Psalm Chapter 103 – Chronological

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lordpitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

  1. Psalms 103:22
    Praise the lord, everything he has created everything in all his kingdom.
    Let all that I am praise the lord.

    Praise Him
    Praise Him
    Praise Him
    Praise Him
    Jesus, blessed Savior,
    He’s worthy to be praised.
    From the rising of the sun,
    Until the going down of the same;
    He’s worthy, Jesus is worthy,
    He’s worthy to be praised.
    Glory,
    Glory
    In all things give Him glory;
    Jesus, blessed Savior,
    He’s worthy to be praised.
    God is our rock,
    Hope of salvation,
    A strong deliverer,
    In Him will I always trust.
    From the rising of the sun,
    Until the going down of the same;
    He’s worthy, Jesus is worthy,
    He’s worthy to be praised

  2. Psalm 103:17–18

    17. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
    and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    18. To such as keep his covenant,
    and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

    A covenant is essentially a relationship, but it’s a relationship that has been formalized and has been brought under sanctions, as it were. So there are blessings that come if the relationship is kept, and there are penalties that come if the relationship is broken, and a covenant is simply the terms of that relationship.

    When we make a covenant with God, we are responsible for maintaining that covenant. We should never make a covenant that we cannot keep!

  3. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits
    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

    While we can appreciate all the blessings that God sends us let us not forget what he has done for us in this really. Let us always appreciate what he has done when he forgave our sins. While we can be blessed and love what God has done for us throughout our walk with him, the fact that he healed us from every burden that sin comes with, never escape our minds. We can bask just in the glory of Christ over are redemption through his blood alone.

  4. Verses 1-5 MSG “O my soul, bless God. From head to toe, I’ll bless his holy name! O my soul, bless God, don’t forget a single blessing! He forgives your sins—every one. He heals your diseases—every one. He redeems you from hell—saves your life! He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown. He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal. He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence.” Oh yeah, if that don’t make you shout…..check your pulse! My God can do anything! Just the thought of His saving grace that saved me:

    You should have been there when I came through
    Church was on fire and the Holy Ghost too
    From the top of my head to the sole of my feet
    I felt the Spirit moving all over me

  5. Psalms 103: 1-2 [ amp] Bless Affectionatly , gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and all that is ( deepest) within me, bless His holy name!
    [2] Bless ( affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul and forget not [ one of] all His benefits.
    Jesus I will never forget what you done for me,
    Jesus I will never forget how you set me free,
    Jesus I will never forget how you brought me out
    No never.
    Jesus can do for you.
    Repent and be baptize in Jesus name.

  6. Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

    The Lord is working in places we cannot see. He is not confined to space and time so He can be working on a situation we’re in right now, but at the same time be setting up our future opportunities and endeavors. He’s Amazing like that!
    So another way to pray would be to bless the work of the Lord’s hands. Bless the work He is doing.

  7. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

    The covenant that God has made with them that are covered by his blood and his spirit, they should remember that it is important to keep our word and to do it within the kingdom of God. He shall cover us with his mercy and grace and we will do well as we maintain our obedience to his word. The scripture tells us if we hide his word within our hearts so that we would not sin against him. As continue in this life, we have to maintain a sincerity for the love of God and to remember it is always about God’s will and not our will be done.

    We have the greatest opportunity to show the love of Jesus to all that we have come in contact with. We have a short time to win the lost. We can be the greatest apostolic end time church that the world has ever seen. We must be ready and willing to go forth in praise and worship in all we do. What a great time to give God all that we have. It’s time to lift our voices and not remain silent anymore.

  8. “The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:8-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

    Thank you Jesus for your mercy and grace! I will bless the Lord at all times with all my soul.

  9. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus
    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits

    This is one of my most favorite scriptures in the Word declaring the benefits of the Lord. Let’s break this down.

    Benefit
    ghem-ool’

    From H1580; treatment, that is, an act (of good or ill); by implication service or requital (something given in return)

    We have to speak a little parable here to get the full understanding.
    When you get hired on a job, most employers offer their employees a benefit package. These benefits are yours and can be used as long as you meet the requirements. It doesn’t matter if the boss doesn’t to give you 2 weeks of paid vacation or not, as long as you are in the guidelines of your benefits you will receive those benefits…UNLESS you forget those benefits. If you forget your benefits, there are some bosses out there who will not remind you. This is exactly what this verse is talking about. If you forget the Word of God don’t get mad at God for not hearing your prayer. We are to remind God of his benefits and he will provide.

