Psalm Chapter 102 – Chronological

Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.

Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.

10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

12 But thou, O Lord, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

16 When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth;

20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

21 To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the Lord.

23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

Some would say that the psalmist wrote this particular psalm during the rebellion of Absolam. But some may say that the psalmist wrote this in representation of the church and the circumstances that may have caused afflictions upon Zion. We have the idea of the pain and sorrow felt by the person whom is represented here whether individual or the entirety of the church. No matter how it is presented, we must understand that we will be faced with troubles and trials that in time will soon be over. We will be taking that flight to see our God in glory or we will be seeing the old man death and waiting for the trumpets to sound. No matter the situation we will be faced with affliction some time or another.

There is one of two things that we can do, we can pray in travail that we would get the attention of God or we do nothing at all. It is always the power of prayer that will get God’s attention In the midst of our troubles. We have to set the example for others to follow and to live what we are preaching. Living Jesus so that we can give Jesus is not that demanding but we have to be focused on the kingdom of God to show the goodness and mercy of God. Let it be known to all the nay-sayers and non-believers that our God is great and he is full of grace. That we have an avenue to come unto him through the altar.

  2. “This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:18 ‭KJV‬‬

In the midst of all the turmoil, there is still hope enough to sing His praises so the next generation would know though we may face hard times, He is still a good God who remains for ever. A situation may seem hopeless but remember God is still there, sitting in the mercy seat. He sees our affliction, He knows our struggle and He’s here to fight for us.

I thank God my worship solidifies my hope in Him. I pray our praise today reminds us, He is still God- yesterday, today, and forever

  3. Ps. 102 : 15 [ amp] So the nations shall fear and worship fully revere the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth Your glory.
]16] When the Lord builds up Zion, He will appear in His glory.
Ps.96:9 [ amp] O worship the Lord as the beauty of holiness, tremble before and reverently fear Him, all the earth.
Ps.95:6 [ amp] O come , let us worship and bow down , let us kneel before the Lord our Maker
[ in reverent praise and supplication].
Because of you Lord I lived , I will worship and praise the Lord at all times.
The Lord is merciful, and his loving- kindness endures forever.
He will remain forever and forever.
I must live Jesus , Give Jesus.

  4. Oh senor, Como nos hablas y nos ensenas a clamar en el tiempo de affliction y con la libertad de decir Como nos sentimos sin retener nada gracias senor JESUS.

  5. 1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.

2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS!!! GRACIAS PADRE!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  6. 27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

In the world today where we don’t have security and where we are very unsure of with how things are going to go, we must remain firm and steady that the Lord our God is the same yesterday today and forever I’m not as long as we remain his children and servants that God will continue to establish us where we are at and we will continue to be forever under his covering. Even when things seem shaky at best we can hold onto the truth that God doesn’t change and will continue to be with us

  7. Psalm 102

1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.

2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

  8. There’s this song I listen it’s called Hills and valleys by
Tauren wells and he talks about how God is always his side through the highs as and flows and he will never leav him . God will never leave us . God is always on our side no Matter what

  9. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
Psa 102:2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

I reckon y’all who have been holding back from calling on the Lord waiting on an emergency can go head and start calling on the Lord now. We need Jesus in our homes and our church. We need peace that this world cannot offer.

  10. 28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

“May His favor be upon you and a thousand generations, and your family and your children, and their children, and their children. May His presence go before you, and behind you, and beside you, all around you, and within you. He is with you, He is with you.”

Serve the Lord with gladness and lead the upcoming generations in His righteousness!

  11. “They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will have no end.”

God is eternal! He does not change. The same God from beginning of time is the same God we can call on today.

  12. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    SERVANTS ATTITUDE

14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
16 When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

When I read verse 14 it revealed to me of a SERVANTS ATTITUDE and how GOD identifies a SERVANTS ATTITUDE.

    TLB
14 For your people love every stone in her walls and feel sympathy for every grain of dust in her streets

    MKW
14 A SERVANTS ATTITUDE loves the stones that make up the building and the parking lot and the dirt that makes up the yard and flower beds of the church.

Verse 15 reveals the response of those that observe this ATTITUDE. People will witness our commitment and fear the LORD. Then REVIVAL and HARVEST will come as the LORD hears the prayers of the pained, broken and destitute.

Lets examine ourselves today and see if we possess a SERVANTS ATTITUDE toward The Kingdom of GOD and HIS Land.

  13. God bless Bro Morgan, he hit the nail on the head. If anyone is holding out prayer for an
emergency or a real dire need the time is NOW. Flood the Almighty God with your prayers. Give Jesus, live Jesus!!

  14. 11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

12 But thou, O Lord, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Up till verse 11, was David come with a bunch of whining. I wonder how much of our prayer towards God is just pity. Ya complaining, I know how difficult this life can be, but we have God.

