Psalm Chapter 6 – Chronological

Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

  1. 1 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
The Lord is my light and salvation.
He gives me strength when i am weak, He turns my sorrows into joy, He turns my mourning into dancing… When i am in tribulation i give him praise, when I’m not in tribulation i give him praise. Give God the glory for it all he deserves it all and without his death none of us would be where we are today. I’m thankful for a relationship with Jesus Christ I’m thankful for a family that prays.

  2. Psalm 6:8-10 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

The Lord will hear my weeping, my supplications and receive my prayer. My enemies will be ashamed.

We must have confidence in God and declare that God has heard our prayers and will deliver us out of trouble.

Psalm 3:4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

  3. Verses 8-10 NLT “Go away, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer. May all my enemies be disgraced and terrified. May they suddenly turn back in shame.” Same verses VOICE “All who are evil, stay away from me because the Eternal hears my voice, listens as I cry. The Eternal God hears my simple prayers; He receives my request. All who seek to destroy me will be humiliated; they will turn away and suddenly crumble in shame.” God knows where you are and He knows your heart; we have to do our part and turn away from evil. Guard your heart! Psalm 121:7-8 MSG “God guards you from every evil, he guards your very life. He guards you when you leave and when you return, he guards you now, he guards you always.” Thank you Jesus!

  4. Psalms 6:2 [ amp] Have mercy on me and be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak ( faint and withered away); O Lord, heal me , for my bones are troubled.
Heb.4:16 [ amp] Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace ( the throne of grace ( the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners). That we may receive mercy [ for our failures]and find grace to help in good time for every need [ appropriate help and well- timed help, coming just when we need it.].
As I was looking through my notes I find this scripture.
Thank you Jesus for your mercy and grace!

  5. 8. Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

    9. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

    10. Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

    Luke 13:27
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Remember, David is a man after God’s own heart; so when Jesus is talking to the people about entering heaven, he quotes David’s words to workers of iniquity.
David warns them to get away from him because the Lord has heard his prayer and will respond…and Jesus let’s them know they will have no place in heaven.
Workers of iniquity have no place around God’s people here on Earth or in heaven.

  6. 8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

In the still of the night when we’re alone with our thoughts and everything floods in…God hears us. When it’s too much to speak and all we can do is cry, He hears us. In the midst of our sorrow We are never alone. He’s holding us together.

  7. 1 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

For when I am weak he is strong, I always something happens whenever we open up ourselves to the Lord during our weak seasons. Whenever we are struggling and we feel completely hopeless in our emotions and we have no idea what we’re doing, my most intimate moments came in these times, when I felt there was nothing I could do and was lost. I truly believe there is something that happens in the supernatural world when we open up our spirits during trying times and expose our weakness before the Lord.

  8. Thank you Jesus for today, I pray for strength and wisdom to come down on us like his spirit . He corrects and directs

Go away, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer. May all my enemies be disgraced and terrified. May they suddenly turn back in shame.
    Psalms 6:8‭-‬10

  9. Workers of iniquity have no place in heaven…..wow thats heavy. We should be after Gods heart and that should be our number one reason for waking up each morning.

  10. Return, O Lord , and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love.
    Psalms 6:4 NLT

God is God and He will always be true to His Word. He is good, He is merciful, He is kind, and He is faithful. So long as we are faithful in return, God will always be there to rescue us!

  11. I feel David’s pain and grieve almost literally, but he is the King what does he has to complaint about? He carries the whole world on his shoulders at least that how it feels to be responsible for so many lives. Again, who can he run to and complain to about the way he feels???? He runs to his Heavenly Father, plus he does it in a way as to contaminate others with his constraint spirit. His body and his soul hurts

2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

The spiritual pain manifest in the body. Even oncologist tell you that remorse, reproach, anger, and bottle up hate will eventually help the body make benign masses. So David no longer young, no longer at his prime feels the weight of his actions and responsibilities and goes to God to vent. To throw in God’s lap how he feels. We all have that one person to go to and to tell you the truth God is better. God can take all that you can dish out and more and best of all HE KEEPS IT A SECRET!!! God doesn’t go down the street and tells on you. That’s why God is my best friend !!! He is AWESOME!!! And the majority of the time He chastised me and helped me fix my mistakes or shows me how to do it. So VENT AT JESUS, LIVE JESUS, So you can GIVE JESUS

  12. “Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:2, 8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David cries out to the Lord for mercy and is confident in his faith the Lord will hear him & deliver him.

