lord protects his people. It must be something amazing to see your prayer answer and right in front of you. Whatever it may be. It just seems like David was experiencing the goodness of the Lord and is encouraging all taste and see. There is nothing to want for those that fear the Lord for the Lord himself will provide, protect and do for his children.

  51. 12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

It’s important for us to speak with caution. There’s life and death in the tongue. Your words are some of the most deadly weapons you could use because they can cut like a knife. They can end friendships, relationships, and families. Let’s choose our words carefully in this time.

  52.  I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

We must seek the Lord and cry out to Him, and make our requests of him in our troubles. He is always there to listen and to help us, only it we seek Him. We must seek the Lord all the time, even if we are not in trouble. Seek Him!

  53. I love reading through the Psalms and as I’m reading hearing all of the amazing songs that came from these passages. I can’t help but sing along to them;

1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Kurt Carr: I will bless the lord at all times
And His praises shall be in my, be in my mouth
Sorrow, sickness or in sad times
Yes His praises shall be in my mouth
When I’m happy or in sorrow
    I don’t worry about tomorrow
You see one thing I know
    My God is in control
And if I praise Him he’ll take care of me
So when the devil tries to fight me
And he tries his best to entice me
I start to praise my God with all my might
I know my praise is gonna bring me out alright
You know the devil tries to stop me
Stop me from giving God the glory
He tries to send my way distractions every day
Just to discourage me from giving God the praise
But in the midst of my trouble
And in the middle of my struggle
    I stir up my praise
And though it might seem strange
I know my praise is gonna bring about a change
    In spite of my feelings
    In spite of my circumstances
    My feelings they don’t matter
    I’ve gotta be like David
    And bless the Lord
    In spite of my feelings
    In spite of my circumstances
    My feelings they don’t matter
    I’ve gotta be like David
    I will
    At all times
    I’ve gotta like David. . .

3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

    I will bless the Lord
    I will praise His name
    I will bless the Lord
    I will praise His name

For the rest of my life
    I’ll forever proclaim
    He’s good
    He’s good

Oh magnify the Lord with me
    Let us exalt His name
Oh magnify the Lord with me
    Let us exalt His name

For who is like our Lord and King
    His glory and His fame
    He is exalted
    Above the heavens

  54. “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Through the events of this life, the ups and downs, the quarantines, and the parties, the isolation and the togetherness; his praise will continually be in my mouth. God is good all the time. And all the time God is good.

  55. 11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

When learn to fear God we know how to depart from evil and stay pure.
