Acts 2

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

  1. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

  2. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

  3. Verses 1-4 MSG “When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force—no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building. Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.” Lord I pray that the same fire of the Holy Spirit ignite us as we seek after the lost of this world with courage/boldness (as we heard last night) and now with diligence.

Proverbs 13:4 AMP “The soul (appetite) of the lazy person craves and gets nothing [for lethargy overcomes ambition], But the soul (appetite) of the diligent [who works willingly] is rich and abundantly supplied.” Let us LIVE-GIVE JESUS with diligence!

  4. Thank you Jesus for today , I continue , I strive for His first and Will to be done

King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave. You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’

  5. 39. For the promise of the Spirit is for you, for your children, for all people-even those considered outsiders and outcasts-the Lord our God invites everyone to come to Him. Voice

The Promise is for everyone, and while God loves and wants everyone to receive it, He won’t force it on anyone; we each have to make that step on our own.

    Softly and tenderly
    Jesus is calling
Calling for you and for me
    See on the portals
    He’s waiting and watching
Watching for you and for me
    Come home, come home
Ye who are weary come home
    Earnestly, tenderly Jesus is calling
    Calling, O sinner come home

  6. Acts 2

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

  7. So in chapter 2 of Acts 2 verse 1 it’s talking about how Jesus on the day of Pentecost how he was in one place with one accord and verse 2 its saying that there was a mighty rushing wind from heaven that filled Jesus Home and in verse 3 Jesus cloven the tongues as of fire and sat upon each of them and in verse 4 and then Jesus began to speak in tongues and was filled with the Holy Ghost and the spirit gave them utterance

  8. Acts 2:14 [ amp] But Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and addressed them, You Jews and all your residents of Jerusalem, let this be [ explained] to you so that you will know and understand listen closely to what I have to say.
Acts 2:37 [ Amp] Now when they heard this they were stung [ cut] to the heart , and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles ( special messengers) , Brethren what shall we do?
Here Peter was preaching from the heart to the men that they need to away from their wickedness and repent for their sins , and be baptized in Jesus name and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Thank you Jesus for the blood ! We must be saved.
Prov . 1: 4 [ amp] The appetite of the sluggers craves and gets nothing, But the appetite of the diligent in abundantly supplied.
Prov. 10 :4 [ amp] He becomes poor who works with a slack and idle hand, But the hand of the diligent makes rich. May the fire of our altar never go out! We need it the Holy Ghost!

  9. 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

It is not just our words that draw me in in but it is the way that we display our lives in the wonderful works of God. There will always be doubters and there will always be people who try to explain the supernatural But ultimately it will be our lives that leave them perplexed. Peter did not just walk up to these men randomly and start telling them to be baptized in the name of Jesus, he didn’t begin preaching at them but it was through the miraculous work of God that opened up the window for the message to be preached. We need to let our lives reflect that of Jesus Christ so much that it leaves people wondering and doubting to open up that window to speak Jesus into their lives.

  10. 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
Thank you Jesus for speaking to my heart, continue to work in my life with you at the center of it.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Peter only told them what the word of God instead. We should never underestimate the power of the word of God and what it can do to a man’s heart. Peter only spoke the word of God to show them that Jesus Christ really was who he was and the power just in that alone brought these men to conviction.

  12. 25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

    30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Peter reminded the people of one of their heroes, David and what he had said. This gave his words about Jesus more credence in declaring Jesus the Christ, the Son of God. I’m sure it helped in the pricking of their hearts in later verses to accept what they had done and repeat.

  13. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Thank you Jesus for the fire

  14. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

There is three things that are need to ignite a fire- oxygen, heat, and fuel. These three things are necessary to have fire, but if any one of them is missing you can not have fire. In this case all three things became present and the fire of God set upon each of them.

    Oxygen- acts 2:2
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. the wind of God came into the upper room and it became oxygen enriched by the breath of God.

    Fuel- acts 1:4-5
4And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

This was the fervent prayer that was going on while they were tarrying in the upper room. The passion of wanting to see the power of God come down and baptizing them not many days hence.

