1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:
24 But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.
25 Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.
27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
29 And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
30 Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
32 And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.
39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.
42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.

15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
I love that even when people think the worst of someone that God sees the good in them. Saul was a murderer and yet God redeemed him, changed him and put him to work. It’s no accident that Saul was blind before he could see. We are all blind to the lord when we are living in the world, a world of sin. But once Saul trusted the Lord, he was no longer blind but could see. I too was blind and could not see, but once I turned my life over to the Lord, I began to see, I began to understand slowly, a little bit at a time but, each day with each prayer, each scripture that I read I began to get stronger, just like Saul did when he did receive meat. We all become stronger when we eat the word, and the more I eat, the more I want to eat and have the word in me. Jesus relates stories like Saul’s to us so that we may see that even a sinner like us, we can be redeemed, that we all have a chance as long as we take it. Through his grace and mercy, he will wash away our sins and allow us to be followers and leaders in his name. Hallelujah, Praise Jesus, for he is the Messiah and the one and only true God. Thank you Jesus for being patient with me, I am thankful that you didn’t give up on me.

God showed Saul great mercy, when all the people wanted to kill him. This is just another example of God’s grace and mercy!
Hebrews 4:16
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
In this time of unrest, we should share the message of salvation to all who will hear. Thank you Lord for your unending love!

In the book of Acts there’s so many miracles, signs and wonders. Saul was about ready to persecute more Christians but JESUS had other plans for saul. One thing I like about this text is that it literally shows that Jesus can turn a evil man who hates Christians into a Godly man who becomes a Christian. JESUS can do anything and nothing is impossible.
What a turnaround, as we read the story of the blinding of Saul and how God turned his life completely around as he picked him as his personal representative to non-Jews and kings and Jews. God can use any one at any time or stage of their lives. We must be willing to help as Barnabas and embrace every new believer as we grow in Christ together. Let us show our commitment as we LIVE-GIVE JESUS!

Sometimes we’re so stubborn that we have to be blinded and brought to our knees before our eyes can be truly opened.
PREACH IT SISTA
Acts 9: 17-18 [ amp] So Ananias left and went into the house. And he laid his hands on Saul and said ,
Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, Who appeared to you along the way by which you came here, has sent me that you may recover your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
[18] And instantly something like scales fell from
[ Saul’s] eyes, and he recovered his sight. Then he arose and was baptized.
First of all Ananias did what God told him what to do. If we would listen to God and follow his instructions things could be easier on us.
Some people are listening to God voice! And some are not! Our God is a miracle worker , promise keeper, That is who you are! There hope for everyone!
Hebrews 13:8 [ amp] Jesus Christ( The Messiah) is
[ always ] the same, yesterday, today, [ yes] and forever ( to the ages).
As the 40 days of fire continue there is going to be alot of signs, wonders, and miracles happening! Give God the glory and honer.

The more I look into this lesson about Saul’s conversion the more I have and understanding of how important every person’s role is no matter how big or small. Ananias was probably scared out of his mind to go approach Saul an offer to pray for him that he would receive the Holy Ghost, but he follow God and witnessed to Saul and saw him converted to Paul. God had not shown anyone else to reach out to so, he could have chosen Peter or any of the other disciples who are out there doing these mighty things but he chose someone him we had not heard about until then. Sometimes God doesn’t called you to some big mission field, maybe he hasn’t called you to pastor a mega church, but he has called you to just be a witness to anyone he sends to you because he trusts that you will be the perfect person. Let’s trust God

This is the greatest example of a conversion in the kingdom of God. How many that are doing evil against the kingdom of God , but when they received the truth, they are changed from wickedness to a powerful vessel for the use of God. God had told Ananias that Saul was going to be a chosen vessel for his kingdom.
No matter how many God beings in the harvest, we have to be willing to reach out to them in love and not being judgmental toward them. God can do things in people that man can not. So just because the person may have a dark past doesn’t mean that God has not brought them out of the darkness into his marvelous light. We have the a billy to be an example to them that are called by God. Living that example of Jesus to help guide them that are called unto us to us to give them Jesus.
I love the Bible! This is a great lesson. We can always turn to God no matter what we have done. We are God’s people and he wishes to save all of us he can. I love the word!
Afterward he ate some food and regained his strength. Saul stayed with the believers in Damascus for a few days. And immediately he began preaching about Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is indeed the Son of God!”

