Acts 3

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

  1. Acts of the Apostles 3:6-9
[6]But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”
[7]Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened.
[8]He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.
[9]All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God.
When we receive healings and miracles we need to praise and thank Jesus

  2. 4And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength. 8And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

But such as I have I give thee, is our theme for 2020. In this day we are living with so much uncertainty and there is so much doubt and fear. Shear panic has gripped the nation and many still can not believe what we have to deal with even with a small virus. There is coming a day that America will have to face a decision to either turn to God or be left to stand judgement based upon the wickedness that they are per takers of.

We as the church have to be much bolder and live Jesus to be the example that Jesus called us to be. We have to be a refuge in the time of the trouble for many non believers that will have to run to the house of God to find answers. Living Jesus is a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week priority. We have to be the example of Christ.

Then there is the giving ourselves for Jesus to be soul winners and the church that is ready to handle such a harvest that we are going to see in the last days when Jesus pours out his spirit.

Living and giving Jesus is a

  3. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

  4. So in Acts Chapter 3 verses 12 it’s talking about how Peter look so Honestly upon the people so then the people had there own power and holiness so a man could walk then in verse 13 it’s talking about the 3 Gods of our Fathers that delivered up the Presence of Pilate where he was determined to let him go

  5. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

  6. Verses 1-11 MSG “One day at three o’clock in the afternoon, Peter and John were on their way into the Temple for prayer meeting. At the same time there was a man crippled from birth being carried up. Every day he was set down at the Temple gate, the one named Beautiful, to beg from those going into the Temple. When he saw Peter and John about to enter the Temple, he asked for a handout. Peter, with John at his side, looked him straight in the eye and said, “Look here.” He looked up, expecting to get something from them. Peter said, “I don’t have a nickel to my name, but what I do have, I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” He grabbed him by the right hand and pulled him up. In an instant his feet and ankles became firm. He jumped to his feet and walked. The man went into the Temple with them, walking back and forth, dancing and praising God. Everybody there saw him walking around and praising God. They recognized him as the one who sat begging at the Temple’s Gate Beautiful and rubbed their eyes, astonished, scarcely believing what they were seeing. The man threw his arms around Peter and John, ecstatic. All the people ran up to where they were at Solomon’s Porch to see it for themselves.” Talk about joyful…..can you imagine being crippled from birth and now your able to walk, dance and praise God? What an awesome feeling of joy that crippled man must have felt. The end of verse 16 shows us how this came about “….Faith in Jesus’ name put this man, whose condition you know so well, on his feet—yes, faith and nothing but faith put this man healed and whole right before your eyes.”

James 1:2-3 AMP “Consider it nothing but joy, my [a]brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].

1 Peter 1:8-9 AMP “Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not even see Him now, you believe and trust in Him and you greatly rejoice and delight with inexpressible and glorious joy, receiving as the result [the outcome, the consummation] of your faith, the salvation of [a]your souls.” Be joyful as we LIVE-GIVE JESUS!

  7. Silver and Gold have I none but I have JESUS. JESUS is the only thing you need he is better than money . This guy expected Money but instead he got a healing. You might expect something but God will give you something better

  8. 11. And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

    12. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

God doesn’t heal those we pray for so that we can get praise and attention – God heals them to build their faith in Him. We didn’t heal them – He did. We can’t save their soul – He can. So when you get your healing, don’t look at me – look at Him!

It’s understandable to want a hero
    But people can’t meet
    All your expectations
    Still some can teach you
Things about the love He brings
Just know the source of life
    Is in the Savior

I’ll lead you to the One I found
He’ll give you everything you need

He’s the One who lived a perfect life
He’s the One who always gets it right
He’s the One and only guiding light
He is everthing you want to be
He’s the answer to your every need
If you follow Him then you will see
    He’s like no other

    Don’t look at me
    If you’re looking for perfection
    Don’t look at me
I will only let you down
I’ll do my best o point you
    In the right direction
    But don’t look at me
Don’t look at me, look at Him

  9. Acts 2: 6 -7 [ amp] But Peter said, Silver and gold
( money) I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to to in ( the use of) the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!
[7] Then he took hold of the man’s right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. And at once his feet and ankle bones became strong and steady.
Get out of our comfort zone, Spend more time with Jesus, Build our relationship stronger and steady.
Jesus heal the lame man, Jesus open blind eyes, Jesus raised the dead. Jesus is the miracle worker.
As we go fourth on our 40 days of fire, May our fire never go out. Go forth and leaping and jumping with praising our God with Joy. The joy of Lord is our strength!

