Psalm Chapter 2 – Chronological

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

  2. Verses 10-12 MSG “So, rebel-kings, use your heads; Upstart-judges, learn your lesson: Worship God in adoring embrace, Celebrate in trembling awe. Kiss Messiah! Your very lives are in danger, you know; His anger is about to explode, But if you make a run for God—you won’t regret it!” This reminds me of song “I Will Run”:

    Only Your grace
    Only Your grace
Only You can set me free

    Only Your love
    Has captured my heart
    I hear You calling
    Come come come

    So I will run
    Forever I will run
    Unto You oh God
And now You have my heart

So I will I will run
    Forever I will run
    Run to You oh God
    Where else can I go
    Forever I will run

  3. …How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] are all those who take refuge in Him!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2:12‬ ‭

I would not want to live any other way. Seeing all the current events happening before our eyes, I will only want to take 100% refuge in the Lord and nothing else.

1 John 4: 18 [ amp] There is no fear in love ( dread does not exist) , But full- grown ( complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment , and [ so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [ is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection].
Perfect love cast’s out fear !
    Serve the Lord with gladness!
    Serve the Lord with Joy!
    Worship the Lord with Joy!

  5. God is my light, my refuge and my strength. I will walk with him all the days of my life. I want to dine with him and converse with him and tell his arms around me till eternity.

  6. 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
The Lord should be given credit for the authority the ruler have. It the oride if the ruler’s, which will lead to the wrath of God upon them.

  7. 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us

There is no place on Earth that compares so what’s in store for us in the future in heaven. There’s no accomplishment, no purpose no position in this world that matches the purpose and fulfillment of working for the kingdom of God. This world has set a standard for success and based it upon particular accomplishments and social statuses when all of it brings absolutely no glory to God. When we set our sights on heaven, when we put our purpose in the kingdom and impacting other people and the way that God originally intended us to then there is no higher calling.

  8. Psalms 2
12…..Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Trust a five letter word with an abundance of depth. Everyone is seeking someone they can trust. Two must important words I hear from most every couple working on relationships are trust and communication. It is time to stay fully committed to God through communication with Him daily and knowing we can trust in Him .
    The definition of trust is
firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.

    How big is our God?
How reliable is our God ?
    How strong is our God?

    Psalms 20:7
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. O LORD, save the king!

    Proverbs 3:5
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

  10. Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling. Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!

I delight in You, my King. I take refuge in Your loving arms.

  11. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

The Lord is great and mighty, truly terrible in that we stand in awe of all He does! He deserves all the glory and all the honor!

  12. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

David always took refuge in the Lord, his strength was in God. The Lord should be our strength and salvation. We are blessed because we trust in Him. The only way for us to have victory over anything, is to put our trust in Jesus. He is our answer to every need. Bless the Lord all my soul and all that is within me.

  13. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

There are many reasons why we must trust God with all our hearts. Those who trust in God, trust Him face to face and when He turns His back. We see it in Job no matter what, Job trusted in God. The troubles will come that’s a given for we are all still living in this world; but when we trust in God with all our mind and heart we know He will turn whatever situation into your testimony!!!
Trust as a verb means a believe in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of. In little words when we trust in the Lord at all times, we are saying, we have seen your marvelous works, we have heard about all your miracles, and we have experienced your Goodness and Mercy. Therefore, we consciously know that you will do the very best for us and we will await your next miracle in our lives. You are accepting that our God Jesus Christ is someone we can rely on. A couple of day back someone I don’t remember his name posted something to do if you rather be a Christian but a beggar or a sinner but rich. That was simple I rather be a Christian Beggar because I trust and believe in God’s goodness and mercies and I know that I may not have everything I want but I have everything I need for I trust in my God. I LACK NOTHING!!!

  14. God positions leaders. He is the one who puts people in their place. It doesn’t matter how much people say about them, if God put them there they will be there. We should pray for our leaders, whether we like them or not, that God would guide and direct each and every action they take. That they would use Godly wisdom and council. That their steps would be ordered.

It’s when challenges arise that we see if we truly trust and follow God’s plan or if we think that our limited thinking and reasoning is better than his all knowing knowledge.

  15. 10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Holy God from whom all blessings flow, I stand I awe of You!

  16. Psa 2:12  Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Seek ye first the Kingdom and blessing will continue in your life. Scripture after scripture we see simple instructions to seek God and trust him in order to be blessed. Do what our flesh don’t want to do everybody and pray, fast, read and watch God do something for you.