Why is this so hard for some people to believe? That a life can be turned around completely in an instant? I remember the first time I experienced the power of the Holy Ghost. My life was FOREVER changed. I was redeemed, set free, eyes open, I could see. I don’t remember a lot that morning heading to the Church for the first time, but I remember leaving with a smile on my face, the heaviness of sin and death off of me, my hair wet from baptism. The sun was shining. It was the first day on the rest of my life. I was truly BORN AGAIN.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
But the Lord said to him, Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of Mine to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the descendants of Israel; (Acts 9:15 AMP)
I’m thankful for being chosen. Gods knows our end from our beginning. It doesn’t matter if we have a past when we come to him. He knew where I would fail him and yet he chose me anyway. He saw the best in me.
For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:14 AMP)
iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Even the great Apostle Paul was baptized and received the Holy Ghost.
“…that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
Act 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.”
No one is exempt from the very basics of our Christian faith. The Lord through the prophet Ananias led Saul through the water and Spirit. This man Saul would later become Paul and he would lead the Gentiles to world wide repentance, baptism, and also Holy Ghost baptism. As we pray our 10 to win, let us remember that if God can save Saul, God can save anyone.
So in Acts Chapter 9 verse 15 it’s talking about how the Gentilies bear the name before the Kings and the Children of Israel then in Verse 16 it’s talking about how people are going to suffer for Great Things in my name sake then in verse 17 it’s talking about how Ananias put his hands around her Brother Saul so that he could receive thy sight and be filled with the holy ghost

To kick against the pricks is an old idiom that means to struggle against your own fate. Jesus is telling Saul that his fate was to serve Him not to go against Him. Saul/Paul destiny was written by no other than Jesus Christ Himself and the fact that his conviction in the Judaism law was so strong that he persecuted the Christians made Saul even a stronger Christian because if he could convert imagine the rest. It’s like when we hear a testimony of someone we have known for a long time and we knew how bad they were and when we see that transformation that Jesus has done our heart feels like if He did it for them, He can do it for me!!! Hallelujah!!!! God uses one of the enemies of Christianity to multiply His church. God is so Good!!!
40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. KJV
40 Peter put the widows all out of the room. He knelt and prayed. Then he spoke directly to the body: “Tabitha, get up.” MSG
Our words have great influence in the lives of those around us and spoken blessings can bring hope and encouragement. A spoken blessing does good to those who hear it. When the Lord puts a desire in our heart to bless someone, be attentive to the needs they may be experiencing. As we make ourselves available to intercede for others, the Lord will open our spiritual eyes and ears to comprehend what He wants to accomplish in their lives. Speak God’s blessing to them, from His Word. Let’s put our confidence in God, who will complete these blessings according to His will.

Miracles, signs and wonders. Thank you Jesus. Pray for the lost souls that they will come to the father who is our comforter and strength. Give out church and ways to connect cards wherever you go. Outreach. There will be a great revival and harvest. I believe it in Jesus name

Many around us are rooted deeply in tradition of their church and are blind to this truth. Many in my family are good Christians and follow those traditions and I pray daily for them and for God to remove the scales from their eyes so they can receive and believe the apostolic doctrine! I pray that they not only receive it but Live it and Give it! Immediately Saul began to teach this doctrine after spending some days with the apostles in Damascus

The man Saul which killed Christians became a disciple of God. God can use anyone and anything to reach the lost for his glory.