It seems that we forget that fact. So God strengthen my faith. Remind me that your here with me, in me and you desire for me to be more than a conqueror.

And let my prayer reflect that fact. Prayers that give you glory and that remind me how your fidelity.

  15. 6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

The writer is expressing his feelings of being out of place. When we are not in sync with God because of disobedience, or even because of circumstances we may not have created but are part of, it’s like our body being out of joint. We feel the unrest within.

At times like these we set our focus on God and do what we need to do to make things right, then wait on God to bring renewed strength, wisdom and direction, all the while remaining faithful in giving God praise in the moment.

  16. 102:1,2 hear my prayer oh Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.
    2. Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble, incline thine ear unto me, in the day when I call answer me speedily.

    Hallelujah 😀
This hurt man said: God gave, God took away, blessed be his name.
For He wounds but he also binds up.
    ——
I do t know about you, but I have prayed like this before.
ALL GLORY TO GOD!!!!! He answered, He heard
    And his hand moved.
    God of heaven and earth
Hallelujah, hallelujah oh Lord of heaven and earth
    You are holy, holy.
    Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
    Lord of heaven and earth.
    🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
    THANK YOU LORD.

  17. 17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

God answers prayers. Sometimes when we pray, we may not feel like God hears us, but he does. We can get to the point where we even believe he is taken too long to answer. If we are patient, God will answer our prayer.

There are many reasons why God could be waiting to answer your prayer. The best thing to do is not doubt God in your waiting period. Sometimes he is building up your faith before you receive your answer. If you had received in your current state, you wouldn’t be able to handle it. Trust God because he knows what’s best for you.

  18. 25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

What we do or do not do, does not affect or changes the fact that God is God!!!! If we choose to do right or we choose to do wrong. GOD NEVER CHANGES HE REMAINS THE SAME!!! He still adorns our morning with the glory of the sun and the night with the twinkling stars. He continues to be righteous by us. So, who are we to demand or act with reproach when things don’t go our way??? We MUST come to the realization that EVERYTHING HE DOES HE DOES IT FOR OUR GOOD!! So next time things do not go your way, put on the whole armor of God and sing HALLELUJAH ANYHOW!!!!!

  19. 2 Don’t turn away from me in my time of distress. Bend down to listen, and answer me quickly when I call to you.

We all want God to hear us when we call upon him. But like Bro Merriman said last night, don’t speak against the man of God. Like Jesus, who did not answer Herod cause he took the life of John the Baptist. Speak positively about the man of God, and support him. Then God will hear your prayers, and will not turn away.

  20. 16 When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

When Jesus comes back for His Church, we will see, His glorious power and He shall be manifested to all the world. That day is coming, soon and very soon, we are going to see the King. Let us patiently wait on the Lord.

  21. Psalms 102
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert

    Misplaced and Desperate
How so many people must feel at this time of life. What do we do next? What will be the next step . Like a pelican in the wilderness . During these times of uncertainty we all have felt misplaced and desperate for answers. Just asking for a moment of relief . I know God will and is hearing the cries of His people. I know He will and does show up just in the precise moments of desperation. A friend said just recently it’s not the big things but in the little things God shows us He is hearing our moments of desperation. He will bring a spring of water in the wilderness. He will bring a fresh breeze to refresh our spirits. If our hearts will continue to call out to God He will answer. Though Misplaced and Desperate we have this one hope and it is in Christ Jesus.

  22. 24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

Got is the same yesterday today and forever. He will never leave you nor for sake you. He is there with you in the belly and on the mountaintop

  23. 6 “That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.”

This is a call for help call of hopelessness to the almighty God Lord of all.

  24. Psalm 102:1,2 msg
A prayer of one whose life is falling to pieces and who lets God know just how bad it is.

God, listen! Listen to my prayer, listen to the pain in my cries. Don’t turn your back on me just when I need you so desperately. Pay attention! This is a cry for help and hurry this can’t wait!

When we get this desperate and think God doesn’t hear us, He does But
We need to give Him our All everyday like, our worship, praise that He deserves not just cry unto him in bad times. It’s like putting no money in the bank and then when bad times come you try to get money but there’s no deposits! We must deposit our praise, worship, our everything to God now!

We must totally rely on God for relief.
    Trust Him.

  25. Psalm 102
27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
We all have times that we have to give Jesus our concerns or problems. King David does so in this Psalm. At the end his faith kicks in and he encourages him self in the Lord. I am encouraged in this reading and remember Revelations 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. May his blessings be on all of us all as we go through this day in Jesus name.

  26. As reading Psalms 102 it shows times of turmoil and desperation. I am sure many of us have felt like this in the past or present. We can wallow in self pity or pray to God. God is there in our good and bad times. He is the same today as yesterday. I gather my strength through our Lord. Now is the time we must go to God, not turn away.