  10. 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
His faith is what gave him strength, everybody saw the miracle and then they believed he was healed. But you can’t see all things, you have to seek it and believe it.

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

  11. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

What we have is far more than any currency could ever compare to. It’s is something we should value above all things, no matter long we have been in church or how long we have had the Holy Ghost. It is a treasure just to be able to be apart of God’s gift, it is our responsibility to share that with the world. That gift is what sets people free and has more value than any thing we could give

  12. Thank you Jesus for today , let’s focus on God’s Truth , his Love ,mercy, grace

He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them. You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact!
Acts of the Apostles 3:8‭, ‬15 NLT

  13. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Such a simple verse, but WOW! In the day that we are living in, while things seems so uncertain, the best thing can do is spread the gospel while we have there is time left!

    #liveJesus
    #giveJesus

  14. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Notice the lame man did not lack expectation he lacked money and the ability to walk but He has expectation. I can’t help but wonder if as he looked at them he noticed something different about them and maybe his expectation grew. Peter and John was used by God to give him more than he expected. This day he would gain the ability to walk and provide for himself but he would also gain faith and a testimony that would encourage and lead others to there one who heard him.

We must go to God with expectation and when He provides for us it is our responsibility to tell others. It is our responsibility to be joyful And thankful to God.

    • “🤣 he would also gain faith and a testimony that would encourage and lead others to the one who healed him.

  15. ‘“And now, friends, I know you had no idea what you were doing when you killed Jesus, and neither did your leaders. But God, who through the preaching of all the prophets had said all along that his Messiah would be killed, knew exactly what you were doing and used it to fulfill his plans.”
    Acts 3:17-18 (MSG)

I like how the Message translation put it; “I know you had no idea what you were doing”…”But God,…knew exactly what you were doing and used it to fulfill His plans…”

How true that is even today in our own lives! There are times we like to believe that we know exactly what we are doing and have it all going according to our personal plans, but by the grace of God, He already knows our every thought and action. And He’s able to use it to fulfill His Plans!

So rather you sought Jesus first with your plans and agendas or went independent and without guidance, Jesus will always be able to fulfill His Plans! We are blessed with the opportunity to do it with Him instead in spit of. Seek Him First!

  16. “Now while he was still holding on to Peter and John, all the people, utterly amazed, ran together and crowded around them at the covered porch called Solomon’s portico. And Peter, seeing this, said to the people, “You men of Israel, why are you amazed at this? Why are you staring at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:11-12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Peter was not one to take credit for the miracle of god. He was sure to let them know that it was not him in the natural that did this. Make sure we aren’t taking the credit for the miracles of god. God uses you so they can see him through us.

  17. Acts 3
12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus.

I believe with all my heart we are going to see a multitude of people come. Not just physically lame. This world is filled with people lame in their emotions their relationships their finances yet God wants to restore them to being whole. I see street people being made whole ,restored , and leaping for joy . Not by what we can give them but by what God can ! Give us boldness to speak with spiritual authority in Jesus name . Oh I believe in the power of Jesus Christ ….God can and will restore joy and hope . We must live Jesus to Give Jesus. I may not have riches but I have a God who can supply more than riches to an individual. Fill us with your power daily let the Fire of the Holy Ghost shine and burn brightly. We serve the same God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

  18. “And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Here we see a great example of what our response should be when we see the miraculous happen, for both those witnessing and whomever God has chosen to use. Peter asked the crowd around them, Why are you looking at us like we made this happen?. Peter reminded them that all glory belongs to God because He is the one that heals. This miracle also reminds us, again, that it is God who heals NOT US. Peter remained humble and boasted in the Lord, not himself. We have to remember we are mere vessels for God to use. If He uses us, Hallelujah! If He uses someone else, Hallelujah!

I thank God for His Word being alive and still applicable to our life today. I pray we go and tell what God has done, boasting in His name and not our own.

  19. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
EMPTY HANDED BUT FULL OF POWER

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Society places much attention on financial status and the ability or willingness to give. These are good measures for the Spiritual condition of the heart. But, what about when we have nothing to give financially?