Acts 18:28 tell us For He mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
Acts Chapter 9.
In Acts Chapter 9, the story of Saul’s conversion is the main focus. We are told that while he was journeying near Damascus, the Lord spoke to him. A bright light came from the skies and those who were accompanying Saul were overwhelmed as they could hear a voice, but they could not see who was speaking …
Acts. 9. [1] And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, [2] And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers. So he went to the high priest. He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. He wanted to bring them—both men and women—back to Jerusalem in chains. As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” The men with Saul stood speechless, for they heard the sound of someone’s voice but saw no one! Saul picked himself up off the ground, but when he opened his eyes he was blind. So his companions led him by the hand to Damascus. He remained there blind for three days and did not eat or drink. Now there was a believer in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, calling, “Ananias!” “Yes, Lord!” he replied. The Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. When you get there, ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying to me right now. I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying hands on him so he can see again.” “But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem! And he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest everyone who calls upon your name.” But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel. And I will show him how much he must suffer for my name’s sake.” So Ananias went and found Saul. He laid his hands on him and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me so that you might regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized.
Acts of the Apostles 9:17
Saul persecuting Jesus and putting Believers in chains … Now this man mite be evil but he saw 👀 Jesus . Then he was blanded… See some things can happen with out knowing!!

But Lord !
Ananias had to be willing to go. He was sensitive enough to hear the voice of God try he questioned due to the circumstances he thought he might encounter. Saul already had been told by God that s man named Ananias was coming . What if Ananias had refused to follow through with what God had spoken to him ? Would God’s purpose still been fulfilled for Saul ? Some say yes some may say no .
Would God had to tell Saul sorry Saul I couldn’t convince Ananias that he wasn’t going to be killed like the others Saul had ordered to be killed ? We must truly believe and know the voice of God . Thankfully God convinced Ananias all would be well…How many times have we heard the voice of God and said But Lord ? This is why we must daily walk in the Spirit every morning making preparation through the Word through prayer to be able to be sensitive enough to hear the voice of God and be willing to be submissive and obedient to speak with boldness and authority that all fear disappears.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
Even though Saul was persecuting the Christians Jesus still chose him to do His work. The scales were removed from his eyes and he was able to see the truth truth The scales were removed from his eyes and he was able to see the Truth.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
No matter how much people reject, deny, or claim hatred for the Word of God and the people of God, deep down there is a hunger. Saul couldn’t be a more perfect example of that. We live in a world of hungry souls searching for truth, for hope, for relationship. Let’s not reject them before they come, but instead be prepared and sensitive to their needs. Revival is here!

Commitment
20-21 And oh, my dear Timothy, guard the treasure you were given! Guard it with your life. Avoid the talk-show religion and the practiced confusion of the so-called experts. People caught up in a lot of talk can miss the whole point of faith.
Overwhelming grace keep you!
Keep that which is committed to thy trust. Is what King James translation says.
God has input His power within us . He has put it in our trust . How will I use it . Will I guard it to be used for His glory ? I pray so . Not for any personal gain with but that for the glory of God . I must truly Live Jesus so that I may Give Jesus.

Can you remember that feeling when for the first time you have receive life changing news. When your eyes were open to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and you knew that it was something better out there, Life changing moment indeed.

Ok, Paul’s goal was to get rid of “ these” followers of Christ, he had a plan, and of course as smart as he was, he was going to do it the right way.
So he took his time and went to the priest and got the permission…… we know the rest)
Within Paul, ( in his heart) there was hatred, anger, rage
And Frustration….. because he already had a made up mind
and he was going to go for it.
Saul,Saul why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick[repeatedly] agains the goads[ offering pointless resistance].
Paul’s knowledge, ideas, believes, and theology was already Stablished in his heart and mind.
… Anyways on Acts 9:3 says: and as he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven.
👉 suddenly, any time.. remember he was heading to Damascus. But he didn’t make it. Right before he made there, something happened that changed his life. Forever

God is a redeemer and a healer, where there is a tradgic time or a disgusting consequence God sees the good in them, they just have to show it.

