Psalm Chapter 132 – Chronological

Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.

We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

10 For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.

11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

  1. 13 For the LORD has chosen Jerusalem; he has desired it for his home.

14 “This is my resting place forever,” he said. “I will live here, for this is the home I desired.

15 I will bless this city and make it prosperous; I will satisfy its poor with food. NLT

    Psalm 122:
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. KJV

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; the Lord has chosen it, and He will bless those that bless it.

  2. Verse 17 ERV “This is where I will make David’s family strong. I will never let the lamp of my chosen king stop burning.” This verse reminded me of our Sunday School lesson, as we learned about having the Lord reside inside of you and letting the light of his word guide your path. Psalm 119:105 ERV “Your word is like a lamp that guides my steps, a light that shows the path I should take.” Let your light shine for Jesus, day and night, night and day.

  3. 13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

There is so many places that a person can be, but there is only one that will bring you the most comfort and meet your needs. That place is a place of refuge, aa place of divine peace, a place that you can cast away all your cares and burdens, and a place that will bring you rest and strength. That is in the very presence of God all mighty. A place where you can just get what you need and then your able to take away blessings that you don’t even deserve. You are able to see the goodness and mercy, find help in the time of need and then you are made whole and complete. As I step before the glory of the Lord, I am reminded of a song we sing in praise and worship-

    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
Than here in Your love, here in Your love
    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
Than here in Your love, here in Your love

So set a fire down in my soul
    That I can’t contain and I can’t control
I want more of You, God
I want more of You, God
So set a fire down in my soul
    That I can’t contain and I can’t control
I want more of You, God
I want more of You, God

    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
Than here in Your love, here in Your love
    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
    No place I’d rather be
Than here in Your love, here in Your love

  5. Ps.132: 14-15 [ amp] This is My resting- place for ever [ says the Lord] ; here will I dwell , for I have desired it.
[15] Iwill surely and abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
Rest in the Holy Ghost , No other place I will rather be. God will give us peace in our storms.
I like when our church go on outreach to bless the community with Milk and Bread.
It such a blessing to go out to reach the lost.
I bless our neighborhoods in the Name of Jesus.

  6. 1 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob

I wonder what was David thinking, whenever he wrote this. What emotions was he dealing with to feel that, after everything he had been through with the Lord, that he might be forgotten. And the days whenever things seem to be a roller coaster ride of emotions I’m not the one thing we have to hold onto it’s a fact that God has our backs and will not forget us. it’s normal to feel Forsaken and even forgotten when you’re going through the midst of the storm but you must remind yourself of the one who can calm the storm. Let our faith continue to increase and our walk with God stay on the straight and narrow

  7. “The LORD swore to David A truth from which He will not turn back: “One of your descendants I will set upon your throne. If your children will keep My covenant And My testimony which I will teach them, Their children also shall sit upon your throne forever.””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭132:11-12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

‘ If your children keep my covenant and my testimony‘
God will always show Himself to be faithful, always!! There is a song called ‘The Blessing’ every time I hear it I think of my grandchildren Liam, Jonas, and Declan. And every generation that comes after them. They will keep the covenant and His testimony. They will proclaim and exalt the mighty name of Jesus. I expect nothing less. So continue to train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he WILL not depart from it.

  8. 11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

His truth and His promises endure to all generations. We must keep teaching the next generations, we must keep sharing with our friends. They all have a promise from God. They all are the children of God!

  10. Psalms 132
    132 Remember, O LORD, in David’s favor,
    all the hardships he endured,
2 how he swore to the LORD
and vowed to athe Mighty One of Jacob,
3 “I will not enter my house
    or get into my bed,
4 I will not give sleep to my eyes
    or slumber to my eyelids,
5 until I find a place for the LORD,
a dwelling place for athe Mighty One of Jacob.”

Seek the first the Kingdom of God…
David has endured many hardships but he truly portrays here that his love for God goes beyond his hardships. He puts aside his own desires and needs and puts the work of the kingdom first. Great is God’s faithfulness to those who seek Him first. Daily I must seek first the kingdom of God.
I must live Jesus so I can give Jesus.

  11. Psalms 132:3-5
    3) Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
    4) I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor slumber to mine eyelids.
    5) Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Acts 7:46-47 says that David “found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob. But Solomon built him an house.” Then verse 48 says, “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands;…”
1 Cor. 6:19 says, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God,…” and 2 Cor. 6:16 says, “… for ye are the temple of the Living God;…”

“Until I find a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God”
We are the temple of the LORD. The place he desires to inhabit or dwell in is within us. He wants to inhabit or dwell within our hearts.
Oh that man would only say, “I will not go up into my bed, nor give sleep to mine eyes, nor slumber to my eyelids, UNTIL I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God, UNTIL God desires to inhabit or dwell within my heart.”