We find our answer to the question here in Acts 3. Without any money to give. They gave JESUS or the POWER that had received through the Holy Ghost.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

This reveals to us that Spiritual Power is more valuable than common currency. But, if we examine our lives; our habits and actions. We are more prone to focus more attention on making money that we are demonstrating the POWER of JESUS through the Holy Ghost.

May JESUS lead us over these 40 Days of The FIRE to invest deeper in our Kingdom Power account than in our financial account.

    Start here:

What is your POWER account balance?

Make a deposit several times a day.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:

LIVE JESUS and GIVE JESUS somehow today. Call someone, text someone, email someone, encourage someone, pray for someone. Whatever POWER we have lets GIVE it to others in JESUS Name.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  20. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Oh what a Wonderful God we serve!!!! The thing that always marvel me which makes me understand all those people around them, is that when you haven’t walked for a long time and you start walking it’s weird. You begin like a baby, little by little, you must go to physical therapy, and they teach you to walk all over again. I know this on first hand; but God restore this man completely in a way that he gets up, running, leaping and Praising God!!!! Our God does miracles that are just perfect. I also love the fact that he Praises the correct person, he thanks God, not Peter, not John, nor anyone else but GOD. Doctors are here to help us, God gave them the talent so they can help us heal, but at the end when they declare you healed give the Glory to JESUS FOR HE IS THE MIRACLE WORKING GOD! Some doctors may not understand the fact that God should be the first one you give thanks to, it does not matter as long as you give Honor, Glory, and Praise to God First. Thank you Jesus for you have healed me so many times that I can’t count! Thank you Jesus because you are still working on me!! You are Worthy of ALL of our PRAISE!

  21. iLove the Kingdom
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

I’ve heard so many times and am sure I will continue to hear through out the years that God cant use us unless we walk in holiness and get closer to him. I’m sure all have heard statements like, “We got to live right and once we get closer to Jesus, then he will give us great supernatural gifts.” This scripture informs us that people don’t get healed because of our holiness, but by simple faith in Jesus.

  22. 18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Thank you Lord for your word today & for the Holy Spirit.

  23. 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

People gathered out of curiosity but left with a word planted in their hearts. In times like now, people are searching for hope and we have the opportunity to share that with them. Speak joy and life today in Jesus Name!

    Acts 3:4‭-‬9 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/act.3.4-9.KJV

The lame man expected money but God gave him something that he didn’t expect , healing you see God knows exactly what we need. God gave the man something much more than money you could even put a price on this , healing when God steps in things have to change . God know that the lame didn’t need money ,he need a healing

    unexpected blessing 👏

Thank you JESUS for you grace and love

  25. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God

What a Joyful encounter as the disciples gave what they had-Jesus! When we give Jesus to a person in need, the end result will be the joy of the Lord in their life. There’s nothing better to see than a life changed through Jesus.

  26. I love this powerful story! While reading I can visualize this healing happening and I get goosebumps. What a powerful testimony this man had. All of us have testimonies! I have seen some healings in my time. God is so good and we should live Jesus and give Jesus all the days of our lives. In the weird times only Jesus can get you through.

  27. 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

When people hear of the miracles, signs and wonders God is doing, they’ll come running.

But they’ll never hear it if we don’t spread the word!

They’ll come out of wonder of the miracles, and leave with the greatest miracle there is; the gift of the Holy Ghost!!

  28. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

  29. Act 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
Act 3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
Act 3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
Act 3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
Act 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

The lame man laid at the gate of the temple – called Beautiful. Although he laid at the temple doors, a beautiful place, that no doubt people traveled to view as it would be a sightseeing event, he knew that the temple itself could do nothing for him. He had to depend on the people that passed by to view it’s beauty to provide his need. Yet instead of these people passing by to view the beauty of the gate of the temple, they came to worship the God on the inside of the the temple.

Although, just like everyone else he asked he expected to receive alms, but instead he received the goods that came from the worship on the inside of the temple.

When we come to church, we should not just come with intent of getting for ourselves, but we should come with the intent of getting something to give to others ouside the walls of the church. Many people aren’t going to just come to church of their own accord, but if we can live and give Jesus to them, then it changes their perspective of what coming to the temple means.