  17. 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

This chapter reminds me of the world we’re living in today. The devil is trying to make the United States of America to become a capitalism nation. But God is in control of everything that goes on in the world today he always has been and he always will be in control.

  18. 10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

For the ungodly rulers of this day, their ways seem right to them and those deceived who follow them. But in time, all ways except God’s way will fail and fall. No matter what other folks believe and do, we must follow the Lord our God. The fear (healthy respect) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

  19. Psalm 2

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

  20. MSG – 1-6 Why the big noise, nations?
    Why the mean plots, peoples?
    Earth-leaders push for position,
Demagogues and delegates meet for summit talks,
    The God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers:
    “Let’s get free of God!
    Cast loose from Messiah!”
    Heaven-throned God breaks out laughing.
    At first he’s amused at their presumption;
Then he gets good and angry.
    Furiously, he shuts them up:
“Don’t you know there’s a King in Zion? A coronation banquet
Is spread for him on the holy summit.”
7-9 Let me tell you what God said next.
    He said, “You’re my son,
    And today is your birthday.
What do you want? Name it:
Nations as a present? continents as a prize?
You can command them all to dance for you,
Or throw them out with tomorrow’s trash.”
    10-12 So, rebel-kings, use your heads;
    Upstart-judges, learn your lesson:
    Worship God in adoring embrace,
Celebrate in trembling awe. Kiss Messiah!
    Your very lives are in danger, you know;
His anger is about to explode,
But if you make a run for God—you won’t regret it!

If this isn’t the world we are experiencing right now, I don’t know what is. But as we read in the last verse – anyone who turns to God will be received with open arms. God is loving, kind, generous and willing all anyone has to do is make the first step.

  21. 2:11 serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
    —-

More than ever… Now let us do our part, let us be aware of the times we are living, let us seek the Lord ( his face) and his power.
Let us recognized his voice for I am ( we are) his servant.
    I repent
    I seek the Lord
    I listen
    I trust.
NOT my will, but YOURS be done.
    In Jesus name.

  22. 1 “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?”

Ignorance is a lack of knowledge and information. The word “ignorant” is an adjective that describes a person in the state of not knowing God and His sovereignty.

  23. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

It does not matter who you are, it does not matter where you come from, and it does not matter what your name is, the only things that matter is the fact that you serve God with gladness and rejoice in Him while you are serving. If we trust him in all we do, we must not be afraid of stepping out in faith. He has already ordered our steps and anointed out pathways. The scripture states that it is the wise that serve the lord with fear. We have to place priorities on the things of the kingdom and not the things of this world.

He is the creator and we are the creation, we have to show our love for him because of all he has done for each of us. Remember we have to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then everything we have need of will be supplied.

  24. I learned that why did the humans rage and the people have no clue and all the kings And leaders we’re against the Lord that’s what I learned

  25. in this chapter it was mainly about trust. God had to trust his people to believe in them in order for them to do his work! depending on how we chose to live our lives, God may trust us to do mighty things for his kingdom. We are able to do that by worship, praise, fasting, and prayer. Be apart of the church and do great and mighty things for his kingdom! Chose to be worthy and might to do great things! FOLLOW IN HIS NAME POFW!!!!

  26. “Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Those who defy God are broken, but those who depend on Him are blessed. The Psalmist leaves the choice with everyone: Broken or Blessed? Which do you choose?

  27. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    THE BLESSING

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

The WORD of GOD is filled with formulas and patterns for us to learn and live by. The does not refer to them as formulas or patterns, but we understand that is what they are. Formulas for VICTORY, BLESSINGS, PEACE, JOY, STRENGTH, ETC.

This 2nd Psalm reveals a key formula for BLESSING. Verse 12 concludes the fact and lesson. 12 … Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

We are BLESSED when we TRUST JESUS. But TRUST is gained or built as we SERVE JESUS.

SERVE – 5647 aw-bad´; a primitive root; to work (in any sense); by implication, to serve, till, (causatively) enslave, etc.:—x be, keep in bondage, be bondmen, bond-service, compel, do, dress, ear, execute, + husbandman, keep, labour(-ing man, bring to pass, (cause to, make to) serve(-ing, self), (be, become) servant(-s), do (use) service, till(-er), transgress (from margin), (set a) work, be wrought, worshipper,

SERVE means WORK for the LORD with FEAR or REVERENCE and RESPECT then we REJOICE with TREMBLING at HIS Glory.

