Psalm Chapter 89 – Chronological

I will sing of the mercies of the Lordfor ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.

16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

17 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

18 For the Lord is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

38 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

39 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

42 Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

44 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.

46 How long, Lord? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

48 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

49 Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

51 Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Lord; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

52 Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

  1. “Your love, GOD, is my song, and I’ll sing it! I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are. I’ll never quit telling the story of your love— how you built the cosmos and guaranteed everything in it. Your love has always been our lives’ foundation, your fidelity has been the roof over our world. You once said, “I joined forces with my chosen leader, I pledged my word to my servant, David, saying, ‘Everyone descending from you is guaranteed life; I’ll make your rule as solid and lasting as rock.’””
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭89:1-4‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Yesterday I was talking to my niece about my past before the LORD drew me to Him. Immediately I started praising and being thankful! I said LORD thank you for giving me a new song to sing!!! My life has never been the same ever since He has filled me with the Holy Ghost. I started to think of His faithfulness towards me and despite of all my failures, He has kept His promises. He alone deserves our praise. For worthy is HIS name. No matter what life brings your way, never stop singing His praise.

“Oh, let me sing to GOD all my life long, sing hymns to my God as long as I live! Oh, let my song please him; I’m so pleased to be singing to GOD.
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭104:33-35‬ ‭MSG‬‬

  2. Thank you Jesus for another day – he is our healer , mediator , King forever

I will sing of the Lord ’s unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens. ‘I will establish your descendants as kings forever; they will sit on your throne from now until eternity.’” Interlude Praise the Lord forever! Amen and amen!
    Psalms 89:1‭-‬2‭, ‬4‭, ‬52

  3. 1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lordfor ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

When David penned this psalm he started out with praises unto the Lord for his great mercies and his compassion upon him. And then during the rest of the psalm he brings about the grievances that has arisen against him. But like David we should always start our days with what God has done for us, we should boast of the goodness and all his mercies that has been placed in our lives. We should be able to walk in the glory of the Lord no matter how many problems and circumstances that come our way. We are more than conquerors through Jesus mighty name. We have to allow the name of Jesus be spoken off our tongues from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same. We are praise his name continually. Living Jesus to give Jesus.

  4. Verses 1-4 MSG “1-4 Your love, God, is my song, and I’ll sing it! I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are. I’ll never quit telling the story of your love—how you built the cosmos and guaranteed everything in it. Your love has always been our lives’ foundation, your fidelity has been the roof over our world. You once said, “I joined forces with my chosen leader, I pledged my word to my servant, David, saying, ‘Everyone descending from you is guaranteed life; I’ll make your rule as solid and lasting as rock.’” We must never stop sharing the love of God with others because God’s love never quits as we read in Psalm 136:1-3 MSG “Thank God! He deserves your thanks. His love never quits. Thank the God of all gods, His love never quits. Thank the Lord of all lords. His love never quits.”

  5. 11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

My God is more than enough
He can supply all my needs
    He is my El Shaddai
He always looks out for me
Jehovah Jireh, He is my God
Jehovah Jireh, He is my God

All of the earth is His
    And the fullness thereof
    Everything that I need
    You can be sure of
Jehovah Jireh, He is my God
Jehovah Jireh, He is my God

  6. “You are their glorious strength. It pleases you to make us strong.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

In Jesus we have strength, He makes us strong to overcome anything that gets on our way.
He makes us strong to have VICTORY!

  7. Ps. 89:8-9 [ amp] O Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord? And Your faithfulness is round about You [ an essential part of You at all times.
[9] You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves arise. You still them.
Matt. 8:26 [ amp] And He said to them, Why are you timid and afraid, O you of little faith? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great and wonder calm ( a perfect peaceableness )
Jesus is our rescuer , even when we are having storms in our lives.
Don’t Be Afraid , Jesus is our rescuer, He never stops

  8. May Gods seed that is planted in me continue to flourish. May the Holy Ghost in me continue to shine for others to see Jesus in me. Live Jesus Give Jesus

  9. Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, Lord . They rejoice all day long in your wonderful reputation. They exult in your righteousness. You are their glorious strength. It pleases you to make us strong. Yes, our protection comes from the Lord , and he, the Holy One of Israel, has given us our king.
    Psalms 89:15‭-‬18 NLT

What an an honor and a privilege to know the king of Kings; to know we serve the one and only true and living God; to know our God loves us and desires relationship with us. We are blessed and given so many promises through His Word. He deserves our best and highest praise and thanksgiving!