Saul has all P’s going for him. He goes from someone who PERSECUTED the church. To becoming a man of PRAYER. Now a PREACHER. Thank the LORD He has placed a calling on my life. He is no respecter of PERSONS!
For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord , ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

9 Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers.[a] So he went to the high priest. 2 He requested letters addressed to the synagogues in Damascus, asking for their cooperation in the arrest of any followers of the Way he found there. Sometimes when talking to people about salvation, at times people are convinced that their sins are so great that there is no hope of them ever getting saved. I am immediately reminded of Saul’s story. With all Saul’s wickedness, God still had a plan to use the man for His glory and after a major experience on the road to Damascus, Saul was converted. This murderer and enemy of God’s people got saved. Saul was a changed man! It would be very difficult to remain the same after going through what Saul went through. Literally seeing the light from heaven. I mean just looking at the sun burns your eyes. Now how much more would it hurt to see the light from heaven? We can take this into our own lives and share it with those who have not yet seen the light. Today as we help guide others they, might not literally see the light from heaven but they can experience it in their own lives as we did. There are many things to point out and remember in this story but to me the strongest two are, if God forgave, saved, and used this man, certainly God can and will forgive anything I or you have done. So no matter who we are or what we have done, God can still forgive and use us. And last, when get to know the Light our lives we are no longer the same. So we should always remember to let the light shine in us and through us so that others may see the light as well.
8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
Three days. He went three days without sight, without eating or drinking. It was in those three days that he was dying to himself so that He could receive resurrection life from Jesus!
As we are spending 40 days denying ourselves of the things we want, Jesus is filling us with the things we need!
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
The man who had been feared of all because of his hatred for the Apostles now has become one of them. This just goes to show all of us that no one is a hopeless case. Jesus can turn any life around regardless of the sins they have done.
And such were some of us …..
I have heard it said many times that the worst sinners make the best christian leaders. Why – because they have the tenacity of the “never give up” mentality and “do it with all you have got in you” mentality. These type individuals are the ones that Jesus can count on the most because the same bull dog thinking they used as rebels against God is now turned around and using it for God.
Don’t ever count anyone out of becoming what Jesus would have them to be, give them the benefit of the doubt and watch God transform their lives into something beautiful before Him.

I pray that our eyes are opened to all that JESUS has given us to help us understand HIS plan for the salvation of man. Souls are saved when there is a mutual agreement, respect and love or sacrifice. The plan or New Birth experience is consistent with the disciples throughout. The message JESUS presented to Nicademas in John 3 is repeated throughout the book of Acts. We find it here again with the GOD called Apostle.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Paul shares the testimony of his own conversion from Saul to Paul.
Born of Water and Spirit is more than simply accepting the LORD as personal savior, as if we are doing him a favor. Actually it is the opposite, JESUS accepts our REPENTANCE and gives us favor by forgiving those sins. The disciples explained this in Acts 2:
Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

We witness here again with the testimony of the apostle Paul in Acts 22 where he recounts what occurred in Acts 9. He received the Holy Ghost in verse 17 and was Baptized in JESUS Name in verse 18 of chapter 9.
Acts 22:10 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.
11 And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.
14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
We learn from the words of his testimony that Paul was indeed Baptized in the Name of the Lord which is JESUS and that he did receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Whenever god gets tired of his people be treated wrongly god will always step in and take action for his people, in this case it was changing the harden heart of a man who was determined to do anything to get rid of god’s people but instead he found healing on the road to Damascus instead of hurt or pain. There are people in this world who are like Saul and all they know is pain and hurt and have harden their hearts to god but he has put us here to reach out to them and to help lead them to back to the one who will take their pain and turn it into love.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
They were held speechless. Just as we hear the voice of the Lord in service through tongues and interpretation and we are sometimes held speechless, this was the moment in which these men were speechless for they had heard a voice but not seen any man. The moment of change is not when you hear the voice without seeing a being. . . The moment of change comes after the fact and how you process the voice and words you heard spoken. What will you do with the words God has spoken unto you today? Whether it be through a person, a loud audible voice or a message or passage of writing; how will you respond??

