Acts 8

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

And there was great joy in that city.

But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

  1. 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

I feel that in this day and hour that we are living in, many will come to think that the power of God can be bought. I know that with the ever ready state of repentance and a clean heart the power of God will be available to those that are filled the Holy Ghost. But in this instance Simon thought he could by the power of God. Peter immediately could tell his heart was not right. When things that contradict the power and word of God, you have to shed these things in order to cleanse yourself. When we earnestly seek the face of God, we can have the power if we want it. We have to shed everything that will keep us occupied from the blessings of god.

When we build fresh altars or even repair the old ones, we must purge everything that keeps us from being in line with the word of God. We must not allow our fire on our altar to go out. We can not offer up strange fire either. We have to continually seek guidance from God to go and do what he wants us to do. It’s time the church to be bold among the naysayers and non believers. Living Jesus to be able to save Jesus.

  2. Whoa talk about revival. This is what we need to do go and spread the Good news that JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE AND WELL AND HE’S STILL WORKING. Let us not be afraid to speak it, let the Holy GHOST guide us. People will literally try to buy the Holy Ghost. But it can’t be bought. It’s a Gift and it gives us POWER. Power to cast out spirits, power to say things as if they were. Power to heal . The same power is here today that’s why the Holy GHOST is so beautiful and important. It’s literally JESUS in us .

  3. The story of Simon the wizard has something to say about his attitude as we see in verse 13 MSG says “Even Simon himself believed and was baptized. From that moment he was like Philip’s shadow, so fascinated with all the God-signs and miracles that he wouldn’t leave Philip’s side.” In a way he seemed to just want more and more. His motive may not have been right as to why he wanted more; but, if we could only have the same attitude. In the end he knew he didn’t want to be lost because of his greed and asked for both Peter and John to pray for him (showed a little wisdom). The story of the eunuch also shows how he just wanted more and more, as he invited Philip to join him, to give him a better understanding of what he was reading. He knew his wisdom only went so far and in the end he was so happy that he didn’t even mind that Philip disappeared as fast as he came, as the end of verse 39 says “….He had what he’d come for and went on down the road as happy as he could be.” Let us have the same attitude to want more and more of Jesus, having a teachable spirit.

Mark 4:25 AMP “For [a]whoever has [a teachable heart], to him more [understanding] will be given; and whoever does not have [a yearning for truth], even what he has will be taken away from him.”

James 1:5 CEV “If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won’t correct you for asking.”

Colossians 3:16 CEV “Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use all your wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.” LIVE-GIVE JESUS with wisdom!

  4. 26. And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

    29. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

    38. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

    39. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

God loved the eunuch enough to send a man of God all the way out into the desert to minister to him.
God loves all of us just as much – He sends men of God all the way out into our own deserts to minister to each one of us.

  5. Acts 8:12-17 [ amp] But when they believed the good news ( the Gospel) about the kingdom about the kingdom of God ( the Messiah) as Philip preached it, they were baptized, Both men and women.
Even Simon himself believed [ he adhered to, trusted in, and relied on the teaching of Philip] , and after being baptized devoted himself constantly to him. And seeing signs and miracles of great power which were being performed, he was utterly amazed.
[14] Now when the apostles ( special messengers) at Jerusalem heard that ( the country of] Samaria is had accepted and welcome the Word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.
[15[ And they came down and prayed for them that the Samaritians might receive the Holy Spirit.
[16] For He had not yet fallen upon any of them, But they had only been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
[17] Then ( the apostles) laid their hands on them one by one, and they received the Holy Spirit.
John 3:3 [ amp] Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again ( anew, from above) , He cannot ever see( know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.
Who report will you believe! I will believe in the report of the Lord! I love Jesus!

  6. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

You cannot buy GoDs power with money

  7. 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Thank you Jesus for the Holy Ghost The light of the world. The promise that was given to all Christians and to our children and to those that are a far off. God within us appreciate Holy name today Jesus.