How Good and Merciful is our God. To think He would desire to inhabit and dwell within the heart of man.
Thank You JESUS for the HOLY GHOST living inside of me!!

  12. In this chapter it was talking about how David would not sleep just to be closer to the Lord! We must give up something in our lives to please the Lord and show him that we care!

  13. 3 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

Psalm 22:3 speaks of the Lord inhabiting our praise. Let us understand that we were created to worship and praise God. He is all that we should be worshiping. When we make our lives worship Him through our speech, actions, and from within we are making a place for Him to dwell in us continually. We cannot allow sin to separate us from God and a lack of holiness to dilute His power that dwells with in us.

  14. I learned that Always obey the Lord and he’ll do miracles to you Children Where obeying The Lord and you Should to.

  15. Thank you Lord for your blessings that I am undeserving of. Thank you or keeping me safe I your arms. Let my light shine to those who need to know you.

  16. I will clothe its priests with godliness; its faithful servants will sing for joy.
    Psalms 132:16 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/psa.132.16.NLT

To be close to the Lord requires a form of Godliness. Sin cannot exist in His Presence. His Holiness is so intense. For a priest to work that closely with the Lord he must first prepare himself. Dying to his flesh and being washed in the Word are crucial when were seeking the face of God.

  17. Psalm 132:11,12 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne forever more.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added onto you.

  18. 14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

The word of God says for us to love our enemies
But I really like this verse.
Sorry but I Do want the Lord to shame those people…..
He says it right here. So..
    I will praise the Lord
I will prayer that I may do His will

    Thank you holy God.

  20. 7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
8 Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

Do not for sake the assembling of Christians coming together to praise the Lord Jesus. For in the last days men will be lovers of themselves more than lovers of God.

  21. LIVE – GIVE JESUS
    SHOUT FOR JOY

JOY is a much needed asset and necessity for us saints. One of the oldest sermons I have preached is titled “There is a Thief in the House”. It addresses this principal head on identifying the primary attack and goal of the adversary is the JOY of the saints.

    Here is why:

Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

    1. The absence of JOY weakens the saints.

Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

    2. JOY is how the saints refresh our salvation.

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

    3. The absence of JOY hinders the miraculous works of GOD through the saints.

Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

    4. The absence of JOY reveals the absence of Evangelism through the saints.

Psalm 132:12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

    5. When the saints keep their covenants with GOD, HE will give us HIS JOY.

Where is your JOY meter today between 1-10. Lets examine these 5 areas and determine in our hearts to protect and demonstrate The JOY of the LORD in our lives to LIVE and GIVE JESUS to a conflicted and chaotic world.

  22. iLove the Kingdom of Jesus

According to this dialogue between David and God, David was wanting to establish the worship of God in a central location, just as it was in the days of Moses. God answers David in this Psalm with a positive response. This should encourage us all to want to worship God in a central location (Church Zack, Church).

  23. 13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

We are Zion!!!! He has chosen to dwell in us!!! When we are filled with the Holy Ghost our bodies become His Temple and all the blessings listed here and promises are ours to keep. Thank you Jesus!!!!

  24. 13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Our dwelling place can be found in Jesus, for that is where our rest lies and our desire should be.

  25. 3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

David is looking for the place that God wants the temple built. God responds with :
12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
Zion is chosen but first God said teach the children to keep his covenants and his sons will also rule on his (David’s) throne. Unless we pass the apostolic message to our children and to others we have dropped the ball. God promises his truth will endure to every generation so we must be a part of the body that reaches, teaches and loves- be his arms as Bro Parker preached! Live and Give Jesus.

  26. 11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

God’s promise to David is that the fruit of his body (a child) would sit upon the throne, and if his children and his children’s keep the covenants with the Lord, they would sit upon the throne forevermore. God again kept his promise because eventually out of the fruit of David came our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who will reign forevermore on the throne!

What a promise though to be given David. Even in his wavering at times, and fall to sin, he found restoration, and held on to his promises, and God was faithful.

Our roles as parents are to train our children not just how to adult in this present world, but how to adult and live victoriously in the world to come. They need to know their identity, position, purpose and significance in the Kingdom of God. Training them to fight spiritually so the God can use them, just like David at a young age, and then grow and perhaps the fruit of your life (your children) will be great evangelist, preachers, teachers, prophets, missionaries, leaders, in the Kingdom of God.