  10. 32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips

When God says it, it is established and it will be done. What we need to do as a church is to learn how to be sensitive to the voice of God and know whenever he is speaking to us and differentiate his voice between hours. If God tells us something, you can take it to the bank because it’s going to happen, and however we can very easily deceive ourselves with what we want and be convinced that it was of God. The more we learn to listen, the more we’re going to be able to recognize when he speaks, and the more we’re going to be able to trust him when he says what he’s going to do.

  11. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

8 O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

  12. Psalms 89
9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

What more could we ask for?
Prince of Peace yet Strong and Powerful.
In the Presence of Jehovah .

  13. Que lindo es saber la dedicacion que nuestro senor JESUS nos ensena su Amor para quien le sirve. Gracias senor JESUS.

  14. “For who in the heavens can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD?

The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:6, 11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Lord has no rival and no equal. Nothing and no one can compare to how great and mighty our Lord God is. All of creation belongs to the Lord. What a privilege and a blessing it is to know I have direct access to the Creator, the Lord God Almighty who reigns forever. Praise be the name of Jesus!

  15. “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I met a lady yesterday who was 78 years old. I’m her lifetime she had woken up on the embalming table twice and outlived the funeral director that was going to prepare her for her casket. As I was a bout to leave, she gave me two pieces of advice – Wait in the Lord for an answer and ALWAYS praise Him. Such wisdom and encouragement for me, a 23 year old, to hear of how merciful and faithful God has been to someone in their life. I believe she was embodying this scripture that the generations need to know that God has always been and will always be a faithful God.

I thank God He is the same yesterday, today and forever! I pray we continue to reach out to different generations, learning and teaching of His faithfulness. It starts with a conversation.

  16. 1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lordfor ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

5 “O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.”

a cry for help from desperate broken soul. That day will come everybody goes through it the good news is it’s only 24 hours day there’s a new day coming with full of mercies just hold on.

  17. 89:15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound
They shall walk oh Lord in the light of your
    Countenance.
    ———
Lord your loyal followers are happy
They live in the light of your kindness.
    ——

    .This is powerful !!

  18. Psalm 89 MSG
1-4 Your love, God, is my song, and I’ll sing it!
I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are.
I’ll never quit telling the story of your love—
    how you built the cosmos
    and guaranteed everything in it.
Your love has always been our lives’ foundation,
your fidelity has been the roof over our world.

Can you only imagine what kind of revival we would have if all that came out of our lips were all His wonderful works and miracles that we see and experience through out the day!!!! If only you would share where He found you and took you out of whatever sinful life you had. Mine was simple, the seed of your truth had already been played by my sweet aunt but it never germinated fully because my mom wouldn’t accepted she was very Catholic. I argue with the Catholic priest because I started reading the Bible but his response was that I was not meant to understand the Bible. After I joined the US Army and one Saturday morning there was a knock on the doors of my barracks (military dorms) and I was invited to church it has been 37 years since I got baptized in Jesus Name in the Pacific Ocean and was filled with the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues. What a wonderful experience that was and I have never been alone since then!!! Jesus is always with me. Thank you Jesus for filling me with your Spirit and saving my soul. God is awesome!!!!!

  19. I will sing of the Lord ’s unfailing love forever! Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.
    Psalms 89:1‭-‬2 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.89.1-2.NLT

My God is faithful!!!! He never forgets, never abandons, never forsakes His children. He is so Righteous and Glorious! Praise His Mighty Name!

  20. Psalms 89:1 (KJV), “I WILL sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.”
Psalms 89:1 (VOICE), “I will sing of Your unfailing love, Eternal One, forever. I will speak of Your faithfulness to all generations.”

There are 2 things we should always being doing with our mouth. One, we should always be SINGING and Praising our God for his mercy and his unfailing love. (HIs Praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalms 34:1). And two, we should always be SPEAKING and Making Known to all generations (to all people) the faithfulness and goodness of God. We should always share the Good News of the Gospel.

We should always be LIVING JESUS, so that we can always be GIVING JESUS!