  8. There is so much in this chapter that it’s hard to pick one thing from the moment Simon is described as a sorcerer, to his conversion which makes me believe his heart is as the true in his conversion, for he tries to buy the power of the Holy Ghost and when corrected by Peter, Simon seem to react with an attitude and I see it as disrespect.

Philip runs into the Ethiopia, an eunuch, but he was no ordinary eunuch for he was in charge of his queens treasury. It was not coincidence that the eunuch was reading that specific passage as God set up the opportunity for Philip to step in explain the scripture and baptize the eunuch in Jesus Name. The difference between Simon and the eunuch, Simon wants to purchase while the enthusiasm of the eunuch who couldn’t wait one more second and water to be baptized right away. Then our AWESOME GOD lives us with our mouth open in marvel as He teleports Philip to Azotus. Can you imagine the eunuch surprise as Philip just vanishes I’m thin air, or even Philip’s face as he just appears in Azotus!!! Our God is Mighty, Marvelous, and so AWESOME HE TAKES MY BREATH AWAY!!!! This chapter reminds me that our God may begin to feed us with baby food but days like today HE FEED US STEAK!!! EAT THE WORD!!!

  9. 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

Simon thought he could buy the Holy Spirit because his heart was not right in the side of God. The gift of the Holy Spirit will be given to those who repent of their sins and follow Jesus. It’s not for sale.

  10. Acts 8
9 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

    Bible Study in a Chariot
God led Philip right to where he needed to be.
He took notice I believe because he was being led by the Spirit of God that the eunuch was reading scripture. We must ask the Spirit of God to lead us daily. Philip ran to catch up with the chariot so he lead and assist the Enoch in what he was reading. One simple question asked . Hey friend are you understanding what you are reading ? Thus a Bible Study in a chariot led to a baptism all because of one reason . Led by the Spirit . Although we are limited at this time where ever we find ourself we must ask God to lead us everyday. Whether in the Post Office at the Park in line at a grocery store. If we will submit to the leading of the Spirit you will too be as Philip . Yes it will interrupt your daily routine. Yes lunch may be skipped . Yes you may have to forgo your own personal time of entertainment but if we are truly want to Live Jesus to Give Jesus we must allow the Spirit of God to lead us . Thankfully Philip did and understand fir the Eunuch and he was baptized immediately. We can’t wait til the doors are opened for the church there are some who will not come we must go to them before time runs out . We must have a pandemic of The Spirit of God .

The reply of the Eunuch “How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come

Whether a man or a woman God has called each of us to be led by His Spirit.
    Acts 1:8

  11. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8 And there was great joy in that city.

  12. 9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

for years whenever I’ve read this scripture it’s always baffled me as to why Peter rebuked him because he seemed to just what the Holy Ghost and want to be able to have the power to be able to give it to other people, but the scripture tells us that his heart was judged, and it was his heart that wasn’t right. This specific part of the story points out a characteristic about Simon the sorcerer that reveals more. Simon was going around the town telling everyone how great he was and that he was some important figure, psychologists explain this is usually an indication a much deeper issues. God is Not looking for those people who want to be great and feel the need to go around telling everyone that, God is after the heart of man that is looking for hope, wanting to give glory to God rather than himself. You don’t have to go around telling people what you doing, let God promote you and do the things through you

  13. 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

We must always be sensitive to the Spirit; ready to answer when He calls, ready to go when He speaks. You never know where He may lead you, but it could be a divine appointment just like Philip was lead to!

  14. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Act 8:9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

These are the folks to watch out for. The folks who are giants in their own eyes. Simon bewitched the people by the ways of his sorceries. I think we would all agree sorcery is wrong when we put it into biblical context. The sad part is most of us think it is cute when we see it on Disney.

  15. 3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

These verses caught my eye – under persecution they did not give up, they did not quit and run or hide. They may have scattered here and there but they continued preaching the word. It led to a great harvest of souls here in Samaria. So regardless what may be going on in the world around us, there are still souls who need to hear the new birth message. We must not be silenced!