  30. 24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Thank the Lord Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for our sins. And thank you for the Holy Spirit that he has baptized us for without him we are nothing and can’t do nothing. I gave you thanks Lord for all you have done for your people.

  31. ““Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Having faith in the name of Jesus and if you don’t doubt, we can begin to perform the miraculous works of Jesus. In faith we can move mountain, in faith we can heal, and in faith we trust on Jesus. So let us have faith in Jesus that He is still in control.

  32. One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.

  33. 3;6 then Peter said: silver and gold have I non , but such I have give i thee; in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
    ——
We have Jesus, and He has given to us a measure of faith.
It it in his name, that I will face today, walking by faith. With the joy of the Lord.
Calling those things that are not as though they were. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be victorious
    Hallelujah

  34. “Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:1-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The lame man simply wanted to be supported in the condition that he was in. God had something better in mind; Jesus wanted to completely change his condition. Remember Gods still in control of everything. We just need to let him be first in all that we do.

  35. They all rushed out in amazement to Solomon’s Colonnade, where the man was holding tightly to Peter and John.

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

This newly won man to Christ was just a spiritual babe. He clung to his man of God while he was enjoying his miracle and new walk with GOD.

What an amazing feeling it is when we have been truly forgiven. Such a joy and refreshing. Amen!

  36. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

When people see the wonderful miracles of the Lord they go running to him, see all the people gathered around to see the miracle of the Lord. We need do start spreading the word of God telling people about his word and his love for us. Can you imagine how many more miracles and lives could be saved. Give your all to God, let him use you to spread his mighty word.

  37. we love God because he’ll go out of his way to help us, if we take advantage of his blessings then his hand will be removed.

  38. The beggars were placed at the entrance of the temple not the city because it was considered praiseworthy in the Jewish religion to give money to beggars. The city gates had people constantly flowing through it, but they placed them outside the temple. The man was expecting money but received something greater. Peter and John were sensitive and they spoke the will of God and the man was healed. So we need to be sensitive to the will of God because we may pass by someone who is not expecting God to move and touch them, but because we are a conduit of God they are going to receive something greater.

  39. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them- walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. (JOYFUL).

  40. Acts 3:6-10 Then Peter said, silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God: And they knew that it was he which sat for arms at the Beautiful gate of the temple : and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

As we live and give Jesus we will see people come in the Church healed and know that God healed them.

John 9:8 The neighbors therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said, This is he: others said, He is like: but he said, I am he.

  41. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

So many people today are looking for something to help them through life just like this man, he was looking for something that might bring him nourishment or even clothing but what he got from them changed his life forever. Instead of us praying a few times for a miracle we should be like the man at the gate that never gave up until he got his life changing blessing.

  42. Acts 3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
Acts 3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
Acts 3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Acts 3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
Acts 3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping and praising God.
Acts 3:16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, their faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, ythat your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

What a glorious miracle to happen! Through one miracle many others can be saved! Miracles still happen today. I have personally had miracles happen to me. Weak Christians and the un saven need to realize that miracles are here, NOW! Thank you Jesus for all that you do for us! I love you Jesus!

  43. I LOVE TO WORSHIP THE LORD
    vs-6
But Peter said we dont have any money for you ! But i give you something else! I command you in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Walk!
That power did flow. The cripples feet and ankles were strengthen and the man walked and leaped living proof of the power of Jesus

  44. Acts 3:16 (NLT), “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed – and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”

“Through FAITH in the name of JESUS”
Romans 12:3b tells us that “… according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of FAITH.”
God has dealt to every man the measure of FAITH, and in Hebrews 11:33-34, we read of people “Who through FAITH subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”
In Acts 3, the lame man was healed “Through FAITH in the name of JESUS.”

All it takes is a little bit of FAITH in the name of JESUS!
    FAITH, FAITH, FAITH
Just a little bit of FAITH
    FAITH, FAITH, FAITH
Just a little bit of FAITH
It don’t take a whole lot
    Just use what you got
    FAITH, FAITH, FAITH
Just a little bit of FAITH

Thank You JESUS for FAITH In YOUR Name!!

  45. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you. Praise him in the mighty name of jesus christ

  46. Acts Chapter 3

Acts Chapter 3 is where we find Peter and John healing a crippled man as they continue to tell people with boldness about Jesus Christ. The two apostles set out for a temple called “Beautiful” because it was the ninth hour, a time for prayer.