  10. Psalm 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
    Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as the eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

    Praise God for all his benefits, He forgives us,healeth, reedeemeth,crowneth with loving kindness and tender mercies,who satisfieth. These are our spiritual blessings which physical benefits are included.

  11. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    This chapter is full of promises for those who fear the Lord! Thank You Jesus!!

  12. 10 “He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.”
    ‭‭
    Praise the Lord for his mercy He is truly Merciful.

  13. 103:15 as for men his days are as grass
    As a flower of the field, so he flourished.
    for the wind paseth over and it’s gone,and the place there of shall know it no more.
    —-
    Just like that!!! One day is here, and the other night not.
    These are the last days…
    The life of someone can change radically suddenly..
    And us? we are here and then we are not.
    THAT I MAY DWEL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER.( seek him, first priority..)
    🙏

  14. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

    17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    VICTORIOUS THINKING

    1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
    5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    Bless the Lord O my soul. Often we are guilty of Bless the Lord O my mind. We will only Praise the LORD based on situation or circumstance. But the psalmist David teaches us here to Bless the Lord with our SOUL, our core being, our eternal breath. This Praise empowers and enables me to Bless the LORD even when I do not have ideal circumstances and situations.

    Verses 2-5 give us insight into how to Bless the Lord with our soul.

    Forget not HIS benefits:
    HE forgives my sins
    HE heals my diseases
    HE keeps me from destruction
    HE crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies
    HE satisfies my requests with GOOD things
    HE keeps me relevant in life

    VICTORIOUS THINKING begins with our Praise to Lord for all HE HAS DONE.

    ****MISTAKE****

    Thinking about what HE hasn’t done. This is the scheme and plan of satan to destroy your FAITH. Our flesh will remind us of what we did wrong and satan will remind us of the things that we prayed for that we didn’t witness come to pass.

    But, we demonstrate our FAITH in GOD when we remember all HIS Benefits above what he didn’t do that we requested.

  16. “For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    It is so comforting to read those words “ As far as the east is from the west….. he removed our transgressions from us.” We have all committed transgressions. And the weight that comes with it is unbearable at times. But we serve a God that removes it. Who can compare to our God? He truly is the King of kings and Lord of lords. And no one can compare to Him.

  17. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

    There are promises and benefits of blessing the Lord. For one if we live in an attitude of blessing the Lord and thankfulness, our attitude and outlook on life changes. Two, we are awarded the benefits of forgiveness of our inquiries, health for our disease, redemption from our sinful past and His lovingkindness toward us.

    The word bless or blessing occurs over 400 times in the bible. Perhaps we should allow God to change our language from complaining to blessing, and we would experience a greater impact on those around us.

  18. “For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    I have no idea if David knew the shape of the 🌎earth, but the Holy Spirit who inspired David to ✏️write this did, and the nature of the earth and our way of describing directions makes this statement particularly inspiring.

    Given the true shape of the 🌍earth, ⬅️east and ➡️west never meet and this is how far God has removed our sins from us!
    As the east and the west can never meet in one point, but be for ever at the same distance from each other, so our sins are removed to an eternal distance by his mercy.
    God loves us ❤️❤️❤️ and he will love us for ever. He loves us infinitely, and he could not love us more than if we had never fallen.

  19. 8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
    9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
    10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
    11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

    I praise God for his mercy and grace, for turning his anger and forgiving me of my sins. How else could a sinner come to him and be born again? Then as he guides us in this new life in him, he continues to point out our faults and gives us a time to repent and continue this journey with him in a closer relationship. That’s what we need, to continue to draw closer to him, becoming more like him. Again, thank you Jesus for all your benefits and blessings, for your mercy and grace!

  20. Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

    At all times in everything I will bless the Lord .

  21. 15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

    16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

    17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    This should be present today more than ever for it rains in the just and the unjust that simple. We as children of the Lord should never fear death for to die in Christ is a gain, but we MUST exercise wisdom, follow the instructions given, and pray for others. Share JESUS everywhere you go for the time is here NOW is the day of salvation!!!! We can’t waste time, today more than ever this verse is true and life is like a vapor here today and gone tomorrow . So talk about Jesus, share about Jesus, and always be about Jesus business. Pray at all times for the Bridegroom is coming!!!!