  16. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

8 And there was great joy in that city.

9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

  17. Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.
Acts of the Apostles 8:30‭-‬31 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/act.8.30-31.NLT

Whoever said Bible studies are not important was greatly mistaken. God sent Philip to the eunuch just for a Bible study and he had the revelation of baptism in Jesus name. never underestimate the power of the Bible study!

  18. So in Acts Chapter 8 verse 7 it’s talking about how there was no one crying with a loud voice for Unclean Spirits and many of them were Possessed and many taken with palsies and that was lame but they healed in Jesus Name Okay so then in Verse 8 it was talking about great Joy in the City then in Verse 9 it a talking about how Simon a certain Man used Sorcery on the People of Samaria and Bewitched Them giving himself some great time then in verse 10 it’s talking about how Jesus is the Man of god and how he was give to the greatest and to the least of all people on Earth then in verse 11 it’s talking about how in a long time Simon bewitched the people with sorcerers then in verse 12 it’s talking about how Philip Believed that the Kingdom of God which is Jesus was Preaching Things about Men and Women Getting Baptized in the Kingdom of God

  19. God is Worthy, Jesus Christ is the King of Glory . He is the soul saviour for the world. He is the way , the Truth , the life . So that means we stand our ground by the way we live , think , and everything else . We let it be known no matter what is against us

But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went. Crowds listened intently to Philip because they were eager to hear his message and see the miraculous signs he did.
Acts of the Apostles 8:4‭, ‬6

  20. 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

the Bible says “when they believed Philip…” Let us take time today to pray for the people of this region to believe the the things concerning the kingdom and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.- Proverbs 11:30

This scripture tells us that a wise person wins souls. Let us turn out attention more on the souls of man than everything else around us. Philip preached the things concerning the kingdom and others were baptized. I wonder if we are missing it if we are so busy preaching the gospel of division, or the gospel of “Covid19” rather than “the things concerning the KINGDOM” Wisdom is the application of knowledge and many of us have gained great knowledge from the word of God. We also gain knowledge from Proverbs 11:30 so let us put everything else aside and be come the soul winning station God is needing in this hour. Let us speak life to each other and speak boldly to the people of this region.

  21. 4-5 Forced to leave home base, the followers of Jesus all became missionaries. Wherever they were scattered, they preached the Message about Jesus. Going down to a Samaritan city, Philip proclaimed the Message of the Messiah. MSG

There are many people in the world that are scared concerning this virus; respectfully so. There are also many who ignore the best practices being advised by experts in the field of disease study; not so respectfully so. Consider the Message version of the very familiar passage in Hebrews 10 concerning the forsaking of gathering together.

    Hebrews 10:19-25
So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body. So, let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.

All my life, I have been preached at about going to church and it being the only place that God will reveal Himself and perform miracles, signs and wonders. Our Pastor has taught us that is not true, and that God can move anywhere. He is God in our homes, vehicles, hospitals and beside our tables as we pray for a restaurant employee who shared a need.

So, while the church buildings are opening all over America this weekend, if we still feel our personal best interest is to remain sheltered in place until more of this disease is understood and new case’s and the death toll recedes; we can still be children of God in our homes.

Thank you Pastor for not pressuring or guilting your flock into discarding or discrediting their concerns and allowing each person and family to make the best decision for themselves and their families.

  22. ““Pray to the Lord for me,” Simon exclaimed, “that these terrible things you’ve said won’t happen to me!””
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Instead of actually humbling his heart before God, Simon asked Peter to pray he would be spared the consequences of his sin. This shows Simon felt a true conviction of the Holy Spirit, but was not yet willing to humble his own heart before God. Peter couldn’t humble Simon’s heart for him.