The FORMULA for THE BLESSING of the LORD is to SERVE or WORK for the LORD.

    iServe
    iAmBlessed

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iLive
    iReap
    iGo

  28. What a crazy mixed up, sad world we live in. The “news” is revealed to what the government wants us to hear. God has been taken out of schools and our government. I am glad we have a loving God whom we serve. To escape this sad world, we have our Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful for our church and our Lord Jesus Christ!

  29. 1 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

When we make the choice to serve the Lord with a Holy fear, we will not be as the heathen. We are living in a very sad day. When the fear of the Lord is none existent in homes and disappearing from our nation. It is our responsibility to combat this tactic of the enemy and teach and exercise our faith out loud. We are to live Holy before God and man and do our best to expand His Kingdom. let us learn to rejoice in all things and fear the Lord.

  30. Psalms 2:10-12
    10) Be wise now therefore, O ye kings; be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
    11) Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
    12) Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

As I read these scriptures, 1 Timothy 2:1-2 came to mind.
    1) I EXHORT therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
    2) For kings, and for all that are in authority;…

As a child of God, NOW MORE than every before, we need to make supplications and pray and intercede for our nation. We need to pray and intercede for our mayor and leaders of Fort Worth. We need to pray and intercede for our governor and leaders of Texas. We need to pray and intercede for our President, our Vice President, and all leaders in our government. We need to pray and intercede for their Salvation. We need to pray and intercede for them to Serve the LORD with fear and Submit themselves to God. We need to pray and intercede for them to Put their Trust in God, so that we can be a Blessed nation.

Our Pray Every Day card says…
I pray for the Leaders of Fort Worth, along with Tarrant and Surrounding Counties, Our Nation and Around the World. Lord Jesus this day I’m asking you to give them Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding. Give them a Heart of Peace and not a Heart of War. I Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and the Peace of Israel. God Protect Them in Jesus name.

  31. 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

What these kings did not realize is that the earth is the Lords and all that is therein. When people rise up against Gods people they do not realize or take in account the power of God. The same power that crushed the enemy lives inside us today. Same power!!!

  32. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Sorry ya’ll but this reminds me of the landscape that we are living in today. If ya’ll want to know the truth, if Jesus Christ himself were leader of the free world according to this verse folks would just “lose their mind”. We have to open our eyes and understand that folks literally hate the Lord and take counsel against his people. This is the atmosphere that we live in today and they will try at all means possible to break any biblical principle they can.

  33. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Relationships are built on trust. You are closest to those whom you trust in the most.

If we cannot put our trust in Him, what does that say about our relationship with Him?

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  34. 8 Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. NLT

    Genesis 1:
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

Our Father created the whole Earth and everything in it, and it is still His to give to His Children as an inheritance as He sees fit.

  35. God’s Holy Mountain
The phrase God’s holy mountain appears 18 times in the Old Testament; and though it defines two significant locations during different periods of history, in reality it points to the same piece of real estate on this earth. And by scanning the past, present, and prophetic significance of this most sacred plot of land, the most unique in the entire universe, we see God’s plan come into focus as it never has before. The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel defined the location of “God’s holy mountain” when in prayer he begged the Lord to turn His wrath away from the city of Jerusalem, “thy holy mountain” (Dan. 9:16). Daniel also presented his supplications to the Lord for “the holy mountain of my God” (Dan. 9:20). Other Scriptures advance our understanding of the term holy mountain of God. It actually refers to the Temple Mount in the city of Jerusalem, as in Daniel 11:45, which speaks of the spot where the Antichrist will establish the long-awaited Temple for the Jewish people at the onset of the Tribulation. The Temple Mount, as it is known today, is Mount Moriah, where God told Abraham to take his son Isaac and offer him as a sacrifice (Gen. 22). It is also the location of the threshing floor that King David purchased from the Jebusite Ornan (also called Araunah, 2 Sam. 24:18-25; 1 Chr. 21:18–30). The third king of Israel, Solomon, took seven years to build the first Jewish Temple on that same Mount Moriah, the Temple Mount (2 Chr. 3:1). After the Babylonian Empire fell in 539 BC, Cyrus, leader of the Medo-Persian Empire, allowed the Jewish people to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple on the same spot where the first Temple had stood: Mount Moriah, the Temple Mount (Ezra 1:2–4). This second Temple was actually remodeled into one of the most magnificent buildings in the world under the leadership of Herod the Great, taking some 46 years to refurbish.