    Healing a Beggar
A beggar approaches them as they walk towards the temple gates, this was a man who had been crippled since birth. As he looked upon the two apostles, he expected to receive alms from them. Peter told the man that he did not have anything of material value to give to him, but what he could give is the man’s healing in the Jesus’ name. He took the man’s hand, and the bones that were once crippled immediately received strength.

    Peter Preaches to the People
The man ran into the temple rejoicing and praising God. The people were so amazed at the sight that they crowded around John and Peter. Peter took this opportunity to preach about Christ. He told the people that the man was not healed because of any power he had, but that he was healed only through the power of Christ.

He explained Jesus’ death and resurrection to the people around him and how it was foretold in the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. Peter follows the example of Jesus while He was on earth by preaching to the people that they need to repent and turn from their wicked ways and turn to God.

    Peter Tells about Jesus
Peter explains that when Jesus was on earth, the people of Jerusalem chose a murderer to be released and for Christ to be killed. However, as it was prophesied, Jesus was raised from the dead and will come again. He said that Jesus was given to them so that they may be cleansed of their sins and salvation can be received only through Him.

  47. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

We stay to holy to see God promises
Repent everyday and build our faith with his word for he can do his will without us.

  48. 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.

16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

    Acts 3:15‭-‬16 NIV
    https://bible.com/bible/111/act.3.15-16.NIV

There is no one bigger than God, there is only 1 God and always will be only 1 God. The God I know saves ,He heals people, He is a miracle worker, promise keeper, He is everything you can ever ask for! He can do anything we just have to believe in Him have faith and trust what He is going to do!
    LIVE GIVE JESUS!!

  49. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
    Thanks you Jesus

  50. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ NLT)

We are just like Peter. We have the Bread of Life to feed those around us. We must seize every opportunity that we have to feed them the Truth. If we love Him we will feed His sheep.

    I love the Truth!

After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these? ” “Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.” “Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him. Jesus repeated the question: “Simon son of John, do you love me?” “Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I love you.” “Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said. A third time he asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep. (‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭15-17‬ NLT)

  51. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

I repent Lord Jesus my sins. This is such an important thing for us to do, it allows us to self reflect, to realize that no matter how hard we try, that we are not perfect, no not a one. I believe that repenting helps us realize that kindness is king, that it brings us peace, for to repent is to realize that we’ve done wrong and that only through the grace of Jesus that we can be forgiven. It teaches us that we must also recognize that others too, are not perfect, and that the sooner we realize this the more inner peace we shall have. For one of the kindest things we can do is to forgive, Repenting teaches us this very thing. For if Jesus, who endured so much torture for each of us can forgive us when we pray, repent and ask for his forgiveness, then surely we can forgive those, who we may feel have slighted us. The more I pray, the more I change my life, the more I realize how great he is. I am humble to write his praise for my limited vocabulary cannot explain to him what I feel. He is so great that he sees what is in my heart, that my words cannot convey. Praise you Jesus, I shall forever be your server. I’d rather be a servant in Heaven, than a king in hell.
Hallelujahs to you my Lord Jesus, praise to your name.

  52. 12 Peter saw his opportunity and addressed the crowd. “People of Israel,” he said, “what is so surprising about this? And why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or godliness?

When you see or hear and opportunity to tell someone about God, take it. It could be only chance to do so. That one word or phrase when someone says, is your door of opportunity. They won’t even realize it, but the door is opened. You kindly enter, and start speaking about God.

  53. 11 While the man held on to Peter and John,r all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade.s 12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,t the God of our fathers,u has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him overv to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate,w though he had decided to let him go.x 14 You disowned the Holyy and Righteous Onez and asked that a murderer be released to you.a 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead.b We are witnessesc of this. 16 By faith in the name of Jesus,d this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

When I read this I am reminded that we are made for greater. We read here that the crowd gathered in amazement for a healing like that. I believe Peter knew exactly what to do. He knew that the healing of one person could lead to the repentance and healing of many more, so he steps up to the plate to preach…..
Remember this healing was not meant to bring praise for the lame person or the apostles. It was to lead people to look beyond the healed person to Jesus Christ, in whose name the healing had occurred. Often we see and meet people who do things for others in order to draw attention to themselves. But if we really think about and want to make a difference as the body of Christ we need to help people come to know Jesus. May this remind you that we are made for more, and all this goes way beyond our own selves.
May we repent of focusing on anything that does not help us see Jesus in our lives, the lives of others, and the world around us all.