    Heat- acts 1:8
8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

As the power of God came down as promised in acts 1:8, it came down in the midst of them in acts 2:2. When the three items came together the scripture stated that the power of the Holy Ghost filled the house where they were sitting. When the three items that are required to make the fire came together if caused a chain reaction of combustion that created the fire of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:3 and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire and it sat upon each of them. We have to create the fire of God for the light to shine in the midst of the darkness of this world. We have to be burning brighter and hotter than before. We have to increase the boldness of God with in us to stoke the fire to burn hotter.

  15. 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

Tammy and I learned a lesson many years ago about people in our lives that just seem to be in the way and cause heart ache and grief. It might seem the most obvious thing to do is pray for this person to be removed from your environment. That was not the lesson we were taught. The lesson was, to pray for those people to be blessed.

Asking the Lord to bless people these special people might seem odd. Even when we hear it in church, it is extremely difficult to believe that Jesus really means what he says. But in case we have any doubts about this, consider the way this command is explained; do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

When we live like this we will receive a great reward; not only in Heaven but here on earth as well. Perhaps the greatest reward is that by loving our enemies, we are set free from bitterness and anger. Love and hate cannot coexist in the same place at the same time. For Tammy, this hindering person was removed this week.

  16. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

The Lord gave them favor as the New Testament church was being getting established. They spoke the word of God with courage and boldness and diligently spread the gospel where the Lord sends them. We must follow in the apostles footsteps and spread the knowledge of the new birth to all those who will receive it. We are living epistles and all those who watch us are receiving an example of living for God. We must be ready to teach them when asked about our faith.

  17. 2:39 for this promise is unto you, and unto your children
And to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.-
    ——
This promise hasn’t changed. This promise has no boundaries, this promise is not based on denominations
Which some pick and choose… This is a promised from mighty God. Everything else can change and might pass… but the word of God , stays the same , DOES NOT change.
all you have to do is believe God and his word. And obey it.

  18. I call this verse the Great Blessing!!! I haven’t met anyone yet that doesn’t remember when they first got the Holy Ghost and they all tell their stories with a twinkle of excitement. Peter is talking about Joel 2; but I like to start all the way back to Joel 2:25 because that’s when the blessing begins!!!
Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

Oh what a Mighty God we serve. I love these verses because God reminds us who we are and to whom do we belong to and then He tells us not to worry, don’t be ashamed, lift your head up, for you are a child of God!!! I’m not saying you need to be prideful but there is no reason to walk around the world looking at the floor to be humble. Humility comes from the heart, I am Proud that my God is Jesus Christ and I am proud of EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE FOR ME!!!! And believes me when I tell you that there is not one day that goes by without me boasting about my God and what He is doing!! Thank you Jesus for Your Blood, Thank You Jesus for Your Holy Ghost, and Thank You Jesus for being My God FOR YOUR PEOPLE WILL NEVER BE ASHAMED!!!

  19. Acts 2
46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.(BK) They broke bread(BL) in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.(BM) And the Lord added to their number(BN) daily those who were being saved.

    Everyday breaking Bread
It was the norm to be with someone everyday eating with them . Sharing the word must become an everyday part of our life. Look for someone reach out to someone don’t be afraid. Some will reject you but many will receive . Practice daily breaking bread .

As Unto God no other reason
Colossians 3:23 New International Version (NIV)23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,

  20. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Act 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart

These brand new believers understood the importance of corporate worship and corporate fellowship. They went to the temple daily and broke bread together daily. They understood the importance of the family of God being together in worship. They understood unity and oneness and pure doctrine.

  21. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

  22. Acts is such a wonderful book. I love the part that we have heard many many times about fire set on each one of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. It still gives me goosebumps! What a great day it will be when we can all worship together again at POFW. We are truly blessed. In these times we can still find the good and positive in our lives.

  23. Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

People should try to understand and believe true doctrine, while rejecting all that disagrees with the Word of God.
I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world .

    Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

  24. “Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart [with remorse and anxiety], and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what are we to do?”

And Peter solemnly testified and continued to admonish and urge them with many more words, saying, “ Be saved from this crooked and unjust generation!””
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:37, 40‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Let the light of god shine through you so that others when they see you may ask what they need to do to be saved.