  23. 17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

  24. Saul was one of the witnesses, and he agreed completely with the killing of Stephen. A great wave of persecution began that day, sweeping over the church in Jerusalem; and all the believers except the apostles were scattered through the regions of Judea and Samaria. (Some devout men came and buried Stephen with great mourning.) But Saul was going everywhere to destroy the church. He went from house to house, dragging out both men and women to throw them into prison. But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went. Philip, for example, went to the city of Samaria and told the people there about the Messiah. Crowds listened intently to Philip because they were eager to hear his message and see the miraculous signs he did. Many evil spirits were cast out, screaming as they left their victims. And many who had been paralyzed or lame were healed. So there was great joy in that city.

That’s so sad people living theres lives then just killed

  25. To me, this chapter 8 is full of instruction, it shows us the order of things, and things get done the right Christian way.
It teaches us on recognition of trying the spirits,
The laying of hands, and what happens when it’s done,
Also the supernatural way on how God through His Spirit in the life of His servants, he can talk to us and tell us to do and obey His commands, for the purpose of others receiving the truth, also it tells us what to do after receiving and believing g the truth about Jesus Christ and baptism
. This chapter leaves me with a great taste in my soul.
And challeng me to search my heart and my walk with God
. Am I being used up to this day?
For the sakes of the gospel and others…..
    🙏🙏🙏🙏

  26. For some time a man named Simon had lived there and had amazed the people of Samaria. He practiced witchcraft and claimed to be somebody great. Everyone, rich and poor, crowded around him. They said, “This man is the power of God called ‘The Great Power.’ ” For a long time, Simon had used witchcraft to amaze the people, and they kept crowding around him. Peter said to him, “You and your money will both end up in hell if you think you can buy God’s gift! I can see that you are jealous and bound by your evil ways.”
    Acts 8:9‭-‬11‭, ‬20‭, ‬23 CEV

My first thought in this is to BEWARE of false prophets!
Simon never intended to work in the KINGDOM of GOD. He was into building his own kingdom. Though he ‘also’ believed and was baptized.
You cannot fool God, so don’t make a fool of yourself! You will harvest what you plant. If you follow your selfish desires, you will harvest destruction, but if you follow the Spirit, you will harvest eternal life.
    Galatians 6:7‭-‬8 CEV

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
    Mark 8:36 KJV

  27. “But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went. Philip, for example, went to the city of Samaria and told the people there about the Messiah.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:4-5‬ ‭NLT

Philip decides to join the movement and spreads the good news of Jesus and many men and women were baptized. We got to be like Philip and makeup in our minds that we are going to severe in the kingdom of God and tell every nation what Jesus has done for you and me and what he is going to do for his people.

  28. In this chapter Saul was finding the people of God, and throwing them in prison. I learned that Simon tried to pay Peter to receive the Holy Ghost. Peter said no,becaus e you cannot pay for the holy Ghost it has to be in your heart. So in this chaperr it basically is saying that no amount of money can get God`s power!!! HAVE GOD IN YOUR HEART POFW!!!!☺☺☺

  29. The relationship we have with God is important. We must be in tune to what he is saying. If there is someone that needs help we will be ready to tell them about Jesus and they must do to be saved. The holy ghost and baptism is still essential in order to go to heaven.

  30. 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

    1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

    Proverbs 17:16
Why should a fool have money in his hand to buy wisdom
    when he has no sense?

Money is today’s society is everything… without it your name is nothing but with it comes the “privilege” to mingle the highest of social networks!

I remember when I was a teen my grandfather was in the hospital in the last stages of lung cancer, his room was always overflowing with all of us to spend every last second we could with him. Two doors down from him on the same floor was a very well-know, wealthy man. He was dying too but he had very few family that came to see him. It was a very sad thing at an early age I realized you can have all the money in the world and the best of everything BUT if you don’t have Jesus and your family what do you really have? NOTHING! I am so thankful that I was born into this marvelous truth that cannot be bought or sold!

  31. Accordingly Philip, running up to him, heard [the man] reading the prophet Isaiah and asked, Do you really understand what you are reading? And he said, How is it possible for me to do so unless someone explains it to me and guides me [in the right way]? And he earnestly requested Philip to come up and sit beside him.