  54. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

    LOVE. NOW. REVIVE FAITH

🧮 BUT sometimes there’s a “wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me”

Thank you Jesus for mother’s that never give up on their children, no matter how old they are the always be their mothers baby…
    (LOVE) (PRAYER)

In his mother’s womb he was safe, she was used to carrying him, now she only carries the burden of his lost soul, wounded body UNTIL THE NOW HAPPENS.

Don’t get discouraged!! needs are always followed by desire, a want of affection, attention, maybe emotional support. Don’t miss the suddenly because you’re focused on how you feel like you’re prayer should be answered..
I have prayed for years for my brother and had dreams of my brother going to hell and woke up with tears all over my face because there was nothing I could do it was to late, all I could do it cry bitter tears.
BUT I have the the dream of him being delivered and set free, repentance and the sound of chains breaking gives me hope that my baby brother is loving GOD again…
But it came to me one day I needed to wrap him in my heart with prayers NOW so I don’t have to cry bitter tears for his soul later..RIGHT NOW WE HAVE THE ABILITY IT SPECK HEALING THROUGH JESUS NAME…Matthew 9:5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

I don’t tell my brother he is a sinner and he’s going to hell, that’s NOT MY PLACE, anybody can go to hell
… I tell my brother I love him with all my heart and JESUS CAN HEAL HIS HEART AND GIVE HIM FREEDOM ALL HE HAS TO DO IS SPECK!!! Talk to Jesus, repent the relationship never ended..

God will place souls on our heart but it’s easy to Get caught up in my own issues and forgot about other things that cry out for help..
truly it shouldn’t have taken a nightmare for me to have a burned for the lost, lame, blind, lonely, unsaved, hurting, suicidal, sick or need of any that’s not how GOD designed us!!!!

    Encourage each other

It took a lame man being healed to generate
to the people that they are the ones that killed KING

I feel like this certain lame man knew the THE NAME OF JESUS (POWER) and believed on HIM.

    Acts 3:16 KJV
[16] And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

IT IS NOT TO LATE FOR PRISON CELLS TO OPEN

  55. 8-9 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

Don’t be afraid to praise God! You never know who is watching but they will remember a move of God. It may take us acting crazy for Jesus but it will grab this worlds attention to see how God is still alive and doing miracles.

  56. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

The man was lame his whole life and God healed him that proves he can do anything

  57. “Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.”
    ‭‭
Happy 3rd day of 40 days of the fire 🥳

  58. 18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

Anything the Lord speaks will come to fruition. He used men of God such as prophets to deliver the message. Christ was going to suffer and die for sins he didn’t commit for a people that rejected him. That is amazing love. This fulfillment gave us free access to the thrown and an in dwelling of his Holy Ghost. Without the blood of Jesus we would be lost in sin. Submitting to Gods Will when it’s spoken allows him to use us.

  59. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

Expectation and faith is a great combination for the miraculous. Two things that stood out to me was that the lame man had expectations and the disciples had faith. This combination is what brought about a miracle. The man expected to recieve something from the disciples yet their strong faith gave that man more than a few coins. Next time you come to the house of God come with expectancy to receive and mix it with others faith God can do it and meet the need.

  60. Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!””(Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:4-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

    GIVE JESUS!!!

We know as a church that giving to the poor is a deed that the Lord will bless. For He blesses those that (Deuteronomy‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬)“Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.” We have Jesus living on the inside. All riches are his anyways and this lame man needed more than money. We have the opportunity in that moment to “give Jesus”. This is why we need to be prayed up, read up and full of Holy Ghost fire! Not just for us but for others.

  61. “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬
This Scripture means that, Peter was talking about Salvation of Acts 2:38 to The People of Israel that they should Repent and be Baptized In The Name Of Jesus And They should receive The Gift Of The Holy Ghost.

  62. Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.
Acts of the Apostles 3:4‭-‬8 NLT

This is why our faith must be strong in Him. We must realize that if we have the Holy Ghost then We have Him and if we have Him then we are a vessel God can use to perform miracles signs and wonders. We must be ready at all times cause we never know who we can encounter that needs a miracle.