  13. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Psa 6:3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?Psa 6:8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

These verses remind me of a New Testament scripture. 2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

Both David and Lott were “vexed” by the workers of iniquity. We all have to ask ourselves, “Am I vexed by the conversations of the wicked?” When I go to a restaurant, do I sing along with the songs of fornication, or is my spirit troubled? When wickedness and lewdness is on display does it make me want to throw up or does it draw me in? When gossip is thick and juicy and in the air does it make me want to listen or does it make me want to cover my ears and say, “la la la la la?”

David and Lot were surrounded by evil folks but they refused to allow it to become who they were. We might be surrounded by evil but we must refuse to allow it to latch onto us. The Lord has given each of us a gage in order to know what’s inside of us…it’s simple…does sin vex our souls or is it pleasant to our eyes and ears?

  14. I can almost feel David’s pain and grieve. He is feeling horrible and who does he run to? His Heavenly Father!!! David is the king and he chooses to run to God with all his complaining and he is right God can take everything you can dish out!!! David is feeling the weight of his responsibilities on his shoulders. It is hard to feel responsible for other’s lives. His body hurts just as much as His spirit. Oncologist have always told us that remorse, reproach, anger, and bottle up hate can turn benign in our bodies that’s why they try to integrate meditation in your treatment.

2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed. 3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

David runs to God and vents out everything and God is Awesome about that for HE KEEPS IT A SECRET AND EVEN HELPS OUT IN FIXING THE PROBLEM IF YOU ASK. Our GOD IS AWESOME!!!! Just like the songs says A LITTLE TALK WITH JESUS MAKES THINGS RIGHT. So have a little talk with Jesus so you can LIVE JESUS so you can GIVE JESUS!!!

  15. Psalms 6
There is a place I can go
No one one else can go there with me.
I call it The Secret Garden
Once I get to the gate and walk into its beauty
I know I am now safe to let my tears flow
I don’t have to be brave I don’t have to put on a show
I can sit right at the feet of the One Whom makes this garden grow.
As I allow the tears to fall and begin to hear the voice of The Gardener I soon realize all the distress I was feeling is soon gone.
You see in My Secret Garden there are vineyards of
Peace Lillies encouraging me another step you can go
I smell the Beautiful Rose of Sharon that reminds me God is the Strength I know.
There are Wild Flowers to remind in the midst of this worlds chaos Jesus watches them grow.

Song of Solomon says it so fine
16 Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden, that its fragrance may spread everywhere. Let my beloved come into his garden and taste its choice fruits.

So yes to My Secret Garden there I must go.
For The Gardener awaits for me His Splendor to show.

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

  16. 9 “The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.”
10 ‭‭ “Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.”

The Lord will receive my prayers and soon everybody will know that the Lord Worth with me., and they all be surprised.

  17. Psalm 6

4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

  18. So in Psalm Chapter 6 verses 1-5 we are talking about how Jesus was not in thine anger but he was weak so Jesus was able to heal me then his soul was vexed then Jesus said deliver my soul unto mercies sake then his death in the grave shall give thanks AMEN!!!

  19. 4 “Return, O Lord, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your [unfailing] steadfast love and mercy.” AMP

There aren’t many things that you can count on in this world today. Technology breaks, relationships fade, and bodies get sick. However, the unfailing, never-ending, Love of Jesus Christ will always remain the same.

Though everything around you may be inconsistent, turned upside down, or in turmoil you can run to the loving arms of Jesus, who will never change! For He is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore!

  20. Psalm 6:8-10
8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
A desperate heart does desperate things. David new where to go and that was the God of creation. We know where to go and that is to Jesus. I also remember Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepard I shall not want and also Numbers 6::24-27 May the Lord bless you and keep you.

  21. 1 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

We are not perfect, we are forgiven. We strive for perfection in a far from perfect world.
Prov. 3 Verses 5 to 6. [5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
The word of God directs our paths and as Pastor taught last night, we must study it and know it and hide it our hearts so we don’t sin against him.

  22. 5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

David was suffering from sickness, distress and oppression. Sometimes when you’re in the valley you cannot see yourself as being strong you just have to hold on to God‘s unchanging hand, he will bring you through all your sorrows for there’s nothing that God cannot do in Jesus name.