And the eunuch said to Philip, I beg of you, tell me about whom does the prophet say this, about himself or about someone else? Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this portion of Scripture he announced to him the glad tidings (Gospel) of Jesus and about Him. And as they continued along on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch exclaimed, See, [here is] water! What is to hinder my being baptized? And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart [if you have a conviction, full of joyful trust, that Jesus is the Messiah and accept Him as the Author of your salvation in the kingdom of God, giving Him your obedience, then] you may. And he replied, I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he ordered that the chariot be stopped; and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and [Philip] baptized him. (‭Acts‬ ‭8‬:‭30-31, 34-38‬ AMP)

The importance of a bible study teacher. Teaching about the bible is very rewarding but it should be part of every Christians lifestyle. There should be something within you that wants to share the truth. Once our iniquities have been forgiven and the joy of our Salvation is restored then we will teach transgressors and they will turn to God.

Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You. (‭Psalm‬ ‭51‬:‭9-13‬ AMP)

  32. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
WHAT COMES OUT WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Philip opened his mouth and JESUS came out. What a Kingdom concept. There are 2 notable points in this passage that reveal to us that the WORD of GOD was in the heart of Philip.

    1. Philip preached JESUS from the Old Testament scripture that the Ethiopian eunuch was reading.

Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

    2. Philip preached JESUS Name baptism. When Philip opened his mouth JESUS Name baptism was the message of JESUS that he preached to a stranger, someone he had never met before.

Evidence: 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Why would the eunuch ask to be baptized if he had never heard the command to be baptized in JESUS Name.

    3. Philip understood his Evangelistic Apostolic Mission. Philip was led by GOD to a man of significant influence to preach JESUS and the man was baptized in the Name of JESUS revealing the importance of the message.

  33. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

In the midst of death and persecution Philip stood up in boldness and strength to preach the word of God who will stand up with boldness and preach the word in the midst of death and persecution? Is there any Philips willing to stand up and stand out in our generation?

  34. “As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:3-4‬ ‭KJV

I love that these two scriptures are placed together. We see that Saul, the worst of the worst for persecuting the church, is going on wreaking havoc BUT that still didn’t stop the people of God. They stood firm on their foundation and preached EVERYWHERE they went. Yes, Stephen, a man full of faith and power, had just died and the church mourned for him but that still did not stop them from being diligent in their work for the Lord.

I thank God for being our comforter and our peace in the time of trouble. I pray we stand firm on His Word fully persuaded that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

    Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.

This is my story, this is my song,
    praising my Savior all the day long;
this is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.

  35. I learned that Phillips went to the places that God first he wait to the
Sorcerer Kingdom he was giving people the holy Ghost the sorcerer tried to pay him but Philip didn’t what the money you don’t half to pay someone to receive the holy Ghost then he went to a another kingdom then he saw someone reading the Bible then he went over there then Philip said what are you reading he said I don’t no so Philip explained it then they went to a Lake then Phillips bathtized him in the name of Jesus.

  36. Acts 8:14-17 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost : (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they receive the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 28:19,20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We must share the Word of God and as many souls come to the POFW they will receive and get baptized and receive the Holy Ghost!

  37. 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

Because of Philips obedience to hear the voice of God, he was taken out of the city which was experiencing great revival, to show a eunuch who was searching for God the plan of salvation.

The love of God for one soul searching for Him is so great that He may direct us off the beaten path to minister to a need. Will we hear, will we listen to that voice? Are there too many voices that we are listening to that when that still small voice speaks to us, we don’t hear it?

It’s time to clear the clutter from our minds, and open our spirits so that God can use us to reach those that hungry and searching for Him.

  38. 20But Peter replied, “May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought! 21You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God. 22Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts, 23for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.”24“Pray to the Lord for me,” Simon exclaimed, “that these terrible things you’ve said won’t happen to me!”

Old habits are hard to let go. Simon believed, but was still a child in Christ. It takes time to mature as a Christian. Simon, still idol money more over Christ. Simon realized his error, and asked for prayer and guidance from Peter. Read the Word, praise and pray to grow mature in the Word.