What does a mountain represent spiritually?
The mountain is thought to contain divine inspiration, and it is the focus of pilgrimages of transcendence and spiritual elevation. It is a universal symbol of the nearness of God, as it surpasses ordinary humanity and extends toward the SKY and the heavens. It symbolizes constancy, permanence, motionlessness, and its peak spiritually signifies the state of absolute

  36. “Now therefore, O kings, act wisely; Be instructed and take warning, O leaders (judges, rulers) of the earth.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Proverbs 1:7 says The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and knowledge. This warning is telling us that although God has given us the victory, we still need to be wise about our choices. We still need His instruction, His guidance to get us through this life. Temptation will still come and it is a foolish decision to not be girded in the armor of God because we thought the battle was over.

I thank God for His instruction and wisdom He gives. I pray we heed to His word, not acting like fools but like the royal priesthood we really are!

  37. 10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

We have to lean on His wisdom as we lead others, and make righteousness judgement calls on all our decisions as we are representing Jesus and people are watching our every move…

  38. Psalm 2:12

“Blessed are all they that put their trust in him”

    Proverbs 3:5–6
    5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.

    6. In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

“I lean on you, Lord, I lean on you, Lord,
for the things that I need I lean on you.
When I don’t know just what to do,
I’ve got to think you’re gonna see me through
to supply my every need I lean on You”

  39. “The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.”

Do not go against God surely you will lose we must see the Lord’s rules as a prison cause if we Christian truely love the Lord then we will keep his commandments.

  40. Serve the Lord with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling. Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!
    Psalms 2:11‭-‬12 NLT

One of the keys in serving Him is submission. Submission to His Word, submission to His kingdom. Rendering ourselves completely to Him and depending completely on Him is what God really wants from us. Doing this We are and will be blessed. He is our only source.

  41. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Ask him and he will give it too

  42. 10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

Any ruler would be wise to head the Word of God. There will be blessing in it.

  43. 11-12 Worship God in adoring embrace, Celebrate in trembling awe. Kiss Messiah! Your very lives are in danger, you know; His anger is about to explode, But if you make a run for God — you won’t regret it!

Come running after God with worship and find refuge in Him. When we seek God we’ll see His power that nothing can stand against. In everything praise Him!

  44. “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Give all glory and honor due to His name and rejoice for the Lord’s mercy endurance forever.

  45. 1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

Isn’t this the question for the day and age we live in!
What makes people stop using their brains and act completely ignorant? These riots and looting for the cause of reparations just misses the whole point of reparations completely. The point of a reparation is to make someone pay back what was wrongfully taken. These business owners and innocent people that these idiots are hurting have no responsibility in reparations toward a group of people who were not taken from. Why do the heathen rage and get people imagine a vain thing?

  46. 10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

God instructing our worlds leaders, kings, presidents, judges to all be wise! To fear the Lord and rejoice with trembling. What are you looking for in a leader?? Who do you follow, when following a person in authority and leadership?? Are you following someone who still believes in biblical principles or someone who takes today’s society in stride and builds on those basis’?? Be careful in who you back and who you lift up and who you announce to other people who you are supporting and for what causes. It could change your reputation and how people treat you in the long run.

12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

“Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
“Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
“Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.”
Who do you put your trust in today?? God, Pastor, worldly leaders, doctors, etc.??? Be careful who you put your trust in and always pray about those decisions.

  47. “Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.”

Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2:1-3, 12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I’m thankful God kept me under his protection while growing up, there’s a lot I can testify I have never fallen into or meddled with. Who know what my life would be like had I felt the need to “break free” from what God actually had in store for me. My heart aches for those that felt like “breaking free” from God was a good solution, as if the freedom felt in his presence could be compared to any “freedom” they may find in this world. Young people, don’t be ashamed of never having experienced what this world has to offer, the freedom they offer will only bind you and break you until there is nothing left. But stand tall and be proud of only knowing Him, stay in his refuge and you will have freedom unlike any other!

  48. 2The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one.

Many nations don’t believe in Jesus and is not their religion. The worship other gods, and some nations forcefully put their god onto their people. The don’t have the freedom to serve Jesus. We who have the freedom should always be worshiping, praising and serving God.

  49. 3“Let us break their chains,” they cry, and free ourselves from slavery to God.”

The adversary will always work against Jesus. Most times he will attempt mimic the ways of God. He would like you to think you have chains around you locking you into submission. All while deceiving you into the chains of sin, which as we know only leads to death.

12 “…But what joy for all who take refuge in him!”

True joy comes from the Lord. Joy doesn’t come from the things of this world, but from the Lord and actively participating in His Will. We’ve heard “my worst day in the Kingdom is better than my best day in the world”. The world declares that true.

Living and Giving Jesus everyday will free our minds, and allow us to process true freedom and joy!