Saul asked the question with a “me”: “Lord, what do You want me to do?” We often are quite interested in what God wants others to do. But the surrendered heart asks, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”

We have to stay fully committed to serving Jesus, because He will use us in situations that are out of our comfort zone. To the world, Ananias’ decision to follow Jesus instruction and go to Paul would seem ludicrous. Saul’s reputation was already known by many, he was on the hunt for those who were teaching and preaching in Jesus name and the law was backing him up 100%. But God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We can’t let our fear over power His will. The Bible shows us numerous times that God will never fail nor forsake us, so we must tuck that word in our hearts and stay committed.
I thank God for being faithful and true to His word. I pray we heed God’s instructions and remember His promises!
42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
One of the things that so odd about this passage is that Peter, a Jew, and prob the most chief disciple, would stay at someone like Simon the tanners house.
Tanners in the old days, would deal with dead carcasses all day. This by Jews law would make them and everyone near them spiritually unclean.
See what we don’t know is that God was setting Peter up to go against his own biases. His understanding about who Jesus would save was exclusively for Israel.

In times of trouble, we too would be begging for mercy from the enemy. Jesus humbled himself, to ask the question “why are you persecuting me?” to a carnal man. If Jesus can humble himself, how much more should we humble ourselves and ask Jesus for mercy and forgiveness. Yes, humble yourself to get on your knees and reach out to Jesus.

Trust faith and commitment come in to play. He had heard things about Paul that were unsettling, but when God tells you to do something you do it. We do out reach in not so good neighborhoods, why because God tells us to go in to these naighborhoods to save souls and to teach others truth. Its a risk but as long as God is our forunner then we lean on him and trust that he knows what he’s doing.

“Followers Of The Way”
Jesus said in St. John 14:6, “I am the WAY, the truth, and the life:…”
Saul was persecuting the church, and now he is headed to Damascus to arrest people who were “Followers Of The Way” Followers Of JESUS, and he wanted to bring them back to Jerusalem in chains.
Perhaps this is why JESUS asked Saul, “Why are you persecuting ME?”
Saul asked Him, “Who are you, Lord?” JESUS said, “I am JESUS (I am the WAY) the one you are persecuting.
We must remember as a “Follower Of The Way” Follower of JESUS, that when we are testifying and witnessing for JESUS, we may fell persecuted, rejected, or despised at times, BUT remember, it’s really not us they are persecuting, rejecting or despising, it’s JESUS.
JESUS said in St. Luke 10:16, “He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.”
Also, in 1 Thess. 4:8 it says, “He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God,…”

He was blinded that he may see the error of his ways and see who God really was. The. He spoke boldly even in the middle of adversity because of his past. Sauls past wring did not stop him from doing the will of God even though he persecuted Christians. We must be just as bold in our walk with God and in telling others about Jesus.
In this chapter Saul was struck down by light by God, and was blinded. God wanted him to go to Damascus to meet a man named Ananias. Ananias healed Saul from being blind. At first everyone thought that Saul was out to get them but Barnabus was not afaid and helped him out. We can apply this chapter to our lives by doing what God asks us to do by all means. We must trust in the Lord with all of our hearts!!!💖💖💖
No matter our past, when God wants to use you and you want to be used by God, it can happen. We can only go as far as we’re willing to go. Don’t allow the things around you to stop you. Allow the power of Holy Ghost to push you forward.

They were watching for him day and night at the city gate so they could murder him, but Saul was told about their plot. So during the night, some of the other believers lowered him in a large basket through an opening in the city wall.

Sometimes you think your doing right but really in Gods eyes you are doing wrong we need to understand Gods word so we don’t get confused in what he says

It is a great honor to be a Child of God! Being a child of the one true King is great and you get what you ask for if you need healing he will give you healing! But as this scripture says their will be things we have to suffer for his names sake, because not everyone love Jesus the way his people do.

Ananias put his hands on Saul after 3 days of being blind and scales fell from his eyes. He received sight and was filled with the Holy ghost. Saul then was blessed by God and believed in Jesus Christ. He wanted to join the disciples but people were leary of Saul at first due to what he had done to them.
Miracles were being done by Peter as he healed Aeneas thru the name of Jesus Christ. He had been bed ridden for eight years and was healed. Also Peter prayed for Tabitha whom had died, and she was brought back to life. These miracles helped many people to believe in our Lord Jesus. We never know what God has planned for us. We must listen and trust in our Lord Jesus.