  39. 21. Thou hast neither part nor in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 22. Repent therefore of this the wickedness, and pray God, it perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of inquiry.

  40. Acts 8:4-5, 25, 35,40
    4) Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where PREACHING the word.
    5) Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and PREACHED Christ unto them.

    25) And they (Peter and John), when they had testified and PREACHED the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and PREACHED the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

    35) Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and PREACHED unto him Jesus.

    40) But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he PREACHED in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

I believe there is a theme going on here, PREACH!
Those who were scattered, Philip, and Peter and John all PREACHED the word, PREACHED Christ, PREACHED the word of the Lord, PREACHED the gospel, PREACHED Jesus.

We too, as a Holy Ghost filled child of God, are commissioned to “GO ye into all the world, and PREACH the gospel to every creature.” (St. Mark 16:15)

    GO PREACH!
    LIVE JESUS – GIVE JESUS

  41. 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

We should always have a great passion to be like the apostles In the Bible and to spend god’s word to the lost and dying throughout this wicked world, god has commissioned us to be servants and workers for his kingdom and we should always be obedient and willing to bring glory to him and his kingdom no matter what.

  42. ““Pray to the Lord for me,” Simon exclaimed, “that these terrible things you’ve said won’t happen to me!” After testifying and preaching the word of the Lord in Samaria, Peter and John returned to Jerusalem. And they stopped in many Samaritan villages along the way to preach the Good News.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:24-25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Pastor can’t believe for you, nor can he repent for you. Pastor can pray for you, but you better also pray for yourself – just as Peter told Simon to do.

  43. I Love To Worship The Lord
    Miracles (6-7)
The miracles that marked the ministry of Jesus continued in the early days of the church as signs authenticating those who bore the Gospel message as Gods spokesmen . As Acts progesses the role of the miraculous diminishes and the epistles nowhere suggest that Christian leaders or missionaries continued to perform them.

  44. 13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

Simon did witchcraft and sorcery but when he heard the apostles preach and teach he got baptized so it doesn’t matter what you’ve done in the past you can still be saved

  45. ‘Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.” Acts 7:33

There has to be reference to the Holy Place. We should respect it with utmost respect! Yet, if the Holy Spirit is within us, we should treat ourselves with utmost respect as well. For we are one with Jesus!

If we wouldn’t take Jesus to some of the places we go to, why are we going there?
If we would eat or drink this with Jesus, why are we partaking in this?

If God asked Moses to take off his shoes for the burning bush, would He not wish the same if not more respect to the children He loves and died for?

John 10:27-28 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

We are children of God, let His voice ask us “please don’t go there” or “please don’t partake of that”. Even answer His call to prayer, and communicate with Him in the Word!

  46. Acts 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, becasue thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

Simon saw the laying on hands from the apostles, that people were receiving the Holy Ghost. He wanted the gifts and tried to pay for it. He was basically told he can’t buy his way to God. He must repent and have his heart in the right direction for God. This is the way of our world now, trying to BUY everything.

Philip kept preaching in all of the turmoil. He obviously had trust in God and kept on trying to help people. He was asked by God to go to the eunuch. Philip talked about the gospel of Jesus and the enuch saw water and was baptized! What a magnificent time!

  47. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

  48. 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

If we just look around this world we might say that no, that people do not want anything to do with God. But on the contrary, there are those that right now are so hungry for God and the things if the Kingdom and to understand His Word. They may at this time be reading trying to find some answers. They are out there and we must be in tune with the Spirit of God that we can hear clearly and be led. Devine appointments can be set up all one as a Christian needs to be available and seek God to be ready when He speaks to you. If you pray and ask the Lord will use you and lead you to them that are hungry.

  49. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
We must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ

  50. 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

I believe that just as Philip went down to the city of Samaria, to preach Christ. There is a new generation ready to go around the City’s around us, and preach Christ to does City’s.