  23. 1 Lord , do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.

2 Have mercy on me, Lord , for I am faint; heal me, Lord , for my bones are in agony.

    Psalms 6:1‭-‬2 NIV

Lord forgive me for everything wrong i have done guide me in your path show me the way. You are my light and my salvation whom shall I fear!

    LIVE GIVE JESUS!

  24. 4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

  25. In this chapter David wrote this to God asking for forgiveness. We should also bring all of our needs and troubles to God so he can forgive us.

  26. I learned That Someone was forgiving God for what they done and God said I forgive you. If you always pray about it God will forgive you.

  27. Psalms 6
Like David, how many times have I said…
    1) O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
    2) Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me;…
4, … Deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies sake.
6)… I water my couch with my tears.
I would have to say, “Many times.”
    BUT
    Like David, I can say…
    8) … For the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
    9) The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

What a Merciful God we serve. We can bring everything to Him in Prayer. He corrects me when I need it. He makes me strong when I feel weak. He heals me when I’m broken. He delivers me. He sees my tears and bottles them up. He hears my weeping and my supplications and answers my prayers.

Thank You JESUS!! You are an Awesome God!!

  28. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    JESUS HEARS OUR PRAYER

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

During seasons of trial such as we are facing now, there is great opportunity to wonder if JESUS hears our prayer or if we are simply uttering words that no one hears, weeping tears that no one acknowledges and making requests that no one will answer.

HIS promise to us we find in verse 9: The LORD will RECEIVE my Prayer. Results may cause us to question, satan will lie and tell us that HE is not hearing us.

I choose to believe the WORD of GOD. I choose to continue to make supplication for my family, friends and leaders. As the case with Job, we do not understand why results are not modified per our request, but we are wise to remember that JESUS is KING of Kings and we serve at HIS pleasure in HIS Kingdom.

We make petition and JESUS hears and receives our PRAYER.

    Continue in Prayer:

Speak Health to Bishop Tom Foster, Prophet George Guy, Pastor Gene Holley.
Speak protection over your family and our church family from the virus.
Speak REVIVAL and Harvest over the region of Fort Worth.
Speak Favor over The POFW, everyone coming to and connected with the church.
Speak spiritual, emotional and physical Healing over our land

We make these supplications to JESUS today in JESUS name. Thank you Lord JESUS for hearing us.

  29. “I’m tired of all this—so tired. My bed has been floating forty days and nights On the flood of my tears. My mattress is soaked, soggy with tears. The sockets of my eyes are black holes; nearly blind, I squint and grope.”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭6:6-7‬ ‭MSG‬‬

    But why was he sad?
“Joab left David and went into action. He sent messengers after Abner; they caught up with him at the well at Sirah and brought him back. David knew nothing of all this. When Abner got back to Hebron, Joab steered him aside at the gate for a personal word with him. There he stabbed him in the belly, killed him in cold blood for the murder of his brother Asahel.”
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭3:26-27‬ ‭MSG‬‬
“David ordered Joab and all the men under him, “Rip your cloaks into rags! Wear mourning clothes! Lead Abner’s funeral procession with loud lament!” King David followed the coffin. They buried Abner in Hebron. The king’s voice was loud in lament as he wept at the side of Abner’s grave. All the people wept, too.”
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭3:31-32‬ ‭MSG‬
“The king spoke to his servants: “You realize, don’t you, that today a prince and hero fell victim of foul play in Israel? And I, though anointed king, was helpless to do anything about it. These sons of Zeruiah are too much for me. GOD, requite the criminal for his crime!””
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭3:38-39‬ ‭MSG‬‬

“It so happened that Saul’s son, Jonathan, had a son who was maimed in both feet. When he was five years old, the report on Saul and Jonathan came from Jezreel. His nurse picked him up and ran, but in her hurry to get away she fell, and the boy was maimed. His name was Mephibosheth.”
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭MSG‬‬

“One day Baanah and Recab, the two sons of Rimmon, headed out for the house of Ish-Bosheth. They arrived at the hottest time of the day, just as he was taking his afternoon nap. They entered the house on a ruse, pretending official business. The maid guarding the bedroom had fallen asleep, so Recab and Baanah slipped by her and entered the room where Ish-Bosheth was asleep on his bed. They killed him and then cut off his head, carrying it off as a trophy. They traveled all night long, taking the route through the Arabah Valley.
David answered the brothers Recab and Baanah, sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, “As surely as GOD lives—the One who got me out of every trouble I’ve ever been in—when the messenger told me, ‘Good news! Saul is dead!’ supposing I’d be delighted, I arrested him and killed him on the spot in Ziklag. That’s what he got for his so-called good news! And now you show up—evil men who killed an innocent man in cold blood, a man asleep in his own house! Don’t think I won’t find you guilty of murder and rid the country of you!””
    ‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭4:5-7, 9-11‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Just because bad things happen around you doesn’t mean that you are wish hurt or death to others. David was reminded of the death of his great friend Johnathan and his King Saul because of the fighting and murders that occurred. We know that all these things had an effect on David because of his reaction. Tearing his clothes, weeping, fasting, and later giving a seat to Mephibosheth. This is why he had so much grief.

  30. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

Physical pain is one thing, but when our soul is vexed, burdened down, in pain for various reasons, that is something totally different. We are miserable. When the Lord corrects us, or we bring sin into our lives and places our soul in jeopardy, our spirit man wars within because we are not right. That is the worst feeling. We have to get it right!! We cannot allow ourselves to linger in that position but make time to spent time with the Lord, search out the heart and make things right.

Don’t be too prideful that you can’t be real with the Lord and make things right so that your soul is not vexed.

  31. ….For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping. The LORD has heard my supplication [my plea for grace]; The LORD receives my prayer.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:8-9‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Why not TRUST in HIM at all times? He is the only one who has given me peace and strength in my darkest of days❤️ HALLELUJAH TO THE MOST HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL!!!!

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121:1-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  32. “O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There may be times when we believe we are chastened by God’s hand when really, we suffer trouble brought upon ourselves. Nevertheless, there are certainly times when the LORD does chasten His children.

“If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When God corrects us it doesn’t feel pleasant, but it is good and it is for our good. God chastens us out of correcting love and not out of anger.

  33. 2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

Here was David, being a warrior from his youth, yet the mortal man was vexing him causing pain. He is pleading before God to know why and how long this pain will be. Even though he was a man after God’s own heart and he was a stout man in stature, he was still vexed with calamities that most men were and he was not exempted. We find that David showed his weaker side while praying for an answer to his trials and hoping to get some relief. I find that, we as children of God, we are not exempt from the trials and tribulations. Scripture tells me that it rains on the just and unjust alike.

Right now we are seeing the greatest attack on the kingdom of God that we have ever seen. I find that more of the great voices of word of God are being attacked spiritually and it is affecting them physically. I know that the kingdom of hell will not prevail, but we have to stay focused in prayer and that way we can be sensitive to the voice of God. We will be overcomers through the name of Jesus. As long as we protect the code- 1 Lord, 1 Faith, 1 Baptism. Are we willing to continue to press toward the high calling of Jesus Christ? We will face trials and tribulations.

  34. “Return, O Lord, and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

His love is overwhelming, it’s never ending. His love is unfailing, it’s all sufficient. There is no greater love than His; for He is love!
“We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.”
    ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  35. 10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

I wouldn’t want to be His enemies

  36. 9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.
Pray without ceasing. Its okay to praise the Lord

  37. ” I’m tired of all this – so tired. My bed has been floating forty days and nights On the flood of my tears. My mattress is soaked, soggy with tears. The sockets of my eyes are black holes; nearly blind, I squint and grope.” Psalms 6:6-7 MSG

The definition of tired the Webster dictionary says: in need of sleep or rest.

Here David has fallen on his face to cry out to God – to confess to him that he is weak and in utter desperation. Somewhere along the journey David took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the storm. The enemies advances acted as waves crashes violently upon a ship. Each direct impact ripping away at his soul. Life had become suffocating despair of sorrow that lead down the river of lost hope.

But dont be fooled by the enemy. Deception is a tool he use to fool you in to thinking that you will drown in the new found Dead Sea, you have created from your tears. But their is hope. Ezekiel prophesied of what would come from Dead Seas.
“Then said he unto me: ‘These waters issue forth toward the eastern region and shall go down into the Arabah… and it shall come to pass that every living creature wherewith it swarmeth whithersoever the rivers shall come shall live…”.( Ezekiel 47:8-9)

So just as David humbled himself and fell on his knees, admitted to his short comings that allowed his current situation prosper–he cried out to the one who could work all things in the favor of those who serve him.