  22. Psalm 103

    1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
    5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    I will bless the Lord Jesus because of his mercy and grace. There is no Other god like Jesus, he is our healer our redeemer and our help in time of trouble.

  23. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    True Worship starts inward, in our heart, our soul. When we are right with God and begin to worship him in our heart and soul, it can then be shown through our outward expressions.

    “Bless the Lord, oh my soul and everything inside of me.“

  24. “God has set up his kingdom in heaven, and he rules the whole creation. All of you mighty angels, who obey God’s commands, come and praise your Lord! All of you thousands who serve and obey God, come and praise your Lord! All of God’s creation and all that he rules, come and praise your Lord! With all my heart I praise the Lord!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:19-22‬ ‭CEV‬‬

    What a feeling of liberation in just reading these scriptures!! That is exactly what the word of GOD does. There is freedom in your spirit. Not bound by your sin or this world!

    “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  25. “Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    His will be done! Like David Smith said, He’s a God that cannot move because He is everywhere all the time! We may not understand His ways but we must remember even when we can’t see it or feel it He is still working. I thank God that throughout time He remains the same. I pray we remember God has our best interest at heart and will never forsake the righteous!

  26. Psalms 103:1, “BLESS the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.”

    What a beautiful and encouraging chapter to read this morning. It’s a reminder of why we should BLESS the LORD with our soul and ALL That Is Within Us. (Not with a half hearted praise or worship).
    Why? Because…
    He forgiveth all thine iniquities
    He healeth all thy diseases
    He redeemeth thy life
    He crowns thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies
    He satisfieth thy mouth with good things
    He is merciful and gracious
    He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities
    He has removed our transgressions far from us, as far as the east is from the west
    His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting

    So, Thank You JESUS for All You have done for me! Thank You JESUS for Your Mercy and Grace!!
    I will BLESS You LORD and ALL that is within me!! Your Praise shall be continually in my mouth!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!

  27. 9He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever.
    God will not remain angry at you, unlike men. Families have been torn apart because they are angry at each other. The remain angry for days, months, or years. They don’t know how to forgive one another, and hold that grudge. We all need to learn and forgive one another, especially relatives.

  28. “Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits;”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:1-2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

    In all that we do let’s not forget to bless the lord. There is nothing that he can’t do. Regardless of what the situation may look like don’t forget that he can do it. There is nothing to hard for god. Put your faith in him and take a step back and watch him work.

    ““I am the Lord, the God of all people. Nothing is too difficult for me.”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭32:27‬ ‭GNT‬‬

  29. The Lord is good all the time even when life seems not to be good sometimes

    Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
    Proverbs 4:23

  30. 17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    God’s mercy is everlasting to everlasting, meaning that it continued unto eternity unto eternity. What an awesome God we serve.

  31. “God’s love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him” MSG

    If there is one thing that is consistent and never-ending is God’s Love.

    Like the song “Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
    Oh, it chases me down, fights ’til I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine
    I couldn’t earn it, and I don’t deserve it, still, You give Yourself away
    Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God”.

  32. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

    In life we are on the mountain top sometimes and sometimes in the valley, but know matter where we are we need to remember the benefits of Jesus, who is our rock and our strong tower. He forgives all our sins and healeth all our diseases. He is a mighty God. Thank you Jesus for all your benefits and not rewarding us according to our sins.

  33. 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

    No matter what we may go through in life God is always above it and is in control of it all, all we have to do is allow him to move in the situation and not try to restrict him from doing his will. We must always stay obedient to him and his word no matter what may happen.

  34. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
    Psalms 103:3‭-‬5 NLT

    Because He Loved me and had mercy on me. He gave His life and shed His blood for me and my sins.
    With this He gave me life, joy, and renewed strength. Thank you Jesus for every blessing you have given me.

  35. 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

    I will bless the Lord for all He has done! The Lord has forgiven all my iniquities and in my time of need he has healed me. He doesn’t just heal us when we are physically sick but eventually, emotionally, spiritually. He cares about us as a whole.