  51. Hechos 8:29-31

  52. Acts 8:1-8 1 And Saul approved of their killing him. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. 2Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. 3But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison. 4Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. 5Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. 6When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. 7For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. 8So there was great joy in that city
As I read here I come to remember in my walk with the Lord, that God uses the persecution and suffering of His people to spread the truth and bless this world. He rules over the sufferings of the church, His people and causes them to spread spiritual power and the joy of faith. God makes persecution serve the unstoppable mission of the church……. your mission, your ministry. In these times, and especially now, we must try to understand instead of judging too quickly, because these present setbacks and defeats are only temporary, and I believe if we could just see things with the eyes of God, then we could see that He is positioning us as for greater things. Have joy our day is coming!!

  53. 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

EVERYWHERE! At this moment the church had their back against the wall but God made a way! The church in a time of crisis said we are gonna go preach at every place, person, and city! I realize I do not have it figured out, but I know when my back is against the wall I just need to preach in my darkness! Jesus is standing in the middle moving mountains and lighting up the darkness! Jesus have your way! I need your grace and healing power in my life! I need your delivering power!

  54. 12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

The world of God is powerful it changed many people and cast wicked spirit out of people.

  55. “saying, “Give me this authority and power too, so that anyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” But Peter said to him, “May your money be destroyed along with you, because you thought you could buy the [free] gift of God with money! You have no part or share in this matter, because your heart (motive, purpose) is not right before God. So repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, this thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are provoked by bitterness and bound by sin.””
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:19-23‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Gods gifts can’t be bought. Be careful that we are serving god for his purpose and not to be seen. You wonder why you haven’t been elevated or called to doing something it’s because god knows tour heart is not in it. Make sure that when we are serving god we are doing it with our whole heart and not because we want recognition!

  56. 11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

The word that the Lord gave to Philip to preach was wonderful, so many of the people listened and believed and men and women got baptized! The Lord can use you in so many ways, to help spread his word help bring people get saved. The word of the Lord is so strong and wonderful. Let the Lord use you, listen for his voice, follow his commandments, obey his word.Put all your faith and trust in him for the Lord won’t ever let you down.

  57. 22 Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.

23 For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.”

    Acts 8:22‭-‬23 NIV
    https://bible.com/bible/111/act.8.22-23.NIV

We should always repent and ask God for forgiveness. Admit what we did wrong even if we don’t realize it still ask God for forgiveness. No one is perfect, we are not perfect but, we should always ask for forgiveness.
    LIVE GIVE JESUS!

  58. “As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?”

He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:36, 38‬ ‭NLT‬‬

These Scriptures means that, After Philip preached The Word Of God to The Eunuch He was determined to Repent Of His sins and to be Baptized In The Name Of Jesus And later received The Gift Of The Holy Ghost

  59. 18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,
19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

Just like Simon many attempt to deceive others of strange powers and “claiming” to be from God! We must be careful. Be on guard and always seek God first. The enemy is trying so hard to think he has power, and make people think that they too can have power like God and solve peoples problems and whatsoever. It’s time for us to rise up and crush the lies of satan and bring freedom to those who are captive and let them know about Jesus and be filled with the Holy Ghost. There’s NO amount of money that can purchase God’s power!! But you can obtain his Holy Spirit. Repent and be baptized in The name of Jesus and serve Jesus wholeheartedly and you shall receive His power = Holy Ghost!

  60. This Jesus Name water baptism will make you clean, being born again in Jesus NAME will make you pure and forgiveness will allow you to never thirst again for the things of this world.

And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission s of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    Acts 8:37-39 KJV
[37] And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. [38] And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. [39] And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

    John 4:14 (KJV)
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
    John 6:35 (KJV)
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

  61. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

  62. v4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word.

God has ways of turning negative situations into opportunities with positive conclusions.
The scattering actually became a means of spreading the gospel.