No matter how long it has gone own, no matter how out of hand it has gotten. If we repent from our wicked ways and call on the name of Jesus–the dead shall LIVE in Jesus name.

  38. “O Lord, don’t rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your rage. Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony. I am sick at heart. How long, O Lord, until you restore me?”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:1-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

There may be times when we believe we are chastened by God’s hand when really, we suffer trouble brought upon ourselves. Nevertheless, there are certainly times when the LORD does chasten His children.

  39. 1O LORD, don’t rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your rage.

As youngsters, we never wanted to be punished by our parents when they were angry. We all hoped the problem would just go away, or that our parents would not punish you by the rod. With God, we can ask forgiveness and all will be forgotten. Thank God for his mercy, or we would really be in for a severe punishment. Daily, ask God to forgive you, and pray daily.

  40. I know God hears my cry,see my tears, feel my pain. His promise is true,he will be there for us,he won’t forsake us. He loves us. He will prepare a table for us and our enemies. God touch my heart and heal my soul and spirit. How I love you my God.

  41. 1 O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

I know we’ve all had moments in life when we feel abandoned by God. Like is we pushed Gods patience past a limit. And honestly most of this is our fault.

We help the enemy and defeating ourselves, with a self defeating mentality. Because is we only stored Gods word in our heart, like we do our favorite song lyrics, or binged in reading His word like we Netflix.

We would remember that Gods mercy is everlasting (Psalm 100:5). That it is us the leave him not He that leaves us or forsakes us. (Rev 12:4; Heb 13:5)

So don’t be quick to be shifted from what “Thus saith the Lord”. If He said it, you can count on it!

  42. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

  43. Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

  44. As tonight in bible study, Irvin Baxter said are we obedient or disobedient? Sometimes we think we are not being blessed by God or doing what He wants us to do. I never intended to ever move to Texas but God had different plans for me. Am I ever glad this time I did God’s will. At the time I was depressed but I met my church family and my husband here. Thank you for you directing this path to me Lord!

  45. Deliver My Soul

4Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

When things begin to get out of hand, we need he Lord to rescue us. Once you get yourself into trouble, trying to fix it on your own usually takes you deeper into trouble. That’s when you know you need the Lord.

Trouble will follow you where ever you go. Just because it follows you that doesn’t mean you have to part take in it. Jesus is still a way maker. Just when you are about to give up go ahead and hand it over to Jesus and let him work it out. Remember when Jesus is part of your life from the beginning, he will save you from making many mistakes. We make those type of mistakes when we stop allowing God to speak into our life. Hold on to God’s word and let him lead and guide you.

  46. 8-9 Get out of here, you Devil’s crew: at last God has heard my sobs. My requests have all been granted, my prayers are answered.

Speak faith in the hard and good times. Trust in God to answer your needs, he sees and hears our cries, in his timing he will answer. When there is a world of negativity it’s up to yourself to make up in your mind to give thanks to God for what he is about to do.

  47. My vision is blurred by grief; my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies.
    Psalms 6:7 NLT

Grief, anxioty, depression, life, and enemies all will work against you so you can loose focus. They will take your attention and distract you and make you lose your faith in Jesus. We must remember that he is in control of every situation and he will deliver us from all evil.

  48. “Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So thankful that we serve a God that is alive and full of power. He’s not a statue having eyes but can’t see having ears but cant here. He is alive! He sees all and knows all. No matter how tough the situation may seem he’s just one prayer away.

  49. “I am worn out from sobbing. All night I flood my bed with weeping, drenching it with my tears. My vision is blurred by grief; my eyes are worn out because of all my enemies. Go away, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:6-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

David still had hope and faith in the lord though his dark hour and painful grief. We must have hope and faith in the lord in our darkest hour.

  50. 8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

We can live in peace knowing God hears our prayers. He is not died but alive.
God not only hears my prayers but he receives them. We can hear things but not really receive it not really hear it but God hears and acts on ours prayers.

  51. 8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

David had the assurance that the Lord had answer his prayer. He knew that the Lord was watching over him. We must have that assurance that the Lord will always protect us from our enemies. Let the Lord fight your battle.