  36. 1-2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,

    With everything we have let us praise God in any situation. Let us not forget all He has and will do. When we seek after God there is nothing but to praise Him for all his works!

  37. As far as the East is from the West.

    When you first hear this statement it may not register completely what God is saying here. If you start traveling west you will never find yourself going East. The distance between East and west is infinite because they never meet. So God is saying he will never find your faults again.

  38. Our heartfelt worship still pleases God.
    Blessed the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

  39. 10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

    His Grace!

    If it wasn’t for his unmerited favor, where would we be? Even the best of man kind falls short of his glory. I remember a comedian said, I’m a Christian because all the other religions wouldn’t have someone like me.

    He’s right, we are so wretched, lost, misguided, undeserving. And just to think of what he did for love, he thought of me, as he was giving his life for me in the crucifixion.

  40. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    He is Good. The problem with us is that sometimes, we focus on the immediate problem, situation or pain. We tend to react like a nerve. At the instant some thing impact cuts or wounds like lightening we feel the pain. And I’m not diminishing what we go through. Not saying that things do not hurt or to ignore your feelings or pain, becuase is real. It is very real and it matters. The fact that you feel it it saying to your body that something is wrong, something is off. Yet in and through it all, the word, the psalmist in this scripture, reminds us what we must do. And what we should not forget. Bless and remember. Bless the Lord all my soul and forget not all his benefits. When you really sit and take account. He is so good to us. Remember what he does for us, for you. Remember what he is taking care off. And remember they you can cry out to him in the moment of trouble, and he promises to answer.

    From a song that ministers to my life and heart

    Remember
    -Bryan & Katie Trowalt
    How quickly we forget the God
    Who lives in everyday
    How easy to lose sight that You
    Reside in the mundane
    How quickly we forget the power
    That’s running through our veins
    The kind of power that empties graves

    And oh my soul
    Remember who you’re talking to
    The only one who death bows to
    That’s the God who walks with you

    And oh my soul
    You know that if He did it then
    He can do it all again
    His power can still raise the dead
    Don’t tell me that He’s finished yet

    Lest we not forget the voice
    That’s holding back the waves
    Was once the voice that told the skies
    To pour them into place
    Let us join the endless song of everlasting praise
    The only God who empties graves

    Oh my soul
    Remember who you’re talking to
    The only one who death bows to
    That’s the God who walks with you…

  41. 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

    5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    Amen

  42. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    This is one of my favorite hymnals. This is one of my go-to songs when starting in pray or finishing up prayers during my daily personal time. Belting this one out always makes me feel good as I lift up His name.

    6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
    7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
    8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

    It is also so sweet to know that we have a God that looks on the oppressed with righteousness and judgment. That is is so merciful and gracious! Grace and mercy go along ways for most of us, at great lengths and for ways most of us do not deserve. Most of us can also be thankful that He is slow to anger and gives out so much mercy. Even though we don’t deserve. We are very grateful and appreciative.

  43. “He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:9-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

    No, God won’t always be upset with us when we mess up but it doesn’t mean we should take advantage of his love, mercy, and grace.

  44. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

    I’m reminded again where God has brought me out.
    As I was sharing my testimony earlier this morning I was easily brought back to the exact thoughts and pins I had once had living a life of sin. Sometimes I feel like God allows us to feel those pains to remind us how good he really is. I was sharing my testimony and I’ve realized that the best way to share is to show and describe how you once was. It’s like letting those memories surface but only for the glory of the Lord. See once what the enemy had used for evil is now being used to glorify God. He knows what he’s doing everybody.

  45. 1. BLESS THE LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    2. BLESS THE LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    20. BLESS THE LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

    21. BLESS YE THE LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

    22. BLESS THE LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

    Bless the Lord, Oh my soul
    And all that is within me
    Bless His holy Name
    For He has done great things
    He has done great things
    He has done great things
    Bless His holy Name
    -Andrae Crouch

  46. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    We often praise and thank God with a half heart and a half effort – or less! David called for everything within him (all that is within me) to give honor and praise to God.

  47. There are so many reasons to bless the Lord! He is great and wonderful. I know there are opportunities to focus on other things, but we have to bless him instead. He is far more good than anything this world can provide. We have to remember and honor him and bless him.