Which reminded me of tonight’s title
” The Devil Has Us Right Where God Wants Us”
    Thank you Brother Nick Mahaney

  63. But Saul was going everywhere to destroy the church. He went from house to house, dragging out both men and women to throw them into prison. But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went.
Acts of the Apostles 8:3‭-‬4 NLT

It doesn’t matter what the enemy does to stop the church. The church will always continue to spread the gospel because His Word will always touch somebody.

  64. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

This is God moving your to the next level. There is no denying when God puts his hand on something. You look back an just ask yourself, “How did I get here? “When I look back on the last 10 years I can say that about my life….” How did I get here?” The only part I can take credit for is never giving up, God did they rest.

  65. “And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:1, 3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is this what is to be said of POFW? Have we been scattered abroad so that we can teach the word? Wow Jesus, what if this set back is just a set up in disguise?

  66. Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Those that thirst for it. Let them come. They will find a way. One way or another. The truth does what it does. And people draw closer to it.

  67. 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

Open your mouth, teach preach minister to everyone and anyone that wants to learn never deny those who want truth. Its crucial today because the word is being overlooked its being interrupted and drowned out by ungodly principles, standers, morals…. Inequity sickness addiction depression grief poverty… The list goes on and on its over taken conversation it has filled spirits with hopelessness and surrounds cities and breaks down the community. We need to flood ears with truth and deny none who seek it.

  68. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

Repentance is the first step to changing your life and relationship with the lord, I am so thankful to be able to announce to the lord my sins, and to ask him for his grace and mercy to forgive me my trespasses. I am thankful that he lets me realize my sins and that he allows me to have the opportunity to apologize for my sin and be given a chance to correct the many sins I commit. For it is only through his grace and mercy that any of us have a chance to correct our past deeds. We all make mistakes, no one is perfect, no not one. But through recognizing our sins, fessing up to them and changing our lives we are able to get back to the right way, and fix our sinful lives. Praise Jesus for everything, for in him everything is possible. Hallelujahs to our almighty God and savior.

  69. “Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:17-20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The anointing Peter and and John had is what Simon wanted, so much so he offered to pay for it. Little did he know that you cant buy the ability to be used by God but work for it by seeking after him. No matter how faithful you are in your tithes, how big of offerings you give, how much you help the needy, or how many Sunday school lessons you teach you cannot “buy” your way into God’s anointing. You have to truly seek him with everything that is in you, no amount of good deeds alone will do the trick.

  70. “So beginning with this same Scripture, Philip told him the Good News about Jesus. As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?”

He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:35-36, 38‬ ‭NLT‬

This is what God has called us to do.
We are called to reach the lost and tell them the good news of Jesus. Let us pray that Jesus leads us to souls that are hungry for the things of God and that He may use us to lead them to the light of salvation.

  71. 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

And just to know all this happening and the Holy Ghost hadn’t even Fallen

  72. “But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went.”(‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8:4:NLT)

The believers didn’t let the scattering keep them off focus but most of all they wanted to be apart of what God was doing. When wanting to be apart of what Gods doing you just have to take a big leap of faith and and trust in the Lord knowing that he’s your support. When God says that he has your back trust him because he never lies and never will.

  73. Acts 8:12
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Phillip used some wisdom with this whole thing and without the holy ghost i do nt think anything wouldve happened. Phillip had knowledge and phillip had testimony and no one could take this testimony but all could question his knowledge but when he put the two together there was revival. You see theres revival in Wisdom and we have to take the knowledge and the testimony we have and apply it to our witnessing and to our vocabulary. Everything we talk about has to exalt Christ in some sort of way. Be a walking talking testimony and share this gospel and watch the holy ghost pour out on people.

  74. 22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

When someone notices that you have resentment or are bitter, means we need to take a step back and evaluate ourselves. For when people perceive your bitterness and iniquity, it is a moment of clarity that you need to repent!! “Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God. . . For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness. . . “

  75. 30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

Thank God he has put an awesome man of God in my life to help me understand some things. Oh that I could be more like Jesus and learn not to worry when things come against me, and let the Lord fight my battles and me keep my mouth closed. What a wonderful example we have. Thank you Jesus