  25. Today we see promise of the holy ghost fullfiled now anyone can get it if they want it

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

  26. On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. At that time there were devout Jews from every nation living in Jerusalem. When they heard the loud noise, everyone came running, and they were bewildered to hear their own languages being spoken by the believers. They were completely amazed. “How can this be?” they exclaimed. “These people are all from Galilee, and yet we hear them speaking in our own native languages! Here we are—Parthians, Medes, Elamites, people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, the province of Asia, Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, and the areas of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism), Cretans, and Arabs. And we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!” They stood there amazed and perplexed. “What can this mean?” they asked each other. But others in the crowd ridiculed them, saying, “They’re just drunk, that’s all!”
Acts of the Apostles 2:1‭-‬13 NLT

  27. “Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging all his listeners, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!””
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:40‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As Peter preaches to the listeners he warns them to save themselves from this wicked generation, and we as the fire must teach and share to all nation about Jesus Christ and to save the lost and baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ so that they can be save from this generation.

  28. TLB – 46 They worshiped together regularly at the Temple each day, met in small groups in homes for Communion, and shared their meals with great joy and thankfulness, 47 praising God. The whole city was favorable to them, and each day God added to them all who were being saved.

One of the first instincts that the people had after being filled with the Spirit of God was to worship at the Temple, meet in small groups (sharing what they had experienced) and sharing meals with others, again I believe they shared what they experienced.

This is the greatest outreach tool, telling others what God has done for you. Too many times we keep it to ourselves, or think that people are interested in what we have experienced. Some may not be, but there are some that will be and you can use your influence to bring them into a relationship with the Lord. Just tell your story – don’t add to it, don’t take away, don’t be arrogant – just tell your story!

  29. 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  30. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Here god gives the perfect example the only true way to be saved and have eternal life, and it’s not like a once in a lifetime deal we have the blessed assurance of knowing that every time that we fall and make a mistake we can go to him and get a refreshing of the Holy Ghost. And not only is it promise to use but it’s also promised to the future generations to follow.

  31. It was a day much like anyday it could of been a Monday or a Saturday. It could of been a Tuesday. But they were in the upper room their minds were in one accord . They were United (truly united) suddenly came a sound like a mighty rushing wind and they tongues were cloven like as a fire and the Holy Ghost felled on them they began to speak in other tongues .
Others doubted and said these people are drunk . And Peter was like nonsense it’s 9:00 A.m it’s too early this is the power of the HOLY GHOST . Peter preached about JESUS and that they killed him. This pricked their hearts. They didn’t leave they said what must we do and peter said I’m glad you asked REPENT and be baptized in the name of JESUS Christ for the remission of sins and you will receive the power of the HOLY GHOST. That day 3000 souls were saved . Talk about revival. And we can have that same experience today how awesome is that .

  32. 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

When we were younger my uncle Joel would (at very random moments) tell us we need to pray for those who do us wrong; and then proceed with a country song about praying horrible things over someone.

Though he was joking and only hoping to make us laugh, I believe some have this same mindset. Maybe not going as far as some of the things sung in this song. But doing things such as; holding a grudge and refusing to forgive, badmouthing them to others, or wishing bad things on them.

That is not the way to go. There is so much more freedom in praying for them, praying for the strength to forgive and then doing it. When we leave in in the hands of God, friendships can be restored, the negative can be removed, and we can keep our hands and our heart clean of bitterness and anger!

“Those who leave everything in God’s hands, will eventually see God’s hands in everything!”

  33. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world.

  34. Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of a fire, and it sat upon each of them.
2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
2:38 Then Peter said unto them Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I think one of the most fantastic days I have ever had was when I received the Holy Ghost and spoke in other tongues. There are unbelievers and doubters in this world. If we can get them to church so they too can recieive the Holy Spirit, there should ber NO DOUBT whatsoever in the believe of our Lord Jesus Christ! I know this is what we all try to do. Thank you POFW church!

  35. I learned that when they all received the Holy Ghost in the place, they celebrated and got the Holy Ghost everyday after that.