  27. 11 The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭22:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  28. “He made a solemn promise to the Lord. He vowed to the Mighty One of Israel, “I will not go home; I will not let myself rest. I will not let my eyes sleep nor close my eyelids in slumber until I find a place to build a house for the Lord, a sanctuary for the Mighty One of Israel.””(‭‭Psalms‬ ‭132:2-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

We can honestly say that we have been in David’s shoes here before by making a important promise to the Lord in our personal walks with Christ. This verse David courage’s and disciplines himself to never closes his eyes or to never go home until he finds a house to build for the lord. What I understand from this verse is that we should have the same attitude and determination like David. David was talking about his walk by building his spiritual relationship with the lord. We know that building a personal spiritual relationship with the lord takes a lot of discipline, patience, loyalty, in our walks with the Lord. So i courage my church family today whatever it is that you promised God that you wanted to him to do in your walk with him go with the same attitude and determination that David did.

  29. 5 “until I find a place to build a house for the Lord, a sanctuary for the Mighty One of Israel.”

Are we as dedicated as David? He wouldn’t rest till his work for The Lord is done!
We should strive to live the same way!

  30. 3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
    Psalm 121:3
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
In our walk with God we need to make sure we dont slulmber in our spirit, we should have a desire of more of him and less of us. God never slumbers, he never stops working for us. Even when we feel all alone he is working for our good. Thank you Jesus

  31. “If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall sit upon thy throne evermore.” Psalms 132:12

It is very important to raise your children in the kingdom of God. When we are saved and receive the Holy Spirit, of course we want our family to have the blessings as well. I thank you God for all that you have done for me!

  32. v5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

A place…intimacy with God is a place of prayer.
” Behold, there is a place by me and you shalt stand on a rock ” Exodus 33:21

There is a place in God where your
    soul doesn’t lack,
you have plenty, a place where you
always move forward, a place where
    you always win the battle,
that place is in God– you find it in prayer,
    Andrew Murray

We receive from HIM wonderful gifts and benefits , but the greatest gift of God in prayer is HIMSELF .
We love HIM for who HE is.

  33. Psalms 132:1
Lord, remember David and all that he suffered.

The blessing is in the breaking. It wasn’t until it was broken, that it began to multiply. That which refuses to be broken, refuses to be blessed. It is in the breakings of life that produces the blessings of life. Some of the most blessed people that you will ever meet, have gone through something that broke them before they got to the blessing. Because it’s the blessing is hidden in the broken. The more that He broke it, the more it multiplied. The more He broke it, that’s when it would multiply. He would break it, and break it, and break it, and it would multiply. Every time He broke it, it multiplied in His hands. Now, that’s a spiritual law, that if God allows you to go through breaking, it is not to destroy you. It is to bless you, because the breaking is what brings the blessing. have you thanked the Lord for every time He broke you? Every time He snapped you? Every time He put you through a season of brokenness? He wasn’t killing you. He was blessing you, every time He was breaking you. Every time you were rejected. Every time you were alienated. Every time you were disappointed. Every time you were cursed. Every time you were told no. Every time your heart was broken. Broken homes, broken hearts, broken families, broken hopes. The greatest blessings come out of the hardest breakings, and that’s why we don’t get discouraged.

  34. Psalms 132:7
Let us go to the sanctuary of the lord; let us worship at the footstool of his throne.

    Worship
the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity.
    “the worship of God”

true worshipers must worship God in “spirit and in truth.” That is, true worship takes place on the inside, in the heart or spirit of the worshiper (cf. Psalm 45:1 ; 103:1-2 ). Worship pleasing to God must be unfeigned and transparent, offered with a humble and pure heart ( Psalm 24:3-4 ; Isa 66:2 ).
But this is not enough. Worship “in truth” connects the heart or spirit of worship with the truth about God and his work of redemption as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ and the Scriptures. David understood the importance of worshiping in truth and the necessary linkage between “truth” and the Word of God when he wrote, “Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear [i.e., worship] your name” ( Psalm 86:11 ; cf. Psalm 145:18 ). Here both the Old and New Covenants agree! The true worship of God is essentially internal, a matter of the heart and spirit rooted in the knowledge of and obedience to the revealed Word of God. God merits worship because in his imminent presence he is able to answer those who call upon him and forgive their wrongdoings ( Psalm 99:8 ). It was this intimate presence of a holy God that prompted heartfelt praise and worship ( Psalm 99:3 ) and the keen desire for holy living among the people of Israel ( Lev 19:2 ).

  35. “Lord, remember David and all that he suffered. He made a solemn promise to the Lord. He vowed to the Mighty One of Israel, “I will not go home; I will not let myself rest. I will not let my eyes sleep nor close my eyelids in slumber until I find a place to build a house for the Lord, a sanctuary for the Mighty One of Israel.””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭132:1-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬
David was absolutely dedicated to building God a temple, a dwelling place. David’s dedication to this was so complete that he vowed to refuse himself many comforts of life until the job was finished.

  36. Lord, remember David and all that he suffered.

  37. 1 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

    2 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
It is easy to overlook that the great men of God had afflictions. It is important to set aside our troubles and simply worship God.