  63. “Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:4-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The lame man was correct in expecting to receive something from them, but he received much more than the monetary donation he would have been satisfied with.
Many have yet to come to the place where they really expect something from God. This is faith, plain and simple even if the man expected less than Jesus wanted to give.
We should expect the right things from God. We are often much too ready to settle for much less than God wants to give to us, and our low expectations often rob us of God’s blessings.

  64. vs.3 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the nine hour.

Evidently, prayer had become a priority with the apostles.
Prayer will lead us and into His presence…as we pray with adoration, and praise where God loves to dwell…as we embrace His powerful, lovely ,and superior name…of
    JESUS.

  65. The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

    14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

  66. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

We may not have what the world needs or desires. BUT we have a God that has it ALL. We as the church must give Jesus to this world in need. As they see the miracles and wonders of God does for them. It will bring them to God and many will follow. We might not have silver or gold but in the name of Jesus… it shall be done! Praise God.

  67. 17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

It’s so strange that we can’t see some things, even when they’re writen down and read for hundreds and hundreds of years.

  68. Great expectation

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

This man has something going for him that most poor folks don’t have. He had great expectations. This is an attribute of real faith. Faith is exercised in the expectation, it is the next step. If you just believe something could happen versus expecting it to. We have to train our faith meter to rise above just pure belief into the realm of expectation where we will start to see what we expect. I expect great things are on their way. In Jesus Name

  69. “And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:11-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This man who they knew became the evidence they needed to know that Jesus was real. These people had a real come to Jesus meeting ( only it was Peter and John). When they were hearing part of the explanation Peter went on to open the scriptures to them so they could see further that Jesus was Lord.

There will be things done in the name of Jesus that will astonish people and gather their attention so they will stop and listen. We have to take that time to share Jesus. We can’t leave out any of the explanation. We have have to share the whole message of Jesus right there when they are drawn in by the miracle.

  70. 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

God you are the Holy One and the Just. You have been so good to me, I never want to deny you ever again in my life. I have put him on the shelf too often in my life but he has been faithful to me. I think about the song that is true about a lot of us, if any one should ever write our life story for whatever reason Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me. Lord let us catch on fire for you.

  71. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

There was GREAT JOY when this miracle happened. The lame man had been like that for many years but when Peter and John took ACTION and prayed for him a REVIVAL came from that miracle. Everyone was in shock but they knew this was the perfect opportunity to talk about the ONE AND ONLY!!!! Lets never forget the GREAT JOY HE gave us when He gave us our miracle, our salvation, our forgiveness, our healing!!! Jesus has given me so much that there aren’t words to describe EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE!!!! THANK YOU JESUS FOR THIS JOY THAT NO ONE ELSE CAN GIVE ME BUT YOU!!!!

  72. 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to thy name, give glory.

  73. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

I know this is the obvious scripture in this passage to go with, but it rings so very true. We preach this scripture, but do we live it?? When we pass someone on the freeway or on the outside of a store, someone that is asking for money to get somewhere or asking for money for food or whatever else. . . Do we just give them money without thinking about anything else? Do we ignore them and leave them alone? Or do we offer to pray with them, or offer to bring them to church, or even just invite them to church? Or do we turn a cold shoulder or through quarters in their direction?? We preach this scripture, but do we live it???

  74. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Im not even gonna leave this out. Someone needs what you got folks, if you got the holy ghost then someone needs what you got. What happens in the next verse is a prime example not only that can be done in the natural but could be done in the spiritual side of things as well. God wants to raise some people up God wants to raise up someone thats been beat down broke busted in disgusted. He wants to pick up the broken and show the world that there is a god thats alive and well and he CAN do anything. I’m literally thinking about the people with addiction and mental illnesses today and thinking how God could take every bit of that away. he takes it away but because we were made with freedom of choice its our c choice to pick it back up or not. Choose Him today along with every other and you’ll see some bones live!

  75. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

As long as his spirit abides in us we have everything to give. Miracles, prayers, truth…..

  76. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

At times the things we feel we are in need of are secondary to our true needs. We become so fixated on the simple things we pass up the true things that God had in store. Let us be ready to receive God’s blessing beyond just our own.