  36. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
This is one Of the Scriptures I know by heart
And Peter said to baptized everyone of them in the name of Jesus Christ

  37. ““God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This Scripture means that, When God raised Jesus from the dead. The Apostles saw that Jesus has overcome death and them other people were all witnessed to seeing Jesus alive and well. Even before Jesus died many people saw The Miracles of Jesus and knew this must be The Messiah that The Prophet Isaiah Prophecy about His Coming

  38. 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

    Acts 2:37‭-‬39 NIV

We all need to repent and be baptized and have the gift if the Holy Spirit to be saved. We have to be baptized and have the gift of the Holy Spirit to enter the kingdom of God. We can live our lives with Christ, we can be saved our names can be put on his book and we can enter His kingdom. We have to be willing to change ourselves out lives out everything to give out life to Him. It might not be easy for anybody to change and turn there lives around but, He can do anything He can change your life around and you can be saved! Believe in Him have faith in Him.!
    LIVE GIVE JESUS!!

  39. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

    44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be Praised

    2 Timothy 1:7
for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Thank you Jesus for giving us peace that passeth all understanding!

  40. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Peter preached to the people about how they need to save themselves from this crooked generation and fall into the word of God. The listeners began to believe and all got baptized and began to go to church. As the people of the Lord we need to start spreading his word and his love showing people that he is real and coming for us. The Lord can save all of us from our mistakes, and protect all of us.

  41. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

When you’re on the Lord’s side, your enemies will fall before you. I’m glad I chose the winning side. Your enemies may try to come in and bring you down, but God will keep you lifted up. No need to worry when God is before you.

  42. Acts 2:14, 37-39, 41
    14) But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

    37) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren what shall we do?
    38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
    39) For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

    41) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

When Peter stood up on the Day of Pentecost and preached the Word, the people were pricked (pierced, penetrated,… like a spear, or knife) in their heart. Those that gladly received the Word were baptized. 3,000 souls were added to them.

When the Word of God is preached, it will prick (pierce and penetrate…like a spear or knife) (For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, Heb. 4:12) people’s hearts. And when they gladly receive it, they will be baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. People will be saved.

Can anyone say, “3,000 Soul REVIVAL at the downtown Fort Worth Convention Center!”
    It’s time for REVIVAL!!

  43. “And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:45-47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s the joy and peace we adopt when we are baptized and receive the Holy Ghost, there is nothing like it! Jesus has washed away our sins, given us new life, and given us power to overcome. I thank God for His promises, His faithfulness, and His sacrifice. I pray we go and praise the Lord, walking in His favor and being a witness to others!

  44. 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

What a great illustration of receiving the Holy Ghost! The heart will rejoice! The Tongue will be glad! and you will rest in a true hope!

Thank you JESUS for such a wonderful gift!

  45. I Love To Worship The Lord
    (2-3)
As the belivers met together that day suddenly ther was a sound like the roaring of a mighty wind storm in the skies above them and it filled the house were they were meeting . Then what looked like flames of tongues of fire appeared and settled on their heads
Three phenomena occurred together that made the coming of the Holy Spirit on pentecost an unmistakable and unique event (1)the rushing wind(2) the visible flames resting on each believer present(3) speaking in other tongues

  46. 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

When we call on the name of the lord and get baptized and get the Holy Ghost and repent we will be saved

  47. Diligence reaps rewards

Two scriptures in the Bible prove this point. Let’s see the downside of the first in Proverbs 13:4, “The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” This person wants to be successful, with all of the wants and desires, but without diligence he cannot make it. The last part of the verse indicates the diligent person is going to be successful.

Proverbs 12:24 also verifies this: “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor.” The diligent person will be in control or in management—will rule. But the indifferent person, the sluggard, will be forced to work at the more menial paying jobs that won’t produce the good things or extras in life that most people desire. Think about something as this school year ends. You could approach the rest of the school year from either of the two different attitudes we just read about. You could decide to just get through it—get your time of education behind you and deal later with whatever comes next. Maybe you treat some of your classes that way—just enduring them—while you enjoy and are diligent in other classes. What you are doing is setting a pattern that will follow you the rest of your life. As you leave this school year behind and go on to the next level, this way will probably continue in your life.

  48. “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

After the people heard the truth that Jesus is both Lord and Christ, God and flesh, the anointed One whom they crucified. This truth generated conviction. It made them ask “What shall we do?”. I pray that we would take courage and be bold. We would preach the truth so that the people would begin to ask, “What shall we do?” And we could point them to Christ.