  21. Psa 89:3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

David’s beginning was very humble – a shepard attending his father’s sheep in the field, disliked by his brothers, yet God saw something in his pure spirit that would draw them together. This relationship born out of loneliness on David’s part, drew him to the best relationship of all – Jesus. In return he was given a covenant which promised that what God brought him to, God would bring him through. He anointed him, strengthened him, protected him when he was running from Saul, gave him victory over many armies, was granted mercy when he failed and was aware daily of the faithfulness of God. What a covenant.

We too are granted the opportunity to be in covenant with God. We have His word to lead and guide us, to give us daily wisdom and knowledge, to encourage when we are weak, to pick us up when we have fallen, to strengthen us during the journey, to be a light in the darkness, a joy that is our strength, a peace that passes all understanding – whatever we have need of His word declares He will supply our needs according to His riches in glory. What promises we have to live by!

  22. iLove the Kingdom of Justice
14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

This world is filled with absolute evil. It seems as if some folks get away with murder. Constantly we hear on the news of people getting shot and people being killed, some for no apparent reason at all. Some may wonder why the God of heaven allows this great injustice. Well, it’s not God’s fault. He gave us freedom of choice and with that freedom he allows men to have a choice. Do right or do wrong. But there are everlasting consequences if we choose to do wrong. Mercy and Truth will one day be handed out at judgement. God will not be mocked.

  23. Psalms 89:6
For who in all of heaven can compare with the lord?  What mightiest angel is anything like the lord?

    Water You turned into wine
Opened the eyes of the blind
    There’s no one like you
    None like you
    Into the darkness You shine
Out of the ashes we rise
    There’s No one like you
    None like you
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome in power
    Our God, Our God
    Into the darkness you shining
Out of the ashes we Rise
    No one like you
    None like you
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us?
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
    Then what can stand against?
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome in power
    Our God, Our God
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome in power
    Our God, Our God

  24. “For who in all of heaven can compare with the Lord? What mightiest angel is there anything like the Lord?” Psalm 8 9:6

There is only one God. No one is ever going to be my
like our Lord Jesus. No angel not anyone is perfect like God. Our God can heal the sick, the blind, the deaf, the lame, calm the seas, do absolutely anything. We should love our Lord with our heart and soul.

  25. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    KEEP SINGING

1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

JESUS warns us John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The thief: satan, the devil, lucifer has come for one purpose.

    Steal my JOY
    Destroy my FAITH
    Kill my PRAISE

    BUT

JESUS brings us LIFE through HIS Mercy. When we sing we make known HIS mercies and declare to all generations that we are HIS. This frustrates the thief and brings HOPE to others.

When we sing of the mercies of the LORD we declare of whose we are and share who HE is to the world. LIVE and GIVE JESUS when we sing of HIS Praise.

I encourage you today to KEEP SINGING

Isaiah 30:29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.
30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

KEEP SINGING in your night season and the LIGHT of HIS glory will shine upon us.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    IGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  26. 7 The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God. He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne.

If they are are in awe, of all the great things God has created, we too should be in awe. Yes, angels may have first hand experience of all the great things God does, the miracles and blessings. But we are his creation, we should be grateful for the air we breathe, the blessings we receive, the miracles we see. Praise God, and thank God!

  27. 17 “You are their glorious strength. It pleases you to make us strong.”

The Lord does not wish for us to be weak, and unable to complete His Will. That mindset could only come from the adversary to sow a seed of confusion. That during the time when you feel weak, it is when God is able to show His Strength!

  28. “But I will never stop loving him nor fail to keep my promise to him. No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said. I have sworn an oath to David, and in my holiness I cannot lie:”(Psalms 89:33-35 NLT)

The Lords unfailing love can never be compared to another love for ‭‭(John‬ ‭14:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬) Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

  29. 36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

God made a covenant with David knowing that his line would have some kings that wouldn’t keep it. Jesus came from that lineage and is the King of kings and Lord of Lords. His Word will never fail. Even though we may fail God he will never fail us or his Word.

  30. 14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

The Lord is not a respecter of persons, which makes judgement just. He bestows His mercy is on thoes that believe his truth.

  31. Psalm 89:1-6

Selah.

5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?

David chose to sing praises to God from the rising until the setting of the sun… God loved David when he was unlovable and He chastised him when he went astray. The promises of God are limitless, if only we submit our will to Him! When we fail Him, he still loves us… It’s not able how you fall it’s how get back up and start again!