  52. 9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

David’s confidence in the fact that God will answer his prayers is how we should always go to God. God knows what we need and want but he requires communication and confidence in us. Speaking out loud the our prayers is important so that it soaks into our mind and soul. Let us be as David and go to God in confidence that he will answer us.

  53. 8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.

Thank you Lord for all those times.

  54. 1 O’Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy upon me, O’Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

David cried out to the Lord asking for his soul to be saved to be forgiven, David knew that the Lord would forgive him and be able to start fresh in the Lords path. The Lord will always forgive us and heal us and love us no matter what, for he died for us and loves each and everyone of us. I hope we can all everyday praise him everyday asking for forgiveness and to give him all our faith and trust. O’Lord forgive me of everything every sin that I have done and things I didn’t know was I was doing, I pray that you lead and guide me in your path that you show me the way into your beautiful ways. Thank you Lord for loving us and forgiving us.

  55. “For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Let us LIVE JESUS while we can. Tomorrow is not promised but God loves a praiser.

  56. “O LORD, do not rebuke or punish me in Your anger, Nor discipline me in Your wrath.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

His grace and mercy, I wouldn’t be here without it! No one knows like I know just how good Good he’s been. From situations I’ve gotten myself in, to test and trials God has brought me through to grow in Him – I thank Him for His faithfulness and willingness to use me. I pray we never take for granted His grace and mercy and the privilege to be used by Him!

  57. 8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

Would you call someone for help if you thought that they wouldn’t help you? The Lord hears our prayers and answers. Know that he will come to our aid when we call.

  58. “Go away, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer. May all my enemies be disgraced and terrified. May they suddenly turn back in shame.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭6:8-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

These Scriptures means that, We have authority to go against our adversary In The Name Of Jesus. For He knows what We are going through and He deliver us from our problems In The Name Of Jesus. Their may be pain in the night, But Joy comes In The Morning In The Name Of Jesus.

  59. 2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?
4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

I love to read Psalms and see how David truly understood the mighty power of God. He understood that when he called upon God then things would happen and change. “. . . deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.” He knew the power and the life changing moves that could be made by simply asking.

6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

David knew of grief and it showed in his poetry and rhythms as he spoke of groaning, crying endlessly, and his own grief.

9 The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lordwill receive my prayer.
10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

David knew the power of prayer!

  60. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

This is the same confidence and I might add faith that when we pray we should have. Some of us have this shy approach of our Father in heaven. Yet we should know that he hears us and is wanting for us to believe in him and believe him that he can.

  61. Psalm 6:4-5
    4. Return, O LORD, deliver my soul:
oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

    5. For in death there is no remembrance of thee:
in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

    2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

God enrobed himself in flesh, took on the sins of us so that we could have eternal life … therefore it is our responsibility to give thanks ALWAYS! We should daily with a heart full of thanksgiving.. thank you Jesus for the sacrifice you made and your continual forgiveness. We are living in a generation where people are consumed with themselves and give no thought to the things of God… we should be sharing the Gospel with a heart full of thankfulness.

  62. Psalms 6

Oh LORD, do not rebuke nor discipline me in your anger.

Be loving to me, oh Lord, for I am weak; oh LORD, give me strength, because I am terrified.

My soul is terrified. How long will you wait, oh LORD?

Turn toward me, oh LORD, and save my life; save me because of your steadfast love.

Because when I die, I won’t be able to remember you; how can I give you praise in Hell?

I am weary of moaning; every night I cry myself to sleep; my bed gets soaked because of my weeping.

Because of my grief, my eyes are swollen with crying; they are streaming because I have so many enemies.

Leave me, all of you workers of evil, for the LORD has heard me crying.

The LORD has heard and listened to my plea; the LORD receives my prayer.

All my enemies will be ashamed and terrified; they shall retreat and be shamed in a moment.

Find comfort in the Lord God Almighty when you are struggling, for He listens to you and cares about you. He will give you peace. In Jesus Name.

    Hallelujah!!

    Amen and Amen.

  63. 4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

We were talking earlier, and I said that it is only because of Jesus’s mercies that I was allowed a chance to live and repent, so that I might worship Him and tell others of His goodness.

  64. v5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks.

Our hunger opens up to us all that God is and has for us.
God wants us to be God-sufficient and not self sufficient.
Our hunger and longing for Him assures us that our hearts are alive to Him..and not physically or spiritually dead.
I give Himnthanks on all things.