  49. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
    44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

When the spirit of God came upon the poeple they became one body a family they did everything with unity and joy.

  50. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    THE PAINFUL PRODUCTION OF PATIENCE

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The knowledge was limited, the instructions were vague, the timeline was unclear, the evidence was unprecedented; the only certainties were the PLACE and the PROMISE.

    The PLACE – Jerusalem
The PROMISE – The Holy Ghost

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

The challenge of human nature is that we all seek results. NOW results and answers to our problems and questions. However, we often sacrifice the FULL for the Partial.

In verse 1 of this passage that I have read, quoted and preached thousands of times over the past 31 years. The word FULLY leaped out of the verse. FULLY indicates that, there was a “partial” or not full or complete. Maybe a building up, momentum type of feeling leading up to it.

OK. I confess that I have not won any awards for “Most Patient Person”. I am a get ahead of the next car kind of traveler, the challenge is that there is always another car. This type personality is not ideal for “Most Patient Person” award. However, I do have a WORD to assist me in times as these. I combine 2 passages for this revelation.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift,…

    and

Matthew 10:22 … but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

These are my constant spiritual reminders that I must Produce Patience and ENDURE.

In times of uncertainty and limited details, such as now, people are on edge, easily offended and quick to judge. I pray that over these 40 Days that we (I) will allow THE PAINFUL PRODUCTION OF PATIENCE to prepare me for the FULLY Time of HIS (JESUS) next move.

The ELEPHANT in my room is PATIENCE and I must continually condition myself in this area. The verse that helps me most in this PRODUCTION is.

Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Thats what JESUS told the disciples before sending them to Jerusalem. I know not of a class on “tarrying” or “waiting” but it is necessary. Life has its own personalized class for each of us.

The apostle Paul gives the church insight into this PAINFUL PRODUCTION.

    Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Glory in your life troubles, because GOD is working on you. Surgery is painful, therapy is painful and PATIENCE is painful.

But the result after the pain is productive. Maintaining UNITY in times of waiting is a great challenge, because of the unique personalities we all possess, which is also what makes a group, team or church successful.

I believe human nature is that we all believe that we are right in our thinking until we are not. PATIENCE or Tarrying teaches us to wait on the BEST opportunity to move.

We are WAITING on the LORD and Looking for the BEST opportunity for REVIVAL and The HARVEST of the LORD for these last days. My prayer for all is:

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

The balance of the Apostle Pauls message to the church is:

    Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Without PATIENCE we have no HOPE and without HOPE we have no understanding of the Love of GOD demonstrated in us through the Holy Ghost.

  51. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
    Hallelujah

  52. 7 They were completely amazed. “How can this be?” they exclaimed. “These people are all from Galilee, 8 and yet we hear them speaking in our own native languages!

Yes the unrighteous are amazed when a miracle occurs. They can’t understand how it could happen. The righteous expect miracles and are comfortable with it. We pray for miracles, for blessing, and for healings. We have faith, and nothing should amaze us, cause we know God can do all things.

  53. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

This focus on God’s Word did not quench the moving of the Holy Spirit; it fulfilled what the Holy Spirit wanted to do.

  54. Hechos 2:3

! Nosotros!

  55. 38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

  56. vs.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, a d it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Blow mighty wind blow…blow away this Corona virus..blow every disease and sickness away… Blow every back slider back home…lost souls… fill us with The Holy Ghost!!!
    His Spirit can do anything!!!
    Thank you ,JESUS.

  57. 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

If we are to find favour with all people, we must do the same as the Apostolic church in the book of Acts. If we do that, the Lord will do the rest. It is He that will add to the church.

  58. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Thank you Jesus for the Holy Ghost

  59. God knows what position to have you in when HE begins to move and work in you’re life…

Save yourselves from this untoward t generation.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

    (where they were sitting)

    Acts 2:11 KJV
[11] Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

That is another reason why talking like a trash can is horrible because that same tongue has been loosened to speck in the most heavenly language needs to keep clean, gossiping and talking bad is not something that should be coming out of a mouth.

    Psalm 34:13 KJV
[13] Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

Acts 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

    Acts 2:17 KJV
[17] And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

(It doesn’t say you had to be a born on a certain day at a certain time) (human beings in general) God can use you, and me the same just know you’re passion HE already knows you’re heart.

The tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth. The tongue is covered with moist, pink tissue called mucosa. Tiny bumps called papillae give the tongue its rough texture. Thousands of taste buds cover the surfaces of the papillae.
(BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU FEED YOURSELF)
Pastor said to eat the delicious word of God everyday

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
    (Jesus)

    Acts 2:27 KJV
[27] Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

BUT wait there’s more if you have used you’re mouth in a way that did not represent the King then repent and DON’T do it again.

    Acts 2:36 KJV
[36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

    Joel 3:7 KJV
[7] Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:

    Acts 1:6-7 KJV
[6] When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? [7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

    Matthew 11:5 KJV
[5] The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

    Acts 2:38 KJV
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  60. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Joel was obviously willing to be bold enough to speak what was to come to all that will hear. When God is speaking to His people to lead those around them we must be willing to walk in the same boldness. For one day God will do something that will put all in a place of amazement and it will take bold men and women to proclaim the Word of God for all to see and know HIM.

  61. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

When the Holy Ghost falls we need to be ready to flow with the spirit. We can’t let the flesh or this world to be in our way. It is so crucial that we dedicate our minds and hearts to the word of God!

  62. Then Peter stepped forward with the eleven other apostles and shouted to the crowd, “Listen carefully, all of you, fellow Jews and residents of Jerusalem! Make no mistake about this. These people are not drunk, as some of you are assuming. Nine o’clock in the morning is much too early for that.
Acts of the Apostles 2:14‭-‬15 NLT

As the world tries to push its beliefs on us. We as the church need to fill ourselves with boldness and proclaim Jesus to this sinful world. We need not to be quiet but shout to the top of our lungs the He is coming soon.

  63. Peter, full of the Holy Ghost and power beautifully explained the prophecy of David about the Christ and Joel prophecy (Promise if the Holy Spirit). The multitude understood, not because of beautiful words, but because teaching the doctrine of the scriptures and prophecy. They opened their eyes and understood that they crucified The Lord.

  64. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
What an incredible experience that must have been to actually see tongues of flame resting on each of them as they were filled with the Holy Spirit……When we vas believers are united in their vision and goals, the kingdom of God is greatly enhanced. There is great power in unity and in commitment to a common purpose. The tongues spoken by the disciples became a powerful witness to thar gathered crowd. Today , no right now more than ever, we need the empowerment of the Spirit to witness to people everywhere. Thank you Jesus for the precious gift of the Holy Spirit in us. Hallelujah!!

  65. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Thank you Jesus for baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. When pastor was preaching last night one of the many things that stuck out to me was. I have to have the fire in my life to even go to heaven to be saved because it is the salvation of my soul. Jesus is the fire. We must turn away from the evil ways of this world and continually pray for the nation that they will come towards the light- Jesus. Jesus I pray for the winning of souls and a great revival. In Jesus name I believe it.

  66. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Everyone apostolic that I know can quote Acts 2:38 by heart. Not only that but that is one of the first verses that we teach our children as well. My parents were hardcore believers that 2:38 and 2:39 should never be separated. In our household growing up they were always learned and quoted together. I didn’t even realize that they were two different verses until almost 4th grade when I looked them up one day to show a friend. In our home, we plan to teach our boys the same. Yes, we have to repent, get baptized in Jesus name, and receive the Holy Ghost, however that’s not where it ends. It is not a prize to be hidden or kept to yourself, but rather shared to all you know and come in contact with. “. . . For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” How many shall He call?? The number in insurmountable. This promise is for everyone.

  67. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

  68. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

On the day of pentecost everyone who was praying their tongues caught on fire and they recieved the holy ghost and they were all in one accord speaking in other languages and they were with Jesus!!!

    God bless yall🙏🙏🙌🙌

  69. “And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
    ‭‭

Happy 2nd day of 40 days of the fire

  70. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

This fire burns in each of us. Lord let me walk, pray, display, and teach in the Holy Spirit. Lord tlet my action reflect the action of Jesus and let my fire burn bright for all to see. In Jesus name!

  71. wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem.

  72. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

What a beautiful moment. Together in one accord in unity. When suddenly the power of God fell upon them. Such an incredible experience that we too are able to experience in our current time. As we gather together in one place in one accord the Spirit of the Lord can come upon us.