  32. v20 I have found David my servant: with my holy oil have I anointed him:

I’m so thankful God found me….and so thankful that HE is still seeking to have a rich relationship with His fallen ,selfish, imprisoned creation.
HE paid the debt we could not pay. HE suffered what HE did not deserve, gave what we could not buy, and love when we did not love in return.

  33. You have made his sword useless and refused to help him in battle.
    Psalms 89:43 NLT

A sword can be quick, powerful and sharp but is only as good as the won using it. If we don’t practice with our sword it wont do us any good in battle. The sword will never change and never stop from doing its purpose. The won who changes is us if we stop using it.

  34. Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

Selah.

Who is as faithful as the Lord our God. If he has said something he will make it come to pass. His words are alive and are action.

  35. Bless the LORD and praise his name for his unfailing love. For his grace and mercy is forever. Even when we feel like it’s not it is

  36. 47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

The Lord Jesus is coming back for His Church, Those who give God thanks for what he has done and follow Him and give him thanks for what he will do. God will follow those with his mercies, who follow him with praises. Jesus is coming soon, we are living in the end times. Church let’s get ready to be lifted up.

  37. 8 O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

There is only one true God. He still reigns above all others and will remain stronger than all others. We must focus on what God wants, so that we will be ready to fulfill his vision.

I thank God because of who he is. He will not leave us nor forsake us. He will give us strength in the time of trouble. He can still make a way out of no way.

  38. “For the Lord is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.”
    Psalms 89:18 KJV

For God, He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense. I shall not be moved. For thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.

  39. 6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?
7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
8 O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

This chapter should challenge us to daily be thankful and sing praises unto God. The Lord is faithful to His people and we should show Him how grateful we really are. He not only manages the heaven and the earth but he also manages our every need in the moments we need Him least and most. He truly is a faithful God

  40. “For the Lord is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.”
    Psalms 89:18 KJV

For God, He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense. I shall not be moved. For thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.

  41. “My faithfulness and unfailing love will be with him, and by my authority he will grow in power. I will extend his rule over the sea, his dominion over the rivers. And he will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’”

When we are in love with the Lord we will have faith and be willing to show and lead people to our father for he is the king and our salvation.

  42. “My faithfulness and unfailing love will be with him, and by my authority he will grow in power. I will extend his rule over the sea, his dominion over the rivers. And he will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’”

As Christian we must love and have faith in him we must lead and tell the lost the truth for he is God pray and build stronger relationship with the Lord.

  43. 1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lordfor ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

Let the love of Jesus Christ shine through you! Spread his word and tell the goodness of him to all that you come in contact with. You never know what you’re testimony or words of encouragement can do for someone. Don’t stop being a witness or spreading his love.

  44. 1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lordfor ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

I like to pray this same prayer after God has answered some of my own requests and my families, that we may make His great name known. I love how this whole chapter exalts Him and lifts up His great name.

52 Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

He is great and it is our job as the church, to invite them and let them know of and make them apprised of His great works. Thank you for answering our prayers. We are a

  45. ““If his sons forsake my law and do not follow my statutes, if they violate my decrees and fail to keep my commands, I will punish their sin with the rod, their iniquity with flogging; but I will not take my love from him, nor will I ever betray my faithfulness. I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:30-34‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God always remains faithful, he loves us continuously despite our foolish ways of sin. So why do we continue to be unfaithful towards him and continue to take away the love he deserves from us. We don’t deserve love, but he loves us regardless. He deserves all of our love but we choose to take it and give it back when it’s convenient. That’s messed up.

  46. Psa 89:9  Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

    He can calm your storm.
He calms the raging seas, he calmed the storms he used man to spread the Red Sea. There’s no other God I could ever worship, Jesus is alive and he’s living in us. Someone needs to hear about Gods power and what he’s done for you and me. Someone needs to know that there’s nothing God can’t do. He’s a waymaker, a wave walker, let’s go share the gospel in Jesus name.

  47. Psalm 89
3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
I reread the third verse more than once and then The Lord Jesus led me to want to invest in learning about all the covenants. It is now started August 20.2020

  48. “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God’s faithfulness and mercy is relentless. He is so good to us. When things happen that we can’t explain, it is because somewhere he, in his all seeing state, is giving mercy that we never knew we were getting. Sometimes we find out later, sometimes we don’t but he is always showing us mercy.