At all times we must be ready and prepared to be used or chosen as a tool by God for his Will. When being chosen by God and suffering for his Name we all have to carry cross of our own and maintain and protect it with our life.

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Make sure that when god asks you to do something that you do it regardless of if you are confused or if you don’t want to do it. It may feel uncomfortable but as long as you are being submissive and obeying god you will reap the benefits.

We should pray that the spiritual scales fall off from people’s eyes that they can see the light of the gospel and recieve the good news of salvation.

The early church exploded in growth and expansion. God has opened the gospel to the whole world because of His great love.
Saul was a mean person.God changed his heart and he became a believer. God can change evil to good.

“But Peter asked them all to leave the room; then he knelt and prayed. Turning to the body he said, “Get up, Tabitha.” And she opened her eyes! When she saw Peter, she sat up! He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then he called in the widows and all the believers, and he presented her to them alive. The news spread through the whole town, and many believed in the Lord.”

Peter taught us that by faith we can bring the dead to life. All we got to do is just believe in that beautiful name of Jesus and we can bring the dead to life. Let us speak faith in this wicked generation so that His people shall see His miracles, signs, and wonders.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
So beautiful how God changed Saul’s life. He was a chosen vessel, Like you and I. God plans for us is greater than what we can imagine. Saul story is a story that many of us can relate to. It reminds us that no matter how badly we think we have done or unworthy we are. There’s a God who sees us beyond all of our errors. If He created you and me before the creation of the earth… is because we ARE special chosen vessels for His kingdom. Let us not be deceived by the enemy words or thoughts. We are children of the Great I Am!!
28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
29 And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
The mistakes in the past of Saul did not stop him from preaching the word of the Lord, it didn’t stop him from obeying the Lord and listening to his commandments. We need to be like Saul, we can’t let our past mistakes guide our future. We have be be faithful and strong to spread the word of God, we can’t let any temptations stop us from that. Let the Lord guide you to his path.

When you are called by God you are not the only one to know. God tells more than just the person who is sent. He also tells someone who can help or guide them. We shouldn’t think that we are ever alone. God never leaves us, but he also has others who care for us as well.
A Devine reset…
Saul would have kept going what he was doing unless God intervened. Saul believed what he was doing was right. He believed he was serving the Lord. We see folks living under false doctrine today that just need that Devine Reset, that light to come on, the work that you know to stop and the new world of truth to begin. I pray for a Devine Reset over every false doctrine in our region in Jesus Name.
15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.

God uses us in mysterious ways like how he is using Ananias. We just have to relax and put our faith in God and believe what He is going to do with us, is going to be great. We have to believe that we can be used and just trust in Him that everything is under control.

These Scriptures means that, Saul was chosen out of the world to live a certain lifestyle in order to live for Jesus through this dark world knowing that He will suffer for The Lord

Few dare to really ask God this question, but when we ask it, we must ask it with submission and determined obedience.

17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
Kingdom Commitment before you even knew.
Paul being a man of integrity with the laws of his land, he went hard for his particular life style. I didn’t day he was nice but the bible does say he abided by the law. Could it be that whatever we did in the world and the attitude we have is the same kind of attitude we carry into the Kingdom but with the Spirit of the Lord. Ever since i got in the church thats what I’ve noticed. You see characteristics don’t exactly change, its kind of like growing up learning one language. If you speak English then its probably because you were raised hearing english.
What I’m getting at is, everyone has a different testimony and some had to get hit by the spirit hard and some got hit very softly but its all the same holy ghost. Take your old lifestyle and whatever you were sold out doing just go ahead and take that characteristic or mentality and bring it to the kingdom.
22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
Jesus will always increase us in strength, through prayer, fasting and reading of the Bible.
23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:
24 But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.
25 Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
Sometimes we are going through some things in our life that look like there is no end but God is waiting with a basket to let us down and away from our problems. Thank you Jesus for always being there waiting to help us in every situation