  73. “On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:1-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Before we can be filled, we must recognize our emptiness, by gathering together for prayer, in obedience, these disciples did just that. They recognized they did not have the resources in themselves to do what they could do or should do, they had to instead rely on the work of God.
They were gathered together sharing the same heart, the same love for God, the same trust in His promise.

I remember the first day I was refilled with the Holy Ghost on a Friends Day @POFW. I never knew how important it is to speak in Holy Ghost till that day. How my life has change because of it. I remember Pastor Watts saying Speak in the Holy Ghost and i said to my self how can I speak with praying. Now I know that as long as the Holy Ghost is in me I can be in the car, at my home, anywhere and speak in Holy Ghost when before it was unknown to me.
I can help it to think of all the services I attended all my life and I can count with my two hands the times I spoke in the Holy Ghost. Sad 😢 but true. Now I know the importance that I must be filled day after day.

  74. 25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

How can the Lord be on the right hand of David and God at the same time? How can he be before David’s face and in his right hand at the same time? The right hand signifies power, he is the power, he is the reasonDavid was powerful. When we seek Jesus in our lives we can do thing we never thought of,

  75. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lordour God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Of all the promises you can find in the book, this one is the biggest and with greatest significance of all. Even as many as the Lord our God shall call. We don’t know who all it is for but all seem to be included. That should be our mindset. We must tell the people of the good news, the Gospel.

  76. “And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:7-8, 12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

They didn’t know how to explain the Holy Ghost so they called the people drunk. Even in the Bible we are shown examples of people mocking and fearing what they don’t understand. It was easier to believe that people can get drunk and do crazy things that can’t be explained than to have someone believe that God allowed them to speak in other tongues that they didn’t know.

  77. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

We have been in the last days since the day of Pentecost and God is not done pouring out his spirit upon all flesh, I just feel like God is working in our midst and we are about to see revivals like none has never seen or heard of. It’s like that old song says I just feel like something good is about to happen I just feel like something good is on its way. We have been hearing the prophetic word for a while and it is coming in Jesus name.

  78. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I’m so thankful for the ability to be able to do these things so that I have a path to heaven. Praise Jesus for giving us all the chance to redeem ourselves through his sacrifice and his blood. Oh how happy I shall be to be in his presence in heaven. We will all have eternity to worship him, praise him and ask him, the creator of the universe, any question and know that he is the answer. Hallelujah, Praise you Jesus.

  79. “Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?” Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.””
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:12-13‬ NIV

Some made fun of what was going on, of the promise that was playing out before them, of the goodness that had taken place, laughing and accusing them of being drunk. What would’ve happened if they would’ve stopped sipping on that hater-ade and just started rejoicing with those that were filled? It would’ve been so easy for them to receive the Holy Ghost if they hadn’t been so busy judging the situation and instead shared in their excitement. Sometimes you miss out on what God has for you because you’re too busy making fun of others being drunk on God’s goodness that you miss out on your own promises that God has set aside for you.

  80. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

It’s his promise folks. God ain’t letting up anytime soon. There’s no looking behind us all we have to do is point and prophecy because God will pour out his spirit on all flesh you want momma to be save point and prophecy, you want your sister to be saved just point and prophecy how bout your best bud yep go ahead and point and prophecy cause Gods gonna do it and you better believe it.

  81. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Diligence. Don’t stop after “the experience.” God has so much more for us if we will just continue to diligently seek His face!

  82. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, an in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

steadfastly = to persevere, be constantly diligent
    fellowship = participation
breaking of bread = sharing a meal (not eating alone)
    prayer

Because they took these actions God moved. We need to do the same but do it whole-heartedly searching for Gods will and not do it because its another task to check off the list.

  83. “But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip.(‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2:24NLT)

All things are in controlled by God there is no power in hell that can stand up to God. Nothing by any means can ever separate us from God. This is why we must repent daily because sin is the only thing that we allow to separate us from Him.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.”(‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:38‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

  84. Due to the diligence of those at that time they were able to press forward and not only find the true gifts but also share those with others. we must remembering to always let our own salvation be a witness to those around us and to show that regardless of situations we can overcome all things with that power given unto us.