“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25 NIV
Together our church can stand strong. I need and want my church family. I love you all.

  27. 13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

True servants of God do not focus on themselves. But they care for the things that surround them. Like the church, the city and most importantly the people that fill them.

“And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God.”
    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If every stone was precious in the eyes of the servants, then every stone representing the people of God should be precious in our eyes.

  28. 12. But You, O Eternal One, remain forever, and Your name endures to all generations.

    15. Days are coming when nations will tremble at the name of the Eternal; all the rulers of the earth will bow down to Your glory.

    21. That the name of the Eternal would resound in Zion, and His praise would be proclaimed in Jerusalem

    22. When the peoples gather and the nations’ leaders assemble to worship the Eternal. Voice

Lord of all and ruler of nations
You are God of all the earth
Let all of Your People praise you
And sing of Your marvelous works
Every knee shall bow before You
    And every tongue will confess
That You are Lord of all
Yes, You are Lord of all.

  29. “He broke my strength in midlife, cutting short my days. But I cried to him, “O my God, who lives forever, don’t take my life while I am so young! Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever; they will wear out like old clothing. You will change them like a garment and discard them. But you are always the same; you will live forever. The children of your people will live in security. Their children’s children will thrive in your presence.””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:23-28‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Do not let us overlook the assurance this psalm contains of a happy end to all the believer’s trials. Though all things are changing, dying, perishing, our Jesus lives, for he hath said, Because I live ye shall live also.

  30. Psalms 102:19-20
    19) For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
    20) To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is Isaiah 42:7, “To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoner from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.”

So Thankful for the day that God looked down from the height of His sanctuary and saw this prisoner of sin, who was appointed (scheduled, prearranged, set, etc…) to death for my sins, and He opened my blind eyes, and He brought me out of prison out of the prison house and out darkness and into His Marvelous Light!

I quote Isaiah 42:7 often when I am praying for people and our city. I pray that God would open their blind eyes, and He would bring them out of prison out of the prison house and out of darkness and into His Marvelous Light.

  31. “Lord, hear my prayer! Listen to my plea! Don’t turn away from me in my time of distress. Bend down to listen, and answer me quickly when I call to you. For my days disappear like smoke, and my bones burn like red-hot coals. My heart is sick, withered like grass, and I have lost my appetite. Because of my groaning, I am reduced to skin and bones.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:1-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are so blessed to be able to come to God and pour our heart out to him. He is a true friend that we can be transparent with. He already knows the needs we have but he wants to hear from us.

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and grieves to bear
    What a privilege to carry
    Everything to God in prayer

Oh, what peace we often forfeit
Of what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
    Everything to God in prayer.

    Have we trials and temptation
    Is there trouble anywhere
    We should never be discouraged
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

  32. 1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.

2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

    Psalms 91:1 & 2

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

I know all of us have felt all alone in our lives at sometime and thought God had rejected us, and no help was ever going to come but we just weren’t where we needed to be. We didn’t go to that secret place of the most high where are refuge and strength is. We need to remember who our refuge is in this time of our lives. He has never let me down when I went to him with anything when I wasnt faithful to him he was still faithful to me. He is an awesome God. He is always working for our good. Thank you Jesus for being my rock and help us trust in you through it all.

  33. Verse 12 MSG says “Yet you, God, are sovereign still, always and ever sovereign.: Same verse AMP “But You, O Lord, are enthroned forever [ruling eternally as sovereign]; And [the fame and glory of] Your name [endures] to all generations.” God is God, no matter what is going on in our lives or in this world. 1 Chronicles 29:10-13 MSG says ” David blessed God in full view of the entire congregation: Blessed are you, God of Israel, our father from of old and forever. To you, O God, belong the greatness and the might, the glory, the victory, the majesty, the splendor; Yes! Everything in heaven, everything on earth; the kingdom all yours! You’ve raised yourself high over all. Riches and glory come from you, you’re ruler over all; You hold strength and power in the palm of your hand to build up and strengthen all. And here we are, O God, our God, giving thanks to you, praising your splendid Name.” No matter what is going on, all praise and all honor belong to Jesus!

  34. “They will perish, but you remain forever; they will wear out like old clothing. You will change them like a garment and discard them. But you are always the same; you will live forever.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:26-27‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    https://www.bible.com/116/psa.102.26-27.nlt

The thing of this world will be gone but the Lord will stay the same forever so we should focus only on the Lord because he is mighty and worthy and honest to us.

  35. “Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In our time of need cry out unto god. God hears and knows all. Sometimes he just wants to see how bad we want it and if we are truly going to trust and rely on him. There is a saying “actions speak louder than words”. Are we showing god that we are trusting in him or is it just something we are saying but not believing?