  38. Psalm 132:1-5
1 Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

    2 How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

    3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

This Psalm struck a chord in me…. have I made a place for the Lord in my life? Have I maintained my altar in the presence of the Lord? So many times we get so busy with all the chaos going on around us, but our focus should be in Him! Lord, I pray that you would help me out me my attention on keeping the fire on my altar burning!

  39. 8 Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

Whenever we grow weak and weary we can go to the lord and find rest in him: he will always carry us when we can no longer walk, he will fight for us when we can no longer fight our battles. We should always remember what David said, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thy rod and shaft comfort me……….he will always comfort us and strengthen us whenever we can’t go on.

  40. 14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

God one day will come back for His Church and we will be with Him forever. Because His promise’s are true. JESUS is coming soon

  41. 3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; 4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, 5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

David was so dedicated into finding a place to build a house for the Lord he didn’t let anything stop him from doing the Lords work. He was willing to sacrifice to give unto the Lord. We should be exactly like David at this moment we need to put things aside and focus on growing our alter with the Lord with him each day willing to build a place for you and God no matter what. Are you willing to sacrifice just like David for the Lord no matter what?

  42. 12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

God is not confined to a house made by mans hands. He is omnipresent. What the psalmist is longing for is a place dedicated to worshipping God. As a part of the church we collectively make up the body. Today God takes up residence within us with His Holy Spirit.

God will forever honor his covenant with his people. We honor God by keeping it as well as teaching the Word and pass the baton.

  43. 3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

5 Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Make room. The Lord does not force us to be in relationship with him. Yet on the contrary he pursues us and let’s us choose him. Every day we have a choice. Will we make room, a habitation for the Holy One of Israel? Will we set aside some time to be with him in prayer and worship and reading of His Word? Remember it’s a relationship and any relationship it’s an investment of your time talent and treasure.

  44. He made a solemn promise to the Lord . He vowed to the Mighty One of Israel, “I will not go home; I will not let myself rest. I will not let my eyes sleep nor close my eyelids in slumber until I find a place to build a house for the Lord , a sanctuary for the Mighty One of Israel.”
    Psalms 132:2‭-‬5 NLT

If we can just get the mind set, that we won’t stop or rest until we make our heart His dwelling place. Then we will be able to have the relationship david had with the Lord. It takes everyday looking and seeking Him. Dont stop and He will always be by your side.

  45. “Until I find a place for the LORD, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob (Israel).””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭132:5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I won’t end this day without giving Him praise, without communing with Him, without tapping into that heavenly language, without sharing His great world with someone. We have to makeUp our minds to be the body of Christ, showing others to see Him before they see us.

I thank God for dwelling in us. I pray we give God control, becoming vessels for Him to use

  46. “We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭132:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD, our maker. Enter into His altar with thanksgiving, praise, and bless His name.

  47. Psalm 132
God answered King David words found from Verse 1 – 9 in verses 13- 16 HOW GREAT IS GOD WHO WILL SIT ON DAVID’S THORN IN THE MILLENNIUM.

  48. 7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

There is just something about coming in and worshiping at the King’s feet.

12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

If we teach our children His truths, covenant, and ways then it not only saves them, but also the next generation as well. To teach and to give that to not one but to two different generations is a huge feat and definitely something I want to be apart of.

  49. The set up

12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

Lots of people I talk to are concerned about what they are leaving their children when they pass. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to leave them with a relationship with God? Wouldn’t it be wonderful for them to make it to heaven to see them again? We have to always beready for our children to give Jesus. Nothing else matters.

  50. ““I absolutely will not enter my house, Nor get into my bed— I certainly will not permit my eyes to sleep Nor my eyelids to slumber, Until I find a place for the LORD, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob (Israel).””
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭132:3-5‬ ‭AMP‬‬

If you’re feeling empty inside, maybe too far from God, it’s time to seek him until you find a place for him in your life. Put away everything that keeps you from him and allow it to make room for him and only him.

  51. Psa 132:4  I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
Psa 132:5  Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

We have to find a place for our God the Lord of Lords. Without him we’re nothing but a bag of death. When we’re filled with the Holy Ghost our new mission is to find those without him and show them the love of Christ. So they too could have life more abundant. Find a place for Jesus today

  52. 12If your descendants obey the terms of my covenant
and the laws that I teach them, then your royal line
    will continue forever and ever.”

We all want to be blessed, but only IF we serve God. Not everyone want to serve God, but will do so when needed or it’s convenient to them. IF we serve then you and future generations will be blessed.

  53. David’s desire was to please and honor God. Those who seek after God all have the desire to please and honor God. We see his glory and his delight. It is our longing to bring him joy, to serve the one who has protected us and kept us safe, to bless the name of the Lord.