  36. 17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

He hears me when I cry out to Him. How many can say and rest assured that the one whom they pray to hears them? Many religions have prayers, chants, rituals, but can they really say that they are heard? No because there is no power in them. But God, our Lord Jesus. When you really pray, when you really cry out to the Lord, you know that you are heard. You know when you speak in that heavenly language that you are speaking to the one true God.

  37. “For my days disappear like smoke, and my bones burn like red-hot coals. My heart is sick, withered like grass, and I have lost my appetite.”(Psalms‬ ‭102:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

There will never have to be a time in our lives that we have to feel like David felt in this verse. The word of God is like our spiritual medicine for our bodies for God is the only living resource that we can depend on for he will never fail us for we will never have to worry about going hungry or being weary.

  38. My life passes as swiftly as the evening shadows. I am withering away like grass. But you, O Lord , will sit on your throne forever. Your fame will endure to every generation.
    Psalms 102:11‭-‬12 NLT

When we find ourselves in the darkest hours of our lives. We feel that there is solution, no hope, no joy. We can’t even find our way out and we have no strength to continue. Just remember that God is the same yesterday, today and for ever more. God has given joy in the past and we will give us the victory right now if we want it. We need to continue to trust in Him always.

  39. My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

I had my nephew come out and put new grass sod in my front yard and I’ve been researching how to care for it. There are several reasons grass will wither

    1. A lack of water
    2. An infestation of bugs

Either way this is not something we want to happen to us spiritually.

    1. A lack of the Holy Ghost
    2. An infestation of sin

Both will cause of not to desire the bread of life. Both will cause great conviction to come upon a Saints heart that is straying away from God and they will desire less of the word because the word will become our judgement instead of the law that we love because we are not offended by it.

Let us be a great and mighty saint by taking care of heart issues like freshly laid sod. You water it and tend to it. You check for infestations of bugs. You take pride in growth and keep the soil moist so that the roots can grow deep and strong.

  40. There’s this song I listen it’s called Hills and valleys by
Tauren wells and he talks about how God is always his side through the highs as and flows and he will never leave him

  41. In this chapter the person that was speaking was asking God to help them through any of their struggles. God is always on our sides so we should make the right choices and praise his name!

  42. I learned that this man was forgiving God after everything he did to protect them God what I always protect us from the Devon he on the devil side always be on Jesus his side.

  43. 11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

12 But thou, O Lord, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

    So true

  44. At the end of this chapter the psalmist makes it get clear, God is not going to change. It makes me relay this message to this present time we live in. There are so many opinions and arguments about what is right or wrong, but God doesn’t change. His word will never change. It is established.

  45. “We, your servants, love each stone in the city, and we are sad to see them lying in the dirt. Our Lord, the nations will honor you, and all kings on earth will praise your glory. You will rebuild the city of Zion. Your glory will be seen, and the prayers of the homeless will be answered.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:14-17‬ ‭CEV‬‬

Change this to reference the city of Fort Worth…we should be crying out on behalf of our city every day! If you aren’t, start to!

  46. 1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee.
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

We should all inquire of the Lord this way, instead of always expecting that He will hear our cry. Even though we know He listens it doesn’t hurt to say “Please, don’t forget about me. Please, hear my prayers! Please, give ear to me and please, answer my prayers quickly.”

17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

Reiterated again but in a different way, God listens to the prayers of the destitute and doesn’t hate or get annoyed by it. des·ti·tute – without the basic necessities of life. Even if you feel like you have nothing to offer. . . God still listens and wouldn’t turn away from your prayer.

  47. Psalm 102:24–

    24. I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days:
thy years are throughout all generations.

    25. Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth:
and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

    26. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure:
yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

    27. But thou art the same,
and thy years shall have no end.

    28. The children of thy servants shall continue,
and their seed shall be established before thee.

It is of the utmost importance that we pass down the art of servanthood. I am so blessed that I am a 4th generation Apostolic and I am striving to pass on that rich and blessed heritage.

  48. 15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

16 When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

You know what this tells me, it tells me that your adversary don’t like the name Jesus or when he shows up. But all it takes is some praise and Gods gonna move into whatever he needs to move in.

  49. The children of your people will live in security. Their children’s children will thrive in your presence.”
    Psalms 102:28 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.102.28.NLT

This is why…if for no other reason I would want to live for God this reason right here has me sold.
Security and safety are precious and when you have children involved it’s even more of a precious commodity. Just the security and protection that I get from my sweet Lord keeps me❤️

  50. “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we the people of God cease thinking about ourselves so much and begin thinking about the state of things around u, particularly our cities and those who are suffering in them, then God may indeed hear our prayers and send a revival.

  51. “So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭102:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There is no way that people can hold back the glory of God. They may not understand it, but it will be there.
